Good experience. Would recommend to anyone. Big help on relieving my debt. Personnel were very helpful every time I called even when I needed to change the amount of my deposits. I was not hounded by creditors after I signed up with them.

I did not stay on the phone to leave a review after hanging up with whoever I spoke to but it's only because I was upset with what I was being told. HOWEVER, the rep was awesome and very polite and did his job properly - even when I wasn't the nicest. So I apologize for that and just wanted to say that the last rep I spoke with did his job very professionally and handled the call well.

Excellent debt settlement. Everything is going smoothly as explained to me at the beginning of the program. Creditor called me at least 3 times per day. I would answer once per week because creditor asked the same questions every time. Asking if my address, phone and all contact information on me is the same.

When I lost my full-time job, I was stuck with a bunch of stupid credit cards. I looked up Freedom Debt Relief and I saw a lot of good stuff about them and they had really good ratings. The person I spoke with was very sweet. I have a hard time understanding things. When you get older, you have a hard time with technical stuff. But my consultant did a really good job. If I had any questions, I could call her. And if she couldn’t call me back, she would put me through another person right away. Everybody has been really nice and I always get really good answers. My payment plan is perfect right now and hopefully, one day, I could increase it.

Freedom Debt Relief's people are always wonderful with me. I'm impressed with their knowledge, and if they didn’t have an answer to a question right then and there, they promptly researched it. I also like that they have the option to have lawyers in case you need them. I'm about two-thirds into the program, and though I still get letters, I don’t get as many calls. The fees are a little high, but it's a great program and it helps negotiate my debt down. I’m very satisfied with Freedom, and I already have recommended them.

When I talked to Freedom Debt's welcoming teem, I found that they were a lot more knowledgeable and they were able to help me a lot better than some of the other companies I looked at. I went with them and Todd, the rep whom I worked with, was outstanding. He told me what to do and how to do those things. He was very professional. Freedom worked with me on my payment schedule. They laid out the process and the payments based on the two days I get my checks. Now, I'm almost finished with their program and they've negotiated with the eight companies I was dealing with. We've gotten all the settlements just about done. Being with Freedom has cut down on all the annoying phone calls.

I came across Freedom Debt Relief through Credit Karma. Things that can help you get your debts paid down or clear your debts with short-term things. And I called them on the phone to see what they were about. So far, I’ve had a great experience with them. They’ve been upfront and kept me in the loop of things. And when they needed things, they would contact me. We would talk and discuss what we were going through. The consumer help was very helpful. I got everything paid off and they consolidated everything for me. I’m just waiting to see what my outcome of this is gonna be so far because I haven’t heard anything further than that they paid them. I don’t know if everything went through and I don’t have any idea of what’s going on to this point. But I’ll recommend them.

It has been really great working with Freedom Debt Relief. The only issue I had was with the Discover Card because they were underhanded with what they did. The lady who was taking care of that had me do some paperwork immediately and I only had three days over the weekend to sign and send it in. So, that one was bad, and I would like to see some of the negotiations go a little bit better. They said the program would be done in four years, but I'm looking at the timeline, and it's more like five years. I'm just finishing my first year in November, and I'm looking to get my debt cleared and have some money again.

I called for assistance when one of my creditors tried to do an "end run" by selling my debt to another party. They sent me a letter to tell me they had done so, but neglected to tell Freedom Debt Relief they had done so. FDR then thought this was a new debt to be added to my list. I called to explain my end of it, and Canan was able to help me relax and be assured things were going to be just fine.

Before I enrolled in the Freedom Debt Relief Plan, I felt as if I was spinning my wheels trying to make ends meet on a fixed income. Four years ago I started receiving my Social Security checks, and all of a sudden it seemed, I did not have enough money to make ends meet. With Freedom Debt's assistance, I learned how to handle the phone calls requesting money be paid. They have so many beneficial training sessions on how to pay your bills, etc. It really did help to read other people's Testimonials, so you knew you are not in this alone.

