Taking too long to settle, as well as hard to lower payments once they are set. Only willing to lower for 3 months also, even with Covid!! Hard to afford and harder to get out of once you have started. Better off filing bankruptcy.

I read other testimony stories and they were good. So, I decided to use FDR. I can say I didn't go wrong. FDR is for sure a customer first Company. I was in debt, struggling and drowning. They helped me stay on point with everything. Now, I can raise my arms like Rocky.

I was very hesitant to reach out for help concerning my credit card debt. Just by chance I answered a call from John. As I spoke with him I began to feel that Freedom Debt Relief could be the answers to my prayers. He was very knowledgeable and well informed in his presentation to me about what FDR could do to free from being a hostage to my credit card debt. He explained every step that the process entailed. The service from Freedom Debt Relief is the best. I like it. Greg, the rep, explained everything to me. It was nice and he was very good. Working with Freedom made me free from the bills which I had a lot. They helped me to keep the bills to go lower than what I expected and they worked good every time they sent a message on what they need to do. People should work with Freedom if they got any problems like I had before.

The explanations were very uncomplicated so that I could understand what was happening. I love the monthly email reminding me to check my account and print out my statement. I like the communication too. They're not on the phone with me all the time bugging me to do this or that. It’s very efficient and personal but they're not breathing down my neck.

Very pleased with this program. Great customer service and helpful with resolving my debt. They took the stress off of me while helping me pay down debt. Handled legal issues with creditor with confidence and follow thru with a successful outcome.

Freedom Debt Relief has done an excellent job for me. I am very happy with their service! They have done everything they said they were going to do and more. I really appreciate what they are doing for me.

There are things we need not spend time doing thus I’d say the programs has excellent features designed for a purposes and it works; but someone telling me I am doing good is sort of a waste of time. That may work for a single mom somewhere that needs her constant reinforcement but not me. An important feature would be the fact that where a number of creditors do not accept settlements, file and serve actions, Freedom provides counsel at no cost.

I'm so relieved about resolving my debt. I sleep better and feel more relaxed overall. I worried about how I would pay the overwhelming debt that I had and now I see an end to this problem with the support that I have received. I'm grateful.

As life is stressful enough without credit card debts and mounting interest it has been such a relief to have no worries and complete confidence in my debt resolutions with very little effort on my part. Just pay my payment each month and done!

Don’t waste your time or money on this program! It’ll tank your credit & you’ll pay thousands on what you can do yourself! Settle w the credit card companies yourself! Lesson learned! DO NOT DO THIS PROGRAM! I cannot stress this enough!

So far, so good!!! No problems communicating with reps. Treated with respect and courtesy. They seem to know their business. Two resolved so far. Five more to go. I have experienced absolutely no problems so far. I would certainly recommend Freedom Debt Relief to others!!!

I wish I had a say in the strategy and order in which items were paid. Limited lumpsum payment option or loan options to repay cards quicker and go through added stress of diminished credit scores and starting from the bottom up. It’s a catch 22.

At first, it was like a lot of money for Freedom Debt Relief but when I sat down and looked at the bill and the amount, it was just right for me. The payment plan was a lot but I had to sacrifice and do what I had to do. Seeing debts get settled happened very quickly because I had a few monies in the account for Freedom to do what they have to do. After that, everything has been good. I’m pleased with the service and it's a very satisfied program. They help you in what you need and more but mine was just for my debt collection.

I got a little crazy and I went overboard. And then I looked on Better Business Bureau and Freedom Debt Relief came up with a good rating. Because a lot of them, once you look, you start getting messages from everybody. FDR was good to get me started and they contact me to get my okay if I agree on the deal, but they've been hands on everything. I'm like a silent partner in my own business. They handled everything. I get a phone call every now and then. “Do you approve this?” So an email. Now four of them are gone and they’re doing the work into the fifth one. They handle the money aspect of it. I don't have to do anything. That's why I love FDR.

Thank you so much. I love the professional manner in which you are doing your best to save my future. A lot has happened this past year, with the virus pandemic, I was able to survive thanks to Freedom. I recommend it to everyone.

