My daughter had done a debt relief program and I had talked to her. She told me it'd be a good thing if I go ahead and get all my debt paid off. So, that's what I'm doing and I'm in a program with Freedom Debt Relief for my credit card. I'm disabled and it's just where I don't need the credit cards and I should've known better. I started working with FDR in January or February. I got 2 or 3 consultants and they're really good. They let me know what's going on all the time, so I can get everything taken care of.

Freedom Debt Relief is helping me alleviate a lot of the debt that have happened unexpectedly. My kids were still in high school and I didn’t want them to assume the debt, so I took on everything myself and it just threw me in a vicious cycle of debt. I’ve been stressing on it. When I talked to Freedom Debt Relief, they made the process easy and helped relieve a lot of the stress fear of it. It’s been a huge relief. Their reps talked to me about my case and went over what options I have and what I can do, and then went through to see if things would work for me. We usually correspond through email ‘cause I work a lot but when we have talked on the phone, they’ve been positive on what they can do and pretty thorough on information. Any questions I’ve had, they’ve been able to answer.
I have a girl friend who is considering them and she has held off because she doesn’t know enough about them. So, I told her that I had been using them now an so as other friend of ours who both said that they had excellent results. I also told her that I had been having an awesome time with them and that it might be something she would want to consider.

I could not be anymore happier than being able to solve my irresponsible ass. There was a time that I took a risk and it's a very heavy burden I was carrying. I researched and call BBB to make sure that this is a legit place. I am a person that don't jump into anything unless I have done my researches and called BBB for any businesses that is online. Yes! I know this is not an easy step for me, I was broken into pieces because I do not want to look like I'm irresponsible, but with them I found a total relief it is truly a hard decision to make, however it has been the best one I have done for myself. To be able to feed yourself and actually not neglect my debts are serious commitments with them.

I was just overwhelmed with credit card debts after my wife and I had Hospital stays. I never had past due bills until now! I contacted their office. They set things in motion. I called around and talked to Freedom Debt Relief. I felt they were on the up-and-up. The first rep I talked to, Brad, was wonderful. He explained everything to me very well and so I decided to go with them. He was really the reason that I went with them. They went to the people that I owe money to, got them to take a lower price and helped me pay off my debts faster. They talked to me about how much I could do and how much I would need to do to get as many debts as I had. At first, I was still working and I said I’d pay every other week because I got paid every two weeks. Now, they take it twice a month. So, they split it up so it won’t be so much for me. I'm going on the second year now with them and I’ve had four accounts closed so far. My experience with them has been very informing and very good. I’ve been very pleased with them.

My friend has a program with Freedom Debt Relief so I also went with them. I had no problems when I had the consultation and the process of getting into the program was not difficult. While I haven’t talked to the representatives that much and they don’t call that much, they were helpful at the time I talked to them. I felt comfortable and they also worked well with me for the payment plan. They provide good customer support too.

Everything is going okay with Freedom Debt Relief. I've been working with them for nine months now and they said I'd be in the program for three years. So far, they’ve already fixed three of my credit cards. I just had to take my Target card off of it because they subpoenaed me, and they wouldn’t settle. Target wanted me to pay in full. I reached out to the attorneys with the program and they said that I’d either have to pay in full or declare bankruptcy, that Freedom Debt Relief didn’t have enough funds to take care of that Target card.
So, I got Target off of that account. And now, I’m doing payments directly to Target because I did not wanna go to court. Things worked out, anyway. I just had to do it my way since they didn’t wanna wait for the debt to go through FDR. Even so, FDR's service has been great as well as the debt consultant. He always gets back with me as soon as possible. When I got the summon, they called me that afternoon, and the next day, it was already faxed to the attorney.

My previous debt relief company was charging me too much interest 'cause they did a loan. So I did my homework and tried National Debt Relief first. They were pretty good but when I looked at the reviews, Freedom Debt Relief came on top and decided to give them a chance. The rep gave me specific things that he was gonna talk about if I had to make adjustments. He also briefed me on how long this program would last and I'm very proud that I'm getting there. I see progress so I'm very happy with Freedom Debt Relief. I had two credit cards and the other one was with New Credit America who already knows that I'm with FDR so I haven't had any issues. FDR worked out a budget that would fit my price range. They also fixed up my assets and so far, everything's been going well. I'm getting close to retiring and I don't wanna have any more debt. But my car is almost paid for so in two years, I'll be debt-free.

