A tool for a problem. I wish they had been more up front about how they do NOT contact your creditors until they are going to make an offer. It leaves you with the task of talking to them and receiving all their emails about missed payments and regular mail notices of updated account delinquencies.

This was the BEST company to work with to resolve my debt. I feel so much relief having big debt behind me. Everything was done in a timely manner and if there were any questions they were easy to get in contact with. I would highly recommend to anyone that has outstanding debt and needs help with that.

I got to say I was struggling bad to pay my bills and a lot of high interest personal loans and lines of credit and some credit cards. I could not get ahead and was getting very stressed out trying to provide and take care of family and not having enough to pay. Having to borrow from this or that, way to make ends meet from pay check to pay check. Groceries getting higher and all utilities bills getting higher so I called FDR and talked to Jeremey **. He told me the situation I was in and how FDR could help me save several thousands of dollars and get out of debt quicker and half relieve a lot of my stress I been struggling with and so far everything is going great and any questions or concerns FDR is there to respond quickly to you. I didn't realize I have to let my credit go bad for you to start negotiating anything. So I'm paying you and the companies you are supposed to be handling. I haven't seen you make any negotiations with any company. I don't know what you have been working on, I am just spending money.

So far I`ve been treated with dignity and respect. I just started so I don`t have a lot of experience. I haven`t talked to enough people to give you my honest opinion, just really getting started. The service seems to be pretty legit. I, however, was trying to contact the guy who originally set me up but could not get in contact with him Himself. I really need the help to get some of these creditors off my back, and so far it's beginning to work.

When I first started the program, I figured it would be a couple of years at least to get my cards paid off. The folks at Freedom were very honest about how long it would take. They were also very upfront about the calls and how my credit score would drop. Because I was making my payments well, they gave me an opportunity to settle all of my outstanding balances and as of tomorrow, my last settlement will be paid. My credit score is already rebounding.

I saw a commercial for Freedom Debt Relief and I was Googling it, and I didn't end up applying but I received a call from them. Their rep explained the program to me and it sounded like what I needed to do. Because I was going deeper and deeper with no sign of daylight.
During the sign-up, the consultant was very informative and let me know a lot of things that I didn't understand before. She said that I kept trying to pay the minimum every month and I was always concerned about my credit score. But I'm 71 and she said it will take a while for me to get out of it. I've always had a good credit score and I've always paid on time. But it wasn't getting me ahead. I was never gonna get out of debt. She just gave me the numbers and how, in so much time, things would be paid. She made me feel better that there was a possibility of getting out of this debt. She spent a good hour with me that first day.
I have reached out to the direct client services and they've been very helpful. They've already negotiated one settlement with one of my companies so far. It was nerve-wracking till they made offers to others. My phone rings all day long right now from the creditors. I told them I'm going through a financial hardship, that I do plan on paying, and that they will be hearing from Freedom Debt Relief for negotiation purposes with my debt. And that's what I've been telling everybody.
I got a letter from American Express. They have already turned me over to a collection agency and that guy called me a day before yesterday. She said some will try to bully me a little bit.
Freedom will relieve a mountain of stress off me, for sure. I recommend them even if I haven't paid anyone off. I think the program is going to help me drastically. The part right now that's hard for me is all the creditors calling. Because I've never, ever in my entire life been late. I've always made payments. My concern is definitely whether they're going to go after me for not paying.

I am an impatient person but I wish negotiations would be quicker. Otherwise, I am pleased with the process. I also would like a recurring reminder of how fees are calculated…my memory is not the best these days. Every person I have spoken to has been real helpful and courteous.

I needed to get ahead financially. I've done bankruptcy in the past and I didn't want to do that again. So, I thought Freedom Debt Relief might be the next best thing. They seem to be straightforward, that's why I went through them.
I'm paying them a certain amount of money each month and they're negotiating with my creditors one by one. They notify me when they're doing the negotiation and if I agree to the terms. I go by their recommendation if it makes sense. If it's saving me money, I would say yes. The program usually takes three to four years and so far, it's been going well.

