I've heard some good things about Freedom Debt Relief and when I checked into it, it seemed like the right program for us. Mike, the rep, was very informative, professional and answered a lot of my questions on how long my credit would start to build up again as well as questions my husband and I had. I was under the impression that Freedom Debt would pay the debt, and I would pay it as soon as they could negotiate something and then I would pay them back. But that didn't make sense because if I would stop and change my bank account, they wouldn’t be able to find these and they would inherit my debt and I would be gone. I was under the impression that everything would be paid off within four months and it took four months for them to even start negotiating. I had to build my bank account up with them and it all made sense once that happened.
Freedom Debt came with a payment plan that I could afford and I wanna get it paid off as soon as possible because my husband is in very bad health and that's $500 a month that I will have to live on more. Depending on the sale of my house, I will probably pay a good lump sum to get that paid off quicker. Working with Freedom Debt helped us to be able to do and to buy the things that we needed especially with his health because under all that credit card debt, I would be struggling every month to even get his medicine, which was the main reason I did it even though we didn't know at the time that the illness was terminal. It helped us to be able to afford to do a few more things without having to worry about because all were paid off on time. But I am disappointed that when I went to their sister company, my payment has gone up $60 a month and right now, that's a lot of money.

I am very pleased with the results of one of my debts. Just waiting on the second to be finalized. Only concern I had was that it took few months to settle and I was getting frustrated with the constant calls from the debtor.

I was in debt and didn't know how to get out. Freedom Debt Relief said they would negotiate between the creditors to get my bills paid off, but I did not expect for the fees to be a percentage of what I needed to pay. I guess you get nothing for free, so there had to be a price with it. The consultant was a fast talker, and I knew he was, and he walked me through it. He was very professional, and it was almost like I knew him from my childhood. I feel like the payment plan is too much, but it’s working for me and it gave me a relief of creditors.

I had a bunch of credit card debt because of an illness, and I couldn’t work. I needed to get the debt resolved pretty quickly, and Freedom Debt Relief seemed like they could work with me and keep my monthly payments fairly low so I could still pay bills. They helped resolve my debt through payments. They have a secured payment line that I provided each month. After I came back from the hospital, I was able to pay off so much a month. I just pay them, and then they’d notify the creditors and help settle the accounts.
I spoke with over 20 FDR reps during the program. I had to provide my Social Security Number, and then they looked up my account. They could answer questions based on the account updates that were in my online file. There were some trying times, and the last account I had to get resolved took a long time because they were trying to reach out to Citibank, and that took about eight months to get resolved. Nevertheless, I’ve completed the program and have settled all my remaining debts. Overall it was very stressful but still positive. I was able to get the debts settled, and that’s all I wanted.

I had three major credit cards that I had maxed out and was paying high interest on all three of them. Freedom Debt Relief's reps helped me get into their loan program. They had a lot of information, were very patient and explained everything to me in detail. They were very comforting and showed a lot of compassion too. They worked with me and what I had. I don’t make a whole lot yet they were able to work with my budget.
Everybody I worked with at Freedom was top-notch. They were all caring and concerned. If I had questions, they had answers. They never said, “I gotta call you back.” They knew on the spot what I needed and how to take care of it. I've turned somebody on to Freedom Debt and everybody whom I'm talked to who has gone with them has been happy. They made my life so much easier and took a huge weight off my shoulders. I realize now I can live without a credit card.

After doing the homework on Freedom Debt Relief, we decided that they are people we would be able to work with. They consolidated the debts that we needed to clean up and began to negotiate to help us get each of those paid off. They handled it in a way where the phone calls and the paperwork were removed from us and brought it to them so that anxiety was taken care of. They also made sure that our payment plan was affordable so it was comfortable for us. Plus, our rep was fabulous. The dignity and professionalism that he had was amazing, and there was no judgement, only pure help.
It was disappointing, however, that there was a lady who spoke to me and treated me very rudely. I understand every person is different and you can’t control everyone who answers the phone, but that was hurtful and difficult for me. Still, it has been a good experience overall. Our very last debt is being negotiated currently and we’re supposed to hear this week to make sure that one is cleared. We are absolutely grateful for the help that Freedom Debt Relief has provided and how they were able to keep our dignity intact.

We got hit with a lot of medical bills and they were huge because it was all out-of-pocket. The rep from Freedom Debt Relief that we talked to was very informative. He explained to us our situation as he saw it from our credit report and then he went over the different things and companies that we could deal with to get our debt straightened out and reduced down. He was filling the need that we were looking for. After talking to him, they're working on it now. We're still waiting to see what happens, but we have had some settlements go through already.
When Freedom Debt Relief would make a settlement, they would pull huge amounts out for their fees and then set up these small payments to go out to settle the debt. Since we've been in it, we've paid a lot but we haven't seen a lot going to the creditors. Then some guy called and said that we should get a loan to pay them all off through Freedom Debt Relief, but we didn't see the point of that. I wasn't happy with that at all. I called Freedom Debt Relief and asked them about it, and they said that a loan would make our credit better faster. But we've decided that we're just riding it out right now. We wanna get out of our debt and not take on another debt to cover it.

