I couldn’t make a change in my plan 3 days before my schedule withdrawal. My funds will not be in my account until Tuesday night instead of Monday night. It’s supposed to be withdrawn on the 15th and wouldn’t be there until the 16th.

Our banking partners do require 3 business days' notice to when making changes to scheduled drafts. I do not like that I can’t have a creditor paid off, when there is more than enough in my account to pay them off. I think it is a ridiculous now policy you have. Why can’t a payoff be done, while you are negotiating with another ceditor??? You have enough so pay them off.

I didn't realize there would be such a big percentage at settlement. I didn't realize the fee would be charged on each settlement. It's like waiting until enough interest has accrued on the account and then a settlement is reached.

Advise what to do when receiving letters from creditors when they assigned account to other collections agency, and what the best actions it may take by notifying FDR. Always stay on top to programs progress, deposit account base on program agreement. Had a great conversation with customer service representative. She’s very polite, knowledgeable about what FDR can provide in a very professional way. Things are going well and feeling very comfortable already as this program progresses. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I needed to be sent in US Postal mail the verification of contracts with Freedom Debt Relief. And never received word back. They also need to update my client dashboard. I am making payments. But not able to keep track, due to electronic communications, my balances and when creditors receive their actual settlement payments.

I have not been in a debt relief program in over 25 years. Therefore, the process has drastically changed. I needed credit card relief to begin preparing for retirement in 4 years. I checked there was an envelope from Freedom Debt Relief. The counselor provided immediate assistance to my need. The challenge is the waiting period for the negotiations and settlement in addition the constant phone calls from the creditors. The creditors have programs too. I provided the creditors Freedom’s contact information when the called. My goal is to keep up my payments and to make the first settlement because from this point Freedom was giving me relief.

My husband recommended Freedom Debt Relief. Their reps have been fast and very professional. The program somehow relieves stress, but on the other hand, it stresses me a little bit because of the effect on my credit. It’s a really bad effect but I have no choice but to do this. Also, the reps should follow-up on the debtor so they can do it quicker. But so far, everything has been fine.

FDR's reps have been really helpful to me about things that I didn't know about. They've also been really helpful in telling me what to do. They're always on my dashboard, let me know everything, what they're working on and what I need to do. They're always communicating with me. It has also been pretty easy to contact them when I have any issues. They're very polite and take the time to help me with questions that I might have for them. I will be telling coworkers that I have Freedom Debt's thing. Previously I was not getting anywhere paying cards off and living from paycheck to paycheck. Being in FDR's program helps out a lot. I'm satisfied and I recommend them.

I was online looking for debt relief companies. I was reading some of the reviews and I decided to go with Freedom Debt Relief. My experience is going fine. I am surprised at how fast the process has progressed. I did the loan to settle the debt quickly. And I will have one loan once they settle the last account. When I signed up, I was a little confused when they said bi-weekly payment. That didn’t mean that on the month that you get three checks, you’re making three payments rather than just two. Other than that, the payment plan was okay.

With medical stuff and losing my part time job, I couldn't do it any other way. I went with a company for a couple of months, and they were awful. I got to searching ratings and different thing. I called a couple, and National Debt Relief wouldn’t take me. I found Freedom Debt Relief, and it had a pretty good rating, and different things. So, I finally just took a chance and I’ve been pleased so far.
The representative, Peggy, was very congenial and informative, and assured me that I could call her any time I had a question. What she would tell me, she would do right then. I didn't have to wait. And she was always available to me. For the payment plan, Freedom Debt wanted me to do one thing, and I said I couldn't do that. Peggy came back and said yes, that I could do that. It was really a little more than what I could actually do. It’s not easy, but I’m doing it. I can feel relief inside.

I called Freedom Debt Relief, and I liked the person that I talked to the first time. She was very helpful. I got a different person now that I’m talking to, but they’ve all been so very helpful and very nice to me. Whenever I tried to get in contact with them, they answered my questions. Every time I have emailed or messaged my consultant she’s always gotten back with me.
The only thing I didn’t realize, and probably that’s my fault, is that there's so much stuff to take in and so much to read and do. I just couldn’t grasp it all. Also whatever they saved me, I would have to add to my taxes at the end of the year, and pay tax on it. So that will cost me extra, above what I’m paying them each month to consolidate, to resolve the debt. But that’s the only thing, so far, that I’ve been concerned about. They said I will finish the program in about 24 months. But they dropped it some since two of my accounts have been resolved. It’s just one account left. So they said it's 23 months now.

I had a very good experience with FDR. There are times when you feel you are not doing the right thing and nothing seems to be happening. The hardest part of the process for me was not stopping the use of credit cards, but watching my credit score drop. I knew it was going to drop but it was difficult nonetheless. Once you get to the first settlement, you feel such a relief.

