Freedom Debt Relief has been really good with me. They help by cutting the payments in half and trying to get them paid. I like them. I got a lot longer to go though. I had to set some payment arrangements. With the covid situation, I'm still not back to working full-time.

Negotiating with the creditors was absolutely a relief to me, knowing what I would have to repay. My only complaint would be the monthly payments you the customer would be making for example: $ 400 twice a month. That fees were taken out then the balance of each payment would be split between the number of creditors that a payment had been scheduled with. But it is what it is. I am happy I found the company, I have almost completed it, I have not opened any new accounts, DO NOT EVER PLAN TO,

I've been with Freedom Debt Relief for almost three years and my largest Creditor Debt that I included in my Dedicated Account was attacked by an out of State Law Firm and my paycheck has been garnished for not only the original amount but an additional $450.00 for Court and Attorney fees. The sooner I'm done with this Company, the happier I will be.

Freedom Debt Relief works with the creditors and tries to get the amount lower so it’s easier to pay. My life is better now. I don't have to worry about all that debt I have. I'm glad that we're getting rid of them. A couple times, some of the creditors weren't accepting the offer and were trying to sue me for some money. But National Litigation helped me with it. They got it resolved pretty fast.

I reached out to game plan my last debt getting into negotiations. In the process strategizing how to pay off ALL the remaining balances. This way I can start to improve my credit score more drastically. My time with Freedom Debt Relief is drawing near an end, I’ve been very happy with the services, they’ve allowed me to get out of debt in a manageable way.

Whenever I need answers, I get them promptly. Staff who respond is always courteous. Nothing is inaccessible. So far I am totally satisfied with your service. Recently I received a note of derogatory nature that surprised me. It is to do with a no compliance of monthly payment if it happens. Money is tight and savings ran out - what then. I don’t think it’s a good practice to drop anyone suddenly without offering a solution.

They would be normally a 5, but the account number was mark as a duplicate instead of the account number it's suppose to be. Once this get straightened out I will be much happier with the accounts. Because this other acct was going to get taken off the and I guess I would be stuck paying the entire amount. If that would be the case I don't know where that would put me.

I do trust in Freedom Debt Relief to take care of my needs and get me debt-free. The reps are very efficient about telling me everything that I need to know. The timeframe seems like forever which is until April of 2022 but they said if they get this last one that I had left less offer for it to pay off, my balance could drop more. It could be sooner than that date which is what I'm hoping for. From time to time, I use their dashboard and it kind of gives you an idea of what the settlements are and what you're paying. I would tell others to use them because there are so many out there that you have to be very careful using.

I enrolled in the program in August 2020. I needed this program to help me get back on track after changes in my job. The program for the most part has been very good, and your customer service team is exceptional in their responses on my account. I was able to settle on one account and that helped me tremendously. The problem I encountered when one creditor took legal action against me. I provide all the legal information to your customer service team and they advised it has been referred to your legal partner McCarthy Law.

I was basically working to pay credit cards. Never had peace of mind of the years it was going to take to pay them off. The teams of specialist work very hard and are great at their jobs. Being debt free is an amazing feeling. Thank you Freedom Debt Relief for everything you have done for us.

When you are negotiating with the creditor are you trying to reduce the late fees, etc? For example: my debt when I started with you was $266.00 and you all negotiated my debit with creditor $322.00. I hope when you negotiate you try to negotiate to my original balance. Very disappointing!!

This company has been helping me get rid of my debts. Anyone in deep debt should call them for help. I am almost debt free because of them. There is great communication to keep you informed and a client dashboard to keep up to date.

They do their best. I have only one creditor that is bothering me and Freedom Debt has not help me from getting bothered. But they are working on other creditors. Otherwise they are a great company to work with.

I called to lower my monthly installments. I only have 2 accounts left. The woman I talked to told me if I lowered my payment for 1 month it would add an extra month at the end. I asked for 106 dollars and it would cost me 706 at the end. I didn’t understand why she wouldn’t give me the reason. If any questions call me **.

We were preparing for retirement and although we were never behind or late with any of our payments to our creditors they would not help us by lowering our interest rates to get them paid off. I had heard and read good things about Freedom Debt Relief so I went with them. They managed to get a couple of my accounts settled pretty quickly. But there were ones that were dragging on a little bit more than I would have liked to. Other than that, the service was good. Everybody was very informative and very helpful. There were two instances during the COVID problems that I didn't have the money to pay on the date that my bill was due and I asked Freedom if I could have it moved up. They would move the date up for me or just simply skip that month. Right now, we're out of the program. I called Friday last week and had the program stopped. I'm having some health issues and I'm not able to work so I don't have any income coming in right now. I decided to file bankruptcy at this point. I would still tell others to go ahead and try Freedom. They would do a good job.

