The process was easy to complete and understand. I was relieved after doing this. I had been worrying about all of my bills for some time and needed a new start. I will complete this program in order to get my debt under control. I do not want to continue to be strangled by my debt.

Wow, this all makes me very nervous. The process was fairly easy. The representative was super understanding and helpful through the process. I’m just now receiving one settlement and I’m so grateful. While being over burden with that seems extremely irresponsible, I am glad there is some sort of assistance out there when the credit card companies bounce interest rates so high.

So far everything has been pretty easy and they have been very helpful but we will see how it goes when the creditors start calling. I’m not very good with confrontation and I have always paid my bills on time so it’s going to be interesting to see how that goes, but it will be very helpful in the long run.

Great and awesome. Would use again if the need arise! Helpful with questions and with quick responses! Able to postpone payments if needed though it does affect scheduled original complement of the program plans. They resolved my debts quicker than I thought. Consistency pays off. I was expecting to be in the program at least a few years. I canceled this process and you people still submitted to my bank account. My bank stopped the payment. I left a message for Ton who did not get back to me, send emails no response. Yep! You guessed it. I am not happy with being ignored. I changed my mind, do not want your service. I went ahead and made my payments to my credit cards.

Staff were understanding and down to your level. Assured that they can guide to move forward and allowed some breathing room in spending for renovation-remodeling, etc. There a sense of hope and light at the end of the tunnel. Learned we are not the only ones struggling this bad. Thanks for your assistance.

I rate them highly, but probably get things more accomplished if I wasn't supporting 2 others. Which makes it harder to maintain the proper deposits required to everyone's satisfaction, but such is life. I have had to cancel some of the payments and or change the amounts required. They are always willing to work with me on issues and problems. 👍👍👍

I’m happy with the resolution, but very unhappy that it’s taking so long to settled my debts and the total amounts of the debts are increasing while we wait for the settlements. After almost a year, only 1/2 of my debts are settled. I’m paying so much in fees for little resolution.

The Men and Women who work at Freedom Debt Relief have been nothing but respectful, caring, helpful, and reassuring. They have helped me get through a tough time with bills piling up and me pulling out my hair trying to rob Peter to pay Paul. No one wants to hear but, yes I did have a creditor in this put me into litigation, and they stuck with me through it and gave me options.

Easy, convenient, quick, helpful, understanding, cooperative, sensitive, patient, thoughtful, kind, friendly, supportive, caring, considerate, and a number of other good qualities to make the whole experience stress-free. Would recommend this to anyone who can’t qualify for a bank loan. Willing to work with you, even when you encounter difficulties making the monthly payments. Only wish the interest rates were lower, but it’s doable nonetheless. Hope I don’t have to get another loan like this in the future, but I will doubtless return to OneMain for assistance should it become necessary.

Great communication and able to work with my debit and keep me in the know. They were very thorough about the process about contacting my creditors and what order they usually go into when doing so. I wish more people out there would do this to get out of debt. It makes the most sense! Thank you!

The rep was great. He took his time explaining everything to me and answered my questions, went over options a few times. Debt consolidation company very efficient, customer service is excellent and they stay in communication with you at every level of the process. They also provide a portal that is easy to navigate that allows you to stay connected to the process at your own pace. Very happy with all customer service but hope that we can get the account that was in legal and they cannot garnish my wages now to agree since it was part of the $120. There also has to be a referral fee for Candy ** at the same address because without her I would’ve never have done this.

Updated on 02/08/2025: This company has helped me through a tough time in life, I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing help. A++. I was in a bad way with my bills, was able to consolidate all of them into one payment. It was a lot lower than trying to pay all of them.

Very poor amount of write off Discover card. Talk a big talk but did not even get 50% off. I could probably got 100% off by myself. You talk a big talk but not impressed. You never mentioned a percentage additional charge just the monthly payment. Also two of the accounts were zero interest. Also asked to be called on your settlement form and never got one. I guess you got me and that is the end of any personal contact, just electronic and do not have time-got my money and goodbye from you.

Very good service that have great knowledge of my program, always answer my questions in a manner I can understand. I only have one credited still wanting me to respond to them, the account that are calling about is my Discover account. They have threatened a court summon. I need some help taking care of this other than that. Everything you guys have done is outstanding. I will continue with my payments. Thank you very much.

Our advisor, Kevin, has been amazing in terms of communicating what is supposed to happen and how. The three stars are entirely because of his support. The lack of the remaining two stars are maybe more my misunderstanding of how quickly the process does or doesn’t work. I am still more than hopeful. The process is working because of the first settlement being so successful.