Previous rep said we finished last month and that we would receive the balance in our account by the 18th -- no transfer. Account fees have been deducted from our account and we don't understand why it is taking a month to close out bank account and receive an EFT directly into our checking account. I will be calling the bank directly today to make that request.

I went overboard with my credit card and they made my payment so high that I couldn't make them. It kept going up. I looked for the number one debt settlement companies and Freedom Debt Relief is the number one. My experience went very well. I liked the application process. I had to do a few things. I got a letter from one of the persons that I owe money to and I had to fax them. I'm gonna do that not tomorrow but Saturday because I don't get my check until tomorrow. I don't have the money. I'm living on a fixed income. I'm living on my social security right now, and I don't get my check until tomorrow because tomorrow's the 3rd. I usually get it on the 3rd, but because the 3rd falls on a Sunday, they give it to you on a Friday, which I like.
With Freedom Debt Relief, I like the fact that I don't have to pay out any money and all goes right into whatever I'm paying, which is nice. I did find out that you have to pay the government some money on what you're paying. You have to pay an interest on the money that you're paying now. I talked to Freedom Debt Relief and they said, "Yeah, you probably will have to pay something on the money that you're paying back to all these people." I'm paying up not a whole lot of money. I'm not paying $30,000. I'm paying like 16,000, which is not that much. They told me, "We have people with $30,000 and we're helping them so we could sure help you."
I had one settlement with Freedom Debt Relief and I'm waiting for the next one. The quality of the service from Freedom Debt Relief is pretty good. I had to send them stuff. I had to fax them stuff, but that wasn't hard to do. I just take it to a place that will fax it to them. It didn't cost that much. it was $4 a fax. Freedom Debt Relief more or less take care of everything. If I get anything from somebody, they want me to fax it so they can look at it. I'm very satisfied with them. I got nervous about owing all that money but they said, “Don't worry about it, you don't owe that much.”

I’m a senior and I read in the book or in something, and Freedom Debt Relief was one of my options. And since then I’ve had several others called. But I’m perfectly happy with FDR. I’ve not had to consult with anybody. Everything has run so smoothly and I’ve not had any questions to ask them. Everything was laid out for me. So, it was all in black and white. If I need to get a message, or if they need anything from me they usually email me and I just respond to that or they give me information on how my progress is going. They also did exceptionally well with my payment plan because I’m on such a short, fixed income. That means really tight. And so, they’ve managed with my payment very, very well. I’m not disappointed at all. They did it within my reach.

