I have been part of the program for 6 months and reduced my debt from $800 a month to $234. I appreciate the fact that they could save me this money because I had been dragging my credit card debt around for about 8 years, making virtually no progress. It feels good to relieve this burden and enjoy life!

Sonny ** is the best! He was polite and pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable! He even took the time to help me troubleshoot and solve a couple computer glitches so I was able to continue having him work with me on my program. If he hadn't helped me, I would not have been able to complete my transaction that day!

Coming out of debt is a hard and emotional process. FDR has been true to their word. They said that I would have to be patient as it is not an overnight fix. However in just three months, they have resolved two accounts and are actively working to resolve three others.

Writing a review at this early stage of the process is a real challenge, since most of the visible "fruits" are yet to come. But after my having several concerns, doubts, and fears at the outset, the team of experts at Freedom Debt Relief have gone a long way in alleviating many of those fears. The program is ok and have a few of my debt negotiated. The accounts with the lowest amounts. The only thing I don't like is you will not speak to the creditors to assure them they are in the program. Also when I signed up I was told if I got a garnishment from there was legal help in the program. Well I did and they were absolutely no help at all. Would not speak to the creditor and advised me to take them out of my program and I am currently being garnished. I got in this program to prevent that.

I was with Cordoba debt relief program in the beginning, and the communication that I had between them and me was horrible and did not explain the program that I enrolled in very well. I decided to switch to Freedom Debt Relief. They’ve been great. They have settled five of my seven debts that I have enrolled in less than one year in. My graduate date from the program will end up being about three years, eight months. Every time I call I get a hold of somebody that I can understand and explains it to me. I would highly recommend them. They’ve been great.

It has been a great process.. Staff are excellent.. The only issue I have had is I cannot get into my account... I have called and sent email with no success getting in... The set up was easy and whole process has been a great success in decreasing my debt fast.

You get a team of professionals working on your behalf. It takes a lot of the pressure off of paying off debts. This is a great way to start getting out of debt. It's a good program for people overburdened with debt.

I’ve been trying to add another of the larger accounts for a week and keep getting the run around. I went through the final process twice e. I feel like left hand doesn't know is what the right is doing. I was not told About the monthly charge.

Everything is great with Freedom Debt Relief. I first heard about them from one of my friends who said that they are a great company. He said I could enroll with them, so I could get out from debt quickly. For the enrollment process, I went to Freedom Debt Relief's website and I started filling up all the applications. I got my information then after all the submitting them to Freedom, somebody called me and they were explaining how the program would work and how they’d deal with all those companies. Then they put me on a monthly payment. But my payment was large and they said they’d break it down in two parts, so I pay them bi-weekly.

I am so happy to get my debt under control with Freedom Debt Relief, from day one they have been on top of my debt, paid a few off and will be paid off in a few years, thank you freedom debt relief for the chance to be debt free, great customer service and lets me know every step of the way to getting my debt paid.

Since joining the FDR program, I don’t worry about my debts anymore. I make my twice monthly deposits to my dedicated account and that’s it. Communication from representatives needs improvement. They don't speak from a place of empathy and understanding of your concerns, I've found. I've repeatedly said I don't want to jeopardize a few financial relationships that they were totally dismissive of. The guy from Symple Lending was a real jerk about my concerns. I had serious thoughts about cancelling the service after my experience with him.

Freedom Debt Relief was an answer to my problems. It was a big relief to know that the debt hanging over my head was getting paid off. The people were extremely friendly and non-judgmental. Anytime I got concerned I would just call them up and they would answer all my questions. It’s taken a great deal of stress off of me.

Little to know ongoing information on my account. No updates on who they have contacted and no confirmation on additional funds deposited. Contact person is not available to talk when I call, others don’t or cannot answer my questions. They are not friendly once you sign up! After that you're on your own, including having to personally contacting vendors on your own.

I was really deep in credit card and personal loan debt, and I needed Freedom Debt Relief's help to get out of it. Right now, all of those debts are in process or have been paid off. I don't have any creditors on my back anymore, which feels like an immense relief. I started going to them for a consolidation loan. They instead offered to do debt settlement for me. They explained the process. I gave it a try. My credit score crashed and burned, but that was gonna happen sooner or later because the amount of debt I had means I couldn't service it all at once, and it was gonna eventually become too much for me to handle. I took it on and so far, my debts are getting consolidated and paid off. The rest is history.

