Freedom Debt Relief has been very helpful. They've explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood, including what my outcome would be and how long the program would last. I have credit card debt and I want to get out, but I'm on a suspension right now because I'm unemployed. FDR's service has been excellent though.

I heard testimonies about Freedom Debt Relief on the TV, and I thought, “Okay, this is gonna be something for me because I was in dire straits big time.” And the gentleman that I spoke with, Patrick, spent time with me and went over everything, and it was a wonderful experience. I recommended the company to my brother, and he’s also a Freedom Debt Relief client. I’ve had good experiences with them and everything is going very well. It's very easy to get in touch with Patrick. I’ve had to call and speak with somebody maybe twice, and it was very quick and easy. The consultants at Freedom Debt Relief are great people. They’re always very helpful. This is my second time calling them because everything has always been done online and I understand everything that’s going on. I go into our dashboard a lot and make sure everything’s going okay. And then we were gonna switch over to the other sister company that gives you a loan. The guy that I spoke to was super nice and I never finished giving him the information because it’s so busy, and to get all that stuff around took me too long and I missed the deadline. So, that was my fault. But otherwise, everything’s good and everybody’s been very nice and helpful. I've never had to call in before since everything else has been taken care of. Like I'm worried about this bill this month, but then I look over it and then it’s already been negotiated so I don’t have to worry about it.

After I applied online I was very quickly contacted over the phone. The agent was very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with me. In a matter of an hour I signed the contract, registered on the dashboard and completed the process. I am still new to the program to give a detailed review but so far I am very happy. I am so excited to pay off my credit card debt and build back my credit.

I would recommend Freedom Debt Relief to individuals who are struggling with owing to Creditors regarding credit card debt. In addition, I knew that I was in trouble because my credit card payments were getting higher than my monthly salary. Therefore, I called Freedom Debt Relief for help. Truthfully, I am so glad that I turned to Freedom Debt Relief assistance.
Once I spoke with an agent, he or she assured me, that I did not have to do anything but make an agreement making sure monthly monies were deposited into my account in order to cover enough monies for my debt owed. This is the best part, my creditors have been negotiating by making a settlement. Wow!!! “What a Relief.” Furthermore, now all I have to do now, is to make sure I continue making my monthly payments to Freedom Debt Relief. Moreover, I am pleased throughout this entire process because I did not have to hassle with creditors bothering me with telephone calls. Freedom Debt Relief took care of it all. Your company ignored Amex and I was sued. Had to step in last second and negotiate since you didn't. Now again, I have another suit I was served with that you neglected to take care of or even notify me. You did nothing. The whole time assuming you're doing your job.

Although not fully out of the storm yet, Freedom Debt Relief program has been giving me the peace of mind I desperately needed! Have not feared legal persecution knowing they are by my side! I had absolutely no idea that this company would cause me to have to go to court and have judgments against me. I've done everything they've asked me to do. They don't tell you that "there are some creditors we don't have a good relationship with." (From the representative themself). If I had known that, I would have never let them negotiate the debt. Now I'm faced with garnished wages, judgements, and a lien on my home. I would NEVER trust this company again.

I got myself into some debt in the amount of $20,000 and was paying roughly $600 per month for it. I felt like I was drowning and could not get out of it. I wish I would have just kept up with it and avoided this entire process. Yes, it all sounded great and was less per month but in the end it was not worth the additional stress it caused me. I am now 2 yrs in and have made several attempts to speed up the process by making additional payments but they continue to keep me on track to graduate the program in 2021.
They have an option on their website that says "Make a one-time additional deposit or increase your regular deposit to reach your Graduation Date sooner." I have done this and they are telling me they can't make additional payments because of the way their system operates. I think this is totally unfair. They are making me stay in this horrible state of affairs for what?? I am doing what I can to be done faster and they just want to keep me in the same state. I do not appreciate what they have done and now I am even more stuck than before. Do not do this if you can avoid it. It is not worth it.

Creditor filed a claim in court to collect on debt, although it was worrisome for me, the litigation group and guidance from FDR was awesome. The process was painless, resolved, and debt is now in the settled side. Thank you!