FDR was a life saver tackling, and negotiating my debt. It made it easier for me to continue my life and all of what Life can bring while still managing my debt balances. I particularly like the app. It was easy to keep up with how things were going. Employees I dealt with were pleasant and professional. They were honest and truthful. I just saw Freedom’s advertisement and I wanted to give it a try and see what would happen. It's perfect for me. Their customer support was really good. Especially when I first signed up for Freedom Debt Relief, the lady I've talked to was really nice to me. I wished I could hug her because of the way she was talking to me and that she’ll have the bills paid off for me. I was really happy with her.
I track my progress through the dashboard and the emails that they send me at least once a week. I also call their customer service when I have a question or I want to tell them something.
The program has helped me out quite a bit. All I have living is my Social Security check, and so I need Freedom Debt Relief to pay my bills off for me. I don’t know how I would make it without their program. I'm really satisfied.

Working with Freedom Debt Relief is much better than a consolidation loan - lower monthly payment and no interest. I’m glad I responded to the materials I received in the mail. The staff was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They were very patient as we worked through the process. I always have many questions and I just called the helpdesk number. Always help me answer my questions. This program has helped me get out of debt. I have about 18 months left. I would recommend doing this program. It has helped me tremendously. Every department has helped me resolve my debt. I am possibly considering putting in one more credit card to help me get out of debt with it. This program helps put so much money away so that eventually you can be completely out of debt.

I was talked into joining the program. The next day I decided I didn't want to do it. I called to cancel and was told that in 4 days they were going to take my money anyway. He said it couldn't be stopped. Sounds like a lie to me. I was told I would get my money back in 2 weeks. Friday the 18th was 2 weeks and I didn't get my money back. I called and I still didn't get my money back.

Things are moving along. I am always notified of settlements. When I call on phone representatives are always very helpful and knowledgeable, very kind and sincere. Really worked hard to help me with my outstanding debt. I would absolutely recommend this company. Tired of all the calls. I thought FDR would contact everyone and let them know they were working with me. That isn't the case. FDR gets its money right off the bat. While I sit here and deal with the fallout. I was told that in 2 years things would get better. Not sure how that's possible. I know my payments were dragging me under but now I can't even answer the phone.

It’s early days, but so far it’s been great. We’ve sent in the money to be used for resolution. American Express in their daily emails and calls appear stern in the beginning and all says end reminding one that they want to work with the customer to resolve the issue.

Great on time service. I would truly let my friends know about this program because they are reducing all of my debt on my credit card that I have accumulated. I joined FDR in November of 2024 with a total of 5 debts in collection. It is now April 2025 and I have paid off 2 collections so far. The best part of it all is that my credit score went from the 500’s to a 630 within that time frame. I am so happy I joined. Things are looking better for me now.

So far I am very pleased with the whole process... I was in an abusive relationship which landed me in the hospital for a month with extensive physical therapy to follow...while I was incapacitated prior to his arrest, he cancelled my home owners, which lead to the servicing company put their own ins. on it which doubled my mtg payment so I had to chose what to keep and well I chose the house ... The initial consultation was informative and easy to understand. The sign-up process was easy and done quickly. The communication from Freedom Debt Relief concerning settlements and general information is outstanding. Any time I've had a question and called customer service, the rep has been very friendly and takes as much time as is needed to explain and answer all questions. As I look at the fees that's being charged for negotiation, I could have negotiate the creditors myself. I might decide to take over the rest of debts. The fees are more than the negotiation that is being offered from the creditors.. It's not worth using Freedom Debt Relief program. I have 2 years and 11 months to go and majority of the debts are paid.

I contacted this company, Freedom Relief Debt, at the end of September 2023 and set up 7 accounts with them. I was paying the minimum on my bills, but I wasn't behind on my payments. Since Freedom Relief took over my accounts, my credit score dropped drastically, more than 150 points. I couldn't sleep or eat properly. They called me more than 5 times a day, harassing me about the accounts I set up with them.
I called Freedom Relief, and they always told me everything was fine. One of the accounts, the $6,780 debt, wanted to take me to court. They sent me offers removing almost $1,800 from the debt. I sent that information to Freedom, and they never did anything. This other company sent me to the credit bureau, and Freedom never did anything. Currently, since October 2023, they claim to be helping me with my accounts. Two of them are still in the process of negotiating with Freedom. Really??? Since October 15, 2023, they haven't been able to do anything? I've already deposited $4,000 with them, and they're only charging me fees for this and that, and your bills remain the same. I'm going to go straight to my outstanding bills and start paying them myself.

