Updated on 05/26/2025: So far, so good. Just had another debt taken care of. Thrilled..! It'll still be a while but little by little it gets done. The one thing this whole experience has opened my eyes to is be aware of what I spend, where I spend. I make all my deposits!

The enrollment process was pretty easy. They went through everything with me. I'm still in the program. I got two debts taken care of and we're working on a third one right now. It's going pretty good. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Enrolling was really simple. The agent that helped me doesn't work there anymore, but she was very personable and friendly. She helped me go through the process in due order. So, it was a very smooth process. I'm still in the program. I still got a couple of more debts to negotiate and resolve. But so far, it's going just like they said it would. It's slow but steady. I keep getting notifications from some of my creditors, but otherwise, it's going pretty smoothly.

Freedom Debt Relief has been getting through with what I need them to do and I'm happy with that. Their rep is very polite and professional.

So far everything is happening that was described to me in the very beginning. It is working. When I first called I was a little uncertain but talking to the person who contacted me I felt like I could go forward. I stopped payments on my accounts, they started to call me and I told them I would pay but I couldn't right now.

Updated on 02/07/2025: I do not know how to evaluate this help... other than to say thank you... for what you are doing for me! I am not sure what is going on right now, I am getting my credit all messed up, I'm getting hacked, money is being stolen from my account.... I'm not sure what bills are paid.... I'm very confused, I don't even know what my credit score is.... Can someone tell me? I feel as if I have been hung out to dry. I need to get these bills paid.... Can your group get my phone bill all caught up, and I'm not having to pay hundreds of dollars, for the next .... years? I AM VERY SCARED, AND CONFUSED!! I'M NOT SURE WHAT TO THINK OR BELIEVE....

I owe over 20,000 and they helped me lowering my debt. Any questions I had they were there to assist and answer them. And they also take their time to answer all your questions and concerns. They also gave a faster solution to finish paying my debt and so get my credit score back to where it was.

FDR takes a 25% fee, so if your negotiated settlement is a 40% reduction, you only save 15%. I feel like I could negotiate a better deal myself and not pay the 25% fee. For what they do, the amount of the fee seems extreme. They have no risk as the debt remains your responsibility.

I'm only halfway through this process, but I can tell that this program does what they say that they're going to do, and it really works. Would use again if I was in the same situation. So far my total debt has been reduced to a third of what it would have been if I hadn't used Freedom Debt Relief.

Slow to react to my communication the person who is assigned to my case. Sent several emails to you about changing collection agency and never had a response. One creditor wrote off my balance and is still showing as a negotiations pending. Hope for better results in the future. Thanks.

I had foot surgery a year ago. I am a very active nurse with 2 jobs. The hours lost for my 8 week recovery really put me behind. Freedom Debt Relief has allowed me to combine my debt for a lower, doable payment & allowed me to get back up on my feet (literally).

I haven't had any major problems concerning my account. It's not a swift program but it's productive and it's take away a lot of anxiety and stress knowing that FDR is working in your favor, most of my accounts have been negotiated and some of in the reviewing stage. Throughout the program, you still have the ability to enroll a new debt to your program.

This is my 2nd stint with FDR and the experience is just as great as the first time. The staff is professional and if one sticks to the program, you will be out of debt before you know it. I highly recommend this program for anyone who has debts over 10K. You will not regret it.

I have talked to Citi and they want to talk to Freedom but Freedom won't call them!!!! They told me yes they want to settle with Freedom. I want this done asap! I want both Citi cards added so I can start fixing my credit score!! This is taking way too long.

I am currently facing financial difficulties, a situation that has persisted since July. Although I managed to keep up with my payments until September, by October, I found myself unable to continue. When I reached out to FDR for assistance, the initial response was understanding, and they paused my payments. However, my subsequent interaction in early October was far less pleasant; the representative I spoke with was not only rude but also attempted to intimidate me by suggesting that failure to make a payment could result in legal action from debtors. Despite explaining my inability to resume payments until the start of the new year, I was presented with two choices: pause payments or opt-out. Choosing the latter under the impression that I could restart payments in January seemed like my best option.

