Although initially our credit took a huge dump, we have been able to pay off most of our debt. Credit is recovering nicely. We have learned a lot about debt during this process and don’t ever see ourselves going back. Thank you.

If I would have know this would have destroyed my credit and that they charge over $10,000 I would not have used this company. The extra $10,000, if I had it back would have been used to pay for the bills I’ve been trying to pay off.

Everything is good with Freedom Debt Relief. I've been with them for a couple years now and I've been happy. The program runs so smoothly that it's very rare that I need to get in touch with them. It's just a monthly deposit. When considering a debt relief program, you have to make sure you have everything in order and keep good records. I've received numerous calls from Freedom Debt saying they found a new debt that was not enrolled and if I would like to enroll it in the program.
When I do investigate what it is and make all the phone calls, we find out that it is a debt that was originally enrolled and it's just a creditor that has sold my debt and changed the account number. So it's very important to have good records and keep track of your original account numbers so that if something like that happens, you can go back and track your original account numbers and know what they were when you started. Otherwise, you can be paying out on debts that you already have enrolled and you don't even know it. You're making duplicate payments and keep enrolling debts but you've already got enrolled. They're just under new names and new account numbers. You're never getting out of debt then.

I found Freedom Debt through Facebook. I clicked on the link and went to my computer and made some research on their reviews and how they handle individual steps. I made a phone call and due to that phone call, it convinced me not to shop for other companies. Customer service was great and the person who assisted me fully explained how the company works or how each account is worked as far as them contacting the creditors individually and trying to negotiate an offer. He also explained to me that it was not going to be an easy or quick process. He said not to expect that we would get an acceptance of the offer immediately from contacting all the creditors.
They also mentioned to me that, based on the amount of my debt or the accounts that I was interested in putting with them, the monthly deposit, how they needed around two, three months or four months of that amount to be deposited before they would start contacting those accounts that I had, the smallest debt going to the largest ones. I usually go to my portal, and they're very good at texting me when there's an account that they're willing to negotiate that I have to accept. I would highly recommend that company to any other friends that will go through the same problem that I had.

I am, as I have stated before, not completely satisfied with the negotiated settlements. Accrued interest should hopefully be eliminated in the settlement or at least part of it. I also have an account #** that I have been paying on monthly and am not delinquent. This card should not be among the cards you are negotiating. Please remove this card as I would like to get this card paid. I am going to pay in full unless you have come to some type of negotiated settlement. Perhaps I can pay a reduced one time cash payment.

Took an awful long time for settlement and too many phone calls from debtors!!! I thought Freedom would contact debtors to let them know I was in program! Had to make too many phone calls to freedom. Almost terminated program. Why can't they just pay off debt instead of payments.

I feel debt could have been paid over a shorter period of time, which would not have doubled the pay back, therefore extending the debt an extended period. Maybe I am missing the bigger picture, please explain. If I have I truly apologize. Because you are helping me.

This is by far the worst thing I could’ve done. What was supposed to help me has put me in so much more debt. I was only supposed to be paying $283. Now after 2 lawsuits I’m paying $493! I should’ve never signed up for this. Biggest scam ever. What they tell you is not how it happens. They haven’t helped me at all.

I was in a lot of debt and I was overwhelmed. Life wasn't getting any better and things were getting harder to pay the bills I had. I looked up debt relief companies and I saw some advertisement or I read about Freedom Debt Relief somewhere and chose them. They provided debt consolidation for me. They're making my life a lot easier by making a couple of payments a month. They're taking care of all my debts for me and I don't have to worry about it. When I get a letter in the mail from a collection agency, they reassure me that it's okay and it's gonna be taken care of. And it always is. I saw Freedom Debt Relief advertised on television. When I realized I needed a solution, I then looked them up and did some comparisons with some reviews and found that they had so much more success that I could see. The process was great. My agent was very personable and understanding. She shared concerns that I had and was able to talk me through those. Getting started, I didn't feel like I was being pressured or put in an uncomfortable place. I felt like I was allowed to start it at my own pace. Initially, I had one person who I was always reaching out to with questions. But since then, I really haven't had much phone conversations with anybody until settlement started coming in. I was getting calls then to discuss what my next steps were.
It looks like the long haul at first and it is. But if you commit to it and take advantage of any opportunities you have along the way to throw a little bit extra into the account, you will see it start to happen. You have to be patient with the process and follow the guidelines. The guidelines are very clear. I would highly recommend it to friends that were in a similar circumstance.

