The service, getting my questions answered and reduction of debt during this short time is impressive. They are very knowledgeable and when requested more time was allotted for my monthly payment. They kept me up to date with progress that was made in eliminating the debt with the different creditors.

Has been good so far, no complaints, I would definitely recommend to others if they need help with their debt, so far Freedom Debt has been easy to work with, they will talk you through the process to file your claims, looking forward to getting paid off, that will be great.

They settle 2 of my debts within 1 month of starting the program and are already trying to settle another. I was doubtful about the whole thing but it's working and when I get the chance I do send in extra money to finish the program sooner to start to build my credit back up.

Freedom debt relief has withdrawn my first payment recently and I have noticed that in my dedicated account that I have a negative balance nearly -30.00 even though I gave up over one hundred dollars. I hope that one day this Freedom debt relief will begin to use the money that I have been sending for my debts. And then I will be even happier with Freedom debt relief.

I am very dissatisfied with customer service. I have been sued by Discover, and your lack of following up with your legal team, and following up with my questions regarding my deposit amount, to see if the settlement is feasible is frustrating. You take money for your service fees without earning it.

Estimate figure for program $ 17000.00 off. When you can’t afford monthly note this is not the program. $41000.00 Estimated finished at $57000.00. Forced to pay $2900.00 for 10 months plus monthly payment $720. Totaling $3620.00. Put in hardship no matter which way I would have went, but wouldn’t have to spend $57000.

I'm not even a month into the debt relief program yet, so we'll see how it goes. What I can say, is the time and patience and compassion that I received from the people at Freedom was amazing. I can't tell you the stress that was removed from my life by accepting their help. I hope the process remains this smooth.

I have been a client for about 5 months. FDR has only settled 4 of 16 accounts. They have charged settlement fees that seem to be extremely high. There is nothing in my dedicated account because they have taken almost half of every penny I have deposited for fees. 2 of the settlements were offered to me by the credit card companies before Fdr worked out the settlement. I could do this on my own and save a lot of money. I would not recommend others to do this.

I find that the settlement process is great but what FDR does not tell you is their fee for each dept is approximately the amount they negotiated. They tell you there is a fee for each settlement which is fair but they do not tell you how much. Each settlement is different, in some cases it's thousands. Basically, you are not saving a penny.

I was with Freedom’s program years ago, and I messed up. So, I went back in it and this time the experience has been good. The debt consultant helped me tremendously, and she explained everything thoroughly. They worked with me towards a payment plan that I was comfortable with.

Going through with this program would hurt my credit so I would rather handle things myself. I was not happy to see that this was another company than the original loan I had been pre-selected for and that I was sent to another shell company to have them apply recklessly apply to a bunch of places.

I had all of my creditors paid until I went with you. Now I has a judgement against me. Lawyers threatening me. Your fees are much higher than I expected. Just not happy. I have no idea when I will have everything paid off at this point. I received a call from your company letting me know they were trying to get a resolution to one of my creditors so they needed me to pay an extra $300 for two months. Where am I supposed to come up with that? Settlements are taking longer than I was told they would take and costing more.

I saw the reviews and I did my homework a little bit, and I felt like Freedom was a better option for me compared to the others. They helped in reducing the amount of the debt that I originally owed. Their reps explained how it works. They told me to stop paying off the creditors and I'll put my money in a separate savings account from the funds that I use. They'll use that to start negotiating with the creditors. Their payment plan is definitely awesome. I cannot complain about it.

I was promised that payment would not come out till the 15th of the month. The first payment came out early. I asked for the 15th to make sure Social Security is in the account. Instead it came out on the 12th. Please correct so it doesn’t over draw our account. Thank you.

I was happy with my program overall until I was sued by a creditor and left to fight them alone. While FDR claims they have a “Legal Partner Network” that they partner with should you be sued, they DO NOT legally represent you or respond to a lawsuit on your behalf. 🤯 I was sued by a credit card company, and was not informed that I (alone, with no legal assistance) needed to file an official response to the court, and appear in court alone. Should I not have asked so many questions, In would have missed my response deadline.

