I had heard many different reviews from people. I chose to have my own experience and it has been positive so far. I already have one account that is being removed and that is promising. Other than dealing with creditors calls. That is probably the worst part. I think that paying my payments is a whole lot better than all the minimum payments I was making weren't even making a difference.

What is being done about my car loan, I don't see it on here and they can take my car. I have never missed a payment until now. So what's being done about that? I need to know what to do about that as soon as possible. I think this should be addressed because I am losing my car, only means of transportation I have. So this is important for me.

So far all is going according to plan. I am able to call and get the information I need clearly and precisely. Customer service answers the calls quickly and are very helpful in their responses. Hoping that this process goes smoothly. I have not been in the program long enough to give an accurate answer as to the services rendered.

They have been great. Very friendly, very helpful. Very efficient at their job. Wish I could afford to deposit more so could be done faster. If I sent an email they respond quickly. They have helpful videos and helpful ideas to talk to accounts. They keep you up to date on your accounts.

Was told I could add debt. Have been trying for weeks to reach someone via email and or phone with no luck. Not impressed. Presented themselves as caring and hands on. Very disappointed. This company needs some improvement for sure. Thinking about canceling account and going with a different company.

Kevin was great, walked me through everything I needed to know. He made me feel like there was hope getting out of debt. Great people skills. I love the app also. It allows you to track your progress along the way to paying off the debt. I would recommend this to anyone that needs help with creditors who raise your rates to 30% and trap you into paying on credit the rest of your life.

Only problem I have is I didn't understand that all the deposits I make most of the money goes to Freedom Debt Relief, when you make a settlement it's on a monthly payment then take all your commission. I thought most of my deposits would go to settlements and your payments would come mostly at the end. Otherwise I am happy.

They do not do what they say they will do. I was told payments to them would be made at a later date. That was not the case, and this messed up a settlement they had completed. I am still left with their fee, and now have a new fee because they settled another account. I'm not really interested so far. I can't submit this review because it's not good.

Every time I call in I ALWAYS get the most pleasant experience when doing so. I have had to move my monthly payment a couple times and there is never a problem. I am a customer service manager and it’s very refreshing to get excellent service over the phone! Keep up the good work!

When I signed up 2 years ago, I was told I would never go to court. I've been served subpoenas 5 times recently for the debts I have enrolled with you, your so-called legal team doesn't go to court there, for I have had to take off work losing pay!!!! You get your 2 payments a month automatic withdraw.

Quick response when I called for help. They listened to me but also asked how I got into my situation, so make me accountable, which I wasn’t ready to admit but then immediately helped me come up with a plan to be debt free in 4 years. I joined Freedom Debt Relief because I was overwhelmed with credit card debt and needed guidance. What I got instead was months of confusion, deflection, and harm to my finances and credit. In February 2025, after a change in income, I followed FDR’s instructions to stop my auto-payment and make a one-time manual payment of $588 to American Express. FDR confirmed that they received the payment—then failed to forward it to the creditor. This caused my original settlement agreement to be voided.

Did not explain about the fee which they charge me to my credit amount Fee and no one contact me for any changes or progress about my account even though I tried to contact. Even I put enough money to cover all my accounts to paid off trying to take more money from my bank so I have to call them each time. Let them know I changed twice already.

My daughter has tried Freedom Debt Relief so I went with them. It’s an excellent program to go with. I’ve been with other debt relief places and they don’t operate the same way. Freedom Debt Relief seemed concerned and was very helpful. Right now, everything is expensive so it’s a lot better than me having to pay the full debt. I pay every month. But so often, they usually send me the settlement statement and show me the amount that I owe, the amount that they offered them and what they expected. Overall, their service is excellent as you understand exactly what it’s all about.

I wanted to see if I could do something to get back in shape. The organization came up on the internet, so I went for Freedom Debt Relief. The representative was very informative and walked me through the process, told me exactly what I needed to do and what would happen over time. But the thing is, they're taking their sweet time with going after these credit places for me to reduce the debt. They’re waiting for me to make deposits before they decide to negotiate with the different credit places. They settled one, but there's three more they still gotta settle. It just seems like it's a long time in between.

