    I just signed up for this service after trying to get myself out of unsecured debt. I can only review the entry process. Heads up, it's a long couple of phone calls. But, that made me more at ease that this isn't just a click and forget program. While explaining everything there will be things they say that might scare you, but just like going in for a surgery, there are always risks, but not getting it is worse than the risks. They appear to be tops in their game and I'm confident once the settlements begin it's going to be a relief.

    I found out, after being with the company for over two years, that they have a minimum amount required for adding it to your balance. Even though you tell them about all of your debt and they have access to it, unless you specifically comb through each line they could be leaving something off, due to that rule. However you do not inquire as to why the amount was left off, they do not have tell you. Now, for a bill that was $250, I owe well over $800 and facing wage garnishments. They do not tell you everything upfront and with further inspection, found out your "savings" mainly go to paying the bill for their "services", you really save nothing and they really do not protect from anything.

    Updated on 02/13/2020: So far, I’ve had three settlements done, and they should be paid off by June, which is good ‘cause I’ve only been in the program for six months. And they have been in contact with several others. That’s a good thing so far. The only thing is I like to stay on top of things and they can improve by doing more calls that will let you know what’s the status, or, “We reached out to this person or that person.” But I did speak to a couple of representatives. There are so many that they work with, it’s hard to make those phone calls.

    The person who helped me in the enrollment process was very patient. When I asked her to call me back two weeks later, she always called back in that time. She wasn’t very pushy. She understood I was trying to figure out all my options before settling on what I wanted to do, and she gave me all advice and any information that I requested and required.

    Original Review: I was very hesitate and worried about giving up my credit card but the more I spoke with individuals with the team I feel better about my future. I look forward to being debt-free and having a better control over my finances.

    The first thing that National Debt Relief did was to help me restore my self-confidence and respect. I was pretty downtrodden by the whole situation I got myself into and they restored that, and I felt like I was being proactive and in control again. We've managed to pay off some of my debts. Some of the credit cards are paid off. I just got a notice the other day that another one was paid off. Their ability to work with me according to my check schedules when they come in and everything has been wonderful.

    The month before last, I had a unexpected $500 car repair that had to be done. So, I was not able to make a commitment that I had made for deductions from my bank account, and they they asked me when can I make the payment, and I told them I could do it on the same date next month. They said okay, and they fixed that for me. The payment has been made and everything is fine. So my experience has been good. The people that work for NDR are really very, very careful to not dehumanize the person. They treated me with respect and compassion. We're making great process, and I'm a happy camper so far.
