I like the way Freedom Debt Relief reps carry themselves, how they talk, and explained everything to me. They were very good people to work with and they kept their promise. They always explain stuff, they always call me ahead of time to let me know about things and what has been going on. Freedom Debt Relief's service and the people were excellent. I never had a problem with things going on that I didn’t know. They always kept me informed and I could call them any time to ask questions, and they would always answer. They were very polite and courteous with me. I just started into their program in January. Soon, it would be close to a year. And so far, they have done an excellent work. The payment that I was set up with was very reasonable. I enjoy working with them and I appreciate what they have taught me this year. I would recommend them highly.

Being just signed up for this program there is not much experience yet. The two reps that I have talked with have been very kind and helpful. I am a little discouraged about the fees. I believed there were not to be any charges till negotiations had begun. That information I am sure I was informed of, but I don't think there was enough emphasis on it as to stick in my mind. Guess the old adage is true. Can't get anything for nothing.

Updated on 04/10/2020: Freedom allowed me to see all of my debt and work off a budget that I was currently on. I was in financial poverty when I first looked into recovering my credit. The enrollment process was easy. It took about a week and it was not due to Freedom but it was mostly my schedule that was causing difficulties. We had most of it set up in about an hour then we had a 20-minute phone conversation just to make sure that I understood what I was signing up for. The person who handles my case sent me regular emails and everything got done pretty quickly.
They quoted me the price and they got me set up with the monthly plan a lot faster than other companies did. Now, I’m making biweekly payments that work for me and my payment schedule. It worked better than trying to do bulk credit card payments at a time. I’m focusing on credit card debts first and maybe getting put on a different plan for things like medical expenses.
Their reps very knowledgeable and I appreciate their professionalism. Most customer service or companies don’t really take into consideration things that might be affecting your financial situation. But that wasn’t the case with Freedom. I’m just very pleased with the service so far and I have recommended them to a few people. Everything is going great. Freedom is flexible and they allow me to make changes to my plan when I need to do so. Everything is affordable and it is really helping me rehabilitate my credit.

Almost instant financial management, legal support, and a payment plan that didn't put me further in debt! This is a good program and has helped my family greatly. I just wish they would target the debt that is threatening to write off the debt and possibly sell it to a lawyer before they handle other debts. I feel like these should take priority seeing as they could result in a summons and possibly having to settle at 100% which leaves FDR without getting a settlement fee.

I was getting high credit card bills and I wanted it to get down. Freedom Debt Relief was the one I first came across and the reviews I read all seemed to be good. With the consultant I worked with, if I’ve had any questions, he always got right back to me. He asked me about what my debt level was, and how we could work through to make payments on it and get a schedule planned. He was very helpful. We have the payment plan down to one bill per month, and if I come across a time that I can’t make that payment during that time, I’ve had to change it and they would change it for me to a different time that will work more conveniently. So, that was helpful. Their customer service is very good, too. I have two years left to go, and I’ve gotten some things paid down. So it gives me a little bit less stress when I know it is getting worked on.

I have credit card debt. I heard about Freedom Debt Relief on Christian Radio and thought I'd give them a call, and so I did. They said they would take care of my debt and for me not to answer any calls from creditors. I haven't and they decreased my debt by $15,000. They're always different. Everybody's helpful. They're very kind and knowledgeable and they worked with me, like some months when I couldn't pay the premium, they said they would freeze it and then to let them know when we could start again. It's been very efficient for me and productive. I tell many people about the service.
They started with a payment plan that I could afford, and then we've gone out from there. As I've made more money, I can pay more so the debt goes down faster. I had $50,000 of debt, and it’s being taken care of. There’s less stress. I'm not hounded by creditors, and my credit score is going up, so that's a good thing. In two years time, I'm going to be debt-free.

They got $1,680 from the $3,640 they took out from me and they got their money before my debtors got theirs. I think that's totally wrong. They took half of my money, put it in their pocket, and then my three creditors that they did settlement with got the other half. I had a total of 18 accounts. On one account, I got a silver warrant served on me on the 19th of October because Freedom Debt Relief didn't do their job to keep that from happening. I went and got a real lawyer, and I'm retaining her from bankruptcy because I cannot afford to get my check. I talked to Freedom Debt Relief again to find out if they were closing up that account. They said they closed it up the sixth of this month. What I'm unhappy about is they did not let me know that they were not a non-profit company when we went with them. They need to tell a new client coming up they’re a profit company. If I had been told that, I wouldn't have went with them.

