This company is the epitome of stupid and moronic combined. The left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing or what the customer wants. If I had it to do all over I would absolutely file for bankruptcy instead of having to tolerate this nonsense.

I had applied for a loan to pay off my credit cards. When the loan was rejected they referred me to several different companies and one was Freedom Debt Relief. I had tried for many loans and been turned down. I wanted to pay what I owed but couldn’t afford the high payments anymore through the credit card companies, but no one would give me a loan. So I finally gave in and went through Freedom Debt Relief. I have now reached the settlement phase on some of my debt and I am feeling better about everything.

I have had Freedom since March of 2017 and my friend recommended them to me. I'm older and debts kept piling up. It would have taken me about 30 years to pay them off. I called because A creditor calling and saying that they had my account that Citibank had given it to them. And she also said that they would not work with Freedom Debt. I have no way to pay that myself after the call and to talk to someone. The girl I talk to yes they were working. I feel much better now!

I had lack of funds because of my husband getting very, very ill. I couldn’t get out from underneath because I didn’t have time to do anything else. I happened to run across Freedom Debt Relief when they called me. I seen them on TV as well, so I gave them a call. I've been in their program for about six months and I'm on to my last payoff. I had a gentleman that I've been in touch with. He gave me numbers to stay in touch and told me to call him any time. But whenever I tried, after a while, it was incomplete to call, so I ended up having to call straight to the office. After we had emailed, I just called the office straight. But overall, I'm very satisfied with my experience.

Everything went well with Freedom Debt Relief. Once I talked to them, I made the decision to do it with them. The consultant put my mind at ease because the biggest thing is to stop paying the debt. I was in debt for about 80K and was having difficulty paying the Monthly Fees on Loans. I am impressed that they are taking action only after 2 months. I have one settlement already accomplished. So far I am happy and would recommend this service to other people. Their estimate amount of settlement payments over the course of 4 years is affordable. They work with you if anything comes up. Updated on 09/23/2020: Freedom Debt Relief lives up to its name to help individuals who are struggling to pay off debt to become free and relieved of debt. Each customer has a client dashboard to log into to check the progress of an affordable monthly amount of funds accumulating into their dedicated account while viewing metrics relating to where each debt is in the negotiation process. I received 2 settlements within a year of each other on big credit card debt I was forced to accrue to survive 2 job losses without severance pay. Both debts were reduced to more than half of the original debt owed. FDR negotiators are very skilled in their craft. Customer service is very friendly, professional, and helpful. I really like that I could chat live with FDR reps online when the customer service hotline had large call volume from COVID-19.
Original Review: Freedom Debt Relief (FDR) has been a godsend and life saver, significantly helping me get snowballing debt under control as I slowly recover from 2 major job losses very close in time to each other. This is an opportunity to start over much sooner than later and not to have to life with paying off debts for a lifetime. I just received my first settlement on one of my debts, which will be pay off as agreed at slightly over one-third of what I originally owed. There is something to be said about FDR being the Number 1 Debt Relief company in the country. I recommend everyone in a struggle to recover from financial losses and move forward as quickly as possible to use the services of FDR. FDR sets its clients up on an affordable monthly payment plan to accrue funds into the dedicated account that will build up funds used to settle debts. Ingenious! :-)

When I first started I could not help but think, did I do the right thing? After the first year went by and I saw my credit score begin to rebound, I realized I did make the right move. Now with a little over a year left to go before I’m completely out of the debt hole I was in, I could not be happier. Car loan, no problem (great rate), credit cards (New offers come in the mail daily), no problem and I’m getting better rates now than before the program. Now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it’s no longer a train coming the other way.

I had an extended period of unemployment due to some health issues and got behind. I found Freedom Debt Relief to be more open and receptive to communication compared to other companies, and they were honest. They went to great lengths to explain the program, how it worked and how it can give me the results I needed. They set up a plan with all my creditors to negotiate reduced payoffs. Their rep was tremendous and the quality of service I received was top-notch. I get emails from them all the time and updates. I also have a dashboard that I can go to and check on things and communicate with them. It’s quite easy.

I was explained the process; I made my monthly payments and at the six month mark, They had settled on one of my accounts. I was amazed they settled at 53 percent. I couldn’t be happier. I live mainly on Social Security and we had so much card trouble. I’ve been struggling for months and it got too far where it’s either that or no medication. We had to do something on our maxed out credit cards and Freedom Debt Relief has helped me, but I'm not really happy with them. I wish that they would call all of my creditors and let them know that I have turned things over to them and that we are going to work with them. I keep telling the creditors, but they don’t want to hear that from me. They want to hear it from them. I’ve sent Freedom Debt Relief the letters that I get, and they say that they’ve got it on process, but they haven’t done anything yet. My rep has been really nice though, and I really like her. She went through what I owed and did what she could for my payment plan, which was better than my situation before.

