This is a great company! They did as they said they were going to do. Every time I've had a question it got answered by friendly employees. The only thing I have a problem with is the dashboard. Every time I try to go into it, I have to go through the process of resetting my password.

Most of the companies that I talked to would talk a good game up to a certain point, and then they all would be, “We can’t do that. No. No. We can’t do that.” And when I got in touch with Freedom, the rep said, “We can do that. We can do that.” So, that was an easy choice. However, every time since it all has gone over to the loan thing, I’ve tried getting on that site and it kept telling me there’s an error. I tried calling them and I got this thing that says, “Everybody’s busy right now. Why don’t you try calling when we’re not so busy?” But then, they don’t say what times they're usually open. I’ve tried morning, around noon there, and early evening before I figured they would be closed. I got the same thing every time. But Freedom is never a problem. They text me, send me an email, and then I go to the dashboard, and it was all right there. Also, anytime that I dealt with them, it has been excellent. They’re very helpful.

Freedom Debt Relief has helped me with lots of creditors and their customer service has always been great. I feel comfortable with their payment plan for me and they have been very helpful. I like that I have one payment in a month instead of seven. Being with FDR has been a relief for me.

Updated on 8/26/2020: I had an email that recommended my attention. When I called they fixed the problem right away. I've only been in program 4 months and already have 1 settlement. I'm very happy with the progress I'm receiving. Thanks so much.

I found Freedom Debt Relief after I lost my job, got retired and my debts became too much for me. The consultant I worked with was very professional and helpful. That really encouraged me to join and I went with them. We negotiated an amount and they gave me a payment plan. I like the amount I'm paying so far. It's very affordable and I'm comfortable with it. Going with FDR has been an excellent experience. I'm very happy with them.

Freedom Debt Relief was recommended by my coworker when he was almost done with his consolidation with them. He was raving that it was fast and easy. You just give them your credit cards and they would work it out for you. I’ve been on the program for a year and a half and my ending would approximately be 2022. I have a direct withdrawal for FDR every 20th of the month for $500 and I’ve emailed them a few times. I was trying to lower my payment every month because my hours has been cut. I don't know who to reach. I’ve left messages three times to this guy who helped me gather all the information with my credit cards but it just went straight to voicemail. They left messages but we’ve never had a call back. If he could have called me, I would hear a message from him through voicemail but there was none.
Before, it was easy. If I get a letter, I’ll just have to fax it to the guy and then, he would work on it. I’ve done that three times. I tried to email and I got the same answer. It’s an automated email telling me to try to call a number. But every time I call, nobody’s answering me. So, I don't know if they're cut hours too, which could be why nobody’s picking up the phone. They emailed me saying that it’s gonna prolong my program if I’m gonna lessen my monthly deductions. If I could get it to $400, that would be a help. I don't wanna do it but I’d rather have it long than be short because I have short hours at work. After the monthly deduction, I wasn’t able to get a hold of anybody, so they took out the $500 on the 20th.

Frankly I can't be anymore disappointed than I am right now. After all this time I have come down to the last account, I have 9,000$ sitting in my account, I have a wife out of work due to this Covid-19 crap, you guys keep BSing me about what has to happen to settle this account, I have called the last account holder and they gave the information and I gave it to you, still nothing. You guys apparently are making interest of my money or else you would be jumping at the chance to settle this. I want this settled ASAP and I want the remainder and after waiting this long and going through this much grief that remainder better be a good one. I have pleaded and begged for some solution yet y'all just don't seem to give a damn. Will I recommend you to others..Hell No!

For the greater part excellent. Some question as to if I have to go to court will I have your representation? Does my court cost include your representation fee? This is the only grey area I have. If I get clarification this will help. Will the potential government stimulus create a problem with my progress.

