I’ve been happy with FDR. They want to help you resolve debt. Customer service has been awesome to work with. I’d recommend their service to anyone. The agents don’t belittle you. They are eager to find the best solution to fit your budget. You truly save money with this program. I can finally feel unstrapped making minimum payments to card companies that hardly touch the principal balance. You’re pretty much just paying interest charges.

I was happy when Freedom Debt reach out to me the 1st time. I was kind of skeptical but then after thinking it over I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. I was able to resolve my credit debts much quicker. Now the reason I only rated them as a 4 star is because of the customer service. It would be nice if someone would reach out to you every couple of months to let you know how you are doing on the program just to give it a more personal touch.

I kinda did a little homework and reached out to several companies. Freedom had the best offer. One or two of my co-workers went through Freedom also and they told me that they were fantastic. Freedom gave me the lower rating and everything as far as having to pay it back over time. Michael was my service rep and he was superb. He told me anything that I didn't understand and when I needed to clarify I called him back and he would walk me through it. He would help me. Freedom sent me a review on the phone when I first started and I spoke very highly of the gentleman that helped me because he was really very patient with me and listened to everything. I had a million questions and he answered everything. He didn't speed through anything. He gave me time to think about what I wanted to do.

I have always been able to pay my creditors, but % rate was getting high and I didn't want to waste that money. So, I looked into FDR and was pleasantly surprised of the service and fees charged. Although I knew my credit would take a hit, but short term and better than paying into the interest. Thank you FDR!

Although, the coronavirus COV19 has created a setback / interrupted my original schedule for a payoff of existing debt. Freedom has supported my goals of getting debt free and continuing to negotiate creditor and apply funds to accounts which can be paid and resolved. Thank you, Freedom Debt Relief.

They were helpful. They were pretty prompt when I had questions or emails. I felt pretty comfortable with them. Most of the time, we contacted through emails. They helped me consolidate my credit debt so that I could get that taken care of. I felt comfortable with how they did things. I sent them my stuff and they came up with the payment plan and asked if that was okay. They walked me step-by-step through it and we figured it out. They send me things every now and then, letting me know when a consumer will take a certain amount from my debt and they ask me if that's okay and I agree to it.

Has been a help to resolve my debt. The online communication is very helpful. The dashboard helps see your progress. Thanks for your help in these matters. This process has been easy to execute from the start. Thanks again for all the guidance.

The rep on the phone was helpful. I am so extremely disappointed that I worked very hard to pay off my debt faster to find out from the rep that they had reached out to pay my final debt in full 13 months ahead of schedule. (And you guys STILL took out another payment) The communication with FDR has been horrible- I have to call to initiate EVERYTHING and get updates. Multiple ball drops. Very discouraging but happy I will no longer need your services!!!!

I saw Freedom Debt Relief on Facebook and then from there I had to call someone. They made an agreement to help me out regarding my debt. I should be finished by now but it seems like there’s a problem regarding my debt, so I’m still paying. But the enrollment was a smooth experience. It makes me comfortable knowing that I was helped and they were concerned about what was going on. They put all in the details and what I need to know. I asked questions, they answered it in the right manner and I’m truly satisfied with what was going on. The program helped me to buy time because if I would pay those debts one by one, I would not have enough months to pay for it. By consolidating all my debts, made into one, I can concentrate and focus on one thing. I like that Freedom helps. It just takes a long time to get the creditors to agree on payments but I wish I could but more in to it. The always have time to talk to you if you have a problem. I thank them for all of their help and hard work.

Even though I provided all the information to you all. Because it takes long to process. Some of the accounts are on collection status. The credit card company didn’t care I set up with you all. This is discouraging. I know my credit score will take a major hit for some time. But I was not expecting to see collections and receiving those calls on something I was trying to take care of. This would not be the case if I just continued to pay them myself. Yes it would take longer. And I would pay more. But the overall effect would not be like this. While I won’t get in the same situation again. I will also talk to people before they use the service. I believe they can negotiate with the companies and get similar results.

