My experience with Freedom has been a wonderful experience. I believe they’ve done a great job helping me to resolve my debt, working with me when I needed help. During this hard time that we’re going through in the world these days they’ve actually help me a lot taken a lot of stress off my shoulders. When I first joined I was kind of leery about doing it though because I’ve heard so many bad things about it but I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Freedom and I totally appreciate all the help that I’ve gotten from everyone.

Wanted explanation on how I can finish program sooner. How much money is needed if I can make a lump sum deposit. What percentage does chase you usually accept. How low do you start and if they settle for lower amount do I get a refund.

I've been with Freedom for a while and they did a good job. All of the reps were very courteous and very on-task. I didn't have to work with the real collectors and that was less stress for me. The only problem I had was the program took a long time but that was part of the process. I had so many debts so it took a while to resolve all of them. I would highly recommend Freedom.

The person that helped me get started was great, but the company did not stop the 1st automatic payment from my top creditor, so I had a lot of money taken out today, and today was not a good day for that. I sent the email letter to my creditors to stop automatic payments and it did not stop the payment from my top creditor was deducted out of my account this morning.

Customer service agent was fantastic. She helped me with the issue I had without any problems. I am in the midst of a legal action with one of the creditors and am not able to accept any other settlements. She made a note that the settlement was a deny but made sure it was shown due to the legal action I am in so it wouldn't go against me for the decline.

Customer service has been super helpful. They were always quick to get through to me by email for the settlements. And when I had to call them, they were a bit of fun and patience. I had one collection that went to court and they took care of it. I have a substantial amount of credit card debt. It took a year until something really started to go down. I'm supposed to be done in two years so I let go of a total of five years. Freedom cut off a lot of what I owed. That's the biggest reason that people should use them.

This has been a very stressful time for me. I was out of work for several months and couldn’t make my payments plus late fees. I made the decision to refi mortgage and join Freedom to consolidate, by building a “bank” so to speak, then freedom negotiates and pays debt off. I’m at $200 but may raise soon to lessen time line. So far I am very pleased. It took 6 months for the first account to be negotiated. By 9 months 3 accounts were negotiated and now there are just 2 accounts left. The only bad part is each creditor calls once a week asking for payment.

Not a fan of the dashboard. Prefer to authorize settlements by phone or text ID number. I find dashboard very confusing and I had an incident that raised my monthly deduction without my authorization.

Updated on 8/10/2022: FDR is great at solving debts, I only wish that it was a faster process. Other than that, I’m glad to see my debts being taken care of. Also, I wish there was an easier process for submitting collection notices to your account.

2. I had no idea there would be monthly Fees.

4. Very slow negotiating that is just piling up more debt the longer it takes.

Doing ok, sad to see my credit score going into the dumpster, the one credit card I kept with my local bank they keep lowering my credit limit, it is now down to 500.00 from 2300.00, will be so glad when this process is concluded.

I was living month to month. I just couldn't make it and I started filing bankruptcy, which I didn't want to do because I always paid my bills and was proud to do what I'm supposed to do and what I was brought up to do. Freedom was at the right place at the right time. I talked with a lady who was super. She was very nice and cordial and helped me out tremendously. I signed up with Freedom and I've had a good response from customer service. They had very good information and they tell me I straight up what the deal is, whether it's good or bad.
I've recommended Freedom to several of my friends and people I've run into that needed it because they helped me tremendously in getting out of debt. That was 30,000 plus of debt which was ridiculous. I've had good service. It's just the program is just taking longer than what was told. But I understand things change. Great experience. Only make sure you agree to amount you can manage. With my experience hard to lower payment amount. Had 3 accounts combined along of debt, Freedom took care of 1 at a time. As Freedom succeeded to eliminate one at a time the monthly cost was the same even if only 1 left.

Updated on 12/23/2021: I am OK with negotiations FDR has made. But earlier this year 1 debt slipped out to collection agency. It was in freedom, but no one would talk to me. I negotiated myself which was not good. I know FDR could have done better
Original Review: I ran into a problem where I could not make all my payments because I retired thinking that Social Security would be good. It's not. I was looking for some ways to do my payments. Freedom Debt Relief was a better alternative to bankruptcy. The representatives were wonderful to talk to and they told me that in four years, I could pay my bills and they would take care of it for me. All I have to do is make my deposits. Instead of a whole lot of money going out, I make two payments a month then they take those payments. They negotiate with the creditors and they work out the system to pay.
So far, they have been very successful in resolving several debts and there are still a couple in process. I got a letter from one creditor and I mailed a note giving them Freedom Debt Relief’s phone number so they can contact them. Freedom is seems to take their job very seriously. Having worked out a payment plan has taken off the stress of how I’m gonna pay this bill and that bill. They let me know about negotiations and what they did. And if I want to increase my payments, I can do so. That way, they would be able to pay more.
I have talked to several people who are in the position that I was in and don't wanna file bankruptcy. I told them that Freedom is remarkable and they can ease your mind when you first start talking with them. They stay in close contact with you updating you on everything that's going on. I can go to the dashboard online and see everything that's been done like all my bills. Freedom has a really wonderful system and I really like it.

