Absolutely wonderful experience. I’m glad I went with them. Always helpful. Explains everything thoroughly. Once completed the weight on my shoulders was gone. They did everything. I highly recommend them to anyone who is in debt and needs help. Very easy to work with. Great customer service. I received an email about Freedom Debt Relief’s services and I looked it up and compared it to other companies. The rep was very professional and did a good job. We had to work through some changes, but they provided a payment plan that was comfortable for me.

I thought Freedom Debt Relief was the best of the group that I was looking at. But now, I'm finding out there may be better companies than them. I initially spoke to somebody. He was fine in terms of helping me out. But once he had me on board with them, every time I called back to talk to somebody, it was always somebody else. I'm still with them right now, but I may be changing over to somebody else. They don't really give me a figure in terms of the interest rate or how much I'm paying them for what they're doing. They said to me once that it's around 10% on each credit card that I was trying to eliminate but they never told me anything actual.

I'll be in a debt consolidation program for about 4 years, and so far, Freedom Debt Relief has been good. The reps that I've been working with have been excellent.

This company has help now twice, awesome job!! I hope to not have to use them a third time but if I do it will be great again. The day they said yes was the day that was relief for me! Started with 9 credit card and they were able to cut them in half!

I am very happy what was to be a loan application turned out to be a good conversation with a member of the the debt relief members and it has turned into a very good situation. I was unexpectedly laid off from my previous job and was unemployed for three months. I then found a job that paid me much less, but I accepted because I needed the work. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable during the process of my program. They would do their best to answer my questions. The process was a little slow at first but after I made a couple of deposits into the dedicated account things got rolling quickly.

When I first started out with Freedom Debt Relief I thought I made the right decision... What I found out they charge way too much for each settlement.. I would end up paying more than the actual loans. Don't recommend...

Anthony is very knowledgeable and answers any question that comes up. He helped me get set up super fast and is super professional! Also, I love the dashboard. It shows everything you need to know! You can see what payments you have coming up and everything that has been paid already. They make you feel so good!

I’m not happy due to the length of time to wait for a settlement. I’m not happy with what I’m experiencing in the meantime, for a settlement to get approved, I’m not happy with that it’s affecting my credit score. The rep is of no help at all. Thank you.

If you go through a problem, then don't be afraid to have someone help you. Enrolling with Freddom Debt Relief very easy. and they worked really well with me. I gave them my debt, how much I owed, and told them the companies that I was having problems with. They told me not to worry, that they'll help me work things out, and how much they would have to take out of my account every month after they made settlements with the companies. I've been getting emails from them all the time. It's been very easy and very comforting.

I was repeatedly assured that a debt management plan (DMP) is distinct from debt settlement. I later learned there is no material difference between them. I still had to stop paying my creditors and watch my FICO score plummet. I will be repairing my credit for years to come. The first settlement is helpful, but I am dreading what I’m sure is an enormous fee waiting for me. I wish the company had been honest about the process from the start.

At first, I did not understand the process and was disappointed in the progress of the settlements. I was patiently waiting, wondering if anything was progressing at all. The last couple of days, I was able to agree on settlements. I have two more I have requested to add via email: copies of demand letters from those creditors. No confirmation has been received on them being added yet to be worked on. I continue submitting payments to trust fund to settle these current debts but I would like to add two more. So far, I have been pleased with the results and income tax time plan to add extra to the trust fund to speed up the payments to the creditors that I am trying to clear in hopes to improve credit to purchase a home. I believe programs like these are a means to that end.

The representative talked with me about my issues and my financial problems. He took my income, ran it through the calculations, and sent me an email. He also explained how to set up the dashboard whenever I was ready.

Believe every word of all the one star reviews!! I read every one of them and felt like I was reliving my own experience. The straw that broke the camel's back for me was yet another conversation with them where I could not get a straight answer to even the simplest yes or no question. Instead, they would assume to know why I was asking the question and reply to that - or just play stupid and attempt to repeat my question back to me which never even came close to what I was asking - which, by the way, was about their fee, which is uppermost priority!!! Believe it!! And yes, you have control over the dedicated account unless it's for all the miscellaneous fees that you'd think would come out of their settlement fee - like $10 for a paper check or some other fee for an overnighted payment every month.

I am very pleased with my experience with FDR. They are understanding and went over my options with me, they answered all my questions. I only had to make one phone call and everything was handled. I have recommended to other people about your options and friendly advice that you offered.

