These guys have been so helpful and I honestly would not know what to do with my debt if it weren’t for them. They are so nice and understanding. They explained everything very clearly to me. They have been able to reduce the debt I initially signed up with to about half of what I had owed. I’m having issues adding new debt with a lease end balance. They're not accepting the final statement letter because it’s more than 45 days old. I’ve spoken repeatedly to the car finance and they don’t send out any other letters. Still waiting to hear back from FDR on this. I’ve even sent in the email showing the date it was re-sent to still silence.

Everything was going well, until I lost my second job and had no income. The customer service reps did not seem to understand that I HAD to lower my monthly contribution to be able to survive until I found another job. It is not something that I WANTED to do, but I needed to do. The emails and texts telling me that this was affecting any settlements and my end date for getting out of debt was only causing me more stress.

I had great service and my question was taken care of. Thank you for your help and service through this process. I am debt free and it is an amazing feeling to be on the other side of this. I would recommend FDR to anyone looking for debt help.

When I call, I talk to anybody that's there. The consultants have been pretty good. They set it up with the bank to take my payment out of my account. Freedom Debt Relief took care of my creditors from calling and they got them all resolved fairly quickly. It's helping me get out of debt. I'd tell others to try it. It works for me.

UPDATED 1/25/2022: The creditors still call from time to time but over time I have adjusted. My only problem has been was I couldn't add two collections accounts. I don't know if I went through the proper procedure steps but I really need to add two more accounts.

Was kept informed as to what was happening with my accounts and felt like I was being helped out of a difficult situation. Very satisfied with the whole experience. Looking forward to putting these debts behind me. Would gladly recommend FDR to anyone needing their services.

I had too much credit card debt and I lost my job. I threw a dart at the board, hit Freedom Debt Relief, and I took them. Their rep was really easy to deal with. He told me how much, asked me how much I could afford, then slam-bam-thank-you. The quality of service has been fantastic and they're always there to help me. I'm nearly finished and I never had a bad experience, so it's been pretty good.

While I am very surprised by how long the process takes and in some cases, the balance grows so high because of late charges, that the negotiation down gets us to where it was when it was onboarded. I would however state the process is simple and the harassment is not existent.

With all the litigation I have received and no calls to my creditors or letters sent out on my behalf like state when you first enter the program has never been done. I have sent a creditor over 10 times to you and still not added to my account but yet charged me for it when it was explained that it was not a secured debt. Then send me notifications that you found new debt that should be added, well I figured that out that the debt that's enrolled has been sold to another name and you want people to believe that it's new debt but really not so you can charge them more money!

Doing an excellent job in solving these debts. With my medical problems, I truly appreciate all this help. It's a relief for me at this time. Having so many dr. appointments, I don't have time hardly to get my breath.

Freedom Debt Relief is good. I had credit, but my first wife and then my second wife messed it up for me. I did this, I did that and it turned out bad. The world landed on me and I was squished. I was seconds away from doing things that were unthinkable. It was 2017 when I got into the program. The pitch was good, the opportunity was there, and there were no strings. It was plain and simple, “Here's what we do. You do this, you pay this, you're done.” The representative's greeting was personable and instead of my money, they thought about me and getting me out of debt and out of trouble. Every time I asked a question, it’s either “We know the answer," or "We'll get back to you about that.”

I'm very happy with Freedom Debt Relief. The service and the program are excellent. The people are very nice, polite, and have good service. I really consider all the hard work that they do. I've been in the program only last year and I'm kind of relieved and less stressed. Freedom really helps me to handle my debts.

I am pleased to open my own account. I do have concerns associated with my old account with my husband (Jimmy **) now deceased. Not only was the money that was agreed upon taken out of my checking account but also the money that was from my previous account with my husband. That account was supposed to be closed and the money in that account to be refunded. I haven’t received anything from the old account. Where did that money go if that account was closed? When are y’all going to send the balance in that account? I can’t afford both.

I saw my husband do great with Freedom Debt Relief. I decided to do the same for myself and I had a good experience with my rep. When I have a question, I call and the reps always treat me really well. I recommended my cousin in Florida to them. They called in to FDR and they have a settlement already.

