I check out the dashboard at least once a month, and sometimes more than that. However, if one of those opportunities to agree to a settlement came up and I somehow didn't get the message fast enough, I don't know exactly what Freedom Debt Relief would do. Other than that, I'm enjoying their services. It made things easier.

Freedom Debt Relief goes above and beyond expectations. Their legal team is very attentive as well and customer service is considerate and very courteous. I am almost at the end of my contract. Thanks, I have not experienced any problems yet. Thank you so much for helping me get through a very tough financial situation.

This program sounds like a wonderful idea without having to go through bankruptcy. They did not make me feel bad once for my financial mess. The only negative part is too many calls to talk to you when the first person already went over everything with you and it seems repetitive.

I had checked into a reverse mortgage and they told me that one of the accounts you have had been charged off, so I called you. She suggested I call the debtor to find out if it had been. She was very helpful to tell me what to do.

Freedom's service has been good. The reps are very thorough. If I have a question, I get an answer right away. Working with them was very easy. I just had to give them information on my account and they took it from there. It's good because I know that there's an end in sight to my debt and that makes me very happy.

Never thought I would get something done bout my credit issues. Placing extra money in account I can't touch helps a lot. Don't always have time to take care of issues due to working to money. I see my work paying off.

Very friendly staff. Within one month already a settlement. They keep in touch with me and regular updates on progress and offer videos on what to do to help you through many situations. I would recommend the program to others who are in need of consolidating debt.

Some of the communication appointments weren't always kept but were still very good for everything else. The major stress is trying to talk to the debt companies about what is going on with my personal finances. Not paying them was just as hard.

I was comfortable with the reps. But I noticed one time that I got a refund from them for some practices that weren't totally above board. Maybe they didn't give full disclosure but I was reimbursed $400. Other than that, they don't bother me and if I ever have any questions, they answer the phone right away and answer my questions. I could be done with the program within a month and my credit score's starting to go up again.

I am looking forward to someday in the foreseeable future, finally being debt free. I have spent most of my life battling debt. The Freedom Debt Relief program seems promising and the personnel I have interacted with have all been friendly and helpful.

20 months in and my second settlement. The first settlement amount negotiated was less than my original amount and is paid in full. The second account was for a much larger amount and a much more aggressive creditors and the legal team needed to be involved (grateful I signed up for that). Legal was difficult to contact and I’m not sure how hard they worked for me. Ultimately, my debt was not reduced, but I have a payment plan, saved thousands in interest and do not have to pay any additional fees. For all this I am very grateful. There is still one account left, I hope we can negotiate it soon. The entire process will be longer than originally estimated, but everything is much better in my life. Thank you.

I know you are holding my hand though this process. But it's still hard to get the calls and tell them that we can't pay. It definitely humbles you. I wish the bills could be paid up front on the lower amount and I understand how you do this but it's scary to me my stomach is always in knots.

Personal loan for 3 years didn’t qualify. Card not included but, was on my original list. Customer service is hard to get through to. Overall seems A little unorganized and I keep a message that I have a card not included but it clearly is.

I enrolled 11 accounts into this program (2 loans and 9 credit cards). To date, 2 credit cards have been paid off. 1 loan has been settled and is being paid. 4 of the existing credit cards have been settled and are being paid. As of today, there are still 3 cards waiting for settlement. I am very happy with the progress that has been made and can't wait to "graduate".

It's an amazing and very helpful program. Once my debt gets resolved, I'm hunting for a house out of town! I recommend this program to anyone, especially those who need a fixed payment plan each month! When my debt started piling up, I found this program and decided to go for it! They put a lot of my stress at ease. They were very understanding and empathetic towards my situation. I'm chronically ill and I was just trying to get a job that would accommodate my illness. They made my payment so that I could afford it, and then, also, afford to live. They've always been very great. I had a lot of debt, like more than the average customer. All of my debts have taken about a year and a half to two years to pay down. That's because of what I was able to put in. If I was able to put in more, it would have been a lot faster.

Jason, my debt consultant, explained everything really well. Then the customer service people were always there to answer whatever questions. Since working with Freedom, I have more money now in my account because I'm not paying all these credit cards. It's always just the standard payment to them and it's easier to budget monthly.