UPDATED 3/23/2021: They say they will give a 250 rebate for each new referral I give. I referred my son. We did what they said about waiting a couple of months to request the rebate. Well, surprise, surprise. They found some obscure rule that made it impossible for me to get that rebate. BEWARE!! These people lie!!
ORIGINAL REVIEW: You told me up front that if I recommended someone to FDR and they stayed in for 3 months I would be given a gift of 250. I did recommend you to me to my son. When I queried about my bonus you gave me some mumbo jumbo about my son's state NH NOT ALLOWING IT!!! And that I would receive no bonus. I strongly suspect you will come up with An excuse for anyone who tried to get that bonus. In short then: I DO NOT TRUST FDR and will never recommend anyone else. B

There was debt relief program available in Omaha and I was still working at the time. They wanted a payment of 775 a month and they were ridiculously high. I found Freedom Debt Relief online and I pay them 124 every two weeks. I've had a good relationship with them. They chose my amount and they wanted me to increase it. But I couldn’t since I'm on retirement and my income has been cut in half.
I had 32 years and three months at the post office and instead of my payment going down, which would've been easier for me because I retired, Freedom wanted me to increase my payments. I can go out and make cash plus my retirement and not be cashed on it. So it could be 1,000 a year. But I haven't done it yet because I had knee surgery and I'm at the end of that. They need to maybe be a little more understanding about what you're going through and not wanting to increase your debt. I can't make it go away any faster. But other than that, I haven't had any problems with them. My credit has gone up and some of my credit cards have been paid off. I have about 5,000 left on it.

I got injured at my job and I lost my job, and we got so behind the creditors with the bills. I looked Freedom Debt Relief up and saw all the good reviews, which was why we went with them to help us with one big payment instead of going for bankruptcy. The reps were wonderful and handled everything. The monthly payment falls in our budget. It’s only my husband working right now with the corona and everything going on. Sometimes, it’s slow. It's just right for us. I always go into the dashboard to check what’s negotiable or how many payments more and how many creditors that we owe. I would recommend anybody that got into debt to go to Freedom.

Shan with Customer Service send me documents by email that clarified each credit card and each settlement that has been processed and each one that is in progress. Shan was very helpful due to the fact that one of the debtors specifically Lenmark said Freedom Debt was taking my $ and even laughed at me. I was quite upset because Judy the Manager said that no one from Freedom Debt has contacted them and this loan is my responsibility. Shan gave me his recommendations if Judy from Lenmark calls again.

Is it would be helpful if you were more proactive on dealing with hostile creditors. They are very threatening and relentless. Also confirming receipt of documents submitted through your web site. It seemed that the fell into a hole never to be seen again. However your direct communication with staff was great and productive.

I have contacted you and tried to get you to get in touch with all of my creditors to tell them you’re handling my affairs, but you did not do this and now I’ve been sued once and have a garnishment on my wages. I feel with the company had been contacted by you and told that you were dealing with my affairs this may not have been the case, I even signed up for legal help and I got a jump through hoops to get that so I’m not very satisfied with the overall of how things are working out because I am now down $500 a month from what I normally make on top of the $500 I pay you and it’s gonna be a struggle to get through this.

I had too much credit card debt and couldn't get out of it on my own. Freedom Debt Relief lowered the amount of what I owed. I've been very pleased. I spoke to a couple of different consultants at various times and it couldn't be more pleasant. They're very helpful and they're not judgmental. The lady from Freedom Debt that I talked to was good. She explained everything pretty much down to the tee, what would be going on and everything. My only thing right now is it really puts a strain on me to have so much money taken out each month. It’s $540 something. That's a lot of money for somebody on a fixed income. But we're trying to do the best we can. They're doing what they said that they were gonna do, so I'm trying to be a happy customer.