I'm told (and this is nothing to boast about) that I have the second largest debt consolidation plan with Freedom Debt Relief. Their customer service from the very beginning was superb. They were patient and considerate of the mess I was in - nearly losing my home and in such a unique situation where I legally couldn't declare bankruptcy. I'm over one year into the program and am on an aggressive payoff plan with nearly every creditor. My credit has even increased! But beyond that, I've learned to manage my finances better. I don't have to communicate with creditor - they've handled everything. The stress is gone. When I have questions, they promptly answer and keep me updated constantly with their private online portal. I know where I stand with any creditor at any time. I would recommend that you pay off a debt in bigger payments other than payments of 15-20 dollars every two weeks. Wait till my deposit is over 300 and make 2 or 3 payments towards a debt and take away credit cards one by one.

Quickly stopped the letters and calls. Also, alerted us immediately when there was a settlement and made the transactions easy to navigate and understand. FDR made getting out of debt considerably easier than attempting to deal with multiple companies alone!

I sent settlement offers from TD bank and you ignored them. You should tell me why you are doing nothing on this account. I think TD should be moved up on the settlement list to immediately. Please explain why you are not pursuing this offer.

This is a program everybody should look into. Having more debt this is the to go. They are professional and understanding. Most credit companies do care how and what happens. Every person spoke with helped me under. I appreciate their services.

I have enjoyed all the people that have talk to. The customer service is always great. On the other hand though the fees for the settlements are basically the cost of my full debt. This was disappointing to find out after my first settlement, I will be settling all other debt I have on my own.

You said would be out of debt like two years. Told my wife like three years. Well looking like twice as long if not longer. Can not help to think that you are spreading it out so you can charge us a monthly fee. Thought you were here to help not take advantage of people whom are struggling and trying to do the right thing and not filing bankruptcy chapter 7, and here you are stretching it out so you can charge us more and more money for your fees, starting to feel like you are no better than the creditors and you are taking advantage of people whom fell on hard times.

It’s been almost two years now that I signed up with Freedom Debt Relief and the quality of service is good.

Freedom Debt Relief is worth looking into. They do a good job. I talked to one guy when I first called then got set up with another person when I signed up. They answered my questions and weren't judgmental. It’s going on almost three years now for me and they've gotten three of my six debts already taken care of so I'm happy with that. The first time I did a settlement, it was a real shock. They took their share right then and there. I wish their fees were a little lower but they are what they said they would be which I agreed for them to take.

I wish the settlement would happen quicker to stop accrual of interest or late fee charges. It would seem counterproductive to allow these charges to accrue. Settlement has to overcome these charges and final amount due could be less. Thank you for your consideration.

My customer service rep went out of her way to be helpful and compassionate during a difficult time. She lifted my spirits and made my day! She was a good example of how the public would like to be treated by folks doing their difficult job.

I hit a major bump on the road during my life journey, and with that I found myself in a messy situation. Freedom Debt Relief saved me. I was able to manage a monthly payment to get my debt resolved. Every month when I was making payments, they were just minimums. I put it all together and it was gonna take me close to 24 years to be completely debt-free the way I was going. I did a lot of shopping around before I talked to a bunch of different debt consolidation companies and Freedom stood out more than any other ones. It was very simple and they're very nice people to deal with. When I contacted them, they told me in 48 months that I'd be zero debt. They've already solved eight or nine accounts, and I've got six more to go. I'm a little over two years into the program and I've got two more to go. I'm very happy with the progress being made.

Freedom Debt Relief was very helpful at the beginning and they were very helpful when they were sending the emails out as far as when they're doing negotiations. One thing they need to explain is the consequences you will have with the IRS. This completely got me by surprise and I got hit very hard for the income tax. It might not be necessary to explain that because it may not help their business but it has to be at least mentioned. That way, they give the customer a better decision making type of tool than anything else. I will definitely tell whomever I recommend it to to talk to their tax advisor because it's huge. But as far as everything else goes, they have been very good. They have treated me fairly as much as they have possibly been able to.

This program has helped my family slowly get back on track and get us back onto the right path. I’m very thankful for Freedom and being so helpful explaining the process and answering any questions I had. I would recommend to anyone who needs the same help we did!

They are doing good and I’m feeling better every day and I can stop stressing out about it cuz I know it’s getting taken care of and having the peace of mind knowing how long it takes in the long run it will be good.

Updated on 01/03/2021: Freedom Debt Relief did great resolving my credit card debts. My wife's high medical problems depleted my savings account and more. We will catch up this year. Thank all the FDR people that I had contact with and their patience and immense help.