I was offered a 50% settlement by Discover that your team either ignored or didn't bother to negotiate. I was later sued by them and now have to pay the full amount & increase my bi-weekly withdrawal by $100 (almost 25%). It was difficult enough to make the payments as they were the & the fact that you dropped the ball on Discover doesn't give me hope that you'll do any better on future negotiations.

I got credit card debt and Freedom Debt Relief was recommended to me by somebody else. The rep who assisted me when I signed up did a good job and he stayed in contact with me until we got it all worked out. The payment plan that they gave me was the best to be expected at this time and so far, their service has been okay. But they keep wanting to add to the account, but I’m not gonna increase it. They said they found something else they wanna add to it, but I can’t afford to increase it and it has to stay like it is right now. I don’t care what else comes up.

From first contact to the payment plan was a remarkably short space of time.. days. One should have the creditor reports handy as Freedom Debt Relief jumps on it. The plan was quickly in place, but more than that they had contracted the creditors and sized them up for the problem areas. These guys are excellent negotiators. Their customer service is great and very accommodating. I would recommend them to anyone that has debt. My only issue was it took them a long time to settle my last debt. My graduation date kept being pushed back. That was a little frustrating however they did a great job settling the debts themselves. They were able to settle for at least 40% of what I actually owed. Thank you!

We have Freedom Debt Relief taking care of our credit cards. Everything is going all right. We've had them for a couple of years now and they’re doing what they’re supposed to be doing. We’re satisfied. We should have just over a year left with them. My kids all said, “Mom, why didn’t you try to do something before you went into that?” But we had already done it so we weren’t gonna back out. We were just trying to get ourselves out of debt. We owe so much right now, between Freedom Debt Relief and a couple of other things. We both have cancer and we struggle day-to-day. But at least once we get this paid off, it would be better for us.

I read good things on the Better Business website about Freedom Debt Relief. I saw a lot of advertisements about them, and for some reason, they seem to me like the ones that are the best and the most known in the field. They’re very efficient, knowledgeable, and they pay attention to detail. But I’m paying a lot of money into it every month, and the transparency is not clear. For example, I get notified when there is a settlement because I have to acknowledge the settlement. But I’m paying money into it every month, and I don’t know where exactly the money goes.
Freedom Debt Relief takes something for their services, but I don’t know where the rest goes. I don’t know how it’s split up. That is not really transparent there. Working with Freedom Debt Relief has made my life easier because first of all, the banks don’t call me every hour anymore. And then the ones that continuously call, I just block them on my phone. They tried to call me at work, and I made them aware that it’s against the law to call me at work. And so, they have stopped.

The reps at Freedom Debt Relief were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Freedom Debt Relief didn't seem shady at all. It seemed very upfront and very honest. But I didn't feel like I really understood well the part about how I may be taxed on the part that’s forgiven. I wasn’t really clear on that when I signed the contract, but that was the only thing that I didn't feel that I was really informed about. But it was fine. I have recommended friends to Freedom and they’ve signed up.
Getting into Freedom Debt Relief's program lowered my credit score right away. And even the little store credit cards that I didn't even have a balance on, they lowered my ability to charge or closed my account. It would've been nice to keep my JCPenney card if my kids needed school clothes because not having a credit card is difficult. All I have is my bank card, which I get paid once a month as a teacher. So if by the end of the month, I don’t have any money in my account, then I’m done. I’d have to figure it out. Other than that, Freedom has been great.

Everything has been okay so far with my consultant at Freedom and I'm satisfied. They came up with a good payment plan for me.

I called a guy in Freedom Debt Relief and both my son and I listened to what he had to say. I liked what he had to say and I liked the part where I didn't have to pay all my bills. I just had to pick 3 accounts that would be set up for debt relief. I'm 81 years old, had fallen into a scam, and I kept thinking, "Well, is this a scam?" But anyway, I went ahead and joined. I gave all the information to the gentleman I spoke with over the phone and I didn't find any problems with the application process. Then, everybody I have spoken with at FDR has been great. Sometimes, I would feel that, "Am I doing the right thing?" and they seem to ease my mind.
The payment plan is convenient for my budget. In fact, I get a Social Security check towards the end of the month, which is my bigger check, and I try to put in another initial amount along with the amount that FDR deducts. So, I give a little extra sometimes. I've been in the program since March or April, and they said the process would take about 3 or 4 years. I have settled one and they're in the process of settling two other ones at this point. All in all, I'm happy for this.