If you have a small claim go for it but for a debt relief program over 25000 is not the length they tell you at first.. I am finding out the hard way, your credit will take a hit. Time will be much longer they say and there is really no person to help you get settle unless you meet a certain amount which is something you could definitely do by yourself. Very disappointed after a year and half.

Someone I know was doing a program with Freedom Debt Relief and they said they could help pay my credit card bills and fix my credit. I've been with Freedom for four years. I sent to their rep all my credit card numbers. Then Freedom made some agreements with some of the companies that I had credit cards for. They paid a couple off by coming to an agreement in some certain amount and paying a little bit at a time.
I've been giving Freedom 148 every two weeks 'cause I couldn't do the straight three all in one time. I just make sure the money is there and they've just been taking the payments out of my account. They demanded their money even through COVID-19. So I missed payments a couple of times. I was at the point where I could barely pay rent, but at least I could pay them. So it has been rough but I've been trying my best to get my credit score down. But my credit score doesn't seem to be going up. My fiance seems to think that they're not helping. I'm not sure how much longer I'm gonna stay with them 'cause another company's gonna wanna take money out, and I really can't afford to have two people take their money out. But right now, the money's there and they're still taking it out.

So far in less than 6 months, it has settled 4 of my accounts and most are more than 50% or more off that I owed the credit card companies. As well my monthly payment is less than all the monthly credit card charges would be monthly.

Freedom Debt seemed to work with me better. I tried one other program and money-wise, Freedom could offer me more for what I was paying. The guy I talked to said I had been through a lot. I knew a couple of people who had used Freedom Debt Relief, and they said that they never had a problem with them and they worked very well with the customer. I called and spoke to them and liked them. So, I went with them. Speaking with the reps has been very informative. They told me what I needed to know and they always asked us for an approval first before they did anything. It was nice working with them and the customer service was fantastic. Every time you call customer service, they don't pass you off to certain people. They handle it themselves, which is what I like. Freedom negotiates with the company and then, they advise me of what the negotiations ended up with money-wise, whether we agreed to go with that or not. If not, then they wouldn't negotiate further. They are getting my bills paid and it has got us almost back on track.

85% satisfied. They need to do a better job of informing clients that no negotiations are going to occur until you build up a good amount of money in your account. If I knew this upfront I may have not enrolled in the program. I can't wait until the bill collectors stop calling.

Freedom Debt had good reviews online. A year ago, I emailed them and they called me. When I have concerns, I talk to whoever is available there. FDR is not anything shady and they take care of your stuff. But I had an incident where I deposited $10,000 in my account and I wanted them to pay some of my accounts off that they had already made settlements on. But they wouldn't because I still had other accounts. I would’ve liked them to crack out the small accounts then work on my last two big accounts. Instead, we are gonna draw this out for more time than need be.
From my standpoint, I would’ve rather paid four accounts off with that $10,000 than sit in there and wait to negotiate. That money is just gonna sit in Freedom’s bank for how long and they are still only gonna pay $600 a month on payments. It didn't make any sense, especially for some of the smaller ones. Why string the payments out if you can pay them lump sum? It would help me graduate out of the program a lot earlier. But that is what it ultimately is as they wouldn't have gotten their money at the end of the day. So, I withdrew my $10,000 back out and invested it.

The FDR reps that I've been working with have been pretty good and I haven't had too much to complain about. But the finances being what they are, it's been a struggle to keep up the payments every month. So far, nothing's been officially closed out yet and I'm still paying down debt. But hopefully, things are going to get paid out quickly and I'll get out of this monthly payment. It's very strapping right now with trying to keep up with the monthly payments. I have it done automatically, but everybody's hours have been cut, so we’re just trying to rob Peter to pay Paul every month. Other than that, I have been on the dashboard a couple times and I haven't had any issues doing that.