Freedom Debt Relief seemed more advance in terms of their website and they were upfront with all the fees and explained everything. Their representative was really good in terms of explaining the process, the difference between that and bankruptcy and the consequences of both. I went into it by getting a lot of information from them. The times that I have called were generally to get a break on the deposits I was making because of cutting work hours. They always did that for me and any question I had, I got an answer. I'm pretty much done with the program. There's only one left and the last two that aren't finished are only one or two payments more.

This program has helped us to get out of debt and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They keep us informed as to what is going on with our program; which debts have been paid fully and which ones are still being paid.

Multiple submissions concerning Citi 2624 no concrete answers. Just canned responses and claims I did not submit legal papers. I have three times. Not happy no communication on your end I called twice sent an additional 625.00 and was just asked to submit more money via a canned answer on your part. I resubmitted last night and again got a canned response. My court comes soon 7/16 and still no settlement.

FDR is very thorough company. My debt cleared on target projection! I can now start fresh and feel financially in good place! I can say I only had one delay creditor to settle but finally all my debt reached settlements!! I have referred a family member to FDR and hopefully it will be good move for him. I kept calling the lawyer's office and they said they didn't have my file. The FDR customer service reps saw it was sent over. However, the truth is that it can't go over to the lawyer's office until there are funds in my account. I have been going back and forth for two weeks with McCarthy's and FDR. Give customer service the proper access to give complete answers to customers because they are on the front lines. Otherwise, everyone I have spoke to have been very nice and courteous.

Needed information. It was an easy matter to do with the person who professionally, yet in a friendly way, provided me with the info. Five stars. From my experience with FDR I would definitely recommend them to someone else. So take my word for it, you have a polished yet familiar company with employees that clearly know what they are doing.

Christine was able to address my concerns about the plus program. Didn’t understand what the loan was about and how the program was. The agent who was signed to my account was difficult to talk to so I call Customer service and they explain my concerns

Was very helpful and sent me via email a copy of my original credit report and my contract. I needed these because Target is taking me to civil court for things I don't owe them. My hearing is July 7th.

It started slow, we were confused at first, but now we're almost done and so far everything is going great. We're able to think about getting a house and are applying for a mortgage. Although we have had success with this I hope we never have to hear from them again after we're done. Lol, I can't wait to be done.

Would not recommend to anyone. We would have been better off negotiating with our creditors ourselves. We were told we would not be sued and we were, not once but twice. It has taken way longer to pay off than we’re told and we did everything we were told to do.

It works. Friendly people who are always helpful. They don’t try to talk you into anything. Everything is explained clearly. Made a big difference in my life. Call them and they will answer all your questions. Most of my settlements have been 50% or less.

The program was slow at first but took off like a wildfire. Just be glad when it is all completely done. After months and months of waiting then finally getting approved for the loan. Got scammed, felt really stupid & found myself in deep debt with no financial resolution in sight. I was lost and totally alone. FDR's program and quick assist took a huge load off my mind. I'm just getting started, but feel confident I'm headed in the right direction with a reliable company to get me through the process. I know there will be bumps along the way but I'm ready to do what I need to knowing FDR is by my side.

This company traded every card account that I had and saved me a few thousand dollars. I am happy with the customer service as well. It helped me a lot to be able to review the accounts and see the result of each negotiation and what I needed to accomplish. Although I had to pay a percentage to the company for each card they negotiated for me, I think it was worth it!

The program has been very good and the timeframe came out better than I thought it would. However, the dashboard can be confusing. When I look up where my case is, sometimes I can get it out and look at exactly what's going on, but other times, it doesn't seem to want to connect. Also, when I was talking to the lawyers, they had a hard time putting things in layman's terms. They need to communicate better and talk like they're talking to another person, not in a courtroom or a law office. They don't have to be so strict and regimented. Everybody else was great.

The program went on longer than we thought it was going to. It was supposed to be a four-year thing but it went about six. But we made it through and we're satisfied. It's great to know that the program is over. We're supposed to be getting a graduation packet and we're waiting on that now. We also have some extra money in our account that they're supposed to return to us so that's a little plus right there. A cousin of mine was asking me about the program. She and her husband are in about the same predicament. I spoke of Freedom Debt Relief very highly. I told her that it was a good choice that we did make. It did relieve a lot of pressure on us. We did get the credit cards paid off and didn't get calls. They did what they said they would do. Our questions were always answered and towards the end, they worked with me.

I was inquiring about my term of agreement that I had agreed upon which was 4 years not 5 years as my dashboard reflects. The representative assured me this was just a calculation but not my true graduation date. She explained the process and assured me I would still finish by the 4 year term. I hope I was given the true answer. I will be checking my dashboard religiously on my last year of completion to make sure we stay on track. Thank you for making feel at ease for now.