If I knew what was going to happen to my bank account I would of never signed up for this. One of the creditors that is included in the debt reduction stole 416.13 and yes I put in a stop draft on Upgrade Inc. but they changed their number or whatever it is so the bank let them take it which I paid 25.00 to have that done. Then I put in a dispute to find out I may never get my money. The bank can only ask them to return it. They don't have to. So now I am trying to get an appointment with my bank to close that account and open a new one but with Covid they are all booked up and I have to wait for the next appointment. Meanwhile your company will want your money and I am not putting any more money in it so they don't steal it. And it would be nice if your company would call Upgrade Inc. and try to get my money back.

So far so good. It has worked out as planned. I wish I could add more to my account to speed the process but that is not possible at this time. Thanks for your help. Hopefully this will all be over soon.

This is the first time I've ever consolidated bills and it has made my credit score go way down but I'm trusting that what FDR said that once paid off, my score will go up triple points is true. I can't give an honest score until that happens. I am pleased with their communication with me as the customer so I give 3 stars for that. Thank you.

The program was explained very well, we are at the beginning of the process, so far things are good, not sure what to say at this point, so far things are very good, we are happy with how things have been explained.

So far, I’ve been a client of FDR for a little under a year, and they’ve already resolved 3 accounts for me. I couldn’t be happier and excited to see the progress made in the months to come. As long as your deposits are made, they handle the rest. Yes, it takes time and patience is needed when it comes to the phone calls from the CC companies, or collectors, but FDR explains how to handle those situations, and believe me, from my experience, they will resolve your debts.

I have been with the program for over two years. I am very satisfied with the way they walk you through all the steps. It is gratifying when they tell you you are getting ready to graduate. I would recommend this to everyone that needs debt consolidation.

I told Freedom Debt Relief what my debt was and they estimated what they would be able to work out and asked me what the minimum payment would be. There were two things that happened. One of them was $210 and I went with that. Then, there was supposed to be an insurance policy in case something went wrong for an extra $19 a month. They charged me a year and a half for that. One of my credit cards went into defunct and they refused to help me because they didn't put the $19 a month toward the extra thing. They put it to my payment. So, I got one credit card in defunct right now that went to court because they wouldn't represent me. It's been a terrible experience for me.

When I inquired, FDR was checking on me or a following-up. It was not like a rude follow-up, it was just giving me a few reminders or advices already even when they were doing follow-ups. So, that made me comfortable to continue with FDR. The program they got me into was awesome and it was really based on my need. They gave me a rate that's on my budget, too. When we were starting the process, when the rep got the information already as well as the documents that he needed, he showed me first the rates and asked if it was okay with me. So, upon checking my finances, he gave me time to check my finances and if I wanted to proceed to it. He didn't just want to have a business. I knew that there was this concern to finalize and get through with my debts, which was really convincing for me.

I so enjoyed my call with FDR and Cory. He was very helpful and very informative. I felt very at ease discussing my debt with him. I would recommend this program to others. Very easy setup. All my questions were answered.

They helped me understand the process clearly and I am excited to get back on track with my debt. My consultant was in constant contact with me, allowing me to ask any questions regarding the process. I would recommend them if you are looking to settle your debt.

Don’t agree with how much we’ve had to pay you people. I think in a long run we’ve paid the full amount of what we started with, being charge $4000. Plus on the first settlement, and I don’t know what the fee will be on the second one. Guess we’ll find out soon enough.

They helped me lower my payment while on a layoff from work. This was very helpful during this time with less money coming in. They cut my payments in half for the next four months. Then in August it will return to normal.

Very friendly and helpful with updating my acct information. My acct had been stolen so I had to open a new checking acct. The man I talked to was very understanding of my problem and did everything he could to help me.

Overall, I have been very pleased with the services provided by Freedom Debt Relief. The staff are helpful and able to answer most questions. They were able to settle most of my debt within a few short months. The payment terms were reasonable and they worked around my payment needs.

My husband and I are in the process of purchasing a home. Hubby and I contact FDR Jan, 202 to pay off NLLG (National Litigation Law Group). We sent in the adequate funds for 8,000. Asked if FDR does not use any funds towards any pending credit cards. We received inconsistent answers. The money is pending in the account. I need FDR to release the funds. However, the funds have pending as of today's date; and have not been from our credit report. I am displeased how FDR pays the creditors in small portions,

The workers at this company are easy to talk or text with. They do a superb job of helping you get things settled. I am particularly please with how quickly they got started. It is a safe and experienced company to work with.