We began this journey eight months ago and as of today we now have only two more debts to settle. So far our experience has been very good and we look forward to seeing our debts paid off within 2/3 years instead of four. Thank you Freedom Debt for helping us to be able to do this. Before you sign up for Financial Freedom, make sure you have extra money sitting around. It wasn't explain to me when I first signed up that I was going to have to come up with extra money outside of the two monthly payments. I have already had two lawsuits that required me to pull out an extra $3,000 and extra $14,000 in order to settle these two accounts. Since I'm unemployed, I had to dig into my 401k to pay both of those extra amounts. In conclusion, BEWARE if you have no extra money in your bank account when you sign up for this program.

To date, FDR has resolved more than 1/2 of our outstanding credit card debt and saved us more than half of the amount owed. FDR is pleasant and helpful every time we call. My only issue is being able to access the dashboard from my work computer.

My score prior to engaging in this program was in the 700s. It's now 520 and after 2 years the debt is still there. I am not certain when I will be able to repair the damage of my credit score. For the first time in my life I had to have my daughter cosign for me. I would not recommend this as a debt solution. If I had known the impact it would have on my overall score I would not have taken this path.

Updated on 01/02/2020: Discover card took this account to small claims. They informed FDR that they were going to do this and FDR did not notify me of this and they did nothing to stop it. Then when we were sued it went to NLLG. The settlement they came up with along with FDR fees left us paying more than the current balance of the account. Is this real savings like were told we would get? FDR did not earn their fees on this one or the last Discover settlement as far as I am concerned.
Original: Although I approved it, I am not real happy with my last settlement with Discover/Gurstel Law. It was for 80% and with fees didn't save me anything. I have informed FDR of a couple wanting to settle for half with me directly but FDR has done nothing with those. Hopefully they will eventually settle for less than half so fees can be covered.

I’ve been in the consolidation program around 5, 6 months and they have already made a deal on two accounts for around half of the balance on each one. Excellent work on behalf of Freedom. If they continue like this, I’ll be debt-free before long.

My work went south and I still made too much to file a bankruptcy. I didn’t wanna mess my creditors up either that much. I wanna still try and pay them what I could. So I signed up with Freedom Debt Relief and the application process was easy as it could be. They dropped the ball one time. I’m a little disappointed in them on that, but anybody can do that. But so far, they’ve answered every question. They’ve all been just fine, and friendly as they could be. The payment plan was less than what I was paying monthly payments on the credit cards, so I'm happy with that. I can still afford to pay off my debts.

We wanted to consolidate everything. We found out that Freedom Debt Relief could settle for less. My husband is a disabled veteran and I'm disabled myself, so we figured that would help. We applied to see if we could get a loan and payoff everything and then pay monthly. They said we didn’t qualify for the one lump sum payment so we just did the settlement. But once we got things paid down, Consolidated Plus sent us an email saying we were qualified, which was very interesting. It was a lot lower amount, but what they're doing now is settling everything. We have two left to do and when it’s done, we start paying them monthly.
I’ve been going on the dashboard, keeping track of everything. I go online and check on things. If I have questions, I can call and they answer my questions. They’re not afraid to do that and I like that part of it because there are some things that I didn’t quite understand like with Consolidated Plus, which is what we got recently to pay off everything quicker, and I didn’t understand why we couldn’t have gotten it in the beginning because our credit score was a lot higher.
The bad part about it was the fact that because of the settlements, our credit score dropped tremendously. So, now, we have to build up again and get it back. But the guy in the beginning said upfront that our score would drop. It’s all part of the negotiating. But other than that, they’ve been very helpful. I would recommend them to someone if they wanted to do it. They followed up really well and I appreciated the fact that no matter what questions we had, someone would answer them and go through things with us on the dashboard and let us know what was going on and how it was about. We were supposed to have finished later, but now we’re finishing earlier because we did get the loan there, and that kinda helped a little bit to get things done faster. We had automatic payment. Every month we were adding money to the account, so they build up. It is working out a lot better than what we thought.

The reps at Freedom Debt Relief are always responsive and very pleasant. The guy that I dealt with today was wonderful. He was quick, polite, and he told me all what I could do or not do. And that’s really all I need - have somebody who got the idea of the problem and then someone to give you alternatives. There were some occasions when I was getting in a bind and had to make a change at one time, but they’ve always been responsive.

