Horrible program. With all the latest and charge off’s they put on your credit it will destroy your credit. Then you’ll owe taxes on it. Then they will charge you 29% interest to pay them back. Absolutely horrible

I had piled up a mountain of debt that would take the rest of my life to pay off. I made plenty of mistakes to get into this mess, but getting help from Freedom Debt Relief has lifted the burden off of me.

One of our creditors included in our program was apparently known for aggressive collection techniques. Although we signed the aggressive collection waiver, no one explained that this meant the company was going to sue us! When we called the first time, we were told that LPN would take care of it. Nothing happened, when I called back they needed an additional $281 to even have the attorney look at it, we paid. Then still nothing happening. I had to respond to the court and everything myself. Why am I in the program? They did nothing to help. I contacted the creditor and made payment arrangements myself. Spending literally hours on the phone. What a nightmare. I wish we had never enrolled in this program at all.

I called about more information regarding my FDR account. The representative was very kind, professional and very helpful. All of my questions were addressed quickly. I have been very pleased with my FDR experience so far. I’m looking forward to being out of debt very soon!!

My graduation date has passed, It took a phone call to get my monthly payment lowered. After several phone calls, the final bill has not been settled even though funds are more than available. Yes, thousands have been saved, but now I feel trapped because the promised graduation date was a farce.

I have been in this program 3 yrs. I have had changes in income and have needed help. I stopped calling and did chat calls because of a couple workers were so insensitive. I called this time and the worker was fabulous. Thank you for her.

I called to make sure one account was marked as paid in full. The lady I spoke to said it was. But after I got off the phone, I started questioning her answer. I have 2 accounts by the same place and both are now paid. I wish she had asked me the account number or I had told her which one it is. Now I'm not sure if she and I were talking about the same account!

On March 8th, 2021, I contact your service to inquire about why would your service negotiate a settlement after the account was past its statute of limitations. After speaking with Deann and asking her whether or not she was familiar with the state's statute of limitations laws, her reply was "she was not". After a back and forth conversation with her (for which I have recorded) I repeatedly ask her for a complete copy of my files, for which she repeatedly fail to understand my request. I am once again asking for a copy of my files, regardless of what I may see in my profile. Elisha **

Paying debt off way over half not much negotiating. Lawyer doesn't answer email. Poor representatives. I am just not satisfied with the program but need to see it out. I would pay more monthly if able but not. Very anxious about the whole thing. Seems FDR should take care of before served with papers.

Freedom Debt Relief has been very helpful with getting my debts resolved on a schedule that I can work with. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. My only issue is that all my creditors were not notified and the calls continued for several months.

I was told the entire process would take 48 months x $366, to settle all debts (I recently increased my monthly payment to $410). I just signed off on a settlement of $1541.85 that requires 47 payments. That puts me well past the original agreement of 48 total months to complete the program - and three accounts haven't even been touched. I'm getting letters from debt collectors for accounts you said would be taken care of in 48 total months. While trying to settle a select few accounts, the remaining accounts are accruing interest daily. I would have started out with a higher payment if I knew then what I know now. I feel as if I've been lied to, and taken advantage of in a major way. To say I'm dissatisfied is a gross understatement...

I have been served papers for a credit card that I had put on my account however turns out it wasn’t so now I am a single mom of 2 and need to make 3 $500 payments so I don’t get taken to court. I wish at the initial setup I was informed certain cards didn't get added.

I just thought things should have been moving, faster or differently. I really was not told everything and then when you try get out they then tell you if you cancel you have to pay about $1000 back. WOW, so disappointing.

After NLLG took over my credit card lawsuit I needed to add more money to my dedicated account. One call took care of the needed addition. Very professional handled and executed. This Allowed NLLG to discuss resolution with the creditors. My wife and myself now have peace of mind.

Very Good - I would like to see in the settlement summary the amount going to each creditor, fees, etc broken down in monthly payments. I like to track all of this in Quicken each month. Is this something that can be included in the settlement summary?

It was a relief to know I had a plan to get rid of my credit card debt but what they don't stress is how the creditors continue to charge interest. Some of my debt doubled and when they settled it was for more than I originally owed.

I'm disappointed in the timeframe that it's taking to manage my creditors. I never ever would have expected to have had three creditors thus far file civil suits against me. I'm paying more than I can even afford. I call almost several times and just feel like I wish I knew more upfront.

