FDR did take the pressure off me regarding my onerous debt situation. I do take some exception to their disbursement strategy though. It seems they tried to stretch it out longer than necessary (to collect extra monthly fees??).

I was happy with FDR initially until I was served a summons to appear in court. Although I enrolled two American Express accounts with FDR, they only informed Amex about one account and Amex sued me for non-payment. This could all have been resolved upfront rather than causing me this additional stress and angst. Also, with all four accounts that FDR has negotiated a settlement with, the creditors are showing the debts as right-offs rather than accounts closed and it’s still affecting my credit score. In fact, it appears that this will affect my credit score for two more years.

I contacted Freedom Debt Relief because I was overwhelmed with credit card debt. I probably had 30 credit cards that were maxed out. I was looking at never paying them off in any reasonable amount of time because it was just so overwhelming. I was paying minimum payments. They took control of everything and now everything is paid off, and the relief I feel is unexplainable.

The representative was very clear, concise and thorough. My need was met. Timeline in me paying my debt off is good. Budget/payment scheduled monthly affordable. The representative was understandable and knowledgeable of my situation. Was able to talk me through and established a good plan that works for me.

I went with Freedom Debt Relief after my fiancée recommended their services because she had successfully completed her debt settlement with them. Although I'm currently unemployed, I've managed to keep up with the payments thanks to Freedom Debt Relief's assistance in making arrangements. I have noticed that the process seems to extend over a longer period than anticipated—I'm on track to complete it by February of next year, but it feels like a lengthy journey.

They helped me get out of debt. They have made a lot of success. They told me they would be able to help me and they did. The team makes you feel like life will get back to normal and I will get through this.. My payment come out automatically and they notify you in advance that the payment is coming out.

One of my enrolled debts from several years ago served me with a 62 page summons at my home demanding that I answer within 20 days. I contacted Freedom Debt Relief and they had me send them the summons, handled it for me, and had it negotiated and in my dashboard before the 20 days was even up. I was never told how to check my account and so unfortunately I just send the money and hope. I wish they would have sent me in print instructions. I older and do not use my phone like the younger generation. I don’t even know my order number or anything else about my so called account. Poor communication.

I have had great success with the program. I myself have had a problem with some of the accounts by not being able to cancel payment. One of the representatives called me and said to go to the bank and have them help me. Some of my accounts have already stopped withdrawing from my account so I am very happy.

I was served legal papers from my bank, Bank of America for non-payment on the credit card from the bank. This card is on my claim with FDR as well as for over a year I have had $198 to $224 taken out of my checking account every month on the 5th of the month to pay and settle my debts. But they have never done anything about the bank card. Which was the largest debt and should have been taken care of. I shredded this card at the time I filed as not to use it.

I could not find any help anywhere from anybody until I seen an ad come up for Freedom Debt Relief and I filled out the questionnaire and I had someone call me almost instantly. He told me that they could help me and I know he knew what I was going through because he had gone through it himself. They're very helpful. Setup was fast and easy. However after that the guy who helped me through sign up and setup who said he'd always be available for me refuses to answer my calls and texts. I still have received no info regarding the account my movie goes into to track its use and balance. So far not a fan.

My experience with Jennifer was exceptional. Great customer service and friendly and knowledgeable. She explained everything efficiently. She then took the time to get to know me and was relatable. I really appreciate her help with with debt issues. I didn't feel judged at all either. Overall it was a great experience.

When you are paying more than you can afford and the balance remain the same, it’s frightening. Suddenly you realize that you can’t pay everything out of your salary. I am thankful that I can vaguely see the light at the end of the tunnel. I do wish the settlement fees had been a little less as, from a savings standpoint, there were times that I felt I could have cleared my debt and reestablished credit rating by filing bankruptcy but am glad now that I didn’t. I only had to reach out to customer service a couple of times and when I did they were able to answer my question.