After I was out of work for a while due to medical issues, bills piled up and I had no way to pay them. I researched and eventually read that Freedom Debt Relief had the highest ratings. I spoke several times with one of the representatives who answered all my questions, and when I was satisfied that it was legitimate and on the up-and-up, then I decided to go with them.
I'm impressed by their rep's patience and knowledge. There was no pressure whatsoever. He just continued to call me. I had him call me like for a couple of months until I was really sure, and he answered my question every single time. When I signed up, I really had very, very little money, and no income coming in. They waived one of the fees for me to get me started, and then adjusted my monthly payment low enough so that I could actually enroll in the program. With Freedom Debt Relief I don’t get the phone calls anymore. They’ve settled on most of my bills. There’s maybe one left and that’s it. I found out after the fact that my best friend had enrolled about a month before I decided to. And she’s very happy as well.

Dashboard a little confusing. Hard to know what to click on to see what is the status of who will be the next creditor to negotiate with. So I had to call to speak to a representative for clarification. But everyone was extremely courteous and knowledgeable and patient.

I am a little disappointed in my debt relief. Thought I would be done with all my cc ones and more than half still left. Seems they're more worried about loan one and getting it resolved first. Since they are making payments on my cc ones they could have settle all of them by now with what is in my account. Need a new car and can't get a loan since these are being held...

Signed up for the extra legal representation. When came time to use, it was totally useless. They claimed I did not respond in time despite 3 mails to the contrary. Settled that account on my own with a better settlement than they told me to expect. The rest of FDR services have been very good.

I was looking up debt relief places possibilities and after I read some of Freedom Debt Relief comments from customers, I tried them out. I talked to a gentleman when I started, and he said it usually takes about a year after your graduation to see the effects of the program. I told him what kind of situation I had, and he explained how they do it. It was a real simple program, and he explained how the program works. I talked to customer service twice during the process. They were real helpful in explaining the minor questions I had and got it all resolved. The only reason I got out of the program so quickly was because I sold my house, and I had a profit there, so I put that money towards what I had to pay off.
The program helped my credit real quick. I had four different cards combined into this program, and the payment plan that I had was way cheaper than what I was paying with credit cards. Before, I had about $32,000 of debt. And if I paid on what the credit cards were, it was like over $1,000 a month in payments. But Freedom made it into $486 a month, and that was it.

I used Freedom Debt Relief's service before but I had to cancel because money was tight and I couldn’t make the payments. Now that I’m more stable, I started doing the program again. I like that they work with you and they are very flexible with the payment plan. They also resolve everything and they let me know what's going on. I signed up with Freedom and gave them my email, and we were contacted back through email. They were very nice. They walked me through the whole process and helped me get everything set up. It’s almost three years later and I'm almost out of debt. They were pretty thorough, very professional and friendly. My experience with Freedom Debt Relief is going along very good. I looked at a few different things and I answered the phone, and the people from Freedom were more helpful people. I understand that I was gonna pay fees, but the explanation and the help getting set up and getting the program going, it was all done over the phone very sufficiently by Jennifer. She was really nice and very helpful. I just had one little glitch with it. It's a program. Even with all the programs out there, if you have some bigger loans, that could cause problems in negotiations. It's made for $2,000, $3,000, $4,000 credit card limits. You don't wanna go $10,000, $12,000 entered in there because what happens is you get five settlements on five credit cards, and the next thing you know, you get this settlement, and you can only afford to put the amount in there.
That's where I felt I got pushed a little bit. I had one of them had to leave the program, go into collections, and go in the lawyer's office, and I'm getting summons for that. You gotta be careful. You can add one in there, don't add multiple big ones. But besides that, I'm already halfway through the program. I've got five paid off, and I pay my monthly deposit and they take care of everything. It's impacted my credit score 88 points. It went up 88 points. Every time we get one showing it was paid off, it takes 60 days, but at least every three to six months it's updating. Hopefully, I'm getting a disbursement from my 401k here next month or within the next 30 days, and I'm gonna put the payoff amount in there and I'm gonna pay them all off, and then I'm not gonna owe anybody nothing. Overall, every time I call Freedom, they do answer my question and help me out, and they're very professional and proficient.

Both representatives worked to lower the amount of two out of three enrolled debt in my account but unfortunately the other enrolled debt, they weren’t able to bring the amount down due to it’s with a credit union. But they explained to me about negotiating with credit union’s that It’s difficult to negotiate with them.