They have been helpful, but they do take out a lot of fees. So overall you're really not saving that much money, you're just making payments to them for years overtime. They are helpful if you have a lot of debt between multiple credit cards. If I had all debt on only one or two cards it would have been cheaper to make the payments just to the cc companies instead.

Once again, I received exceptional assistance from your staff. I spoke with both Mark and Eric, and they were able to help me understand what a lump sum deposit could do to help me graduate earlier. Thank you so much for all you do!

We began the process of paying down our debt using Freedom Debt Relief Program just a few months ago. We have already seen results and are very satisfied. They keep us informed about the progress being made and what we need to do if anything to keep things going forward. We know they have fees but as long as our payment to them remains the same and we see the creditors accepting settlements and being paid off it is worth it to us. They have also been honest and informative about the tax implications that could apply to us due to debt reduction. As long as we are aware and can plan for this government regulation we are willing to proceed. Most of their communication is done online and I don’t have a computer, so I have to use my phone. This is a problem because I have arthritis in my hands and can’t really accurately use the small keyboard on the phone and I’m afraid someone has hacked my phone.

I feel like the program is going slower than I thought. The charges and the fees the whole money goes to that instead of the actual payments. Only issue is the Drop in credit score and calls from creditors but it's worth it. You will save money in the long run and boost your credit score and the team they have working with you are excellent and very good at what they do.

Once you make the decision to get help for your debt, it is great to have a team on your side. It’s scary at first to receive all the phone calls from creditors, but eventually it all starts to click and life gets so much easier.

My experience with FDR is the highest that I have ever rated anything. On the day I called for assistance (on the same recurring question for the past 6 months at least) I called 3 times talking to 3 different people who gave me 3 different things to do to settle this issue myself---no help from you. My level of frustration was off the charts so I am done with trying to settle this account at this time.

I would definitely recommend Freedom debt consolidation to anybody. The people are very nice and understanding and don't judge you and are glad to help with any questions you may have. They always keep you updated on the progress of your accounts.

After 50 years of paying everything on time and with an above average credit score, I found myself in a terrible situation with the advent of a Pandemic. I waited some time before I called Freedom because I was embarrassed. Once I did call it was a smooth ride to get myself straightened out. I am on a good path for financial freedom. It may take 36 months but Freedom has done a great job negotiating with my creditors to get me very good results.

I was sent a legal notice in January and was advised to add more funds to my account. I added $3,000 and after 40 days I was sent a court order by American Express. I called and was told that negotiations had not started by Freedom yet and they were still waiting for funds to build up. I was told I would be sent a power of attorney via docusign on Mar 17. I have called numerous times but still have not got an email with the power of attorney.

They are very friendly and stick to what they say. They are amazing and I am glad I choose them over other companies. They have raised my score and I can't wait to see what my future holds for me when this is all said and done.

I wish FDR would have been more open with the fact they could not resolve my debt instead of me finding out when I was sued and served papers. I ended up settling for more than the original debt, which defeated the purpose of the program. Also, my credit dropped over 100 points. Not the results I was hoping for.

Am very disappointed that it’s going to take a year longer than I was quoted. VERY. Usually when I’ve called, it is a good experience. Once when I was having a difficult month, the man on the phone showed absolutely no empathy and said I should think of bankruptcy.

Doing alright but some negotiations are slow and not very client friendly. I was expecting some resolutions to be handled more quickly and with less money paid out. I should not have to add funds to my dedicated account, that appears to be mishandled which is not a good thing.

While this program has helped me negotiate my settlements, there is very little way to track how much I’ve paid in and what it’s gone toward. I’ve sent several messages through the ‘Contact Us’ option to inquire about why what I’ve paid in is significantly more than what has been paid out and no one has responded to any of them, leaving me feeling very distrustful at this point.

I followed the process but still had a small claims court action brought against me. I have had debt taken care of. People always kind when I call. Wish faster process. The small claims against me. Really hurt my confidence in this process.