Have had to end up settling few accounts on my own and was served two garnishments by courts when y’all was suppose to be handling it. I forwarded court papers and it never got handled so I had to handle it myself. Will never recommend this company to anyone. The balances of all my cards increased a great amount since signing with this company which was not what I was told. Then the fees you charge to handle this is ridiculous. No wonder it takes so long to pay off 14,000 credit card debt. Then it’s really not that since I handled three on my own with the card company to keep a garnishment happening but had to pay for it be turned over to collection agent even after filing with Freedom.

Joining this group was a walk in the park. The representative I had was great at communicating and informing me what the company was about. While setting up my account, the simplified what each plan was about. Everything was straight forward and easy to understand. Even managing the app itself is breeze.

Services with this company were great. Staff was helpful and assisted me through the entire process. Would recommend to my family and friends. Staff was professional and answered my questions and concerns with care. This program is great for anyone who needs to reduce their debt. I hope this review is acceptable.

I can make a deposit that I can afford to pay monthly draft. I have more confident for my future to become debt free. I will try my self to put more money to finish it very quickly. I would like to hear the good recommendation. I have done it in the past so that I can have more confidently.

Program doesn’t help with debt. Just makes higher payments and pay more than original loan is. Waste of money. Easier to just pay your bills even at minimum amount due. Cheaper and faster, worst thing I did was sign up for this program. Ruined my credit even more and doesn’t save any money

Would recommend to anyone. They have been so understanding and helpful and when I have had a problem they have solved it quickly. Low monthly payments to help me financially reach my goals of getting this debt paid off. Everyone is have talked to there has been nice and courteous.

My frustration is with continuing to up my payment when they make deal with a creditor!! Like paying 175.00 then having to pay 245.00 twice a month for 3 months or come up with a certain amount of money all at once to receive that deal!! I feel like I’m paying out a Huge amount each month!! I’m glad my accounts are getting settled but is not what I expected.

I was skeptical about this idea, but now that I’ve reached this point I feel like long term I made the right choice. The people involved were helpful, upfront, and realistic about everything that was going to happen. I look forward to paying off the loan and appreciate the money saved in this process.

There are positive to doing it, but you can do it by yourself. Everyone will settle, but these guys kinda help I guess... app is trash, customer service trash... hard to do anything on this program. Would suggest not going through them and do it yourself, kinda fraudish act like they are helping, they aren’t.

We were never told what would happen to our credit score when they took over. At least when I was making payment, my score was over 600 and when they took over, it went to 400 and it still sucks. They seem more interested in their fees than than helping me out. I have paid them a lot of money and very little has went to the settlements.

Freedom Debt Relief helped me during a time of need. The panic at seeing the amount of debt we were in was strangling me. Knowing that I was able to consolidate it all into one payment while they partnered with my creditors to settle balances and that there would be an END to the overwhelming bills was a breath of fresh air.

When I signed up, I wasn’t given all of the details of the program. The important parts were left out like your credit being tarnished and how you don’t call the creditors. Also how you don’t disclose that when accounts go to court you don’t really have a way to assist but only to say that you don’t have lawyers which isn’t exactly what you say when people sign up.

Very disappointed with how this account was handled. Seems like it was one of the last accounts you guys tried to negotiate & I was taken to court with charges piled on top of charges and I'm afraid this going to happen to the Check N Go / Reach accounts. If it does I will have to drop out of the program because I can't continue to pay large payments to the court & you guys as well.

My experience has been excellent so far. As promised, Freedom has been negotiating each of my debts successfully one at a time. I am moving steadily toward being debt free with an affordable monthly payment and will graduate in a year. Such a relief! I highly recommend the Freedom Debt Relief program.