Updated on 08/25/2020: FDR has gotten me down to the last settlement and it feels great. They have been very good about keeping me informed of OUR progress. It's just a matter of time and waiting till the last horse leaves the starting gate.
Original Review: Freedom Debt Relief is awesome. It was a little rocky at the start, but now I'm used to it. Everything runs so smooth. They have made awesome progress in getting rid of my debt. Bills that would take me 7 yrs to pay off take only 3 months through them. Once the creditors find out that FDR is helping you they back off. Since I turned my debt over to FDR my life has been very quiet.

While I am satisfied with the progress, there have been a couple of debts that could have been paid off for very little that were not handled. I also understand that FDR wants their money but I found the fees, not to be excessive but a lot at times where other debts could have been alleviated. I was very disappointed that a lending organization was given access to my situation but the settlement would have cost me more than the FDR settlement. My understanding was that this was done with your approval. Otherwise, good work.

I like the product that FDR is providing to help assist people with reducing and/or eliminating their debts. However, some of the policies and procedures for requesting to withdraw money I of your dedicated account are inaccurate and unfair to the customer and client. Also, the reps in Customer Service need to be retrained or coach better by the supervisor. I say this because just recently I had two “bad” experiences with customer service department. Everything is going good with Freedom Debt Relief. I had contacted National Debt Relief first. I was comparing prices because I was at the point where I didn’t know what I was gonna do. I was at my wit's end. And Freedom Debt Relief was better than them. Their reps have been awesome. Any questions that I’ve had, they’ve answered them with no problem and no hesitations. So, I have no complaints. I was impressed with my consultant's knowledge in regards to being understanding and listening to what I need and what I want as my end result.
The payment plan that Freedom Debt Relief provided me was good. It allowed me to have some type of relief that my stress isn’t like it was. I’ve paid off one debt that I’ve put in there. There are two that are under a payment plan through them. I need to call Freedom Debt Relief because I have one that is refusing to work with them. I’m assuming because they keep sending me notices in regards to what I owe and what I need to do. So, I need to know what I need to do. I tried to recommend Freedom Debt Relief to someone, but they said they didn’t work with people from Kansas. So, that’s something they might wanna look into.

With Freedom Debt Relief, I liked the ease of somebody calling me back. They provided me with a debt relief program towards my credit card. My experience with the debt consultant was awesome. Everything they told me was true. It was a little slow getting started, which they said it would be. And once it started, it got finished really quickly. We had a quite a few bills. My husband passed away, and I’m going through hell and high water now trying to keep up. I only have two credit cards now, and I don’t charge on them. I’m getting them down to the balance and I just wanna pay them up. I don’t owe that excessive amount. I've been with Freedom Debt for about a couple of years, and they’re always helpful. I was getting short of funds. Freedom Debt Relief was the first one who reached out to me. They contacted me over the phone, and the rep was okay. I didn't really understand the full extent of what they're gonna do to me. I thought they are going to settle my account and I paid them, but they waited for my creditors to run after me and charged me fees after fees, and my credit score went down to the lowest, which I did not expect. I thought they're helping me but apparently, I wasn't helped. I was really disappointed. They waited for my creditors to run after me and keep sending me threatening letters and phone calls.
Freedom Debt Relief said that they are waiting for the creditor for them to settle with them. They waited too long. They said that they are going to wait until everything is settled and then they will put them together. And that's when they endorsed me to Consolidation Plus which should have been done in the first place, instead of waiting for the creditors to run after me and lower my credit score to the poorest, which I haven't been in my life. They haven't settled with my creditors, but they said that they are right now because they got the settlement from the last creditor.

I sought for the help of FDR mostly for my medical debt. The rep talked about the program and let me know how they went about talking to creditors and getting settlements. And then she walked me through the process of getting the one that said that I had to do automatic monthly payments. She let me know that that wasn’t true and how to get that stopped. And then we went through the enrollment process.
The only problem I had personally with the enrollment process, and it’s not a dig or anything, one of the ladies I spoke to had a really heavy accent, so it was kinda hard for me to understand her. Other than that it was really streamlined and really easy to do since they stayed on the phone while doing it and made themselves available by direct email.

Freedom Debt Relief has worked on half of my debt, and I had 11 more cards that were taking me to court. FDR couldn't answer anything when I called and asked them a question about it. They don't answer all my questions most of the time, but they’re okay. Trevor, the lawyer who has been working with me, has been wonderful too. I figured that when FDR made the payment arrangements, I would be good, but when Trevor looked into whatever he needed to do, the remaining creditors wanted me to pay them an extra $500. Trevor postponed the other 9 cases and in some way, FDR worked out an agreement with two of the cards. I wasn’t expecting this to come up like that, but I wanted to pay my debt and I know that it’s being paid, so I’m good with it.