Updated on 9/24/2022: Everything was handled professionally. Always able to make a phone call when I had any questions and always handled appropriately. When problems came up I was referred to their legal department and everything handled effectively and in a timely manner. Always kept me posted as to what was happening. If I ever have credit problems again, I would definitely use again.

My experience was amazing and easy. A big shoutout to Donna. She was patient, determined, friendly with me. She set all my accounts for an affordable monthly payment. As soon as I got approved, that stress weight was lifted from my shoulders. I feel like I can now breathe and see the myself out of financial debt real soon.

Freedom Debt Relief got me out large credit debt from hospital bills. They saved me a lot of money from credit card interest on the credit cards. The high interest rates on the credit cards was the problem. Could hardly make the monthly payments on each card.

Customer service was fine. Try Freedom out and see if I can help. The only thing that I don't like about the program is that the bills that you're paying off, it's still on your credit. And if somebody calls to check your credit, they can still see that it's not taken care of.

I am in conclusion of my agreement with FDR. The program started great until I realized that all the money you're saving in settlements gets paid back in fees and misc charges. Honestly, a person can do this on their own just by negotiating with creditors. Negotiate and commit to pay your accounts to each creditor. It takes time but can be done. I enrolled $43k in credit card debt and expected these huge savings, but in the end I paid $42k out in total for everything.

Everything is took care of, Lawyers on call for me, no phone calls from any of my creditors and I am just sitting and waiting for the great news of no more bills or high interest. But I only did this at last resort, after anyone turn 62 years old the bank will not talk to you unless you have 100% of money in their bank and I even had a 810 credit score and never been late on a payment. I love Freedom.

My representative was awesome and very helpful. I had to call him with follow up questions and he answered everything I had and advised me how to proceed with my bank and my creditors. I have also reached out to customer service and they were helpful as well.

Overall, the experience with Freedom Debt Relief has been positive. It's taken longer than I was expecting because there was a little bit of a lag but they just negotiated my last debt. I should be graduating by the end of this month. The fact that I don't have any more debt makes me feel great. However, when Freedom Debt Relief completes a debt negotiation, they should take that one step further and report it to the credit bureaus to make sure that they're updated. Once the debt is paid, the credit bureaus may mark them as closed and that negatively impacts the credit because it could say the credit card holder closed the account. Freedom Debt Relief should not just indicate that the accounts are closed, but that they're paid either in full or settled for less which doesn't affect one's credit as badly as just having the account closed.

Great customer service. Seems like a really good program to get out of the crushing debt feeling of too many different payments without putting yourself in another form of crushing debt. I recommend this to anyone with that hopeless feeling.

Apparently Discover Card doesn't work with debt management companies, so Discover has sued me and won a judgment against me. Not that it has been a big deal. So far they've only gotten one state income tax return, so it'll be a while before that one's settled. Other than that, they've seemed to do a fairly decent job. Thanks much!!

I was in the program for 4 years. Every time I called for anything the customer service reps were very helpful and understanding. I recently had to drop the program. The only thing I am not happy with is the amount of time it took just to settle 3 of my debts and I have been continuing to pay 500.00 a month for the next 3 settlements for what I feel is 2 years at least and still have 3 more which my graduation date continues to elongate and it became frustrating and I honestly just couldn’t afford that kind of money every month any longer. I struggled through the pandemic and it has all finally caught up with me financially. At this point I have decided to directly work with the creditors I still owe money to and make payments to them directly. Thank you Freedom Debt Relief for all you did do for me.

I've been dealing with Freedom Debt Relief for years and everybody seems knowledgeable when I speak to them when I have questions. They provide good service. But one of my biggest complaints is that they give you a graduation date from the program, but that’s not the case. It keeps getting extended which is a little frustrating. I’ve spoken to them about it and they said they can only give an estimated settlement date because once they are hands on with the companies to resolve matters, like how quickly the credit card companies will come to an agreement, that's beyond their control. Also, when they settle a debt, for example I owed $3,000 and they settle it for 1,500, the government considers the other 1,500 as income and they kind of want to tax you on that. That's kind of crazy.

They were very helpful and proactive on resolving my issues with the creditors. I have never felt a great relief knowing that I am not overwhelmed with credit card debt. I recommend that anyone who is under pressure with mounting debt should look into this program.