The FDR Program has been very helpful in handling my debt. They started with excellent service the very first time we spoke. I wasn't sure if I could trust them... I'm always nervous and skeptic with any new endeavor. I plan to pay my account early if I'm able.

Everything is going GREAT.. except I am not a big fan of automatic deductions. It often put my bank account in risk of getting in negative balance. I understand why it is necessary, but still should have given customer the option to authorize. Also, should have given an option to change the deposit cost instead agreement. I want to reduce deposit from $200 to $150 due to budget but wasn't given an option to unless I requested them to. But again, everything else is GREAT. I'd just give 4 1/2 stars.

When we moved we made poor choices. Eventually those choices were hindering financial freedom. When we had no other choice we needed something that would work for us and with us and this was it! I highly recommend. Now, our financial struggles are a thing of the past.

I just signed up. They haven’t really done anything for me. I have to make a few payments There really isn’t anything else to say. Except Dave ** was helpful with trying to get me signed up. The girl I talked with was helpful.

UPDATED 03/24/2022: Freedom Debt Relief has been working extremely diligently in negotiating settlements for my accounts. I am so grateful for the progress they've made in helping me get into a better financial situation. I truly appreciate the help and I am looking forward to completing the program to be able to start anew and from a much better position thanks for the efforts of everyone at FDR.

Called and spoke with Cory about enrolling in Freedom Debt Relief. He explained and walked me through the steps and assured me any questions/concerns would be taken care of during this time. Stress free and looking forward to my debt being resolved with Cory. Very pleasant to work with him.

They let me divide the monthly cost into two payments and there have been a couple of changes on it. I could either have stretched it out longer or raise the payment, and I chose to raise the payment. They are very good. They don’t bug me a lot. Freedom Debt Relief got rid of a lot of calls and over half of the debts have been settled or are being settled at this time. I would recommend them to anyone that gets into the same situation. They do everything they can and you don't even have to go down. Mine was all done on the computer. They made it very easy.

Freedom Debt Relief took care of a couple of my debts. The representative was very pleasant, answered my questions, and explained everything thoroughly.

So far has been an excellent experience and the customer service is excellent, informative, and full of support. The only thing I am terrified is King to Court. I just don’t have the money to pay for that, I think it should be part of the pkg.

I saw Freedom Debt Relief on Facebook. I looked them up and they sounded real. I went to my bank, showed it to the banker and asked him if they can kinda check on it. They did and said they were listed with the Better Business Bureau, and it looked good to them. Signing up was a real simple. You talk to them on the phone and give them your list of debtors and information on credit cards or whatever you owe. They take it from there then they make their decisions. Whatever they come up with, they call you then discuss it with you. You either do or don't go along with it. They give me monthly reports. I've only been with them for a little over a year now but as far as I can see, what they're doing is fine with me. I'm highly satisfied with them.

Lebbs answered all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and assured me of everything. Pretty much everything that he said happened exactly how he said it would, so it made me feel comfortable. I got on a program quickly. I enrolled last June and I’m already done, so it’s perfect and very ideal. It's better to go slow and skeptical because you've grown up in life and you constantly get told, “Pay your bills. Pay your bills on time.” And you now have a complete stranger say, “Hey, don't pay your bills. We're going to do this for you. It's going to work out.” And it did. I feel better about it all now.

Updated on 08/16/2022: When I signed up with FDR, my biggest fear was getting sued by creditors. In just over 2 years since signing up, I'm down to only one of 5 creditors left to be settled and it's been such a relief. I haven't had to deal with attorneys or threats from any of the creditors to date. And it's so easy having my payments submitted from my checking account to FDR every pay period. This has been a huge stepping stone to work towards repairing my credit after years of different life-changing experiences that I did not see coming. Freedom Debt is working very hard to help with my debt situation. They have been able to settle a couple accounts in just a short amount of time. I highly recommend this service for a way to get out of debt should you find yourself in a situation where you feel like you're drowning in credit card debt.

They're really good people and getting signed up was very easy. I turned in all my accounts, they looked at everything and got back with me. I called them twice to ask them about things and I haven't had any trouble with them. Sometimes their charge is a little high, but that's normal. The guy told me 25%. My debts are not all the way settled and that was another problem that I didn't understand. They take these accounts and pay them so much every month for 24 months. The other day, I got the thing to settle for $600 but they wanted to break the notes out into 48 months. I called them up laughing and told them that I might be stuck in this for 4 years. But the guy told me that if I pay it off early, then they'll cancel the four years.