I think Freedom Debt Relief can do more with contacting the debtors and letting them know what's going on to avoid the customer such as myself be back down with all the phone calls and the letters and their Freedom Debt Relief will just give them a call or send them letters and let them know what the intentions are. I think that would be a good relief off of the customers.

I had an account and was supposed to have a negotiation with the debtor, but the debtor did not want to. The law firm tried to approach the debtor, and they said they didn’t want anything to do with them. I said, “That’s crazy. How did that fall out on me?” so I had to contact the people myself and solve the problem.

My account has been fully funded since February. Even after several contacts and months requesting them to speed up settlements. Although the money is available Freedom Debt continues to be slow to make settlement arrangements. Every time contact I always get a very generic answer to increase deposits, and I explain I don't have to because the account is fully funded. I want this over so I can rebuild my credit, but Freedom continues to stay on the original timeframe..

Yes this an awesome company to to anyone who may need help to rid themselves of debt. They walk with every step of the way. Customers service they are there when you need them. They do their best to answer all your questions and help to find answers. They are. The best at what they do. I'm so grateful for their services.

You cannot get in touch with a Human Being to ask Questions. There are only AI Stonewalls. And when you do call, they do not listen. I am still receiving Emails telling me not to use various Cards WHICH I HAVE NOT USED IN 7 MONTHS… and when I actually got to speak with Humans about this, they assured me I would no longer receive such Emails. AND YET I STILL RECEIVED THEM.

Although I am looking forward to some debt being paid, I kind of wish it was already happening. Also, I added some debt and have heard nothing and I really need it added. It is one of my biggest debts and if it is not paid, it may defeat the purpose. I also hope negotiations are done before I start making payments.

Many of their terms were not disclosed to me upon sign up. Only after the fact did I realize this as how could I have known until all these “little” unforeseen problems started coming up. Their fees are astronomical (also not disclosed) and there was a lot of avoiding answering my questions when I was suddenly served with court papers from one creditor unwilling to settle. Very stressful ordeal for me.

No correspondence other than depositing money into your account. Very disappointed with service. I have no idea if any contact has been made with IRS. Never heard from Charles even though I have requested several times for him to call me back. I have no idea what is owed to IRS. I getting notices from IRS and am told not to worry and I’m very worried.

This is a scam. They let debt sit for months and years and only settle when people get sued by the creditors and then settle for the worst rate. I have paid tens of thousands of dollars to them and my credit is WORSE than when I signed up. Absolutely terrible.

Far less than I expected from Freedom. I expected my debt to be reduced significantly more. It wasn't reduced by even half the amount. I would never recommend Freedom to anyone for resolving their credit card debt. In fact, I would urge them NOT to go thru Freedom. I had 3 Cards, they took only 2 to help me with, then barely reduced my credit card debt on the first card, and I have not heard anything from them yet concerning the second card.

Hello Deborah was very kind considerate and understanding of my plight. She walked me through every step to fill out the application and she never once had an attitude. I have called her many times to call my nerves about not paying my creditors. Always willing to help such a joy to talk to. So thankful I met her.

I was most relieved 3+ weeks ago to learn that some of my debt would be removed. I am still very new in the program and have not experienced the full benefit of the program, hence I did not rate the service at the highest possible rating. I have yet to make a payment and consequently see a lender disappear.

Taking a little longer than I would like but doing a great job and they are always helpful and lets us know what is going on. Would recommend this to anyone that need assistance in getting your debt down. They are good with talking things through when you need information or questions.

Great experience since beginning January 2024, paying off or settling four of my six accounts to date at roughly 50% each. Great communication throughout each step. Totally recommend for the person who wants to pay what they owe, but not all the fees that go with the debit. I can breathe light again.

Will be so happy when we can get these settled. I am sick of the calls multiple times a day. Feel no relief. I try to send things to help with the different debtors. Just hope we can settle some of these soon before they take me to court. Can’t you call them soon to try to get this settled.

Called your office couple times and also left messages, NO return calls to this writing!!! This is already getting to my nerves. Payment had been taken in Apr.17, but still never gotten any copy of signed agreement documents!

