I was pleased with the temporary stop on my payments. However, I was to be notified before contributions began again. I wasn't and I am unable as yet to afford the deductions. I will communicate tomorrow to defer payments again.

I was hesitant when first reviewing Freedom Debt Relief, but through their experts and transparency I joined and I am so glad I did. I have several debts settled at more than 50% of what I owed and I am grateful for this service!

I have been working with your people for almost 4 months trying to pay a settlement. Plenty of people working on this problem but no solution yet. I sent more money 3 times and am continually told I owe more. Where is my money going and why no follow up as promised or solution.

Always courteous and informative. I really enjoy the interaction. Speaking with many different representatives. I like being able to access my account on the dashboard. The dashboard gives such good information to keep me ahead of any future problems that may arise.

I appreciate the help to reduce and eliminate my debt but where I believe there could use improvement is with debt rebuilding. My score dropped to low 500's and I have had problems with trying to get it to raise back up and finding honest tricks that work. I wish they added a course on ways to improve your score after the program.

I’m happy to see my bills is now getting paid at this time so thank you very much and my credit will be back like it used to be because I do need my credit in the future. So keep doing want you do. I appreciate your help on my credit because I do need it in the future.

I called the first time and the lady couldn't answer my questions and gave me wrong information. She transferred me to the legal team and I got some answers. After calling back, the next person I talked to told me the exact same thing as the legal team and did a Great job answering all my concerns that I had.

I contacted Freedom because I have several issues, not only with the debt but also on my credit. And since then, I'm not completely satisfied with where my credit score is right now, but we have a little progress on it. I’m satisfied with Freedom's services. The only thing is, sometimes as the customer, you don’t have a hand on how much the client will accept, not on the percentage when they do the settlement, but on the length of the payments. Sometimes you prefer to have the settlement to quickly finish, but it also depends on how much the deposit that you're doing every month. So, it's not completely them. Sometimes, it's also on our side. If we put more deposit, I'm sure it will be quicker. I will recommend Freedom to any of my friends since they helped me by settling a few cases since the day I met them. They worked perfectly for me.

They take your debt and deal with the people you owe and get a debt reduction for each one. You just wait for the final balance and they make the payments out of the monthly money you send to a special account.

I was very surprised and grateful that my first offer was accepted so quickly by my creditor. This method really works. I felt such relief and hopeful that the rest of the creditors will accept your offers as easily as this first one did. All I can say is I am extremely happy with your exceptional service. Thank you!

I have been working with FDR for approximately 5 months now and my first debt has been successfully negotiated. I had wished for quicker resolution but understand my creditors have to feel that I am under a financial bind and to do so a negative impact needs to happen. So far so good... Thank you FDR.

I was very pleased how easy it was to get set up for the program. The staff was very helpful and took time to make sure I understood what the program was about. Thank you so much for helping me get out of debt.

What I didn't like were the fees associated with the settlements. There was no consistency. A settlement of small size produced fees almost equal to the savings, where a larger settlement may only have generated a small percentage. The other minus was trying to finish up the program. It was a battle to end it. Also was not told that it would take weeks to months to complete closing out and get refunded any balance. In the meantime they continue to charge acct maintenance fees. And my credit is ruined now I have to start all over to rebuild.

I am very happy with Freedom Debt Relief. I am so glad I enrolled in their program. I had many credit cards that I never would have been able to pay off on my own. Thanks to them, I will finally have financial stability. It is great to have someone negotiate on your behalf.

Signing up was difficult at first because the guy I called said that I should cut my credit cards up so I would not use them. Just stop paying them and they would take care of everything, but that was not the way it happened. I told him we were in the process of switching banks from Community First to VyStar. And he said, "As soon as you get it changed, let me know what the number is and everything." So, when we did, I called him up, but that didn't happen. I got charged $68 because Freedom tried to get the 436 out of Community First when it was nothing there. That was a mishap because he told me afterwards, "Oh, I can't get that information on my phone." "Well, then why did you tell me to do it?" I called up, gave them all the information, and they started taking everything out of VyStar. But in the meantime, I'm out 68 bucks, and, "Oh, well, they don't want to give it back to me. Oh, well." That's a loss.