I read some reviews of some companies and Freedom Debt Relief seemed like it was a better fit for me. The company has really exceeded my expectations. It's a little slow at first but they explained to me the time that it takes. Everything is going good. The people that I have interacted with have been awesome. There were some questions in reference to deposits. There were some things that they gave me some explanations for. As much as I asked, they were there to answer. That says a lot because most people will throw you off then keep on going. I've had a great experience so far.

I got into debt because of my mortgage. I was starting to get into credit cards to pay my mortgage because I was having trouble with that. Before you know it, I got into a really difficult time. I tried to do some kind of finance with Chase and it took a long time. They told me that if I pay them three temporary payments and consistently, they could put me in the program. I paid all three of them earlier than on time but they say they didn’t get one of the payments. I was then taken out of the program. It was a mess and a terrible experience. By the time I got it settled, it was a year. I didn’t pay my mortgage for a full year. I just started picking up from there. I could prove that I paid them and they cashed my check. Finally, I got onto the program again with Chase and I'm working to get on my feet now. I just need about another year and a half or so.
I friend of mine gave a good word about Freedom Debt Relief. When I first got into it, I was thinking about going bankrupt. Their reps discussed it with me and they said it would be better for me if they could work on a term that I could pay them back and they would pay the creditors the best they could. It might be a half a percentile of what I owe. I took that into consideration and made the decision to do the program with them. I've had a good experience with them.
All I do now is pay twice a month and they start negotiating. They have been negotiating with the different credit card companies and it’s been great for me. My payment plan has been good. I can add money at any time I want and it would help reduce the longevity of the program. Right now, I’m doing the best I can with the two payments I have. Freedom of Debt Relief has taken a large burden off of me. It put a little less burden on me with all the debt. They're great.

Updated on 01/30/2021: Started using Freedom Debt Relief in 2018. Three out of six accounts closed successfully. Two in progress, and one outstanding. They are quick to alert me when anything is amiss. They also are quick when an authorization is needed. An all around, Excellent Company!!!!
Original Review: I had been working with my financial advisor and he’d been telling me maybe I was just dumping quick money off the bed and maybe there was some way I could do. So, I started looking for companies and saw Freedom Debt Relief. I gave it a look and we started talking. Freedom Debt Relief is so far working out pretty good. When I recently got a court notice from American Express, I sent Freedom Debt Relief a copy of the letter and they said not to worry about it. The National Litigation Law Group is working with Freedom Debt Relief.
I would recommend Freedom Debt Relief. They have been very helpful with my situation. I don’t think they like not being able to make payments, but due to situations beyond my control, that’s something I have had to do. I felt like I was drowning in debt when I call FDR. I spoke with Jacob and he went through the program and all my options and spent time with me in order to ensure I understood how it all work. So far, the process has been very well executed. I have had some questions regarding creditors and how the process of resolving the enrolled debt actualy takes place, but have always had a prompt reply to my questions. Since I went into agreement with Freedom Debt Relief, it's almost a month now or plus. In fact they withdrawned $200.00 from my account as per agreement on 30th of August but my creditors keep harassing me with emails and mails of reporting me to credit bureau.

I called to check on the status of my accounts and was told that they are still waiting for both credit card companies to settle. I was then advised that I could contact them directly to negotiate. I guess I don't understand why this process has not been resolved yet and why I was advised to contact my creditors.

After a relationship fail and debt left behind, I was struggling to figure out where to even start and drowning at the same time. I am somewhat happy that some of the debt is going right along, but I am very unhappy with the fact that the Thinkwise debt was not settled. It does not appear that any payment has not been handled with this account. I mentioned to the representative on the phone before getting into the program; I did not want to include the Thinkwise on the program because I had a good rapport with the credit union.
I have contacted your office on several occasions and inquire about the Thinkwise account. I was informed the Thinkwise Credit Union Account was pending, and your company was waiting on Thinkwise to respond to you. I recently found out that was not the case; Thinkwise was not managed by your company and the reason why is because your company handles the little amount first. I was also informed to add more money to my deposit to manage the Thinkwise account because there were not enough funds to handle it. Of course I am dissatisfied with this outcome and the way it was handled. I was also asked if I want to continue to make the payments with Thinkwise I can do so. Thinkwise account is more than 90 days past due, and I cannot afford to pay $1000 to get back on track with Thinkwise. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. If that was the case, why am I getting help from your company? I am not happy with this at all.

