Haven't had any problems. The pay offs have been continuous. Smaller debts were paid off 1st. I would have hoped the larger ones would have but they know what they are doing because they have been doing it for a long time and they are rated in the top 3 debt consolidation companies.

Not happy at all with this service. Not what I expected and very disappointing. Wasting more money, time and affect my credit. I got two lawsuit in less than a month and so far the first it went bad. Had to pay more of what I originally owe when I enrolled my debt.

I wanted to get some of these bills taken care of, so I reached out to Freedom Debt Relief. I've only got maybe just year and a half and everything should be taken care of. The only thing was settlement fees are a little high. But anytime I have questions, I just call them. I haven't had any problems there. They seem to take care of everything. I called Freedom Debt Relief because I was drowning in late bills and creditors were harassing me. I definitely feel that FDR did a great job of getting my debt cut in half, but the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I felt that some of their fees that FDR charged were a little too high for some accounts..

Too slow to resolve. My credit is in worse shape so can't buy a car or refi home. They settle for less but you pay the original amount agreed upon. I could have done all this myself, let them fall to collections and negotiated a payment plan. Got scammed. Stay away from this company.

It's nice to have help to get back on track after many set backs, it makes it easier to get a brighter future, and take some weight off the financial pressure. Everyone has been very helpful and great at explaining everything.

I'm not happy with FDR. Originally, I didn't want to file bankruptcy 'cause I thought it'd be harder on my credit but it turns out that going with FDR is probably harder. They didn't tell me how it worked exactly. What happened was I agreed to an X amount of money monthly which I paid for almost two years. In that time, what I thought they were going to do was contact all my creditors and say, "Here's what she's doing, so just hang tough and you'll get paid." But they didn't. They waited 'til it went to court.

My accountant gave Freedom Debt Relief a reference and when I spoke to them, it seemed to be fine. They looked at my debt and told me how much I was going to pay. I would call and they would answer my questions. Sometimes it was good, sometimes it wasn't. Now, we're in the middle of COVID too, so that doesn't help matters. Two of my credit cards went through fine. My Discover card didn't. I didn't feel that they made much of an attempt to settle with them and we ended up in a lawsuit and I ended up being sued. I was an individual that always paid my bills, and it got out of control and I couldn't. So, it made me feel uncomfortable not paying my bills and not in charge of my own money. But overall, Freedom Debt made me feel comfortable pretty much. I still have two years worth of payments to make. It's difficult and I'm getting it done. So, it was a good thing.

Very impressed so far with the overall knowledge of George ** and how he took the time in detail to explain and walk me through everything. He made me very comfortable in my decision to go through this debt consolidation.

This company has a great track record with me slowly getting out of debt that allows me to have some extra money to do things I couldn't do before with family and friends. They care about you and if you have any questions their staff can provide you with the answers you're looking for.

Everything is ok. I'm concerned about the size of your fees. Percentage fees don't reflect the value of the effort put in by your firm for each settlement. I really don't have much more to say. Perhaps you could let me know the major steps in each negotiation.

I was told that most settlements would be 50% of the debt owed. I was not told that it would be based on the amount owed after more interest has accrued, so the settlements are much higher. I have one more debt that needs settlement and it's on hold, where they could be negotiating as things stand. Instead, my debt is growing. I'm not sure how I feel about this program any longer. I was happy in the beginning, but it's dragging on and I don't feel they care much for me, just their business. I don't fault them for it, but the woman that helped me get signed onto the program was amazing and I thought more of the company then.

They are very helpful and encouraging during this process. I was given suggested responses to creditors and information on what stage the process is in for several creditors. There are often emails suggesting follow-up on my dashboard to see the progress made so far.

I'm happy with FDR. They were the first company to contact me with a good rate. They also were very helpful during the phone call. They were quick with the decision and efficient. It was five credit cards that I had and I'm already down to two of them. I make a payment every two weeks or however many weeks I have in the month, and they take care of it. Working with FDR has given me better control over my budget. It helps me out a lot with backed up payments for these credit card companies. It's a load off my shoulders.

Great program to help get debt under control. However, I still have creditors bothering me even after I contacted them. I was told that I was the one who needed to contact and advise them of the program, I always thought that the program notifying them would be more supportive.

My initial contact with FDR was excellent. The representative was helpful and explained everything and answered all my questions. The monthly payment was made to coincide with my income. The payoffs of my debt have been consistent and always for less than the original amount owed.

I had 22K in credit card debt paying $1200.00 per month. It was reduced to a third of that. Allowing me enough money each month that I can finally afford to find an apartment for myself. So I can move out on my own.

When I started out my experience was excellent! But a year ago a representative accidentally closed the wrong account that had a settlement on and active payments. Nothing has been done since I noticed and brought it to their attention. It’s been 10 months and many phone calls from me and nothing! So, they would compute and then, they would let me know. Before we agreed on anything, they would call me. They also gave notifications when my payment was due. My relationship with them was very good and they were very professional in their dealings with me.

