Well right now I’m not happy because I received a summons in January and I sent everything in and called and it fell through the cracks. Because there was no response and I was considered a no show the court ruled in favor of the creditor now the last I heard from the law office was that they are waiting for there to be enough money in my account to pay it off. I also don’t feel like I am really saving much as the debt itself is reduced but the amount the company takes almost makes up for the what was reduced. Not saying we don’t save anything, but we don’t save as much as it’s made out to be.

The program basically is necessary, but once you are enrolled, you seem to disappear. Due to the process, I feel I received a summons because negotiations had not been started. Even after the received summons, no account negotiations were initiated by FDR. I feel that if an action plan had been initiated, perhaps my stress and satisfaction would have been improved. When I did speak with anyone, I would get transferred a few times only to get the option to leave a msg. or that agent could not help me and gave me vague responses. The numerous fees seemed unreasonable and excessive costing me more money.

I feel your payments to the people I owe drag out way too long. You are paying $60 a month on one vendor. The money is in my account to pay them off but yet it drags on. I know you are getting interest in what I have accrued. This does not make me happy.

I am very happy with Freedom Debt. They keep me informed on what they are doing and how my accounts are being taken care of. I get emails sent to me letting me know how the progress is going. I would definitely recommend them. I have a lot of friends and family in the same situation that I am in and I think that they would definitely benefit from this program.

I would have thought the debt dir. Refit cards was out based in the fact that you gave me a loan. At least one is not out so I am still paying to make sure that my credit score is not impacted. I will check other credit cards as well.

Since I have been a member I have only been able to access the dashboard two or three times total. Almost every time it sends me to the Chat section. That is not what I need, when I want to check my account balances. The customer service line is only open during regular business hours and I do most of my business at night.

I just started the program. Not 100 percent sure why they sent me the rate right away. But I will say the phone call was easy. But there was a lot of phone tag. Whenever the rep needed to call me back they missed the time slot to call me back. I had to keep emailing and calling to get my program started. I have a debt that was mislabeled as a “cosigned” debt but I have produced documents that show it is only my debt! I still haven’t been contacted about it. I want a little more of an update. This is my life. I'm trying to avoid being sued. The customer service reps are very nice. The program is flexible on how you pay. They work around your pay schedule. The app shows you everything they are working on. I hope to see them strike a deal pretty soon.

When calling customer service they should be able to discuss your loan and be more helpful. I think having one customer service person assigned to your case would be much more helpful. Also being able to go into your creditors and put your arbitrator phone number in so they don’t continue to call and text me during this process.

It’s too early to tell - I’m still getting annoyed calls from creditors that I’m ignoring and it feels horrible but that’s what the all instruction said to do. I’m trying to stick with the program and also trying to remain optimistic. I’m putting all my eggs in the proverbial basket if you will! I hope this works!

DO NOT GO TO THEM!! I would not refer these people to my worst enemy. They literally lie to you and tell you that it cost too much for them to come back and sue you. This will be the seventh time I got sued and I ended up having to settle out one by myself because McCartney Law never even got back to the other Lawyer to resolve my account that I was getting sued for. Please save yourself the time and money and give your money to somebody who will really truly help you guys because this place will not help you and McCartney Law will do nothing for you. I almost had a lien against my house because McCartney Law never tried to negotiate with them.

The associate at FDR was excellent. Patient, thorough, clear. She explained the program well and answered my questions completely. She was positive, supportive, and understood what I was going through. The online portal works well. I have signed in several times to monitor the progress of my settlement. I was just drowning in credit card debt and I saw an ad for Freedom Debt Relief in my email. I've been thinking about trying to figure out how to consolidate all of my payments, and my credit cards. I contacted them and they set me up right away. Some of the credit cards have been settled. The program is still running and will be an ongoing process for about three years and I’m partially done.

I ask for help, I ask for someone to call me on a Tuesday because I have questions and it doesn't happen. I feel like I have no idea what is happening with this whole process. It started out good, but quickly went downhill. I am disappointed and feel like this will be a mess from here on because I don't know what is or isn't happening and no one does what they say they will. Communications are terrible.