Freedom Debt Relief is good but the settlement and how much they pay is sometimes confusing. Every month, I deposit the amount and they’re charging me. So, I don’t know if they’re taking more out. But their rep said that they were taking a lot of interest. He explained it to me. So, that’s good. I've had one settlement which is not bad but it’s taking so long.

Updated on 07/14/2022: I was able to settle and pay off my debts with the help of the Freedom Debt Relief program in accordance with my ability to pay instead of filing bankruptcy. Gone were my sleepless nights and days being harassed by the debt collectors that I don't want to answer my phone. Thank you "FDR".

The program I’m set up with on Freedom Debt Relief has been a Godsend. My husband became ill and his progression got worse fast and we had medical bills piling up in addition to our normal debt. I made the decision to reach out to a debt consolidation program because I was feeling like there was no end in sight managing these expenses. FDR contacted me right away and got a plan in motion. It does take a little longer if you are only able to contribute a certain amount of money a month but the stress relief it has brought to us is so worth it. The attorney for FDR terminated his services with me 2 days before court for lack of communication which is BS. I called FDR 3 times for help, it's being looked into. I called the opposing attorney myself, he's not had any communication from FDR. Court date moved to July 29th. I need to get this resolved before court date.

Don't ask questions of suspicious of your accounts, you get treated rude. I think as a paying customer I should know who, what, when and where my hard earned money is going. Also, when I don't like a settlement I should have the option to deny it.

The initial timeframe I was given has stretched years past. If you do the math, with the fees they charge, I will have paid back every single dollar I owed when I signed up. I saved nothing but interest and I could have saved that by negotiating with my creditors directly. I couldn’t be more angry with myself for doing business with FDR. You are better off negotiating directly with your creditors and saving yourself thousands of dollars in FDR fees!

The progress has been okay but right now, it kind of sucks because there's nothing I can do. Before, I was working and I was able to make the payments. Now, I'm in a special situation and it doesn’t seem like anybody wants to help. I'm out of work because of the COVID and everything I make right now, like in appointments, has to go to Freedom Debt Relief. So I really can't pay anything else and FDR hasn't been able to help me in that form. It's clear-cut for everybody to just say that I owe them then it's like, “Okay. I'm just gonna give you everything I have.” I don’t even know how long we're gonna be able to receive an appointment. Once that stops, then I'm totally screwed.
I'm also worried about last month. I knew I was gonna be late on an initial payment and I told them I was gonna be late. I had just gotten laid off when COVID was just happening and. I didn’t have money and an appointment hadn't kicked in yet. As soon that kicked in and I got my final check from one of my jobs, I was able to put it towards Freedom Debt Relief. That money went in but because I missed that one payment, one of the companies I'm supposed to be paying back went back into renegotiations. That $1,200 is not accounted for though. I don't know what Freedom did with that.

I was very pleased with the timely manner in which my debts were resolved. Also the way the legal issues were resolved. My only complaint is that I now am indebted to your sister company (Consolidated Plus) for 4 more years at a very high interest rate. It took several phone calls to get someone to answer as a if a fax had been received. Finally getting to speak with an agent, and then the fax had not been posted. Hoping when I call back, it will be a different story.

The customer service rep I believe his name was Deidrick was one of the nastiest, most argumentative persons I have ever encountered. He could not answer questions and was more like a debt collector, practically bullying me. All other reps I had over the years have been wonderful but this man needs a reprimand or retraining.

I am pleased with the overall result of the experience. I entered the program with 9 debt accounts and completed the program earlier than anticipated. I proceeded to resolve one account through the program because it was litigated then worked with my creditors for the other 8 accounts to make settlement arrangements. As of May 2020, I will have eliminated 100% of approximately $50K in debt. Grateful to be debt free and learned a lot about managing my expenses and credit card purchases.