FDR has been very helpful and giving the positive end in sight has eliminated most of my monthly stress in a single income environment. The customer service representatives are polite and understanding to my issues.

This has been such an easy step by step process. I’ve been steadily making my payments and increased when I can. The settlements have been timely and effective. I have had a great experience with Freedom Debt Relief. The staff and support available is remarkable. They gave me control of my life back. As soon as I called I was finally able to get some sleep knowing there would be a brighter day.

The amounts that were settled after all fees were paid didn't really help me much at the end of the day and then on top of that you end up having to recieve a loan through their sister company at a really high interest rate since your credit gets depleted during the process. They were quick with response but at the end of the day I do not believe this program really saves you any money or time within your way to trying to be debt free.

I had a lot of debt and was trying to deal with it, but it was too much. I decided that working with Freedom Debt Relief would be better for me. I called and spoke with someone who set everything up, and it was easy. They handled the parts I wasn’t dealing with at the time when I was having some money issues. Working with FDR gave me some relief because I wasn’t stressing out as much. I had to add a couple of extra debts that came up that I didn’t know about. I called them about it, and they looked at it, and we got it. Everything has been going fine so far.

Freedom Debt Relief laid out the program very easily to where I could understand, and I started with them. Enrolling was an easy process. As a participant, you have to be ready to talk about your debts and where you fell short and be honest. So, it was a little hard to say out loud that I need help, I made some mistakes, I need to learn and I need to fix this. The interest rates are insane. There is no getting out of them unless you win the lotto or pared on your life to a point that it's like you're not enjoying life anymore and doing just basic fun things that you enjoy. The process was good. There were hard and honest questions, and it really makes you analyze where you're at. FDR's availability is really good. I haven't needed to contact them a whole lot because the program is working. My deposits are on time in full every month, and they send me an alert saying, "Hey, we have another one to close with you." The process has been very easy.

They do what they say they will do! My only reason for not a 5 star rating is that was hoping to see some of my debt reduced by a little more! I've never been in this situation before so my expectations may be higher than possible! Overall they are a great company!!

I was reviewing different debt relief companies, then I happened to talk to my brother. The month that I was going to start Freedom Debt Relief, he was finishing up the three-year program with them and he said it worked for him. So, that made me go with it. One of the reps I talked to worked on Bank of America and made payments to them for three installments. I talked to them the other day and they were telling me the next one that they were going to do, because I called them in reference to my debt for Macy's. I settled with Macy's on my own and I had them take that one off. And that was when we went through what the next one was going to be.

The very first call to FDR was great. By the time I hung up I felt so much better. I couldn't be helped with a loan, but they didn't stop there. They had other options. I started to worry a bit because my creditors were calling every day but FDR has resources to help. I even called in because one creditor said some things that made me nervous and FDR calmed me right down. I just approved my first settlement and it feels AWESOME!

Freedom Debt Relief explained everything to me well. They showed me how to navigate my web page, and showed me exactly how to look at my money. I get to see my money myself, and see how they divvied up and how they came out for everything. They always alerted me whenever they reached an agreement with one of my debts. They would ask me if I wanted to go forward with it. They laid everything out. I wasn't able to make January payment, but they didn't make a big deal out of it. I resumed my payments back in February. They said I can make it up whenever I can, however I can. It's my fourth month. So far, it has been great.

I signed up about two weeks ago when my welcome call there was issues with logging into the dashboard and the app and could not access either one cause it was attempted too many times. I had a lot of debt. So, I added all of them and asked Freedom Debt Relief to help me. I'm paying for debt relief and they're taking care of it slowly. Hopefully, within three years, everything will be gone. I had about eight debt. Half of it is gone. Sharon, my debt relief rep, was nice and fast and easy to talk with. As far as the payment plan, they gave me approximate things. They started from the smallest one, which was Chase. They finished that one, kept paying, and then another one. Now, they just started Bank of America without reducing any debt, but I still keep them continue paying. That's the last one. I'm happy with Freedom Debt Relief. They at least gave me some peace of mind. They're charging a little more, but they helped me.