I wish I could give zero, or even negative stars!!!! Freedom Debt Relief takes such a large portion of my payment each month that my debt will take so much longer to pay off. The name of the company is not even FDR on my bank statement which feels sketchy. I’m now trapped because I stopped paying my credit cards under their advisement.

I have almost $4000 in my dedicated balance and my last debt just settled for $3120 plus court fees of $800 and these guys still want me to pay $400 a month for the next 24 months, and if I stop they threaten that my settlement would be in jeopardy? How?? I have more than enough to settle in full! And all while my legal assistant TOLD them to settle this in 2 full monthly payments. Freedom Debt Relief is refusing to listen to the attorney or help me and basically holding me hostage while threatening me at the same time. What you guys are doing is illegal and the definition of extortion. They can do what my attorney suggested, or I'll be calling my bank and telling them to stop payments, regardless of their baseless threats. They are legally obligated to settle this debt with what I have in my dedicated balance and refuse.

You all have been a god send, I appreciate the fantastic job you all are doing for me. The settlements that you have made so far have been done a lot faster than I expected. Thank you for all you have done. I will be letting anyone know just how I am satisfied with your performance.

Yes, they help…eventually. However, they certainly don’t get in any rush about it. The app is absolutely useless, so do yourself a favor and just use the website. I would reluctantly use them again, simply because they eventually get around to settling with your creditors with very little effort on their behalf. On the plus side I will never have to use them again because once I’m done paying them, I’ll NEVER put myself in that position again. This is just MY experience and honest feedback.

This was a solid sign up, unfortunately I didn't fix my behavior until later but the advice and instructions given were accurate. FDR as recent as today has been taking care the debt I enrolled into the program. Been on the program since 2023 and scheduled to graduate by 2027.

I am very pleased so far. You are currently working on one of my credit card debts. I am not as worried and stressed as I was a few months ago. If been paying on my plan for several years now and have never been late. Was contacted at least two different times about how great it was that I had never missed a payment and they were going to roll it into a new account so it would end sooner. Both times they asked many questions and told me they were going to get back to me. Neither time did anyone contact me. And I then find out that I'm not qualified to. After they keep contacting me.

Not at all happy about communication and lack of communication. Getting someone to respond to email and someone to call you is impossible. Not sure why it is taking so long to settle my last account with you guys. I have tried several times to get a call back with no success. I have received a loan to complete my account and still my last account has not been settled.

We are getting closer to being debt free that will be a great relief. I would tell everyone to use Freedom Debt Relief. They keep you up to date on what is going on and you can call them anytime with questions. They are very nice when you call. When I signed up with Lisa **, I specifically asked her about my monthly draw and stated that I kept on having National Debt Relief want to raise my amount for the draws and she said that wouldn't happen with FDR. Well, it's already started and I can only imagine it's going to keep happening. I wish there was honesty from the get go but I am worried the experience here will be no different that NDR.

Everyone has been very nice. The only issue I've had was a couple representatives telling me something different when it came to FDR needing documents, some said screen shots were ok, others told me that I had to download the documents, and one told me to email them in. The last customer service rep I spoke, name was Chis and he was awesome.

Please listen. File bankruptcy before agreeing to any debt program. The concept is great if you’re an honest person. But 20% savings is more like it. With the fees they charge and drag out your settlements to charge you more. My last settlement was settled for MORE than I enrolled in the program after it had 1K added to the debt by the company. Which is the same for any settlement over 1K. Some of the customer service reps were nice. Others were very rude.

After the phone is answered, I’m usually talking to someone. Their nice customer service representatives are nice and communicative, and understand what you are trying to say. The questions I’ve had so far have been answered, either by telephone call or email within 1-2 days. I would suggest this company to a friend. I have authorized 2 settlements already.

I totally recommend Freedom Debt Relief because I couldn’t do it myself. They helped me manage my debt. Helped me make a budget and helped me make a plan for my saving, spending and now I’m free of debt. Customer service and all the representatives are so helpful and understanding. Thanks FDR.

