It’s been good since I started, was able to cope with the creditors calling me here and there but at time is frustrating but so far everything is good and just praying that at last this debts would be a thing of story and I would be able to tell people more about my experience.

Very friendly and confident in their work with the customer. They have set up videos with real customers' challenges and success stories. The companies do get paid in a timely manner. All you have to do is follow their guidelines to get everything in a successful manner.

I wish I never went into this program! I was current on all my accounts. I have ruined my credit and will be in this situation for four or more years! I have been misled. Your advice has been horrible. I wish I could file a lawsuit against this company.

The people in this department are professional, polite and knowledgeable. I refuse to comment on any other department because I do have issues with them and am not a happy customer. The customer service that I have received so far has been extremely helpful. I was very concerned about my debt and the situation surrounding that and the person who helped was amazing in comforting me and making me feel better about my decision. I was even contacted by another company and almost bullied into letting them help me and saying that the Freedom Debt Relief company was lying and had no way to offer me the deal that was proposed. Through all of this, the person I worked with was incredible and so far the process has been easy and I am appreciative of Freedom and I anticipate a great professional relationship over the upcoming months while I repair my credit and get my debt under control so that I can have more control over my finances and life.

’ve used Freedom Debt Relief in the past. I had lost my job and all my credit cards were bundling back up. I liked their rep. I asked if I could make the payments every other week and they were willing to work with me on that instead of just one lump sum. Overall, Freedom Debt Relief is pretty good and I'm satisfied with them. I even recommend people to use them too. They helped me out in ways that I didn’t think they could.

I have four enrolled debts and they just got the third one rolling. I have another four to six months until the final one starts and everything has been met well below the original debt number. Everything has been great and I'm happy, so far.

The enrollment process at Freedom was fine. I am still in the program, but I have had some issues, like them not calling all my debtors when I first gave them the list so that they know that Freedom was the contact person. They only call them when they get ready to negotiate a settlement, whereas I've got people hanging out there almost three years now, wanting money from me. I'm still getting calls because Freedom Debt Relief hasn't called them because they're not ready to negotiate. For an old woman who's on a fixed income, this is not what I had in mind. I've had to seek out the legal aspect of it because they couldn't come to an agreement to decrease on a couple of them. I'm not happy with Freedom Debt Relief.

I would recommend debt relief. I have a big burden lifted off my shoulders. Since I consolidated my debt I don't have to worry anymore about where I'm going to get the money to pay each credit card. They made me feel good about dealing with them.

Most debt consolidation progrAms come w/ tons of paperwork. This program is completed on the phone and computer with people who walk you through the process explaining everything and answering your questions. The program works. Creditor calls stop. Bills get paid off. One breathes a little easier and one's credit scores start fixing themselves rather effortlessly. I recommend this program to anyone dealing with overwhelming debt.

Tina was extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. I had called in a few minutes earlier and had gotten someone else and he referred me to NLLG. I really feel your settlement fees are expensive. The money I Save isn’t quite as expected but overall it is in the good category. On one of my small settlements you stated I saved 80 % but I really didn’t save 5% after your fees,

I just got done paying on my debts. This experience caused me more stress! While my debts are paid now, I would not recommend this to anyone else. There are better ways to negotiate debt. Lesson learned! I would recommend other options before trying this one.

My original settlement contract with my account at Navy Federal was erroneously voided. It took several weeks to resolve. During that time I was flooded with texts and emails asking me to accept a new settlement. Causing A LOT of stress and anxiety I did not need or deserve! Communication was lacking and I was not given any real answers. I had to call in several times to try and push for a resolve. This was a horrible experience. Once I am finished paying this I hope to never need it again, and will NOT be recommending it to anyone I know.

Freedom Debt Relief has been easy to work with and they are helpful. My expectation was that they would negotiate for large reductions in debt because of their size but with fees it works out to the same amount if I had made a schedule and paid it off myself. I recommend them if you are truly in a bind and overwhelmed. If you have more leeway, do it yourself.