Ronnie just left me hanging for over a hour on hold. He did nothing we talked about. Kept blaming supervisors for the wait. It is almost impossible to speak to a representative. They also sent me a settlement offer, know that I already had a lawsuit settlement in place. This caused my funds for the lawsuit to be used and is costing me more money out of pocket. They knew the money in my account was already spoken for and pushed another settlement ahead of it

I developed congestive heart failure. I’m in my 60s and I knew that I was not going to have the luxury of time to pay off my debt. Also, I don't believe in bankruptcy. I believe that if you're charged something, you’re committed to paying it. So, I looked at being able to pay off the most I could. I called Freedom Debt Relief and I spent an hour on the phone, going over different options with me, going through all my bills and how long it would take, and how much it would cost. They were very transparent and told me about how much they would be able to reduce the amount. And so far, they’ve been spot-on. They’ve been able to reduce the debt down significantly.
I’ve been with Freedom for two and a half years now, and each time that I had questions, I called them. They're available and they don't seem to be irritated or trying to get off the phone as quickly as they could. They take the time to process it through with me. They make very good notes in reference to my account. When I call them, they know exactly what’s going on and I don't have to reinvent the wheel.
The first settlement that I got was only about three months after I started. There was another one about six months later. And then, I had a couple that came together in the fall. And right now, I have two left. I wish they could show a progression on their dashboard. If you raised your contribution this amount, it would pay your bills off in this amount of time, which is your projected graduation date. Because I’ve increased mine, but each time, I called them and had to ask them how much earlier am I going to be able to resolve this if I bump it up. If they had a kind of a graph that says, “Hey, if you bump it up $50…” I know everybody’s different but it would be nice if you just had a guesstimate.

All credit card balances are being negotiated to come to an alternative payment plan. X amount of $ is pd/withdrawn monthly to pay these negotiated amounts. Ultimately, in a predictably and accurately planned amount of time these debts are paid. These precessions causes a low credit rating for a long period of time and limits one's ability to get credit or loans of any kind.

Customer service agents are very kind, but I am disappointed in the fact that each month I have to call about lowering my monthly payments. I am sure you can appreciate at this time it is very difficult with finances. I wish that the monthly payment I requested could just roll over without me having to call each month.

The consultants are helpful. Every time I had a question, they helped me out so I'm happy with it. My credit score is going up a little bit more now and in terms of progress, Freedom Debt Relief sends me emails. But I don’t know how to do anything about the dashboard so I just wait until they send me texts, regarding going ahead and accepting what they're doing and I accept. I'd rather talk to them in person compared to using the dashboard.
$243 is automatically deducted from my checking and I was about to call them because I know it's every 30th of the month. With these times that are going right now, it's gonna be hard for me to give that payment. I don't know if they're still gonna take it or not, and if I'm gonna be negative or are they gonna go ahead and let me skip a month then just add a month to my contract. But my daughter-in-law is interested in doing the program too. She ran into debt and she used to work 80 hours but now, she's working 10 to 20 hours. She's very worried of how she's gonna start making her payments so I spoke to her about this.

For over the last 3 months that I have been contacting different FDR representatives which each has been giving the run around and providing broken promises with the intent of continuing to charge me extra fees on a monthly basis. I have provided the necessary funds to pay off my last debt and continue to be charged on a monthly basis extra funds just to cover extra fees of FDR. This is after I have pay them an average of 40-65% of the negotiated reduction of my debts a total in settlement fees of $10,215.66. It is incredible that after paying over $10K, they are still trying to drain more money from me.
I have contacted the bank to ensure they were willing to receive the early payment. Even with this FDR after 3 months refuses to make the final payment. I feel that this is a simple way of ripping me off after earning over $10K in fees. I hope that someone finally acts accordingly and with the right level of integrity. I was happy at first and didn't care of the high fees but now that I see that they are trying to take advantage of charging even more fees by not settling the final debt... Feeling very disappointed of Freedom Debt Relief program!!! Watch yourself!!!