I liked what Freedom Debt Relief was advertising, and they sounded more truthful than most companies on what they were talking about. I signed up and I was more comfortable dealing with them. I always get somebody different whenever I talk to someone on the phone, but the service that I get from them is excellent. I've been in the program for about 2 years now and they've helped change a little bit in my finances. I have a little more in my pocket now than I did before. So far, they’ve been able to take care of all my bills for me. They haven't worked on some, but I’ve been handling those myself. Freedom has been doing good on all the ones I’ve turned in and they're negotiating for me.

In 10 months I paid almost 4500 into my debt account and they paid less than 500 towards settlements. They put me in a worse position than when I started with their program. The settlements that they arranged were decent except for the large fee that was added. I could have gotten almost the same settlement with the companies directly without 2000 in fees.

When I reached out to Freedom Debt Relief, they really explained the process and what I should expect to occur. I was looking for their services and they fulfilled a need that I had, but their customer service really sold me on it. They really did a good job of making me feel comfortable with moving forward. The person I talked to initially was extremely helpful. He made me feel safe and secure in my decision making. He answered any questions that I had. Although there were one or two that he said he’d have to check on something, he got back with me within a short amount of time.
I gave FDR the accounts and the amounts that I owed then they let me know how much I would put into the dedicated account to have it accumulate to eventually settle debts. I pay a certain amount every month, which is less than what I was paying in debt and it would be done within a period of five years. It has not been a year and they’ve already made the initial payments on three out of the about eight accounts. It has been a pain-free experience and so easy. You just follow the instructions they give you as far as referring your collectors to them. If you follow what they say, everything clicks and the debt comes down.

I had no problems at all with my accounts until I took an early retirement for health reasons. I got in a bind and had to have help to get it resolved. I read certain different reviews and called FDR and the guy that originally talked to me was really helpful so I went with them. He was knowledgeable and very upbeat and positive about what could be done. I had originally been approached about doing the accelerated program and so I contacted them to see if I could qualify for it and go ahead and get it all taken care of. I was really nervous and upset about that.
FDR has been overall good except for one man specifically. He was a representative with the company and was very ugly and hateful. It actually happened whenever I’ve received that summons and he pretty much told me that I just have to deal with it on my own, that it was up to me what was gonna happen and nine times out of 10, that was gonna have to go to court. I knew that was not what was discussed to me prior. I had paid so much every month to receive an attorney’s help. But when I spoke with that rep that day he made me feel like I'm in the boat by myself and it was sinking. That man really does not need to be working with the company.
It really put an ugly taste in my mouth after talking to him. I thought maybe I did go with the wrong company. But then, later on that day I spoke with somebody else and so it made me feel better. He told me who I needed to call and how I needed to take care of it. Whenever you have all these credit cards that you’re having to deal with, and then all of a sudden there are two incomes to my house to one it's very stressful. And I'm the type that I've always sat on top of my bills and my credit is a big factor and it’s ruined my credit in a way, but I know now that there is hope that I can get that built back up. If I had a friend that was in a financial bind that I knew needed help to clean up their credit cards, I would recommend FDR.

We put all our credit cards into Freedom Debt Relief's hands and everything is going great so far. They tell me when they have a settlement agreed upon, and I authorize it. They've got almost all of our credit debt taken care of. They say the process is about four years, but as long as we keep putting the money, they'll keep paying things off. The faster we put the money in, the faster they pay it off. I'm very happy with them and I would recommend them to anybody.

My husband passed away about two years ago and left me in a bind and I knew I had to do something. And the Freedom Debt Relief commercial came on TV, and I called the number right there. So far, every time I need to talk to somebody, they're there. They seem like they really do try to help. They really care. You don't always go by what anybody says, but they seem like they're trying to be there for you.
I worked with Cody, and I've been with the program for about eight months now. They called me and they could get me a loan, and so I'm gonna expect a phone call from somebody else to direct the process. With who's been dealing with me, they've gotten right back to me whenever I called or had a question or concern. Working with Freedom Debt Relief made me put all the credit cards away and watch my spending habits more. It gave me a peace of mind, and the debt collectors aren't contacting me. If Freedom Debt Relief does what they say they're going to do, then it's a good outlet for people who get in a bind and somebody who loses an income and a spouse, and that's going through a hardship.

Everybody at Freedom Debt Relief that I’ve talked to has been helpful. They gave me a lot of information whenever I called them and they were able to pull all of my information. I’m almost a year in and they’ve negotiated three of the five accounts. It has taken longer than I was expecting to negotiate, but they sent me the information about what they have negotiated so far. Overall, the program has worked out great.