We looked at some of the things on the internet and looked Freedom Debt Relief up, and they had a lot better ratings than the rest of them. We always get a notification through our email or through a phone call that a settlement is being worked on. The payment plan worked very well for us. Working with Freedom has given us a little bit of breathing room. Our credit score has taken a dive, but we have managed without any credit and have learned how to deal with that. It’s not that difficult. Right now, I have an account that’s been turned over to a creditor that I have to talk to Freedom about, and get them to take care of it because I thought that was in the settlement thing that they have recently hit our credit report with it. I thought that they were working on a settlement with it. Freedom is always very responsive whenever we call.

I used to have credit cards with very high balances and those times, I would help my brother as well as my son who was going through college. I was putting money on a credit card at 0% interest too. I had an 800 credit score before but then I lost my job for three or four months. That was what started my problem. I had an issue with US Bank who kept calling and calling me. A couple of friends and my sister had gone through Freedom Debt Relief and they talked highly of them. I went with Freedom as well and US Bank quit calling. When I spoke to Freedom's rep, felt like a huge burden had been lifted and that he knew what he was talking about. He was very thorough and very friendly. He made me feel a sigh of relief that they could help me.
However, I didn't know about the fees. While he probably went over them with me, I had so much on my mind when I had anxiety from my bills. When I told them that they needed to stop calling me, I signed up with Freedom Still, I haven't had any issues at all and haven't had to talk to anybody in months. The process has been seamless.

I recently received a letter from a collection agency regarding one of my accounts I had placed with Freedom for debt resolution. It contained conflicting account numbers. We think the fees are way too high. It cost us in fees. Then what we saved on are bill every time. The paid one bill of it cost us 400.00 to 500.00 dollar. We would not ever do this again. And you never talk to anyone after they get you in.

This has been tough situation. My debt was out of control and its still not where I want it to be yet, but FDR has settled 3 of my accounts and already see some improvement on my credit score (I still have a long way to go). The reps were quick to respond when I've called and they’ve helped with different things that have happened over the time that I've been with Freedom Debt. I have terminal cancer right now, and I'm gonna add an extra $1,000 with the 20th’s contribution. Hopefully, Freedom Debt can close out the last one that has not been settled yet. I need to settle everything before the year ends because I don’t know how much longer I have to live, and I don’t wanna leave the debt to my children.
I've been working diligently and trying to get all of the accounts settled. And then, I would call Freedom Debt once everything is in settlement and find out what the settlement payment amount is. I was eligible for a life insurance benefit because I'm terminally ill, and I'm going to use that to pay off my debt. Freedom Debt is aware of the situation and I've been very comfortable with them as a company. They’ve settled things quickly. The first year was a bit of a nightmare because I wasn’t used to not paying my bills. I was instructed not to pay anything and that was very difficult for me. I was harassed particularly by Citibank but eventually, it all stopped. Things have been running along smoothly since that all stopped.

We were in debt with credit cards and we heard that Freedom Debt Relief was the best consolidation company. The first year we were with them, they were able to consolidate our credit. We then went for the loan. They are paying all of our debts for us. Their rep was very professional, courteous, and fast. Working with them had really taken a lot of pressure off of us and gave us a manageable payment plan. With our payment plan, they worked with our individual needs. We are very happy with their service.
We referred FDR to a very close friend of ours and we received a $250 check in the mail for doing it which was awesome. So far, our friend told us that FDR is doing a wonderful job. She thanks us all the time for the referral. That makes it even better. Now we would qualify to have everything paid in full. We have gotten five or six calls from FDR letting us know that our debt was paid in full.
We were saving thousands of dollars on just the settlement money that they were doing and that money was actually paying FDR for what they’re doing for us. We had a debt of $1,500 that they were trying to negotiate with and they turned around and told FDR that it had been signed off 100%. We didn’t have to pay one penny on that one. FDR is saving us money, all the stress, all the stuff that comes with it, and all the anguish.

I liked the guy I talked to at Freedom Debt Relief. I was nervous. But he was a really nice guy. I called back several times after, and I called for him, and he would always return my call. He made me feel like I wasn’t a piece of crap. I was current with all my credit cards, but I was losing my second job and I knew I wasn’t gonna be able to swing all that crap. I had to figure something out, and he told me, “If you’re gonna have to not pay them, you’re gonna have to be late. You’re gonna have to start saving money to pay debts, and we’ll settle it.”
I’ve been with Freedom since 2017 and they said that if I don't miss a payment and do what I'm supposed to do my graduation date is quicker. The rep said my credit would go down, but later on, after I got everything straightened out, it would go back up. I’d recommend Freedom. But I don't know how true they stand by their words. Their interest rate is just so much cheaper, and I feel like if I had done that, I’ll already be debt-free.