Updated on 01/21/2023: We were over our head in unsecured credit cards. We had two options to turn to either file for Bankrupt or turn to Freedom Debt Relief. We picked up the phone and called and were out of debt in less than five years. We have learned to live within our means. I'm almost done with this program. It was a lot easier than trying to figure it out for myself. Having someone make my bidding did wonders. No phone calls from creditors. No headaches. That's it for me Thanks, FDR....

The process goes pretty smoothly. My only concern is that fees are taken prior to more negotiations. I get that they want to make sure they get paid if you default in making payments first but seems like more debt could be resolved faster if that was not happening. And if you default the negotiated settlement would be in jeopardy and voided. And most likely would need renegotiated again for more fees to be collected. But most settlements are about 50% of the debt owed less the fees. I put extra in my dedicated account but it does not seem to be getting me settlements quicker. As they are still sticking to the timeline indicated for next settlement. So now instead of me collecting interest on that money they are. I thought placing about 50% of one of the debts would help but no movement yet.

If I recommend it for its slta efficiency in negotiating the pahoa s the accounts and bringing them back into a plan and the good management of the payment of the debts was giving my credit score recovering my credit

Freedom has been fantastic to work with. Everyone has been kind, helpful, understanding and much more. Always helpful and when you experience a problem, they help immediately and work to get it resolved as soon as possible. Everything they do is right on schedule, exactly the way explained in the itinerary. Go to your dashboard and there is an explanation! Any questions, just ask! We were hesitant at first and not about Freedom, but the entire program because of being such a huge step to take in life. They quelled all of those doubts. Have them take the first step with you and you quickly realize the second one is very simple!

I'm happy with Freedom Debt Relief. Their customer service is very good. But when you're in a lot of debt, the program takes a lot of time so you have to have a lot of patience. You got to really put a lot of money into it. At first they said the program was going to take three or four years, but it's gonna be more than that now. But in another two years, it'll probably be all over, hopefully.

Freedom Debt Relief has an outstanding program and they're easy to work with. They don't bully you around like creditors do. They have a vested interest in making sure that you don't make the same mistakes you made in the past getting the debt and they have a journal to help you plan out a budget or to understand how to save money. It has been the easiest, low-threat program I've ever been in. It’s the only time I’ve been in a debt relief program, but they've definitely done everything they said they were gonna do and I don't get a bunch of emails or calls anymore. They're getting everything lined up and paid in a decent timeframe.

The only thing is the creditors are trying to recap money by sending to IRS. The portion of the money that is not recaptured is being taken by IRS as income. I do appreciate all that is being done by Freedom Debt Relief.

They give you a way to settle your debts without doing bankruptcy. Your credit is still damaged, but you are at least paying what you can to clear debt. We unfortunately had some major illness and job loss. Our debt situation was beyond our ability to pay. They arranged our debts, negotiated and arranged monthly payments.

FDR has helped me get my debt under control and resolved. They are great people that work with you to get your debt problems resolved as quickly as possible. If I have a question I'm always able to get a hold of someone for help on answering it. They have saved me money too. Great place!

It really did help me get out of my debt, relieve the stress of debtors calling me. Just ignore fixing my credit because I’m interested in buying a house. It is very stressful when people are constantly calling and sending your court papers. They handle the court part of it as well.

I have completed the program in five years and could have never resolved my credit card debt that quickly on my own. My debt was decreased with the help of Freedom Debt Relief. See above. I’d like it to be faster. It seems that FDR picks the smallest debt after having settled the Lending Club debt. I guess I wonder how my money is doing and where it’s going. Can you tell me why my Chase debt isn’t addressed yet?

Talked a big game to get you enrolled and when it's time to go to work. That's when it tumbled down. You tried to add 10 year old debts that werent on my list. Then others popped up that I never heard of and I asked who they were you couldnt tell me. Not happy with this process at all. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Freedom Debt Relief. Things started off slow, as my funds built up, and non- payment of bills also increased. I would be remiss not to state I was somewhat worried and frustrated. My counselor held my hand and stated things were going as planned. They reduced my debt by 57% and as I stated I’m extremely satisfied and “I’m FREE”. Graduating early!

They will help you get your debt together without a financial burden. I highly recommend this company for anyone who need help getting their financial together. They also have lawyers to help you if you have to go to court.

The person helped me and explained all my options and what effect it would be in all scenarios. I decided by what he said. He was very thorough with the info he gave me. I understand what I need to do., He invited me to call back at any time especially if I have another situation that I have to reduce the amount I can deposit.