Freedom Debt Relief's service has been excellent. Their reps get on things quickly and my interactions with them have been very easy and very cordial. So far, they're providing me with connections with my banks and I have three secured banks that I'm paying off right now. I wish they didn’t take so long, but that’s the way it is. Other than that, they’ve been very helpful to me and the payments have been very easy to make.

Slow to start on some debts and I am paying back almost as I started with and some added a lot of interest and almost took to court and my credit score has continue to decline. I am really pleased with legal, but wish that part could have been avoided. I have some misunderstood actions how system works.

The biggest and best reason for using FDR is the peace of mind. No hassling calls from debt collectors, the light is very clear at the end of the tunnel, and the burden is lifted from my shoulders. I still am paying my debt off but at a lesser and affordable system. And in two years I will be debt free. Totally debt free.

No matter if I call or chat once a day or once a month the answer I am given is always different. I can't understand why the matter is not handled. The issue is on 2 of my accts. One that is already paid but not showing resolved and the other I ended up having to call and get the information needed to get it resolved and sent to you. Then they tell it will be another 30 days before you all try to get a settlement on that acct.

I was trying to get all of our debt out so we could get our credit rating back up. Freedom Debt Relief had the best reviews online and everybody seemed to think that they did a really good job and worked with the consumer very well. I've been with them for almost two years. We talked to their rep when we first started and then I'd get contacted via text when they were getting the settlements approved. They gave me a suggestion to see if I could afford the payments and they told me when they could automatically withdraw amount on my account. Then we set that up when I get paid, and the payment is manageable, so it worked out good. Everything has been really smooth. But my credit rating is crap and I can't get approved for anything. Other than that, I don't have any more debt. They've finished all the settlements, but I still have to make all my payments with them.

I had a really good experience with my reps at FDR. They were very polite and explained to me what was going on. Every time they get ready to pay a creditor off, they let me know. They have to have my permission first and they call and ask about that. Thus far, the program has really helped. I don't get calls anymore and I don't try to stretch out my money to pay everybody.

We received something in the mail about possibly getting a loan and when I called to try to get the loan, we didn’t qualify. But the girl said that we could qualify for consolidating our debts. So, we did that and it has definitely helped us financially. It’s just that we continue getting calls from those creditors, requesting the money. We’ve told them that we’ve turned them over to Freedom Debt Relief and that it’s out of our hands now. But they don’t listen and they still call us three or four times a week.
The Freedom Debt Relief consultant that we dealt with was wonderful. My mom was given a perfect payment plan. So far, FDR already settled with Community Bank. So, that’s the first step, which I have a hard time explaining how this work with my mom. She doesn't understand. She said, "When we pay, they take the money out. Once they get so much in there, why can't they just go ahead and pay the bill off?” I told her that the creditors will settle with FDR and even showed her how much lower the amount they settled for on the Community Bank. I explained to her that they were gonna take five payments of whatever it was. But trying to explain to my mother is like talking to the wall. Still, everything is going great with Freedom Debt Relief. I’m glad we got set up with them.

My daughter had a friend that used Freedom Debt Relief and was very happy. On my daughter's suggestion, I signed up with them too. Everything has been excellent and I’ve been very pleased. It's getting closer and closer to our graduation date! I just want to say, not only did Freedom Debt Relief helped us to reduce our total credit card totals by over 60%, they gave us the freedom to once again start planning our future and our next home purchase! Representative was very helpful and aided me in resolving my matter. My only issue overall is the lack of resolution with one creditor (Discover Card). Difficulty with negations surrounding this company should have been stated upfront as I have not included this in my agreement for assistance.

At Freedom Debt Relief, I got confused because I have one bill that was almost paid and all of a sudden, the bill is back up to the whole balance 'cause they said I didn't have enough in my account to pay it off. I don't understand it and it's like paying twice. I wasted any savings and I won't tell anybody to use their service.