I signed up with Freedom Debt Relief and submitted all my cards. After a year, they gave me an interview and said I was qualified for the Freedom Loan Trust. I didn't realize that if I was with Freedom Debt Relief, I would graduate in 2022. But now I’m with TrustLoan and I'm not going to graduate until 2024. When I realized this, it was too late. The good thing about this is that after six months, I can refinance and get my interest rate dropped or I could also take out another loan.
Overall, my experience with FDR has been wonderful. Every time I call, the most I can wait is five minutes and their reps always answer my questions. At first, my creditors would call me five times a day, every day. With FDR I have more peace of mind. They just say I should ignore the creditors or give them the number for them to call Freedom Debt Relief. Now that all my bills are settled and paid by Freedom Debt Trust it's even better. It's gonna take me two extra years, but there's a relief. Nobody's calling me anymore and my credit score has gone up. They took 21 points off my credit and I didn't know why my score was picking up. When I called Freedom, the rep I spoke with said that maybe one of my credit cards had been paid off and they haven't reported it. She also said that after a couple of months, I'm gonna see my credit score growing even more.

When I first enrolled ALL my debt in the program, I was given a completion date. Three years in and I keep seeing that date change. The customer service when I've called in can never give me straight answers and they never seem to know the answers to my questions, or where to direct me so that I can get my questions answered. The rep I spoke with sold FDR and I've been completely satisfied. They have been good to me. I now have a more breathable financial space. My minimums were like $800 something a month, and with FDR I'm doing $410 a month so that gives me an extra $400 in my pocket that I didn't have. That is a huge impact. My neighbor was considering some debt relief and I recommended FDR to her.

Freedom was supposed to have this account targeted for advanced negotiation. I had to call 3 times to ensure it was prioritized. Santana from legal promised to call me back on 1/25, and I received no call. I will not recommend Freedom after my accounts are settled.

Not turning out as explained when I signed up. Great salesmen with wonderful lines, I totally believed them, now I just shake my head in unbelief because I'm now committed to the end, if they were honest up front I would probably have been better to pay off my smaller accounts and put the others on a three year payment plan instead of trashing my credit and then have their "sister" company offer me a loan to settle accounts quicker. What happened to the assurance that with the amount agreed up front to be going to FDR each month all my accounts would be in a settlement agreement by the first year?

My savings is diminishing because after almost doubling of the debt through interest, and you counting my savings off of the final (higher amount) than the original, I several cases, I have paid you as much or more than my original debt. Some savings have been significant, but those savings are whittling down with the lack of savings due to accrued interest. I try to consider my not having to deal with this and you taking care of everything in the bargain, as me paying you for doing it, but I effectively pay you more than the 22% you charge, due to the horrible amount of accrued interest on some of the accounts.

I am still aggravated about this. I don’t know what Synchrony acct. it is, but I answered the phone about a month ago, and it was a call regarding the JCPenney acct. I told them FDR was handling all of my creditor, and they said they knew nothing about FDR. I’ve been with the program a year and a half. I’m going through all of this plus a divorce, on top of being housebound for 12 years due to a spinal cord injury. I’m awaiting reconstructive surgery, but I’ve got to move before that can happen. I’m on a fixed income right now, after having money all my life. It’s the hardest thing I’ve gone through in my life. But, I know, God will carry be through it all. Have a blessed day.

I was looking online for some relief in getting out of debt. I came across Freedom and I called them about what their program consisted of. I got interested in Freedom because it was like I could get out of debt roughly paying 900 and some bucks a month for a short period of time, and then I could clear my debt up. At one point, I worked with one person and then after that, it was who picked up the phone and called. Every last one of the people that I talked to was very cordial and helpful, so I had no anxieties or problems with what I was doing or how everything's supposed to go. They explained everything to me.
It was a good experience. I’ve talked to people at school about it and let them know that that's how I was able to get a few things squared away. I was able to get some things where my collection balance has dropped and my credit score is looking good. I've also noticed that we have resolved one of the issues that was in the lineup for the debt consolidation. The negotiation that was being done was definitely a positive, so I’ll continue doing what I'm doing. I've recently added another account to my account for debt relief.