So far things are going great. The person who I had as contact has not been in the office the few times I've tried to reach him but with all this coronavirus stuff just assumed he had been furloughed or something.

Freedom Debt Relief will help you out of a bind if you're financially stressed or something to that nature. I enrolled in their debt consolidation program and I had a good experience. They were very knowledgeable and they kept me informed and up-to-date with what was going on. And whenever I had a question or I was in doubt of anything, I called and they resolved my issues in a timely fashion. Every time I've called Freedom Debt Relief, they have been awesome. If I get a letter in the mail from a creditor, I would call and ask what I should do with it. I've been with Freedom Debt Relief since 2018 and over the years, I've sent them faxes and now, I would just take pictures, upload and send those to them, and every time I do, within 24 hours, I get an email from them saying they’ve received everything. So I at least know it went through and someone got it. It’s great.

I was working with Sean and he was fabulous. I got a sense of honesty from him. One of the competitors gave me so much crap on the phone and it didn't make sense. He thought I was an idiot. But Sean was very honest and helped me get started. He did such a great job at the beginning that I didn't have any questions. I had two things just pop up in between and I contacted Freedom. Whatever I called for assistance, they helped me out.

I have been with Freedom Debt Relief since 12/18. I had 8 accounts that I needed relief help. Since then they have resolved 2 accounts, I am in structured settlements with 3 others and I have 2 more to go. I will be finished by the promised date they gave me or be very close. Great company, they keep you informed and update you on your accounts and they provide great results. I am very pleased and would recommend to anyone in need of debt relief assistance. So far everything is working out so well. Soon I’ll be debt free and credit scores will get back in shape. My credit score is slowly increasing every week and in no time. Hopefully it will be better than before.

The service is great but service fee should be lower. Because of the fees clients end up with paying around 70 to 75% of their total debt which is still great. Great customer service and they help you whenever you needs them or needs to understand anything.

I always felt left in the dark on what was going on with my accounts. I always had to reach out to Freedom Debt to get answers and the answers that I received were of little help. One account settled for 10,000.00 and the balance was 12,000.00. After Freedom Debt added their fee it came out to more than the account balance. I feel this could have been avoided if Freedom Debt would addressed the account when I received a letter from a Law Firm. Freedom Debt told me it just a tactic that Creditors use. At one time when asking about the account I was told the Law Firm was not answering and I was told I could try calling myself. The outcome was the same when I called but if Freedom Debt Does this for a living they must have some other resource to get answers. Would I recommend this company to anyone else, the answer would be no.

I was so grateful that Customer Service was available on a Sunday morning to help me. The rep was friendly and most helpful. She relieved my fears that contact from a collection company was going to be troublesome. She recommended that I send a screenshot of the text I received from the collection company so FDR could have it on file and proceed with negotiating that debt. She assured me this collection contact would not affect the progress of my settlements. As a matter of fact, she assured me it would likely speed things. Thank you, Customer Support being available seven days a week!

We are really happy with FDR for helping us resolve some of our debt. It's given us some breathing room to take care of other bills. The company stayed in touch with and kept us informed on each step of the process.

Freedom Debt has been doing a great helping me get my credit back on track and I would tell my family and friends about them. I got out the program the first time and I took me back with no hesitation. And the first time I got out they sent my money back no question asked.

I had a really good consolidation with a company and then I messed up and used all my credit cards again. I was trying to figure out how to get my finances in order and one of my friends told me she used Freedom Debt. I did my research and read their reviews. Then I applied for it online and then within an hour, someone called me back and they gave me an estimate of what my monthly payments would be.

The representative really walked me through everything and was so wonderful. I had googled some stuff and was just checking around on different people but when I talked to him, he sold me on going with Freedom Debt Relief. The payment plan was wonderful too. It was something I could deal with.