Besides the payments spread our over years not months. Almost all my settlements have been exactly what they companies have offered me amount wise, without your help. And then I have to pay fees that make them cost more in the end... And when I have called about companies threatening legal action, no one is understanding about it. And when it gets taken to court, it cost more money in the end. Not to mention the extra fees you guys charge. No one explained the amount of fees I would be paying when I signed up. And by that point it was too late, you all had already made a settlement... And I felt obligated to keep going. And couldn't afford to make the offered settlements credit cards naturally gave me by mail (I stopped sending them to you all, because it was waste of time,) because I was paying you all.

I don't know. I had a explain to you. I don't think it would raise my credit up if it takes 2 years to clean my credit up. I need to have my credit raise my credit up. Whatever payment I made, it should go up. And I don't think any credit card. People should be calling you if you're working with them.

I felt that I was in a never ending with my credit cards so I decided to consolidate my accounts hoping this will help. New to the program. I trust that in time I will be debt free. My debt is $9000.00 with payments amount of $267.00 which is a lot less than my payments were. I know my credit score will lower but at the end I feel free of debt which is what I want to accomplish.

So far, my experience has been great. I’ve received some updates on my account and they show real concern about my account. I feel very confident about my account being completely resolved they provide me with any information that I need to know about I get constant updates as to what the status is and inform me the status of each account

My experience with Freedom Relief has been a good experience, they helped me when I need it the help, they managed to contact some of my creditors and resolve my high balance debt, I wish I could understand the fees better so I can feel like my deposits are working faster towards settling my debt resolved.

Seems like the Debt process is going Well. I have asked several times for Paperwork showing I am enrolled with Freedom Debt Relief or Statements of progress but have Never received anything. Help Please. This would be for My records and Much easier for me to keep up with our progress. Trying to navigate all of this on my phone is a challenge.

They told me 2 to 3 yrs, I'm at three years now and they tell me 2 to 3 MORE! yrs to settle my debt, They also raised my Auto Deposit amount without my consent!! try to opt out and they convince me to stay in the program, I have paid them almost 15K in 3 yrs and they say I gotta keep this shit up for another 2 to 3 yrs, Ain't gonna happen!!!

I am satisfied with the FDR settlement reached with 3 of my 7 creditors. However, I have been sued by one of the others (Discover) for the outstanding balance on that account. I received a court summons for 8/6/25. I notified FDR of the situation and provided copies of the legal papers associated with the action. I have never heard anything back! The law firm handling the case for them has contacted me via letter about reaching a payment settlement. I don't know whether I should comply or wait for FDR to do that!

FDR is very helpful with my needs. I am kept informed always. Any service I may need the representatives are always courteous and guide me to the steps to take. I watched an episode of the Duck Call Room Podcast and they mentioned FDR. I went online and filled out the form and within a short time they were calling me. Right away I was missing the calls but FDR did not give up. They kept at me, thankfully! Finally, I got a call set up with Jade and we went through the simple process of getting everything set up. Now I feel a huge weight off my shoulders and look forward to getting my future back to where I want it!

FDR has settled one of my 14 accounts within 2 weeks of starting the program. Based on that they are off to a good start. The dash board is great because I can see everything going on. I liked the fact that they made several attempts to alert me they had reached a settlement and needed my approval. So like I said earlier they are off to a good start.

I feel that’s Service charges are excessive. Extending installment on each account so that Service charges Will be bigger For a long term. Instead of Helping me, I end of half of the Forgiveness of my debt goes to your pocket plus Services charges. I Will not recommend it to anyone. Sorry.

I was lead to believe that my debt was dropped to $14,000 but is shows on my app that I owe $19,585. I don’t know why. When I spoke to a representative they informed me that they were able to take of roughly $4000 of my debt before negotiations with my credit lenders.

Not interested in this program any longer. I have communicated several times problems not fixed. Not. Just seems like not much of a savings when my creditors are offering settlements at a much lower rate than quoted. And I have had things removed and the totals monthly are not coming down. I have decided to work this out on my own.