Things are progressing with my case but I'm disappointed things aren't happening faster. I called to understand the strategy that is in place, but don't see potential settlements on accounts I think are in reach. Then... I'm pressured to take out a loan to end my settlement plan. Why would I pay interest for something that would have been free.

I'm satisfied with the way Freedom Debt Relief has been handling my affairs. They've been easy to work with. I've had good rapport with calling and getting the info I needed. I'm having issues with being able to pull my dashboard up on my phone. For some reason, it jumps off of my phone. So, I've had to contact them to see why I'm having this issue. When I call them, they give me any info that I need. I would recommend people I know to use Freedom because I've had good experiences with them.

When I talked to the representative at Freedom Debt Relief, they were very assuring. They took all my questions and walked me through it. They didn't rush me to make a decision. I went with them and they saved me $5,000. I was able to do a loan with Achieve where Freedom Debt Relief was able to settle all my debts to help bring my credit back up which was my main concern because your credit goes in the tank when you stop making payments. It was reassuring to know that I had the opportunity to do the loan with Achieve where everything was paid in full. Now, all I'm having to pay is that one loan back. It was going to take five years to do, but now, I'll be done in two more years. It took time off of what it originally was going to be which is nice. You feel like you're getting your life back a little bit quicker.

We were paying on all our credit cards on time and we're even paying more than the minimum, but the interest rates were just consuming all the money we're paying, so that led us to need to consolidate it. The enrollment process with Freedom Debt Relief was really simple. Just gave them, of course, all the accounts that we wanted to, the amount, and then they let us know, “This is the amount we're gonna enroll. This is generally how long it's gonna take.” That can be plus or minus, depending on how much we put into it at one point in time or another, and it was really simple. They walked us through and made sure if we had any questions, we got them answered. From that point on, it was easy.

I truly appreciate the customer service I received from Leslie **! She was very helpful and thorough. I was under a mountain of debt with minimum payments sucking up all of my budgeted expenses. Now I am paying a third of the amount in monthly payments with the program that Leslie set me up with. I can afford to buy groceries and have a little left over now. I am not spending over $400 per month in overdraft fees. There is hope now and I see a finish line.

I’m ok with FDR but was wondering why the order of settlements was the way they were. But, I’m no expert, so I just go along with it all and hope it gets done already. The monthly draft is quite a strain since I am on a fixed income.

Freedom Debt Relief always seems to take the initiative on things. They stayed very proactive instead of being reactive, and when there were any challenges that I had, they addressed them pretty quickly. Anything that I had concerns about was always resolved. The instructions were clear. The corresponding with email and text us clear, gets back to you with in a reasonable time.

The program is great and affordable, my only con is the length of time especially if you have high balances and you still receive phone calls and emails until debt is settled. Overall great program would recommend and I love that you can call and a live person talks to you to answer your questions.

Single women when 3 years ago was forced to do a 35K water line replacement at my house. I put it on 6 different credit cards, always paying but interest rates went up and up and up. Faced with either paying cards or feeding myself, my dog and making utility payments, including water bill. Ha ha, I chose to try Freedom Debt Relief. Their planning is incredible and have 6 settlements already. They saved me AND my dog and can sleep at night too. It is just a FANTASTIC plan that works. The start of my introduction into this company was less than smooth. They started out by taking two payments within a week apart, even after I had scheduled the payment on Feb. 26th. Then started the endless emails, I mean 3 to 5 a day everyday of the week and weekend, until I cancelled them, which got me in more trouble. I’ll just say the salesman knew his product line however, the customer service is another story, like most, and I’m not impressed in the least.

They will lie and manipulate you then take money from you when they want to and not when you told them you would have the money for so they don't care if you go into the negative. They'll be impossible to reach to fix problems or they will gaslight you and then tell you to deal with it then ride fully. Hang up on you! I mean nothing personal with this review. Just that they ruined my trust when they told me one thing. Agreed to call me back before any changes were taken out of my bank but did not comply. Cancel any and all forward business here.

In the beginning we were getting a little impatient but then we would call and talk to one of our team members and they would assure us that everything was moving right along and sure enough we got our first settlement offer and it was half of what our debt was. Now we are even more motivated to continue with our payments.