Too many players in the game. Too many players using multiple names to confuse would-be clients. Results in wasted time and wasted money and incomplete solutions to debt problems. THis also results in duplicated effort where I end up being charged for negotiating the same debt debt relief by two or three firms. The winner? Debt holder who gets three "settlements".

The one positive I will say about the program is that they make it easy to add or remove accounts to your dedicated account. Now for the reason I gave them only 2 stars: My total enrolled debt - $46,651.00. The total amount that I will have deposited at program graduation - $42,018.57. This equates to a debt savings equal to $4,632.43 (less than 10%). I recommend you discuss with them the fee % that they are going to take before joining the program.

I've been in a lot of financial difficulties that I don't know how I'm gonna get myself out of, so I called Freedom Debt Relief. I spoke with a gentleman on a Sunday. He was very knowledgeable. He explained the program and how it works. He knew how much debt I was in and I explained to him that I didn't know how I was gonna get out of it. Before we hung up the phone, I said, "I would like to be in the program." The gentleman said he would get back to me, and it was just a little while from the initial call. He said, "I'll get you set up, explain what your payment plan will be per month, then you tell me whether you can do that or not. Then you can set what day you want it to be done on. I will explain all of that after I take a look at all your debt."
He called back and told me how much my plan would be for a month and all the debt that they were gonna take care of. It's everything that I owe to people and other companies. I messaged them back on the first settlement and said I agreed to it. I sent it back and they sent me a message back right away. I wasn't waiting 15 or 20 minutes. They took care of it and got it all set up. Now we go to the next one and so on. Tracking progress has been so simple. They send me a text message and I call them back.
The day I called, I was very nervous. By the time I was done talking, I wasn't nervous anymore. I breathed a sigh of relief knowing that there was somebody there who could help. Freedom Debt Relief’s service is great. I am set up on the dashboard and can go on there speak with them. I've called them most of the time because I'm not really computer savvy. I have many questions and I get them answered. I feel great after I'm done talking with them. Freedom Debt Relief will impact me tremendously. My husband passed away, so I have a lot of debt. This is gonna help me get out of it so that I can breathe. Overall, if you’re in a situation that I'm in, you absolutely need to call and check that program out for yourself. I know what it's done for me.

Able to build my credit score back up and get a better credit rating. This program gave me restoration of my credit. I am able to live a normal lifestyle without debt. I have done debt relief in the past and the way this company operates is very dis-satisfying. They DO NOT notice the creditors that you are working with them and the creditors continue to call and harass. They only work on one creditor at a time and will not have anything to do with any other creditor till they are finished with the one they are working with.

I’m not sure why if I’m giving them amount of money you asked for plus I added $100 and we’re still slow on getting settlements. I still got three more to go and we can’t even probably start those until the one from Belk is done so I’m kind of disappointed in that plus I’ve got somebody named Alex is calling me to try and finance the whole thing and pay give you more money to pay off the debt and I’m not sure about that if that’s on the up and up or if you approve of that. With the FDR assistance finding your current debts and the work they do with settling accounts they make it seem easy to get control of your debts. 6 years flew by and I am so happy to be graduating. I recommend FDR to anyone with debts to be paid with the goal of improving your credit score. I saved a lot of money with the debt settlements arranged by FDR. Great customer service. Updated on 06/07/2025: I got good service. They got rid of one of my debts in two months and are now helping me get rid of another one. The downside is that they charge 25 percent to get this done and when I signed up I was told they only charge 6 percent so who lied to me???
Original Review: I joined Debt Relief in January and they already saved me over 500 dollars. On one of my accounts a 50 percent reduction off my original bill. Now we are going to save even more money with some other accounts that I have with them. I highly recommend debt relief for getting out of debt...

I just started my program with Freedom. The very first night I slept with a peace of mind, I excited to fix my debt so I can actually start to save for my first condo or small house. I didn't know that this was going to be a YADA YADA! But having a program that will defend your true intentions to repay or even a chance to repay is cpitol! Interest charges are constantly causing the original amount to increase. which makes things toughfer to manage especially with the increase of everyday Pricing. Gasoline prices create a struggle to stick with a Budget which waterfalls down to creditors allowed payments to pay bills back in a timely manner.