I signed up with you a couple of weeks ago. I tried all last week to get in touch with someone at FDR. All the numbers you gave me did not work or were disconnected. You should be ashamed of scamming an elderly customer. Have contacted my bank and stopped all future payments with you. I WANT MY $300.00 BACK IMMEDIATELY. I have never been so disappointed with a company in my 82 years.

I just don’t like how they take so long to get to some of my debt to which I have to end up going to court and paying three different companies for something. They should’ve took a jumpstart on before it got to that point now and I’m paying three creditors along with paying you all a month.

FDR got their lawyers involved when I reported to them that one of my accounts was suing me and were taking me to court. They were able to negotiate a settlement with the company, avoiding me needing to go to court. I'm so relieved and appreciative of their help! I'm so glad I found them to help me get out of debt.

Freedom Debt Relief is the best one since I applied it ten years ago. It was so wonderful service. Now, I have a lot of debts because rent was awful. Raise $200. It was caused my budget mess. When adding new accounts the statement only gives 4 to 5 numbers. You have to input the account number manually from the credit card, which is not acceptable for you. Can't find the complete on debtor site so I can't get the complete account number. Thank you very much, or show me a new way of doing this.

At first, I was hesitant, as I usually avoid surveys and such, but once I began, I found the program serviceable. It does require asking many questions since not all the details are self-explanatory. I've been tracking my progress through their app, which has worked well so far. My payment arrangements have been straightforward, although occasionally, I'd prefer to make early payments, but it's tied to my account. While dealing with customer service has been easy, I've noticed that some representatives are more knowledgeable than others, which has caused some confusion at times. Nonetheless, I believe the program is worth recommending, and I’ve already suggested it to a friend because it seems like a good option for managing debts.

I am very satisfied wirh FDR they are excellent. They came into my life when I was stressing with all this credit cards I paid and paid minimum amounts and never could I pay off my cards. The associates ran me step by step and I began to feel confidence and felt like I could move on. And the client dashboard is great. I can see all my progress. Service was great and everything went smooth. The only complaint I had was that I had to send a copy of my POA 3 times because my daughter takes care of my bills. The other thing is the amount I had to pay was a little steep for me. I appreciate what was done to settle my accounts and how quickly they were resolved.

However, I'm currently waiting for the second and third settlements to go through, which admittedly feels a bit slow. I've observed that Freedom seems to prioritize collecting a certain fee before proceeding with settlements, which affects the pace.

Well right now I’m not happy because I received a summons in January and I sent everything in and called and it fell through the cracks. Because there was no response and I was considered a no show the court ruled in favor of the creditor now the last I heard from the law office was that they are waiting for there to be enough money in my account to pay it off. I also don’t feel like I am really saving much as the debt itself is reduced but the amount the company takes almost makes up for the what was reduced. Not saying we don’t save anything, but we don’t save as much as it’s made out to be.

The program basically is necessary, but once you are enrolled, you seem to disappear. Due to the process, I feel I received a summons because negotiations had not been started. Even after the received summons, no account negotiations were initiated by FDR. I feel that if an action plan had been initiated, perhaps my stress and satisfaction would have been improved. When I did speak with anyone, I would get transferred a few times only to get the option to leave a msg. or that agent could not help me and gave me vague responses. The numerous fees seemed unreasonable and excessive costing me more money.

I feel your payments to the people I owe drag out way too long. You are paying $60 a month on one vendor. The money is in my account to pay them off but yet it drags on. I know you are getting interest in what I have accrued. This does not make me happy.

I am very happy with Freedom Debt. They keep me informed on what they are doing and how my accounts are being taken care of. I get emails sent to me letting me know how the progress is going. I would definitely recommend them. I have a lot of friends and family in the same situation that I am in and I think that they would definitely benefit from this program.

I would have thought the debt dir. Refit cards was out based in the fact that you gave me a loan. At least one is not out so I am still paying to make sure that my credit score is not impacted. I will check other credit cards as well.