In 2016, my son was dying in the hospital. I got a bill for 100 and something thousand dollars, it kept him alive. They found out what was wrong with him. But he was in the hospital for a month. And those medical bills kept adding up. We kept adding to the card too because we're paying for medical and paying for stuff. The next year, I had an open heart surgery, broke my leg, I had to get a pacemaker. So, within two years, we went from living okay to a life with so much debt. It hit me hard and I wasn’t able to continue paying on everything. Freedom Debt Relief took over in paying my bills. Everything went good with their consultant. I like the payment plan that they provided for me. When they get ready to make a settlement, everything falls in to place. So far, I’ve been able to pay my monthly bills off to where I can add to the monthly installment plan that I have with Freedom.
My only issue was they told me to leave a number and to change the address so I wouldn’t get bombarded with the credit companies trying to call me, which I didn't see the need because Freedom eventually would start the process of taking care of the bills and I'd have the choice of picking up the phone and talking to somebody. With that, my address changed in the whole system so when other people tried to locate me, they started sending their inquiries and their bills to a fake address. I had a medical bill that people were trying to collect on and everybody thought I live in Arizona because when you type in my name, one of my addresses is Arizona. When they finally got a hold of me, it was a collection agency. I never got that other hospital bill because it went over to Arizona. I would have taken care of it, but I didn't like the idea that the medical bill went to a collection agency. I’ve had that experience with two different companies as well.
My other issue was when I sent the bill in, I asked the Freedom people about a month ago why they haven’t taken care of the smallest one. They said they don’t choose them like that. It doesn't work that way. In fact, this one company just recently sent my bill to collection and that’s going on my report now. It was below 500 and now, it’s up to $800 because I haven’t paid on it within the last year and a half. Had I known that, I would have gone ahead and just continued. But it doesn't matter because by not being able to pay the bills, I'd still get a mark on my credit score for that, regardless. And then, the guy told me that once I make an agreement, they start paying down any bill. When it’s paying up, it’s up to the people there. Within a month, they usually take it off the credit report.
And then, it increases the credit score because some of the things that I put in were my husband's and some were mine. There were a total of nine and they have three paid off. They have four in the works, and they have two that they still have to negotiate. It’s the highest one and the lowest one that needs to be worked on. And I’m about to pay two of my bills off totally. When I do that, they told me that they’d be able to make negotiations for another one. I’ve been with them a year and a half, so I’ve got about another two and a half years. But they got it set up to where some of the things will be paid off. I was able to pay all the medical bills off. That was why I was able to increase how much I put in. And when you increase your monthly payments or you make an extra payment, they pay off some bills quicker. Every time they pay one off, they make negotiations on another one.
I made a contract with them. I started with $420. And now, it is up to $500. They told me how much my total bills were and my monthly payments. They told me that the bill would average me over $800 a month. So, when I signed up with them, they knocked it down to me owing just half of that. The payment started out at $420 and they take 210 out biweekly. I had three checks coming in a month. When I told them what days to take it out, half a payment comes out of one check, and half a payment comes out of the other one. And I don't have to worry about those bills, or those credit cards.
Now, if I go ahead and I end up increasing it $50 per paycheck, that’s $100 more a month, and they will be able to negotiate on another card to pay because they have the money in the account, and they charge a fee when they take stuff out of the account. As your account builds up, they make your payments and they give you a schedule. And that shows what happens to the money that you got in there and what you're putting in.
Also, there’s a telephone number that you can call or a site you can go on if you wanna increase your monthly payments or do a one-time payment. I can just put $100 in or I can increase it, and that was how I’ve done it whenever I’ve increased it. I’ve called the telephone number about four times when I had any questions and they answered my question with a bit more knowledge. It helps you understand what they're doing, and how they're doing it, and where your money’s gone.
When you pay your credit cards yourself, you’re paying on a lot of interest. And every time you paid, only $10 of what you paid goes to the card itself. I was doing the thing where if you paid minimum, whenever the thing would come through, it would be like I only paid three dollars on the whole thing. So, the card can really add up. Before I went to this debt relief, I tried to call the credit card companies and asked them if they would work with me on the interest. I was having trouble paying my bills and nobody would work with me. It’s funny that I had to go to a card company like Freedom to help get me out of debt when all they had to do was agree to lower the interest.
Overall, I’m not worried about the amount of money that I paid Freedom because whenever they send the particulars, when they agree and everything else, they fax or email you what they’ve agreed to - how much the monthly payments are gonna be and what the total amount is gonna be to pay a card back. So, it’s saving me thousands of dollars. One of them was $4004, and the company agreed to take 28 instead of the 4000. So, they're big chunks of money that they save you.

I went with Freedom and thus far, their service has been satisfying. I usually have problems with my computer that runs too slow and so I usually may phone calls. Freedom's reps have been very helpful. Even when I’ve had to do things over the computer on the dashboard, they’ve been able to help me and guide me through the steps.
I would like there to be more communication before Freedom has a settlement as there have been times that I've been busy and I won't see my phone. At times, they're negotiating something and I don't find out until two days later. A call would be helpful. Thus far, working with Freedom has helped me a great deal because I was paying a lot of bills and dealing with the worry of having to send payment to every one of those. Even so, since I came on to Freedom's program, I just send that one payment to them.

The representatives from Freedom Debt Relief have great personality. But I need to get in touch with them. I received an email from them and they want me to refinance because I’m able to pay the 600 a month. I don’t understand that. I think there are two accounts that they have lowered the amount, Home Depot and I don’t know if they’re working with Synovus right now. They said pay first and then they help me pay the debt. I think they want me to get it all together and make a loan. In that way, I get out of debt faster.

A couple of years ago, I got behind on my credit cards. Freedom's rep told me about their program and I went with them. I've put over $24,000 in the program and everything has always been paid on time. Yesterday, I wanted to take a month off for personal reasons and I wanted money to stay in my bank account. Freedom's rep, Marcus gave me a hard time. He said that I could take a month off but then I would lose all the negotiations that they've done for me. I didn't wanna hear that. He also said that I won't have any money left in my account at the end of each month. I told him that I would and that it said on my dashboard how much money I have. I also said that my dashboard isn't worth a hoot because it's not telling me exactly what I have in my account. Marcus couldn't answer that.
In the beginning, when Freedom was looking for business, they were great and I couldn't say enough about them. Their reps answered all my questions. If had a problem I would give them a call and they took care of everything for me. I had one letter from an attorney which I turned over to them and they took care of the whole thing. They provided excellent service until yesterday. I was very satisfied with them.

As instructed I stopped my automatic payments from the creditors listed on my Freedom account. However I still get calls from some creditors looking for a payment. Should I disregard those calls. Other than that issue I am completely satisfied with my Freedom account and all the interactions that go along with it.