My credit was not that bad and I was not behind on my payments, but it was getting difficult keeping up. I was making a payment, then using the card. My daughter passed away last year, so I have had a lot of anxiety in my life anyway. I thought Freedom Debt would help me with my trying time. Little did I know they don't even try to pay off any credit cards until after months of late fees and over the limit charges are added. They increased my debt so far by over $12,000.00!!
I am getting phone calls and letter constantly and this has caused me such anxiety and totally ruined my credit worse than ever!! Then they told me about their "sister company" could give me a loan to pay it off immediately. I was so excited until I realized it was at 25% interest rate and would cost me $600 out of my bi-weekly $1,100 check!! As it is, they take almost $500 now. I told them I couldn't give them any more. My husband is retired and I have the only income. I do not recommend them!!

I have to say, at first I was skeptical of this actually working. However when I finally made the phone call back and submitted all my debt, it has been so easy. Within the first four months I had my first settlement, it felt great! I'm now 8 months in and onto my second settlement. If I get any phone calls or mail pertaining a credit card, I immediately send to FDR and they are quickly on it. I would definitely recommend doing this to anyone that needs help becoming debt free!

The gentleman I was working with seemed like he knew what he was doing, and I was sort of impressed. There was no risk. I can always cancel. But I’ve been with Freedom Debt Relief for at least five years. Everybody has been very helpful. Once in a while, you get a service rep that doesn’t know what you’re talking about, but you can just ask to speak to someone else.
I had a lot of credit card debt, and I was retiring. I didn’t have enough money every month to pay it. Financing it through Freedom Debt Relief, a lot of the cards have been closed and settled. We worked out on a reasonable amount that I thought I could pay for, and if I can’t, I can call them and skip off a month or two, which I’ve done. I go on the website and check my number, and so far, I have no complaints. I have recommended Freedom Debt Relief.

I was very pleased with the first rep I worked with at Freedom Debt Relief. I ended up being transferred so I didn't get to deal with him but the lady who took over the case was very knowledgeable and polite. Working with FDR has simplified things quite a bit for me. Freedom Debt Relief provided a debt reduction program over a certain period of time and their reps were able to provide a very comfort attitude to me. They’ve had a lot of experience and they’ve been very proactive. I've agreed to the payment plan that they've given me. I started in April and I made six payments. I have three creditors that have agreed to a settlement. I’m still getting a lot of phone calls because there’s a number of other creditors that they haven’t reached an agreement with, but it’s moving ahead as scheduled. I would recommend Freedom Debt Relief if you’re in a situation like I was in.

I’m not really sure what or if anything on my account is being paid off.. I keep getting bills, phone calls and emails from my creditors with a lot of interest being tacked on to my balances and I’m scared. I went through a divorce and took on my ex-husband’s debt, which I shouldn’t have done. I couldn't sleep at night because I couldn't make the payments and he wasn’t making child support payments. Somebody ended up calling me in the morning and it was one of those junk mail calls. They were trying to consolidate but they couldn't do it so they ended up giving me Freedom Debt Relief's number. I called them and I’ve been able to sleep. It’s been good so far. It’s been a breath of fresh air.
Things were just building up really badly. There had been times I was not able to make the payment. But Freedom Debt Relief has been workable. They’ve been friendly, understanding and they listened. That’s the main thing. I’m just really hoping that I can get some extra income and kinda speed up the program. I was in a 30-year marriage where my ex-husband did everything including the bills so I didn't have that kind of experience. He didn't believe in a woman working outside the home. But I’m learning this. Even though you have a $1,000 credit and even if you pay it off every month, it doesn’t build your credit. It just made me aware of just the whole debt thing. I have recommended Freedom Debt Relief to some people who are in the same boat.

In the beginning, I had a particular Freedom Debt Relief counselor and she was awesome. I got another guy and he’s good. All my questions are answered. They send regular emails keeping me up to date on the progress, and I have easy access to my portal so that I could see what’s going on. I’ve been working with them for a year and I got a call from a guy who tried to get me hooked up with a loan to pay it all off right away, to negotiate. So, I’ve gone through all of the process but I haven’t heard back on whether or not that’s happening. Freedom Debt Relief made my life a lot easier. I’m still having to deal with some of the creditors calling and saying I’m late. I explained to them what I’m doing and gave them all the information for FDR. Not worrying how I’m gonna pay my rent is awesome because they’re working with me and financially, I’m in a better place now.