Yes I will recommend to a friend. Getting a list together. Our customer service personal rep is amazing and very caring. Byron ** in a whole different time zone but always make himself available for me and my husband. He is so great and we trust him is why I am staying.

I'm very excited to be working with Freedom to help resolve my debt. They have been very precise and professional about explaining to me on how the program works. I will have my debt paid off sooner and at a lower balance than what the creditors asked for. Now, I'm trying to help with my husband's debt.

I have not heard from them since I signed up. Left several messages but no response. I have no idea if this is even helping. I called two days after signing up and heard nothing was told to call if any questions but no one will answer. Am I doing the right thing or not. I don’t know

As I feel anyone would feel a little hesitant with moving forward making a decision like this. But I can honestly say that right from the start it was one of the easiest things I have ever done in my life. Which in turn helped with reassuring myself that I made the right decision. I would highly recommend going through the steps and working with them to help solve your debt needs. If I can be of any help, I would greatly recommend my representative.

I didn't expect much but they have already resolved my biggest debt. Woo hoo. They are easy to talk to and explain everything so I can understand it. I had no other recourse as interest was eating me up. I hope to be free of all my debt in a couple of years.

Things have not be explained clearly. I'm now getting e-mails requesting me to fill out tax forms but I'm unable to open documents. And it's now the 6th and my payment has not come out of my bank account. Will I be charged for your error. I need someone to tell me what is going on.

Updated on 07/08/2026: Received an email regarding an account I did not respond. The FDR representative called me the next day to see if I had filled out the DocuSign. I shared I was not sure if this was a legit. Because he called and took the time to explain I then went ahead and filled out the Docu sign. Calling me to confirm the email was replied to helped me to ensure it was FDR and not a SCAM.

Updated on 01/16/2025: This is my first time working with Freedom Debt Relief, and I’m glad I did. I have 2 and I’m very satisfied with it so far. It was also fairly quick to get the settlements to approve or reject and both were accepted because they were great offers. Thank you FDR.

I am very pleased with FDR and would definitely recommend them to a friend. I am very pleased with the updates and notices to my email. And like the text messages asking for my authorization to pay before they close a settlement. Their website is easy to follow as well and I can see how much money in my account at all times.

I Freedom a rating of good. This is my first closure of debt. I am satisfied and I am the ratings will go higher. Now my support team is awesome, they check with me to see if I have any concerns or problems. They keep me updated on the progress of the relief process. They’re very courteous and respectful, as well as showing concern about my situation. I’m satisfied and I have made a referral to some friends.

When we signed up you all was understanding about our first payment had to wait. When we called to make our payment. You was nice to tell us we had to wait till the date it was due. Jackson was helpful and answered all of our questions. He found the ones we need and submitted those.

Barely starting the program so will see the outcome soon, read all the comments from others on the program. I seen excellent comments so I did join in to get out of debt asap. The representative are very helpful and courteous. They also have you call if you have any questions regarding your account.

All aspects of how the process works and expectations were clearly explained. All questions were throughly explained. Overall explanations and concerns were discussed along with the potential time line required throughout. There was no stress and was not hurried to make a quick decision. The calmness and patience and respect that was shown me wasn't appreciated.

Freedom Debt Relief has been excellent to work with, they worked hard at negotiating my debt and resolving them. Everyone I spoke to was kind and courteous and really appeared to care about helping me resolve my debt. They even resolved several of my debts earlier than expected. It helped me rebuild my credit profile faster.

I have not had any experience except over phone but it was very good. No one has taken $$ from my account to put on designated acct. I was told it would be taken out Nov 2nd. Perhaps that is because of weekend and my bank is closed on Saturdays?

Their call center it’s rude and impatient. Talked to two customer service agents and they were rude and arrogant. They wanted to rush me off the phone, and didn’t want to take the time to explain what the process was, and they were ready to let me go as a customer.