I am very thankful to have come across this company on Instagram. It’s nice to know that I will be debt free much sooner than I thought. Thank you for helping people get control of their debt and live better lives.

Yes I would recommend FDR to someone. FDR has been very good with reducing my debts. The associates have been very helpful and easy to contact. The videos have been very helpful and to interesting to me. FDR has been very easy to contact both by phone and other means.

Seems like they just let it add up. Don't really see you save anything...Only good thing is you don't have to deal with anyone. Looks to me 4 yrs going to go into 20..not much else to say. Ended up paying more on some than I would have if I would of done it myself..small ones got big.

I am really not happy that it looks like years till I pay off debt and looks like saving but added interest and fees makes it looks like big savings when it is actually something I could have done myself.

I have a fair opinion about the program. Although no one could have anticipated COVID-19 and the impact to the financial community. Freedom appeared to not assist in restructuring current programs. I don’t feel that is helpful at a time when families are also dealing with tragedy throughout immediate families and friends. The initial reason for getting into the program was to improve one’s financial obligations but it seems that there has to be a willing to adjusting based on the circumstances.

They are getting my debts lowered and answer my questions that I don't understand. I hope to be debt free a lot sooner with this company. I would recommend anybody that does need help to give them a try. It is worth it. I have had no problems with them.

In hindsight I wish I had just taken out a loan to pay the total debt instead, the only reason is that your credit is wrecked in the process. You do save quite a bit with this program over what you would pay paying the debt outright. Overall it is a good program and reduces what you owe by at least half (just be prepared to have horrible credit while going through process).

I liked the feedback on Freedom that I saw from the customers. The rep was very helpful. If I have questions, I get answers. I had one debt that should not have been turned over to the court. It was a Citibank that was less than $3,000. There was no way it should have been turned over. I don't always know how Freedom figures out who they will pay off first. I'm sure it's all on the negotiation factors. But that's the only complaint I have with the one because that should have been a lot less than what it was. Also, they could stretch out the fees a bit different and get accounts paid off quicker. But they gave a way of getting things straightened out.

I don't know how to thanks you staff, when they give me some information. I had so many question and thinging. I called few time to asked them. They answered very clear and help me to understand. If I have another question again. They should help me to clear. So I will recommended my friend if they need to help. Thanks.

A friend told me about Freedom Debt Relief and I called. The customer service representative was very courteous, knowledgeable and patient in helping me understand what I had to do to clear up my debt and how Freedom would be of help step by step. It has been less than a year and some of my accounts have been settled and more are in the process.

I am new to this program and pleased as today. I am waiting for my Welcome Pack. I feel a relief and I will feel a lot better after I get my first settlement. Waiting has been a bit hard but I understand that is to be expected.

Helps to get updates that everything is progressing okay... (due to the fear from not answering creditor phone calls.) I didn't know if they've all been called until I called and asked. But when I called they were very friendly and helpful.

I keep getting same text to call about a acct with fraud on it. Ive called you all 3 times and they say, "Yes it's been taken care of." But I just received another one. The fraud has been released along time ago. I have accts now going to be charged off and be negative on my credit report. Kimberly **.

Would have rated the experience higher but had one bad experience with customer service. Also, felt there were too many instances of lawsuits as if no one was actively managing and reviewing statuses on accounts within our list of obligations. Would recommend to others.

I was stressed out with the loss of jobs and needing work. Talked with this company after looking online about choices that could be made. I wanted debt to be paid but not possible with the 30% interest being added and late fees. They explained the how and the cost. It fit my need and understood the plan. I will be debt free in 4 years.

Late payment by FDR caused the creditor to get an attorney and thus serve me with court papers. In order to contact me, the sheriff contacted my ex husband, and alerting him of there being a credit issue. The icing - being served at my place of work. All this could have been avoided had FDR paid my creditor on time, arrangements were already in place to pay off their amount. Just disappointed over the whole ordeal. Otherwise, more than satisfied with their negotiations up to this point.

Excellent service from FDR and I thank you. I hope to get back to work soon and continue trying to make payments as before. Out of work since early September 2020 and it's not looking good here. Even at 69 I am in good health and enjoy my work. Just don't move as fast as the younger guys.