The rep at Freedom Debt Relief with whom I spoke to was really thorough. She gave me a sense of hope. They provided me a service wherein I had every unsecured debt I had bottled into one. The rep told me that I had to be patient as my credit will take a hit. Everything she said was true but at the same time, the service was still doing what it was supposed to. She prepared me and didn't try to hide it. Since then, I'm already feeling a big difference. Their program is definitely a good fit. I would recommend this type of program for anybody that's really struggling to be debt free.

Freedom Debt Relief was the only one I gave the shot to, and they could help me out, so I chose to go with them. We were in a bind and, fortunately, they got us out of that bind. Everything is going good so far. The first 2 consultants who I worked with have a level 10 professionalism as they would check in with me, while the last one is on a level 8 'cause I haven’t heard much from her. But it's just a difference in personalities. They contacted me yesterday to try to get authorization for the final settlement so we’re just one away. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the quality of service from Freedom Debt Relief.

I was never told that I had to do all the submitting of all the court papers to you and a lawyer when I first signed up. I called every time I heard from a creditor and was told not to worry about it. Then I got served and because after a year with your company this creditor was never notified by you. Then when I called to find out what to do, I talk to three different people who steer me ln wrong directions. I am very unhappy with this company right now.

Everything is going good with Freedom Debt Relief until we just had a company that is not negotiating and is suing me. They put a lien on my house and they’re taking me to court unless they get their full money. They just refused to negotiate. They also put a court order and I have to show up in court on the 29th. We went to the National Litigation people who work with debt relief and they asked me if I can pay $400 more a month to Freedom Debt Relief so they can pay this company out and pay $8,000 directly to the company. However, I’m 73, a 100% disabled, and have a very limited income. Today, the lawyers called at the same time and I must have missed them both, and I haven’t heard anything back, so I would be calling Freedom Debt Relief.

Freedom Debt Relief had good consultants and they were nice. The only thing I do not like about the program is the company takes their fees out first. Whichever debt gets settled, the fees come out first. I don’t think the fees should be taken out like that. That’s why my debt’s not being paid down. The person has no money to pay on the debt. In my case, I had nothing to work with when I was being threatened to be taken to court. I didn't like that part because I got on to the program so I wouldn’t have that happen to me. They told me that was a possibility but it usually didn’t happen.
We’re supposed to go to companies like Freedom Debt Relief to get out of our debt. The debt is our fault but we were referred to them in hopes of trying to get out of it. But all of a sudden they say you have no funds in there because they had to take their fees out first. I understand they need their fees and they have to pay their employees. But they should leave some money there so they can work with the creditors. Things are okay now that Freedom Debt Relief got everything settled but they had to up my monthly payment. That kinda hurt me. I got on to the program in the first place to keep my payments down. But I guess in order to take me out of court, they said they had to up the payment.

The gentleman apologized and asked me to try again with a direct statement in the email to contact me rather than my standard, "Please advise". He also talked me through an offer that was on the table for Capital One. I am not happy that the fees were not taken away as a part of the negotiation since that made the bottom line higher but he said that some companies aren't as likely to do that and that we would target some of the next ones for a better deal. I agreed to go ahead and authorize the settlement. Nothing was resolved in my call but he did talk me through it and just talking to someone at FDR was reassuring. It is disconcerting to send out communication and get only generic responses. Hearing threatening things from creditors is truly upsetting when you have always paid your bills no matter what. I just need some personal touches to make this go well!