Helping me with my debt problems. They were very helpful, helping resolve my credit card debt. The representative I dealt with was very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable dealing with her. This should help me with my money issues. In four years I should be debt free. And get my credit back on good standings.

I'm really very thankful and happy that I went this route. There are so many options on how to try to fix debt but usually it's scary because you don't know where to start or who to trust. The trick with this program, is to be PATIENT, and let them do their job. IGNORE the offers to go with creditor options to resolve your debts with them... This part is tricky because you wonder, "am I doing the right thing??" Well I can say from personal testimony that you are.

DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE. You can do much better on your own. The Creditors will work with you directly and give you MUCH better settlements. FDR will charge you for each settlement, make you wait to settle until the accounts go into collection. They do nothing but take your money and drag out the process as long as possible. If your account was say, 1,800, they wait MONTHS until the interests have driven it up to 2500. Then they 'settle' the account for 1,700 BUT THEY CHARGE you each month for charging you, AND a 'settlement' fee!!! You end up paying more, losing your credit and the Creditors get paid a paltry sum. FDR should be shut down immediately. They are NOT ON YOUR SIDE. They are on their own side. In Business to take advantage of people struggling to pay off their accounts. Do it yourself. You will SAVE a TON of money.

I was in trouble financially. On a fixed income, using credit cards, no budget I found myself getting behind after a few unexpected expenses because I was buying my house. Then a close friend said to me one day, "You should call Freedom Debt Relief." She was enrolled with them and was finding relief. So I called and they asked me some questions and told me I was eligible, explained my options and how the program works and I signed up that day. I have not regretted my decision for a minute. I have had great customer service and FDR has worked with me and have always been cooperative. FDR has given me options for quicker graduation and I never felt pressure to take on any alternative ways of paying down my debt. My experience with talking to customer service was always excellent. However I would ask for more one on one calls from them at least once a week to see if there were any questions, was I uneasy about how things were going, did any collections call and how could they help with any nervousness or handling of the calls. Yes the dashboard is very helpful. However placing such trust of my finances, the length of time for every account to be finalized is a bit scary and not even knowing Freedom and expecting to place such trust in this, well, a courtesy call to touch base, to say, "Here we are for you and expecting computer to replace human." Yes I know there are thousands of people Freedom is dealing with each day but it sure would be helpful to ease that fear and uneasiness.

The main account I needed help with that I was told after I signed up with FDR, FDR wouldn’t help me with. AFTER I was told I could be help with this account. They start you off being really nice and they’re gonna help you and you can call them anytime in and every time you call you get a different person at Customer Service and nobody can answer you on this account that I needed help with, and then I find out that you don’t contact all my accounts until I have some money in my account to help with it even though you gave me an amount to pay for help it’s just a big mess. So I was the one that had to call all my creditors. I was the one that sent them letters. I was the one that did all the foot work when I was asking for help I had to figure stuff out by myself being my own advocate, I just fell that I was misled.

I like that I can call with any questions and they will help me right away. I really like Shaun **. He’s very patience and kind and very helpful! Everyone I have dealt with is ready to help you. I believe this is the right way to go to pay off my debts and have peace of mind. I’m so ready to be free and clear with my debts and not worry anymore of having to pay high interest n never seeing my debts go down!

There is absolute clarity with everything, which I greatly appreciate. Everyone has been patient and thorough in explaining things. Everything seems clear and understandable. The ONLY reason why this is not a 5* rating is due to a couple of User Interface/Experience pieces that I feel made my experience a LITTLE more inconvenient. 1. I would have really liked to have had the ability for immediate deposits into my dedicated account either through a Debit card transaction or even being able to have the deposit made for the next day (as it is you have to wait a few days before they start the deposit and then it takes an additional 5 days for it to settle in your account and be reflected and be useable)

I was not made aware of the fees I would have to paid for the negotiations. I am grateful for the service but would have been nice to know of the fees up front. I understand that FDR has to make a profit from the services but give the consumer a chance to decide. I would like for FDR to revisit the information shared with prospects and give them the full picture upfront.