So far, so good! It’s only been a few weeks into this process, and as they explained from the very beginning, the initial phase tends to be the most challenging. Even knowing that, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, and I came in with a lot of anxiety about how everything would play out. Always the same: open them, glance, toss them. But, when I got this offer, something made me stop. "Highly rated with the B.B.B." ok, I'll bite. I read the reviews. The only negative were people saying that their credit plummeted after signing up for the program. So, in hopes that this is the first review you are reading, let me make that point perfectly clear.

Freedom Debt Relief, has helped me get my expenses paid down, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but I raised my monthly dedicated amount to crossroads, in the amount of 550.00, it is too hard for me to make this each month. If you actually read this review, is there any way I could have you lower the amount? I know the more I pay the faster the debt will be gone, but, I and my wife are now on just Social Security income and it is difficult for us to make ends meet.

The stress FDR has relieved has been tremendous. I didn't think it would ever proceed like promised at the beginning, but the process has been everything I'd hope it could be. Also, the amount of debt being forgiven is astounding, I negotiated nothing.

I’m happy with what Freedom Debt has been doing for me. My credit score will go down, and I understand it’s part of the process. But I have three accounts that have been paid off, so everything seems to be working out pretty well. Customer service has been good. We had a miscommunication regarding payments, but they were flexible and gave me a little bit of room, so we got that straightened out.

This is the absolute worst company ever! It cost me more than what I owed and was given misinformation the entire time I was in this program. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The cost me my credit score because they would not deal with the prime company and then told me I could close and are delaying that process also! SCAM!!!

File bankruptcy. It’s cheaper. This company takes a ton of money and is VERY slow on resolving your debt. They take about 1/2 of what you pay in. Lot of money for very little results. They make it seem like it’s so easy. Your credit rating will drop like a rock.

I don't know how many times, from various people and many scenarios in life, have I heard, "Trust us, we'll treat you like family". This may sound cliche, but FDR truly does. From the jump, the end goal is to guide you through your financial trials and tribulations. Many of the customer service personnel have/had shared sympathies and if not, there was never a shortness of empathy, and above all . . . no judgement. Now don't get it twisted, they keep it level and they affirm that the program is only as good as the work you put in. The more you put in, the greater and faster the outcome. I can't speak for anyone else, but I would 100% recommend anyone to contact them and I don't usually say that for many companies.

Signing up for FDR was one of the biggest mistakes I have made in a long time. While they sell you on the fact that the account is yours, they charge an exorbitant fee up front to ensure you can't afford to leave the program once you have signed up. I would not recommend. You are better off dealing with the creditors on your own. I was charged 3k in fees on a 10k settlement. That's higher than the interest rates I was being charged. SCAM.

I was interested in a way to pay off all my credit cards and have a fresh start. I spoke with Anthony Cheddie and he did such a great job explaining the program. I enrolled and could not be any happier. I am approaching a year on this program and it is working well for me. If I know anyone interested in this I am recommending Anthony and your company. He made it all so easy and was exceptional at explaining everything. I have had NO surprises and everything is working out EXACTLY how he stated. I am very satisfied.

I had to call 10 plus times to get the correct payoff amount in order to close my account. I got different answers each time even with management. Extremely frustrating when I paid everything a month prior in order to speed things along so I can buy a house.

Explain. Very good. Took time to explain and show how the program works. Question I have is now I'm getting all these creditors calling me for the payments and I'm confused on what to do. Do I pay them or or wait till you all get it going? I feel insecure right now, I have never missed to as my payments.

It would be Very nice if you would let ALL the Debtors enrolled in the plan that you are working with me, instead of just leaving them hanging not knowing that you are working with me. And the the part where you said Debtors can't contact us on weekends is Wrong, I get calls and text messages all weekend.

I am early in my stint with Freedom Debt Relief, and so far, things are great. They explained everything very well and have been in touch with me every step of the way. I will provide a more thorough review once we are fully into the relief. So far, so good.

I reached out to Freedom Debt because I was on short-term disability, which turned into long-term disability, and I couldn’t keep up with my payments. I spoke with my creditors, and they were fine at first, but after about six months, I was still waiting on Social Security, and some were ready to sue me. I thought about chapter 7, but I have two vehicles I can’t lose, and I didn’t want to go that route. I wanted to pay off my credit cards. I originally got them to build my credit, not knowing I’d end up in a situation where I couldn’t work.

I was enrolled with another debt relief company named Money Management International but I had some issues. Some of my creditors weren’t included because they couldn’t negotiate with them. So that led me to start looking around.