Hello, they have been good about moving things along, however, there is one account still in advance negotiation they sent me a settlement request on in July and I still have not heard back from National Litigation. I call and email the girl frequently. Cant someone let me know what is going on with this account? When I call Freedom, they say to call National Litigation, well, no one ever responds. It's very frustrating.

I think this is a very good program. It’s helping me to pay off debt so I can move forward with my life. One account has been totally paid off and there are others that payment are being made through the program to pay them off. I would much rather that the debt was paid off as a whole instead of the payments for a faster process but I’m being patient as long as I know progress is being made. All in all it’s a good program.

Freedom Debt Relief has worked with me in eliminating my debt. I am so pleased with the way the pay off is going. The only thing that I could suggest is maybe less monthly payments to the creditor and larger payments so that the debt gets paid off sooner.

I was surprised on how profession this company is. I originally signed up with another debt relief company who did absolutely nothing for me, other than take my money. I was in a situation years ago and I used a similar type of company, but I didn’t have good customer service with them. I then switch over to Freedom Debt Relief. The process of getting signed up was good. It was quick, easy and simple. And they keep me informed about everything that is going on. Every time I get a settlement, a debt dissolved or they come into negotiation, they’ll call, email or text me. They let me know how much is settled and how many payments I have to do. Everybody is helpful. Every time I call and ask a question, they will answer it for me. It will not be a problem. All I have is one more credit card that they need to negotiate with, then after that, in about two years, I should be debt-free with the credit cards. I also love the payment plan. It’s in my means and budget.

I asked other people on what they thought about FDR and I also talked to their rep. He explained everything very well and he was a very nice man. I told him how much I owed my debtors and I didn't feel like I was judged. A lot of times, you don't like talking about how many people you owe, why you owe them or how you got to that situation. Mine was to help the family, that got me in this situation, and I wasn't intimidated by him. Aside from that, the process didn't seem as complicated as I thought it was and I was at a point of no return at that time, so I just did it.
The rep that I spoke to set everything up and talked to me with the password situation, the account, and the MO. Then he sent my application to underwriting and said he would call me back. After, he called me back and said that it was a go if I chose to do it and asked if I could do this or that amount. I chose the amount that I could do and everything worked out. My life has been a lot a better because of Freedom Debt Relief and now my bills are at a minimum. There were also a few people that called who wanted me to change over, that they would buy out my account or that they would do this and that, but I like staying with FDR.

They have been very compassionate and helpful, and are always respectful in how they answer questions. It never feels like it’s a bother. I’m about halfway through and I’m very happy with what we’re doing. It has taken a weight off of my shoulders. I feel like I don’t even have to think about it. Somebody’s taking care of it. I don’t have to manage any difficult phone calls or emails. They take care of all of that stuff, so I’m able to live my life and get the debt paid. It’s working out really well.

I was cruising around and saw an ad in Facebook for Freedom Debt Relief. I gave them a call and when I signed up, I gave them all my information. They made all the contacts for me and got all the information they needed for the credits. They called me and made it smooth for me. Plus, the payment plan was great. I’m working on becoming debt-free and I’m halfway there.

I am pleased with results to date. One account that I could not change the contact info to FDR resulted in a dunning letter from the account's attorney. Gave the attorney's firm name to FDR and within 2 weeks FDR had negotiated the settlement.

Updated on 5/29/2021: I signed up with your company to help me manage and get rid of my large debt amount. From the very beginning, the people I have come in contact with have been supportive, helpful and concerned for my well being. Any problems I have come across have been resolved to my complete satisfaction. I haven't spoken with anyone who was trying to rush me. I recently had an issue with one of my creditors and Tamara ** helped me through it with many phone calls and emails. She is a great asset to your company. She was genuinely concerned that I get the proper outcome, for the issue that we were speaking about, and we got it resolved quickly.

Updated on 11/7/2020: When I signed up with FDR for my debt issues, I figured it would be a long time before I got my credit back to normal. So far things are discouraging. We get daily calls from our creditors. We don't feel like we are kept in the loop, so to speak. We haven't had much physical communication to keep us informed about any progress that might be being made. And our credit scores continue to tank.

When you sign up with Freedom Debt Relief, you get an NLLG membership. Whatever accounts are signed up with them, you get help with free lawyers. That was one of the things that I ended up being able to take advantage of because one of the creditors that I had enrolled came after me, and FDR had taken care of that. FDR reps were good to work with. They went through what I turned in to them, calculated it and came up with a number and a date deadline of how long it would take to pay off and clear up. They said, “You have this much debt. In order to do this, you wanna pay this all off in three years as your time frame, and this would be your monthly amount.” It was totally changeable by me. I agreed with them and I was on board with what the payment came out to. I’m now at least two years in to their program and FDR has definitely taken away some of the stress.