The gentleman that handled my inquiry was intelligent and well-educated/trained in my area of concern. He helped resolve the issue and was very friendly and gracious at the end of our conversation. Only reason for the “4” score is that I called previously and the call was dropped after having made contact and explaining my situation. That person was definitely an employee anyone would want, having the perfect personality for the job.

I tend to get reserved sometimes, so it's hard for me to vocalize, but FDR's reps has been really good to me. Initially, I didn't want to go that route, but when the VA cut me off, that took over almost $150 out of my income and I was fighting to everything. But they've helped me get the finances turned around where I can live better. I get a little anxious sometimes because I want my problem to end, but everything takes time. You just got to have patience.

Review: Since my wife Has lost her job due to her illness Freedom Debt Relief has been there for us to help us Through the hard times. I was caught in a very difficult situation caused by someone else ruining my credit. This company did everything they could to make it as easy as possible, worked with me during difficult times, so far top notch. They kept in touch with updates or if there was a problem along the way. Hopefully my account will be closed soon and creditors will be satisfied with the offers received to settle the outstanding accounts.

I found that the primary explanation on how this would affect our credit was unsatisfactory. I also feel that some of the smaller amounts should have been cleared first; had I know they would have been left for last I would have not referred them and would have paid them off myself.

If I had it to do over again, I would never have signed up with this company. My credit is in worse shape than when I started. Accounts end up as charge-offs which stay on your credit report for 7 years. How is FDR a better option than bankruptcy? And when I called to discuss this with a rep, he all but called me stupid for not understanding. Make sure you do your homework before signing up with a debt consolidation company and FOR SURE DO NOT USE FDR!

I started with Freedom Debt Relief in 2018. They came up with an amount that I would have to pay every time I got paid. For a while, my credit score went down until settlements were reached. Once I reached settlements, they kind of froze. As they got paid off, my credit got better. I have about a year and a half to go with the program unless I can find a way to increase my payment.

The settlements take way too long. I was offered settlements a lot lower than you negotiated for, but was advised that you couldn't act on those. You sat on accounts until judgments were filed. The amounts you charge to 'negotiate' were astronomical. You're unforgiving and unyielding. You sit on my money to draw interest after withdrawing the funds from my bank and before money is disbursed. VERY BAD business. You take advantage of those that are in dire need and give them poor advice.

They have helped me out tremendously with my debt relief. Customer service is super informative and the legal counsel is top notch. I was rather nervous in the beginning and the reassured me that everything would be ok and I am now a little over a year of graduation.

They did all the negotiating and I was able to get a loan that accelerated the process and pay off the debt in half the time. This was a good experience overall. There was someone always there to help me without waiting.

FDR did what they said they'd do. The implied case was not the specific case. Looking for a 45% debt reduction means really only ⅓. Freedom takes their 21% of the whole, off the top. Before the people we owed got money, FDR took ALL their payments first. Don't forget the Fees are additional and monthly and unreasonable. I can see a fee to set up the account and bank links, but once done, it's automatic, there is no reason for a continued monthly fee, adding to over $100 per year for 3 years. Sweet Deal huh? They do what they said, but not what is implied.

The process with Freedom is taking some time and it's costing money. But it seems to be working out and it is slowly impacting my life. I would suggest Freedom to friends that need help.

Freedom Debt Relief has be been a great help to me. The timing that I did it was great. Since I lost my job and have been able to put all my bills under one and that I don't have to speak to anyone has been great for me.

I previously sent in a summons but I didn't know I was supposed to send it to National Liquidation Group and now it might be too late. They might be taking action against me. I am very upset about this matter.

A friend had been with Freedom and it really helped her. I called to see if I could qualify and I did. Freedom has a fantastic employee relationship. They made things a lot easier for me. There were many times I got stressed but talking to a representative certainly helped me. It was just the way they interact with me. It's fantastic. I've never experienced that. Freedom is a great program. It took about six months before the first debt started to get settled. We had a problem after three years, where one went into the court thing. Freedom helped me a great deal. Everything is okay at the moment. I have one year left after July.

When I contacted FDR I was carrying a heavy credit card debt. I was paying $800 a month to pay off the debts but with the interest charges, the debt was only slowly coming down. FDR got balances reduced and payment is halved with no monthly interest added to balance. I'll soon be out of credit card debt and I no longer charge more than I can pay off quickly. I highly recommend FDR. That debt is off my shoulders.

They've taken care of all the problems I've had with the debt situation. It seems like they've really done a good job as far as connecting the debts that I have and trying to solve the problems I've had. They connect me with the particular people that I work with. They call me and keep me informed of what is going on with the settlements and how they're doing with each company that I've put them in contact with.
