Both people I worked with (to set up my account and the welcome call) were very helpful and friendly. They were thorough and made sure I was comfortable and had answers to all my questions. I was nervous about calling and thought I might be judged but I never felt that way during the process.

The reps of National Debt Relief were very nice and very helpful. I sent them copies of what I owed and what my income was. And then when it changed, they worked with me to accommodate for that. They also let me know when there's a settlement, and I okay it. And we go from there. In January, I had my knee replaced, so my income went down. So, they worked with me as far as holding off on payments until I got back to work. And then, when I did go back to work, they didn't have a full-time position for me, so I had to go part-time. And then, I chose to retire because the income would be about the same. And so now, they work with me that I send my payment once a month out of my social security instead of every two weeks out of my paycheck. So, they've been very cooperative. I'm very happy with my experience with National Debt Relief. They've done a good job.

Took too long and to many trips to the fax machine to send the same paperwork. Several asked for the same and no one individual stuck to the process till it was done. Dissatisfied with the length of time it took to do such a simple matter cause the individual kept disappear out of reach for the day and then someone else had to take the effort improve efforts and relationships with customers for better customer service than what I received this moment for three to four days in a row.

I work for the government and in the government, you can't let debt linger. One of my lieutenants said National Debt Relief is a good company so I used them. I got six debts and they said, "Well, we've settled on the first one, we're starting to pay on it. Now, we're gonna start on another one." We're supposed to pay off one and then go to the next one so that was a little different. What I feel is they're prolonging the situation 'cause if you pay one, you pay that off real fast. Then you move to the next one and you pay that one off real fast too. And you keep it going. If you start paying on one and you start paying on another one, that's what'll keep me longer.

Updated on 07/30/2024: I was happy with National Debt Relief. They took care of my bills and when I had problems not being able to pay, they worked with me. I was able to see how much progress was being done, how much they were able to consolidate with the people that I was consolidating with. They were able to help me out with a situation that I was going through and I didn't have to worry about phone calls coming to me. I was able to go about my business, do my job, and able to put this money in this account that they wanted me to put in so they could pay these people off. I just finished the program in May with money left over and they sent it to me right away. It took a while, but right now, I'm debt-free.

So to clear one thing up, I am not up buying maniac. I got into trouble with credit meeting life’s expenses: car breaks, food, school supplies, etc. I got in a jam quickly and there was a lot I did not want to do, for example the credit cards shuffle.