I had a few credit cards that I was not gonna able to bring down the balance within the time that I wanted to. I looked at tons of companies and I tried to get a loan but everybody rejected me. I found that among everybody that I did research on, Freedom Debt Relief was the most helpful one and the number one that people mostly used. They were the ones that gave me the best offer on how to be debt-free sooner than what I thought. Once we started with them, we were very happy. What I like about them is they’re very thorough. When you get into their program, they tell you what’s gonna happen, what’s going on and what will be in the near future. They’re very knowledgeable and informative. They walk you through the whole process. Matt, the consultant there helped us in the beginning. Anytime that I need any help or questions, he says he'll see how much he can help me. If not, he directs me to the right person.
They’ll try to get ahold of you either by phone, text or email. They’ll tell you when they're ready to negotiate, how much they’re gonna try to negotiate or how much they’ll be pulling every month for how many months. They told me how much for the debt I had, depending on how many credit cards I put, and then that’s how much monthly they deduct from my checking account. It's like a savings account that they start putting my money in. And then they start negotiating with the different companies. It’s a debt relief account what they did with mine. As soon as it starts accumulating per month, then they start making more negotiations with other credit cards. Anytime that there’s been a settlement and I accepted, they say congratulations and I'll be debt-free from this company by a certain date, or a few months. They consolidate whatever I owe. It's a four-year thing and I’ll be out of debt within the next two and a half years.

I was looking for a consolidation loan. Freedom Debt Relief was the only one that contacted me but I didn't qualify for consolidation loan. However, they made me feel a lot better about my situation because they were able to help me at least pay my bills with the plan I could afford. So far, they've settled several of my debts in less than a year with my payment. It's amazing and a great relief. It got me off from under the burden of dealing with it all the time by myself. It's just that they were charging me more than I was able to pay them. The payment got adjusted to the point that it would take a little longer, but right now, I'm waiting to hear from their consolidation loans department.

I Googled someone for help and Freedom Debt Relief was the first one that came up, so I called them and they worked with me. The rep was very helpful with any questions I had. He explained everything to me step by step. I was very comfortable working with him. So far, they're doing what they're supposed to be doing. They said the program would take four or five years to complete and I still have three or four years to go, and I've gotten email messages to agree for a settlement. I'm satisfied with FDR. They helped me because I was drowning in debt. Before, I would go without paying a bill so that I could go to the grocery store. Now, I have money to go to the grocery or do what I need to do instead of worrying about how I'm gonna pay my bills.

Update on 01/15/2020: I am very happy with Freedom Debt Relief. I currently have two credit cards paid off and they are working on a third one and it is less than what I would have paid on my own on a monthly payment which I found very hard to do. You all are very mechanical in your approach with customers. You basically show that you can care less, as long as you get your monthly payment on time. I think I might have made the biggest mistake of my life. Their sister company offered us a loan that was unrealistic to pay all the charge cards added an extra 10000 for late fees and interest. And when I called they said I should pay more a month to end this nightmare. I should have just worked with the credit card people. My credit is ruined and I cry myself to sleep every night.

I have a lot of credit card debt and the program is gonna take a little while but we’ve been working slowly on it, and I’m pretty satisfied. I’ve had several resolved pretty decently. Right now, three other accounts are in the works of being resolved. Everything has been really spot on. FDR has been able to work with me when there were times I haven’t been able to make full deposits. They’ve always kept it going and I’m on a pretty good schedule right now. We’re getting things resolved. I’d recommend them. They seem to work with everybody really good.