I was told at the get-go this process would take a year or two. Now you are saying 5. I don’t appreciate the change. How can it be so different or were you not being honest at the beginning? 5 years is going to cost a lot in fees. Thinking I should have just went bankrupt. Would have been cheaper.

My experience with Freedom Debt Relief is wonderful. One of the other companies called and ripped me off $1,500. On the other hand, Freedom Debt Relief is doing their job and they didn’t take my money and run out of town and kept adding more money to my bill. It's a very awesome company. They had my back and took care of whatever the problem was. I'm almost debt-free. It saved my life, monkey off my back and the bill collectors are not calling my phone. All in all, they will take care of people's debts and I would recommend them.

Received a summons and kinda freaked out. The person on the phone (wish I remembered his name) was very professional and calmed me down. He assured me that I needed to upload the document and they would handle the situation for me.

Everything was on track. I even upped my deposit amount to end sooner. Then my last account became a nightmare. Couldn’t get the last account closed. Every time I called I received a different answer. American Express started to call me again about the account. So instead of ending earlier it was dragged out. I had to keep calling weekly just to see the status and would get a different answer. It is finally resolved and looks like it will be paid off on the 22nd of this month. It should have been sooner.

My credit score has already come up and I'm back in the good range and heading for excellent. I definitely couldn't have don't it without Freedom Debt Relief. The customer service is excellent and the process was super easy. Managing and accessing my account is convenient as well.

The cost of settlements seem high and time for accounts seem to be a little slow. The dates of settlements can change a lot. I wish dates of settlements would be a little more accurate. I have no idea what happens to my funds after I pay off debts.

I liked the way FDR's plan was stated. They reviewed everything and they told me how much. They also made sure I could afford the payment plan and I agreed to it. It's been a relief. I haven't been as stressed because I've been able to pay them and they deal with the creditors. I don't have to deal with the creditor calls. I didn't want to file bankruptcy, so this was a good alternative. My dad went through a different outfit and the problems he's had, I'm really happy I'm with Freedom.

If I get hit with 1099s. I will have to pay everything twice. I am opting out. I might lose all that I bought and worked hard for. The interest is high but I did it, I rather be in debt long term than lose all that I have.

I recently finished my program with Freedom Debt Relief- The staff and service was amazing- They were always so helpful and knowledgeable every step of the way- This was very welcome since I was in a really stressful situation- Working with this program felt like a 100 pound weight was taken off of my shoulders- My only complaint was the amount of settlement fees that was charged after every settlement as well as a monthly service fee which totalled to over $2900 over a two year period- I want everybody to be aware of this before they consider this program.

Sometimes I question why do you arrange small payments which make the settlement longer. Please explain. I'm looking forward to finishing my debt. Please tell me my expected pay off date. I called FDR to let them know I was being served by one of my debtor and asked for my legal service. I was told I didn't purchase one. I ended up spending few hundreds to for my legal services recommended by FDR. Later on I was never asked more money. I assumed that I was indeed covered!

The business is very professional. The customer service department was very courteous and helpful with the questions I had. They worked with me on a good timeline for when I can start my deductions. They made sure all my debts were enrolled. Even some that I had forgotten about.

There are more hidden fees than I expected but after I ran up my credit cards due to illness, they have made it easier to pay them off! Not sure I would do this again because I wasn't behind in payments, I was just maxed out.

My plan should have already been completed. After paying for about a year and a half Freedom contacted me wanting me to refinance all the debt into one through a company called Greentree. I said no and then they stop working my case efficiently. I missed one payment over the years and made that up the very next month. So I wasn't behind at any point while a settlement was being negotiated. So my finish date came and went and they still had one more creditor to settle. I had to add money to my account to get them to negotiate a settlement for the last one. If you don't except their suggestions they stop working your case.

With everything going on in this world today it's a relief to know I have help with my hardship situation and am able to get some sleep not worrying so much!! I cannot survive on my s.s. check so relied on credit cards!! Which got me in trouble!!

We could not have done it without Freedom Debt Relief. They have been wonderful to work with and have done a fabulous job knocking down our debt. They have done all the hard work and we do the easy part by just depositing the fixed amount every month which works well with our budget and no more calls from collection agencies.