Freedom Debt Relief already settled 2 out of my 3 accounts. The third one is larger, so it’s gonna take a while because my fund needs to build up. I wish I could contribute more but I’m still trying to find a full-time job. So, from a financial hardship standpoint, it keeps getting worse. My credit score was 580 in the last time I checked, and it's painful for me to see it since I’m used to having a strong credit score. But it is what it is. Working with Freedom is certainly better than filing bankruptcy. When I signed up with them, it went really well and I was very happy with it in terms of the process, how they communicate, and how I’m able to respond and do what I need to do with each account as they go through the settlement process. So, it’s working well.

I searched and shopped around for debt relief companies, then I enrolled with Freedom. I liked my initial talk with their customer service rep and he walked me through the process. Signing up went smoothly and I didn’t have any issues except for I wish the lagging between the accounts and stuff was quicker. When I was still starting with them, I still got a lot of phone calls that were harassing me. But that's part of it until everything gets a rolling. It has worked real good with Freedom Debt Relief. They were the first one who has ever called me and I'm really happy with them. The payment was just a little high. I always paid my bills on time regardless of how hard it was, but it was not where I wanted to be. The Freedom Debt Relief rep reassured me that going with them was the right thing to do and really gave me a good feeling. The amount of money that my creditors lent to me went up from when I first decided to turn it over to Freedom Debt Relief which was scary, but they told me to change my phone number and address and let them do everything. In the beginning, I might have had a few calls from my creditors and I explained what I was doing and most of them understood. Then, I would let Freedom Debt Relief know that I got a call and they would handle it and reassure me that everything was okay. They've also been very helpful anytime I have a question.
Freedom Debt Relief worked with a payment plan that they knew I could afford and it was very reasonable. Plus, I had no idea that they were gonna renegotiate and take the debt down quite a bit. I'm on the right track and I'm almost done paying my debt off. Pretty soon, the money I'm putting towards paying those bills down will come back to me again. I just have what I need as far as a debit card and one credit card and the rest are gone.

We’ve heard a lot about Freedom Debt Relief. We also read up about them before we enrolled into their program and their reputation just stood out. Their service has been wonderful. Every time we have a question, we call and they answered everything very well. I’ve enjoyed the experience. We’ve been in the program since January of this year and it has tremendously helped us. I had a lot of credit card debt. And because I couldn’t really pay it down quickly, it just seemed to just explode with all of the interest rate. I was getting to the point where my income couldn’t hardly even pay the minimum payments on it. So, I talked to Freedom Debt Relief to help with that, and they did. I’ve seen their commercials on TV. I looked them up and found that they had a good rating so I went with them.
One of the people that I talked to was Travis. He answered all of my questions. He seemed to know what he was talking about. He was nice and sympathetic. We discussed the amount of money that they were gonna take out, and they did that every month. And I had the money in there so it worked out well. The only thing I wasn’t really that happy about is the amount of their fees. And I know that they’re in this to make money, and they could’ve gotten a much better settlement than I could’ve, and they know what they’re doing. So, I realize I’m paying for the service. But what’s happening is my debt, where I was repaying them $28,000, they’re charging on those $20,000 fees. I had $6,000 in my account, that account that I have, that dedicated account for Freedom Debt Relief. When they did the payoff, and I got the loan and they paid everything off, Freedom Debt Relief took all but $53 of that in their fees. So, I wasn’t happy about that. That’s a lot.
And they’re charging 22% interest, which I think is outrageous. It really wasn’t made clear to me that they were gonna charge all that money. What they told me was, unless there was fine print that I didn’t read or something. But I know that they’re getting the results that I couldn’t get on my own. They did help, and in four years, I’m going to be totally free of that debt. And I’m grateful for that. I just think that they need to be a little more upfront with what the fees are going to be and how that’s going to affect everything. Because I don’t think they did a very good job in that respect.
I’m 70 years old and I’m hoping that I’ll still be able to work for the next four years so I can pay this off. The girl that I spoke with suggested that I give them a call in about six months to see if they would lower my interest rate and it could lower the payment. And if they don’t wanna do that, I’m gonna look into getting a personal loan. Because 22% is a lot for a loan, and I had good credit. So, hopefully, I will be able to get a loan that I can pay off. And again, this is not the tax relief program, this is loan program. I had the occasion to call there once or twice about something, and everyone I spoke to was very nice and very helpful. So, I was very happy with their service.

I had three credit cards, and my interest was so high on them, I just couldn’t get ahead. I happened to see information for Freedom Debt Relief and thought maybe I would try them to see if I could get these credit cards paid off. The consultant explained everything -- what would happen and how it would happen. They were courteous and very explanatory. I made a decision to find a debt relief company, then I went online, and my decision was to go with Freedom Debt Relief. Whenever I had a question, I call the consultants and they seem to answer my questions. The payment plan seems reasonable too. It would be nice to pay the bills faster but there isn't any way to do that at this point. I've been with Freedom for about a year already and while there’s been a little bit of stress, there's been a little less agonizing phone calls.