Not good at all! I thought by now I would be debt-free like you said, but I’m worse off now more than ever! I don’t know how I was sent to Achieve, but my balance never goes down. I’m reporting this to BBB.

This is the second time I got stupid and got over my head in bills. I reached back to Freedom Debt Relief and they were kind enough to work with me again. I have been paying into the program and have had to think little or worry about my debt. Freedom Debt Relief has been quick to answer any questions I have and I do have trust and peace of mind. One creditor that has been lumped in with the rest of my debt has been negotiated with and the debt has been resolved.

When I have called and talked to people about my account I have gotten different answers from them. One says you will keep negotiating even though the funds may not be in my account and others say you can’t negotiate with my debtors until there is enough money in my account to cover the settlement. So I’m confused on that, due to the fact that my credit card companies will continue to charge interest and continue to call me, because they haven’t even been contacted yet.

FDR is a great company to work with and staff is very friendly and helpful starting to get rid of my debt. I have tried other debt relief companies and just got the running. FDR is there for every step of the way.

I feel that some of my smaller bills could have been paid off by now. I also think that the one settlement which was negotiable could have been, in less that 3-4 payments. There was enough monies in my account to settle at an earlier date

I was reluctant to do this. However glad I did. It was so stressful having to cover the payments every month. The interest was killing me. But I made the call and everything was so easy, it has been such a relief. A great company to work with.

They’ve been helping me with my situation just fine; they keep me updated every step of the way, with texts and emails. So far everything has been moving along.

I've been with Freedom now for one year. And so far the program has advanced quite nicely. I didn't know, outside of what I was told during my initial consultation what to expect. But within the year, we have settled 6 of my 18 enrolled debts at "significant" savings to me. An aggressive debt collector sued me in court and FDR stepped in immediately and negotiated a settlement on the debt quickly to get the process out of the court.

I called Freedom Debt Relief to get enrolled. The rep I spoke to was awesome. I'd give him a 10. I followed the company on their app to track my progress on the program. I am done with it and I can say the program has impacted my life a lot. They took all the bills away. The only thing is I did try to recommend someone to them, but they weren't so helpful with her.

I am truly disappointed in how this is working out. My credit score tanked over 100 points, my perfect on time payments crashed and 2 of my credit cards that I did not put into this program dropped my available credit by 100s of dollars, further tanking my credit score. I have a creditor that calls and messages me relentlessly, and Freedom indicates they will wait another 6 months to try to settle with that creditor! Pay attention when you are signing up with this. I hope it works out, but I am 4 months in and not happy.

Since enrollment I have managed to pay off one account and I'm in the process of eliminating another debt for what was too high of a debt balance is now more affordable so that I can continue to become debt free.

I just wish one of the reps that I talked to after like several months should contact me to see how’s everything going. I like that they sent out text that they’ll need your approval in order for them to take payments on. I just can’t seem to get a hold of the person that first helped me in the beginning of this whole process. Just wish their customer service can be better.

It took a few months in order to build up the money for the settlements but after there was enough funds built-up, it has seemed to work out fairly well and the annoying phone calls from the creditors keep coming until the settlements are completed.

I've paid 5,000, only 482 has went towards debt reduction. They will get all their fees first before helping and the creditors keep calling! So yes after 4 years everything is paid, but know the first year all fees no debt reduction..only a little.

Your credit does goes down but from our perspective it is worth it since you get rid of debts sooner and also save significant money on interest besides your credit will quickly go up as you pay your settlement. They don't give you the correct time line of pay offs. Been with them almost a year now and only paid off one creditor with a settlement of $275. But now paid over $1500.00 in settlement fees to them. They let it sit until your balance has just about doubled then they settle giving them a higher settlement fee and you really don't save.

Great work, good results were achieved quickly as promised! I was surprised and delighted of course with the results. I would recommend to anyone...friends and family. I must say I was skeptical at first but changed my mind when I saw the results.

Updated on 04/20/2026: Fast service, good communications, getting started and they have already got 4 of my accounts done. Recommend any looking to reduce their debt and get financial in order. Questions just contact them and get an answer fast.