I am very grateful for how Freedom Debt Relief has reduced my debt and afforded me the opportunity to get rid of debt once and for all. My issue is the negotiation process with creditors. When you let the representative know that you have a fixed budget, and you cannot exceed your contribution until one of the bills is eliminated is not taken into consideration. I wish I had negotiated with the creditors.

I misunderstood the % that you all would take on the settlement. I was shocked you took 40% of the initial amount, I thought it was from the settlement amount. Also was not aware, until after the fact, that the companies could report the loss to IRS. This increased my wages by $7,000.00. Now I owe the IRS $1800.00. So now not only has my credit score been affected, I have to come up with money for the IRS. So I have mixed emotions. My stress level is back to high and I still owe you all lots of money + interest at the same rate as a credit card. I am afraid to look at my dashboard because it causes me anxiety. So needless to say. I will be glad when it is over and at this point I am not sure of that.

It was a great experience to have help with my debt. But as time went by I found myself desperate to get my debt over with. So I double my payment hopefully to finish earlier. Just thank you for being with me when I needed help.

The people at Freedom Debt Relief are very nice. There was a lot of information and they told me how it would go. So I signed up with them and I'm very satisfied. Every time I called them, they had very good answers and solutions to any questions that I had. The only thing is that I had paid the extra $16 a month to have the attorneys help me out if the creditors would take me to court and that didn’t go far enough. The attorneys were there and they handled that situation but when we got right down to the finals, where the attorneys were needed for me to close, they said they would only go to that point. It wasn't quite finished though. It was like getting to the 90-yard line. But they eventually worked through it and everything was fine. Also, in all of the times that my account went into a court, Freedom Debt Relief got the answers to the creditors, who accepted those answers, the solutions and the payments. So it went smooth in that way.

My debt was settled with little savings to me. And isn't worth the damage done to my credit score. The implied savings were nowhere near the actual savings. And then when I agreed to the loan to help make settlement go quicker there seemed to be less effort to reduce the debt, but to just pay close to actual debt.

I went with FDR because of their ratings. I check my dashboard every now and then and it seems to be going along okay. It’s easy to use and it shows me what I want to know.

I had a very good initial interaction with Freedom. They were quite informative and told me what I had to do and everything has been taken care of. I'm gonna be at it for a long time, so that’s the way it goes. I’m on Social Security and my payment is taking about 50% of it, which isn’t much. I was furloughed from my job and then American Express sued me so they’re getting the large portion of what’s been taken out of my Social Security. The process with Freedom was fairly easy. They were very informative and knowledgeable. They got me some help with the lawsuit. They’ve been really great.

So far so good. Excellent phone service. Leo Leon was most helpful. Just waiting for the result after my first deposit. Hopefully the resulting debt reduction will be acceptable. So far the promise was somewhere between 50-40% off the original debt total.

First of all, when I called Freedom Debt Relief, I didn’t know they were gonna do the nine accounts, ‘cause they could have just not taken one of them which was the smallest amount, but they did. It didn’t have Freedom with that one. It could have just been eight but so they made it nine. But looking at what they did and how they combined it was okay. Then the more money I put into the account, the sooner I could have enough to negotiate settlements. When they interacted with the sister company and when we got into the discussion, I said to go with it, it started even sooner. The thing about losing credit score and building it back up works for me.

I started the program with Freedom Debt Relief last May. They had very positive feedback versus some of the other ones. Also, my cousin was using them and she was very happy with the service they had provided with her. They evaluated my debts and provided me with information on how they could help me and they started negotiating with the people that I had a debt with. As of now, I've started with seven and most of them are in repayment except for one, which is also the last one. Then I was told that one of the companies didn’t wanna pursue anymore. So, one got dismissed.

Everybody has always been so courteous. They’ve been very helpful when I ask them to adjust the payment for me if I couldn’t make it for that month. They always listen to me when I call with an issue. They always guide me, and if I have to send something in, they always call me and make sure they taught me how to send it in. When I set up the payment, I was working full-time and I was making money. But now I’m not working so I’ve been asking them to lower the payment and they can’t do it. They told me that I have to call them every month to tell them how much I could pay.