Having done this was a good idea but we really didn't realize what the rough start was going to be like with the credit score going down and collection calls/letters. But by the time all our debtors when to collection and Freedom Debt Relief got a hold of everyone and work things out it started to stabilize. They are working on it still but things are looking up for the future.

I have some different kinds of debt from credit cards and personal loans about $30,000. I picked a package. I discussed with FDR how much it will be monthly and they gave me the quote on how much it will be. They'll cover all the negotiations, even the legal ones. It is really going very good so far. The account I had, most of them are the banks, so they talked with them. When these become due for some time and the bank also tries to close it, our negotiators will start negotiating with them. They always reduce more than 50% of the amount. Whenever I got an issue from any collector, they've responded very well. One of my accounts went to the legal part and in court. They had a legal firm to help me out. They have always been prompt and gave me the support.

I wish there was more communication from Freedom Debt to me. I also wish we had more communication with negotiators. It seems as if it should go faster. The last debt I had settled was less than $1000.00 when I entered the program. It was just settled for more than double what I owed. That feels frustrating.

Lauren ** does not return phone calls or emails! Jacob ** does not return emails! NO ONE returns phone calls or email messages! All we get in response is automated email messages on videos to watch. I don’t want a video, I want a live person to talk to! It’s like once you’re enrolled they don’t care about your issues! Dashboard stopped working for us & no one will return a message to us on how to fix it! Horrible, horrible way to handle new customers to the program! We will NOT recommend your services to anyone!

I am pleased that I found this experience and I am open to the assistance and provision that will be provided for me by Freedom and direction that FDR will provide to assist with the debt relief from creditors. The process was explained in detail and made clear.

I am just getting started with your company and am excited to begin this experience. I am hoping to at least have some credibility with my creditors in the near future. I can't write any more, because I am not sure what will happen.

Updated on 10/14/2022: It take a while but it is worth the time. It started off really slow. My mother was asking so many questions. She was losing her patience because she did not know it a process. But she is very happy that we are on the last card.

Told me she would send me a link to look to see who the creditors were. She never did and deleted my three creditors. I might not of been the friendliest person but I wanted to know who the three creditors were. I spoken to other people there and they’ve always told me who the creditors where. And now I can’t even look myself because she deleted them. I told her in the past I’ve had things over 15 years. I also told her I thought to leave the 2 capital ones.

They provide a monthly update. If you ask a question via email they answer it on the same day, which is really important to me anyways. If any problem/s arise they contact you with easy to resolve answers. Highly recommend them to anyone who has credit problems. Make the call that is the hardest part but you will be happy you did. My credit score has changed already and I still have a while before my account is totally paid back.

FDR told me they were getting no response from the people who they were handling my debt with JPMCB. I was able to obtain info from my credit report regarding my account being closed so I uploaded that document to my portal to help FDR settle my file.

I don’t know what I would have done. With the help of FDR I have been able to get myself out of debt and raise my credit score. I was still able to live with on my means and pay my house payment and put food on the table. I couldn’t be happier. I appreciate the chance they have given for a better future debt free

So far my experience has been great. I like have the security of their help with getting my debt resolved and not having to deal with the calls, emails and collection notices. This program enabled me to continue to try to pay debt that I incurred without having to file bankruptcy which would have been the alternative.

I am giving a neutral rating. On the positive, any and all interactions with customer service were always friendly and helpful. The rating was due to the fact that I feel things were dragged out. Monies were held longer before coming to a settlement. I had given an extra $5,000.00 and expected an earlier ending date. The money sat there. Later payments were not made because it was $10.00 short for a payment. Yet they took out $10.00 a month check fee to pay one company. A monthly fee for lawyers (even though not used each month) and another monthly processing also. By the time some debts were ready to pay off, they had doubled in what was owed. With this said, I am appreciative that I was able to pay off my debt with the help of this company.

The truth of the matter is FDR is too expensive. They have done a good job reducing my balances I owe to my creditors but their fees make up for it. Other than that they're great. I maybe canceling soon. I have been with them over two years and only have one debt settled.