My husband deals with Freedom Debt Relief and that's how I found out about them. I have recently started the program and so far, everything seems smooth. It started a little bit slow because of how I'm paying. I just had surgery, and maybe it would speed up more if I was working. But for now, it's not bad.
Freedom works with the amount you put in. It could be a little bit better if they do it a different way. I thought that when you go with the program they will pay off the debt for you and you pay them monthly. However, the amount you put in is the amount they will negotiate with.
Their customer support was good. They explain and go through it little by little with you and let you understand. Even if after a month you catch up on yourself and you call, they will go back through the process with you and let you understand more. They're very knowledgeable about what they're doing.
Freedom would help you pay the bill before you pay them monthly. I’d prefer if their program were them taking over the bill and helping you get through the process so your credit score can be back on track.

I don't understand why it takes months wondering why it's going to take 6 months to settle one of my debts. I'm getting harassed getting letters saying they're going to take action. I have been treated well, because I don't know much about tech. They answer my questions even if they are the wall. I would like to know if they have sent anything toward anything. I do get calls and bills from them which I thought I would not get them or am I to contact you each time I get them. I also thought the cards would be close all account that we turned in.

I’ve been with FDR for about 6 months and everything is going great. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. I was behind with payments a few times and FDR helped me without applying any extra fees. I owed 20000 and after I signed I deal with FDR I will be paying 382 monthly with any interests. I would definitely recommend FDR to anyone with credit cards debts.

When I talked to Jeremy he told me he is going to start with Bank of America but it looks like it doesn't go like that and they changed. I want to know why and when I called I have to stay online forever and no one answer phone.

When trying to decide I was told you would contact the companies and handle everything. I was never told this would not happen for some time. I was not expecting to be almost harassed because I did not make payments. My credit rating was not good but this will kill it because of not making payments. I probably would have been better off filing bankruptcy.

I have had a great experience so far with Freedom Debt Relief. I didn’t know much about using a debt relief program until I spoke with the customer service representative who the program to me and was ready to try anything to get my debt down and learn to budget my money. I was able to get my money organized so I had my debt money ready every month so that my monthly money was taken out of my bank account to pay on my bills. In general, I’ve been very pleased with the service of FDR. I was extremely upset, though, when one of my settlements went into default because of a $19 short. I was contacted the day of the settlement going into default and got back to them right away, but it was too late.. Lack of communication caused the settlement to be renegotiated at twice the dollar amount I had owed at the time. Again, in general, I’ve been happy with the communication, website and general approach until this point. I will of course continue until my account is complete.

I was skeptical at first, however have been very satisfied. The help in understanding and helping me see the results have been great. The easiest part is supplying information on my debt. I am in hopes to have my 3 accounts caught up and paid off by early spring. The only thing I find not fair is the raise of amount monthly. They told me a set amount and I'm thinking it's the right amount and at a given time, without notice they raised it, which is hard to deal with other bills and obligations. I figured as the debt goes down, the monthly amount should too.

Yes this is a great company to deal with, they knocked debt close to half. Strongly would recommend to a friend. It didn't take that long and the debt went down very quickly. I can't see why people try to struggle to pay off debt now they can use Freedom Debt Relief.

So far and I am in the beginning stages of the program but I have been very happy with the way that the representative has handled it and the way that they handled the process. Before my first deposit there was a positive feeling that I made the right choice in choosing FDR.

I was with National before, and they assured me they were doing something, but they weren't doing anything except applying an amount to the credit cards I owed. When I spoke to Freedom Debt Relief, they said, “Normally, that's not how it works. It's a service fee with every contact that they make that agrees to whatever.” They did not remove the fee that they had put on, so I canceled the other one and went with Freedom.
The customer support with Freedom is really good. I speak to them often. Just knowing they're out there working for me has helped me feel a little sense of relief.
My life was impacted by my stupidity, but knowing that there are things out there like Freedom helps me get through the week. If a friend or family member ever needed to use a debt relief program, I'd recommend Freedom. It would depend on their needs, and if they matched what I had, I’d tell them to give Freedom a call and see if it helps with what they need.