My first meeting with Freedom Debt Relief’s debt consultant was a positive experience—very friendly and thorough. After acknowledging the online ad, someone reached out to me directly for further discussions. They managed my debt consolidation well; I completed my first consolidation with them, but for the second, I didn't have enough funds. In such a situation, they suggested a loan with a sister company, which I was initially hesitant about. I preferred negotiations, but due to insufficient funds and the possibility of legal action, I went ahead with their advice. This wasn't ideal as avoiding more loans was my reason for reaching out to them initially.

I am incredibly pleased with FDR. It's been easier than I expected, and my debts are slowly being paid. By linking my bank account, my payment amount is automatically deducted every month. No more collector calls, which were driving me crazy. FDR is just an outstanding service, and I recommend it heartily.

The whole process of signing up was great. Since then I’ve sent a couple emails and have never received a response, which is quite frustrating. I don’t have time to call during the day, as I am at work. I have been inquiring about one of my creditors be placed at the top of the list and was told in the beginning that they would let the negotiators know but it doesn’t appear that way in my dashboard.

Once you're enrolled, you don't receive any customer service support on how to handle accounts being sent to lawyers etc. All they tell you is you have to wait until there's money in your dedicated account for them to reach out to your creditors, which in some cases can take years. Customer service reps are rude.

Freedom Financial didn’t settle a debt in time, even though I asked them to settle it first and had been using their services for over a year so I thought they had things covered. I ended up getting sued by Wells Fargo. They mentioned to me that Wells Fargo does this so it made me extra upset that they knew this was going to happen and didn’t do anything about it proactively. My baby is in the NICU born over 2 months premature and this is added stress I didn’t need to deal with and shouldn’t have needed to if they had done their job right from the beginning.

This is my second time with the program but for some reasons your team members provide many lies when I inquire about account negotiations. There is no transparency and a lot of misinformation about the negotiation process. For example I had been told several times that my large AMEX account was next for negotiations and at some point I was told that if I deposited more funds that account was next for negotiations, however the one that you negotiated was the small one and even today when I checked the dashboard I see that you have the big AMEX account as the last one on the list even though you have almost $8000 deposited in my account.

I feel it is taking way too long. 6 months to get one bank to agree to my smallest credit card is a long time. I expected a quicker response. You have 7000 dollars of my money sitting there where you charge me $100 a month for nothing. I was promised better execution.

I don’t like that $40 with fees came out of my deposit right from the start, and then $10 every month is a lot but otherwise, I’ll still have to see how everything goes with the settlements and then I’ll check back.

I received an email stating a figure had been reached with the creditor, I reviewed the offer and agreed to the amount. A few days later I received an email telling me how much had to be repaid monthly, I replied to the email and that is all that I had to do.

I am just getting started with the company. So far all I can say is great customer service. Since I am just starting no payment toward my account has been processed. Years ago I used a Debt Relief company and it was great. After all my debts had been paid off I even received money back. Hopefully this will work out the same.

I can’t get on my dashboard. It's not letting me get codes. Nobody seems to know how to get around something. Slow process to resolve the situation. I thought the process will be resolved when I sign contract with you. But it’s very, very slow process… I need urgency to resolve my situation. You send a many messages, but don’t resolve my problem. The company is very complicate to resolve simple situation.

My checking was taken from garnishment. I needed help what can be done. Basic things can't be done for 2 to 10 days and will lose all my money I put in already if I stop March's payment cause all my money plus my granddaughter money was taken also so we have no money to pay March and if it should try to go through I will have an NSF charge which I definitely can't afford.

I know I just started but FDR has already settled one of my cards already. So far I’m very happy with my experience. I was very nervous about doing this but they have answered all my questions and I’ve had to change a few things but now I think I’m on the right track.

I don't feel like I understand the program very well. My credit score dropped significantly. I am worried that these creditors are going to turn me over to collections before these debts get settled. Why does it take so long? Why are you settling the larger debts before the smaller ones?

My interactions with their debt consultants were informative; they told me about what the company was about as well as what I needed to do to sign up and how to go about doing it. I've had two cases so far that a lawyer had not shown up to represent me. This last case will only accept a full lump payment along with a judgment made against me. I signed up to get help and I don't know what to do now. This last lawyer got two cases mixed up.