Customer service is very friendly. However, I did exactly what they told me to do...stop paying my enrolled bills. This got me sued twice. Settlements were negotiated but now my monthly payments to FDR are more expensive than before I joined the program. Of course, the settlements reduced my balances, but after a little investigating I found that with the FDR fees I'm not saving a penny. Like I said, my bills are even higher now. Then I was having trouble making these payments. They even sent me an email for me to authorize the missing payment. I DID NOT authorize it and, instead, called FDR customer service which was very friendly to help me suspend the next payment. Then, they took the payment anyway, which I did not authorize and which I was saving to keep my house from going into foreclosure. So, my mortgage payment was returned.
Luckily, I have a very reasonable and helpful mortgage lender that has agreed to work with me. That is in stark contrast to my experience with FDR. I wish I had never signed up for this. I pay more monthly and, with their fees, the savings on the balances will be minuscule, if not more. In my opinion, anyone considering FDR should run away as fast as you can. I wish I had just filed a chapter 11 or 13, whichever was available to me. It would have been so much cheaper and easier. This is the biggest financial mistake I have ever made. In my opinion, anyone that enrolls with FDR is also making a huge mistake. I wish I could give less than 1 star, something like a -1000.

Original review: Because of poor business decisions, I found myself overwhelmed with debt. I was to the point of bankruptcy. After much prayer Freedom Debt Relief kept popping up. I talked with them, and felt this was the better option. I'm so thankful I chose FDR. Their customer service has been wonderful. The first agent I talked with was very patient with my numerous questions, and helped me fully understand how the program works. They estimated with my payments and debt, I would be in the program 3 years, but after the negotiations of my accounts, I will be debt free even sooner. Updated on 07/20/2021: In the beginning, it was hard to adjust to seeing all my credit and my accounts closed. It felt like the end of the world. This process was very hard for me and my family.. Then after making monthly payments for one year along with couple extra payments.. I notice two of my credit accounts were paid off. Then by the second year I started paying biweekly was better for me and my family. I was able to get 3 more settlements offer. This wasn’t no cakewalk for me or my family. We had to be so disciplined to make it this far. My family and I are looking forward to FDR graduation package this year. We completed this program in 24 months.., instead of 48 months.
I would like to thank staff for answering all my phones, client dashboard text and being there for me. Especially when I got bad notices in the mail from lawyers and banks. The client dashboard was my favorite friend. Anytime I got a notice I would upload to my account and send to my Freedom dashboard. Anytime I was in a pickle, I needed help to change my payment amount I would always reach out to them for help.. I learned from this experience. By taking this Life lesson. This program taught me about credit and how important credit is to getting a good paying job. Along with buying a house, insurance rates and good interest rates on all loans. I recommend FDR to anyone who needs help with a-lot of credit card debt. This company has my stamp of approval.

After my husband died, I ended up taking my daughter and three grandkids in and things got all kinda helter-skelter. I had seen Freedom Debt Relief online and checked into it. I called and spoke to the salespeople and I thought that that would be a good start for me to get stuff done. Although I was never behind on anything, I thought that if I could structure something, then I’ll have it. For me, it took a lot of emotional pressure off because they knew and I didn't have to do six payments. It was all here in one. But now, I feel that I got screwed and stupidity-bearing, I wouldn’t recommend FDR. A loan company called and they wanted to take all my balances and put it into one loan and instead of having the installment coming out of my check every month, I would have the payment through them.
FDR has already charged me 25% on everything that they’ve settled. They take their 25% off the top, but I wanted to get out from a number of things. I had enough money when I spoke to them the last time to clear everything except the one that they had just had me sign off, which they had negotiated down. I gave them a stash of money and it was there for them to pay off all the others. Instead of paying off things that they had already negotiated, they didn’t and they let the stuff string along.

I lost my husband and now I’m a widow. It’s hard to get a grip on things and I was reluctant to sign up with Freedom Debt Relief. I thought it was too good to be true, but they helped out my son and after I talked to him, I called them. They said they could help me, so I was elated. So far, I have three accounts that are resolved, and I have 3 or 2 in the making. There’s a little transaction that's going on right now that they have me being resolved on three accounts, and it’s only showing two. FDR is on top of it though and they said they were gonna get back with the parties. In other words, the payment was made, but they just hadn’t posted yet. After these accounts, I have five more to go. All in all, I’m very impressed and I would definitely recommend them.

I am now about a year in the debt relief program of FDR for my credit cards. I did the application online and it was easy to fill out. The consultants let me decide whether doing the program was right for me or not. They didn’t push. Then, the payment plan I was given is within my budget and it’s really good. So, I don’t have to struggle to pay all the payments and everything’s easier.