I had 2 credit card .. That it just seem the more I paid I wasn’t getting anywhere .. At time I couldn’t even make a minimum payment .. So I asked to help and Thank God I did! I am very happy with the help that I got from them!

The consultant from Freedom Debt Relief described everything to me in an easy way. He didn't force me to really commit to a particular deal. I liked what I was hearing, so I just went with the flow. Everything was broken down. I knew exactly how much I had to pay. I set up everything to be automatic. The quality is good so far. I managed to call at some other point in time and I added two more things to the list and everything was taken care of well. I got one settlement so far. I'm looking forward to getting more settlements and cleaning up all this debt and moving on with my life. At one time, I was having a bit of a problem with the website. It was making me want to speak to a live agent by texting. But the last agent that I spoke to walked me through all that and I got rid of the issue.

Before Freedom Debt Relief, I was having difficulty paying all the credit cards that were in line. I was browsing the internet on consolidation or having a personal loan to pay off my credit cards, and Freedom was suggested as one of the options. They asked me for all my credit card balances and talked with the creditors so that they could settle a smaller amount. I devote an amount of money every month, and they save that up so that once the settlement is reached, they use those funds to pay the credit cards that were settled.
They have a website where I can see the payments I made and the payments they're giving to the credit card company. If I have questions or concerns, they have a phone number, and I can also email them through the portal on the website.
With Freedom Debt Relief, they consolidated everything into one amount, and it's lower than the total of the minimum balances I had with five or six credit cards. I would receive calls from the credit card companies, but since my credit card indebtedness is in the hands of Freedom Debt Relief, I feel like I am in good hands. They gave me a script on how to answer those calls. I'm happy that I chose Freedom Debt Relief. They gave me the peace of mind that my credit cards are slowly being settled. Even though I still have to pay, at least I’m on the positive side and able to settle it.

I have had a very good experience with Freedom Debt Relief. They have made handling my debt a lot easier. Dealing with a million creditors was exhausting and they helped with that. Freedom debt relief helped me when I thought I couldn’t get out of debt. It was easy to communicate with them, via text, email or the app. I now am payment free and credit card debt free! I had too many accounts to handle myself. Freedom Debt relief made it easy with all the accounts in one place.

I enjoy the way Freedom handles everything from setting up the payments to creditors as well as managing the dedicated account. I wish there were less fees because I noticed I ended up paying close to one of the accounts in full after Freedom's fee kicks in. Other than that I like the way this is working.

Need more communication with clients during the process. Being in the dark is stressful. I would like to have updates on a weekly basis which gives me a better understanding of where we are at in the process. It's good to have a settlement completed and things look good down the road.

The person that I spoke with was very helpful and I was able to make my decision on what we discussed. I am hoping that all my debt will get resolved. I have checked and so far only 1 of my debts has been paid. The others shows on hold, which I'm not understanding. But I realize that it does take time. I would certainly appreciate my representative whom I spoke with will let me know how it's going and if there is something else that I need to do.

When I was having problems with creditors the legal department handled it in a quick and effective manner. Whenever I have called in the customer service has been excellent. I would definitely recommend FDR to family and friends. So far, I have had nothing, but great news come from Freedom Debit Relief. Every one of the accounts I have listed with them has been settled for at least half if not more than what I owe to my debtor's. It feels great not to have annoying phone calls and unwanted emails come in on a daily basis. And it feels even better to know soon I will be debt free.

They settle 2 of my debts within 1 month of starting the program and are already trying to settle another. I was doubtful about the whole thing but it's working and when I get the chance I do send in extra money to finish the program sooner to start to build my credit back up.

Yes they have definitely helped me! We had a issue at first with a loan but it got resolved! They have already after 6 months resolved about 4 of my cards. I could have not did this by myself. It’s been a big relief to have this off my shoulders!

I am glad to have Freedom Debt Relief handle my credit card issues. Without this service, I would have drowned in debt. Coming up on financial hardship is not easy and being able to be a part of this program is truly allowed me to not only become more and more financially stable again, but also see my debt disappear one by one with just making my payments on time.