According to what I signed up for if I paid $280 for 48 months for a total of $13,440 I would have all of my debts paid off. According to my calculations I should only have a balance of $$4,080 with the added amounts I have paid towards my debt. When I called today to see if I was correct, I was told my balance is $7,666.17 due to interest charges and that the $13,440 was just an estimate. When I looked to find a contract that I signed, I did not have a copy and now I realize how stupid I was to agree to something that I don't have in writing. I'm not happy with this at all.

FDR has been there in every way for me. The progress depends on me doing my part. I am looking forward to complete debt relief. It takes trust in them to make the best decisions for me. I do trust FDR and highly recommend their business.

Updated on 06/24/2021: I’ve been happy with my experience, just had a scary situation come up with Discover! Had hopes that this company(FDR) would handle it without needing to get me started Charging again. Only to add another year onto my debt! This was a decision I was not expecting! So I guess, I’m a bit disappointed at this point, and wish it was over.

I just enrolled and the customer service so far has been outstanding. I already feel like I have benefited from the program. It has given me back my peace of mind. I'm looking forward to all that was promised.

Just began the program, but so far so good...Harold **.... I hope favorable negotiations with my creditors begins soon.. I am hopeful I can continue to manage my debt with Freedom Debt Relief... Will continue to check in on my dashboard.... HLD.... I am wondering if I can possibly keep one of my credit cards active in case of emergencies... Is this at all possible? Is the amount of debt that I set up with the program at a certain original "static" status? I would like to hear from Colwyn **.... I would like to have options to keep just at least one card available for use.. Also, I fear that Bank of America may just start taking debt payments out of my account without my authorization.... Is this type of thing within the rules? I am really having trouble with filling in the blanks.... My credit limits are relatively high with all of my creditors... Hopefully I will get advice and the Freedom Debt Relief reps will be able to find solutions to resolve how much I owe on everything...

UPDATED 01/17/2023: I’ve been working with Freedom Debt Relief for about two years. I have about two more years left in my program. They’ve been amazing this far. I would definitely recommend this program to a friend if they were in the situation that I was in. every time I needed to move a payment, depending on a paycheck or adding extra money to be withdrawal in, I was able to contact them using their chat service extremely easy.

Everything's going fine with Freedom Debt. The program is saving me thousands in interest and it's giving me a peace of mind. I'm not worried about paying the bills every month. The representatives are great. They're very helpful.

I am not at all pleased with their process, which I know is my fault for not understanding correctly. I didn’t know payments were not going to be sent to all my accounts, monthly. It seems Discover Card has a lawsuit against me that I was not aware of until I got a letter from a local attorney wanting to represent me.

I consolidated four cards and they talked to the creditors that I needed help with to figure out a plan that I could be able to afford to pay it back. Their reps were able to explain everything to me that I could understand on how each situation would be handled of trying to get help with getting payments. Freedom is working with the creditors and the amount that was owed was lower than what I actually owed. They worked well with trying to get a good offer for me to be able to handle.

I've done mostly everything through the website and it was all simple to me. If I needed to look at something or ask a question, it was right there. My overall experience with Freedom Debt Relief has been partially satisfactory. I am extremely upset and dissatisfied with how much I have been charged to settle the accounts. I think I was charged too much. The amount I agreed to pay from the very beginning is the amount that I have been paying up until the last two accounts, which both now have been settled. I reduced the amount that I'm sending each month to cover those only, but no decrease or negotiation have been discussed about the payment.

I am not used to this as I have always been able to pay my bills and pay on time. FDR seems to be doing a great job. Everything they have done I've been very pleased with, & I learn a little more each month. I'm still worried about future accounts not being addressed, however, if they do as great as they have so far, no worries.

Responses are very slow with this company, can’t help but feel a lawsuit could have been avoided had you people been on top of things when I sent you the notices from the attorney...But I’m the one out the court charges not you people so it’s all good

I was going through a divorce and when I got something in my email about Freedom Debt Relief, I looked into it. At first, I wasn't going to do it. When I talked to Erica, I decided to go with it. That was four years ago and so far, it's been okay. If I got a letter from one of my creditors, I would just let them know. They’d always take care of it. It's a good program to get your debt in order and get out of debt. It's certainly helped me. I don't have to worry about paying this and that every month. It's all lumped together in one sum, so I just pay it and know that everybody is getting a little something. Being that that is done for me, that makes it a lot easier.