The process was simple. I was sent both a text and an email about an offer on one of my credit card debts. I read it and accepted it via text message. Freedom Debt Relief confirmed right away with a text and an email that my offer was accepted and I was on my way to resolving my debt.

Updated on 06/05/2025: Freedom Debt Relief did call me but the customer service representative just wanted to know when the claims were made that my credit score will go back up after the program finishes. Overall when I voiced my complaints on the review they stated that I have to go fix things like credit on my own and didn't even let me get to the portion about cost. They hung up on me after I vocalized my concerns over my credit they did say it was bad that I even did the program because I am so young, something the original sales repersentitive that helped me sign up dis not mention. When I tried to call back to see if the call just dropped they ignored my calls. I haven't been called back again since. So customer service wise also a 1 star since they are more focused on being legally covered over actually hearing a customer out or listening to feedback.

I think you should start with the highest bills first, then I would've not been sued by one of my creditors. I understand that you solved the problem but if the highest was processed first I fill the law suit would never happened. I do appreciate what you have done so far.

A tool for a problem. I wish they had been more up front about how they do NOT contact your creditors until they are going to make an offer. It leaves you with the task of talking to them and receiving all their emails about missed payments and regular mail notices of updated account delinquencies.

When I first started the program, I figured it would be a couple of years at least to get my cards paid off. The folks at Freedom were very honest about how long it would take. They were also very upfront about the calls and how my credit score would drop. Because I was making my payments well, they gave me an opportunity to settle all of my outstanding balances and as of tomorrow, my last settlement will be paid. My credit score is already rebounding.

I was talked into joining the program. The next day I decided I didn't want to do it. I called to cancel and was told that in 4 days they were going to take my money anyway. He said it couldn't be stopped. Sounds like a lie to me. I was told I would get my money back in 2 weeks. Friday the 18th was 2 weeks and I didn't get my money back. I called and I still didn't get my money back.

Tired of all the calls. I thought FDR would contact everyone and let them know they were working with me. That isn't the case. FDR gets its money right off the bat. While I sit here and deal with the fallout. I was told that in 2 years things would get better. Not sure how that's possible. I know my payments were dragging me under but now I can't even answer the phone.

It’s early days, but so far it’s been great. We’ve sent in the money to be used for resolution. American Express in their daily emails and calls appear stern in the beginning and all says end reminding one that they want to work with the customer to resolve the issue.

The initial consultation was informative and easy to understand. The sign-up process was easy and done quickly. The communication from Freedom Debt Relief concerning settlements and general information is outstanding. Any time I've had a question and called customer service, the rep has been very friendly and takes as much time as is needed to explain and answer all questions. I have yet to have a customer service rep who didn't make me feel like they truly care and want to help.

Very quick to handle negotiations. All staff that I dealt with were very knowledgeable and eager to provide good service. Negotiations went very well. I would highly recommend Freedom and its helpful staff.

As I look at the fees that's being charged for negotiation, I could have negotiate the creditors myself. I might decide to take over the rest of debts. The fees are more than the negotiation that is being offered from the creditors.. It's not worth using Freedom Debt Relief program. I have 2 years and 11 months to go and majority of the debts are paid.

I contacted this company, Freedom Relief Debt, at the end of September 2023 and set up 7 accounts with them. I was paying the minimum on my bills, but I wasn't behind on my payments. Since Freedom Relief took over my accounts, my credit score dropped drastically, more than 150 points. I couldn't sleep or eat properly. They called me more than 5 times a day, harassing me about the accounts I set up with them.

Although I have not been involved with Freedom Debt Relief for very long, I have finally found that they have allowed me to sleep at night now instead of worrying about how I can get out from under the burden of credit card debt. I now have a plan, and they will help me reach my goal of being debt-free within a reasonable amount of time.

Freedom Debt helped me consolidate and reduce my debt from 12 years to 6 years. All this and reduced my monthly payments. This has been a blessing for me as I was struggling to keep up due to emergencies. I would recommend them to my friends and family. Huge success.

All the employees that have helped us reduce our financial burden of credit, have been greatly helpful and easy to work with. They are helping my family save a lot of money paying back high-interest credit card and loan debt, so that we can get financially stable. They also helped us get to a payment that we can handle.