I looked up the reviews of some people that had already used the service and I decided to go with Freedom Debt Relief because I had a good feeling about what people have said about them. The people I worked with at FDR have been very friendly and understanding. I've always been able to get my questions answered. The only thing is that they should explain a little bit more thoroughly how the process works if a person prepays or wants to pay off their debt consolidation sooner. You’d think it's like paying off a regular credit card type debt where if you deposit a lot of money, it'll happen right away. But it doesn't necessarily go like that and I found that out.

This service is good, as I never heard until later that anyone else was doing this work. There are a few items that they should have explained, beforehand, about the possible tax liabilities associated with going through with this program.

I have only done one payment. Still a long road. I heard as we move on hopefully things will start to get saves. It will take month. Hopefully one account at a time. My 2nd payment is this week. I'll have wait till December for the 1St account to be paid.

Freedom Debt Relief has been very helpful. They were one of the top negotiators in the country. Signing up with them was pretty much up front. They explained well what I should expect about going into the program and what I should do so I was pretty much aware of what I was going into. I have a lot of the accounts settled and I only have only three more. Freedom has been doing a great job working on my affordability of making those monthly payments and being able to settle.

Freedom Debt Relief is a life-saver for giving me and my husband a solution to our debt problems. We trust FDR, Crossroads Financial, and National Litigation. All 3 manage our debt solutions adeptly. 2 debts are being taken care of due to lawsuits.

A friend explained about Freedom Debt Relief. He was already involved with them. I took a look and read some reviews then I chose the company and everything has been perfect. If you look at the numbers a year ago and the numbers now, there’s a big difference. The payment plan was excellent. It couldn’t be better than that in order to satisfy both things – the credit cards and to speed up debt. I’m pretty satisfied with Freedom Debt Relief. But if I could change something, I would probably speed up the payment a little bit when you have more money. I have five accounts now but I already have plenty of money on the account to get away from two more. One would be paid off this month. The last payment would be in 10 days and I would end up with only two. So mentally, it’s a good thing. I started with seven and now, I only have two just in a year.

Everything is fine with Freedom Debt. The only issue that I had, and I'm sure it probably was discussed in the beginning, was I didn't realize how much Freedom Debt would get. The money that I had accumulated in the account was almost $1,000. After they settled that for Discover, the fee that Freedom Debt charged was $800 so I was back at zero. I thought I was still gonna be able to have that money in there, pay Discover, and still have some money building up in the account, but Freedom Debt took all of that money. Discover sued me which I was told of upfront.

I couldn't be happier with the exceptional service Freedom provides. One way or another, we all get into this situation because of bad choices. Not only did Freedom not make me feel shamed for the mistakes I made, they helped me get on the path to using credit wisely. I would highly recommend taking advantage of all the services they offer, and following the tips they send through email. I gradually starting adding some credit back in my name towards the last year of my graduation date, and by the time I graduated, I was able to secure a car loan with a really good interest rate. Updated on 01/28/2022: Freedom projected all my enrolled debt would be negotiated by three years and did it - saving me the interest I would have paid on that debt minus their reasonable fees. I am happy with this result and would recommend Freedom to others. Good job!

2 concerns: I received a letter which was sent to an address I resided 5 years ago and was being transferred to 6 people within 2 weeks which no one still did not help. I thought the amount is given to lender to pay off not kept for freedom fees. Confused????

I have had questions in the past and have emailed to our contact advisor Eric **, I have emailed people listed on received emails, I have called on the telephone to ask questions and all to no avail. Left messages, nothing. I replied to an email about making an extra payment to save 10% and it said accepted and will be applied. On the dashboard nothing appeared, no money exchanged, nothing was done and still hasn't been. My account is current and up to date and they have continued paying debts and other items.