Freedom Debt relief has helped me towards the right path with my finances. They are very resourceful and shows empathy towards my expenses. I have called and asked FDR to connect with NetCredit regarding the Net credit settlement and Net credit says that FDR still has not contacted them. I am still receiving phone calls from Net credit saying I owe them money and it appears as if it's resolved on the FDR page.

Freedom Debt Relief has been a wonderful surprise. They have worked 99% of my accounts in a very short time frame. They identify me when something changes and always ask permission before moving ahead. When one creditor file court docs against me there team of lawyers came thru and took care of everything. Great company to turn to when you need.

With constant harassing of phone calls and threatening letters from my creditors, Freedom Debt Relief has helped a lot with negotiating my high debt to a fair settlement. After all, the creditors cause me to fail minimum payments due to frequent change of high interest rates at the time with added late charges. Updated on 01/07/2026: The relief is in the form of worry free debt management service. Of course with consistent payments for two years now FDR has performed beyond expectations. I am glad to say I would recommend FDR. I had more than 100k in credit card debt, FDR has in two years resolved 75% of that debt negotiating payments totaling 50-75% less.

Would prefer to have some flexibility for payment schedule to account for occasional cash shortage, especially given that my only income is social security, which is fixed. I have been told, however, missing a payment would void my agreement, even if I made up the shortfall over the next 6 to 12 payments.

Thanks for helping me for all my credit cards, dealing with the banks. Answer all my question, explain for me clearly to understand. I just had my money in my bank, at due date they withdrew. I’m happy, nothing to worry. Before every week I’m worried money not enough even with the credit card required. Again thanks for helping me.

Some of these settlements I feel should be lower since I got the loan. It's like you don't fight hard enough for losing just settling. Would like to see a better job working on deals. Would feel just because a lump sum is there you would still push for lowered debt relief.

From my experience I would say the program is excellent. It has done everything as promised and actually going a little faster than I expected! I have uploaded documents with ease and added more debtors to my account. The debtors hounding me the most are the ones settled first. Five stars!

Legal crooks. So many scams. They don’t help you. They helped themselves. They take advantage of people‘s misfortunes and tell you what you wanna hear. I strongly recommend not using them. They’re all about making profits.

I was so happy with my first time experience. The representatives were so kind and patient listening to all my worries and needs. I felt very comfortable in asking questions as well. They have been great with keeping me updated on settlements! I feel like I am almost done. I was a bit hesitant at first, but seeing my credit report updated after the first settlement made me feel better about the program. I enjoy being able to use their mobile app now too.

I was nervous at first cause my credit score was going down rapidly, within a year, I am seeing it going back up, slowly but surely. In one year, I have 1 resolved, 2 in negotiation and 2 still on hold. I am impressed with the timeline. I hope to be debt-free soon. I wish I would have started this sooner. I have asked several times for you to negotiate with my collection account asset recovery solutions. I raised my monthly deposit, hoping that this would help to resolve this account. They are calling my work and probably will file legal action soon, my account keeps getting a larger balance with interest.

I thought this was a debt consolidation loan, not a debt relief program. I would rather use my money to pay my cards now than my credit crashing due to this program. And I can't get anyone to answer when I try to call to cancel and when I email, they say that I have to call. Please stop marketing this as debt consolidation and be honest with people about what this does.

I dealt with 1 other debt relief company National Debt Relief. You will be paying all sorts of fees you don’t know about. That’s all I’ll say for now. I was a little wary signing with Freedom Debt. They completely turned it around for me. They are very transparent where you is paying. How much you have left in your account. I love this company!!!

So far so good. I reached my first settlement and looking forward to the second settlement. I'm going to stick with the process and in the next 24 months I should be debt free. I would recommend that it’s better to get help with debt relief than not doing anything.

I would have given them a 5, but I tried to enroll a new debt and was told no. They were very nice and professional, but they did not explain that I could not enroll a new debt. The option is given, but I was told no. This is going to hurt me financially. I have not received an answer from my agent.