My husband and I just started freedom and it has been great so far. You get great information and Communication from the company. We notice our credit has been going on up drastically. The website is east to use and breaks everything down so it’s easy to keep track.

I enrolled my debt consolidation around Jan 2020 and it’s now Oct 2020 .. I still get daily calls from creditors telling me they have not been contacted by Freedom Debt Relief. My credit has been suffering since I enrolled and the amount of settlement fees I pay seem to be as high as how much I would have paid for interest for my credit cards. I’m still unsure if I’ve made the right decision with enrolling into debt consolidation. My debt has suffered and the company does not pay your debt off all at once. They withdraw money and deposit it into a trust and will use that money to pay off your debt. I had the impression that they would pay off my debt and I would pay them back, however that’s not the case.

They were able to make my payments fit my budget. I get monthly updates on balances and get informed when a bill has been taken care of. FDR is very easy to work with. I would recommend FDR to everyone I know who needs help.

I am very happy so far with Freedom Debit Relief to date would highly recommend to others. Would give them a very high rating as I believe they are an excellent company. They do protect your privacy I could not be any happier with any other company so therefore I give them a thumbs up.

They said that they can help me out on getting debt-free so I signed up with them. They helped me when I needed help. Any time I had a question, they would talk to me. They contact me when they come to something to settle, and then they ask me if this is okay, and I say yea or nay, and they go on. I started out $125 a month, and that's what I'm continuously doing every two weeks.

Freedom Debt Relief walked me all the way through the process, explained everything to me, and told me what information I needed to get together for them. It was a very easy and very professional process. It wasn't like they didn't know what they were doing. They told me how long the program would be and I've progressed. I would be halfway in a couple of months. They've worked with me on times that checks didn't come in on time. I had to move dates for payments and they're very helpful in that. They were very cordial too. They send me emails telling me to look at my dashboard and see how I'm progressing. I've been very pleased.

I liked what they offered and they're doing good. I could call them and they would talk to me. Or they'd call and find out if I wanted to release the payment to settle it. I approve so much monthly to go on to the debt. They're flexible with me. I let them do what they need to do and they tell me what they wanna do. If I agree, then I tell them to do it.

I’ve loved the experience, but end should be in 90 days but isn't...Why isn’t it almost done, as promised?? It needs to be over! Who is left to deal with??? Is Discover, the only one left to satisfy?? I need one last total to send in lump sum.

Everything I've called Freedom Debt Relief and asked them for, they’ve done it for me. It's just that they've been taking $507 out of my checking account every month. This January will be two years. Since I got involved with them, I'm walking around broke. I called up my guy that I speak to in Freedom Debt Relief and told them I may have to lower the payments because I don't even have any money I can live on if they take that money out of my check. I'm only living on a certain amount of money.

I had an overwhelming amount of credit cards and I couldn't keep up with all the payments. It got out of hand and I decided it was time for some consolidation. I signed up with Freedom Debt Relief and the reps I dealt with were great. The only thing I didn't like was in the beginning, it was very repetitive. It was about half an hour talking to someone then the next day, I had to do the same thing with the admit package and it seemed to be a waste of time.

From the moment I called and asked for help. Every representative has been wonderful to work with. They have been patient and understanding and very knowledgeable. Very lucky I called them. It was a great move. They are a pleasure to work with.

I feel attended to. I understand customer service, and the members of FDR have been patient, informative, helpful. The one CSR that stands out in my mind is Ms. Lisa M. She helped me cross the finish line in correcting my credit debt.

Everyone I have spoken with has been very polite and knowledgeable. I really appreciate the representative’s willingness to go above and beyond average customer service. They will stay on the phone with you as long as it takes to resolve an issue to your satisfaction.

One of the reasons why I gave this rating is because of the fact Freedom Debt Relief doesn't include small loans. That includes PayDay loans, and high interest loans. Not including these loans is not good business practice. It is not good customer services. Please improve Freedom Debt Relief. Thank you.

Our account says we are owing more money to settle two accounts - however it’s your fault. You made a deal with the account and you need to settle it as soon as possible. I keep getting email every day on these accounts.