Original Review: Had I started few years ago, I would have settled all my debts earlier. It is wonderful to know Freedom Debt Relief Program that help me to ease my burden. I am aware that my credit scores go down. As a result my gas card closed my account and Home Depot decreased my credit limit. What is important is to make sure that you have available amount when they do automatic payment everytime they took the amount. Hopefully, I will finish this in designated date.

I was told that my graduation date would be December 2022. That was going to be perfect because I was planning to retire January 2023. So I agreed to let Freedom Debt help me get out of debt. But after freedom debt sucked me in, they changed my graduation date to December 2025. If I would have known that you lied to me, I would have gone with someone else.

I started in Dec 2019 to consolidate my debt. It took over 6 months for anything to start with negotiations. The late fees added up and made the debt more then oringalm recently i got served court documents and am being sued by 2 companies and the only help they offer is for me to pay more for the legal group to fight it and settle in court for me. I had a filing fee of 225 and i am paying an extra 75 a month to try and get it paid off. So i do really see what the company does for you. I have asked for a reason but the answer is always it just takes time. While time is money and its costing me more now.

I truly thought I would get better deals. I wish now I went bankrupt. $1000 off the $6000 bill or so, not cut it for me. I probably could meet the deal myself. I understand that’s probably the best they could do for me. But I thought and making the first deal. It would’ve been better. But it is what it is now. My dad was a customer of Freedom Debt Relief and he recommended it. The rep answered all of my questions and helped me set up my account smoothly. I feel like I've received good service. However, I've been with Freedom Debt Relief going on three years now. I haven't seen much change in my debt resolution and changes with regard to my credit score. Inquire to see if FDR will be something that you will be interested in, as far as consolidating a debt and getting your credit card payments down. I also encourage you to look into other options and see if some of the resolutions can be solved by themselves.

Freedom Debt Relief provides everything. Whenever I needed, I called them and asked them questions. And they answered them very good. Every time I called, and even the person that was assigned to me, they answered right away. And they answered all my doubts. The only thing is when the people that I owe call me, I have to tell them. They should call the people that I owe and let them know that I'm in their program, so that way they won't bother me anymore. Go ahead and do it with FDR. I don't trust the other ones because I heard that they don't do anything and they take your money. On the other hand, these people really work with you.

I was going through a financial situation and it was hard for me to do it myself. I reached out to see how Freedom Debt Relief operated and I liked it because they would be taking money out every two weeks and then them speaking with the creditors themselves instead of me having to reach out to the creditors. Their reps provide good information and enough information. Even when I call, I don't wait that long to speak to a representative, which is amazing. They also have a chat on their website and they're quick with responses and very detailed when asking them for information also on the chat. Whenever you don't understand something, they try their best to explain how everything works and they keep you updated. I also get a lot of emails too regarding what steps to take and what to do to build my credit.

I think the cash loan accounts could be negotiated much much lower. I paid extra once on 5th and you kept taking money out on 5th but I get paid 10 and 25th so you kept overdrafting my account for 35 dollars. Not too bright. It is nice to finally try to pay debts.

When I sold my house, I didn't get part of what I actually wanted to get so I still had some outstanding bills. Being on just Social Security, it was gonna be hard for me to make all the payments so I called Freedom Debt Relief to see what they could do for me. I was pretty comfortable with their rep. They have a lot of information on the phone. If you have a question, they'll answer it for you. I've kept my payment plan like it's been now for a couple years. I'm paying on three of them out of the five that I have. It has been tough but when you only make so much money, you can only afford so much. Working with Freedom has made it easier for us to live, my wife and I. We don't have to worry about putting out $1,800 versus 900 that we do now.

We were paying $600 a month for our debt obligations. Working with Freedom brought it down to about half that. But, it takes a long time to get settlements. It's been two years and more than half the debt is still there. Other than that, FDR works great and it's doing everything we asked them to.