I have gotten wrong information 50 % of the time. Have to call back multiple times. My latest one was I asked about the law here group doing the work on a settlement did I still have to pay the percentage. I was told and in writing that I would not then I saw the fee. Talked to a different rep and was told the opposite. Please get your story straight. Sorry I can’t find the email that I was sent but I thought her name was Amanda.

They are very greedy. The client doesn't come first. I was sued five times because they don't negotiate or even tell your creditors they're helping you. They stopped negotiating but never told us. Stay away from them. I could have lost a lot. The money they save you goes into their pockets.

Freedom Debt Relief was the first one to call me and discuss what I was looking for. The debt consultants I worked with were really good. They explained to me everything that was gonna happen and made me feel comfortable as to the service they could provide and help me with my debt problem. They gave me a timeframe, and there were updates. And at this point, I’m not dealing with Freedom anymore. I completed it already, and I was transferred over to another service that I’m dealing with now. They finally worked with Freedom and they paid off everything early. And so, I’m paying them now, but they took care of everything.

I liked how Freedom Debt Relief went in detail, explaining everything to me when I first started. I called my rep several times with questions, and he answered all of those and was very polite about it. I got the service because of my credit cards and doctor bills, and working with FDR took pressure off of me. The service is great, and I would recommend it.

I had some credit cards that had gotten high, and it was getting hard to handle them. I called Freedom Debt Relief and it sounded good. The gentleman made everything seem like they could get things done for me. He was so kind and explained everything. So far, it has worked out pretty good. He usually pays one payment around the first month, and then another payment later in the month. That's why when our Social Security comes in, we'll take care of it. Now I feel relieved.

The courtesy of the people that I was talking with made me want to work with Freedom. But the main thing that stood out for me was that they waited to get the payment in my budget range. My debt consultant was very knowledgeable, and he went over everything. I was satisfied with the results that he showed me. The program was great. Everything that Freedom's rep Desiree told me about has been going along just like she said it would. She was also very helpful and informative. For my payment plan, Freedom gave me options with three different plans whenever I am able to do more which I liked.

I saw somewhere that Freedom Debt Relief was number one in the country. I had a very good experience. The debt consultants handled everything correctly, except I did put in one account and they didn’t use it. They thought it was a duplicate, so I probably still owe money to one of the creditors. They’re very polite. Everybody is very nice, friendly, and didn’t make me feel like a criminal. They’re always there to answer the questions. Their service fees are rather high. The monthly payment was rather extreme too. But I owed a lot of money so we plowed through. It took away a lot of phone calls and worry.

Freedom Debt Relief is a big relief for me. They're negotiating my credit account debt for lower amounts and I get to pay a reasonable monthly fee that I'm able to handle and it takes away a lot of the stress, I'm able to do other things and not worry about missing a payment. Updated on 04/19/2022: Been a customer for less than 3 years and have been very pleased with settlements and watching debt amount decrease. Whether communicating by cell or text, all reps have been knowable, polite and have helped solve problems large or small.

Being in debt and feeling as if there's no relief is a horrible feeling. These predatory lenders don't want you to pay off the debt. They won't lower the insane interest rates, or really help you out. Even if you've been with their financial institutions for years. I was happy to find out there were programs like this out there to help out someone drownining in despair and debt. Thanks for all you guys do. I've been able to setup one payment each month and reduce my debt balances.

I went with Freedom for my credit card debt and a personal loan. Working with their rep was good but then with my payment plan, they're asking me to make a payment that's more now than in the beginning. The payments are going out of my account every two weeks.

Freedom Debt Relief has been great to work with. They're very concerned about people’s income. If you run into a financial problem, you call them and they’ll redo the amount that you pay and rework your new schedule out. I sent them a big sum of money and then they took care of it and paid some of my debt off, and we’re getting it paid off sooner than what we expected.