Account is going to law firm and I understood this account was being monitored closely. After several phone conversations not happy with the response I received in the past several phone calls. I just felt like this matter was urgent and not something to take lightly.

Not happy with my overall experience with this company or this review for that matter. Nothing is explained properly and each time you talk to a different person you get different answers. Started out paying 300, now paying 424. Got sued by one of my credit card companies. Can't wait to pay off my cards and never have to deal with this again.

Had to pay one account off, after given advice to do so, but it seemed as if I had committed a faux pas by the tone of subsequent communications. Nonetheless, staff still pleasant and helpful. The reps at Freedom Debt Relief were on top of everything. They explained what they do, how they would do it and how they would help us. FDR does a good job of helping, taking stress off of you and settling all your problems to make you feel better.

Freedom Debt Relief has helped me a bit with reducing my monthly payments. They set up a thing then I pay them one payment instead of two outstanding payments. What gets me about them now is I agreed to a 4-year contract with them. Looking at their website, it says it's going to keep on going for 10 months more before the second debt is paid off. They drag their feet and don't get it done. That's not on me, that's on them. They know what they're doing but I'm not happy. They're gonna rob me blind for another 10 months and I didn't sign up for 4 years and 10 months.

Every time I called or emailed with a question the staff was able to answer my question in a quick manner or find a supervisor who could explain the situation. I appreciate their honesty and not wasting my time. I would refer to family and friends who need their services.

Even though, supposedly the company have settled my accounts. The creditors still send my accounts to collections creating an even harder way to get my credit score up. Plus I called many times and it seems the people don't want to help, and the only thing they say is to scan the letters and they take care of it. NOT.

Never able to talk with anyone, during that time, and using the notary service was very poor, due to not working with Apple computers. Had to use snail mail, many phone call. Because this is not a bankruptcy, I do not qualify for form 982 and required to pay taxes on money I have not received. I have absolutely NO money to pay additional taxes and would love if you guys could lower my payments.

I am currently in litigation for one of my debts filed with FDR. My attorney retained thru NLLG, advised me to deposit the money to cover the debt so that they could negotiate this debt. I contacted FDR before doing this and ask them not to touch the money because I was using it to negotiate a legal matter. I was assured the money would not be used and it would be safe.

I had a lot of accounts and FDR sure took a load off in my mind. I started out with somebody named Alex but whenever they call me to sign off on a contract, it doesn't matter who I talk to because they've all been very nice. Anytime I call, they answer. I can reach a human and they can explain what they need. They're very good about keeping me up to date on what they're paying and several of my debts have been settled. They've been Johnny-on-the-spot. If I get a creditor that says I need to pay right away or they're going to make a judgment, I call or text FDR. Next thing I know, they're working on that debt. The one thing I'd like to know is what it's going to cost me when it's over which I haven't gotten an answer.

Well been with them over a year. They got one debt paid off for $359.00. Then just paid off another but says in progress. Charging me 798.00 to settle account for $2006.00. Seems kinda high then another account is garnishing me $300.00 A CHECK. You said made deal with them for original amount because it went to court and added fees. Thought you were suppose to negotiate to get lower amount before all these fees are added and you're telling me we got check set to go out end of month. Oh so I'm getting garnished and you're still sending out check for full amount. Another account is ready to start garnishing me too. I paid one off myself because it was going to start garnishing me so I paid the offer I had sent to you because they was going to send to court full amount.

Initially I was a bit nervous, wondering if this was another scam program. (Definitely NOT!) Nothing is better than getting an email or text with a negotiated settlement! This company works fairly quick to settle your debts. Could not have picked a better program!

When I checked into FDR, it sounded like it did what they said it was gonna do. We gave them a list of what we had and how much it was. They negotiated and told us how fast it would be paid off and how much we wouldn't have to pay on each individual account. The rep that I deal with primarily has been upfront as to when they're going to get taken care of and how much I'm going to save. I'm very satisfied with the program. It distributes the money properly to different organizations and takes care of it. We started out with 14 and now 8 of them have been paid off.

The gentleman I talked to was very untruthful to me and led me down a path of what I thought was one thing but was totally something different once I signed up for it. He told me it was only going to cost me a certain amount as a monthly fee to take care of all my debt. Little did I know I'm paying thousands of dollars in fees to Freedom Debt Relief. When I called in to ask about it, the girl got really snooty and snobby with me. She said, “Well, how do you think we're gonna stay in business, if like $9 and something a month for each client?” I was not arguing with her about that. I'm just discouraged as this is not how it was explained to me when somebody tried to sign me up.