The Freedom Debt Relief Program is a very good program. The only negative is how it destroys your credit. My credit rating has dropped considerably since joining this program. Some of credit card companies have not been contacted as of today. The idea of the program is great. The baggage that's comes with the program is the only issue I have.

So far, service has been good. I did send an email with a question about making a payment to support and never heard back. Since that time, I believe I have figured it out myself. We have just started with this program and hopefully it all goes according to plan.

I signed up for this program hoping to get some relief from my overwhelming debt, but it turned out to be one of the worst decisions I’ve made. Despite making monthly payments into the program and trusting them to negotiate on my behalf, I ended up getting sued by the company I owed the most to. To make matters worse, I still had to pay the full amount of that debt — plus legal fees — even after months of participating in the program. The legal support they promised was minimal to nonexistent, and I felt completely unprepared and misled. In the end, I’m deeper in financial stress than before, with nothing to show for the time and money I invested. I do not recommend this service to anyone looking for real debt relief. Do your homework and explore other options before trusting a company that overpromises and underdelivers.

I now have a judgement against me because of one of my cards. It's now been about a year of making on time payments and there are still several cards that haven't been negotiated. So I would imagine more judgements to come. I have had a major change in my income due to losing my job in November but I still made and am making my payments. So fair is really the best I can give.

I have just enrolled in Freedom Debt Relief and now missed 4 payments. My initial FDR payment is June 16th. I am very nervous about this process but look forward to living within my budget and having less stress in my life. Michael, my consultant who signed me up is very confident in this process.

Communication has been horrible. I signed up for this so that I would be less stressed and I seem to be more stressed than I ever was. I’ve had things go all the way to court and a judgment they put on me in court because of the failure to follow through with things even after I called with all the information or I sent the information nobody would contact me to tell me if they needed something more or Anything. It’s just bad communication.

I had started my debt recovery with a heavy heart, I felt so bad about the debt I incurred. My husband had a long and hard disease and I had to use credit cards to pay back the debt. I reached out to the individual companies, but neither credit card company was willing to negotiate. After enrolling in FDR almost 2 years ago, I am so close to paying off my the first credit card and this month I began paying on the second one. One thing I don't appreciate is when my main place where I bank calls me to settle 2 accounts and I tell them that I'm with Freedom Debt Relief and they tell me, "You haven't even contacted them." They want to know what's going on. So contact them to let them know what's going on.

They have already settled 2 debts, and I was very pleased with the amount. I will continue recommending them to people I know who need help. Once some other things settle down in my life, I would like to bump up my payments to speed up the process of getting completely out of debt, aside from my vehicle.

I was drowning in debt, and I came across FDR And I made the phone call. However, with all the scams are going around. The rep that I spoke with reassured me that is a legit program. At first it was hard because I paid my bills before I went food shopping. They are there every step of the way.

Call and talk to a lady about paying off one of my accounts. Gave an extra $700 that was supposed to take care of an account. And it was put towards a different account leaving my other account still open. I’ve tried several times to pay stuff off and always seem to get the runaround. Keep getting excuses on why this happened. The blame was thrown back on me. If I had been given the proper information to start with, we would not be having this problem now. No one can explain to me exactly what happened to the rest of the money that I gave them. Would love to talk to a manager. Feel free to get in contact with me.

After fully realizing how little my debt is being settled for and how much INSANE amounts you are charging in fees, this was actually the poorest financial decision ever. I am getting the same offers if I call myself to creditors and not forking out thousands of $$$ for a company to do nothing. I'm getting a settlement soon and will be withdrawing from your program and settling debts myself. Zero communication from an actual person either. Poor customer service.

The system works great. It just takes a long time. I've had credit repair agencies in the past, that did it in a few months. These agencies no longer exist for some reason, maybe because I didn't have to accumulate a certain amount of money before anything can be processed and even if it was a lot more convenient, I guess I'll take what I can get, verdad.