Although I still have a long ways to go because I have a lot of debt, they have made my experience good thus far. I have a dedicated agent I can reach out to with any questions or concerns, and if he isn't able to answer my questions he makes sure to find someone that can quickly. I've already settled some of my debt for almost half of what was owed. This is a better option for those that wish to take care of your debt and just need help doing it and for less than what is originally owed. More to come from me and I progress through.

I had one creditor debt settled much sooner than I had imagined. They are very communicative and explain things clearly. Whenever I reach them by phone with a question, they provide solid information. I wish I had started with them sooner, very optimistic about future results.

Process is too slow. Company seems more interested in collecting its fees than resolving debt. Often wished I’d have just hacked it out with my creditors, but at this point, I’ll wait it out without judging too harshly.

The settlements are made via payments made over months from the money you deposit and not one full payment if you did it on your own. If you get a letter from a creditor, send to FDR and they will use it even to get a better settlement. They really work to get you the best deal. It hasn't been a year yet so we will see how things look this summer.

I've had Freedom for over a year and my experience with the team so far was satisfactory. I would call them if I have concerns and they would answer my questions. I love Freedom Debt Relief for the help they have given me in getting free from my debt. I was young and dumb when I opened so many credit cards, and didn't understand the consequences of my charging. I am very grateful to them for helping to negotiate on my behalf with my creditors to lower my payments. The only complaint I have is that when I was first contacted, I assumed the gentleman I spoke with would be my contact for the remainder of my partnership with FDR. Because of FDR I not only lost my ATV's but I also have a REPO on my record. I lost my ATV's from false advise from FDR, and FDR only wants to "deduct" 10$ from my bi-monthly deductions. Not only does this seem unfair but it also smells like a complete SCAM. This is not the last time we will be communicating on this subject I am sure. So please spare me the requests to leave positive reviews about a company who has done me wrong.

You guys are doing an excellent job. My only request though was to try and clear up my bank credit card, which is TD Bank where I bank at. I did speak to somebody about it. You guys are settling the Capital One card, which is great but I would love for somehow to fit in the TD bank card because again I bank there And would just love to feel comfortable about my banking process.

The gentleman from Freedom that I talked to seemed to be very nice and told me that they could help me out. However, one thing that I wasn't really thrilled about is that I've had to stop all payments of everything. I have really good credit. But then I thought if that's the only way to go, then I'm gonna do it and see how it works out. Creditors were calling me and I was getting letters. But they've all stopped.

I just chose Freedom Debt Relief because it's eventually a way out. When I joined up, they told me when I will pay my monthly payment to the dedicated account, instead of me choosing when I pay what day of the month. I agreed to it because I didn't know what was going on with it. They just said, "You'll pay on the 24th, and you'll pay this much," and that was it. It was almost like I didn't have a choice. Also, they should be more upfront about what they charge. I didn't read too much about it. But I didn't realize until recently that they charge 25% for every settlement that they do. It makes me wonder if I would be better off with them or without them. Other than that, it's easy to contact the customer service and ask questions.

The experience with Freedom Debt Relief has been really good. I was having a rough year. They came up with a number which was a little high. But we worked it out so it was lower. Their consultants were very direct and they took their time. They were able to answer a lot of the questions that I had and it wasn't like a pushing type of thing. The person I spoke to really didn't lie about anything. I also had to call somebody once about the dashboard and then they worked me through it.

Too many phone calls and notices. I feel very threatened when receiving them, then there are notifications through the mail that are very upsetting, I've called your company more than once to make you aware, and I've been told to ignore the calls and the company will handle it, but the calls continue to come, I don't know what else to do, this is my first time dealing with this type of situation, I appreciate all that you're doing for me, and thank you for all that you do.

Communication with Freedom Debt Relief is really easy. You can reach them by phone really easily. However, my experience has not been so good. I had a problem with the bank, and I had to pay a lot more than the initial debt. The initial debt was $4,000, and they didn't do the negotiation on time, and the bank sent me some citation to go to court, and at the end, I have to pay more than $6,000 for this account. I'm trying to solve my debt but because this is a business, they discount their services in advance and then go to the payments to the banks. So, it's not fair because I already deposited a lot of money in the account they have, but they first charged me their services in full, and then they started paying the banks little by little.