I had tried to resolved my credit card debt with little to no support by loan companies. FDR quickly assured me that they would assist in my financial situation and they have. Thank you for the Excellent service provided. I am kept informed of my progress and settlements.

Professional, competent and courteous. Followed through with an email with exactly what I needed. I requested a change in date. The representative did not get it right and I was charged three times that month and it put me in the hall. This time was a pleasure and I really appreciate the representative.

I had two loans with fairly high interest rates and applied for a debt consolidation loan through The Borrowing Club. I was told that while I wasn’t approved for a consolidation loan, that they could settle my debt and I would only need to make one monthly payment to them for 48 months. This payment was much lower than my current monthly payments, so I was interested. I was also told that they didn’t expect it to take the full 48 months and there was no early payoff penalty fee. I researched The Borrowing Club and could find no negative reviews, which I thought was odd.

I recently made a one-time payment to be used to pay off debts they have settled. After talking with them yesterday they're sending an email to another department to see if I'm allowed to. She said it may or may not be used to pay off settled debt. When I deposited the money I told them it was to settle the debt. When I told them I wanted to expedite the remaining two settlements and pay them off ASAP I was told it would take months. Something is not right with this process.

I was told all my debt would be in settlements within one year enrolling. I was also told FDR would take their payments monthly as they pay the creditors, FDR is only worried about getting their money first and settling with creditors last. I would not use this company.

I am very happy with the service I have gotten and the work everyone has done on my behalf. Everyone I have talked to and dealt with has explain the process to exactly how it works and I am very satisfied with all their hard work of helping me out of my debts.

I finalized the negotiations with my creditors. I appreciate for that. Nobody from Freedom has contacted me to explain next steps. I pay off my creditors with a C+ loan that I do not have formal information yet. The only think I’ve seen in my account are several fees applied (deducted from my payments). I am paying accordingly but nobody has given me the terms of my loan and final agreement. This is not satisfying me.

I'm quite happy with the quality of service I've received. I've seen a number of complaints about them, but I have not had any of these experiences. I've already had multiple accounts paid off.

The lady I spoke with was very informative and helpful. She answered all my questions and took time with me making it very clear for me to understand. FDR is in my prayers every night. Thanking the Lord for all the help FDR has given me. She was GREAT.

Not only does sending an email not accomplish anything, they don't follow through on the account mitigation. I have three accounts, the very first one was messed up and re-reported on my credit. After they finally fixed the settlement they failed to have the account removed from my report like they did the first time. I should have just let it all go to collection and paid on my own time.

I was told when I signed by Rep. Liane ** that since I resides in the state of Pennsylvania the fee would be 6% by law. I was given a offer by Navy Credit Union roughly about $5700.00 and FDR fee would be about $2400.00 that extremely more than 6% very dissatisfied, if not given the 6% promise I will be canceling my membership. Please call me today to abide the promise of 6% **.

I've called several times to get an account removed from my plan and Ciera (I hope I spelled it right) finally got it done for me. Turns out it probably advanced my program and I'm done! Of all the folks who have helped me she seemed to know the most about the program and was the best customer service experience I've had. Which is saying something because everyone has been pretty great.

Excellent customer service. When I called they answered all my questions. And they will be helping me to get financial freedom. What can I say? My experience with the representative at Freedom Debt Relief was excellent. She asked me what rather than telling me what. If you stay with the script and don’t detour it can work out for you too. You have to believe. Sometimes we can be our worst enemy.

I signed up with Freedom Debt Relief in August of 2017, I was told that I would graduate the program in August of 2021. More than halfway through the program, that date got changed to December of 2021 to January of 2022. After my last account was settled, that date changed to March of 2022. Not super happy about how I have gone over and above what I was asked to do and FDR hasn't. I don't imagine that I would ever recommend your services to anyone in the future. Just how I feel... Sorry.

I called multiple times to speak to somebody. I kept getting a text saying my settlement would have to be done over due to lack of funds. I have other debt I want to add. Nobody has gotten back to me on that. I have uploaded it also. Your fees you are tacking on are not saving me as much as you make a person think.

I called Freedom Debt Relief and they answered my questions. Their rep Teresa really helped me out. She said, “Let's get you started. This is the right thing for you to do.” And that was the best thing I did. It's working out really well for me. FDR has been there to help me and I'm so happy I chose it. It's really helped me down the line.

I would try a million other ways. I was needing a break and some help, but you get charged 21% for what they negotiate and then a year into the program they finally offer you the Freedom Plus loan which is another like 25% and your credit is now in shambles. Then the NLLG lawyers that they partner with are not helpful, nor communicative. In the end I saved almost no money and my credit score fell over 200 points. It was not a great experience.

I feel like I could have made the same settlements myself. Not as significant as lead to believe. Though I have agreed to settlements presented I feel it should be no more than 50% instead of average 30% less than amount owed.
