You guys put me in an very bad situation involving this account. You guys already took over 2000 dollars for settlement fees on this account then you dropped me from your program and I never told you to. Now I got a debt warrant from them and it is all Freedom Debt fault. I already was paying on that debt when you dropped me from freedom Debt. My question, "What are you going to do about it?"

These guys do a great job of negotiating debt down to a reasonable amount and working with creditors. They've been taking care of over $10,000 in debt on my end with excellent results, and their communication is also friendly and reliable. As long as you make your payments on time and do what they ask you to do, your debt will be gone sooner or later - and for cheaper than it would be if you had done it yourself. Easy and reliable!

At first the program was fine but then I have had creditors take me to court because they wouldn't wait for settlements and I was told by your representative that they would. As a result a lien was placed on my property.

Freedom Debt Relief was recommended to me by a coworker who was in their program as well. I had too many credit cards and I was making the minimum payment. Freedom consolidated everything and they did pretty well. I got a lot less collection calls. I only had one instance when the consultant wasn't very knowledgeable nor really good at helping me in the phone call. But, Freedom got someone to call me back. Other than that, it was a good experience using their service. I've just paid off everything by making a lump sum payment on the debt. Being with FDR helped a lot in the way of lessening pressure on paying everything and getting minimum payments paid.

I sent an email of the document I received and the Law Department was going to check it over to see if the account can be dropped from my dashboard. Check with them for two reasons...to get it removed from paying it back and to lower my payback balance. Also to lower my payments.

We did not want to settle at 100% for Citibank Sears account which was sent to Lawyers who have tried to garnish my wages but since laid off due to Covid they can't. Were told to complete Financial Hardship Statement & sent in. Were not home at the time as hubby is trying to get approved for kidney transplant. But emailed it off today. In 2017, after buying a home and adding new debts to a previous pile load of debts, I was at 81000$ in secured debts. 30 K for a Personal Loan and % credit cards each at 10 Grand. I had the bandwidth to pay only 1 Grand each month and the interest was eating up. I could not afford the car loan and mortgage and all housing expenses. I am the only earning member in my family. With poor medical insurance, each year the deductibles and coinsurances were also adding up on credit card debt. I enrolled with FDR. My debts were far higher even for FDR but they helped me and accommodated me for a 55 month program.
At 40 months, they had paid off all my credit cards and negotiated my personal loan to 12 k from 30 K. They had given me a low interest personal loan to graduate me early. I was initially suspicious of the loan and refused their call. After about 6 months, I went back to them and requested for the loan myself. Now Having graduated, I see that my score only increased 20 points in 3 months. I am keeping my fingers crossed to see if my score would increase. I am still at 585 and cannot refinance my mortgage at this point. I am getting a few new credit cards with low limits though. FDR is a genuine company and definitely not a scam. They would push their limits to help you. My total debts settled including fees were 55,000 and original debt was around 81000.

I've had a horrible experience with this company. I've been lied to on three different occasions. I'm told I'm done with the program. No more payments. I now have plenty of funds to pay off my debt and I'm not able to bc of a stipulated agreement. Now I'm told I owe another $1500 to complete the program. What a complete nightmare!

I was served with another citation being sued by Citibank. Multiple emails and phone calls and I still don’t know what is going on. Got an email from LLG declining me then I get an email from y’all telling me to contact them and send all the paperwork again?? Chase was one of the creditors on my account but I could have settled my debt with them cheaper than what Freedom did. I was told that whoever was working on my behalf with FDR could get it cheaper but they did not. They waited and waited. By the time they closed and settled, the cost was $2,500 more than what I could have settled. Also, FDR is working on my debt with First National Bank. My understanding when we negotiated everything was that everything was all in the contract and it was all frozen. This was not the case. They let the interest grow and grow.
One of the debts they settled for $5,000 less than what I owed. So lo and behold, I have to claim that $5,000 as income on my income tax. So, I get no income tax back. Freedom says I can use a form 392 to offset that. For the last three years, I've tried to use form 392 and I cannot use it. There's nobody in Freedom that can explain that form to me. Not only am I paying 432 every month, but I also have to claim that on my taxes. This was all fine print that we weren't informed of. There is also a service fee every month. Whatever FDR saves me, I have to pay 27% of that. Freedom just lured me in. Now, everything that I've turned in has set for two years. There's no getting out because I've let my creditors set for two years on idle. I would not recommend FDR unless you have no other way out at all.

I appreciate the help they gave me. Negotiating 40k down to 20k. I just made my payments. A manageable monthly amount. Time goes by and you're done. Some of my creditors told me they don't negotiate. FDR did manage to settle with these companies as well.

Just not informed on when my credit is going to improve. Rep do not have a great acumen when it comes to the process or road map to credit improvement. I had several examples where the rep sent me to another to response to my TFI. The advertisement is a bit ambiguous. Also, the fee is pretty high for my taste.