Freedom provided me with excellent customer service and support throughout the process of settling my debts. I felt confident in entrusting them with my accounts. There was no guessing and everything was done in a transparent way. The only drawback is that the fees add up as well, so the actual reduction in debt does not provide as much in savings as I would have liked.

Talked to two customer service Wednesday and Thursday, Gentleman on Wednesday very helpful. Gave me amount to settle my debt. Subtracted total debt from deposit account funds which left amount I would have to pay. He also told me how they would pay accounts and the outstanding debt would have to be negotiated. Person on Thursday not helpful, really agitated me. All I want to do is pay balance of accounts. I have requested a letter for payoff. Haven’t received it. Freedom Debt Relief has been very good over the years and paid my Debts, I wanted to pay my Debts before I Die and thanks to your Company it almost has been done. It is now time for me to pay off the remaining balance if I could just get someone to help me.

Freedom Debt Relief: Reading the 1 star reviews, I concur with it all. They have a rating of zero. I have not benefited at all from this service. My credit report reflects I’m in negative standing with with the accounts they were supposed to be working on. On my report it indicates charged off so if it’s charged off, what are they doing with the money. I have not received any verification from the debtors that it is resolved nor can they produce any proof of contact with either of these companies the written communication of the negotiations. Not only am I on a fixed income and this money coming out of my account but I am caring for my husband with cancer..

Freedom Debt Relief keeps us informed every time they negotiate, or when they pay off a creditor. They also made the payment so we could afford it monthly, so we've been happy with them. We've been with them for three years.

Freedom Debt Relief is a great company. When I went searching for it on Google for a consolidation company, they were the first one that came up. Then, I read the reviews and I decided to try them. So far, they have done right. I pay off my bills, but I still have to a long way to go to finish paying my debt off. I worked with Erica, Desiree and Trevor, and everything was on the positive side. They explained everything to me what was expected of them and what their intent was. It was not like they were pushing me to put more deposit. It was always a suggestion, but they were okay with it. So, I, on my own, would voluntarily send them extra payments, but I let them know. They were thankful for that and it’s speeding up the process of getting these payments out of the way.

I appreciate all the help the staff at Freedom has done so far for me. The videos on the desktop have helped greatly and now I know what to say to credited. I have also received advice from many of the staff at Freedom on what steps to take for precautions.

Watching the debt get enrolled is liberating. I love the backend of the platform. It's so easy to navigate and I love being informed when a new settlement is being offered. I love that I have to accept it and I can see the program for each settlement getting paid. 50% off my debt has been the average so far and I'm just excited to be out of debt.

FDR has been a great help to me getting some things paid off. They’ve negotiated some good deals for me with my creditors. Customer service always answers any questions I have and has helped me to update some info that I couldn’t do online. Highly recommend them!

The only thing I see that can be worked on is the dashboard because lots of time and most of the time I could not get in to the dashboard. I would change my password and it still would not work. That is the only thing I have a problem with. The people are very nice and kind. Thank for helping me.

I was so scared I get sued by one of my debtors but FDR is constantly working with them to prevent that from happening. It’s definitely eased my nerves. They also keep me updated on what’s happening. I have a problem with credit cards and this isn’t my first time using a debt relief company. The last company did nothing until I had enough money in my account and I ultimately got sued. FDR had been awesome at keeping me informed, contacting me about issues, and I have been able to stop stressing.

I wanted to get rid of the credit cards. Freedom Debt Relief was one of the ones who called me and so far, my progress with them has been fine. They do what they're supposed to be doing and so do I, I call periodically to make sure everything's okay.

I had about $73,000 in credit card debt. I read reviews and they said that Freedom Debt Relief was very good. The only thing that they dropped the ball on was Bank of America. I called them and told them that I was being garnished. I had also told them that I never received a summons. But that's water under the bridge now. That’s all paid, so I'm good. They've been very good to me.

Being that I have just started this program I don't have too much knowledge but so far my experience has been excellent. Everyone has been super helpful and friendly. I can already see through the website that my accounts are being negotiated, which is fantastic.

Freedom Debt Relief helped reduce some of my debt as well as paid it off in a timely manner. They did a really good job. The level of professionalism enhanced my confidence and being able to go with a company that I thought was gonna be reputable, whereas I wasn't 100% sure about the reputable company, especially when it comes to giving them my money.