My experience with Freedom Debt Relief has been good up until last month. I wasn’t having any issues at all. My credit score has gone up over 100 points and I was happy with it. But they changed their payment plan, and now, it screwed up my finances. I had to pay weekly. And before I signed up for the program where the man initially set the program up for me, I stressed to him that I have to pay weekly. So, he said that they go in and manually can set it to weekly. So, they set it to weekly for three months at that time. But they don’t do it automatically. I had to call and remind them to set it up weekly instead of bi-weekly.
The week before this week, they took two payments out because I didn’t know that it was the end of the three months. So, my account went into the negative. I had a $45 insufficient fund charge. The $247 is half my paycheck, and that’s why I told them I have to do it weekly. I can’t do it biweekly. And now, they changed the payment plan, and I have to call in every month to make my payment. I had to call in every month to have them set it for $119 a week, instead of $240 over two weeks. I work two jobs. My husband has cancer, so we’re going through major chemo and radiation, and I don’t have enough time in the day to stop and call somebody for 45 minutes to have them reset my payment to $119 a week. I’m seriously thinking about quitting the program.
Before, I had to call every three months. Now, I have to call every 30 days and I’m on the phone for at least 30 or 45 minutes where they go in and manually set my payments to $119 a week. They have to manually do it. The payment program that they have is only for biweekly or monthly. They don’t have a payment plan for weekly, so I have to call in before the biweekly payment. I have to call in and I have to have them set it for weekly and they have to manually do it. So, I have to manually call in every single month now. I had asked them. They told me nothing. They’re not interested in changing it.
Other than that, they’ve done great. My husband’s credit score’s gone up. Our credit score was in the 400. Mine is now 620 and my husband’s at 720. They’ve done a great job as far as that is concerned. From the very first week since they took it over, I stopped getting harassing phone calls. I haven’t had any problems at all until they changed their program last month. And it screwed it up. They need to set the program so that people can pay weekly.

I Googled Freedom Debt Relief and after I made the calculations of how much I owed, I noticed that I wasn’t gonna be able to pay it on time. I called them and they answered right on the spot. They took care of everything within 24 to 48 hours, and I enrolled in the program. Every time I call, they answer and I’m not put on hold. Through email as well, they respond within 24 hours. Anyone that answers the phone can resolve the issue. The only thing that they can probably improve is, I changed all my phone numbers and I told them I changed it online, and they were still contacting my old phone number. And I know this because the only thing that I kept the same was my email, and I kept receiving emails from them whenever one of my balances was settled. I have to do it via email instead of via text like I was doing in the beginning.
Freedom has been taking care of all my accounts for over a year now. I had a $58,000 debt, and they cut it to $25,000. They’ve already paid off six of my cards and it’s only been a year. They’re settling my accounts really quick, which I like. There’s no hassle of them having to increase the amount of money that I have to pay. No creditors are calling me, which is awesome. They have an option of if you refer a friend, they give you a $250 check, or if you wanna apply it to your account, you can for every friend that you refer. That helped me out a lot in the beginning. I'm really happy with the whole program.

I became temporarily disabled and needed to reduce my debt so I could manage my house payment, etc. while not working. My credit rating was 751 at that time, and FDR assured me that they would help me to maintain a good score. I refinanced my house and within a few months, had more than enough money in the account to negotiate full payments to the four creditors I enrolled with them. They quickly resolved two of the debts but waited until the last two accounts had accumulated an additional $1700 in penalties and interest. Throughout my time with them, they charged me $20 per month. With those accounts, they created a payment plan that would lock me in for another two years with them. I called them every few months to tell them that I needed them to pay off those accounts.
Although they were pleasant on the phone, they were telling me falsehoods that would hold me at bay for a few more months. The last three times I called them, I said that they must return the remaining funds to me so that I could get it done. They told me that my complaint was going to be reviewed by management. They completed my case 6 months later. I received a packet in the mail that included the activity with them. It did not disclose a truthful picture of the amount I paid to get my debt paid. The statement claimed that I paid 55% of my debt, but the reality is that I paid 75.64%. They failed to disclose the fees they charged for each resolution. I had to look at my bank statements and do a bit of math. My credit score is in the mid 400s. I could have negotiated my debt (I have done it in the past) and saved a more significant amount without sacrificing my credit score.

I have had a good experience with FDR for the most part but I have 2 items on FDR through US Bank. The credit card part of it obviously received info from FDR but not the loan part. I was told by FDR that a fax was sent in March, but told by US Bank loan that they have not received anything. I have asked for the loan manager to be called but no one will call him. HELP!!