I heard about Freedom Debt Relief on TV and being in debt and needing some help, I called them up and they solved my debt for me. They contacted the cards and negotiated a lesser debt. I've spoken to the rep every time a debt has to be settled. They also emailed me and I emailed them back to let them know if I'd agree with the settlement, without saying yes on all of them. And they followed up with me. Plus, they were always knowledgeable and seemed like they knew what they were talking about. The customer support that I have received from them had been good, too. Their monthly fee was a little high though then I got something in the mail saying whenever a certain amount of my debt is relieved, I have to file it on my taxes and I didn't know about that until it happened. But other than that, FDR has been wonderful.

I had gotten overwhelmed with my credit card debt and personal loans. I thought that borrowing more money was the answer; I was wrong. After finding out that I couldn’t qualify for a debt consolidation loan; I was referred to Freedom Debt Relief. They explained the whole process and estimated time that I would be debt free. It's going good with Freedom Debt Relief. They're doing their job. My granddaughter did the same thing I’m doing and they signed me in with Freedom Debt Relief. I’m really happy with them but the other company got confused. They came and gave me papers for a court, and those papers were from July. Freedom called me and said that the other law office shouldn’t have gotten those. Freedom already paid three accounts and they already negotiated with Synchrony Bank. They told me they already sent a payment on August the 30th, and the other offices are not supposed to be bugging me.
This morning, I sent another paper to the other law office because they told me yesterday that they didn't have it. They did have it because I sent it to them last week. I went and spent three times faxing them and I e-mailed too. I told the lady yesterday, “Why am I gonna pay this money if I’m already paying 346?" But the other people didn't know. I’m not happy with the other office because they don't talk.

Freedom Debt Relief was the best rated one out there. They explained everything to us each time they'd call with something that I would have to okay. We would agree on it before we went for it so each time, it was cleared by us. It was something that works for us and not for them. They don't call you just to bug you. We will be a lot freer from debt after using them. They still have one or two debts in there, and they only have one big one left and that's it. They did an excellent job and we're very happy with them.

So far, Freedom Debt Relief has been great, but it looks like some of the debts are still on my credit report. I see some as a settlement, but a couple are saying collections that are supposed to have been resolved. Still, Freedom Debt Relief has seemed to be very reputable and they're easy to work with. I also liked the way the consultant told me how things work. Even though I was putting the money in, I liked that they got someone to come in and pay. I just have to repay them the money.

Years of in recession, being out of work, and having to put COBRA on credit cards, I needed to be responsible and go pay my debts off. When I initially set up, I didn't have a law firm or the legal coverage. But very quickly I said, “That’s something I should have, in case someone doesn't wanna negotiate with Freedom Debt Relief". So, on my part, I’m glad that I took the advice of the advisor I was talking to. The process was very easy for me. However, they never got my second card, so I was being brought forward. I then told that card company that I was in Freedom Debt Relief. So, they worked something out with me. I send some law firm in Valhalla, New York $100 a month.
I’m almost done with my FDR program, and they just did my last settlement. I had called last week because it was like $87 a month for two years, but I contribute $336 every two weeks. With woman I got on the phone, I said, “Why am I gonna be paying this for the next two years? Once you take your fee, why can’t you just pay them?” In all of the years, this was the first time I spoke to someone that works there that couldn’t answer all my questions. So, I just pay lesser fees, get done this month because I paid three times this month. Hopefully I’ll get someone who has a little bit more knowledge, and say, “Oh yeah, of course. We can do that." I'm looking forward to having that $680. Overall, the quality of service I received was very good.

Freedom Debt Relief was the first one I talked to and I liked what I heard. The first account executive that I talked to walked me through and set up the whole thing. Since then, I called customer service if I have questions, and I've always gotten through very promptly and always gets my questions answered. They're working based on how much I was putting in. So, it's moving along, and I'm happy. I'm getting texts from them and I can respond on the text. Some things come on email but I always got my phone with me, so I just have to hit something there to indicate that I accept the offer. I have enough to live on now. I spend less than I bring in every month. In fact, I can save a little bit every month.

Some of my experiences have been very good, and one in particular is awful, and not over yet. I had two debts to BofA, and for some reason, NLLG closed the case on my second account, without my knowing from NLLG or FDR what had happened. I tried 7 times to contact FDR and got no resolution. I have reported this to the Consumer Credit Protection Agency, and am awaiting reply.

Updated on 03/18/2020: I have seen improvements on the payments that they have made arrangements on. One is been paid off, and I got two months on another one. And then they are doing another one. It is about to start the process between May and June. I have been feeling good and positive about everything being handled. I get on the dashboard daily, and I like it that I get to see what is going on with the website.