Since I have been a member I have only been able to access the dashboard two or three times total. Almost every time it sends me to the Chat section. That is not what I need, when I want to check my account balances. The customer service line is only open during regular business hours and I do most of my business at night.

I just started the program. Not 100 percent sure why they sent me the rate right away. But I will say the phone call was easy. But there was a lot of phone tag. Whenever the rep needed to call me back they missed the time slot to call me back. I had to keep emailing and calling to get my program started. I have a debt that was mislabeled as a “cosigned” debt but I have produced documents that show it is only my debt! I still haven’t been contacted about it. I want a little more of an update. This is my life. I'm trying to avoid being sued. The customer service reps are very nice. The program is flexible on how you pay. They work around your pay schedule. The app shows you everything they are working on. I hope to see them strike a deal pretty soon.

When calling customer service they should be able to discuss your loan and be more helpful. I think having one customer service person assigned to your case would be much more helpful. Also being able to go into your creditors and put your arbitrator phone number in so they don’t continue to call and text me during this process.

It’s too early to tell - I’m still getting annoyed calls from creditors that I’m ignoring and it feels horrible but that’s what the all instruction said to do. I’m trying to stick with the program and also trying to remain optimistic. I’m putting all my eggs in the proverbial basket if you will! I hope this works!

DO NOT GO TO THEM!! I would not refer these people to my worst enemy. They literally lie to you and tell you that it cost too much for them to come back and sue you. This will be the seventh time I got sued and I ended up having to settle out one by myself because McCartney Law never even got back to the other Lawyer to resolve my account that I was getting sued for. Please save yourself the time and money and give your money to somebody who will really truly help you guys because this place will not help you and McCartney Law will do nothing for you. I almost had a lien against my house because McCartney Law never tried to negotiate with them.

I was just drowning in credit card debt and I saw an ad for Freedom Debt Relief in my email. I've been thinking about trying to figure out how to consolidate all of my payments, and my credit cards. I contacted them and they set me up right away. Some of the credit cards have been settled. The program is still running and will be an ongoing process for about three years and I’m partially done.

I ask for help, I ask for someone to call me on a Tuesday because I have questions and it doesn't happen. I feel like I have no idea what is happening with this whole process. It started out good, but quickly went downhill. I am disappointed and feel like this will be a mess from here on because I don't know what is or isn't happening and no one does what they say they will. Communications are terrible.

I wish I could give zero, or even negative stars!!!! Freedom Debt Relief takes such a large portion of my payment each month that my debt will take so much longer to pay off. The name of the company is not even FDR on my bank statement which feels sketchy. I’m now trapped because I stopped paying my credit cards under their advisement.

I have almost $4000 in my dedicated balance and my last debt just settled for $3120 plus court fees of $800 and these guys still want me to pay $400 a month for the next 24 months, and if I stop they threaten that my settlement would be in jeopardy? How?? I have more than enough to settle in full! And all while my legal assistant TOLD them to settle this in 2 full monthly payments. Freedom Debt Relief is refusing to listen to the attorney or help me and basically holding me hostage while threatening me at the same time. What you guys are doing is illegal and the definition of extortion. They can do what my attorney suggested, or I'll be calling my bank and telling them to stop payments, regardless of their baseless threats. They are legally obligated to settle this debt with what I have in my dedicated balance and refuse.

You all have been a god send, I appreciate the fantastic job you all are doing for me. The settlements that you have made so far have been done a lot faster than I expected. Thank you for all you have done. I will be letting anyone know just how I am satisfied with your performance.

Yes, they help…eventually. However, they certainly don’t get in any rush about it. The app is absolutely useless, so do yourself a favor and just use the website. I would reluctantly use them again, simply because they eventually get around to settling with your creditors with very little effort on their behalf. On the plus side I will never have to use them again because once I’m done paying them, I’ll NEVER put myself in that position again. This is just MY experience and honest feedback.