FDR Representatives have been great. Always helpful and ready to get information if they do not immediately have the answers. When I received notice I was being sued the Representative was on the phone with me for close to 45 minutes answering questions and gathering information for me. I was drowning in debt and saw no way out with monthly payments only covering accrued interest on credit cards. I felt immediate relief with these credit card payments out of my budget. I did a little research, talked to some people, and I went with the consensus. I signed up with Freedom and their debt consultants were very good. They took all the time that was needed, explained everything, and made sure they didn't have any questions unanswered. They're doing exactly what I expected. If they could make all the debt disappear, that would be wonderful. But, no. Still, I'm very happy with what they're doing. They worked with me for a payment plan and there is no problem with communication. They don't call me every week, but they've got a nice dashboard for the customer to go to and see what's going on. And any time I have a question, I call, and they're always there.
At present, I'm a lot more comfortable than I was. There was a point when I didn't know how to see we were ever gonna get paid off, and now I see a way. I didn't just run off debt and not worried about it. I just fell into some tough situations and I'm retired. Then all of a sudden, I'm in a bind. So, it's been good being with Freedom. I've got two more debts on there that we need to get on plan, and I'll be definitely happy as soon as they get on.

I went with Freedom to consolidate my debt. I worked with a bunch of their reps and if I have a problem I just call in to talk to one of them. The rep I speak to tells me what's going on and I go from there. I pay Freedom $400 a month and I'm very satisfied with them. Everything has been all right so far. Freedom has been a good company to work with. Just pay them the money and they'll take care of your bills.

One of my creditors sued me and FDR supported me and provided legal assistance in that case. I really appreciated it because I have diligently made payments to my creditors but the balance was not being significantly reduced. I’m looking forward to settling and paying off all my bills.

The introduction to FDR went by very smoothly and Amy kept me very calm through the steps. I am trying be calm through the initiatory of the program. I was happy with Freedom, but then I keep getting these calls from Consolidation Plus. The last guy pretty much made me feel like I had no choice, I needed to take the loan so US Bank would not sue me. Now I have a monthly payment that is almost but not quite doubled. If I had it to do over I would have took my chances with US Bank. Is there any way I can extend this loan to get my monthly payment lower?

Overall my experience was acceptable, however when my final account was to be settled I was told they could not settle it. I have been in the program for 4 years, at no point was I told about the issue of settling this account. I was not told that this account would continue to accrue interest putting me in a much worse place than when I started the program with an additional $10,000 of debt nearly canceling any debt reduction the program aided in.

Freedom's consultant was very good. On the other hand, the attitude of some of their customer service people wasn't so good. I asked them to find out information for me and they said "Sorry, we don't do that." Even so, they helped me with my payment plan very well. Recently, I had a very good conversation with the person who informed me how well I'm doing with the program. Going with FDR took a lot of pressure off of me.

I'm finished with the first part of Freedom Debt Relief's program, and I was very satisfied. I talked to several different people and they were all very nice. My consultant has been fine. Sometimes, things are hard to do, and you have to do them two or three times. It is an everyday thing for me. There are days that I just don't think about it, and it feels good not to think about it. I dread the four and a half more years of payment to Consolidated Plus. I really had to think really hard to figure out how it's saving me money. I realize that the credit card companies would have just been adding more and more charges on, and so I would pay a whole lot more to them than I'm paying this way.
The payment to Freedom was okay, but now this one to Consolidated Plus is almost $100 a month higher, and I really wish that it wasn't. But the rep said that can't be changed, so I'll deal with it. It'll be worth it in the long run. Since they paid those credit cards off, I'm able to function really well as far as being able to do what I need to do financially. And so, that's a plus right there. If I knew of anyone that was in trouble like this, I would definitely recommend Freedom Debt Relief. In fact, when I saw it advertised on television, I thought it might have been connected with the government. But then I realized it wasn't, but I realized why the word 'Freedom' was on there because it does give you freedom.