One of my credit card didn’t reduced any late fee, and I think they charge too much interest because if you reduce from the bank 500 Freedom charge 300 of interest for do the agreement with bank, I think the interest should be lower.

I first signed up to get a loan and was refused then sold on this process. I have come to realize the companies are willing to do deals to lower debt. This is not a good deal. It was hard getting information. When starting out you start with someone and they hand it to someone else.

I went through a divorce, was left with a huge amount of debt all in my name, and I was drowning in it. My neighbor recommended FDR and I signed up with them for credit card relief and consolidation. My first call was pretty smooth where I just gave the rep all my information on the credit cards, a nd he was able to upload all the information within that same phone call. Then, we agreed on a monthly payment that I would put into an account, which was two and a half years ago, and I pay this every month on the 15th. They've settled two of the debts so far for about 40% of what was owed on it. But they told me that my graduation date would be June 2022 and now, it's June 2023. That's going to be an extra year of payments and now it's going to take five years instead of four, and I wasn't really happy about that.
I've got $4,000 in a bank account there and they're not using it. I feel like they could probably eliminate the debt a lot quicker because I'm making these $714 payments every month and the money is just sitting there. They're paying just $25 a month to creditors and it doesn't make sense. I even called them to try and make me understand it. They said that if I gave them the $14,000, they'd have it all done, and that's where my concern is. Despite that, their customer service is well and since having them, I'm able to not worry as much. The program overall works, but it's going to take longer than I anticipated.

I have had nothing but helpful and positive guidance since I began this process. I truly appreciate FDR for their assistance with these debts. My partner suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease for 7 years and I was forced to quit my job to be his full-time caregiver. With no income but his $700 SSD per month I relented and open several credit accounts just so we could buy the things we needed. I thought this program was going to pay my debt faster, it seems that if I don't have enough funds in my account accumulated then my debt doesn't get resolved. And it also seems in the beginning the person taking charge of my account was calling every day to get started, now it seems he is too busy to call me back.

The company Freedom Debt Relief, seems to be a good company to go with if you’re trying to get your debt settled. The only thing I didn’t realize is how long it takes for the debts to get settled. I don’t think I would do this again because I feel bad for the credit card companies. Things are updated like I would wish they would be. For instance, I have one account that says action needed. It’s been saying that for six months now, but every time I call Freedom Debt Relief they say that there’s nothing they need from me. So then I think that they’re not dealing with them because they need something from me that they’re neglecting to get. Other than those two things, they’re doing a good job from what they’re supposed to do. I just didn’t fully understand what I was getting into.

Freedom Debt Relief has done a pretty decent job. I went into this program sort of blind and I learned a lot since. It's a little bit expensive but so far everything's going fine. They've settled some of my debts and I've got others in the process of being paid off. So, it's going pretty good. Will never tell me how much freedom debt is CHARGING me for there service???? All they tell me is what a good job they are doing but never get a answer on how much they are charging me and my discover account went into litigation and never hearing back on that either and I am getting sued for that one they keep sending it to new lawyers and all I am doing is getting nervous.

I got my family in financial situation, when my wife lost her job. I had to use my credit cards to buy groceries for the family and pay for gas for our vehicles. No calls back about summons. Was advised that law firm only negotiate and does not respond to legal matters, I referred them to the contract, they never called back, matter was settled for the amount requested I assume because by the time they negotiate it we were in default.

I had a lot of debt. My parents were with Freedom, so I just went with them for consolidation. I’ve been working with them for three years now. A friend of mine told me that debt relief was a good way to go. I went with Freedom and I liked what their reps had to say. Every time I had a question, they were straight with me and told me everything I could expect. My wife was hesitant about going with them but then I told her that Freedom sounded legit and that they could help us out. I did a Google search and FDR was ranked near the top. I knew that I had to do something ‘cause I was not in a good situation and FDR was kinda what I decided to do. So far so good. I'm doing what I'm supposed to and they're doing what they said they would do. Getting signed up was simple. I didn't have any red flags or I wouldn't have continued. The dashboard is also simple as far as its layout and navigation. It's detailed as to what I'm looking for without having to really hunt around for it. I wish the cost that I'm paying month to month was less, but it's the cost of doing business. It's very vague as far as what the actual fees are gonna be per negotiations but there was really nobody that was willing to say a finite number of what you're gonna pay.