I wanted to get rid of my credit cards and so I did consolidation. It's taken about three, four years now and I'm about there. June is my last payment. The representatives have been really good. Overall, I'm very happy with Freedom Debt Relief.

Everything's been fantastic with Freedom Debt Relief. On the initial first call, they walked me through everything. I had a big issue with one of the major bigger credit cards I had and they settled it. I'm making my payments and they stay in contact with me on a daily basis. I'm seeing my credit score increasing. I'm looking to purchase a new home in two years, and I believe, at that point, I'll be able to. Great service, the outcome has been great, and I'll be out of debt soon. I would recommend them to everyone.

It's been a few years and Freedom Debt Relief is doing very well. Today I got a text saying that they got another debt where they could pay it off that I had to okay it. They communicate and I like that a lot. I have recommended the program too. I put my mom as a co-client under mine this past six months or so because she didn't have enough debt to enroll herself in the program.

Not Satisfied with the progress so far, No improvement in my credit score. It's been more than three years. Also I do not understand why taking FDR fees upfront which is not very small. The money I paid against what is paid to the creditors is way low.

Tony is great to work with. I just started so we will see. The first money just came out so I just hope that the creditors don't start calling me that always makes me nervous. I have been through this before and it went good was a lot more money too.

I have been with the company for about a year. They did not negotiate the accounts fast enough. I still have 4 accounts they have not started on. Many debts doubled in that year so the price they negotiated is roughly about what I owed when they I added their fee and the additional year of waiting out the negotiations. Really many other debt restructuring companies do this negotiation much faster to get you on to a debt free life. In hindsight I wish I had shopped around. Do yourself a better deal find a company that can negotiate all your debts in under 6 months. I’m going on a year and still don’t see a full resolve.

I have been so pleased with the success of Freedom Debt. I never thought they would accomplish the amount they have in such a relatively short time. It's such a relief to not have letters and calls all the time. I haven't been able to work in the past year because of the COVID virus and a new heart condition but I'm hoping to find a job I can do.

I was very happy with the program of Freedom Debt Relief. Everything was settled and they moved me into a consolidation plus loan. I'm just working on a $3,000 loan. I'm still making my monthly payments, but I'll be done before the year's out. They were great. Everybody was very helpful and understanding. Freedom Debt Relief is great with lowering the debt amount owed to a more manageable amount. However, it is frustrating that FDR is so strict on paying the structured amounts and not paying off full totals when the money is available. I have mentioned this multiple times, but am often told that it is necessary to obtain new settlements. It feels like no one listens to my concerns about this, especially as I am attempting to buy a new home for my family. Overall, I enjoy the program, but this is my biggest complaint.

All customer service agents have been very helpful every time I have called them, I am very pleased on how fast they have been resolving and coming to settlement with my different creditors making very good deals. I am also very pleased with the simplicity of navigating through my online account!

Freedom Debt Relief is working for me. I'm getting some results. The only thing I don't like is that I didn't know the percentage that Freedom Debt Relief charges for each account. That was a shock to me but I'm going with it. It should have been said to me from the beginning, but it wasn’t. I found myself paying quite a bit of money before I started paying the debt. I had to pay Freedom first, and then the debt. They didn't say that. I just want to finish the length of time they gave me. I want to finish.

Taking too long. My payments and interest rates are too much. My credit score dropped way more than I was told it would. 1099s are devastating my taxes. Other than that it's wonderful. I feel like you dropped my credit just to hike the interest rates. I wanted a loan to pay it off to start with, but you said no! After building up my debt by non payments and penalties, then you offer a loan with loan shark rates! I am very trapped and cannot recommend you to others at this time.

Freedom Debt Releif has given me outstanding service and hope for a second chance on actually having a debt free life, my own home eventually and instant relief from creditors harassing calls. I felt like I had no hope or future until I found Freedom Debt Relief.

I had earlier indicated that I am likely to be a defendant in a lawsuit filed against a past client who has defaulted on a loan - I signed as a guarantor on that loan. This might result in a forced BK on my part - I will be unable to sustain the financial damage purported by this claim. I asked for a deferment on the existing BofA settlement offer so that I can sort out the potential judgment issue. Your professional rep explained that deferment wasn't possible so we decided to reject this settlement.