Be aware, your bigger debts will be resolved last. Graduation date is an estimate not necessarily something solid. I have been with the program almost 3 years and it seems like I'll be on it for another year or so.

I didn't know what to do because I was in so much debt. The Better Business Bureau recommended Freedom Debt Relief so I thought it must be okay. Freedom got me back on track to where I need to be in life without claiming bankruptcy. It was perfect for me. I made those payments for four years and every time I made one, it reminded me that I was doing my penance to get out of debt. I did everything I was supposed to and I never missed a payment. I paid a lot of fees but that was part of the program.

The entire experience. Keeping me informed, true to your policy. The data was also very easy to read. I love the way you can follow the progress of your debt accounts. I also receive alerts when I need to update or receive info.

Updated on 09/22/2022: I was paying over $1,000 a month and only making minimum payments. Freedom got me down to 440.00 a month. All I ended up paying is what I owed. I would have paid so much more money in interest. It would have taken me years to pay all of them of. I started my payment plan in 2020 and I'm going to be ending in 2023. If not sooner. I plan on paying over what my minimum payment is so I will graduate sooner. Freedom Debt Financial has given me peace of mind and Hope. I see light at the end of the tunnel.

I signed up w FDR in 2018 to consolidate an Amex and a Chase credit card account. I was promised that after regularly paying a determined fee into my FDR account for a while, FDR would negotiate with the creditor and typically reach a settlement at around 60-70% of the debt consolidated. Not only I got a notification in 2019 at the 11th hour when Amex had served me court papers, that suddenly they couldn’t negotiate with Amex anymore and just dropped me. But I had been advised when I signed up, not to respond to any correspondence the creditors may send. So I had to hire my own lawyer to get a settlement with Amex. The remaining Chase card account with FDR is almost 80% paid off, however, my account still says: "Negotiation on Strategic Hold” and that they "might" negotiate in 5 months from now.

Would recommend this company 100% for anyone caught up with credit card debt with high interest rates, I feel I’ve got my freedom back! I would always pay more than my minimum due & the amount due would never go down, felt like I was on a roller coaster.

UPDATED 3/15/2022: I’m so glad I can see that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, that when this is over I can breathe better knowing my debt has been resolved, I’ll definitely recommend this service to others who are in need of help with their debts.

2 written messages and three verbal calls; and I'm still waiting to see my final enrolled debt to be paid off as requested. Last call said "It would be keyed as a REQUESTED entry," call before that said it could take 30-45 days to pay? Money was added to have enough in the dedicated account, yet automated settlement and no activity on website shows no early attempt at pay off being made. Rating will improve when service is rendered. Still waiting.

Freedom Debt was able reduced payments and in the progress I've learned to handle credit cards. Save a little money and make purchases on what you need and not what you want. Thank you. I don't like the fact that my credit score went down and I'm paying a dear price for that at my age. A lesson learned the hard way being single.

FDR has taken all the stress of debt collectors and rising interest away and settled my debts quickly. I should of done this sooner as I was not able to get out of debt on my own. I would recommend FDR to anyone who is struggling with their debts

You have taken out money when I have called to change the amount for the last two months putting my family in a terrible bind. Very unhappy and figuring out what to do about this because every time I call I’m told it’s handled. It’s not!!!

Rates are far too high, they could charge half as much actually help people and still be profitable. Actually did help a little but, you could not pay your bills and settle for less to the Cc company and basically do the same thing without paying the 30% which actually comes to about 40% when they add the monthly fees.. Anyone can open a checking account for free.

Eric was professional courteous and extremely helpful to me. My concern was I was getting statements from my creditors and I gently put them in a box. I always pay my bills on time. Eric walked me thru the steps. It was better but I still get anxiety not paying my bills.

Everything is doing wonderful with them. I'm glad I found them. They paid off some of my credit cards already and I have something that they're taking care of. When I call and talk to people, they’re so friendly. It's great to do business with them. I enjoy it. With the payments I was making on the credit cards, Freedom saved me almost $300 a month.

Customer service was good but it did take a long time on the phone and being put on hold took a long time but it was worth it and they got me a good price that I was looking for. Would do business again.