I got credit card problems and I needed to do something. Freedom asked me what I could do and I told them, and they said that was fine. I told them what would work for me and they agreed with it. They were awesome. I was very comfortable working with them. I hardly ever talk to them. But they'll text me and I'll text back yes if I wanted something approved. I have not had any problems, so everything's fine. I would recommend them. Now, I don't have a credit that's calling me.

Every time I called Freedom Debt Relief, they've been very helpful and have solved the problem I called about. They let me know whenever somebody has been paid off and they've closed out about five accounts. Most of them do what they said they were gonna do and things have been going much smoother and quicker than I thought it would. The only problem I had was when the lawyer messed up and didn't handle a crossover. So, the creditor went in one of my bank accounts and took the money. That caused a little hardship, but other than that, FDR is good about what they do. I have recommended them to some of my friends.

I was making a call to another company but somehow Freedom Debt Relief answered the call. I saw a number, dialed it and they were the ones that came up. I was in a situation where I needed to consolidate. The reps were very easy to talk to. When I spoke to the first person that day when I connected on the line, they explained everything very clearly, politely, and informed me of what was ahead of me. I decided to go along with them because of the way they directed me, and so far, I'm comfortable with them. I really don't understand how to get in the computer and do certain things but they took the time out to work with me, to show me how and what to do. And if I had a problem, they gave me a backup number to call them to get further assistance. The're very helpful and reliable.
I feel good because the phone calls have stopped. There are still a few that come in, and when they do, I just tell them this is what I'm doing. So I'm not stressed out the way I was before. I was really stressed out before I got in contact with Freedom because I was doing minimum payment but nothing was going anywhere. My credit score is not dropping anymore because whatever offer Freedom made to the different people that I owe, it stopped whatever was going on with my credit score. I'm very satisfied. If anyone got themselves in any trouble like I did and don't know what to do, they should call Freedom and connect to it because they really stand up on their word. They're highly recommended.

All of them at Freedom Debt Relief have been extremely professional. They had a lot of information, and they provided me with everything. If I had questions, they answered them. If I called back and didn't understand something, I could always call back, and they were able to help me. They knew what they were doing. I went with them because I saw a commercial on TV and I wasn't familiar with any other debt settlement companies. They consolidate my credit card debt which I needed to get handled, and then they do most of the managing and the negotiation with the creditor. I have two more years to complete the program. Compared to what I was paying before, they made my life a little bit more manageable.

I went with them for what I owed on my credit card and they took what I owed into a payment plan for which I have a certain amount taken out every month. That amount goes towards what I owe. Thus far, they have taken care of half of my debt. When they set up my payment plan they did the days that were good for me, particularly when I get my social security. The payment automatically comes out which makes things a lot easier. I've gotten very good service from FDR thus far. I had a lot of medical bills and I couldn't pay my credit cards. They helped me with that. I was able to live.

I will recommend to anyone that's way beyond their means like I was. I've always paid my bills on time, I made payments of would I could was getting a little behind on the interests. I spoke with Jerome ** and he was most helpful in addressing my questions. However your people have been trying to pay off my last credit card for about a month now with no success. I was asked to call the credit card company, U S Bank, and they told me I could pay off the settlement amount right then over the phone and that Freedom Debt Relief had all the info needed to do the same; yet the settlement has not been paid off. I came across Freedom Debt Relief through Credit Karma. Things that can help you get your debts paid down or clear your debts with short-term things. And I called them on the phone to see what they were about. So far, I’ve had a great experience with them. They’ve been upfront and kept me in the loop of things. And when they needed things, they would contact me. We would talk and discuss what we were going through. The consumer help was very helpful. I got everything paid off and they consolidated everything for me. I’m just waiting to see what my outcome of this is gonna be so far because I haven’t heard anything further than that they paid them. I don’t know if everything went through and I don’t have any idea of what’s going on to this point. But I’ll recommend them.

When I talked to Freedom Debt's welcoming teem, I found that they were a lot more knowledgeable and they were able to help me a lot better than some of the other companies I looked at. I went with them and Todd, the rep whom I worked with, was outstanding. He told me what to do and how to do those things. He was very professional. Freedom worked with me on my payment schedule. They laid out the process and the payments based on the two days I get my checks. Now, I'm almost finished with their program and they've negotiated with the eight companies I was dealing with. We've gotten all the settlements just about done. Being with Freedom has cut down on all the annoying phone calls.

When I lost my full-time job, I was stuck with a bunch of stupid credit cards. I looked up Freedom Debt Relief and I saw a lot of good stuff about them and they had really good ratings. The person I spoke with was very sweet. I have a hard time understanding things. When you get older, you have a hard time with technical stuff. But my consultant did a really good job. If I had any questions, I could call her. And if she couldn’t call me back, she would put me through another person right away. Everybody has been really nice and I always get really good answers. My payment plan is perfect right now and hopefully, one day, I could increase it.