Freedom Debt Relief helped me with my credit card debt. I bought this house, and stuff started going wrong. And I used credit cards to kinda take care of some things I had to do like some plumbing and electric, and it just kinda got out of control. When I couldn’t get a handle on all my credit card debt, I sought Freedom Debt Relief's services. The application process went well and moved along. Then, once they started getting payments, it moved a little quicker. The debt consultant explained everything well. The process went exactly the way he said it would be done. I have been in the program for about a year and in that amount of time I have had 2 settlements. I find this process as being very hands off and easy once you get past the collection calls and submitting all your paperwork. I am even back to the point where I am building credit again. I had lost my job where I was making a good amount of money where I could afford my bills. I had already called my credit card companies that I owed money to, to ask if I could lower my rate so I could still pay my debts, and I was told that I would have to not pay my bill for six months before they could help me. When I called back to get a better rate, they told me that they couldn’t help me at all and that I was behind, and they were gonna ruin my credit. I got a job making a quarter of what I was making, so I had to make a decision. All of Freedom Debt Relief's consumer ratings were good so I decided to seek help from them.
Their application process was good. But there was a lot of stuff you had to fill out. Initially, they sent a packet that I had to fill out, and then I had to send it back to them. My interactions with them were over the phone and online, and it worked out great for me. They’ve stayed in good contact with me. They probably could have explained a few things better, but overall, it was decent. Since then, I was able to find a better job than what I had and my credit score has gone up a bit.
With my payment plan, they basically told me, “This is what it's gonna be.” There was a couple of times where I had to miss a payment because I didn’t have money to pay that and be able to pay my mortgage or my car payment. So, they would keep telling me, “You're gonna be short fund,” and I know I'm paying the money and I know that they're gaining interest off my money. But if you make a settlement and you're short on the money in your account because you missed a payment, they just won't pay the creditor, which causes a problem. They don’t charge late fees though, but you have to make the money up by making a double payment or they'll tell you, “By the 12th, we have to have an additional 180 bucks.” So far, I just have a year and a half left from their program.

Freedom Debt Relief sounded like they could really help and so I decided to sign up with them. I talked to a girl on the phone about it. She took down all my information about all my credit companies. And then, she took my account information and got me enrolled. I get emails and phone calls every once in a while. I wish the payment plan was a little bit lower every month. But I know I have like five or six credit cards with them, so I understand that. Everything seems working out pretty well with FDR. I still get calls from credit card people or companies, and I just wanted to make sure that they know that I'm enrolled in Freedom Debt. One of them keep contacting me and says they weren’t contacted by Freedom Debt Relief that I was enrolled with them.

I was reading about Freedom Debt Relief online, and it said they were one of the top places that would help. They did their best. Their consultants answered all my questions and were very helpful. They’re very friendly, too. Altogether, it was a great experience because they helped me with my questions. And I’m doing really better. My payment plan is a reasonable amount, and I received great quality service. Working with Freedom really helped me get out of debt. It is a great way to go to get out of it. I already settled on three of them and paid it off, and I only need like three more to go.

I was trying to consolidate my bills and Freedom Debt Relief was the first one that reached out to me. The young man that I was talking with was really polite and nice. I went online and I gave Freedom Debt Relief the debts that I had and they took it from there. They're doing what they said they would do. They set me up an account, a dashboard on my computer where I can track their progress. They communicate via the computer. I got three debts that were taken care of and three are being paid now through a schedule. I have one left that still needs to be negotiated. Soon, like they did in the past, they will contact me when it has been negotiated and a settlement set up, and I have to approve yay or nay on the settlement. It's a four-year program and we're two years in. The whole system is better than bankruptcy. Even though at somewhat $400 a month I'm putting in the plan, but still, I'm taking care of these debts. And that means a lot, to get these debts settled. I want to pay my debts, but it's just, you get in a bind, you do what you have to do.

I had some credit card bills and I had lost a lot of income. My wife had passed away and we lost her social security. Also, I was mayor here in Fair Haven and I lost the election, so I lost the income from that. It was just tough to pay all those bills. Freedom Debt's reps have been very cooperative and knowledgeable. They asked me if the payment plan was something I could afford. I used the dashboard quite a bit, and if I got a letter from a debt collection or whatever, I sent Freedom Debt a picture of it. And then, I always got an email back that they’ve received the letter and will keep it in their file and use its content. I'm about a third of the way through the program and my credit score has gone back up, so I feel good about that. I leased a car and I got a very good rate.

Constant contact is a must. Making sure you have all the vital info. needed. And it makes a big difference, if you are dealing with someone who cares enough to get things straightened out, when things go wrong. The transition wasn't moving as smoothly as I would have liked it, and there were a few surprises that had to be straightened out. For now, everything seems to be progressing ok.

I wasn’t able to pay my bills on time, and I got behind on them. I called Freedom Debt Relief and talked to them. They provided me with help. I’m trying to get my bills paid up, and they’ve been excellent with me. The payment plan was very reasonable. Freedom has excellent people to work with. They work with you really well. Working with them helped me out tremendously. I don’t have the pressure and they’re doing very well in making sure everything’s done right and paid off. The service was excellent. Right now, I get emails and stuff on them. But before, the consultants were always able to talk to me about any kind of concerns I have. I spoke with Kevin. And it’s been a while since I talked to him but I was impressed that he was very easy-going and willing to help me. When I used to call him, he’d get right back with me. He was a good person.