I had over $10,000 worth of debt which I’m trying to get down. I saw Freedom Debt Relief up on the internet, looked over their website and saw what I liked. So far their service has been good. Every time I’ve called, they’ve always been nice and helped me out with whatever problems that I had. I’ve got five accounts closed out now and they’re working on the rest. I would recommend them.

Freedom Debt Relief seems to know what they are talking about and so far, they've been great. I still have a ways to go but they've kept me well-informed and have several of my debts in negotiations, and I'm paying them off. Whenever I need to contact somebody, they're always there to answer my questions. I've never had any problems with communication. Things seem to be doing all right except for one some time ago. I had gotten information about my Discover, saying that they were taking me to court. I haven't heard anything on that. So, I'm just taking that they're doing their due diligence and when it gets settled and everybody's satisfied, they'll notify me and let me know if I agree with it as they always do.

We live in the RV capital of the world and my husband and I were both in RVs. The RVs tanked since 2008 and stopped. We went from bringing home three grand a week to bringing home 300 bucks a week. I was also pregnant and I couldn't work, and my husband got let go. We lost everything. We had built back up, and it takes a long time to get built back up and get back on track. Then I got sick. They thought I had thyroid cancer and I ended up missing three months worth of work because I got septic. Before that, I didn't have issues. I actually had a pretty good credit score.
Freedom Debt Relief was there and they are helping to get it back on track to get the creditors to stop calling because that in itself is just stressful. We're not having to deal with those calls anymore and that makes it nice. We also had somebody that was gonna take us to court and Freedom Debt Relief did prevent us going to court. That was very good because we didn't have to take a vacation day or miss work to go to court. They took care of it on our behalf.
Freedom Debt Relief has been great. They prevented me from filing bankruptcy. I've already recommended them and they're helping my sister. The only thing that I'm dissatisfied about is the whole income thing. They did not explain to me that I have to pay taxes on any money that they saved me. They're supposed to help me do it and I'm gonna get a 1099 from each one of my creditors. Then I have to claim that as income. Now, I'm a little scared. Do I need to up my taxes being taken out of my check every week to maybe cover this or what? What if I have to pay them 10 grand? Nobody's giving me any real answers.
They are a little slow too. I had enough in there before they even made my first settlement. I could have paid out two of my credit cards which weren't huge ones. I understand that they're letting all my debt fall behind and that way, it forces the creditors to make a deal. But there were times that there was more than enough in my account to pay off a couple of the small ones and not make them get so bad, and Freedom Debt Relief just completely ignored them. That is a little bit disturbing because with the money I had in there, I could have paid that off, I wouldn't have had that on my credit, and I wouldn't have to pay taxes on it.
The more that we're looking at it, Freedom Debt Relief is not really saving me that much money because what they're doing is basically writing off the interest. I submitted something that's $800 then by the time they did a settlement on it, it looks like they saved me $1,500 but they didn't because I was making that payment and that payment was good. I was on time and they're the ones that let it get it that far behind before they try to do a settlement with them. They also didn't really work with me on a payment plan. They told me how much I had to pay, and I had to pay it. My payment is automatically deducted every two weeks so we make two smaller payments instead of one. Whenever they reach a settlement, they email me a settlement form then I have to approve it.

Updated on 04/08/2020: Customer service rep was very efficient and very helpful. We accomplished what we needed to do. Unfortunately as I have noted in other surveys, I am very unhappy with the percentage of the settlement discounted. Between your monthly fees and your settlement fees it is nowhere near the quoted possible 50% savings as you speak and advertise. This was now the third time we’ve had a settlement where I have felt that The settlement amount was not anywhere near expected when I signed on.

I was completely lied to about how this program worked. I was told all my debt would be paid in full within 6 months. That has not been the case. Then I get a message that I am eligible for a new program to pay off all my debt within 2 months with a similar monthly payment. I would not consider $138 more per month similar. I am so disappointed in this program. I wish I had NEVER signed up for this. My credit is ruined and I don't know that I will even be able to afford food with the new monthly payment. So yea...thanks for taking my money and screwing me over.

The process wasn’t explained well to me and I really regret signing up. The collection calls and threats are just too much for me. My phone rings off the hook all day despite notifying my creditors and changing my contact info to FDR. I don’t see my credit getting repaired for many years. I’ve dropped over 300 points. I was told not to worry about the negotiation fees as that was part of the $12 monthly fee that I’m paying turns out that will be a totally different payment which could be hundreds or thousands more.

I recommend Debt Relief as a method of recovering financial freedom. The process is slow but methodical and I must admit, that I am constantly asking questions about the process and timing and have always been treated courteously. I have been in the program for 10 months and FDR has settled 2 of my debts - I am hoping we can complete the process on or before the scheduled completion date.