They were very good to work with. They were Knowledgeable and courteous. They accomplished what they promised. My credit has improved. I will now be able to manage my finances. I will be more cautious about use of credit cards. Thank you for all your help.

Freedom Debt Relief helped me negotiate some of the interest off of my loans, pay a monthly payment, and get it under control. It's manageable. I can still get them paid back without having to go file bankruptcy. The process with Freedom was okay. They give good communication as far as back and forth with emails and their verification department. They also have their support department as well. So, I'm happy with that.

I don't have much experience with them now as I just signed up. But I have a great piece of mind now knowing that my credit cards are being taken care of, some of which are 28% interest. I'm sure I'll have a much more positive review when I finish the program.

Unhappy with fact that there is no immediate contact to the creditors from FDR. You're just letting things pile up. Not what I expected for the fee you have added. Why would you not contact them? That's kind of the point isn't it.

I am extremely nervous about giving my information to anyone because of having been a victim of a scammer before. Every time I have expressed my concerns with my account managers with Freedom they have been very kind and understanding and taking time to explain things a little bit longer to me and a little bit more in depth so that I would understand what is going on. I came to freedom after being enrolled in another program who was less than reputable and they did not take the time to explain things nor were they doing things up and up. So by the time I got freedom I was very leery of joining any type of debt consolidation.

I would have been better off not doing this it has hurt my credit really bad. I have had threats and calls from some of the creators and it will take years to recover from it. I didn’t know I would end up having to get another loan with higher credit rate than I had to start with. I wished I would have not done this.

A Combination of poor economy and some bad decisions I found myself overextended. I am grateful to Aaron and FDR. They gave me hope for a better future without going bankrupt. I can finally sleep at night, Thank you FDR and team. Most people deny they are in debt, don't wait till it gets to be overwhelming.

I couldn't be happier with the experience we've had with Freedom Debt Relief. We have only made 3 payments and they have already resolved one of our accounts and are working on the others. Customer service is also great. They have been very polite and knowledgeable every time I have called and spoken with them. They are doing exactly what they said they would.

1st Step into the program. As with any program it's always started slow and then being too excellent at resolving the issue at hand. My suggestion is to dispute the creditors because the information is NOT always correct as it seems to be. Plus, have you ever heard of cellular company prorating your first and last months Data usage and send you a very expensive bill Three months later. Oh, yeah. And sell your bill to a company that has No clue. In conclusion, when you required a copy of the cellular contract from the original company. You are considered rude and hostile over the phone.

I don't know yet. My first payment hasn't even been made yet. However I did like the amount of money I will be paying each month. I was with some else and the payments were 615 a month. I can't afford that. And they've only settled one thing in a year and a half.

I must say that the personnel that I have dealt with so far are very professional and are always willing to help you whether it’s about the program itself or if you technical issues. To be honest I feel confident that my goal will be met. I would recommend it my family and friends.

Updated on 06/18/2025: I have been working with Freedom Debt Relief for over a year and they have provided excellent service. About one third to one half of my accounts have been negotiated and settled for far less than I thought was possible. I am very happy with their service, their friendliness, and their professional demeanor.

I'm just satisfied with giving this review. I've been trying to get this done for the last 20 minutes and basically what I want to say is that I'm getting too many calls from creditors. I'm wondering just what I should do as to directing them in your direction. Do I need a number?

Many people are in debt because of today’s inflation. When I heard about this option on Megyn Kelly’s show I felt it was worth taking a look at. I was very impressed with the information I received and how well they answered all my questions. I felt I was able to make an informed decision and I feel like my financial situation will improve.

As I am only one month into the program, I am greatly impressed with the follow-up of the communication to myself, yet to see or know communication with my debtors. I have received no demand letters, only received notices of late payment but was expecting that. I have and will continue to recommend this program to others who have allowed themselves to be overcome by their debt burden.