Keep up with your deposit and your debt will go away. Takes about 6 months to see the first settlement. If you can increase your deposit do it. It will help at the end. If an account goes to court or attorney be ready to deposit more money for a few months into the account to get a good settlement.

I have been satisfied most of the time. Most people are easy to talk to. Looking forward to the end when I can get back my money each month. I am 75 years old and want debt paid before I leave this world so my kids do not have to worry about it.

The communication was excellent. The timeliness of settling my debt was good. Not sure that the sequence of settling was the best, but everyone is paid now. I would tell my friends and family to use this service. One thing I was not happy with is that there is a lot of money sitting in my account and I did not owe that much.

I just got started so my first impressions have been good. They are in constant contact with me so I feel like they have my back. I’m looking forward for a great resolution to my debt issues. My initial contact was a pleasant experience.

The reps that I worked with at FDR were very good. I get communication all the time. Working with them took a lot of stress out of my life. At first, it was awful, till we got through the tough parts of the negotiation. But then it was much better, it was a relief. However, they would send an email and they'd say I'd have to act right away. I also didn't know that I would be getting served papers, which was frightening. But that was the only thing. What FDR does is they break it down. You're not getting away with anything, You're paying what you owe. Interest is astronomical and ridiculous. It was such a benefit to have that broken down. They played the middleman, which was great.

Cynthia was very, very helpful, very accommodating, very assuring. She did a great job of calming my fears about getting a notice of a litigation filed against me. She went out of her way to tell me not to worry, to simply follow directives she gave, and to celebrate my birthday in peace and joy! She is a treasure!!!

Before FDR I paid my bills EVERY month. At your direction, I stopped, to pay you. Now I am being sued. I'm told I have legal help but I can't talk to them. That's not ok. I just need to have a conversation, WITH LEGAL, about my situation. When I call I get the same answers "They'll reach out if they need to contact you." Well the legal document is in MY NAME, not yours, so I need to know if something is, or is not, happening so I know how to protect myself. I have a deadline given by the court that I must meet. As a customer who chose to work with FDR, and BECAUSE of working with FDR, I am being sued. So I would think you would allow your customers access to the legal help you SAY you offer as a support. I have seen nothing of it. I am being denied access to the legal support and my clock is running on my legal response.

I was told in May the last of my accounts would be completed by Aug at latest even if paid in full. I gave enough money to take care of this. It is now Oct. There are still two accounts and my security clearance is about to stripped and I am now the only one working in our house and about to lose my job.

I’m just in the middle of 48 months program, and so far things going predictable. Final review I think, will tell everything, after 48 months. I had several times call, and representatives are courteous, knowledgeable and respectful, what they promised, they delivered!

I was very pleased with the way that my account was handled, not to mention the way that I was personally instructed with procedures. I have full confidence in your company and especially with my counselor. It's very humiliating to even have to sign up for this type of help, but through a series of circumstances, it became necessary.

I am going through a divorce and my ex husband to be, is responsible for half of the debt owed. I was given a number that is supposedly half. I asked her if I were to pay it off today, I need the proper amount. Then, she put it in writing and it says it may not be final. Makes me feel like you’re talking out of both sides of your mouth, so to speak. Why can’t I be given an amount, that is the final and proper amount?

They call me by name and they don't make me feel guilty for being an idiot. When we came into a legal snag, they fixed it up right away and I didn't have to sweat anything. They had a legal team right there and it didn't cost me a penny. In fact, I got a rebate from them. I've been with the company for a couple of years now and I have about one more year to go. My credit rating started at a low 300 and it's now up to almost 700. I'm impressed with Freedom very much and I love them. I've been telling all my family and friends that have debt problems, especially the COVID thing, about the company. Go with Freedom because they're trustworthy.

I had five different accounts with FDR. Two of them were totally resolved, one will finish up next month, and then the other two will take another year or so to finish up. The last account that they took on, it took them a while to negotiate a price. But it was more of the company that they were dealing with than they themselves. I was constantly getting phone calls from this last account, and I even got one in the last couple of weeks after they had already worked out a deal. The few times I answered and talked to them, I tried to explain that I was working with a company that was trying to work out the payment that I couldn't do at that time. Overall, FDR is taking care of things and I've recommended them to several people that I know.