FDR does make it very efficient and easy to work with them. However, creditors all "PANIC" if you miss a payment and "HARASS" you regardless how many times you send them letters, talk to their CSR etc. The electronic computer collection calling to a voice mail should be illegal. Some contact you wanting to give you a special deal if you violate the agreement with FDR. As a client I am very happy with all the support I get from FDR and I am sticking to my guns to make payments to them as arranged!

The representative I spoke with was very polite and helpful. I'm looking forward of graduating sooner than September 2021. If I'm able to graduate sooner than expected without any issues, I will recommend you to some of my friends needing your service in the future.

I was a little over my head from financial hardship and checked on some excessive debt that was continuing to grow. Freedom Debt Relief had the most positive reviews and their website was very user-friendly. Their reps are really working to resolve and do what's right now that we're in a pandemic. They've been also been very helpful with doing what makes sense to stay on track, but also remain stable in my life, too. They're really easy to work with and very understanding especially with everything going on in the world right now. We really discussed what my payments were and they were flexible. If things need to change, they're open to it but at the same time, they are encouraging me to stay on track to finish off what I need to finish up. It has all been very clear and straightforward. They're very communicative, which is great. They really helped me through a hard time in my life. It has been, for the most part, a pleasurable experience.

I have a wonderful experience with Freedom Debt Relief. I haven't completed it yet, but it's given me a lot of peace of mind. It's a good deal. They were very helpful, very knowledgeable and considerate. They made me feel very comfortable.

I do not recommend Freedom Debt Relief. Freedom Debt Relief offered to negotiate my debt with each creditor for a low interest. In the process, I would have to stop paying my creditors which fell into no payment status that damaged my credit. It made me believe this was a better option fit for me. Later to find, that I could've just stopped paying all my creditors and targeted one creditor at a time to pay because once a debt falls into a no payment status they will offer you a settlement. Therefore, I could've handled myself without payment freedom debt relief an interest for something I could have done myself.

As a potential customer of Freedom Debt Relief, you should know you can contact your credit card company direct and offer a settlement. This is normally 60% of the current balance and you can offer payment amounts which of course you must adhere to. Perhaps they won't want to discuss a settlement option until you stop making payments for a period of time but the debt will be resolved quicker and much cheaper than hiring FDR to do the same thing. There are many fees of all types you will be charged that are not disclosed in advance. I hired FDR to settle four credit card accounts, they resolved one within a few months. After two years and a learning experience, I settled the other three on my own. John in TX

When I first went with Freedom Debt Relief, I was with my ex-wife and she had run up all of her credit cards. I had taken out a loan to pay her credit cards off. Then, she did it again. So to keep her from being sued, I had applied for something. The next thing I knew, Freedom Debt Relief had called. Then when she and I divorced, I had to start all over with just my debt.

The overall experience was so much easier than I expected. It took so little time to complete all of the information and the counselor that helped me was excellent. I will definitely recommend it to a friend. My daughter used the program and it worked very well for her.

I couldn't afford to pay my bills and I didn't want them to get behind. When I called Freedom Debt Relief, I told the reps my concern and they explained how their system works to me. No matter what I did, they could only do so many bills at a time. I said I could do that but then I didn't want all the calls. Also, they would have to get my approval to make a settlement. I really like them because they always answer my questions on the spot. They take their time to work with me. They never tell me to call back or send an email.

I liked the way Freedom Debt Relief put everything together and how my debt was gonna be paid off. However, they could be a little more clear on the process of where you're at paying it off. I called a couple times and they gave me the total amount that was settled for instead of what I've paid on it and what I owe to date. There was also a time that I had a little dispute but it was just miscommunication on both of our parts. I called back and talked to someone and they explained the situation. Other than that, everything seemed to be good. They've also been very good when I call with a question. I'm very satisfied with them and I would highly recommend them.

I needed to have more cash in my account as I take care of my parents. I also have a lot of credit card debt. I went with Freedom Debt Relief and everyone there has been good. I get emails from them to which I say "okay". There haven't been any bumps in the road.

I received instructions about how to submit the summons I was served to FDR and National Litigation Law Group. I immediately received a follow-up email from the same FDR representative with the information I needed to proceed. The FDR representative was extremely helpful and seemed concerned to make sure I was properly informed.