I wanted to consolidate my debt and then make it one payment. Freedom's reps are very professional, nice, and knowledgeable. However, I thought that they would contact the companies and let them know that I'm in this program instead of having a third-party getting involved. Also, it’s hard to get used to the program because I've always had good credit. I have thought about stopping it a couple times since I applied because I’ve never had bad credit and now I do. I started in May and we have only one resolved issue. But ever since I talked to the reps, they let me understand the process. They're very good and the payment plan is working okay.

My daughter was with FDR and recommended it to me. I decided to use them as well and it's been working out perfectly. When I've had a question about one of the credit cards that I couldn't pick off the number, whomever I have spoken with have always been satisfactory. In terms of my payment plan, I'm not finding it difficult to maintain because if I added up everything that I was paying, it comes to about that. It seems as though they have been able to settle quite a few for me. It beats the bankruptcy and I don't wanna go through that if I don't have to. It's sad though that people are put in that situation and maybe FDR needs to advertise a little bit more because there's a ton of people out there that could certainly use their services. I'm trying to get my neighbors across the street to do it.

I liked how FDR had better rates than other debt relief companies. I went with them and their reps have always been pleasant and helpful. I work with Jose who is very professional and efficient. I got frustrated and I needed help. Freedom's rep was very knowledgeable. He said everything that I needed him to say. It was one of those things where they said, "Your bill is this. Things could go faster with Freedom Debt Relief. I had to ask their reps some questions a couple of times. They were trying to get me to change over and I told them I would see what we were gonna do first. When I get back home, I’m gonna go through and see what they still got outstanding and where they stand. They don’t send much so I should ask to see a synopsis about whatever is mapped out and where they think they’re gonna be six months from now.

I was sick and I got myself into debt with me being sick. I got bills and I couldn't work, so I had to do something. I saw the advertisement of Freedom Debt Relief first two years ago. Somebody suggested them and I read up on it a little bit, and I liked what I saw. I said I'd give them a shot. The rep looked into my income and we worked out a feasible plan and then I called them. And I had the payment lowered what they were taking out because things had gotten a little worse than it was. They didn't give me a hard time and they helped me the best they could. They were very good and very courteous. I just spoke to their rep a couple of days ago. And I was pretty satisfied with the answers and with the service they provided. It's good to know I'm getting out of debt, that's the most important thing.

I had open-heart surgery and was getting ready to pay for it. My income was gonna be reduced by 30%, and I was gonna be out of work for four months. So, I just started the consolidation with Freedom Debt Relief debt. I’ve heard more advertisement with them than I did anybody else. They reduced my payment by $200 a month. And they’ve managed to get me a consolidation loan to consolidate it all. Their service is outstanding. It’s improving my credit.

My husband had died and left me pretty deeply in debt. But Freedom Debt made everything so much easier. I’ve been in this program for several years now, and I was able to at least partially pay off my debts without going bankrupt. They were very helpful and explained everything. I was impressed by the ease of how everything was taken care of, and it relieved me of a lot of stress. It was easy to do, and they were excellent. They asked me what I could pay bi-monthly and we came up with a number. I had them debit it out of my checking account, and it worked out fine. I’d tell others to go for Freedom Debt. It brought me such relief, and I was able to concentrate on other things. I was going through an illness during the whole process, so that was one less thing I had to worry about.

My father signed up in a program with Freedom Debt Relief for his credit card debt. The debt consultant and some people from the division of customer service who I've talked to were very courteous and seem good with greetings. The payment plan they provided my father was good, but we had some problems with some of the creditors because we thought that the settlement time was going according to what Freedom told us. In the end, there were 2 payments that for some reason, the creditors didn't give the payment up and there was a slight misunderstanding. So, I called the company and they were able to send me a communication letter and it's all clear right now.
We're still waiting for Freedom to reimburse my father the money that they have in his bank account because he has already finished on his settlements. In the last time I called them, they told me to wait until the end of October so they can proceed to end and graduate him from the program. All in all, I'm happy in the experience with Freedom Debt Relief.

Updated on 03/12/2021: I saw an ad for Freedom Financial several years ago and kept putting it off as a gimmick. Finally, my husband and I were at our wits end. We couldn't get ahead. So we called them up and spoke to them, I think several times before we finally decided to do it. Our dedicated account comes out of our check before we even see it just like our mortgage does, so we knows it's being paid every month. We are almost done and were offered a consolidation plus loan that would pay the bal off and finish off the program and all we have to pay is the loan. We really like the program.
Original Review: We had no idea how to pay down our debt until Freedom Financial came along. One of the best calls I ever made. I pay them every month and they contact the creditors I have signed on with them to make deals to pay them off and with good savings too. I can't wait to finish the program.