I think their service is fair, it’s very slow and steady but that’s the business. Resolutions get done and the communication is very open. I feel like this is a good service. I wish it was a little quicker but I understand because some amounts are very high and they need to be strategically done. My credit is still crap that’s why I would wish it was quicker!

I was swimming in debt. FDR took 12 of my credit cards with outstanding balances and reduced my monthly payment to 1 easier and lower payment. They will settle with each creditor on a lower balance in time. The best part, the monthly interest that was accruing with each account is gone. I never would have been able to pay the cards off with the minimum payments I was making.

Something that would be very informative would be another line on any proposed settlement that also shows what the FDR fee will be so I know the total savings AND the cost of the service. So instead of a 48% reduction, in actuality, it might be 55% when the fee is included.

It's been very good customer service. From the first day I called, everybody has been great. If it's a situation you've never been in before, they give you the respect and the courtesy. They guide you through it where it's easy to understand and they don’t make it very difficult. Also, the follow up from them is really good. Especially with the emails, they let me know every step of the way where I am.
The associates have been very helpful and knowledgeable and they made the experience comfortable for me. Anytime I've had to call regarding anything, they have been very helpful. Things have happened really quickly, which I like, and I really like the client dashboard. The payment was set up well. If I needed to change a date, they would take care of it. It's very convenient. I've been with FDR for about three years now and exactly what their rep said occurred. I'll be out of debt this year. It's peace of mind and it’s one less thing behind me.

The customer service that I have received so far has been extremely helpful. The enrollment process at Freedom was fine. I am still in the program, but I have had some issues, like them not calling all my debtors when I first gave them the list so that they know that Freedom was the contact person. They only call them when they get ready to negotiate a settlement, whereas I've got people hanging out there almost three years now, wanting money from me. I'm still getting calls because Freedom Debt Relief hasn't called them because they're not ready to negotiate. For an old woman who's on a fixed income, this is not what I had in mind. I've had to seek out the legal aspect of it because they couldn't come to an agreement to decrease on a couple of them. I'm not happy with Freedom Debt Relief.

I really feel your settlement fees are expensive. The money I Save isn’t quite as expected but overall it is in the good category. On one of my small settlements you stated I saved 80 % but I really didn’t save 5% after your fees,

I just got done paying on my debts. This experience caused me more stress! While my debts are paid now, I would not recommend this to anyone else. There are better ways to negotiate debt. Lesson learned! I would recommend other options before trying this one.

My original settlement contract with my account at Navy Federal was erroneously voided. It took several weeks to resolve. During that time I was flooded with texts and emails asking me to accept a new settlement. Causing A LOT of stress and anxiety I did not need or deserve! Communication was lacking and I was not given any real answers. I had to call in several times to try and push for a resolve. This was a horrible experience. Once I am finished paying this I hope to never need it again, and will NOT be recommending it to anyone I know.

Freedom Debt Relief has been easy to work with and they are helpful. My expectation was that they would negotiate for large reductions in debt because of their size but with fees it works out to the same amount if I had made a schedule and paid it off myself. I signed up with Freedom Debt Relief and submitted all my cards. After a year, they gave me an interview and said I was qualified for the Freedom Loan Trust. I didn't realize that if I was with Freedom Debt Relief, I would graduate in 2022. But now I’m with TrustLoan and I'm not going to graduate until 2024. When I realized this, it was too late. The good thing about this is that after six months, I can refinance and get my interest rate dropped or I could also take out another loan.
Overall, my experience with FDR has been wonderful. Every time I call, the most I can wait is five minutes and their reps always answer my questions. At first, my creditors would call me five times a day, every day. With FDR I have more peace of mind. They just say I should ignore the creditors or give them the number for them to call Freedom Debt Relief. Now that all my bills are settled and paid by Freedom Debt Trust it's even better. It's gonna take me two extra years, but there's a relief. Nobody's calling me anymore and my credit score has gone up. They took 21 points off my credit and I didn't know why my score was picking up. When I called Freedom, the rep I spoke with said that maybe one of my credit cards had been paid off and they haven't reported it. She also said that after a couple of months, I'm gonna see my credit score growing even more.

Freedom Debt is helping me resolve my debt. I was paying on so many accounts. Freedom Debt consolidated my debt and they were able to get settlements to fit my budget. They have helped me through all of my debts. I really appreciate their help. I don't think that I could of gotten out of debt without their help.

I have been very happy with FDR for resolving my Credit Card issues. I was suffering terribly due to a severe illness and credit card companies who could not understand how disabled I had become. FDR helped me negotiate these debts and relieved a lot of the stress so I could focus on recovering and managing my new disability.

FDR is outstanding. I'm glad I picked them instead of somebody else. I had another debt relief company 10 years ago and it was a hassle working with them. I've called Freedom and asked them about certain debts and they've been able to answer my questions. The program is working really well for me. The overall process of working with Freedom Debt Relief has given me so much peace of mind. They have worked with my creditors to help me resolve the cycle of making monthly payments and seeing no progress in getting debt paid off. Since being with FDR I began seeing progress in accounts being negotiated with my creditors' terms being met.