I think your program is great, it is helping. One thing is I wished one debt was resolved before court, that way it would’ve been cheaper. Overall your program seems to be helping paying off my debt. Maybe not lower but it is paying off debt. So thanks for that.

Contacting you guys can be difficult. There's a point in your automated system it doesn't accept any answer no matter what button you push. I've had a hard time getting in contact with the guy that helped me set up my account. The process of taking payment was easy though.

What Freedom Debt Relief does NOT tell you when they are encouraging you to join the program are two very important things. First they say it will affect your credit slightly, wrong my credit score went from 725 to 400, then all my creditors whom I'd been in good standing with for years cut my available credit to $500 from a $19,000 available credit in my AMEX card which they told me to keep open. Then systematically my other creditors whom I'd weren't enrolled in the program started canceling all my cards. I'd never been late, all my bills were being paid on time, but I was drowning in debt. I knew I needed help, so it did do what they said it would do, they got debt forgiveness in all the enrolled cards.

The customer service agents have been knowledgeable and very courteous when answering my questions and dealing with my concerns. I have had several creditors who have been critical of the program and demanding either payment or working directly with their companies to resolve my payment issues, sometimes in a somewhat threatening manner. FDR's customer team has been invaluable in helping me handle such calls. I really appreciate the kindness and professionalism.

The FDR team is easy to communicate with and understands the issues I’m dealing with. Text messages and the app help keep me informed. Once I was able to explain the issues, your associates showed concern then reassured me. One issue is when adding additional creditors. The information I was given was to add it on the app. Bottom line- help is always available when needed.

Enrolling with Freedom Debt Relief was easy and quick, and they've been very efficient and helpful at settling debts. I've already settled two and working on the third. They get on it right from the get-go. Mostly, the communication is over emails or text messages, but they stay in touch with me and give me updates. They also have tutorials that people can take on managing their money and save it. I would recommend Freedom Debt Relief to anybody if they're having debt problems or if they have a lot of credit cards. They're a good company and I've not had any problems with them.

Only had 2 Lawsuits filed against me using this method! Not bad I suppose! 🤣 If you are in to lawsuits and that kind of thing, highly recommend! Otherwise my accounts that I signed up are settled. Oh and my credit is absolutely destroyed. They don't really make all of this clear upfront.

It is very frustrating to keep getting threatening phone calls and I keep telling them I am going through a hard time and I am trying to make payments but they don't care. This is the first time I have done this and I don't know if I made the right decision or not.

I thought this was going to be great but it wasn't. I asked how much would they take from my payments and they told me $9.95 a month. I was paying $376 biweekly and noticed that they were taking about $30 every payment. They made settlements for 3 of my accounts within the first month, which made me happy and excited. When I looked at my account again I noticed that more money was going towards fees instead of my settlements. I was never informed about any type of fees beforehand.

I just want to make my payment on time with a reasonable amount cause I’m on a fixed income and don’t want to have to pay fees and high interest. It will be easier for me to have Freedom Debt Relief to work with me and get these bills paid and I am not going to use anymore credit cards until these bills are paid.

I have tried to get ahold of the Gentleman I started with, he is a ghost or this is a scam. Don't mean to be rude or disrespectful, needed questions answered. Not a response to any of my calls. When we talked last he told me I would be getting a copy of the agreement and have yet to receive one.

FDR has provided all service as advertised and presented. As such, my cases have all been settled and now transferred to a consolidation loan. I am only disappointed that I did not utilize FDR first. I am only unsettled for utilizing another company first which did not honor as advertised.

I appreciate the time taken to explain all the details, and the time taken to help me understand my role and that of FDR. It was so helpful and in no time at all, I have been able to get mostly out of debt. The phone calls have ceased and the pressure relieved. It finally seems like life is coming back together 1 piece at a time and I am so thankful that FDR has helped to make it that way.