So far I guess Everything is that to be expected. I honestly don’t know what I’m supposed to expect and I realize this is the beginning but I’m do know that I’m getting calls all day long everyday from 8 am - 10 pm Mon - Sun which is very annoying and they never leave any message of any kind, I hope that won’t last throughout this process and if so I will be changing my number so I’ll give it a little more time but I’m real close to that point.

The Freedom Debt Relief rep was very thorough and he explained everything to me. He gave me a thorough understanding of whatever the process would be and what I would have to do. They also worked with me on a payment plan. Once the program got started, it has been perfect since then. I haven't heard from him anymore because I haven't had an issue but any time there's a debt settlement through, they email me. I'll okay it and they go from there. If I have any questions, they're quick to answer. I called them one time about something and they were available to answer. I've been in the program for a little over a year. They said that it would take two and a half years, maybe three at the most. I have about three to four credit cards paid off almost halfway with three more, and then they still have to negotiate one more.

I was drowning in debt and not getting anywhere. Bankruptcy was not an option and I did not wanna go down that route. After researching, I thought that Freedom Debt Relief was the best company and the best fit for me. I also was extremely comfortable working with them. I was divulging my entire personal life to somebody I didn’t even know, but it was so much better than somebody that I did know. They worked with me and got me on a monthly budget that was doable. I’m one-third of the way and so far, everything has been great. They keep me in the loop with the monthly report and I can go look at my report any time and see where I am and what’s going on. I’m a single mother and I work three jobs to make ends meet. Using FDR is probably the smartest thing I’ve ever done and I’ve lost 15 pounds from less stress. I’ve recommended them to a friend.

My husband had a severe stroke and I kept him for almost 12 years. He was in a wheelchair and he couldn’t walk. All through the years, our savings during those did nothing 'cause everything you buy for a patient like that is very expensive. I used credit cards and credit cards and credit cards, and I just got in a big, big bind with credit cards. Freedom Debt Relief has helped me and I’ve already paid off several of them. It’s a good way to go and I would highly recommend them. Every time I’ve called, everybody’s been wonderful.
I'm wondering if I could do with paying a little bit less than what I’m paying ‘cause my insurances have gone up. I give Freedom Debt Relief $255 a month and I could use at least the $55 then just give Freedom Debt Relief $200. I realized the less I pay, it’s not getting my debts paid off but that $55 would really come in handy. They let me do it for three months, but then they said it had to go back to $255. I researched Freedom Debt Relief and it seemed like the best one around. I gave them my bills, they contacted the people, and they came to an agreement with them. I was then contacted to see if I agreed with it. My debt consultant was very controlling but I was very comfortable with him. FDR had to get an attorney and it was at no cost to me to work with this last one. I'll be with their program for four years and I will be done in April. I’ll be in a pretty decent shape when I get done with that.
99% of the time, Freedom Debt Relief was very good. But they had one screw up. The agreements they made with the companies I had a debt with were all good except for that last one. One of the companies contacted me and told me that if I paid $600, they would drop the $6,000 debt. I told FDR about it and they told me not to worry about it. They would take care of that. But they just made a deal with the company and I ended up paying $3,000. I was not happy with that. Whoever did that deal hurt me. I have the letters to prove what the company said and I sent them letters too. I didn't like the last deal that went down but otherwise, I would definitely recommend FDR.

I wish I had never signed up. I was lied to from the get go. I was NEVER told I could be sued. Got served papers with a threat to attach wages, place a lien on my home, there could be tax implications, the dreadful list goes on and on and on. My credit is shot, and now all of a sudden I'm only eligible for a C+ loan ripping me off at 26% interest (I now owe about$10,000 more than my original debt), which your company writes, paying almost $500 a month on. I've suffered anxiety for months due to this scheme I signed on to. I feel as if this is like a pyramid scheme of sorts. I'm trapped. Still thinking of bankruptcy and or hiring a lawyer. Also filing complaint with the BBB.

My husband read about Freedom Debt Relief on the internet. Interactions with their debt consultant have been bothersome and their program has impacted our lives horribly. When you sign up for their program, they really don’t explain to you about your credit score. There is no reporting of our payments to the credit bureau so our credit takes a way bigger hit. We could have done bankruptcy and we wouldn’t have been hit as bad as this. When I contacted Freedom Debt Relief about this, there was just kind of a runaround conversation and I got tired of listening to it. There should be someone that knows what they’re talking about and sums it to you better.
They don't work with you on your payment plan too. You send them the collection letter or whatever you received from the credit company. Freedom Debt Relief then just does it. They don’t communicate that much. That is pretty much it other than me making a monthly payment and them taking all their fees. Our credit score has bottomed out. And without a decent credit score, you cannot do anything.
Before doing this, our credit score was in the high 600. Now, we’re down to 523 at the best. We are retired and we rent. We want to go to a smaller place than what we are in now. But we can’t get anybody to work with us when they see our credit score. I don’t understand why payments aren’t being reported to the credit bureaus when we make this payment every month. We have even tried to print out the payments and take it to a Realtor. But they said it was not on the credit report. They won’t even look at it.