I was unhappy with my most recent debt offer to pay approximately 75%. Yes I broke a lease but the rental co. got to keep all the extra funds given to them. I rented under duress, flying from Fl. to N.E. My mother began to die as I drove south. I took the apt. before cleaned & painted. The kind rental agent left & I could not negotiate my departure, out of state with her. The apt. complex did fine with my fees on my departure. I will agree to pay them $400. Refusing the offer, the last FDR agent was fine to my knowledge. PS going into this negotiation I made it crystal clear that I would not accept a similar offer! Senior with only S.S.

I had too many bills at one time. I had too much credit card debt. I liked that Freedom Debt Relief was easy to work with. It was straightforward. I told the rep what I needed and he told me what they can do. They told me how much it's gonna be and I agreed to it, and then I set the dates and that was it. Their fees are high, but besides that, it's fine. My credit started going down and I'm working on getting it back.

My bills and credit cards were so much, and I lost my job. I was on Facebook and saw Freedom Debt Relief and said, “Well, let me try this.” And it’s working so far. The rep I worked with gave me her personal number, to call her if I had any problems or stuff like that. I was confident then because most times, I get these things, calling me, and I’m kind of scared that it might be fraud or whatever. I didn’t feel that way with her. Also if I have a question, I call, they answer it, and explain everything to me. They even go beyond. There are times that I have a little difficulty paying the monthly payments because I’m not working. Every time I call and ask them to reduce the amount that has to be paid, it’s done. They assist me a great lot in that way. I would recommend them to anybody because they’re genuine and it works for me.

With all the stuff that my ex-wife left me, I needed help badly and I went with Freedom. Thus far, I've had a good experience with them and they've done me nothing but good. Initially, they gave me a lower payment plan but I went with a higher one to get my debt paid off quicker. I'd definitely tell anybody about their service.

When I went with Freedom Debt Relief, I was thinking they were the best one I could choose and now I think that I made a good choice. Everything has been going well, so far. Their consultants usually always contact me for anything, including settlements, promotions, and how I can do better with the credit cards. They always send me stuff in my email or they text me, so I like it. My questions and concerns have been addressed well too. So far, everything in my payment plan has been doing great works for me, and it works for the company too. So, I'm satisfied with that. Absolutely, my life is changed since I signed the contract with Freedom Relief. My life, and everything, is better. I would recommend them as well.

It would be helpful if FDR would get involved with creditors at the same point clients are sending the creditors new contact info. At this point I only have one past due payment... with CitiBank and another with Chase. Plan to send each Creditor a new contact info later on next week. D. ** has already been sent a copy of the letters. Changed contact info online at each of the three websites.

It just seems that the amounts being paid to creditors per month is too small and that my debt free dates are getting pushed further into the future. I really don’t know how to make it better because I cannot increase my monthly payment. I do know that I am going to stick with it.

I am in the middle of my debt relief program while writing this, but my experience with FDR has been very good. The support team is prompt with responding that they received my e-mail when I send in letters from creditors and other correspondence. Many of my debts to date have been settled and it has been a definite burden off me to have FDR in my corner negotiating these settlements. The videos on the site were helpful to understand how the process works and flows as well as what my part is in it all. I couldn’t make a change in my plan 3 days before my schedule withdrawal. My funds will not be in my account until Tuesday night instead of Monday night. It’s supposed to be withdrawn on the 15th and wouldn’t be there until the 16th.

I do not like that I can’t have a creditor paid off, when there is more than enough in my account to pay them off. I think it is a ridiculous now policy you have. Why can’t a payoff be done, while you are negotiating with another ceditor??? You have enough so pay them off.

I didn't realize there would be such a big percentage at settlement. I didn't realize the fee would be charged on each settlement. It's like waiting until enough interest has accrued on the account and then a settlement is reached.

Advise what to do when receiving letters from creditors when they assigned account to other collections agency, and what the best actions it may take by notifying FDR. Always stay on top to programs progress, deposit account base on program agreement. Had a great conversation with customer service representative. I needed to be sent in US Postal mail the verification of contracts with Freedom Debt Relief. And never received word back. They also need to update my client dashboard. I am making payments. But not able to keep track, due to electronic communications, my balances and when creditors receive their actual settlement payments.

