When going into the debt relief program, I was really anxious. This never was a place I wanted to be and yet here I am. I appreciate that National Debt Relief took time to not only explain the entire process, from start to finish, but readily ask and pursue for any questions or concerns on my end.

I saw National Debt Relief’s commercial on TV and when I spoke with Allie, the rep, she helped me over the phone and it sounded like a good thing that I needed. I’ve been in the program for a year and it’s still a struggle but I’m doing it. The payment plan has been good so far. Everything is going smoothly with NDR so I very seldom call but when I have a question, I would call or they would call me.

Very humble guy. As far as the lady that initiated the welcome phone call share kinda like was BRUSHING ME OFF every time I try to say something pertaining to a given question. I had several experiences with whoever answers the phone putting me through to the person that was helping me. They didn’t want to do it and they wanted name address ss# etc. I had to ask several times to just put me through. I also felt harassed with phone calls and emails about my welcome phone call. I found National Debt Relief online and they seemed reasonable. They said they could do it for me, so I went with it. They’re just helping me get everything squared away. The negotiator was knowledgeable and helpful. He called me back when I needed to know things, or he gave me a number when I needed to call him and do things. They got a few of the credit cards paid off already. So the biggest one is American Savings, and together with Harley-Davidson they are the only ones left. Right now, they take automatically out every month, and then they take care of whatever I am taking care of. So that is good. My credit started to climb a little. They’ve been great and everything is getting paid. I have rated them to a few people.

My husband is military and one of his soldiers has been using NDR for over a year now. He had nothing but good things to say and he showed us how they improved his credit so he could get his security clearance. We thought we'd step out on a limb and try them too. Everything is going well. Recently they were looking to make settlements on the last two accounts, which are really big ones and affecting my credit the most. The payment plan they gave me is good and reasonable. Plus, they do a check every time we talk to make sure there are no other issues. Recently, I did a 60-day pause on the program until December because my husband was injured and medically discharged out of the military. They took that into consideration and answered our questions. And they were able to get that pause for us until we got situated in Texas.

I have called and emailed about the attorney contract that I am to sign, with no response. Para 8 is so open. It allows the firm to charge any amount that they so desire, leaving them with a open checkbook for me to write the checks to them. Once Boris got my signature I have not heard from him either.

I didn’t realize how NDR decided to pay certain credit cards but also put money away. They were putting more money away in a savings account to pay off a credit card in case somebody took me to court. They solve that credit card so I wouldn’t have to go to court. But I had over $2,000 in that account sitting for over three months when it could have gone to pay off one of my credit cards. It was very disappointing. Within the nine months with NDR, my credit dropped to 400 because it looked like I wasn’t paying my bills. Finally, I've smartly decided to go with Chapter 13 and right now, I pay my attorney $185 bi-weekly. I was paying NDR $906. It was horrible and I should have quit sooner. Filing bankruptcy is the smartest choice anybody can make. You can resolve your stuff within a year or two instead of waiting five years and having nothing.

Updated on 02/14/2021: I was told it was going to take three years and I'm almost halfway through the program. National Debt Relief has been good. The only thing is I'm not able to access anything like an account. I don't get any kind of monthly statement so it's hard for me to keep track of what's going on. It would be better if they would implement some kind of monthly statement showing you paid this and this much is being paid to the creditor. Other than that, I'm satisfied.

I have had nothing but prompt and detailed service when dealing with all professionals with this company. I am grateful for each and every question being answered. I wasn’t able to juggle my bills any longer. I couldn’t handle it, so I needed help. I’ve seen National Debt Relief commercials on TV and I read up on them. It seemed reputable and I like their plans. Basically, they talk with the creditors and I build a savings account. With each creditor, we save up money, and present to each creditor, individually, to pay them off on the agreed upon amount. By the time they present the plan to me on whether I want to agree upon it or not, they’ve already spoken with the creditor. Afterwards, they’ll settle the debt for whatever percentage it is and then I’ll pay an amount every month for so many months.

So far the start of my journey on getting out of debt has been amazing. I can't wait to see what this company does for me. Jeremy who helped me start this process was amazing and made sure he explained everything to me and answered all my questions.

I am happy with the service so far, but I wish I had more control over what accounts went into debt consolidation. There were accounts put in that I did not want in and others left out that should have been included.

Fantastic staff, very knowledgeable and friendly. This consolidation will save me thousands and they showed they cared from the first phone call to the wrap up call. We have been with National Debt Relief for not quite two years and so far, our experience with them has been good. We had more debt than we could handle and the reviews I read about NDR were favorable. Their reps are pleasant to deal with. They set us up with a plan where we pay into a banking account and they’re paying our debts. They are talking to our debtors and getting the debt amount reduced and paying it down that way. We set our payment dates and we are now paying down the debt that we have. We’re not quite halfway through, but we’ve paid off some of the smaller ones. We’re happy with the service so far. However, they call too much and they don’t really give us any updated information. Still, we're very happy with what they’ve done.

I overall had a good experience signing up for this program. My only complaint would be that when I was asked if I had any questions and I did have questions. Both Shakela who signed me up and Amanda who did my welcome call seemed irritated that I had a question. The tone in their voice changed quite a bit when answering my questions as if they were annoyed that I had a question.

With the man I talked, was not patient when it came to me answering questions. I was unaware I had to produce what I spent on expenses/what I made, so being asked I had to think for a min. and he would rush me to answer. I did not appreciate that. And when it came to filling out the form I needed to submit he was impatient as well, and with that he missed a lot of pages that I needed to sign and we had to go back to find them.

When we were looking for debt consolidation, I called National Debt Relief and they had a specialist call me back and walk me through all the paperwork. They made sure I had signed everything properly. They were really thorough and were able to pull up everything so there wasn't a whole lot of work on my part. They made the enrollment process much easier. In the beginning, they were upfront with everything but there were times where they need a little bit extra money upfront to get the settlement approved and that wasn't explained. When I found out, it took me by surprise. The first time, they asked $500 and extra. We weren't able to do it but they were still able to make it work and settle.

Lisa was very good at explaining the program and Bill ** was great also. I is hard to have to go through this action but both made us feel ok about our decision. We would recommend to anyone who needed help.