I’m am very please with them! They helped me so much when I needed it. Wish I could accelerate it but it is just not possible. Everything at the beginning sounds so good and start working together, then after receiving the bank account number they go rouge. I could not get assistance on the phone, I had and account that needed added and no one would help me. It got to the point I just had to stop.

This place has no communication with me. I have not set up Internet access to get on the board. I tried to call. They never called me back. I’m just so disappointed in this place but they sure take my money every month and now I’m getting sued by a credit card that you guys were supposed to take care of

I realize it takes time to set up settlement negotiations. But there hasn’t been any information provided to me about any negotiations. I’m getting emails and calls concerning payments on these accounts. I was told not to make any payments on these accounts because they were being negotiated. When will I be notified of any progress…. getting a bit nervous about this choice of handling these debts.

I’m placing as much money as I can each month, but it seems to be used more for Freedom Debt Relief than my bills! I would not recommend this to anybody. Seems very slow and torturous to go through this.

So far it seems as if Freedom Debt Relief is taking care of what they stated they would. They claim to be settling my debt but in over two years with the the only debt settled is one I pulled from them and did myself. They love to pat themselves on the back talking about reducing a 6k debt to 2.7k but they fail to mention they then charge 1.8-2k for their service per debt meaning the actual savings to the consumer are wildly over stated 'cause they don't include their fees as part of the price the consumer has to pay.

It would be such a relief when all my debt is paid off. Then my stress and worries would be gone. My husband and I are disabled and we only have one income and it's been a struggle to keep up with the payments of our Creditors. My husband and I found your company and we can't wait for the phone calls to stop from our Creditors.

I must say that I was a little hesitate because I thought it was a scam but so far everything seems legit. It seems like a very simple process of getting my debt paid off quicker due to my hardship I'm facing. The only thing I don't like is that my credit score will go down since I'm not making payments directly but I'm being told it will go back up. The counselor I worked with was very friendly and professional.

The people I speak with in customer care are very courteous. However, the program itself is terribly slow. Based on the pitch I was given when signing up, I expected you to do much better than what I have experienced. I was given a number to pay each month and was told that's what was needed to get the job done. I thought you would be working on all accounts at the same time. Not so. One client for 9 months then maybe one more will be added and then another 6 months later or so. I was not told that some creditors would not be contacted by you for 5 or 6 years!!! They will be written off by then anyway. Meanwhile, creditors are losing it and I am in a program that was supposed to alleviate these issues. Then come the pitches from FDR to ADD MORE MONEY to move the FDR program along faster. My credit is tanked anyway so what is the benefit to me? If I had that kind of money I would not have needed debt consolidation.

Easy process and very nice customer service. I hope it won’t mess up my credit. I want to get back on track to continue building my credit. I would definitely recommend a friend once I see everything goes through with mine. Once that happens, I will recommend at least 10 people.

This was not explained to us at all the way things would be. We were extremely mislead and are now in more debt than ever. Oh and don’t forget all of the lawsuits and garnishments. Resolving accounts for less but since they tell you to stop paying your accounts you’re actually just settling what you already owed.

I enrolled in FDR with a person named Kyle ** and he gave me phone number and told me to call with any questions or concerns. I tried to call him several times, and the number he gave me goes automatically to voicemail Saying they are not available and to leave a voicemail. I have left several voicemails and hasn’t heard from the person yet. I am considering canceling the service.

Courtesy and friendly and a job well done. Reasonable and friendly staff to work with. It didn't take long to finish the application. And it didn't take too long to do the process. Thank you very much for the program. It took about two or three years to complete. Love the program.

Most of the representatives had excellent service with me, but there were a few that were rude disrespectful, and made me frustrated… Overall, the ones that were great were absolutely great… I would recommend Freedom Debt Relief because they are reliable and they take care of most of your credit and or all of your creditors… They are a good credit repair company.

I have just started this program and so far nothing has been done. I will know more about the program after I start getting results. The people I have talked with have been very knowledgeable and helpful. I feel this company will be a great fit with me and help me solve my debt.

I believe FDR helps a lot of people who are suffering from knowingly or unknowingly hardship and it’s good some people recommend FDR. It’s hard to find a company of their expertise and commitment. The plan was easy to implement and for me to keep track and learn how best to use my tools and information to help me in my life for my future. Could use more support having to deal with creditors. Very frustrating when they call and all they need to do is just give them the POA so I stop receiving calls. When there is only one of them calling I feel they should help deal with it. Bankruptcy may be a better option if your credit score is going to get ruined anyway.