I received an offer in the mail from Symple Finance and called for a debt consolidation loan and was redirected to a debt relief program. The offer is a good plan to have a smaller monthly payment and get out of high-interest debt faster with the trade-off being my credit score will take a hit. I understood the offer and accepted. It's only been a month but if everything goes as planned it will be a good choice. Time will tell and I will re-review in 12 months.

The service has been great so far. Everything was explained down to the tee. Every time I need some help anybody I get ahold of and talk to handles it with great care. If it wasn’t for this company I would be in a bad rut and not know how to resolve my debt. I would recommend anyone who needs help with debt to this company.

It was good to know you have people who care and listen. FDR came up with the best solution that I can afford to do at this time. I have a Rep. That I can call for any questions. The only thing is you have to get a certain amount before they start calling anyone.

I'm glad to only have been with this debt relief company for 5 months. I really started looking at where my money was going. Didn't seem logical paying in $216 a month but only seeing $92. being paid out to one creditor. I paid in $1080. minus $460. 5 x$92. payments. The rest was all fees to the company $620. How is this really helping the struggling consumer? And the accounts that weren't being paid were still racking up interest and over the limit fees. What a rip off. Don't use this company. Great customer service and support, Very quick to answer the phone. Always resolved any issue I had. Would recommend them to anyone. Also the service they provide is great. They helped to knock down my debt in half. Give them a try. I looked at several different programs out there and FDR outshined them all.

So far Freedom debt has lived up to every expectation. They're doing everything they promised. I am very grateful for everything they're doing. Very excellent, I can now feel relief and sit back for my debt is being taken by Freedom Debt Relief. They are very good and can save your problems as easy as expected. I was owing $12000 and when Freedom Debt Relief came to my aid I will only pay 9000 for 4 years with an amount of 80 dollars biweekly.

They have been incredibly thorough in explaining the process to me. They have answered all my questions with great professionalism and friendliness. I only recently started the program, and they have already been working very hard to negotiate all my debt. I am genuinely pleased with how things are progressing at this early stage of the program.

Don't like how the places aren't notified about the process. Still being charged interest and getting calls along with papers about getting sued. This is why we turned to Freedom Debt Relief and so far just not happy with the process. I feel things should be handled differently. By the time I get to the last collectors, I will owe a small fortune.

Everything from the beginning to now has been extremely professional. I have always been informed and kept aware of the process. I would recommend Freedoms services to anyone needing financial help. This company took funds out of my bank account without my authorization. When I called to resolve this issue I was told the money couldn't be returned to me because it was processing. I was put on hold to speak to a manager. A manager never spoke to me. The two agents I spoke with did not have any urgency to help me. I have still not resolved this matter.

Freedom Debt Relief was advertised on television, and I was curious with it once before, but I didn't apply. Time went and passed, then I reached back out to Brett, a guy I spoke with. He was very phenomenal, communicative, patient, and informative. He takes care of the customers as he wants to be treated, and he has great integrity and ambition to go through all that. I followed up with him, and he was glad to help me. I signed up, and the process was simple. It was just a matter of inputting my information. The reps are very explanatory of how the system works and how would it benefit me. The program works for me because it's saving me money every month. I'm also in a settlement already, which is quicker than I thought it would be. Now, they're working everything out for me.

Without FDR I seriously do not know where I would be. I am sure in debt to knowing I can not do it on my own. I was browsing on the web and looking for options. I looked at three companies before I decided on Freedom Debt Relief. I liked the reviews and the comments. And it has been around for a long time. FDR has helped me settle one debt so far and we’re working our way to the number two soon. I only had three accounts so after that, I'm good. The guy who helped me broke the program down to the simplest form. People should save the stress and just sit down, consolidate, make a plan and attack it that way. There’s no need to stress about that if you got somebody that's gonna fight for you.