I was looking up some stuff for seniors on Facebook and they were talking about the Freedom Debt Relief for seniors. Since I'm a senior, I tried it out. The service I have with them is mostly for credit cards. There were some loans I had gotten but I was told I could not do the bank ones. I was told I would be in the program for 24 to 36 months. I've been with the company for at least six months now.
I've had a couple of different reps and I've had nothing but good things from them. My initial rep was very nice. He really tried to help me figure out what would be the best way to do this. Would I just maybe do bankruptcy? Would I do Freedom Debt Relief or just go through the credit card places and see what they can do for me? We sat down and he gave me all the options. That’s why I went with the Freedom Debt Relief. My payment plan was fine and it is better than paying each credit card every month.
The only thing is I am still getting calls from credit card companies that I've had Freedom Debt Relief take care of. They keep telling me I have to call Freedom Debt Relief and I did. I'm assuming they are getting in contact with the companies. One of the companies was telling me that they were gonna get a lawyer in and deal with me that way. Everybody is talking to everybody else but they are still coming after me. The company is just trying to get me to pay them right now. If they could see what my Uncle Sam is giving me, they would know that I can't pay that. Overall, Freedom Debt Relief's service is excellent. I still have debts with the bank. I have a car loan and a credit loan. Unfortunately, I'm still having to depend on my sister to help out. But I hope that in doing this with Freedom Debt Relief I would be able to kinda contribute more to the house and groceries.

Freedom Debt Relief had a good online result, which said that they were reputable. I'm a goal-oriented person so I was so stressed out over how messed up I got. Also, my business was off. I did what Freedom Debt Relief told me to do and it worked. It's almost done. I got six more months so it was a lot quicker than proposed. Everything's good.

I got so far behind on my finances being on a fixed income. I pay to that fund, my account thing, with Freedom Debt Relief and then they are negotiating with my creditors. If I had any concerns they were answered. I am always kept in the loop when there is a negotiation up, when they’ve struck a deal and do I agree with it. And I get notices as to when those payments are made. And if I don’t remember if I got that notice then I can always get online and doublecheck. Right now, it’s working out great because we went by what could I afford and what could not afford and how much less my payments are compared to what I was paying every month in credit card bills.
I love the service. It’s one less factor in my life, like credit card people and collections calling. I don’t need any more stress. Number one, I’m already a heart patient. So, I'm trying to keep from having a heart attack, and my dad’s health is failing. It was getting beyond what I can handle. I was literally getting sick and depressed. But now that they handled that part of it, I don’t have to deal with anybody. When I see a phone number I don’t recognize, I don’t even answer the phone.
I stopped using every credit card when I signed up. But in the beginning of April, I was out mowing all my yard and I live on a hill, and the brake went out on my lawnmower and I started rolling downhill backwards. My lawnmower turned over on me. The blades were still engaged and I was able to keep it from landing on top of me but in the process, when I hit the ground, I bounced and went face first into the side of a tree. I fractured my nasal bone and knocked out five teeth. So I had to get dentures, top and bottom. I had one credit card that I discovered that was still not recorded yet or they hadn’t done anything on. And then it’d been a emergency situation so I had to use it.
I tried to make a couple of payments on it because I didn’t want anybody thinking that I'm just gonna keep adding to it. Freedom called and asked me about it. They said, “They’re showing it’s still going.” I told them what happened and we’re not taking out to spend, it’s not being used, it’s already canceled, all that stuff. But I told them, “I did not wanna have to use it,” I said, “but emergency situation.” I tell anybody, “If you’re drowning, Freedom is who you need to call,” because it took away a big chunk of my stress. They work within your means and I picked the right choice being with them.

In the beginning, it was very rough. All the phone calls. Harassment from creditors. But, with the reading and videos that Debt Relief sent me. Kept me confident and before you know it. I got my first response from yous with a settlement and slowly the phone calls got lesser. I'm very happy with your team. I'm on my third settlement and getting closer to debt relief. Thanks.

I looked at Freedom Debt Relief online and it looked to be pretty good. Their rep was knowledgeable and ready to give an explanation on how the program works. And even if I call in, they explain my questions and it's good for me. My payment plan was based on how much debt we had. I like that I don't have to pay the whole bill. The stress level is way down compared to where it was.