I received a email from you concerning a settlement and I was confused about the payment made to them. I agreed with your agent to the terms of the settlement but was wondering why a offer which was made some time ago wasn't processed first (Wells Fargo) before this one was paid. I am happy that you settled the larger debt which was a credit union but you did not advise me before you made your decision. In other words, I was not advised if I had a choice of the two outstanding debts.

I've heard from many people and friends, that Freedom Debt Relief is a good company. When I spoke to them, I thought that it was the best option that I have to settle all my credit cards. The rep was very good and very helpful, like any questions I had, I felt comfortable with the answers that he gave me. The payment plan was good. I told them my financial problems that I had, and I told them how much I earn and how much more or less I will be able to pay monthly, so they came up with something that was convenient for me. We’ve been with Freedom Debt Relief for almost two years and we’re down to only three that we need to get negotiated on. We started out with 19 so that’s a good progress. We're very happy. When I call, if the reps don’t know the answer, they find somebody who does. It’s great having the dashboard to look at. I'm always getting my advisories but I always go there because if there's a notification, you don't know unless you check every day. I'm always disappointed if my computer goes down and I have to hurry up and find somebody to get it going so that I can get back in there.
There is only one thing that bothers me. Our money is always there on the 15th of every month and I don't like the idea it can be 72 hours before I see that my money is in that account on Freedom Debt. I wish they could do that a little quicker because the money is there waiting for you. They told me they look at the accounts once a week. With some people, you have to make sure their money is there and that was one thing that we were very adamant about that. We make sure that money is in there because we want something done. Within 24 hours, it should show up on my dashboard but a lot of times, it doesn't. Right now, I understand. I'm sure they're shorthanded.

I just found out about the "Monthly Service Fees" and the "Account Setup Fees" that was taken from my Direct Deposit, and quite frankly I'm not happy with this at all. Why didn't anyone tell me there would be fees here as well?

Freedom has been a great experience. I would recommend them to anyone having financial difficulty. They always answer the telephone and are willing to work with any problem you may have. If I receive a collection letter from a debtor I just send a copy via email and I always get a response.

I really liked the little guy, Peter, that signed me up. He was very helpful and explained the program pretty well. I’ve been paying $420 into it every month. It’d be the third year in January. In December, it’ll be my 36th payment. People can explain stuff but to see if it happens like that is another thing. By the end of this year, if I’m cleared of everything, it will be that it’s done exactly what Peter said. I felt pretty good about it so far. My credit score went way down and it has begun to come back up. I’m hitting right at 700 again.

Three of the credit cards you are managing are in collection. I talked with a Representative, she implied that this was my fault .. Not sure how this can be my fault since you are managing the cards...and they were not in collection before you took over management of the cards.

Defer payment due to temporary layoff. Place of business is closed for 2 weeks due to the virus So I am going to receive unemployment but it hasn't started yet. Also when and if we go back April 27th my hours could be reduced. So that is why they are helping with not making the April 24th payment.

I have been a client of FDR for a year now and how they consolidated my debt as well as my husband's together we couldn't be more satisfied with what we have already settled on with numerous debt we didn't even realize was as much as. I was hit by a semi and used my credit cards for paying my bills since I could no longer work. They are friendly and responded quickly to questions being asked. They update me regularly on what is going on with the settlements. Although it’s a slow process to negotiate with the creditors due to lack of funds I was glad I was offered the Consolidation Plus which helped them settled my debt faster.

Negotiates settlement for 50% to 80% of current amount. Banks added over $100 per month in late fees and interest. Lawyers most difficult to settle with. I had one account with the reduction and settlement fees, ended up being only a 10% reduction. My suggestion, give FDR as much money as quickly as you can to avoid lawyers and late fees. Aim for 6 months, not 2 years. You'll get better results.

Updated on 03/11/2021: It seems to be taking a long time to resolve my debt. I am pleased as to what has been resolved to date but am concerned why my other cards are taking so long to resolve. Bank of America cards are issued by my personal bank which has been turned over to Collection. There has been no update by you.