I was having a little anxiety about this entire process because I've had an excellent payment history. But they've resolved my first deft by half! So, I'm trusting the process from here on out. I'm excited to see where this will lead me with my financial journey. The amount of stress that I was under was a lot and now.... I'm good.

Updated on 02/01/2025: FDR has settled with 2 of 3 of my creditors so far and it's been such a surprisingly easy process. The dashboard is extremely helpful and to the point. I recommend their services to everyone. You will not be disappointed or feel like you're wasting time. Settlements almost reach 50% which is awesome being that the accounts are not that old. Stop the high interests and get your debt settled, fast.

Nothing had been done! No action is being taken?! I have my debt collectors calls daily! It’s been a month and no action has been done. I’m actually scared. No one had reached out to me. I check daily to see if any negotiations have been made but nothing! Where is my $350 going?

You're told you get legal help so you contact legal about court papers to show up. They tell you don't go so I don't go. Now the court are in favor of the cc company. Now I lose more money. Besides that it's been great. I think they should have dealt with the 1 company I had 3 cards with before dealing with a company I had 2 cards with because I had to go to court for those.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Freedom. They have been very helpful and easy to work with. They update me every time they need to. They have also kept me in the loop when they get a settlement on anything. They have been easy to reach when I need them. I just wish the process was a little faster but I understand it takes time to settle on all the accounts

It’s so nice to make one payment and not worry about not having enough in my account. My payments are made and low, low interest rates or none at all. There should be companies to attempt to do mortgages.

My experience with FDR has been far from great…. I was told we would get my debt settled to half… It was not… When I. Originally signed up with Will he told me I was able to do a personal loan since he wasn’t able to see why it would be attached to anything… 3 months of not paying that loan I get a call from my bank saying that loan is connected to my auto loan as well as my horse trailer. They threatened to repossess both.. When I called to see what was wrong with this situation I hardly received any help. I was told “Oh sorry our bad. We should have never enrolled that debt….”

They kept their word when they said my first card would be settled by December. Customer service is excellent from beginning to end and your questions are always answered. I would recommend this company definitely. To know that my credit can be repaired and I am stress free means a lot and that is thanks to Freedom Debt Relief.

I love the program but when you call in to speak with a customer service representative. Need a little more training. They are too eager to get you off the phone instead of helping to resolve your problem. I also inquiry about someone I brought on as well. I was told that I would get $250 toward me my account. I have yet to see that. When I call about it I inform that I had to do leg work. I did the leg work when I ask the person to join. That is not get customer service. I have been in customer service for 20 plus years. Having good customer service when you go above and beyond your job but I guess we don't have those kind of people anymore.

A coworker of mine recommended FDR. She had a situation a couple of years ago and she said it helped her a lot. My experience with them has been great, as well. The rep I worked with was helpful. He answered all the questions that I needed and was able to help me with what I needed. I would like to have gotten a letter or text or brochure explaining the process FDR uses to negotiate and resolve debt issues, along with a reminder about withdrawals from my bank. The whole project is hopeful and I hope to receive progress reports from time to time. Freedom makes everything easy and straightforward for anyone trying to their debt together. Before I had trouble trying to remember every single credit card debt or loans I might have and making the payments on time, but with freedom they streamlined the whole process which saves me a lot of trouble.

The account was almost paid off. Due to error in banking payment 2 days left. They charge the same fee to renegotiate on an account that was previous almost paid off. Paid off all but 2 account they charge those fees again. Twenty thousand down to 5 thousand. Now it will hold up my completion of the program.

Debt collectors or companies owed not contacted early enough to keep interest payments lower. I spoke to reps who said that after speaking with me they called to confirm a debt payment plan and couldn't find anyone to speak to to confirm enrollment and plan. Therefore interest payments kept accruing and settlement is higher than should or could be.

I was over $70,000 in debt barely making ends meet and working paycheck to paycheck. Contacting FDR was the best decision I made in the last year. No longer stress making minimums and still being short of funds for the week. FDR has been very quick in resolving 4/8 accounts.

Well, you need to bring some patience. It takes a while but once everything is done and you start it is a big relief only having one bill a month. It sucks a little bit having poor credit and not being qualified for any aid. I was also surprised that not having any credit cards to use at all is not as much of a burden as I thought it would be. The staff was friendly and helpful to me and my father.

Somebody from Freedom Debt Relief contacted me and I started the program with them. They said, in about 20 to 21 months, I should be debt-free completely. Originally, I was around $9,000 in debt with five credit cards and one loan company. So far, they've settled with the loan company, OneMain Financial, and two credit cards. We have three to go. They paid off the Capital One Walmart card that I had, and they're currently working on the second Capital One Walmart card.