I talked to Freedom Debt Relief's customer service and asked them a bunch of questions. And they were very reassuring. They said, “We can help you.” And that was what I was looking for, some kind of relief and help with clearing up my debt. And ever since I’ve been with them, their customer service has been awesome. Freedom Debt added up all my debt, and they said, “Okay, for this and this amount, we can do this in 48 months.” And I went, “Oh, four years. That makes more sense.” They were very forthcoming. They were very patient answering any of my questions. They were very concise and thorough. They explained everything and made sure I understood things. I called them back a number of times to clarify and confirm stuff, and they were always very helpful and comforting like “Don’t worry. We’re gonna handle everything.” And then they hooked me up with the national lawyers, and they’ve also been good.
At this point, I sent photocopies of any correspondence I got from any of my creditors to Freedom Debt. I would take a photo of them and email it to them right away. And they assured me I didn’t have to speak with anyone, so I didn’t answer the phone if I didn’t know the number, or if it was like an 800-number. I’ve been in this program for almost a year now, and I haven’t tried to do anything or get anymore credit. I had five debts, and one of them was already satisfied to the liking of the company. And there’s a couple of it in the works. But still, I’ve not felt anxious or stressed too much about it. The most difficult thing was to re-learn how to live without a credit card you could just use in an emergency.
My daughter inquired about Freedom Debt, and I used to kind of cautioned her that she was a little too young to go that route unless she was desperate. She’s not quite desperate yet, as far as being at her wit’s end about paying her bills. But I would definitely let everyone know that Freedom Debt is a great program. I would definitely refer them to the company.

Very happy when the first settlement was made. My mistake was that I did not change the contact info to FDR from the beginning, (getting lots of phone calls from creditors daily), then the creditors deactivated my accounts and I could not make the change. Big mistake on my part, but FDR is doing everything that they promised. I am very pleased with FDR! Hope to graduate early also!

Final Payoff of last of 4 creditors turned over to company. Took 6 months but finally got FDR to resolve final account. Took many calls to resolve but this person actually wanted to help and was able to tell me account was resolved. Just wish others would have contacted me when resolved as I started asking for account to be resolved back in April 2019 and I wanted resolved by end of June when I asked what amount was need to fully resolve and was given an estimate which turned out to be between 2-3000 low however no one ever contacted me for the additional money to settle the account once a settlement was agreed to in August..
Other than the resolution of this last account I loved working with FDR and appreciate their efforts, just final resolution did not seem to be a priority for FDR nor my resolution deadlines met. I had closed out an IRA to accomplish resolution and agreed to submit any shortfall needed but again no one contacted me for said shortfall to be sent and after no withdrawals from my account in June/July/August/September FDR started taking money without notification in October. Very unprofessional in my estimation.

The person that I talked to from Freedom Debt Relief was very convincing. After trying a couple of debt relief programs that failed and put me more in debt, I was trying to find a way to get out of it and Freedom seemed to have a pretty good one. I have a site that I go on and if anything comes up, they contact me through email and tell me that they need me to contact them immediately. Then they tell me who the contact person is and we just go from there. I've been with them since 2018 and they are flexible on the payment plan. So far, I’ve had three settlements and if I get four, I probably have to go for another year with them. But if I hit the lottery, I can get out of it in no time. Don’t be afraid to try them.

When I notified Freedom that I had received papers from an attorney, and I forwarded them, I was told that that debt would be a priority, yet Lane was the first company. That is confusing. I came home from work yesterday to a note on the door from what is probably a process server. If I am working with this company, how can they ignore that? My other disappointment is the amount of the fee. I'm starting to feel like I made a bad decision. We'll see how it goes.

Freedom Debt Relief offered the program to where we could enroll everything together, and the monthly payments are wonderful. It was something we can keep up with. And the quickness of how the customer support team interacts with us and the debt collectors themselves made us go with Freedom. It's not a long-drawn-out process. It's really nice to see a company that cares about the person, not just the money. It's nice that they interact with the collectors, and we have once account left. My wife had previously used Freedom Debt Relief. They did her well, so I figured I would go with them as well. They're handling my debtors in such a way where they can be satisfied and then without taking a large sum of money from me that I couldn't handle. Their customer service is good. When you call, they're all familiar with you once you give them the information in your case. They have been recommended by us.