Making great progress toward my goal to settle and eliminate credit card debt. Per FDR, next estimated settlement should be October 2025 - December 2025. So far, Freedom Debt Relief have been easy to work with. They're helpful and professional. I look forward to being debt free soon. I can keep track of every debt that's resolved anytime, anywhere. Great organization to use for my debt consolidation. I have been a client since 2023. I would recommend FDR to anyone, friends, family and coworkers also. The money FDR uses is your money that is held in an account that is set up for them to negotiate with each creditor individually and confidential between you and them.

Recently a creditor became impatient and filed a legal process to recover our debt to their institution. The legal department of Freedom Debt Relief went right to work and resolved the issue before the lawsuit went forward. We are now approaching a half-way point through the program. Thank you Freedom.

It’s frustrating how unavailable agents are after they have you sign up with this program! Makes me feel that a mistake was made signing up to this program! I feel I was misled in thinking that FDR would pay my debts with the $700+ a month that I'm paying you. I haven't received any settlement offer that was less than what the card company offered me to settle. I'm paying FDR and still having to pay the settlement. What am I paying you for?

I haven't been in the program but for about a year and a half. Just last week I resolved my first debt. Can't say too much as far as success but I am chipping away at the debt. And more importantly, not making more. Settlements are low and the fees are reasonable.

My program was 5 years long. They are slow in negotiating accounts so you have creditors nagging you for years. My last account took nearly 5 years before they started negotiating even though the whole account could be paid in its entirety with the money that was in my dedicated account. A good portion of the money they did negotiate on my behalf went to fees so I essentially paid probably 20% less than if I didn't use FDR.

I have been with this company for many years in hopes that I’d get help paying off 2 credit cards. Not only did they lower my debt by just a few dollars, they charged me 25% of my debt which means I ended up having to pay more than if I had just payed to the credit cards. Customer service is a joke. Each time I’ve called with questions regarding my account/payments, I was told something completely different each time down to amount I owed. These people are trying to charge hardworking people out of more money and in this economy it’s just not right.

A little over 25 years ago I worked with a debt management company and I negotiated settlements. Actually, I was very good at it and even set some records. But I don't hold a candle to the representatives at Freedom Debt Relief. They have turned negotiating settlements into an art form!

In 2018, I called Freedom Debt Relief to help with my debts because I owed $51,000. One of my debts was Discover Card and I owed them $26,000. My other 5 debts were $25,000. I had seen advertisements saying that if you owe over $10,000 in credit card debt, Freedom Debt Relief can help. I already had a great payment schedule with Discover and did not want to include them in the FDR negotiating since I already had 5 accounts with $25,000 due. But the Freedom Debt Relief representative said he could not help me unless I included the Discover account with the other 5 accounts. This turned out to be misinformation on FDR's side and it took me 2 extra years to pay off Discover and I spent an extra $5600 in Freedom Debt Relief fees trying to pay off Discover.... all because this FDR rep lied to me probably to make a higher commission on my account.

This debt relief company is the greatest.. They have helped me to see there is light at the end of credit card tunnel.. So glad I joined them for help.. Their staff is amazing.. So polite and helpful and I was drowning in debt.. Afraid to open my mail. Then received an ad on my phone for FDR and called right away.

So far so good. I am just beginning this route of debt ending so I'm not quite suited how I'll feel in a few months. But right now I golden. I'll be certainly willing to tell you when our if I'm unhappy about something. Or if I have questions I'll be sure to call and ask and get answers right away.

It did help with my credit cards, but the only problem was that they tell you between 3- years max 4 years, my is taking 5 years. Don't know why. And when I checked my dashboard still showing accounts that need to pay off. Is seeing like only 4 credit cards are being paid. I don't really know this program works.

FDR communication is terrible! Y'all expect people to approve settlements without enough information! Actually, I think y'all purposely withhold important information so that participants in the program will blindly approve them without asking question or looking for better negotiations. It's also crazy that y'all charge soooo much once an account is approved. I'm going to end up paying FDR more than if I had just kept the original balances owed prior to being settled by FDR. That is a huge amount in fees!

I thought I would have more money left from my check but I just paid my bills and I only have $10 left so it doesn’t look like this is really going to help me. I’m still using a credit card to pay for things which kind of defeats the purpose of.