I had three creditors, and Freedom explained to me that they would reach out to the creditors and try to negotiate a lower price. I didn't get to talk to them a lot. But if they wanted something from me, I gave it to them. Otherwise, they set up the payment plan and they just took the money out twice a month. They've only settled with one, so two are sitting there. I get bills from them so nothing is going on with those. They just take out $135 on the 10th and on the 25th.
I received a letter from Freedom on the one creditor and that was it. I don't hear anything. They don't tell me if they are reaching out to the other ones or are there gonna be any results. I'm just stuck. My credit has gone bad and that worries me. I'm kinda confused which creditor it is that they've negotiated with. And then, it takes so long. They said it would take 48 months but with the way it's going, that's gonna be longer than 48 months. I'm not very satisfied right now because I don't really know what's going on.

Freedom Debt Relief's service is pretty good. They were the first company I came across. Most of the time, the representatives address my questions and concerns very well. I've only had like one bad experience. My payment plan is good. I get a statement thing in the mail off my dashboard every month. I was running in default, so I'm sure it'll get better sooner. My credit score will eventually go back up. But right now, I'm just trying to make the payments and get them settled.

I turned over 11 accounts to Freedom Debt Relief and they are already working on eight of them. I'm very pleased. Everything is still going great, and I've been very satisfied with them. A couple of times I had letters from all these cards that I did not understand. I called Freedom and they were immediately onto the case. Whatever I needed, they answered immediately. There were no qualms. They helped me through it all. I've had excellent service through them and I wouldn’t swap it for anything. The payment plan couldn’t be better. I would recommend Freedom Debt Relief to anyone that’s in the situation I was in. My husband has a lot of medicine and one of his prescriptions is $598 a month even with our insurance. We were sinking further in debt with it and I saw no end. Freedom Debt Relief was the answer to a prayer for us.

Everything was done very professionally. He explained the process. We did a step by step through the signing up and what debts would be included. We also talked about start date and end dates. Everything’s been okay with Freedom Debt Relief. We finally got the dashboard to work. We've been in the program for two years. A few of the credit cards had been paid completely, and then other ones are being paid. But there is this particular one where they’ve been getting money, but they couldn’t get in touch with Freedom Debt. They tried for like six times, but they said they couldn’t get in touch with them. I had to go to court for one of the accounts, but that’s gonna be resolved. They accepted everything. It’s just that they had not given this particular account to the National Legal Service and so they couldn’t do anything. They couldn’t represent us for anything.
It’s just that once I got the letter from them to go to court, I didn’t know if I had to show up or not show up, and they couldn’t tell me. Then, finally, they said, “Go to the clerk’s office and show them the letter and ask them.” But this took me three calls to find that information to where to go, but I did go and that’s when I was told, “Yes, you have to appear.”

If you’re over 70 forget lt. You’ll never get done. Better just walk away. Especially credit cards there's nothing they can do. Wait 90 days and offer them 1/3 or just forget it. You go this way. Your never get out from under. They settle for too much fees too high and your pay off just keeps going up. Keep your money and tell them you’re so sorry but you just can’t pay. Credit score forget it. Who cares at 70 anyway. I am sorry every month when I have to make that payment. Wouldn’t do it again. Al

I received a summons to court for one of my accounts. I called Freedom Debt Relief and was given all the instructions I needed to contact the NLLG to have them handle the summons. It was quick and easy. Also when I received a settlement letter in the mail for another account I called Freedom, explained what I received - it was a better offer than they had been given. The money was quickly transferred back to my bank account and I was able to save about $250 between the offer and settling the account myself. I have no complaints about the treatment I have received from the folks at Freedom Debt Relief.

If I knew then what I know now I never would have contracted with Freedom Debt Relief. I could have had my credit card accounts closed and made payments to them as easily as to FDR. My credit score dropped, interest rates increased, costing my wife and I more money. Contacts with FDR are referred to my Dashboard that doesn't completely answer my questions. The original agent I spoke with to sign up with FDR has not returned any of my emails. Maybe she doesn't work there anymore? Freedom Plus recently offered to settle my debts by paying off my FDR creditors with a loan but communication from them has died. The agent will not respond to my emails and I HATE phone calls because I have no record of what was said. That's the bad news. The good news is FDR has negotiated one credit card reduction and sent a 30-month payment plan that FDR will make to my creditor.

Updated on 04/29/2022: There were only a couple of problems with my creditors and both of those were with the same institution. Other than that this was a smooth sailing process that got me out of a lot of trouble. It enabled me to greatly enhance my life and my retirement by spending about 5 years putting my debt in an acceptable level for me to be able to maintain.