We had 28 cards because my husband was collecting cards, but I haven't even known. It went down and got maxed out. Every week, there were five credit cards that come out of the paycheck automatically. I don't work and I'm sickly. I stay home. All we were ever doing is making the minimum payment. And we had $32,000 in debt with credit card companies. And some of them were even over the amount, so then the payments would be higher. So, I did so much research. If anybody is real serious about consolidating or getting rid of credit cards, they need to research the program that's gonna work for them.
The research I did with Freedom Debt Relief was so positive. I wanted to stop everything and do a negotiation process versus, "Okay. We're gonna pay this much for how many years." Freedom Debt Relief had stopped it. Our credit score went down, but that can always go back up. We only have three payments. When it's done, we'll move on to the next one. The Freedom Debt Relief program worked for me. The bi-weekly payments are low enough where it's actually a relief not having all this money go out because I was only making the minimum payment. Also, if I have a question, I'll pop on, and I'll call. Usually, we use the online chat because it's easier. So far, any questions I've had have been answered and any information I want, I get.

My understanding was on my client dashboard that I only had one payment left. This program is taking me a lot longer to pay off than what I thought. If a person has to choose between debt relief or bankruptcy, choose bankruptcy. Bankruptcy is so much easier and more of a relief.

In my opinion FDR is a scam! We are currently being sued by one of our creditors and FDR has yet to even start negotiations with them. Never during the initial process was this discussed as a possible action. We were assured that the accounts would be taken care of.

A friend of mine told me that Freedom Debt Relief had helped them and that FDR was very professional, courteous, polite, and reasonable to work with. I filled out an application form and listed all of my debts. I knew it was gonna totally screw my credit, but I didn't have much of a choice. They made a plan that was affordable to me. I had to put down how much income I had and what I thought I could afford to pay. They said if they structured the settlement, then I could only take two or three at a time. Then they said they would need a certain amount of dollars to cover it. I said okay, but if you say you don’t have that much, they'll ask what you have and would work with that.
Working with the program has been great and I didn’t feel like there was anything shady about it. I’ve been with them for a couple of years and at one point, I was paying almost 700 a month. But at the beginning of January, I was in a coma for a week. I called and said that I was out of work for a bit and they put things on hold. I had to really drop the payments down and when things were better, I moved it back up. They were willing to answer my questions and work with me. They said to call every three months to check in with where I was, which was what I did. They were not mean nor angry. And if something would affect the structured settlement, they tried to work around it.
Since getting into the program, my budget has been very structured. I'm very aware of where my money is going and I'm disciplined. They offered a lot of help in that respect and I knew that if there was something I wasn’t sure about, I could call them and they would check into it. Plus, you can get legal services for $10 a month. I've gotten a few things that said a creditor was going to sue me. I would call Freedom Debt Relief, fax the paper over to them and they'd handled it. When I referred someone to FDR, I got a $500 credit for it and FDR sent me a check, which I liked.

I wanted to wait a few weeks to reflect on the reasons I enrolled into the program and my expectations. We have just negotiated our first settlement (for Kohl's) and I was extremely excited to have my first debt paid. I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel but I know it is there. I read through the programs booklet and did not see any mention of percentages on settlements that would be our goal. So, I have reviewed the details of the Kohl's account and while the detail sheet states we had a 50% settlement I do think we do, and I believe this is where our differences may occur when negotiations take place. I am basing our settlement figures off the ending amount I actually owed after my last payment to the creditors. My Kohl's account was enrolled at $667. A 50% settlement would have been $333.50.
I do understand all the creditors will continue to add fees, interest, late charges, penalties, etc. onto my ending balance after my last payment. While I am happy with the service, I feel like the current focus is on your corporation getting your fees rather than negotiations on the settlements. My husband and I are both senior citizens, and we both have been needing help and didn’t know where to go to get it. We’ve had so many problems and things going on. I had to retire and my husband is thinking about it next year. Also, I had to have 3 different surgeries in 2018 and my husband got kidney infections and kidney stones. Freedom Debt Relief was the first company I had seen that would help senior citizens get out of so much debt. I called and asked them questions. The people there were really nice. A gentleman asked me questions, I told him what he needed to know, and he took everything down. Later on, I talked to my husband and he said it was up to me, so we started in about it and Freedom got right on our case and helped us. It’s been almost two years now that we are in the program.
Freedom Debt Relief gave us a payment plan where it was gonna be quite a bit at one time so they made it such that it was twice a month for us. Then, every time I’ve called them about maybe changing a date to make sure that we have the money in, they’ve been so nice about it. My husband gets paid on Fridays and so I call them to move the date that came in the middle of the week ‘til Friday. We even had one creditor that tried to take us to court. Of course, Freedom has the lawyers there on standby for us and they worked it all out. So my husband did not have to go to court, and we just continued with our payments each month. Freedom doesn’t charge that much as well. They've taken a load of stress off us.