My sister went with Freedom Debt Relief and told me how good it was. So, I called them up and I went with their program too. I had interactions with the debt consultant before. I was told to mail the bill to them if I got one. So, that’s what I did, but I'm not getting bills anymore. They told me they would take out x amount of dollars, and they do it on the 5th of every month. So, they’re good about that. In fact, I’ve recommended them to a few people.
I've been into their program for a year now and so far, they've gotten rid of two and I got a lot more and something else. The company evidently wouldn’t do what FDR wanted them to do, so it’s taking me longer. But FDR is doing a good job, overall. I appreciate what they’re doing for me. So far, my FDR experience has been beautiful. It sure took a lot of stress off of me. I just wish it would get done sooner.

I’ve been with Freedom Debt Relief coming up to a year or so. We put a chunk of money in there. We still have two debts that are not settled, so I've been on them once in litigation. But with them, I don't have one person. It's whoever called or whoever if I called in, and there’s difficulty in getting things done. Different people tell you different things. It depends on who you talk to, so it's frustrating on a consumer level. Another question I posed to them was how much longer will I have to work with them and I didn't get a very definitive answer. It’s frustrating and I’m not used to that.
Working with them on the payment plan is not the greatest, but it is what it is. We're making it work. They did do a split, so that was good, but based on what I understood from the beginning, it didn't all transpire. I was told it'll be reduced but they've said they won't reduce it. Once again, A says one thing, B says one thing, and C says another. We were also gonna make a substantial deposit into our account, and one person said, “You can't do it over X." Yet another person was like, “That's not true. You can do X and Y." It's been the worst experience ever and I can't wait for it to be over. Freedom Debt Relief should train people all the same, to give the same answers.

I'd run into unexpected expenses from increasing my familial responsibilities and medical expenses. I struggled from paycheck to paycheck, at times not making it without the use of credit cards. Although I was making payments, it was only the minimums and sometimes unable to meet that. I knew I couldn't make it and the depression of not being able to make it weighed heavily. After checking multiple sites, including BBB, I found that FDR had the best ratings. After talking to them, I knew why. They were friendly and understanding. They were non-judgmental and supportive.
I've just started with the monthly payments but even that has brought me a huge relief. I'm able to breathe. Thanks to FDR, I'll get my debts paid off in less than 4 years, I've even included my parents debt as they are elderly and their debts would become mine eventually so with the help of FDR, I can have everything taken care of and my parents, who are in their 80s, can be worry free. I cannot thank FDR more for helping me be able to pay off my debts and start to save for my retirement.

Seems Freedom Debt Relief is charging too much fees which causes burden on payee. They should help the customer rather than charging too much fees into their account and make them pay. They had $5000 negotiation and charged $2500 fees.

All of a sudden, it looked like we were not gonna make ends meet, which was quite a shock. We looked around, found Freedom Debt Relief and called them. I also talked to several people, but the FDR guy I talked to immediately put me at ease, did not talk down to me, and made more sense. I felt more comfortable with him by his attitude on the phone. He sounded like a great person and I’d love to meet him. So, I went with them and the quality of service I received was excellent. Sometimes, the program was a bit slow, but then I looked at it and I was not paying much into the account. And when I called to question things, I got sensible, reasonable, and understandable answers. Also, if I had a problem, they'd look into it and get back to me. So far, we sold one of the two cars so we wouldn’t have to pay notes and insurance. We have tightened belts as well and we don’t charge anything anymore. But since working with FDR, things have gotten better.