At first I was skeptical but glad that we stuck with it because we are almost completely out of debt and our credit score is on the mend.

I enrolled four accounts in this service. I personally had to settle two of those accounts on my own. After settling the last account on my own after four years, they kept my account open to continue to withdraw fees from my balance, even after providing documentation to move me to graduation. I would not recommend using this company, as I had to do much of the legwork on my own and they took more fees than they should have.

I was in debt and I needed help. I had over $100,000 and loss of incomes. Freedom is pretty easy to work with. There was a time back when I was having some more financial problems or I don't know if they weren’t understanding me or wasn’t communicating, I had a problem trying to tell them that I couldn’t make the original payments I had agreed to because our income dropped a lot, and then a lot of other situations happened and stuff, but I finally spoke to somebody who understood my situation and he helped me. There were some setbacks because I've had more financial problems since I've started. Originally, because I started with them back in 2016, I was supposed to be done around now, 2020. But other than those, it's been pretty good. I'm pretty happy with Freedom.

They are liars. I called when COVID-19 started, asked March 25th 2020 for transactions to be put on hold. The young lady on the phone said not a problem and that no withdrawals will be made for the month of April. April comes around and guess what not only did the withdrawal happen twice, but I was also charged a no sufficient fee charge from my bank. So I got on the chat and the man told me a supervisor had to review the audio and would call me back. Guess what? Never got that call.
Here we are on the 15th and guess who got charged again after contacting. Not only that. When I call to speak to a supervisor, not only did this man want to argue he refused to transfer me which caused me to have to hang up and call back and speak to another supervisor who was very quick to cancel their services. ZERO accountability. Then I'm told prior to any refund they will be taking their fees. Is that even legal???? Especially when I asked them not do withdrawal the funds.

Settlements are being taken care of very efficient. All agents are very knowledgeable, supportive and professional. My only concern is that the settlement s be closed faster and shorter time frames to pay off creditors. Otherwise I am very happy and satisfied.

It's a slow process, I'm actually not sure how to rate my progress with Freedom Debt Relief, I just know that my credit scores took a very hard hit, I went from almost 700 in scores down to 500 scores. I'm hoping that this doesn't have a bad impact on my future purchases,

I am so glad I called the number in the magazine for Freedom Debt Relief. I had been trying to get my debt paid down for years, to no avail. Now, I expect to be out of debt in about 3 years and all for a set amount each month. I am delighted with your program, though it went against every fiber of my being to stop paying on my accounts! I did not want to declare bankruptcy because I felt obligated to pay my debts. At least this way those I owe will be paid. My wife and I have been served with two lawsuits. We got into the FDR program thinking that you or the NLLG would represent us. I found this to be not true. In fact NLLG settled one lawsuit with me still owing $2024.00.

Freedom Debt Relief has done an awesome job for me. There's only one concern. It's the Target deal that keeps getting pushed back. They sent me something from the courthouse – they were gonna sue me – but FDR took care of that. I was wondering when they were going to settle that deal though. That has been going on for three years. They've been sending me things and I send it back but I never hear back from them. Other than that, I really appreciate them for what they've done for me. In the three years I've been with them, I've only got two accounts left to. I'm really pleased with them. I'm amazed with what they've done for me. I really couldn't have done it without them.

The consultants have been nice. If we have questions, they answer them. I have to pay $300 a month for the program in which I give 150 every two weeks. I was okay with that. That’s pretty much all I could afford. It’s been good. I just haven’t been able to pay it right now because of all the stuff going on. It just seems like it’s been taking a while to actually pay stuff off, even though not much money is being deposited in. I’m only about a quarter of the way. I thought it was only gonna take a year and a half or two, but it’s already been going on a year and a half.

I think this way of taking care of my credit cards debts is working out for me although I am not please having the debtors calling and sending all kind of mail. It is slow, but my income is limited. Customer Service people are great. Overall I will recommend this service.