Freedom Debt Relief has been very easy to go through the process of preparing your accounts and filing the necessary forms needed to file with Freedom Debt Relief. I received calls from my credit Relief coach pretty regular to let me know how my case was coming along. All very nice.

I can't say enough good things about Freedom Debt Relief. They were courteous and extremely helpful. The two associates, Shaun and Brad helped me through the whole process. Now I can sleep at night knowing I am doing my best to meet my obligations.

I looked at two or three companies on the internet and Freedom Debt seemed to have the better reviews. Initially, the young man was so helpful. I talked to him two or three times and he told me exactly what was gonna happen and how they were going to do it so I was prepared. I watched the videos on how to talk to the creditors who would call hounding me and I enjoyed knowing what to do when they call. Every time I had a question and called customer service, everybody I talked to was excellent. Other than the harassment calls I've got from creditors, everything was good. I handled it just like they told me to. I started a dedicated account with them and started making monthly deposits. I had nine and they settled them one at a time. Finally, I got them all paid off. I would highly recommend them to anyone that in this position I was in.

I enrolled into a debt relief plan with FDR in 2018. In October of 2020 I choose to make a one time deposit over the total FDR estimated total settlement amount in order to expedite the last 2 settlements early and move on. I contacted FDR and verified the amount due. I informed them I would stop the monthly automatic bank deposit and asked them to expedite the last 2 settlements. They agreed. It's been almost 5 months and FDR has deposited my money in their account, suspended my account since the automatic bank withdrawal was cancelled, not responded to my emails, and not settled the last 2 accounts! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM !

I've been in the program for two years and my credit scores have gone up. Also, their customer service is great.

I am impressed from the beginning of my process till the very end of resolution. Communication was kept open every step of the way prior making a decision. All communication was not only placed with a direct call, in addition to an email.

Your company has been very accurate with the timeline for resolving payments and have good visuals on your website. I am very happy with the progress that I have made and how you keep in touch with me with items that require my attention.

I'm happy with their customer service, but when I signed up it was for $300 per month but it's taken it bi-Weekly which causes us hardship. When I spoke to them there was nothing they could do. This causes some payments not met.

Customer service was always very helpful and answered all my questions in detail each time something came up. As promised Freedom Debt Relief helped me get debt free. It took me just over 5 years but now I can move on in life knowing that I don't have a burden still on my back.

FDR service has been great until the most recent settlement (which did go to litigation) with Comenity Bank, specifically the Meijer’s account. Comenity has been reported to the BBB because of deceptive practices in which they have been given permission to automatically withdraw payments from a debtors to a creditor, say for $200, but when the very last payment on a debt is due under the amount typically withdrawn, say $120, they do not withdraw it and then apply late fees to said account and do not work with the person who has made EVERY payment to that point on time. Comenity has lost business for the company’s, like Meijer’s, Sears, and others, they represent. My experience has been no different.

I have been very pleased with all aspects of your service but wish I didn't have to deal with IRS when filing because of creditor 1099's. Customer service people are all very helpful and pleasant. I would definitely recommend FDR to my friends.

I have tried several other places to get help and only got denied. I then tried Freedom and accepted right away. 2020 was such a horrible year for our family. Thank you for all your help. I really needed it.

Well they were very polite and explain what was going on, took their time to make sure I knew what was going on. Made sure I understood what was going on and made sure I was completely satisfied. Explained that they are working very hard to get all my debt settled as fast as possible to get me back on track.

The lady I dealt with when I originally started was awesome. She did help me follow up and do some things that I needed. My experience was excellent. They answered all my questions, got my debt going on for me and everything seemed to be fine. They've done everything we asked them to do. But it'd be nice to have a case manager. You have their name in the phone, they call you and say, “Go on your email. We've settled up this amount for you. You might want to get into this as soon as you can so we can get this thing settled.” It'd be nice once in a while to get a call from somebody asking how's everything going. Also, when I checked my credit, all those things that were paid off are not considered paid off. They're considered write-off. But they were so good that I had my wife go on that same program and it's doing a great job for her.