My husband had gotten laid off from his construction job, which really put us behind on everything and really put us in a bind. I checked into Freedom Debt Relief and they were the number one out of a lot of people. I was either gonna do the FDR or bankruptcy, but I didn't wanna do bankruptcy and I figured that they would be better. I wanted to see what I could do that would help me get rid of some of my debt and save my credit score as well. In the beginning, before I had gotten with FDR, it was just ongoing calls and harassment. I also kept getting court documents. I've been with FDR for almost four years now and everything has been wonderful. I keep up with my payments and on what needs to be done. And if I have any questions or anytime I've called, I've never had a problem with them.
FDR worked with me on my payment plan set up. Because with my accounts, it was more of me trying to pay each one of those debts and making more payments than money coming in. I wouldn't have been able to handle all that, but that was resolved and I am very grateful to FDR for getting me through it. I recommend them to everybody. I tell everybody that if they don't wanna go on bankruptcy, then go with FDR. They're the most reliable and they can help you. They are very good and they work with you.

I compared many debt relief companies and Freedom seemed to be pretty level. Plus everything they claimed seemed verifiable. Working with them got the creditors off my back. All the junk mails, solicitations and calls from creditors have ceased and that’s really what I need, not to mention that they’re doing what they should be doing. I’m finally solving my credit problem by paying all of these debts off. Then I’ll be able to start with a clean slate.
Freedom Debt Relief sends me emails once they've come to a settlement. They figure out how long a settlement is gonna take and what kind of payments they’re making. Then they give me all the information and I either agree or don’t agree. If I don’t agree, they move on and try to do something else. They’re on top of it and it seems like as long as I make my payments, they’re constantly trying to make deals with the creditors that I have in the program. In fact, they’ve already gotten settlements with three of the six and it’s only been a couple of months.

I did not want to declare bankruptcy. I had a lot of personal things happen and a lot of medical issues. I liked the reviews on the internet for Freedom Debt Relief. Their service has been excellent and I was quite pleased with how they handled everything. They have been very upfront and my rep was good. I've been with them for about a year and a half. I have one more account to be completed and I should be done soon. My experience has been very good.

I’ve been with FDR for almost a year with 3 settlements and two left to be settled. I’m very pleased with customer service. I’ve had a few bumps along the way with an aggressive creditor but NLLG took care of everything. I absolutely can’t wait to have this behind me and be debt-free.

I'm satisfied with my experience with Freedom Debt Relief. I had three credit cards that had gotten out of hand. They have now been settled and I'm on my way to recovering my good credit. I wouldn't give it a full 5 stars as the communication between companies was lacking (each company would contact me for things that had already been e-mailed back to them.) Also, it took longer than expected. But maybe this was a normal amount of time.

I would like a few more updates during the process. Everything else has been great. Great savings on some of the accounts. My largest account however I will have to pay the full amount, which was a little bit of a disappointment.

In just 8 months this company has negotiated very good settlements with businesses that were part of my enrolled debt. I am very pleased with their work on my behalf. I sleep much better now, and I feel so much better. In the previous 2 1/2 years I have had colon cancer and surgery to remove a portion of my colon. Then about 10 months later I underwent a double heart bypass surgery, developed vertigo and fell and broke my arm. My arm is still healing. I am so grateful to Freedom Debt Relief for removing the stress that comes from poor health and tremendous debt.

A 21% fee for the enrolled debt is way too high. FDR settles debts fairly well. Except if you get sued, then you’ll probably end up paying the entire debt plus the horrendous accrued interest, which will end up higher than the enrolled amount in the beginning. And National Litigation Law Group is not worth paying for, as they will probably just go along with your creditor’s guidelines for settlements after they have filed a lawsuit.

Process works but not nearly as fast as they make it out to. Was given an estimated date of completion. But will not be anywhere close to that when I am actually finished with the program. Be patient and don’t get your hopes up it will be over fast.

FDR has been with me every step of the way. I had water damage all through my house. The insurance company paid but only the depreciated amount. The rest was up to me. My credit cards went up and I’m on a fixed income. I turned to FDR for help and so glad I did. Thank you FDR.

Everything was going great on negotiations. Until I got summoned. They sent NLLG to help settlement.But got back to me that I would have to pay an additional 165 towards my Freedom Debt.Which I am already paying 300 month. After responding back to NLLG telling them I can not afford to pay more what I can only afford to pay. They said they are unable to help me to get back with Freedom debt. This is the reason I am paying freedom debt 300 to help. So now I have to fill a response to Bank of America Why can not settle with them. I will give more feed back on how the settlement ends with BOA. But until now That's why I am giving them a 3 star.

I'm okay with what Freedom Debt Relief is helping me with because I wouldn't be able to do it on my own. My fiancé didn't want me in any more debt and just wanted me to pay them off.