I have not been in a debt relief program in over 25 years. Therefore, the process has drastically changed. I needed credit card relief to begin preparing for retirement in 4 years. I checked there was an envelope from Freedom Debt Relief. The counselor provided immediate assistance to my need. The challenge is the waiting period for the negotiations and settlement in addition the constant phone calls from the creditors. The creditors have programs too. I provided the creditors Freedom’s contact information when the called. My goal is to keep up my payments and to make the first settlement because from this point Freedom was giving me relief.

With medical stuff and losing my part time job, I couldn't do it any other way. I went with a company for a couple of months, and they were awful. I got to searching ratings and different thing. I called a couple, and National Debt Relief wouldn’t take me. I found Freedom Debt Relief, and it had a pretty good rating, and different things. So, I finally just took a chance and I’ve been pleased so far.
The representative, Peggy, was very congenial and informative, and assured me that I could call her any time I had a question. What she would tell me, she would do right then. I didn't have to wait. And she was always available to me. For the payment plan, Freedom Debt wanted me to do one thing, and I said I couldn't do that. Peggy came back and said yes, that I could do that. It was really a little more than what I could actually do. It’s not easy, but I’m doing it. I can feel relief inside.

I was online looking for debt relief companies. I was reading some of the reviews and I decided to go with Freedom Debt Relief. My experience is going fine. I am surprised at how fast the process has progressed. I did the loan to settle the debt quickly. And I will have one loan once they settle the last account. When I signed up, I was a little confused when they said bi-weekly payment. That didn’t mean that on the month that you get three checks, you’re making three payments rather than just two. Other than that, the payment plan was okay.

I called Freedom Debt Relief, and I liked the person that I talked to the first time. She was very helpful. I got a different person now that I’m talking to, but they’ve all been so very helpful and very nice to me. Whenever I tried to get in contact with them, they answered my questions. Every time I have emailed or messaged my consultant she’s always gotten back with me.
The only thing I didn’t realize, and probably that’s my fault, is that there's so much stuff to take in and so much to read and do. I just couldn’t grasp it all. Also whatever they saved me, I would have to add to my taxes at the end of the year, and pay tax on it. So that will cost me extra, above what I’m paying them each month to consolidate, to resolve the debt. But that’s the only thing, so far, that I’ve been concerned about. They said I will finish the program in about 24 months. But they dropped it some since two of my accounts have been resolved. It’s just one account left. So they said it's 23 months now.

FDR's reps have been really helpful to me about things that I didn't know about. They've also been really helpful in telling me what to do. They're always on my dashboard, let me know everything, what they're working on and what I need to do. They're always communicating with me. It has also been pretty easy to contact them when I have any issues. They're very polite and take the time to help me with questions that I might have for them. I will be telling coworkers that I have Freedom Debt's thing. Previously I was not getting anywhere paying cards off and living from paycheck to paycheck. Being in FDR's program helps out a lot. My husband recommended Freedom Debt Relief. Their reps have been fast and very professional. The program somehow relieves stress, but on the other hand, it stresses me a little bit because of the effect on my credit. It’s a really bad effect but I have no choice but to do this. Also, the reps should follow-up on the debtor so they can do it quicker. But so far, everything has been fine.

I had a very good experience with FDR. There are times when you feel you are not doing the right thing and nothing seems to be happening. The hardest part of the process for me was not stopping the use of credit cards, but watching my credit score drop. I knew it was going to drop but it was difficult nonetheless. Once you get to the first settlement, you feel such a relief.

I have been treated as if I was the only account they had. They sent me updates and called me to let me know how things were going. Updated on 08/25/2020: FDR has gotten me down to the last settlement and it feels great. They have been very good about keeping me informed of OUR progress. It's just a matter of time and waiting till the last horse leaves the starting gate.
Original Review: Freedom Debt Relief is awesome. It was a little rocky at the start, but now I'm used to it. Everything runs so smooth. They have made awesome progress in getting rid of my debt. Bills that would take me 7 yrs to pay off take only 3 months through them. Once the creditors find out that FDR is helping you they back off. Since I turned my debt over to FDR my life has been very quiet.