I've been with Freedom Debt Relief for three or four years and I should be about done. The Better Business Bureau report led me to choosing them. Everybody was considerate. I didn’t feel bad. When I first started out, I was in tears sometimes when I call, and they were very helpful. I like not having to worry and things getting taken care of by Freedom. It's top-notch quality service. I’ve told several people about them.

The FDR represent was extremely helpful. He explained everything clearly. The representative was very professional and took the time I needed to make sure I understand the process and the dates for the withdrawals. Overall I had a great experience.

I was searching for debt relief things on Credit Karma and filled out a survey on their website. I then went with somebody else, but they called me and said that I may be better off going with FDR. The FDR rep was perfect. He was so nice and understanding. At that time, I was really stressed and didn’t know what to do. And he kinda talked me down and told me that everything was gonna be okay. He made me feel comfortable, which was why I decided to go with him. Freedom Debt Relief is doing a good job. They have helped me out. It took them about a month to close one and I was pretty satisfied with the time frame. Right now, they’re working on two others. And I use the dashboard constantly just to check on things and see how my status is.

The reps from Freedom Debt Relief are very professional, polite and punctual. They know pretty much what they’re talking about and if they don’t have any answers right there, they’ll put you on a brief hold and they’ll get answers for you right away. The issues are resolved there on the spot. The program I have with them is for credit card debt and a personal loan. I get emails to let me know where I'm at with the program all the time. Right now, we’re trying to negotiate on my last creditor. I hope they will come to a resolution and then we’ll be able to solve it. We went to a collecting agency twice and the last collecting agency that has the debt was really not negotiating with the amount that they wanted to settle for.

I was expecting this to be done sooner, but it took a little bit of time when they had started doing all the deals. I wasn’t expecting that. But other than that, it’s okay. I talked to another company before and it was exactly the same thing but I didn't wanna do it. Then one day, FDR called me and I know it was not gonna be easy for me to get out of bad debt without some kinda help so I decided to do the program. It was the fastest way to get out of my debt. But the interest rate is a little high. The percentage that they're charging was real high too. Let’s say I owe 2,000 to a certain company and they bring it down to 50%. If I gotta pay 1,000, then I gotta pay them with like 400. So I didn't save much. I know I have savings in the long run, but I don’t feel like I saved a lot. So I might wait a little bit to bring my points up a little bit and maybe apply for another loan with a lower interest rate.

I looked around online for a couple weeks and called and talked to a couple different places, and Freedom sounded like they had the best option for the problems I had. There was a whole lot of paperwork to go through and read through. We did everything online and it went pretty quick. The customer service had been fine and they’ve been doing a good job. They’re still working on the accounts. A couple of the accounts have been resolved, and there’s one or two more that are still in negotiations. Overall, I’m pretty well satisfied so far. It’s going pretty well. It's straightforward and they are doing what they said they were gonna do.

I wanted to find out what amount I needed to pay off my debt. The customer service representative very very helpful and went out of his way to find the most accurate information possible. He was polite and professional and very empathetic.

I spoke with "Scott" about my Target account, that has remained inactive since I enrolled in the program (2 years!). It is the last account that needs to be settled and there was action needed. He stayed on the phone with me until we got things resolved, and assured me that I would "graduate" from the program by year end. Very patient and professional.

I reached out to customer service this week and was promised a call back by the agent. I still have not heard back. I'm actually very disappointed with FDR at this time. I called to stop auto payments since I am not currently working, the agent only put that for April. There was a lot going on and then my payments started to get withdrawn again while I was under the impression since I had called they were stopped until further notice. You withdrew my bank account because I made a payment then you took a payment. $90 in overdraft fees and like I said the agent was to call me back the same day and that was 3 days ago.