I got myself in trouble with my credit cards and decided to work with Freedom Debt Relief. I've been into their program for a year and a half and so far, it's going well. The people there are really nice and courteous. They explain to me what I need to know when I ask them and they also let me know when there are changes. But when they wanna notify me, it's hard for them to get ahold of me. I hate to pick up the phone because there are other people calling all the time and these are calls that don't even pertain to Freedom Debt Relief. I also don't know when they're calling me because I don't recognize the phone number. And I try to get on the dashboard but I can't do it. I'm not very good at computers so I stress out.
But all in all, my experience with Freedom Debt Relief has been good. They're doing their thing and I'm okay with their program. I ended up tearing my credit cards up because I didn't wanna get caught up again until I get through paying everything back. I don't like not paying anything back because I made a mistake of overcharging.

I love Freedom Debt Relief. They're doing their job so far. I had a bunch of accounts and we're down to two. One of them filed a suit on me. I got three accounts with Citibank and I got two of them now, but they're getting ready to sue me on the third one. I called FDR and they said they were working on Bank of America as their next target. The guy I chatted with said that if I didn't have enough money, then they couldn't do anything with them, yet they got a target on Bank of America. I asked if he could call Citibank, but he didn't wanna do it. But overall, I was satisfied with FDR.

The amount on my payment plan was my idea. You have an option to submit as much as you can and Freedom Debt Relief doesn't push you about it. So I was okay with my payment plan. You have to have patience to deal with Freedom Debt Relief, though. It’s not something that happens overnight. But I'm impressed that they stay in touch.

I really loved working with Freedom Debt Relief. The man who signed me up was wonderful. He seemed to know what he was talking about and he really made it very clear and easy. I did have problems. I worked with their legal teams and that all got resolved. There's a good vibe with Freedom Debt Relief and I’m as satisfied as I can be. To me, it was a complete brilliant strategy that they were doing. They're gonna call each company on each person separately and they lump it all together where they're shuttling in thousands. The person I talk with did help me, but I am not going to know for two weeks if my account was closed. Also, I don't feel good about to recommend the company to others because like the disclaimer I hear on TV the people talk very fast I don't really understand what they are saying. But I also when my contract did come I was pushed to sign and return as soon as it was emailed to me. And yes I was told to look it over. But I didn't see many items like your charge for holding my money in a account, or that when you did a settlement of an account there was another charge. But I must say the woman I spoke with was very helpful and answered all my questions.

I had to get some relief because we got some medical bills and it hit us quick on the credit cards. We had to make a few trips to get across the state to Omaha, so our bills added up fast and my monthly income wouldn’t cover everything. I didn't wanna file bankruptcy. I had to do something. Freedom Debt Relief was the first one that popped up when I searched and I decided to try them. I loved what they have done so far. The debt consultant who called me was real thorough and explained everything real well. If we had any questions or any doubts, he explained everything real good, and we felt really comfortable with him.
I like the payment plan I was provided with. With what we owed, there was no way I was ever gonna resolve anything. But the monthly payments made our life a lot better financial-wise. We’re not strapped every month. My credit dropped but I’m fine with it. It’s our fault anyway and I’ll take the blame. We're on a four-year deal and everything has been convenient so far.

I had excellent credit, and damage and stuff done to my home that I had out-of-pocket, and I got behind with my creditors. I don’t wanna just not pay them off, and somebody suggested that I do Freedom Debt Relief, and it’s been a wonderful experience so far. I used to have excellent credit and I know I had to make this decision, and I didn’t want to, but it was the best thing to do at the time.
I consolidated my debt at one point before, but this was a little bit different. The debt was a little higher, and I felt like Freedom Debt Relief could negotiate it down and bring it down some, that I wouldn’t have to pay as much to what I actually owed. So, I went ahead went with it. The rep answered all my concerns. He let me know that there was gonna be some fear because it was something different, and he explained it, where he helped out knowing that this was gonna be a good option for me.
Freedom Debt Relief looked at all what I had accumulated. They narrowed it down, and they knew how much, what I owed, and to what ratio they could bring it down. So, they gave me a number that would be enough, where I could afford to do the plan. Everything is great. I’m almost gonna graduate from the program and it’s been a huge burden off my shoulders.

Everything is going great with Freedom Debt Relief. Any time I had a question, somebody answered it. Any time I had a problem, they corrected it, and I’m happy. I've been with the program since February of this year. I had one problem with one of the credit cards. I spoke to one of the FDR attorneys and they straightened it all out. It ended up to be a bit more money per month in my account, but it was settled so I’m okay.