Update on 01/14/2020: When I started with Freedom Debt Relief I was in desperate straits. My credit card interest rates had gone through the roof! Realizing I needed help I was referred to FDR. Now less than a year later only one more account left to get a settlement and that one is in negotiation! We only have been in Debt Relief for maybe 3 weeks; We have been living in hell since because we cannot close out our old bank account until all deposits that are automatically put in that account have been transferred to our new bank checking account. So we don't have much money, we are falling behind on our bills and it is truly nerve wracking! I had $19,000 in debt with my credit cards and I was getting by, but it was taking everything I had. I contacted Freedom Debt Relief and I was not happy with them at all. I could’ve scraped by, but I talked to different people there and they painted a pretty picture. I had to make monthly payments to them, which was about half of what my credit card bills were and I was doing that for 13 months, then I got a phone call from Consolidation Plus. They work with Freedom Debt Relief and they give loans to people to speed up the process. I agreed to take a loan with them. They put the money up for Freedom to negotiate my debts and then they went ahead and paid it off. Unfortunately, I lost my son in a motorcycle accident in July, so I received life insurance money and I was able to pay off Consolidation Plus. I didn’t have to make them a payment and the whole deal only cost me $20 over the loan amount.
The credit companies all settled for whatever and I’m all free and clear of everybody now, but the money I paid Freedom Debt Relief as well as the loan company was 18,000 and some dollars. Their fees were ridiculous. I understand Freedom has to make money and they were doing this for me, but when it was all said and done, they hardly saved me any money whatsoever with the life of this program. All this did for me was it bought me 13 months and my credit was ruined in the process. I could’ve negotiated with the credit card companies myself and done a better job. I wouldn’t have had to pay all these crazy fees. If anybody asks me, I will never recommend Freedom.

Updated on 08/20/2020: The gentleman I spoke to was very thorough and explained to me how the program works. I felt good about it. I've had two debts settled already, two more in progress, and I have four more to go after that. With what I've seen so far, it's working. My credit score has even went up a little. If I knew of a friend who was in the same financial situation as me, I would definitely recommend FDR to them. This program is for people who are ready to get out of debt, but do not want to file bankruptcy and do not feel they are as capable making those strategies that FDR will be able to do for them.

I have only started around a month ago, maybe 2, and already they help with my most aggressive creditor and came up with a settlement. I highly recommend FDR. I still have a long ways to go but I don't doubt for a second they won't get the rest of my creditors taken care of also. And they also don't hound you. I called concerning why my last creditor settlement is taking so long since I really want to retire from my job. She was very helpful and encouraging that this was on a 5-day credit hold and would be resolved soon and I would be notified to approve. However, when I called previously a couple months ago regarding the same question the person I spoke to was not helpful, not encouraging and made me feel discouraged.

I would lay awake in bed at night wondering how I was going to make these payments. You see I was diagnosed in January with stage 3 colon cancer and I didn't know what tomorrow would bring me. I have been pleased with everything except that I can't get any legal help with one that is attempting to take me to court. This was the one that made me realize I needed help, but because it happened "before" (I reached out that very day) I can't even get the NLLG to give me legal advice on what to do... So even with the great work Freedom Debt Relief has done for the rest of my debts, I am still living in fear because I can't get any help that doesn't cost as much as the debt itself...

I went with Freedom Debt Relief for a consolidation of my credit cards. The rep whom I worked with was excellent and she walked me through the process. We were on the phone for three hours and she wouldn't let me hang up until I understood what was going on, how it was gonna be done and what they would do. My main concern at the time was being taken advantage of and that what I was going through wasn't fraudulent. Even though I was paying my credit cards, I was only paying minimum payments. I couldn't afford for that to be taken and my cards going into debt when Freed wasn't doing anything. The rep reassured me. The payment plan I got afterward was great. I’m still at the beginning stages but I have already paid off two credit cards. I'm also in contract with paying off two more with monthly payments until whatever the settlement amount was is paid for.