I was paying high interest on credit card bills. My brother researched the different companies and found that FDR seemed to be the number one. I spoke to a couple of different agents and they were very helpful, polite, and nice. I found them to be really concise and they know their business. But the program is taking a little bit longer than I thought. It's been two and a half years now and there wasn't that much debt. I still have like six months of it. Other than that, they've been upfront with me and they text me any time I ask questions. I'm satisfied with them. FDR takes the pressure off knowing that you're paying all the high interests, it's really not going anywhere. That is the best part of it.

I made an arraignment with a representative 3 weeks ago to help fix my credit (in short). I was told to make sure my first payment was made available on Monday the 7th 2020 and I did I was told. It would be applied to and taken out of my bank account by 12:00 noon on the 7th of September 2020. Noon came and went. At 1:00 pm I started trying to find out why it was not even attempted to be withdrawn and because it was a holiday nobody was available until Tuesday.
So I immediately started trying to get ahold of somebody at FDR on Tuesday morning and did not succeed until around 12:00 pm Eastern Time on the 8th of SEPT. 2020 and was told that it was attempted to be taken out of my account on the Friday before the 7th which would have been the 4th of Sept. 2020 and the funds were not available because before I even agreed to this contract I told representative I do not receive any money until Tuesday the 8th of Sept from unemployment which is only 225.00 dollars a week but I made sure there was money anyway by the 7th as I and you agreed to.
I explained all this to human resources person on Friday the 11th 2020 and they were very apologetic but that did not help my situation so I told her I would think about this account over the weekend and make my decision whether to keep my account or not and before I even woke up today my email was getting blast with warnings of how there was insufficient funds in my account to cover the withdraw. Well like I said I only get paid every Tuesday 225 dollars and I am trying to support a household of 5 adults and 9 grandkids on 225 dollars a week and I do not and will not take the aggravation and added stress that this company is adding to my life so it is better for both parties if I cancel my account with FDR and just continue what I already have done with my creditors and let you guys focus your attention on somebody you can help thanks and sorry but I do not want your services at this time.

Customer service has been as helpful as they can be and I give the CSRs a top rating. My estimate was 48 months, and I do understand estimate, however, having deferred a couple payments and adjust a couple, I should be no more than 4 months above the estimate and should complete the program Oct 2022 and yet I am not due to complete until Aug 2023.... 10 months later than planned. I am a single Mom and only entered the program as I saw it would end at the same time my son would graduate and his child support would end.
I knew I could not make this payment each month without the help of this support and the timing was right so I entered this plan rather than claim bankruptcy, and although I would struggle for 4 years to make this payment it was the right thing to do, the more ethical choice. Now I am being told it will take an additional 10 months of struggling even harder, I don't know how I will do it, and I feel the estimate was false and unfortunately I feel this is a normal practice on your part to get people to join the program.
I feel lied to which is a fact of life but this lie will cost me more than you will ever imagine unless you are a divorced single mother of 3 struggling to get by. For these reasons I would not recommend your program, I would not put another struggling parent through what I am going through knowing this massive payment will need to be met 10 months longer than planned and with $1,200.00 less income a month than currently while I already struggle.