Freedom Debt Relief's people are always wonderful with me. I'm impressed with their knowledge, and if they didn’t have an answer to a question right then and there, they promptly researched it. I also like that they have the option to have lawyers in case you need them. I'm about two-thirds into the program, and though I still get letters, I don’t get as many calls. The fees are a little high, but it's a great program and it helps negotiate my debt down. I’m very satisfied with Freedom, and I already have recommended them.

It has been really great working with Freedom Debt Relief. The only issue I had was with the Discover Card because they were underhanded with what they did. The lady who was taking care of that had me do some paperwork immediately and I only had three days over the weekend to sign and send it in. So, that one was bad, and I would like to see some of the negotiations go a little bit better. They said the program would be done in four years, but I'm looking at the timeline, and it's more like five years. I'm just finishing my first year in November, and I'm looking to get my debt cleared and have some money again.

I called for assistance when one of my creditors tried to do an "end run" by selling my debt to another party. They sent me a letter to tell me they had done so, but neglected to tell Freedom Debt Relief they had done so. FDR then thought this was a new debt to be added to my list. I called to explain my end of it, and Canan was able to help me relax and be assured things were going to be just fine.

Before I enrolled in the Freedom Debt Relief Plan, I felt as if I was spinning my wheels trying to make ends meet on a fixed income. They are very greedy. The client doesn't come first. I was sued five times because they don't negotiate or even tell your creditors they're helping you. They stopped negotiating but never told us. Stay away from them. I could have lost a lot. The money they save you goes into their pockets.

Freedom Debt Relief was the first one to call me and discuss what I was looking for. The debt consultants I worked with were really good. They explained to me everything that was gonna happen and made me feel comfortable as to the service they could provide and help me with my debt problem. They gave me a timeframe, and there were updates. And at this point, I’m not dealing with Freedom anymore. I completed it already, and I was transferred over to another service that I’m dealing with now. They finally worked with Freedom and they paid off everything early. I saw somewhere that Freedom Debt Relief was number one in the country. I had a very good experience. The debt consultants handled everything correctly, except I did put in one account and they didn’t use it. They thought it was a duplicate, so I probably still owe money to one of the creditors. They’re very polite. Everybody is very nice, friendly, and didn’t make me feel like a criminal. They’re always there to answer the questions. Their service fees are rather high. The monthly payment was rather extreme too. But I owed a lot of money so we plowed through. It took away a lot of phone calls and worry.

Being in debt and feeling as if there's no relief is a horrible feeling. These predatory lenders don't want you to pay off the debt. They won't lower the insane interest rates, or really help you out. Even if you've been with their financial institutions for years. I was happy to find out there were programs like this out there to help out someone drownining in despair and debt. Thanks for all you guys do. I went with Freedom for my credit card debt and a personal loan. Working with their rep was good but then with my payment plan, they're asking me to make a payment that's more now than in the beginning. The payments are going out of my account every two weeks.

I Googled Freedom Debt Relief and after I made the calculations of how much I owed, I noticed that I wasn’t gonna be able to pay it on time. I called them and they answered right on the spot. They took care of everything within 24 to 48 hours, and I enrolled in the program. Every time I call, they answer and I’m not put on hold. Through email as well, they respond within 24 hours. Anyone that answers the phone can resolve the issue. The only thing that they can probably improve is, I changed all my phone numbers and I told them I changed it online, and they were still contacting my old phone number. And I know this because the only thing that I kept the same was my email, and I kept receiving emails from them whenever one of my balances was settled. I have to do it via email instead of via text like I was doing in the beginning.
Freedom has been taking care of all my accounts for over a year now. I had a $58,000 debt, and they cut it to $25,000. They’ve already paid off six of my cards and it’s only been a year. They’re settling my accounts really quick, which I like. There’s no hassle of them having to increase the amount of money that I have to pay. No creditors are calling me, which is awesome. They have an option of if you refer a friend, they give you a $250 check, or if you wanna apply it to your account, you can for every friend that you refer. That helped me out a lot in the beginning. I'm really happy with the whole program.

My experience with Freedom Debt Relief has been good up until last month. I wasn’t having any issues at all. My credit score has gone up over 100 points and I was happy with it. But they changed their payment plan, and now, it screwed up my finances. I had to pay weekly. And before I signed up for the program where the man initially set the program up for me, I stressed to him that I have to pay weekly. So, he said that they go in and manually can set it to weekly. So, they set it to weekly for three months at that time. But they don’t do it automatically. I had to call and remind them to set it up weekly instead of bi-weekly.
The week before this week, they took two payments out because I didn’t know that it was the end of the three months. So, my account went into the negative. I had a $45 insufficient fund charge. The $247 is half my paycheck, and that’s why I told them I have to do it weekly. I can’t do it biweekly. And now, they changed the payment plan, and I have to call in every month to make my payment. I had to call in every month to have them set it for $119 a week, instead of $240 over two weeks. I work two jobs. My husband has cancer, so we’re going through major chemo and radiation, and I don’t have enough time in the day to stop and call somebody for 45 minutes to have them reset my payment to $119 a week. I’m seriously thinking about quitting the program.
Before, I had to call every three months. Now, I have to call every 30 days and I’m on the phone for at least 30 or 45 minutes where they go in and manually set my payments to $119 a week. They have to manually do it. The payment program that they have is only for biweekly or monthly. They don’t have a payment plan for weekly, so I have to call in before the biweekly payment. I have to call in and I have to have them set it for weekly and they have to manually do it. So, I have to manually call in every single month now. I had asked them. They told me nothing. They’re not interested in changing it.
Other than that, they’ve done great. My husband’s credit score’s gone up. Our credit score was in the 400. Mine is now 620 and my husband’s at 720. They’ve done a great job as far as that is concerned. From the very first week since they took it over, I stopped getting harassing phone calls. I haven’t had any problems at all until they changed their program last month. And it screwed it up. They need to set the program so that people can pay weekly.