I wished I would have handled this financial crisis myself and reach settlement agreements on my own with my creditors. I would have been better off with repairing and rebuilding my credit worthiness (score) and completion of the program in a more expedited way.

The service provided by FDR is great! I am now get back to good financial health. When I first began with FDR, I was deeply fighting to pay off a bunch of credit card and other debt. FDR made it easy for me to collect my debt invoices and create a list to which I later submitted to FDR. Now, almost two years later, most of my existing debt has been cut in half and some has been completely been paid off.

I had a couple of companies that I talked with and Freedom seemed to be more effective on explaining the process in a way that didn't sound shady, in order to plan. They were the most knowledgeable and professional sounding out of the other companies. Then, they handled everything well enough that I felt confident. They exceeded my expectations on every level of people that I spoke to.

I had a severe spinal cord injury which has left me permanently disabled. FDR saved me!! I had no way of paying my bills since I couldn’t work. I also got into more debt because I wasn’t working. Updated on 7/16/2023: I am so very thankful for Freedom of Debt Relief for helping me with the large debt I had. Due to my husband’s long illness I was left with a large debt. It took all our savings and I had to use credit cards to live. He was on life support at home. All will be paid in 2025. Thanks FDR.

I’m disappointed with the way my funds are being held- and my pay off date has been extended to 2024. The associate who helped me did a great job. However I did not receive an email from his supervisor letting me know that the funds have been dispersed to pay off one of the accounts. I have a good friend that used Freedom Debt Relief. So, I called up and got a 60-month program started. In another six months, I'll be halfway. The reps have been very professional. I like the way that my consultant explained the program. Using FDR has been really good. I'm getting all my bills paid off. My wife and I have two credit cards that we got after we got Debt Relief and we've been very responsible with them.

I have a debt with Wells Fargo Bank that's been with your agency for two years and it's still no closer to a settlement. Called several times this last year and it's a different story. Not sure what to do at this point because I received a 10 dollar check just recently.

At first the program was fine but then I have had creditors take me to court because they wouldn't wait for settlements and I was told by your representative that they would. As a result a lien was placed on my property.

Freedom Debt Relief was recommended to me by a coworker who was in their program as well. I had too many credit cards and I was making the minimum payment. Freedom consolidated everything and they did pretty well. I got a lot less collection calls. I only had one instance when the consultant wasn't very knowledgeable nor really good at helping me in the phone call. But, Freedom got someone to call me back. Other than that, it was a good experience using their service. I've just paid off everything by making a lump sum payment on the debt. Being with FDR helped a lot in the way of lessening pressure on paying everything and getting minimum payments paid.

I sent an email of the document I received and the Law Department was going to check it over to see if the account can be dropped from my dashboard. Check with them for two reasons...to get it removed from paying it back and to lower my payback balance. Also to lower my payments.

We did not want to settle at 100% for Citibank Sears account which was sent to Lawyers who have tried to garnish my wages but since laid off due to Covid they can't. Were told to complete Financial Hardship Statement & sent in. Were not home at the time as hubby is trying to get approved for kidney transplant. But emailed it off today. In 2017, after buying a home and adding new debts to a previous pile load of debts, I was at 81000$ in secured debts. 30 K for a Personal Loan and % credit cards each at 10 Grand. I had the bandwidth to pay only 1 Grand each month and the interest was eating up. I could not afford the car loan and mortgage and all housing expenses. I am the only earning member in my family. I've had a horrible experience with this company. I've been lied to on three different occasions. I'm told I'm done with the program. No more payments. I now have plenty of funds to pay off my debt and I'm not able to bc of a stipulated agreement. Now I'm told I owe another $1500 to complete the program. What a complete nightmare!

Chase was one of the creditors on my account but I could have settled my debt with them cheaper than what Freedom did. I was told that whoever was working on my behalf with FDR could get it cheaper but they did not. They waited and waited. By the time they closed and settled, the cost was $2,500 more than what I could have settled. Also, FDR is working on my debt with First National Bank. My understanding when we negotiated everything was that everything was all in the contract and it was all frozen. This was not the case. They let the interest grow and grow.