I was having trouble with my finances and the payments that I was doing were too much. I couldn't handle it anymore, so I looked for a solution. Freedom Debt Relief was the first thing that came to my mind, so I contacted them and they provided me with the opportunity to fix my debt. I had not enough money to do my payments, so instead of making a lot of payments and paying all the interest on the debts that I had, Freedom Debt Relief offered a monthly payment that was affordable to me. They gave me the chance to have that money aside to make one payment only.
Having one payment a month instead of too many, I don't worry that I don't have money on the date. That's what works for me. Little by little, I'm getting rid of my debts, so that’s what counts. My wife found Freedom Debt Relief through one of her friends and we went with them because that’s who they had used. FDR worked really well with us, especially with the whole pandemic going on. If we're not able to make a full payment, we make partial payments and that really helps. And they let us know how of that affects the settlements, too. We're able to do the payments, but they might go back on some of the settlements if they’re not being settled. So we understand. Even so, they try to help us out as much as possible and make sure that we know that that doesn’t mean that our debt just goes away.

I went through a divorce and I had a lot of outstanding debt on my credit cards. My ex-wife dealt with all of it and I didn’t have any information on it so I hired FDR. I initially called and I really liked the lady that I spoke with. She sounded really nice and was very helpful and kind. She made it easier for me and I was really impressed with her. FDR kind of helped bring me through the hard times. I couldn’t really think straight and they helped me out by taking care of all the credit cards. Freedom Debt Relief is wonderful. The relief of not having to worry about those bills anymore is tremendous. Freedom has helped me so much just taking it off my back and taking care of it themselves. Any question I had, I could call any time and they answered. If they didn't know, they got somebody that did. I was hoping that FDR would eliminate all my debt but they only eliminated 45% of it on my one credit card account. I won't have to pay the rest off for 22 months, they will pay it monthly for 22 months and I hope that I can get the rest of the credit cards paid off at the same time.

When I called them, I was very impressed with whoever I was talking to. We got it worked out about what was going to happen. Everything went so smoothly. I didn't have to worry about everything. Everything was spelled out. They explained the program to me and it is working. It's something that I've been able to afford and I can see real progress. I only skipped payment once. I have to be a little creative because they always take it out the day before I get paid. But that's fine and I've been able to make the payments.

Updated on 02/07/2021: Freedom Debt Relief did the one lump sum for me, which was something that I could afford. I was consistently doing it for at least two good years. I'm halfway through. And they said that I was a very good customer, so they offered me a loan program so that my credit could start increasing, where the amount that I was paying for the debt would go toward the loan repayment and they will pay off my debts with this loan. And then I just pay this one lump sum loan back to them. This was different because Freedom Debt worked on negotiating the principal. The reps were always open to me communicating with them if I needed any questions answered. We had the dashboard so we communicated that way. Or if there was anything else going on, if I needed to talk to a live person, then they were always amenable to that. Their customer service was excellent.
Original review: Their customer service is excellent. Whatever issue is brought up, they resolve in one contact phone call. I was concerned about credit reporting agency having lowered my credit score, but I was assured this was normal and as debt is being reduced, the credit score would eventually start to increase.

I’m mostly happy with the program. My only issue is that I get the impression that I can’t make a change to the amount of my monthly payment and it has been really hard during these difficult times. I’m hoping to be in a position to buy a home in the future once I’m done and I don’t think I could’ve done that without FDR.

Was told it would take 48 months to complete. Now it's up to 60. I was misled. Taking longer to settle than expected. Late fees included in settlement. I thought it was the amount you owed at the beginning. Not going as expected.

One of the things that made me sign up with them was that the monthly payments were lower than other companies. Also, it damaged my credit but not as much as the others. The sign up process was really easy. It was really fast and comfortable. The person I spoke to was really friendly and he gave me some confidence because I was really nervous about it. I did a search on a website and they pointed me to Freedom. Then, I did my research on the Better Business Bureau to see how their rating is and stuff like that and I saw that a lot of people had a good outcome so we went with them. The rep we talked to was very informative and well-spoken and they were very flexible with my payment plan. If I ever have any questions, they attend to me very well. I give them a call and they let me know what's going on. And they've been alerting me if there were any issues.
If there has been anything to settle an account, like I already have the money to pay it off, they let me know as soon as it's ready to settle. They email me or call me and the program on the website tells me how far I'm in my settlements with each card. I already got two down out of the four credit cards that I'm trying to get rid of. It’s been good so far. I have creditors who have sent out law firms on me but it hasn't affected me in any wrong way. It pays for legal litigation.