This was a solid sign up, unfortunately I didn't fix my behavior until later but the advice and instructions given were accurate. FDR as recent as today has been taking care the debt I enrolled into the program. Been on the program since 2023 and scheduled to graduate by 2027.

If been paying on my plan for several years now and have never been late. Was contacted at least two different times about how great it was that I had never missed a payment and they were going to roll it into a new account so it would end sooner. Both times they asked many questions and told me they were going to get back to me. Neither time did anyone contact me. And I then find out that I'm not qualified to. After they keep contacting me.

Not at all happy about communication and lack of communication. Getting someone to respond to email and someone to call you is impossible. Not sure why it is taking so long to settle my last account with you guys. I have tried several times to get a call back with no success. I have received a loan to complete my account and still my last account has not been settled.

We are getting closer to being debt free that will be a great relief. I would tell everyone to use Freedom Debt Relief. When I signed up with Lisa **, I specifically asked her about my monthly draw and stated that I kept on having National Debt Relief want to raise my amount for the draws and she said that wouldn't happen with FDR. Well, it's already started and I can only imagine it's going to keep happening. I wish there was honesty from the get go but I am worried the experience here will be no different that NDR.

Everyone has been very nice. The only issue I've had was a couple representatives telling me something different when it came to FDR needing documents, some said screen shots were ok, others told me that I had to download the documents, and one told me to email them in. The last customer service rep I spoke, name was Chis and he was awesome.

Please listen. File bankruptcy before agreeing to any debt program. The concept is great if you’re an honest person. But 20% savings is more like it. With the fees they charge and drag out your settlements to charge you more. My last settlement was settled for MORE than I enrolled in the program after it had 1K added to the debt by the company. Which is the same for any settlement over 1K. Some of the customer service reps were nice. Others were very rude.

After the phone is answered, I’m usually talking to someone. Their nice customer service representatives are nice and communicative, and understand what you are trying to say. The questions I’ve had so far have been answered, either by telephone call or email within 1-2 days. I would suggest this company to a friend. I have authorized 2 settlements already.

I totally recommend Freedom Debt Relief because I couldn’t do it myself. They helped me manage my debt. Helped me make a budget and helped me make a plan for my saving, spending and now I’m free of debt. Customer service and all the representatives are so helpful and understanding. Thanks FDR.

I have called and asked FDR to connect with NetCredit regarding the Net credit settlement and Net credit says that FDR still has not contacted them. I am still receiving phone calls from Net credit saying I owe them money and it appears as if it's resolved on the FDR page.

Updated on 01/07/2026: The relief is in the form of worry free debt management service. Of course with consistent payments for two years now FDR has performed beyond expectations. I am glad to say I would recommend FDR. I had more than 100k in credit card debt, FDR has in two years resolved 75% of that debt negotiating payments totaling 50-75% less.

Would prefer to have some flexibility for payment schedule to account for occasional cash shortage, especially given that my only income is social security, which is fixed. I have been told, however, missing a payment would void my agreement, even if I made up the shortfall over the next 6 to 12 payments.

Thanks for helping me for all my credit cards, dealing with the banks. Answer all my question, explain for me clearly to understand. I just had my money in my bank, at due date they withdrew. I’m happy, nothing to worry. Before every week I’m worried money not enough even with the credit card required. Again thanks for helping me.

Some of these settlements I feel should be lower since I got the loan. It's like you don't fight hard enough for losing just settling. Would like to see a better job working on deals. Would feel just because a lump sum is there you would still push for lowered debt relief.

From my experience I would say the program is excellent. It has done everything as promised and actually going a little faster than I expected! I have uploaded documents with ease and added more debtors to my account. The debtors hounding me the most are the ones settled first. Five stars!

I was so happy with my first time experience. The representatives were so kind and patient listening to all my worries and needs. I felt very comfortable in asking questions as well.