The people at Freedom Debt Relief have been very helpful. I’ve been involved in the program for four months, and I’m very pleased with it at this point. They’ve eradicated the problem. There are several more to go, and they’re doing exactly what they said they would. I worked with April and she was excellent. She was very professional and took care of her business and was engaged. We got it going, and she was always friendly. I dragged my feet just because I had some issues here, but I got through it, easy peasy. I would definitely recommend Freedom Debt Relief. I had quite a few consumer cards and I got caught behind. At the time, I was so eager to get the credit, but I had the credit and I overdid it. The next thing I know, I got myself caught up. I figured I can handle certain things and I was doing very well, but that was what happened. I checked out quite a few places, but Freedom Debt Relief seemed to be more reliable. And once I talked to them, everything seemed to fall right so I thought I’d go ahead and try it. The consultant who assisted me was nice and knowledgeable. Everyday conversation was more or less down to earth.
After Freedom got something dropped off of your status, they would send something that would show that they’re doing something. What I realized is that if you don’t fall behind and you do what you’re supposed to do, they'd give you a lower set up. They'd say, “Instead of us robbing you, we would like to put you with a company that can help you.” And that’s what they did. I’m just looking at the company, seeing it in my cell phone, waiting to see what’s gonna happen. I've been into Freedom's program for close to a year. And I went with Consolidation Plus, their sister company because they can pay off the debt faster. Hopefully, in six months, I'll start seeing my credit score rise up a bit or when they do a check on me, I won’t look that bad and be able to rent a car or buy a car. So far, everything has been going good and I like the service.

I’m a disabled veteran and I go into my veterans’ site to check things out and they had an announcement about Freedom Debt Relief. I’ve had different consultants. The last one I had didn't knew what she was talking about. I think Freedom just throw them in there and tell them to say this and that. They should get more professional and really sit down and discuss what they are doing. As you’re paying, they need to call you and tell you, “Okay, we just finished with this, Bank of America. We just settled with them. This is how much money we’re going to give them and this is how much money we’re gonna take in as a fee,” as they go. Not at the very end.
I’ve been cheated by Freedom Debt Relief. I owe a tremendous amount of money to the loan company, which is consolidated loan, and they said I owe them $49,000. I asked them what happened to all the $1,440 I gave for about eight months. And they said those were the charges that they did for the services and for reducing the debt. I said that was an awful lot of money. So, I gotta look at all the numbers because it sure seems like I paid a lot of money and it went no place but into their pockets. My wife told me I could’ve paid my loans off and not have terrible credit. My credit is now atrocious, and I used to have it up around 800 and now, it’s down to about 500 and something.

I was in a dilemma wherein my mom got sick and I had to come out of my apartment, break my lease. If I took another job, I just didn't want any wages to be garnished and I could go to work one day thinking I got a check but then I wouldn't have one and I still have bills to pay. Freedom's reps reached out to me and explained their process and the options I had. Working with them has helped me cushion that situation a little bit.
Freedom is currently handling my accounts really well. Every now and then I get an update on the situation and what's been settled. If they need a debt to be settled they let me know and advise me whether they think it's a good decision. Additionally, the payment plan they gave me has been something that I can handle. I can add more to it when there was something that I could deal with out of my pocket and that has worked with me and my family.

Updated on 10/25/2022: My experience with Freedom Debt Relief was a relief and freedom from the vicious cycle of trying on my own to pay off high interest credit cards. It was a relief for me personally from trying to pay different credit card companies each month compared to making one monthly payment. Also, I received the benefit of having my debt reduced in half by agents who are experience negotiators. What more can be said about this company that gives you complete freedom and relief from debt that I otherwise would still be paying on.

I wish I didn’t need to do this and if I had the time to resolve the debt myself I would. The percentage they charge for resolving the debt for you is robbery! They are not here to help you, they are here to make money. Know that!! When I started they wouldn’t give me a consolidation loan, then 4 months offered me a loan to Soren up the process, don’t do it! You then owe a percentage to the loan and they still charge a retarded amount to settle debt, you won’t win. And they are monthly fees for the account. Nothing is free. Just saying. I’m trying to find a better company.

I'm so relief I found this company, Desiree has been really helpful with the process of getting me debt free. She was understanding of my situation and never judge about my bad decisions in the past. I was in a situation where I was getting nowhere. Freedom Debt Relief provided a relatively painless way to eliminate debt. I had some unique situations that caused many problems, and just as many times, someone at FDR dropped the ball. It would take weeks to find out that they didn't follow through, and I had to work an issue all over again. This is what prevents me from giving them a higher rating - if an associate ran into a problem, he/she just dropped it. This probably added a year to my settlements. There was also an issue of emails not being returned, or an irrelevant form email was sent. The best approach is to keep telephoning, and don't expect a follow-through without repeated calls.

It was a long 6 months but was worth the wait. First settlement saved us 50%. Looking forward to see the next one. Customer service could be a little better as they seemed confused when I would reach out to them. Uploading documents into the dashboard seems useless as no one gets them.