I became temporarily disabled and needed to reduce my debt so I could manage my house payment, etc. while not working. My credit rating was 751 at that time, and FDR assured me that they would help me to maintain a good score. I refinanced my house and within a few months, had more than enough money in the account to negotiate full payments to the four creditors I enrolled with them. They quickly resolved two of the debts but waited until the last two accounts had accumulated an additional $1700 in penalties and interest. Throughout my time with them, they charged me $20 per month. With those accounts, they created a payment plan that would lock me in for another two years with them. I called them every few months to tell them that I needed them to pay off those accounts.
Although they were pleasant on the phone, they were telling me falsehoods that would hold me at bay for a few more months. The last three times I called them, I said that they must return the remaining funds to me so that I could get it done. They told me that my complaint was going to be reviewed by management. They completed my case 6 months later. I received a packet in the mail that included the activity with them. It did not disclose a truthful picture of the amount I paid to get my debt paid. The statement claimed that I paid 55% of my debt, but the reality is that I paid 75.64%. They failed to disclose the fees they charged for each resolution. I had to look at my bank statements and do a bit of math. My credit score is in the mid 400s. I could have negotiated my debt (I have done it in the past) and saved a more significant amount without sacrificing my credit score.

I have had a good experience with FDR for the most part but I have 2 items on FDR through US Bank. The credit card part of it obviously received info from FDR but not the loan part. I was told by FDR that a fax was sent in March, but told by US Bank loan that they have not received anything. I have asked for the loan manager to be called but no one will call him. HELP!!

FDR Representatives have been great. Always helpful and ready to get information if they do not immediately have the answers. When I received notice I was being sued the Representative was on the phone with me for close to 45 minutes answering questions and gathering information for me. He then emailed me all the information so I would have it to review again if necessary. I highly recommend them to anyone considering going this way to get out of debt.

I was drowning in debt and saw no way out with monthly payments only covering accrued interest on credit cards. I felt immediate relief with these credit card payments out of my budget. I went with Freedom to consolidate my debt. I worked with a bunch of their reps and if I have a problem I just call in to talk to one of them. The rep I speak to tells me what's going on and I go from there. I pay Freedom $400 a month and I'm very satisfied with them. Everything has been all right so far. Freedom has been a good company to work with. Just pay them the money and they'll take care of your bills.

I did a little research, talked to some people, and I went with the consensus. I signed up with Freedom and their debt consultants were very good. They took all the time that was needed, explained everything, and made sure they didn't have any questions unanswered. They're doing exactly what I expected. If they could make all the debt disappear, that would be wonderful. But, no. Still, I'm very happy with what they're doing. They worked with me for a payment plan and there is no problem with communication. They don't call me every week, but they've got a nice dashboard for the customer to go to and see what's going on. And any time I have a question, I call, and they're always there.
At present, I'm a lot more comfortable than I was. There was a point when I didn't know how to see we were ever gonna get paid off, and now I see a way. I didn't just run off debt and not worried about it. I just fell into some tough situations and I'm retired. Then all of a sudden, I'm in a bind. So, it's been good being with Freedom. I've got two more debts on there that we need to get on plan, and I'll be definitely happy as soon as they get on.

One of my creditors sued me and FDR supported me and provided legal assistance in that case. I really appreciated it because I have diligently made payments to my creditors but the balance was not being significantly reduced. I’m looking forward to settling and paying off all my bills.

The introduction to FDR went by very smoothly and Amy kept me very calm through the steps. I am trying be calm through the initiatory of the program. I was happy with Freedom, but then I keep getting these calls from Consolidation Plus. The last guy pretty much made me feel like I had no choice, I needed to take the loan so US Bank would not sue me. Now I have a monthly payment that is almost but not quite doubled. If I had it to do over I would have took my chances with US Bank. Is there any way I can extend this loan to get my monthly payment lower?

Overall my experience was acceptable, however when my final account was to be settled I was told they could not settle it. I have been in the program for 4 years, at no point was I told about the issue of settling this account. I was not told that this account would continue to accrue interest putting me in a much worse place than when I started the program with an additional $10,000 of debt nearly canceling any debt reduction the program aided in.