Troy was amazing as he explained all my options and worked with me to find the best choice. He was patient and attentive. He explained each detail for me and did not get irritated when I didn't understand something. He also explained my payments and explained the process in an easy to understand manner. I was looking at Discover card but that's coming up next so were in in a good coelom. I hope we go for the Walmart card next after that because I want to leave the other 2 for last.

They are going to save me a lot of money. I am very happy with my decision to let this company help me get rid of my high credit card debt without paying so much money in interest charges. The representative that helped me sign up for the program was very helpful and explained everything to me very well.

I just signed up for debt relief. My first payment is due is in February. I’m hoping that I can get all my debt cleared up within the time frame agreed. I was referring to by a friend and she is very pleased with Freedom. Thank you Freedom for making my life so much easier.

So far so good, the only annoying part for me is talking to the creditors and keeping them at bay until an agreement can be reached with them. FDR STAFF HAS BEEN PROFESSIONAL AND UNDERSTANDING WITH ME. I would gladly recommend them to anyone seeking financial relief from debt.

When I started out with FDR I told them I'm on a fixed income and what my living expenses were. They still insisted on an amount that made me not be able to eat. And they do not report to credit bureaus either so I'm paying a lot of money, way more than I can afford, to settle debts, to a company that really doesn't seem to care about clients. If they did, they would report monthly payments to credit bureaus. They do things on their own time. There is zero communication unless I call them. I'm going to ride it out because I'm already deep into their program. I would not recommend anyone else do it though. There must be a better option.

FDR has taken more than 1/2 the money I've paid in (I believe) to line their own pockets versus paying off my bills. I pay almost $500 per month, but you give my largest creditor $50 a month. You all played on the emotions of a stressed individual, whose bills were paid on time and over the minimum each month, and made it sound good to have "a break". Ran my credit into the ground have only settled 2 small debts. I hate I was so stupid and weak to have fallen for the biggest scam of PAYING SOMEONE TO PAY MY BILLS!!!

Updated on 07/08/2025: Easiest people that I have ever been dealing with on any program. Has empathy for my problem health hardship of my wife's illness of 17 months. Will recommend their company to any friends that might be in the same predicament that I have encountered. They have resolved 2 credit card debts and have contacted one other large one that they are processing now.

Freedom Debt is ONLY concerned with the amount of money they will collect from you. The ONLY time you will ever hear from them is when a settlement is reached and they want to collect their fees, aside you will only get an email or two. But when a settlement is reached, you should expect calls all day and texts until they get their money. Then half of what you are paying them will go to the fees with little to your creditors. Take a long look before you do this program.

Going over what to do and how everything would work was easy to understand and helped make it easy to work with. I have peace of mind knowing that I’m in good hands with this company and that they will take care of what is needed. I’d recommend this program to others that are in need of help as well.

Salespeople, not actually here to help. Almost threatening if you try to leave the program even though the biweekly payment is enough that you can’t afford your actual bills. Very poor customer service. I would recommend definitely working on your debts without their “help”. I’m as dissatisfied as I possibly could be. A so called 2 year program that will tank your credit score for 10 years.

The reason that I joined this program was to help settle my account with One Main and it was deemed urgent. Now as a result I was notified of a possible lawsuit. As long as I have been with this program some form of communication should have sent regarding program enrollment. Being sued after 6 months or more with the program defeats the purpose. It should not have come to this. I am not pleased at all! I called and spoke to someone and submitted notice from the attorneys months ago. Why hasn’t anyone contacted them?

FDR is an amazing to deal with. I have had no issues or worries. The client dashboard is so simple to use. The only complaint I have is that all their sister companies constantly let you down and waste your time. If you sign up with FDR stay with FDR. They’re the real deal.

So far happy with the process and feel relieved to be taking positive steps toward a positive outcome. The feelings of withering anxiety over unresolved debt are now the wish to fast forward and just be done. As the process moves ahead I'm confident I will be more pleased with the process.

Updated on 03/27/2025: They got a settlement within a couple of months. As long as you keep up with your payments, they will do the work to help you settle your debts. You have to have perseverance and patience. I never thought I would find help like this with my debt. It has helped me discipline myself as far as money is concerned. I would recommend them.