Too many players in the game. Too many players using multiple names to confuse would-be clients. Results in wasted time and wasted money and incomplete solutions to debt problems. THis also results in duplicated effort where I end up being charged for negotiating the same debt debt relief by two or three firms. The winner? Debt holder who gets three "settlements".

Positive experience - just wish they could /would contact all the enrolled debt companies at once about a pending settlement to avoid the incessant phone calls from collections. A clearer explanation of how the payments are distributed would have been helpful. Easy navigation through app and easy to approve settlements. Brings peace of mind to know this is being resolved.

I would recommend this company to anyone who needed help getting back on track. And building their credit back they have a lot of helpful tips and info. For their customers and they know their stuff, they do their job, well life happened and there is always little bumps in the road and there are people and programs out there to help. It was disappointing with AMOCO not working with the payment program. I wish they would have as now I still have debt but it is good with what was settled and I’m thankful.

The one positive I will say about the program is that they make it easy to add or remove accounts to your dedicated account. Now for the reason I gave them only 2 stars: My total enrolled debt - $46,651.00. The total amount that I will have deposited at program graduation - $42,018.57. This equates to a debt savings equal to $4,632.43 (less than 10%). I recommend you discuss with them the fee % that they are going to take before joining the program.

I've been in a lot of financial difficulties that I don't know how I'm gonna get myself out of, so I called Freedom Debt Relief. I spoke with a gentleman on a Sunday. He was very knowledgeable. He explained the program and how it works. He knew how much debt I was in and I explained to him that I didn't know how I was gonna get out of it. Before we hung up the phone, I said, "I would like to be in the program." The gentleman said he would get back to me, and it was just a little while from the initial call. He said, "I'll get you set up, explain what your payment plan will be per month, then you tell me whether you can do that or not. Then you can set what day you want it to be done on. I will explain all of that after I take a look at all your debt."

Able to build my credit score back up and get a better credit rating. This program gave me restoration of my credit. I am able to live a normal lifestyle without debt. After I am done paying off this debt, I should be back on my feet again. This program also helps me pay off my debts and put some money in my pocket as well.

I have done debt relief in the past and the way this company operates is very dis-satisfying. They DO NOT notice the creditors that you are working with them and the creditors continue to call and harass. They only work on one creditor at a time and will not have anything to do with any other creditor till they are finished with the one they are working with.

I still got three more to go and we can’t even probably start those until the one from Belk is done so I’m kind of disappointed in that plus I’ve got somebody named Alex is calling me to try and finance the whole thing and pay give you more money to pay off the debt and I’m not sure about that if that’s on the up and up or if you approve of that. You are constantly being prompted to send copies of the current bill, which shouldn't change. Not are my bills are on here yet which is what we agreed on so I live in fear of garnishment. I have been very happy with Freedom Debt Relief who have put my wife and I on a debt relief program that puts some light at the the "end of the tunnel" and has relieved some of the pressure of very high interest credit card debt. Updated on 06/07/2025: I got good service. They got rid of one of my debts in two months and are now helping me get rid of another one. The downside is that they charge 25 percent to get this done and when I signed up I was told they only charge 6 percent so who lied to me???

I just started my program with Freedom. The very first night I slept with a peace of mind, I excited to fix my debt so I can actually start to save for my first condo or small house. I didn't know that this was going to be a YADA YADA! But having a program that will defend your true intentions to repay or even a chance to repay is cpitol! Interest charges are constantly causing the original amount to increase. which makes things toughfer to manage especially with the increase of everyday Pricing. Gasoline prices create a struggle to stick with a Budget which waterfalls down to creditors allowed payments to pay bills back in a timely manner.

My husband deals with Freedom Debt Relief and that's how I found out about them. I have recently started the program and so far, everything seems smooth. It started a little bit slow because of how I'm paying. I just had surgery, and maybe it would speed up more if I was working. But for now, it's not bad.

The customer service team was awesome and help me through the process of enrolling with ease. I felt comfort in knowing that I had that kind of support during my most difficult times.