We were stuck in a cycle of paying minimums, told we could pay less and still pay off debt. We are now forced to pay $450 more than we already were maxed at and paying nearly 1k in fees every time they settle an account. Not what was advertised and not worth the hassle.

I make payments twice a month. They take care of the rest. There were 2 creditors who filed a lawsuit. Before the hearing date FDR was able to settle and I did not have to appear in court. My credit rating was horrible, when I first started the program, but it is gradually starting to go up. If this is your last option, I would seriously recommend FDR.

Deceptive. They need to be up front that you will be sued, creditors will sue you and embarrassingly serve you in front of loved ones/visitors/family. Not discreet at all. Bring in debt is mortifying as it is. Their legal team that helps you with law suits is HORRIBLE. They speak condescendingly to you, do not explain processes.

Just yesterday I was in debt beyond the point where I didn't know what I was going to do. Fortunately I was screwing the internet and send the debt relief freedom program. My wife and I have been married 30+ years, working through financial challenges until we finally broke free from debt in 2020. Our credit score rose to the 800+ range and we maintained it for a few years, managing serious medical issues using our insurance, savings, and focused use of credit cards to maintain our financial position. There is no communication from you on what’s happening in my account. I go to your woefully wrong web page to try to see what’s been happening in my account and it’s really hard to understand. Just tried looking at my account yesterday and decided to just close page without understanding anything.

This is my second time, the first time I wasn’t ready to do this. The second time it was time. The counselor was really wonderful. She explained to me. The other counselor did not and every time I called to talk to him I never got an answer and this time was different.

So Far, so good. Time will tell. First deposit deposit was made, was able to change banking "info", though I had to call in to that. E-mails-- a tad too many. Other than that, I just have to wait and see, how this all unfolds.

Why would anyone just stop paying if credit is outstanding and you can make payments. I really feel screwed now. Regret it so much. I’m trying to get Helco and just pay everything off. I also just tried to find my order number on the app and on my account documents, but I can’t find it anywhere so there’s that too.

I have no problem with how this program takes place. It has taken me some time to fully understand how this takes place. As time has moved on, I understand the program works. At the beginning, I had been very confused. But now I see what is going on.

I had a credit card debt of $ 19,000. I entrusted responsibility to Freedom Debt Relief to get me free of this debt. They are doing a very good job. My 2 credit card debt has been resolved, work on 3rd credit card debt is in hand. They work on the credit card debt one by one, hopefully after 3rd credit card the work on 4th shall be started. I strongly recommend this company for all your needs.

FDR did take the pressure off me regarding my onerous debt situation. I do take some exception to their disbursement strategy though. It seems they tried to stretch it out longer than necessary (to collect extra monthly fees??).

I was happy with FDR initially until I was served a summons to appear in court. Although I enrolled two American Express accounts with FDR, they only informed Amex about one account and Amex sued me for non-payment. This could all have been resolved upfront rather than causing me this additional stress and angst. Also, with all four accounts that FDR has negotiated a settlement with, the creditors are showing the debts as right-offs rather than accounts closed and it’s still affecting my credit score. In fact, it appears that this will affect my credit score for two more years.

I contacted Freedom Debt Relief because I was overwhelmed with credit card debt. I probably had 30 credit cards that were maxed out. I was looking at never paying them off in any reasonable amount of time because it was just so overwhelming. I was paying minimum payments. One of my enrolled debts from several years ago served me with a 62 page summons at my home demanding that I answer within 20 days. I was never told how to check my account and so unfortunately I just send the money and hope. I wish they would have sent me in print instructions. I older and do not use my phone like the younger generation. I don’t even know my order number or anything else about my so called account. Poor communication.

I have had great success with the program. I myself have had a problem with some of the accounts by not being able to cancel payment. One of the representatives called me and said to go to the bank and have them help me. Some of my accounts have already stopped withdrawing from my account so I am very happy.

I was served legal papers from my bank, Bank of America for non-payment on the credit card from the bank. This card is on my claim with FDR as well as for over a year I have had $198 to $224 taken out of my checking account every month on the 5th of the month to pay and settle my debts. But they have never done anything about the bank card. Which was the largest debt and should have been taken care of. I shredded this card at the time I filed as not to use it.

Setup was fast and easy. However after that the guy who helped me through sign up and setup who said he'd always be available for me refuses to answer my calls and texts. I still have received no info regarding the account my movie goes into to track its use and balance. So far not a fan.