My mom and my sister used Freedom Debt Relief and my mom referred me to them. I had gotten in a car accident then I had a baby and got behind with all my credit cards. I just couldn’t make my monthly payments and I couldn’t get caught up on everything. I went with Freedom Debt Relief's consolidation program of my debt. I make one payment every other week and that’s used to negotiate and reduce the amount of debt that I actually have to pay off.
The rep that I worked with is great. He’s very kind. I did the is-this-for-me type of thing on the website, and he reached out via email then gave me a call. He’s very personable and seems to have quite a bit of knowledge. There was a little bit of confusion in reference to the referral bonus that my mom should have gotten, but it was made clear as to why that didn’t work out. Every time I called, the interaction that I have with the representatives is super professional. They’re always very polite and always very helpful. I’m very impressed with the quality of their service.
Freedom Debt Relief has been very flexible with me. I signed up for the program right before I had my baby last year. My income was probably a third of what it could have been while I was off on maternity leave for four months. During that time, my payments were down to $10 every other week. They were able to significantly reduce it to be able to keep me protected by their program, but being able to work within the means that I had available. It’s just been over the last three to four months that I’ve been able to make the full amount of the deposit every other week and they’ve been able to negotiate. I have 3 out of 7 that are negotiated so I’m almost halfway. Thus far, life has been a lot easier with Freedom Debt Relief. I’ve recommended them to everybody that had problems.

Freedom Debt Relief seemed to be the one that had the best to offer among other companies. Their representative was very good and helpful. I was impressed with the lower payments and being able to get everything taken care of. They also keep me updated constantly and I always know what’s going on. I’ve got a website that I can go to and check everything every so often, see what’s been paid off and what they are still working on. It’s been a year and a half and everything looks good so far and my credit scores are coming up.

After both my wife and I retired, and we’ve had so many charge cards we had to get rid of. We started with Freedom Debt Relief in March of this year and my graduation date is November 2023. I had some questions when I first started, and they were very helpful in getting it all done. And anytime I get an email from one of the creditors, I just scan it in, or I forward it to them. They take care of it and say, “Don’t worry about it. We got it.” They settled one already, and then they’re working on two more right now. As soon as this next month, the first of the month, we will have another one finished and then they’ll work on the next one. Then, there’s still six more to go.
We were paying minimum, then we maxed it out again. We're on paycheck to paycheck, and FDR has really helped us. It's very good quality of service. I wish it could go faster, but we’re paying a whole bunch of state and federal taxes ‘cause of some wonderful remodeling we did on our house. We took it off my wife’s 401 and now we're being taxed. Everything's going good with FDR and I love working with them. I don’t have as much stress as I used to when trying to pay bills. In fact, I already told my brother what we were doing, and he said he was gonna check into it too.

Freedom Debt Relief made the whole process, from set up to marching right on through, so well-scripted and well-thought-out. It's amazing how good the program really is. It's been a great experience. They said that we were gonna be debt free in four years. They did all of their planning and the calculations based on 48 months. We're about 2/3 of the way through the program, and now, every time I talk to somebody about it, it's very, very vague when the program is gonna end. I know that they're legally bound not to fudge numbers, but this vagueness is pissing me off. When I ask them if they have a reasonable and cogent answer, they tell me that they don't have a cogent answer for me at that time because there are several variables in there that they can't decide or discern at this particular time. It bothers me when the rep tells me that they can't tell what the truth is.
The plan was so well thought out and the young man that described it all to us was so good. He even got my wife to agree to taking out our credit score and put that in the toilet. So, he was really good. But as of late, I don’t use them because they can't answer the question that I have. I'd be happy to tell the wonderfulness of the whole deal. Their concept is very realistic. We were $95,000 in debt and it was weighing us down and killing us, and Freedom Debt came along and it was a breath of fresh air. It took us from a terrible position of all those weight on our shoulders to a position of a game plan that was gonna play itself out. But it's a terrible way to run your business if you are unable to tell somebody any time in their term what their buyout is and that buyout needs to be close to what was stated to them in their contract three or four years ago.
I can understand a little variance here and there, but no answer is unacceptable. Nobody in the financial business world would accept that as an answer to that question. Freedom Debt Relief was so wonderful and perfect on their salesmanship, but they should have a real script as to how to answer that question. I started for four years and they got me going me into five. That’s a whole year with them. What's the deal here?

Freedom Debt Relief has been great. The consultant walked me through on a few things that didn’t get completely discussed with me that I didn’t realize was going to happen. But they said it would help my credit. It tanked me right at the moment, which I should’ve known it would at first. So, that was just a little misunderstanding. But other than that, it’s been pretty good. Any time I have a question, it usually gets answered within 24 to 48 hours, sometimes sooner. They were able to work with me on my payment plan and I've even upped it up myself. I’ve got a couple of stress that I’m still fighting with, but working with them has helped me a lot on other things.