Freedom Debt Relief was advertised and when I called them, I liked the person I talked to. I told them about the experience I had with another company and that I was not very happy. They told me their procedure and explained everything. I also told them the situation I was in and they accepted it. They said, "We are gonna follow it from here." And after that, they did. I don't have my order number. I would like for someone to reach out to Vive for the HCCCREDIT.COM account. They are saying that no one has reached out to them. I advised that there has been contact and due to the number of times they call even into the late hours of the night; I don't answer my phone from them anymore.

To add creditors account to my existing FDR account is such a hassle. Before it didn’t matter if it was in collection or not it would be added. Now it has to be in good standing for it to be considered. Lately I have been having to look into Summons and Finding out account numbers. FDR lately really hasn’t been wanting to research info on accounts.

I first entered this program February of 2019. It started off great, I was getting resolutions and there was a significant change to how I was budgeting my money. Then the settlements slowed down. I started to actually take a look at the settlements and noticed that the fees I was paying FDR was extremely high. It seems as though they are more interested in keeping you in program by charging these high fees. I've increased my monthly payments by double and I'm still nowhere near to exiting the program, BECAUSE OF THE FEES! Please negotiate your own debt because now I am contractually obligated to stay with them until I am finished paying. I really thought this program was going to help me, but instead I feel as though they make money off the weak who are in poor financial situations.

I called FDR requesting a letter stating that I was allowed to request a small loan from a local credit union. The lady I spoke to said, the only letter FDR can provide is one stating that I was in good standing. I said ok and she said the letter will be emailed to me. This never happened, I never received the letter.

This has been a good experience. My credit score dropped which they told me it would. Not as bad as it thought. The customer service is amazing. I had bad anxiety one day thinking maybe I should not have done this. She assured me I made a good choice and I did.

Staff was friendly and helpful. It did take longer than I expected and the transition to the sister company was confusing. I'm doing the program with Freedom Debt Relief for credit card debt. I didn’t know anything about this going in, and Freedom has done a really good job of talking me through it and helping me through everything. Dealing with their reps has been really well and the service is really good.

I was experiencing some medical issues and I didn't want my credit card payments to go into a spiral. I wanted to deal with it somehow. Freedom came up on one of these social media things on my smartphone and they sounded like the best option for me. The way Freedom is trying to negotiate with these credit card people is fair and equitable. I just have to stay the course and I hope everyone is patient. Help understanding settlement. The customer service person I spoke with was very helpful. She explained things in simple language that I could understand. She was very clear on what my options were and what the pros and cons of those options would be.

I’m working with Freedom right now on my final thing. They just asked me for approval to go ahead and finish the negotiation. The question I had was the amount of money that they’ve negotiated for is less than the money that I’ve stocked in there. But they wanted to continue and pay them over a 12-month period and continue to charge me the money per month that I was putting out to FDR. I talked to them a couple weeks ago and inquired about this. I told them that I have enough in the account and that they should pay them off and be done with it 'cause I could sure use that money somewhere else. And they’re gonna work on it.

I was about as dumb as an ox and didn’t know anything. Freedom Debt Relief was advertised on TV and I called them. They explained to me what the program was. I didn’t fully know everything about it but I knew that they could help me out of the bind I was in because I couldn’t pay the interest on the credit I had accumulated. I turned in all my cards to them and they told me exactly what to pay a month so I did that. I've been doing it ever since. Recently, I increased my payment to $50 a month to get out of it quicker. It has always worked out. If I went to court, they had lawyers and helped me go through that and get that settled. All but one were settled now. Freedom is paying out two at one time now and when I get those paid off and accumulate some cash, they'll settle the last one.

I had been making deposits for over a year when my hours were cut at work. There were several months that I could not make my deposit and some settlements fell through - that is on me. However, a fee is collected monthly from me for NLLG Law Group. When settlements fell through NLLG dropped the case. I was referred to McCarthy Law Group and signed a POA with them. Then one day out of the blue I get a garnishment at work. McCarthy did nothing! I emailed, called. They kept saying NLLG was my lawyer even though they had the POA!! They sat on it until I was garnished! Even though they could have negotiated. I reached out to Freedom and they were no help.