Freedom Debt Relief was the first one we found online. We called and talked to them, and they were really nice and willing to help us. They assisted us in consolidating our bills into one payment and we have been paying a lower rate than all of our individual bills. Working with our consultant was really good, too. She was helpful and she explained everything to us in simple and easy to understand terms. We love them, we haven’t had any major issues, and they're doing great so far. We started in January 2017 and at this point, we have paid off four of our bills. So, we finished half of them in two years. All in all, Freedom Debt Relief is trustworthy and it’s easy to follow their program. They make the monthly payment you have to pay affordable and when you call them, they answer your questions. I also feel like they know what they're talking about and they don't give you the runaround.

I'm enjoying being with Freedom Debt Relief. I was stressed out for a long time 'cause my husband stresses me out over bills. He's a construction worker and he's been working in construction for 30 years. He gets on an employment automatically then he goes off from work at end of the week. What he makes and what I was gonna make stress him out. My daughter helped me out in signing up with Freedom and now, I don't want to even look at a credit card anymore. I went with counseling instead of filing bankruptcy, and once I faxed Freedom Debt Relief everything and then got approved, it took more than one day but it wasn’t a long process. The rep was excellent. She said to call her any time if I had any issues. I didn't like my payment being increased a little bit, but other than that, it was fine. My wife went through a different company, which I’m glad I didn't ‘cause my process seems better than where she went through.

I’m glad Freedom Debt Relief is perfectly handling my situation. I only have two more bills to close out and my credit score went way up now, higher than what I had before. I liked how Freedom's programs seemed better for the need I had. I went with them and they consolidated everything I owed. The rep whom I worked with was friendly and gave me a monthly payment that worked well. She was very knowledgeable in trying to get everything to work the way I needed it to. I've been very comfortable working with Freedom's process. Anytime I call, their reps answer my questions and they would either email me information or take care of whatever my concern is.

I usually do not write reviews but after this experience it was a must. I enrolled in this program about 1 year ago, they settled my accounts pretty well in the beginning but the settlement fees were ridiculously high. If my account was settled for 2k, Freedom Debt Relief would charge 1,000 for the settlement fee. In other words you are still almost paying what you initially owned on the debt. Later I was offered a Consolidation Plus loan, that is when my settlements were settled for the exact same amount as my loan, which you have to repay. In total, this program saved me 4K, which is nothing. If you go ahead and do it on your own, you would probably save even more doing it on your own. Do not go with these companies they are dishonest, all they care about is the money they get from people who are truly suffering financially and they do not care.

As my accounts are resolving more quickly since doing the consolidation plus loan, I'm starting to think FDR is acting on behalf of their bottom line and not mine. As someone who is resolved at settling my past debt and getting my credit score back up after being laid off from work for over 6 months and finally obtaining a job where I am slowly starting to feel above water again, I'm beginning to believe that I may have made a huge mistake by joining FDR. NLLG and FDR like to point the blame when really they are in partnership and any failure looks bad on both of them as a whole.
I recently was informed that I have an account that was settled at an amount higher than the creditor offered in a letter that I provided to both FDR and NLLG. This leads me to believe that either NLLG is not thorough in reviewing the documentation I send in or they are settling at amounts to increase their and FDR profits. Either way, it's not something that makes me confident in the program. Now I would like to review settlement agreements with confirmation from my creditors that the money settled is the money that they receive.
In addition, I'm constantly getting the runaround, FDR can't make any updates to my account due to the loan, Consolidation Plus pushes everything back to FDR and vice versa. It's highly frustrating. If I am assigned a specialist, I should be able to take any matters to him and he follows up with the appropriate parties to ensure resolution because this constant run around has not been the greatest experience either. I'm hoping FDR can provide some resolution that restores my confidence in this process because at this point in time, it is all lost.

I am very happy with how FDR handled my Debt negotiation down to 30% of what I owed. I will continue with my Debt relief from FDR. I would also recommend FDR to any of my friends and acquaintances who may be a little overwhelmed by their Debt.

The FDR program is a good program and I would recommend for anyone needing to recover from debt. It got me out of debt and I do not regret enrolling in the program. The program works as FDR works with you individually to resolve your accumulated debt and relieve your stress from your indebtedness and pay of your debt for a fraction of your balance. I searched for the best program and FDR was the best by far!