So far, we are very pleased with our Freedom Debt Relief experience. We found them online and they had a pretty good rating, which was why we went with them. The rep explained everything and did a really great job. They've had good communication with us and the payment plan has been reasonable. We’ve been with them for almost five months now, but have only gotten one deal. It’s not Freedom’s fault though, it’s dealing with the credit cards. However, we’re ready to have it all done, to be making our payments and to not have to worry about any of it. All in all, the service they provide is awesome.

I was upset over one of legal advisors I had, but we managed to settle it. Other than it's moving a little slow, I understand it takes time. I had to pay quite a bit of money in faxes....I wish there was a different way to handle that.

When I retired 3 years ago, I didn't realize how much debt I had acquired until I was unable to make my minimum payments. However, thanks to Freedom Debt Relief, they worked with my creditors to lessen the amounts I owed & provided me a monthly payment I could afford. I'll be totally debt free by 2021!!! My credit score did take a big hit but now, it's almost fully recovered. I would recommend this company to anyone who finds themselves in financial trouble to seek help from FDR!!! Thanks again!!

I must say that when I first started with Freedom Debt Relief I was very overwhelmed because of all the debt I had gotten myself into but after talking with them and and being reassured by this company that they could stop my creditors from coming after me which Freedom Debt did do that for me and I am very grateful for that and I appreciate this company very much. The only thing that I can honestly say about this company that maybe negative is all the money they receive which is a fee that they charge after settling each debt but with that being said that is ok because I can not tell you how much freedom Debt has helped me out tremendously settling my debt with my creditors and I would recommend them to any who like me found themselves swimming in debt without a lifeline until I found this company. I don't believe Freedom was upfront with me when I started my program. They never told me about their fees being at 23%. If I was told that upfront, I might have gone to another Company. My first payment was March 2017 and that payment was not posted as a payment. I lost $389. Janet ** was my contact at first and she said she would be with me at all times. She has not. I've been told 3 different times when my debt would be paid off and I still don't when that will be. So far, just satisfied. Thank-You. James **

After putting my trust into Freedom Debt Relief to help me resolve my debt problem, they let me down heavily when I was served by one of the credit card companies I owe money to. I was told when I signed up that freedom debt relief would work to resolve all my debts but obviously dropped the ball with this one without any good explanation. I would not recommend this service. Resolve your debt issues by yourself if you dont want legal issues.

Adjusting payment date and monthly amount. The initial representative that I spoke with was not an understanding person. She was unable to relate to my circumstances. When I requested to opt out of the program, she transferred me to another representative who was really understanding. She worked with situations and I am grateful for it. Thank you. I am guessing that the person that initially spoke with needs more training and definitely a dose of compassion to deal with clients who are trying to resolve their debts. I’m hoping that she gets the proper training before anyone else speak with her and opt out of the program for good. I don’t believe that would be good for business.

Should have went after the high interest rates first... Not helping me get my loans paid off at all because there is no money left to pay extra on to get them paid off. Not gaining anything on my total debt. If I can't pay some of the loans off there will be no money to get them out and paid off.

I heard testimonies about Freedom Debt Relief on the TV, and I thought, “Okay, this is gonna be something for me because I was in dire straits big time.” And the gentleman that I spoke with, Patrick, spent time with me and went over everything, and it was a wonderful experience. It's very easy to get in touch with Patrick. I’ve had to call and speak with somebody maybe twice, and it was very quick and easy. The consultants at Freedom Debt Relief are great people. They’re always very helpful. This is my second time calling them because everything has always been done online and I understand everything that’s going on. I go into our dashboard a lot and make sure everything’s going okay. And then we were gonna switch over to the other sister company that gives you a loan. The guy that I spoke to was super nice and I never finished giving him the information because it’s so busy, and to get all that stuff around took me too long and I missed the deadline. So, that was my fault. But otherwise, everything’s good and everybody’s been very nice and helpful. I've never had to call in before since everything else has been taken care of. Like I'm worried about this bill this month, but then I look over it and then it’s already been negotiated so I don’t have to worry about it.

After I applied online I was very quickly contacted over the phone. The agent was very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with me. I would recommend Freedom Debt Relief to individuals who are struggling with owing to Creditors regarding credit card debt. In addition, I knew that I was in trouble because my credit card payments were getting higher than my monthly salary. Therefore, I called Freedom Debt Relief for help. Truthfully, I am so glad that I turned to Freedom Debt Relief assistance.
Once I spoke with an agent, he or she assured me, that I did not have to do anything but make an agreement making sure monthly monies were deposited into my account in order to cover enough monies for my debt owed. This is the best part, my creditors have been negotiating by making a settlement. Your company ignored Amex and I was sued. Had to step in last second and negotiate since you didn't. Now again, I have another suit I was served with that you neglected to take care of or even notify me. You did nothing. The whole time assuming you're doing your job.