American Express sent me a settlement from Zucker & Associates, and Freedom's customer service person said it can be paid starting in five months. Zucker said great; have Freedom call us to set it up. Freedom refused that one phone call and insisted I pay more than $4,000 to set up that account. I couldn't do that. I had to agree with Zucker separately, so now I have an extra $550 a month I have to pay, which is a strain. I am very disappointed in Freedom. The person I talked to this last time did a good job of deleting the American Express account, but couldn't do anything else.

So far everything is going okay, I just don't like the creditors calling me, hopefully that will stop. If things go good I will recommend you to someone else. Thanks so far for the service you are given to me.

Although it seems that it is taking along time, they have made settlement offers on two of three accounts that I turned over to be settled. They contact me monthly to let me know they are still working on my account. It is worrisome waiting when I am still being contacted by my creditors, but results are what counts.

My credit card debt was not in a bankruptcy situation but I felt it was starting to get a little bit out of control. I saw an ad on Facebook one day. I still was a little bit skeptical about Freedom Debt Relief but I researched further and spoke to somebody over there. I felt I could trust them so that's what led me to going over there. They didn’t accept me right away. They had to go through all the numbers and made sure I was a candidate for it. If my debt was too high, then they would have recommended another source of action like bankruptcy which I was hoping would not be the case.

I enrolled with FDR 4 years ago after losing my job and going in cc debt. I was told they would handle everything stress free. Not the case, my 4 year projection is now over 6. I have been sued twice and had to pay court fees both times, as well as filling out POAs and lengthy paperwork. There was no mention of the possibility of being sued. They only negotiate $800 off of $21k then charged 25% of the balance. The client dashboard shows estimated graduation at 4 years then changes at your 4th year. This company is out to charge high fees with poor negotiations and will mislead you until the end.

Because of the charge offs reported by settlements and payoffs, we were unable to qualify for the reverse mortgage we were applying for. Longbridge Financial suggested we apply again after we complete paying off all creditors. FDR provided the information that I requested in a timely and professional manner.

FDR is a debt relief program, not a money management program. Do your homework before signing up. All enrolled debt will continue to get behind and interest will accrue. When you have enough in your "account" and are far enough behind, they will negotiate for a debt settlement with each credit card company. But your credit score will be trashed for quite awhile. A money management program works very differently, so check out the difference before signing up! FDR does what they say they will do, but communication is barely adequate. Keep checking your dashboard. I was too far into the program to be able to deal with a money management approach, so I decided to just stay with FDR. I'll be done in 3 more years (or earlier if possible).

Good customer relations. I was pleased with the quick settlements with the creditors. I only have one issue, is I was told it will only take 4 years. It looks now that it would take longer. Also I believe the interest rate is higher.

The acreedor Discover sent to me a notify regard the amount that debt, Attorney Referral Pending Discover, if you do not make a payment arrangements on the Discover card account by 8 pm on October 30, sent to the Attorney.

Paying extra money for discharged amount is still like paying the whole amount owed. Which includes the amount taking out for charges for each payment that is applied to each company balance owed. Some companies are threatening with taking you to court.. Companies sell information account that are being paid by gift.

I thank FDR, for the great help provided by the way of getting me, out of a great financial debt. They encouraged me to introduce two family members and a close family friend to their program. The help, the patience, and their understanding brought great, help to our fears in our financial situations; there so so much more can be said about this great company, but a book is not needed. Recently retired from the Navy with about $25k in debt with multiple credit agencies. FDR helped me consolidate these into one easy monthly payment and they negotiated most of the debts for about 60% or less with very little effort required from me.

Settlement fees are too high, harder for customers to get out of debt sooner and end up paying not a lot less overall. Some Negotiations on “strategic hold” for too long. Doesn’t focus on higher cards first, leaving credit scores lower. Timing for fees being withheld makes negotiations longer.

They lie to get you signed up then do not settle your debt! I had a judgment Placed on me for an account they were supposedly settling. I had to call and make my own Settlement. I had a credit score of 760 when I started this program. Now my score is 540. This company is a waste of time!

When I searched for which was the best agency that would do the settlements and consolidation, FDR came up first. I went with them and the program is good. It's helping me clear up my debts and a lot of issues. We set the payment plan up at the beginning then they notify me every time there is a settlement that is going to happen and if I agree on it. Everything was done correctly and I should be done by February.