Freedom's consultant was very good. On the other hand, the attitude of some of their customer service people wasn't so good. I asked them to find out information for me and they said "Sorry, we don't do that." Even so, they helped me with my payment plan very well. Recently, I had a very good conversation with the person who informed me how well I'm doing with the program. Going with FDR took a lot of pressure off of me.

I'm finished with the first part of Freedom Debt Relief's program, and I was very satisfied. I talked to several different people and they were all very nice. My consultant has been fine. Sometimes, things are hard to do, and you have to do them two or three times. It is an everyday thing for me. There are days that I just don't think about it, and it feels good not to think about it. I dread the four and a half more years of payment to Consolidated Plus. I really had to think really hard to figure out how it's saving me money. I realize that the credit card companies would have just been adding more and more charges on, and so I would pay a whole lot more to them than I'm paying this way.
The payment to Freedom was okay, but now this one to Consolidated Plus is almost $100 a month higher, and I really wish that it wasn't. But the rep said that can't be changed, so I'll deal with it. It'll be worth it in the long run. Since they paid those credit cards off, I'm able to function really well as far as being able to do what I need to do financially. And so, that's a plus right there. If I knew of anyone that was in trouble like this, I would definitely recommend Freedom Debt Relief. In fact, when I saw it advertised on television, I thought it might have been connected with the government. But then I realized it wasn't, but I realized why the word 'Freedom' was on there because it does give you freedom.

The young lady that help me the other day was absolutely wonderful trying to clean up my credit and she worked with me until everything was taken care of. Do you need more people like her. I was unhappy with my most recent debt offer to pay approximately 75%. Yes I broke a lease but the rental co. got to keep all the extra funds given to them. I rented under duress, flying from Fl. to N.E. My mother began to die as I drove south. I took the apt. before cleaned & painted. The kind rental agent left & I could not negotiate my departure, out of state with her. The apt. complex did fine with my fees on my departure. I will agree to pay them $400. Refusing the offer, the last FDR agent was fine to my knowledge. PS going into this negotiation I made it crystal clear that I would not accept a similar offer! Senior with only S.S.

When I went with Freedom Debt Relief, I was thinking they were the best one I could choose and now I think that I made a good choice. Everything has been going well, so far. Their consultants usually always contact me for anything, including settlements, promotions, and how I can do better with the credit cards. They always send me stuff in my email or they text me, so I like it. My questions and concerns have been addressed well too. So far, everything in my payment plan has been doing great works for me, and it works for the company too. So, I'm satisfied with that. Absolutely, my life is changed since I signed the contract with Freedom Relief. My life, and everything, is better. I would recommend them as well.

My bills and credit cards were so much, and I lost my job. I was on Facebook and saw Freedom Debt Relief and said, “Well, let me try this.” And it’s working so far. The rep I worked with gave me her personal number, to call her if I had any problems or stuff like that. I was confident then because most times, I get these things, calling me, and I’m kind of scared that it might be fraud or whatever. I didn’t feel that way with her. Also if I have a question, I call, they answer it, and explain everything to me. They even go beyond. There are times that I have a little difficulty paying the monthly payments because I’m not working. Every time I call and ask them to reduce the amount that has to be paid, it’s done. They assist me a great lot in that way. I would recommend them to anybody because they’re genuine and it works for me.

I had too many bills at one time. I had too much credit card debt. I liked that Freedom Debt Relief was easy to work with. It was straightforward. I told the rep what I needed and he told me what they can do. They told me how much it's gonna be and I agreed to it, and then I set the dates and that was it. Their fees are high, but besides that, it's fine. My credit started going down and I'm working on getting it back.

With all the stuff that my ex-wife left me, I needed help badly and I went with Freedom. Thus far, I've had a good experience with them and they've done me nothing but good. Initially, they gave me a lower payment plan but I went with a higher one to get my debt paid off quicker. I'd definitely tell anybody about their service.

It would be helpful if FDR would get involved with creditors at the same point clients are sending the creditors new contact info. At this point I only have one past due payment... with CitiBank and another with Chase. Plan to send each Creditor a new contact info later on next week. D. ** has already been sent a copy of the letters. Changed contact info online at each of the three websites.

It just seems that the amounts being paid to creditors per month is too small and that my debt free dates are getting pushed further into the future. I really don’t know how to make it better because I cannot increase my monthly payment. I do know that I am going to stick with it.

I am in the middle of my debt relief program while writing this, but my experience with FDR has been very good. The support team is prompt with responding that they received my e-mail when I send in letters from creditors and other correspondence. Many of my debts to date have been settled and it has been a definite burden off me to have FDR in my corner negotiating these settlements. The videos on the site were helpful to understand how the process works and flows as well as what my part is in it all. I am glad to have found FDR and have them on my side during this financial journey.