Freedom's rating was good and I did some investigating on the complaints, and it wasn't a whole lot of them. Plus, whatever they had, it was resolved, so I felt more comfortable with them. Erin was nice and he was really good. In the beginning, I was skeptical about doing the program and I didn't do it soon as I spoke with him. For one thing, it was a scary process because my bills were always paid on time. Erin gave me some time to think about it and he worked with me. I waited a little bit, did my homework as well and after a while, I felt comfortable with doing the program. However, I have a thing about stuff online and I don't like to do everything online. Most of my stuff was done on the phone, while a few things were by email.
Whenever I had a question or needed more details on something, I called and their customer service representatives were very good with answering my questions and going far and beyond the scope of their job performance. They're very professional and courteous. I never had one that sounded agitated. They also expedite things. They're good with doing what they're supposed to do. I like the service. Things don't happen overnight, but it’s been a big help to me. I used to have a very good credit rating and I like the fact that one day soon, I'll get my credit back to good standing like it was.

Such a bad experience and I just recently found out I was lied to by the staff that worked my case. I felt like I was also pushed into the loan and I was lied to about that. Also all the numbers show I just should have worked on paying my debt off on my own. This program just ended up costing me more problems more bad credit and more debt. Also you can make money off my emotions and I have tried calling. No one will talk to me to explain why I was lied to about one of my accounts.

We made the HORRIBLE mistake of using FDR to help with our creditors. Do yourselves a favor and deal with the creditors yourselves & save your credit score!! These people are not in it to help you. They only want to make money off your financial mistake. I wanted to pay the entire balance approximately 4 months earlier than the 'graduation' date. That never happened because these people are inept and were never able to figure how I could pay my creditor off earlier. DO NOT USE FDR or any other debt relief service. Deal with your creditors yourselves!!!

Freedom has been great. Anytime I've had a question, they responded right away, especially at the beginning when I was having to close the accounts and get everybody on board. Freedom helped deal with a lot of the persistent phone calls. It was a lot to deal with. Being able to have somebody to help me with it took a lot of the pressure off and then getting used to the bi-monthly payments and working within a budget helped take away the whole randomness of it. It helped bring everything into order and be able to see this wasn't so overwhelming. It seems such a long ways away, but I'm getting there. By 2023, I'll have all of this cleared up, so it's nice. I'm completely satisfied. They made the whole process easy to deal with.

I would highly recommend a friend because FDR has really help me. This program took a lot of stress off me immediately. After I signed up with the program it was a relief right away. I was underwater with my credit card debt and I had to do something. I looked online for companies that did that type of thing. I knew they were out there. Freedom Debt Relief came up and they had some good reviews. I called them and they seemed easy to work with. Right away, they sent me a folder in the mail with all their services. I signed up with them and registered my debt. It was easy to do and gave me relief right away. They were very sympathetic and informative, and told me how they did it. It seems reasonable to me. The program relieved an awful lot of stress for me and I always feel like I have control as I go through the program. I can always reach out, and they're easy to get ahold of. I can track my success on their website, so that's good. They're always there too.

I have been pleased with the initial process of this whole program. However, in the past few months it seems things seem to be extending into the future. Several months seem to have been added on to the end of what was initially discussed with us. One of the accounts we initially enrolled has been sent to us for approval to enroll (AGAIN). In doing the math, I'm not so sure we are going to end up saving NEAR as much as we were led to believe we would.

Freedom Debt Relief took a list of my debts and tried to get them reduced. Everything had been reduced. Part of my reasons for my indebtedness was I got scammed. My husband died in June of 2016 and I was trying to find a way to make a little more money so I'd have a little bit more coming in than what I was gonna have. The next thing I know, everybody was gonna give me the world and I got taken.
I was gonna try to work online and one company was going to help me get that all up. Every little move they made cost money, money, and more money. I told them I didn't have any more to put in. They reached out and got me a "loan" through PayPal. Before I knew it, PayPal had put out money for something I never got. The company did not do what they were supposed to do with the money and I received absolutely nothing so I told them I wasn't gonna pay it. PayPal never bothered me about it since.
However, right now, Freedom Debt Relief reached out and they want to add that bill to my account because they have gotten it reduced, without me even telling them. I told them once that I wasn't gonna pay that because I didn't feel I had owed it and they left me alone about it. But now they're doing it again because it's getting close to the end of my payments. I’m not happy about that. Overall, Freedom Debt Relief is just trying to stir up business at this point. I hope that when I'm through, I'm through.
I’m not overly satisfied and yet I’m not 100% against Freedom Debt Relief either. They are doing good at what they're doing. But they’re reaching out to see if there’s anything else that they can get me on the line for. With the PayPal account, they notified me that I need to accept it or I'll lose it. I wasn’t gonna pay it anyway. I would talk to PayPal about it again, if necessary. I'm sure that PayPal and I could come to some kind of agreement. That's been well over two years ago.
Also, Freedom Debt Relief draws right out of the checking account on my payments. There was a time when I had to change my checking account and I notified them. They shut it down and at that point, they said that I left the program. I called them up and chewed them out about it. They got it straightened out. Anybody that goes with them needs to stay on top of what's going on.