I had absolutely no idea that this company would cause me to have to go to court and have judgments against me. I've done everything they've asked me to do. They don't tell you that "there are some creditors we don't have a good relationship with." (From the representative themself). If I had known that, I would have never let them negotiate the debt. Now I'm faced with garnished wages, judgements, and a lien on my home. I would NEVER trust this company again.

I got myself into some debt in the amount of $20,000 and was paying roughly $600 per month for it. I felt like I was drowning and could not get out of it. I wish I would have just kept up with it and avoided this entire process. Yes, it all sounded great and was less per month but in the end it was not worth the additional stress it caused me. I am now 2 yrs in and have made several attempts to speed up the process by making additional payments but they continue to keep me on track to graduate the program in 2021.
They have an option on their website that says "Make a one-time additional deposit or increase your regular deposit to reach your Graduation Date sooner." I have done this and they are telling me they can't make additional payments because of the way their system operates. I think this is totally unfair. They are making me stay in this horrible state of affairs for what?? I am doing what I can to be done faster and they just want to keep me in the same state. I do not appreciate what they have done and now I am even more stuck than before. Do not do this if you can avoid it. It is not worth it.

We began this journey eight months ago and as of today we now have only two more debts to settle. Before you sign up for Financial Freedom, make sure you have extra money sitting around. It wasn't explain to me when I first signed up that I was going to have to come up with extra money outside of the two monthly payments. I have already had two lawsuits that required me to pull out an extra $3,000 and extra $14,000 in order to settle these two accounts. Since I'm unemployed, I had to dig into my 401k to pay both of those extra amounts. In conclusion, BEWARE if you have no extra money in your bank account when you sign up for this program.

My score prior to engaging in this program was in the 700s. It's now 520 and after 2 years the debt is still there. I am not certain when I will be able to repair the damage of my credit score. For the first time in my life I had to have my daughter cosign for me. I would not recommend this as a debt solution. If I had known the impact it would have on my overall score I would not have taken this path.

Updated on 01/02/2020: Discover card took this account to small claims. They informed FDR that they were going to do this and FDR did not notify me of this and they did nothing to stop it. Then when we were sued it went to NLLG. The settlement they came up with along with FDR fees left us paying more than the current balance of the account. Is this real savings like were told we would get? FDR did not earn their fees on this one or the last Discover settlement as far as I am concerned.
Original: Although I approved it, I am not real happy with my last settlement with Discover/Gurstel Law. It was for 80% and with fees didn't save me anything. I have informed FDR of a couple wanting to settle for half with me directly but FDR has done nothing with those. Hopefully they will eventually settle for less than half so fees can be covered.

After I was out of work for a while due to medical issues, bills piled up and I had no way to pay them. I researched and eventually read that Freedom Debt Relief had the highest ratings. I spoke several times with one of the representatives who answered all my questions, and when I was satisfied that it was legitimate and on the up-and-up, then I decided to go with them.
I'm impressed by their rep's patience and knowledge. There was no pressure whatsoever. He just continued to call me. I had him call me like for a couple of months until I was really sure, and he answered my question every single time. When I signed up, I really had very, very little money, and no income coming in. They waived one of the fees for me to get me started, and then adjusted my monthly payment low enough so that I could actually enroll in the program. With Freedom Debt Relief I don’t get the phone calls anymore. They’ve settled on most of my bills. There’s maybe one left and that’s it. I found out after the fact that my best friend had enrolled about a month before I decided to. And she’s very happy as well.

My work went south and I still made too much to file a bankruptcy. I didn’t wanna mess my creditors up either that much. I wanna still try and pay them what I could. So I signed up with Freedom Debt Relief and the application process was easy as it could be. They dropped the ball one time. I’m a little disappointed in them on that, but anybody can do that. But so far, they’ve answered every question. They’ve all been just fine, and friendly as they could be. The payment plan was less than what I was paying monthly payments on the credit cards, so I'm happy with that. I can still afford to pay off my debts.