I have a small business, but I'm a single dad so I had to do everything for myself and it put a strain on me. From then on, I got diagnosed with diabetes, and that made me more vulnerable to what I have to do. Sometimes, I can’t work the way that I want to. All that was going on and my wife used all my credit cards. I could not continue making a monthly payment. It was just too much because it was scattered everywhere. Somebody told me about Freedom Debt Relief and I decided to contact them to find out what they could do to help.
When I first set up my account, Vicky was the one that set it up. The thing that really impressed me was the way that she laid out everything. What I was really looking for was more like one big bulk figure than have all my little payments everywhere, and she explained everything to me. I thought they would just be paying off every month, but she told me it was not like that. They have to contact the creditors and try to do a settlement with them. That in itself put me in a bracket where I wanted to give up because I kept getting calls from people. But they told me that’s pretty much part of the program. Now all the calls are over. I’m pleased with what they do. Freedom Debt Relief did a wonderful job and if I have to recommend them to any of my friends and family, I will.

I’m happy with Freedom Debt Relief and the program that I've been in. But there was this guy from FDR who was very pushy. He told me that I only have $14 in my account with Freedom Debt Relief. Then right in the middle of everything, my internet went out and he said that he had another call and was on a timeframe so he would call me back. When he called back, the internet still wasn't up and I tried to explain to him. Then he said that he'd call some time through the weekend if I would get my internet, but I was getting my grandchildren for the weekend. He insisted that it would only take 20 minutes so I told him that he would not get this. I do nothing when I have my grandkids. I don’t get them very often and I’m not gonna be on the phone with him for 20 minutes.
When I got back online and looked at the account, I have almost $400 in there. The guy lied to me. So I am not going forward and do the consolidating thing. I’m just gonna stay where I’m at with my program and keep paying my 270 a month. My program’s working. I’m getting my debt paid down and I’m pretty much on track like I was when I first signed my contract with them. I’ve got about two years with that program and I’ve settled my debt over halfway.
Freedom Debt Relief has been just a blessing because when I joined the program, I was getting ready to be out of work for a knee replacement and I knew I wasn’t gonna be able to pay my credit cards. I was current on most of them, but there were two that I wasn’t current on and I knew I was gonna start getting behind because I wasn’t gonna have the income. I was able to work it out so that my credit didn’t get ruined. I have recommended a couple people to call them and see about getting on the program.

So far so good. All is working as it should, be wow my credit score is sure taking a hit. Hopefully, when it is all said and done, I can rebuild my credit eventually. It is a 4 year process and yes, as the client you do need to do your share and act quickly upon receipt of any information/letters from your creditors. As of now, all is good on the water front.

I was looking up some things on the internet as far as consumer debt relief, and Freedom Debt Relief popped up. The application process was all positive. They went through the whole program, and they talked about what they were doing and the cost. It was good a explanation and they laid everything out. They were upfront. There wasn't a lot of pressure. They gave me an opportunity to think about it. It was a soft sell. It was like, "If this is right for you, you can do it. If not, then don't."
The payment plan works for me. It's a long term solution, but I really love that at the end of the program, I'll be debt-free and make better decisions in the future. I'm just completing my first year, and they have negotiated on quite a few debts, and it was more than I thought that they would be. I have about 20 debts, and eight or nine have been negotiated and a couple of have been paid off. So we're making some good progress and I see the results.
I feel very much less stress since working with Freedom Debt Relief. I can see this coming to an end, and I feel more relaxed now. It does affect my credit and I had to do some things, and I had to make that decision, but bankruptcy would have did it also. But at the end of the day, it was the right thing for me to do. I'm very satisfied with what they're doing. They plan on quite a few of them and they've negotiated a good settlement on many of the debts. It was almost 50% of what the creditors’ asking for, so that was very, very positive there.

I'm a disabled Army veteran but I had been forced to retire from the VA and they had cut my disability back. For over a year, we waited for me to get my first retirement check from the VA and during that time, we hit the bar. I had to dig a hole but I was playing balance the checkbook either way. When money finally started coming in and the government gave me my 100% for the PTSD, everything came together. But by that time, my hole was so deep that I couldn't see the top of it. I would be paying 'til I'm 110. I called Freedom Debt Relief and was satisfied with them. I was happier with them compared to other companies that I looked at. FDR fits my needs to a tee and I couldn't have asked for better service.
They're a great company and they're straight up. The people that I have talked to have been very knowledgeable, polite and they're some of the sweetest people I've ever done business with. I was able to increase my payment plan and I would be out of debt come February as opposed to 27 more years. Their financial assistance and getting things taken care of immediately has impacted me very positively. They even had attorneys ready to go to court for me when I was summoned.
They're wonderful people and I love them. As a matter of fact, I send them thank you letters all the time on emails. I've been in the world a long time and have done a lot of business over the years, have owned properties and business and these people are truly professionals. My experience with Freedom Debt Relief has been good. But I was puzzled 'cause I had referred someone and FDR gave me $250. They told me they had to put it in my FDR account and I have to request for them to withdraw. But now, they're saying that if one of my creditors try to come and ask for something, it'll mess it up. When I request for it, they keep sending me emails like I'm asking for money from my account that I put in there. If I take it out, it might be a problem. But that money was given to me and not the money that I deposit. Also, the payment plan that they set up is too much. I'm trying to get out of debt but the payment is putting me back in. Other than that, everything has been fine. I would recommend Freedom Debt Relief.