While I am satisfied with the progress, there have been a couple of debts that could have been paid off for very little that were not handled. I also understand that FDR wants their money but I found the fees, not to be excessive but a lot at times where other debts could have been alleviated. I was very disappointed that a lending organization was given access to my situation but the settlement would have cost me more than the FDR settlement. My understanding was that this was done with your approval. Otherwise, good work.

I like the product that FDR is providing to help assist people with reducing and/or eliminating their debts. However, some of the policies and procedures for requesting to withdraw money I of your dedicated account are inaccurate and unfair to the customer and client. Also, the reps in Customer Service need to be retrained or coach better by the supervisor. I say this because just recently I had two “bad” experiences with customer service department. Everything is going good with Freedom Debt Relief. I had contacted National Debt Relief first. I was comparing prices because I was at the point where I didn’t know what I was gonna do. I was at my wit's end. And Freedom Debt Relief was better than them. Their reps have been awesome. Any questions that I’ve had, they’ve answered them with no problem and no hesitations. So, I have no complaints. I was impressed with my consultant's knowledge in regards to being understanding and listening to what I need and what I want as my end result.
The payment plan that Freedom Debt Relief provided me was good. It allowed me to have some type of relief that my stress isn’t like it was. I’ve paid off one debt that I’ve put in there. There are two that are under a payment plan through them. I need to call Freedom Debt Relief because I have one that is refusing to work with them. I’m assuming because they keep sending me notices in regards to what I owe and what I need to do. So, I need to know what I need to do. I tried to recommend Freedom Debt Relief to someone, but they said they didn’t work with people from Kansas. So, that’s something they might wanna look into.

We had a quite a few bills. My husband passed away, and I’m going through hell and high water now trying to keep up. I only have two credit cards now, and I don’t charge on them. I’m getting them down to the balance and I just wanna pay them up. I don’t owe that excessive amount. I've been with Freedom Debt for about a couple of years, and they’re always helpful. I was getting short of funds. Freedom Debt Relief was the first one who reached out to me. They contacted me over the phone, and the rep was okay. I didn't really understand the full extent of what they're gonna do to me. I thought they are going to settle my account and I paid them, but they waited for my creditors to run after me and charged me fees after fees, and my credit score went down to the lowest, which I did not expect. I thought they're helping me but apparently, I wasn't helped. I was really disappointed. They waited for my creditors to run after me and keep sending me threatening letters and phone calls.
Freedom Debt Relief said that they are waiting for the creditor for them to settle with them. They waited too long. They said that they are going to wait until everything is settled and then they will put them together. And that's when they endorsed me to Consolidation Plus which should have been done in the first place, instead of waiting for the creditors to run after me and lower my credit score to the poorest, which I haven't been in my life. They haven't settled with my creditors, but they said that they are right now because they got the settlement from the last creditor.

I sought for the help of FDR mostly for my medical debt. The rep talked about the program and let me know how they went about talking to creditors and getting settlements. And then she walked me through the process of getting the one that said that I had to do automatic monthly payments. She let me know that that wasn’t true and how to get that stopped. And then we went through the enrollment process.
The only problem I had personally with the enrollment process, and it’s not a dig or anything, one of the ladies I spoke to had a really heavy accent, so it was kinda hard for me to understand her. Other than that it was really streamlined and really easy to do since they stayed on the phone while doing it and made themselves available by direct email.

Freedom Debt Relief has worked on half of my debt, and I had 11 more cards that were taking me to court. FDR couldn't answer anything when I called and asked them a question about it. They don't answer all my questions most of the time, but they’re okay. Trevor, the lawyer who has been working with me, has been wonderful too. I figured that when FDR made the payment arrangements, I would be good, but when Trevor looked into whatever he needed to do, the remaining creditors wanted me to pay them an extra $500. Trevor postponed the other 9 cases and in some way, FDR worked out an agreement with two of the cards. I wasn’t expecting this to come up like that, but I wanted to pay my debt and I know that it’s being paid, so I’m good with it.