My brother was 17,000 in debt and somebody recommended Freedom Debt Relief to him. He enrolled into the program, and after two years, he was done. They did a great job for him. I owe more money than my brother and I didn't want to file for bankruptcy. I don't like the idea of going bankrupt. I contacted FDR and I've been working with them and I feel good. When you enroll all the debts that you have to a company like Freedom Debt Relief, the creditors will start sending you letters, "Hey, you gotta pay." They know that you are enrolled into a company already, but they continue sending you letters. Every time they send me a letter, what I'll do is I'll take a picture and I'll load the document to my account.
Everything is working good for now. I've been with Freedom Debt Relief for a little more than a year and I don't know for how long I gonna be with them, but I recommend the company. The customer service is one of the best. Every time I call, they answer very quickly and they work with me. A female person called me the other day and she was offering to get me a loan to pay everything off and then enroll with them. The only difference was I'm gonna finish sooner than with Freedom Debt Relief, and my credit score will probably be good sooner. I don't know if I gonna end up paying more than what I'm paying now, but I'm considering calling them back and seeing how this would work. It's best to finish as early as I can, but for now, I'm staying. Somebody from Freedom Debt Relief told me that company's like Freedom Debt Relief's sister, so both of the companies work together.

Updated on 11/11/2021: I would highly recommend Freedom Debt Relief to anyone. Working with them gave me peace of mind. I am more than halfway through the program and the majority of my accounts have been negotiated and completely paid. Most of the creditors settled for 50%, some lower with the best being a 35% settlement. The agreed upon payments were reasonable and manageable which is important. The debt can’t be paid if you can’t make the payment. Definitely worth looking into for your personal needs. Glad I did!

I started FDR in May 2020 because I was in so much debt and was receiving calls from debt collectors constantly. I didn't know how to handle everything and I saw an advertisement for FDR. I did my research prior to contacting them and they were all glowing. I could not find one negative review; so, I decided to contact them. I have not regretted my decision yet. The initial process was lengthy but necessary because they literally take care of everything. I have not received one debt collection call since enrolling. They state upfront that your credit score will decrease, which it has, but nothing significant. I have had three of my debts negotiated since May. I am 100% satisfied with FDR and encourage people who are deep in debt to do the same.

I picked FDR because it sounded like they would help me in my situation. I talked to their rep about the situation and he said he would do whatever he should do to see about helping me. He sounded very honest and very sincere, like he really wanted to help me. They provided a program to lower the amount of money I owe on my credit cards to make them more affordable. They ran over what I owed, contacted the companies, and offered me a settlement. They tried to negotiate a lower amount of debt. It's all very good and working out. I was making regular payments but I had to lower them because of the coronavirus and losing 50% of my income and my wife's not working. FDR tried to take a very tough situation and make my life a bit easier. If anyone asks, I would recommend FDR to get them of a tough situation.

I was in a bad spot and needed some help. I filled out papers and everything that I wanted to put in there and Freedom gave me a quote on how they could help me meet that. I did a search on the internet and Freedom showed up. I called them and they ran through the program. The customer service has been great. I'm still waiting for them to resolve all of the accounts. But they did explain how it worked, including the fee structure, which was a little high, but it is what it is. They're all fairly standard. They onboarded me once the sales rep knew that I was gonna sign up. He handed me off to an internal account manager and they reach out periodically with some tips and techniques. They also request to get on their portal and check my account information. They provide some updates there as well.

One of my friends recommended Freedom to me and he said it was pretty good. And it is good. I like it. They consolidated my credit cards and they helped a lot. They would email me all the information and I didn't need to call them or anything like that. I just talked to one man the first time and he told me the process and I enrolled all my debts with them. I'm happy that I did that. For the payment plan, they asked me if I could pay a certain amount a month and I agreed that I could do it. Everything was good until I paid it off.