I have been with FDR for over a year now and they just mess up your credit... Even though they do make you aware of this... What they don't tell you is that they are a scam. After a while, they stop responding to you and it gets really stressful. They also take more money than they are supposed to and the fees are ridiculous. Save your money and try to talk to the creditors on your own. I could keep going but FDR has already wasted enough of my time.

Updated on 01/22/2021: I remember the feeling of hopelessness quite vividly. How did I get here? I'm not a bad person? Why can't I get myself out of this situation? I was terrified. I researched what seems like a million options for debt resolution. My gut told me to use Freedom Debt Relief. I did not look back. Today all of my debts are negotiated and there is a plan for resolution. All I have to do now is stay the course and I will be free of credit card debt soon. Everything was great with Freedom Debt Relief's debt consultant. He told me the process and I asked a few questions about what to do and how to go about it, and he answered them. They’ve got a couple of debts off and a few waiting for settlement. Before, I was worrying about a lot of different bills. I also had to find ways to remind myself when to pay what, what’s the first past due, which one can I pay this month or which one can I wait on. BUt with FDR, I had just one payment automatically deducted out of my account, so it was almost out of sight, out of mind.
Other than that, the rep I worked with helped me more than I had realized. I had a credit card debt and he helped me out with some other things that were on my credit and get that paid off as well. I drive for a living over the road, very long distance, and I can be kinda hard to get on the phone sometimes. So, the back and forth was usually difficult but he managed it well. I liked their app, too. In my job, my time is pretty valuable and it was easier to use the app to check in and see updates if there were any alerts. Plus, I could have any questions answered through that. I also got a lot of emails from them and sometimes, they were not just convening my account but more stuff.

I find that this program although is reducing and settling my debt; however it is in a reactive form and not proactive. I find that your quick to withdraw my monthly payment but not quick to disburse. I feel that your company holds funds until accounts have gone to third party and or attorney where I am having to pay unnecessarily attorneys and court fees thus taking on to my debt....

I feel that information on the progress of my settlements and the effort that FDR is exercising on my behalf has been lacking in every respect. Negotiations with my creditors is not evident to me at this time. Nothing seems to be done until a lawyer for the creditors brings the matter to court. We tried to consolidate our credit at one time but it just didn’t seem to be the right fit. What the previous company did was take the interest off of it but really didn’t reduce the actual debt. We had about $5,000 total debt and I was unemployed at the time. We struggled and sold a lot of our assets, musical instruments, and stuff like that to get by. We went ahead with Freedom Debt Relief and it's a whole different ball of wax. I like the information that was sent to me, and I like the initial person that I talked with. They were informative, answered all the questions, and I didn’t feel I was being bum-rushed. I called one time and had some questions, and they were patient enough to explain to me why we were doing what we were doing. Once I got a little bit more information, I was able to say, “Okay, let’s go with this.”
However, I would like a little bit more communication as to what they are actually working on for me. Not just say, “All right, we’re gonna try this,” and then I don’t hear anything for a while. Communication is a big thing, even for the line of work that I’m doing. I’m a customer care representative of a water company and the biggest thing that I hear from the customers is that if there are any changes in the delivery or quantity or whatever else, most of the time, if they’re not being informed, they get irate. It’s not in the fact that the changes were made, but they weren’t informed of it. That’s my biggest concern, that I get put in the loop as to what’s going on on a regular basis. I don’t see that happening.
We’ve had one resolution and we’re working on another. We wanna get completely out of debt so we’re still doing that $100 every two weeks when I get paid. I've been working with Freedom Debt Relief since March and since then, I haven’t had any calls from my creditors. I have four Chase credit cards, and I have one more payment and one card will be finished. And then, they’ll be working on the other three. I even increased my deductions to speed up the process. So far, everything is going according to plan. They’re keeping me abreast of everything that is going on and I get the email on a regular basis.

I chatted with Rusty about my concerns with the assertive pressure from Discover Card. They are threatening and moving forward with garnishing my wages and I wanted to explore any other options other than bankruptcy. At this point, I need to contact Discover and see if they can hold tight and wait until I have enough in my dedicated account. If they move forward aggressively to garnish wages, I will be forced to file for bankruptcy, which I don't want. Rusty was helpful. Thank you!

I have regret signing up with your program.. The litigation law group had settled 2 account and you are refusing to remove them from the account. The lawyers had sent an email stating the removal. I have sent the settlement agreement to support, to cgreen, Aguerra and still nothing. Poor customer service. I spoken to a Nicole and Aguerra who were very nice but still no solution. Definitely would not recommend.