I liked what Freedom Debt Relief was advertising, and they sounded more truthful than most companies on what they were talking about. I signed up and I was more comfortable dealing with them. I always get somebody different whenever I talk to someone on the phone, but the service that I get from them is excellent. I've been in the program for about 2 years now and they've helped change a little bit in my finances. I have a little more in my pocket now than I did before. So far, they’ve been able to take care of all my bills for me. They haven't worked on some, but I’ve been handling those myself. Freedom has been doing good on all the ones I’ve turned in and they're negotiating for me.

In 10 months I paid almost 4500 into my debt account and they paid less than 500 towards settlements. They put me in a worse position than when I started with their program. The settlements that they arranged were decent except for the large fee that was added. I could have gotten almost the same settlement with the companies directly without 2000 in fees.

When I reached out to Freedom Debt Relief, they really explained the process and what I should expect to occur. I was looking for their services and they fulfilled a need that I had, but their customer service really sold me on it. They really did a good job of making me feel comfortable with moving forward. The person I talked to initially was extremely helpful. He made me feel safe and secure in my decision making. He answered any questions that I had. Although there were one or two that he said he’d have to check on something, he got back with me within a short amount of time.
I gave FDR the accounts and the amounts that I owed then they let me know how much I would put into the dedicated account to have it accumulate to eventually settle debts. I pay a certain amount every month, which is less than what I was paying in debt and it would be done within a period of five years. It has not been a year and they’ve already made the initial payments on three out of the about eight accounts. It has been a pain-free experience and so easy. You just follow the instructions they give you as far as referring your collectors to them. If you follow what they say, everything clicks and the debt comes down.

We put all our credit cards into Freedom Debt Relief's hands and everything is going great so far. They tell me when they have a settlement agreed upon, and I authorize it. They've got almost all of our credit debt taken care of. They say the process is about four years, but as long as we keep putting the money, they'll keep paying things off. The faster we put the money in, the faster they pay it off. I'm very happy with them and I would recommend them to anybody.

My husband passed away about two years ago and left me in a bind and I knew I had to do something. And the Freedom Debt Relief commercial came on TV, and I called the number right there. So far, every time I need to talk to somebody, they're there. They seem like they really do try to help. They really care. You don't always go by what anybody says, but they seem like they're trying to be there for you.
I worked with Cody, and I've been with the program for about eight months now. They called me and they could get me a loan, and so I'm gonna expect a phone call from somebody else to direct the process. With who's been dealing with me, they've gotten right back to me whenever I called or had a question or concern. Working with Freedom Debt Relief made me put all the credit cards away and watch my spending habits more. It gave me a peace of mind, and the debt collectors aren't contacting me. If Freedom Debt Relief does what they say they're going to do, then it's a good outlet for people who get in a bind and somebody who loses an income and a spouse, and that's going through a hardship.

I had no problems at all with my accounts until I took an early retirement for health reasons. I got in a bind and had to have help to get it resolved. I read certain different reviews and called FDR and the guy that originally talked to me was really helpful so I went with them. He was knowledgeable and very upbeat and positive about what could be done. I had originally been approached about doing the accelerated program and so I contacted them to see if I could qualify for it and go ahead and get it all taken care of. I was really nervous and upset about that.
FDR has been overall good except for one man specifically. He was a representative with the company and was very ugly and hateful. It actually happened whenever I’ve received that summons and he pretty much told me that I just have to deal with it on my own, that it was up to me what was gonna happen and nine times out of 10, that was gonna have to go to court. I knew that was not what was discussed to me prior. I had paid so much every month to receive an attorney’s help. But when I spoke with that rep that day he made me feel like I'm in the boat by myself and it was sinking. That man really does not need to be working with the company.
It really put an ugly taste in my mouth after talking to him. I thought maybe I did go with the wrong company. But then, later on that day I spoke with somebody else and so it made me feel better. He told me who I needed to call and how I needed to take care of it. Whenever you have all these credit cards that you’re having to deal with, and then all of a sudden there are two incomes to my house to one it's very stressful. And I'm the type that I've always sat on top of my bills and my credit is a big factor and it’s ruined my credit in a way, but I know now that there is hope that I can get that built back up. If I had a friend that was in a financial bind that I knew needed help to clean up their credit cards, I would recommend FDR.