Freedom debt relief has helped me to realize the impact of debt on myself I created. Now I know credit card debt and loan debt buried me. So while it takes time to remove the burden of debt I have had my eyes opened to my crazy spending and have cut down on everything. No more buying because I wanted it. Now it’s a do I want it or do I need it. Being retired is eye opening to say the least. But lesson learned.

I am very pleased with FDR! The communication & settlement schedule are getting me closer to my goal. Emails, CFT records and my dashboard help me keep track of progress, changes & legal situations. Today, I took the first steps in regaining my financial stability. My husband transitioned in 2024. He was the "money guru" and made sure that he secured a sound financial foundation for me should he pass away from cancer. I've liked working with Freedom. Only complaint is I need something done with Discover/Capitol 1 before they come after me. I've enjoyed having many of our accounts taken care of or in the program. And there has been no pressure to increase our monthly payment, which is great. I would recommend this program for sure.

Even though I’m in early stages everything has been great! From start to where I am now everything was explained in detail and we are moving through the process to a better future for myself and my family, I would recommend this process to anybody that feels like there is no light at the end of the tunnel!

I’m sure this company has worked for a lot of people, unfortunately, for me from the very beginning, the people were very misleading about how the company worked. And it may be listed in writing somewhere hidden beneath the stacks of paper that you sign, but how the program works was not well explained to me from the beginning, and I have just been pretty miserable with it. Because I am in the process of paying off bills. I am sticking with the program, but it has completely ruined my credit, my credibility, and the customer service was not 100% honest with me with how this program works.

I am just at the very beginning of the program. So far, everyone at Freedom Debt Relief has been extremely helpful, competent, and encouraging. By the time I finally found Freedom Debt Relief, I had become hopeless and frightened. When he died, my husband left me with only one asset, my home, and I was on the verge of losing even that. Within an hour on the phone with Chris **, I knew that I had finally found a company that actually cared and actually wanted to help me. In this day and age of computer-generated everything, I felt lost and alone. There were so many things that I didn’t understand and there were hackers and thieves just waiting to pounce every time I picked up my iPhone or even went to a dealership to get my car serviced.

The only issue is I requested a payment a week later. FDR was suppose to take a payment on the second and hasn’t. FDR hasn’t contacted the collectors yet. However I’m hoping to relieve my debt asap and have the collectors stop calling all together.

I repeatedly had large amounts that I paid off from pocket. I requested the payment be adjusted several times. Nothing but excuses. Save your money and call your creditors yourself. They are consumer predators with high fees and low results. Several accounts they charged their fees and the fees were higher than the results of the amount of debt removed. There are better options out there. I ended up filing bankruptcy due to not being able to pay this extreme amount every month. It was approximately 30% of the monthly payment for fees. That costs more than a typical credit card. I would recommend calling your creditors yourself first, if it is still not possible file bankruptcy. Both of which I would recommend before you use this company.

Brings great comfort I know all the bills will be taken care of while you sit back and lay back and just pay back what you have to. Do minimum every month. Really gives you the comfort and you pay more. It’ll be paid off faster and they do what they gotta do to take care of the job for you. Let relax and pay back more if you can, knowing for sure you have the minimum.

Once I signed up and spoke to my first debtor. The stress started to go away. I’ve had some good experiences with Freedom Debt Relief so far. However, there was a representative who was responsible for me having an unfortunate incident at my bank. I was not happy at all. She made me lose faith in the program for a little while. Since then another representative got me back on track.

My experience with Freedom debt relief was shaky at first and I saw my good credit score of 700+ take a dive which caused me some stress. Since 2 of my 5 accounts working with Freedom debt relief has started to help reduce the amount I owe them and now are accepting Freedom debt payments. Also my credit rating is still poor but has since improved. My faith in Freedom debt relief has improved plus the work shops are wonderful because I get more training on how to manage my finances and hear other people stories to improve my way of spending.

Every thing working out very good. Fast moving, easy people to work with. If I were able to do so I'd like to be able to put more away so thing would end faster for me. My bad part is our internet where I live. Some days you have it good, other days I think snail mail would be faster.

I received a response to my request for help enrolling my Beyond Finance into my Freedom Debt Relief program. Instead of help, I was told I used the wrong email address. This is completely unacceptable! Instead of help, I get more roadblocks! I see no effort on your part to resolve this issue.