Credit rating hasn't improved enough over almost 2 years. No verbal communication on your all end. Dashboard is a joke. Very seldom does it have updated information. And the website jumps around and goes on and off. I usually just end up leaving the Dashboard because it is no help.

I can honestly say that through one of the lowest, most depressing, and financially challenging times in my life, Freedom Debt Relief helped find a workable path out of it. I recommend to anyone having debt problems to give them a try. If nothing else the financial planning information at their disposal is useful for many of life's situations.

I am overall satisfied with the program - huge help in reducing my debt!! It was challenging to pay / withdraw from Crossroads to pay my final credit card off. I understand it is procedure, but a little challenging. The other part is … all my debt has been settled and they keep withdrawing from my account to my depository account with them. I was able to place a skip withdrawal with them directly. But have to wait 30 days before refunded the overage. These are the reasons for the 4 star, but overall great program!

Settled in poor timing and order, didn't think about what accounts needed to be settled first, take their time so they can absorb as many fees as possible, which I should have considered before I signed. Buyer (literally) beware, think before you get talked into something you can really do on your own, with zero fees from places like this.

This has been the best experience, helping me get back on track! From the beginning to helping consolidate, it has been with ease. The staff is extremely informative and easy to work with. I spent 2 hours on the phone with company to figure out why I received court summons on an account with in program. I was told to call back after a week to check for update on account. I received a email requesting more documents that I didn’t see but when I called back over a week later I was notified they needed documents on May 9 so why did I not receive any contact other than a email requesting documents. So after a hour and half on the phone they have documents they needed to move forward and now I have to wait up to 90 days before I know what is going on so they can research to summons. Meanwhile I have to wait and I was told to call back weekly and request an update on the account so another hour weekly if not more to just find out if I have a warrant for failure to appear.

They have been nothing short of helpful when I've needed. They follow up to make sure everything's working out, they're generally easy to reach and I've had even more complicated parts of this process explained very clearly. At the same time, when everything's good they let me be. No complaints.

I hope everything go well. And I will follow whatever you need. When I find out Freedom Debt Relief help a lot of people and I try to give myself a chance from my mistake. So from now on after my credit clear again. I would like to start over. And I will make it happen.

So far it's going well. Not comfortable with all the calls and emails I received from debt owners, but I was warned about what all had to take place and I'm going with the program process. I have experienced very quick and statisfied response for all my questions. I feel comfortable with the timeframe that my debit has been reduced and is processed to be eliminated. I was very concerned with legal notices, the issue was quickly resolved. I feel that any "issues" going forward will be resolved in a timely manner.

I had a settlement that I tried to approve many times. After giving almost $600 days before. As well as paying on it for years. You kept telling me that there wasn’t enough money. Also, I no longer own the property that this went to. I need for it to go away!

I know it's too soon as it's only been a couple weeks. I've only made 1 payment to FDR, but this is the 2nd time a review has been asked of me. Zero debt deals have been made. I really don't like this process of just letting due dates pass & dodging calls. Can't wait for things to start being resolved.

I have had to use this company twice sadly on my part but both times they have been great. I am thankful for all of their help. I highly recommend this company. Always helpful and supportive. My first settlement in the first few months. They have lawyers that do everything they can to keep you out of court also.

My name is Zaeer V. I enrolled in Freedom Debt Relief in mid 2024. I was a bit skeptical at first but the representative I spoke with over the phone was very easy to speak with and seemed really honest about the program so I took a chance. I've had no complaints so far, it has helped me out tremendously. I'm down to my last credit card in negotiations and should be all done and debt free within 1 year (mid 2026). Honestly the best decision I've made with my credit, you will take a hit at first but it will correct itself in time.

You are supposed to be helping your clients out of debt but yet your fees are astronomical. I would not of signed up for the program if I would of realized truly how your fees worked and cost. Your fees actually cost as much as the debt you settle for most of the time and then we get slammed at tax time. When I looked at the whole program again after I was in it, it was not what I thought and truly not helping me in the way I thought it would.