Before we even decided to do Freedom Debt Relief, they had programs on YouTube. We listened to the people who are talking about them and we decided to go with them. Originally when we started, we had a certain amount. We listed all our credit cards then they went over them and they decided which ones needed to be taken care of right away. They're very professional and courteous. You call and you speak to whoever it is and when you have a question, they're always there to answer it. We haven't had any problems with them at all. From the time we started, Dan called, checked on us, and wanted to know how everything was going. Every time something was resolved, we would get a little congratulations note from him.
Freedom Debt Relief is great. We have another year with them and so far, it's going good. It started out when we weren't too sure what the process was going to be like. I never had to deal with something like this before and we kept on getting calls from the creditors. "You haven't paid this," and I explain to them. In fact, one of the credit companies said, "Well, we don't deal with Freedom Debt Relief." I said, "Well, I'm sorry. You'll have to contact them." It didn't happen right away. It turned out as time went on, they decided to wheel and deal.

I love Freedom Debt Relief. The only reason I did not give them five stars is because one of my credit cards got sent to court and it was hard to get FDR attorneys to represent me. Updated on 05/21/2021: Fast and good, Freedom team are help me a lot for my credit cards, I am having 7acts, 6 acts have done. Only 1 act left, I am really appreciate what they done for me (save my life), one more it’s will be clean my debt credit cards.

Only settled 1 out of 5 in a year. Pulled payment early causing me to bounce checks twice. Fees are outrageous. Regret ever signing up for this thing. I could have done more by myself with less money. Would not recommend anybody do this.

Updated on 3/27/2021: I’m so far am okay with this Freedom Debt Relief program. I don’t feel stressed out and that’s a great thing. At least I can pay my bills and other things. I’m managing my life better. I also feel like I will pay off my bills faster and have some normal things instead.

Updated on 01/18/2023: I can’t believe I did it. I really did it. FDR saved my life - I nearly filed for bankruptcy but they basically saved my life and financial future. I fell into extreme financial hardship and had to make difficult and unwise financial decisions to survive and that added up into serious debt later on. After doing some research I discovered FDR and the representative treated me like a person and came up with a plan for me to get my life back. After many years I made every payment on time and now it’s over. My debt is clear!!!! Thank you FDR. I’d recommend it to anyone I know struggling to find a fair and humane debt consolidation program.
Original Review: I was doing research on debt relief companies and FDR was the one that had the best reviews so I kind of went for it. My rep was great. When my friend fell into hard times, I referred her to him and he pointed her in the right direction even though they couldn't take her. FDR took a load off me. I almost was gonna file bankruptcy. They talked me out of doing that and I'm glad I didn’t do that. Knowing that they're taking care of my debt is nice.

Some of my accounts were not past due when I signed up. There was no attempt to settle them at that time so the payments and past due fees ramped up quickly and the amount owed is twice what I started with. When the accounts get settled at 50% of the total, it's what I owed in the first place. So no savings to me and my credit is negatively affected.

I had MASSIVE debt that I swallowed as the breadwinner in a divorce in a No Fault divorce state. It was either absorb debt or pay the ex-cash. That was NOT happening. FDR has helped me with being sued and they *handle* lowering the amounts owed for me. I have a reasonable monthly payment. I am GRATEFUL.

This program is very good. Since I signed up with them to pay off my debts, I am experience a lot of relieves from calls from debtors, late payments and charges, my credit score has become steady and it is going up little by little. I thank God I met the people. The monthly (I am doing the biweekly payment) is just a fraction of what I used to pay and it was very difficult for me at that time. I am worry-free now.

I'm on disability and had forgotten to call to get the payment altered. Deferred, halved, whatever could be done. I had waited too late and nothing could be done. He was willing to get me numbers for crossroads and seemed ready to help me with anything, including dishes, if he could and I really appreciate it. He was very kind and considerate.