We wanted to consolidate everything. We found out that Freedom Debt Relief could settle for less. My husband is a disabled veteran and I'm disabled myself, so we figured that would help. We applied to see if we could get a loan and payoff everything and then pay monthly. They said we didn’t qualify for the one lump sum payment so we just did the settlement. But once we got things paid down, Consolidated Plus sent us an email saying we were qualified, which was very interesting. It was a lot lower amount, but what they're doing now is settling everything. We have two left to do and when it’s done, we start paying them monthly.
I’ve been going on the dashboard, keeping track of everything. I go online and check on things. If I have questions, I can call and they answer my questions. They’re not afraid to do that and I like that part of it because there are some things that I didn’t quite understand like with Consolidated Plus, which is what we got recently to pay off everything quicker, and I didn’t understand why we couldn’t have gotten it in the beginning because our credit score was a lot higher.
The bad part about it was the fact that because of the settlements, our credit score dropped tremendously. So, now, we have to build up again and get it back. But the guy in the beginning said upfront that our score would drop. It’s all part of the negotiating. But other than that, they’ve been very helpful. I would recommend them to someone if they wanted to do it. They followed up really well and I appreciated the fact that no matter what questions we had, someone would answer them and go through things with us on the dashboard and let us know what was going on and how it was about. We were supposed to have finished later, but now we’re finishing earlier because we did get the loan there, and that kinda helped a little bit to get things done faster. We had automatic payment. Every month we were adding money to the account, so they build up. It is working out a lot better than what we thought.

I am a little disappointed in my debt relief. Thought I would be done with all my cc ones and more than half still left. Seems they're more worried about loan one and getting it resolved first. Since they are making payments on my cc ones they could have settle all of them by now with what is in my account. Need a new car and can't get a loan since these are being held...

I used Freedom Debt Relief's service before but I had to cancel because money was tight and I couldn’t make the payments. Now that I’m more stable, I started doing the program again. I was looking up debt relief places possibilities and after I read some of Freedom Debt Relief comments from customers, I tried them out. I talked to a gentleman when I started, and he said it usually takes about a year after your graduation to see the effects of the program. I told him what kind of situation I had, and he explained how they do it. It was a real simple program, and he explained how the program works. I talked to customer service twice during the process. They were real helpful in explaining the minor questions I had and got it all resolved. The only reason I got out of the program so quickly was because I sold my house, and I had a profit there, so I put that money towards what I had to pay off.
The program helped my credit real quick. I had four different cards combined into this program, and the payment plan that I had was way cheaper than what I was paying with credit cards. Before, I had about $32,000 of debt. And if I paid on what the credit cards were, it was like over $1,000 a month in payments. But Freedom made it into $486 a month, and that was it.

I signed up with Freedom and gave them my email, and we were contacted back through email. They were very nice. They walked me through the whole process and helped me get everything set up. It’s almost three years later and I'm almost out of debt. They were pretty thorough, very professional and friendly. They made the whole process of realizing that I had been over my head a lot better. The payment plan is very easy and it’s very complete. They gave me lots of options, and helped me pick out a payment range that I could afford. It's all-around great coaching.

My experience with Freedom Debt Relief is going along very good. I looked at a few different things and I answered the phone, and the people from Freedom were more helpful people. I understand that I was gonna pay fees, but the explanation and the help getting set up and getting the program going, it was all done over the phone very sufficiently by Jennifer. She was really nice and very helpful. I just had one little glitch with it. It's a program. Even with all the programs out there, if you have some bigger loans, that could cause problems in negotiations. It's made for $2,000, $3,000, $4,000 credit card limits. You don't wanna go $10,000, $12,000 entered in there because what happens is you get five settlements on five credit cards, and the next thing you know, you get this settlement, and you can only afford to put the amount in there.
That's where I felt I got pushed a little bit. I had one of them had to leave the program, go into collections, and go in the lawyer's office, and I'm getting summons for that. You gotta be careful. You can add one in there, don't add multiple big ones. But besides that, I'm already halfway through the program. I've got five paid off, and I pay my monthly deposit and they take care of everything. It's impacted my credit score 88 points. It went up 88 points. Every time we get one showing it was paid off, it takes 60 days, but at least every three to six months it's updating. Hopefully, I'm getting a disbursement from my 401k here next month or within the next 30 days, and I'm gonna put the payoff amount in there and I'm gonna pay them all off, and then I'm not gonna owe anybody nothing. Overall, every time I call Freedom, they do answer my question and help me out, and they're very professional and proficient.

After my phone conversation with the customer services representative, I felt assured not to be overly concerned about a recent email received from a creditor that's on the FDR list of negotiation. Both representatives worked to lower the amount of two out of three enrolled debt in my account but unfortunately the other enrolled debt, they weren’t able to bring the amount down due to it’s with a credit union. But they explained to me about negotiating with credit union’s that It’s difficult to negotiate with them.