I asked to have a creditor contacted and I was told that they don't do that until it is time to settle that debt. I have two creditors that are "bugging" me and it would be great if I could get them off my back. Unfortunately, they are at the end of my settlement and I will have to deal with them and pray they don't decide to file a lawsuit.

Would highly recommend to get out of debt. Makes it easier to get paid off with monthly payments you can afford. They can get what you owe down a lot, which really helps. You can go to your dashboard and see everything that is being done. Simple and easy. You can add extra payments if you want to get it paid quicker.

Freedom allowed me to finance the repairs on my vehicle and pay it off interest free. So I was able to continue my normal life and not have to worry about the stress of paying for the repairs and bills. I would definitely reuse the service again if I need it.

I sent documents about upcoming court about court hearing and no response from you people. Then it went to court while I moved to Oklahoma. The creditor got settlement and now I’m paying garnishments out of my pay check. I did my part and they got settlement against me with no help or advisement from you.

They do what they said they would do. I love that I’m kept informed. It’s great to have someone working on your behalf! It’s such an amazing feeling when one by one acts gets resolved. To see them ask if it’s ok with you the negotiation amount. Know every step of the way the going on!

I’m very happy with the progress of my debt program. The staff is patient, understanding, and kind. Everything I was told would happen has happened as my team said it would. I was quite skeptical at first but I’m very happy that I made that call. I’m a very happy customer.

They've done an excellent job in terms of helping me get out of the heavy credit card debt I have. They notify me when the creditor agrees to settle the debt and it's about 3/4 of what I actually owe. My advisor is also helpful and has been great at answering my questions.

When I signed up I was assured I’d have a dedicated account manager. I tried contacting him after paperwork was signed because a debt was left off and I never heard from him again. I was also told 4 years to completion and it is going to take closer to 6. I constantly submit documents from creditors contacting me and I just get a response that it was received. Nothing has been done. More than one account has gone to collections with FDR doing nothing. I was led to believe they would be a go between for me.

Very friendly and helpful with my issues. Kristen ** was very helpful and went through how things would occur in the next few months. The monthly payments are set so that it won't be stressful for me. Walked me through each step of the process. I just need to get the number to give out when calls start coming in. I forgot to get this.

In the beginning I received great information, feedback and HELP! Now I get nothing. No help. Short answer. Denying any assistance. I keep getting court documents. I send them to the email. In the beginning they were handled, in the middle I was given my attorney's office information to give to creditors, and now I get a crappy response, "We aren’t lawyers!" Ummmm what’s happened??? At this point I cannot be done soon enough.

We had gone with Global Debt Relief and they were being sued by an individual and caused the company to go stagnate as our debtors continued to write and or call and we had no answers for them! Freedom Debt Relief helped me to get out my debts of my eight credit cards for less than four years, I'm finished and graduated last August 2024. FDR staff and customer service that I talked to are all friendly, nice, respectful and did their good job to their clients. The services are great though you have to pay for every credit card debt they settle for you. It should be a one time fee charged to you, since the goal is to help you get out of debt. The charges are based in the amount of the credit card debt. However it was a better alternative than bankruptcy for me.

I understand why you wait to contact companies to settle debts but the companies have every right to try to collect their money. When I called to stop auto debits for monthly payments, I told the companies that I was in a debt relief program. When I would call your office to relay the previous contact, I was told you would not be contacting the company for quite some time. When the companies would not hear from you verifying I was in the program then they restarted the debits taking money I could not afford, negating the whole intent of the program.

I have to say I was NOT to impressed with FDR. The wheels just seemed to be spinning, with nothing getting done. Then all of a sudden BAM I've got like 7-8 accounts settled. Trust them, and their system, and poof debt is gone. I still have like 2 1/2 years to go, but with that so will the 50,000 debt I had.

The folks that I worked with were very positive and explained every step in process to me. When I have called back with question, they were very professional and very positive. When I could not make my first payment and asked them to push it back a week, they were very positive and moved the date and explained what it not a problem moving to a temporary date.
