I dealt with Spencer. He was very helpful, concerned, and upfront. He explained exactly how the plan would work. He explained how they would draft my monthly payment from my bank account and on what day every month.

I would 10/10 recommend this company for debt consolidation. The staff is such a great support system. This process is not easy but they made it a smooth process. I started my journey swimming in debt and now I am on a path to smarter money habits!

I had an account that a settlement was agreed upon that was not resolved on time and the account was just left sitting for nearly five years. I had to call multiple times and spend hours on the phone to finally resolve it. This cost me more money in extra fees.

On several occasions I have specifically told NOT to take out specific payments and they have been ignored! There's reasons I have had to stop due to taxes or other issues and they have been totally ignored causing more stress and bigger issues.

The company is not transparent when providing information to the client. When you call to speak to a representative you get a different answer each time. If I was would have had a better idea of how this company does business I would have chosen a different way to lower my debt.

So far they have been very thorough and have put me at ease just knowing they are here to help me knowing I made the right move. Put all my fears to rest. Other companies are out there but Freedom has the record to prove it.

They are great people and are helping me reduce my debt but when I wanted to add new accounts the only option was increase monthly payments. Why couldn’t I extend my program? What difference does it make if it takes 5 years or 7? That’s all. Otherwise I do recommend them.

I was not told nor did I have paperwork that said I was gonna be charged 25% of the total enrolled debt that I was gonna be done with my payments by March of 2022 and now I have to make payments for another 2 yrs. What a kick in the balls. It totally screwed my day up when I was told this news. I’ve been struggling and I will continue to struggle for the next 2 years. When I think about it now that bankruptcy might have been a better option. I’m 61 yrs old. So much for that dream.

They have settled all my accounts and saved me money. I have also had a lien put on my taxes by one Creditor for the amount that was adjusted off.; some savings. I have never had an account with this Creditor so please explain. They did not reply to my request.

FDR is doing a good job, however it is taking longer than I expected and I feel that there is not enough communication. I would like more information on my debt resolutions and why they are not sticking to the timeline originally quoted.

Is it enough saying that in the end I have to pay more out of pocket, then was my original debit???! First thing Freedom telling you is to stop payments, in reality credit card companies mounting interest charges until moment when Freedom, not you decide to make arrangements. That’s in average about 1 year. If some cc company take action to court, what happens to me, “don’t you worry, legal tim will represent you”. In reality, that legal company make in court arrangements for you to tay everything- debit, interest, court fees, your representing lawyer fee….

I am disappointed that you don't give me a loan first and work with my creditors to get a lower payoff first. You wait until I go into collections. I should have gotten a loan myself and worked out a payoff myself.

It takes too long to pay off a debt. Seems you’re only interested in your payment which you take in full right away. By the time you try and clear the debt it has doubled and you still collect 25% of the total which most times equals the same that was owed.

We have been completely satisfied with Freedom Debt Relief! We had 13 credit cards and nearly $100k in debt that just kept snowballing each month! Since I have started my consolidation program everyone I have communicated with have been satisfactory. Very helpful and mindful of the situations I have endured. I have 1 account left and they won’t pay it off. I have over $1800.00 in my account and they keep saying it’s not time to pay off the account. Just pay the account off and send me my money back that’s left over!!!! Plus I have to keep having money taken out of my checking account every 2 weeks. I just want to be DONE!!!!

I was dubious at first at seeking assistance with my debt as I had never consolidated anything before and was very apprehensive. I have been talking to a lot of people about the program since I have been in it. A lot of people were interested but no one applied themselves to the program yet. I did my part by telling them about it.

I am happy they y'all are able to help me and the program is good. And I can have some kind of relief. So with all that being said I will continue to try my best and stay in the program. So far good.

I realized that for the first 3-4 accounts that I enrolled, I did save money. Anything that has been enrolled for over 18 months is not worth it because the interest accrued has almost doubled the amount. When FDR negotiates to half of that, along with the settlement fees you're still paying more that the original enrolled amount. Another issue is that you cannot speak to the settlement department team. The operators you speak with cannot even relay a message to them regarding your concerns. My recommendation is to only enroll debt can be negotiated within 2 years. Any smaller accounts, especially anything less than $1,000 unless they can negotiate them early.

This plan works. Try to stick with the plan, it can get tough but FDR is usually able to help come up with a solution to help you through the rough spots. It's taken me a while to get there but I am finally able to see light at the end of a dark tunnel.

So far everyone is very nice and easy to talk to and the process has been very simple. This is the process for you if you are willing and wanting to get out from under the heavy hand of debt. I was feeling crushed and Freedom helped me feel some relief.

I’ve been paying over 2 years more than $20 k and so far what You you’ve closed only 5 accounts, not only that but you are getting PAY half of what my monthly deposit is. I’ve noticed that at the end I’m gonna end it up paying the original debt and it’s ridiculous cause I don’t see any savings

They did an excellent and timely job on getting relief on all but one of my debts. The last one took almost a year to get settled when there were no other debts needing payment. When I asked about I kept getting it's in negotiation but I never saw any movement on it. During this whole time they still took a monthly fee and will get a big fee when the settlement has gone through.

Is terrific so that I can see at all times where I am at with FDR. They rarely have to call me but when I call them, they are very knowledgeable and friendly. There’s a consistency with whoever you speak to and I like that as well. The reason I gave them four stars is because they are very expensive to use.

Should be easier if you deposit all the required money to close out the accounts. For it to take months is a bit ridiculous when you have put a large sum of money in the account. I deposited the full amount required and I am told it can take months to clear my accounts.

Not happy at all. Ended up paying substantial. More to settle with my debt increasing now going past my plan date. Not happy at all. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. What I was told in the beginning is not how it played out plus ruined my credit more. I thought you would put in the credit bureau I was on a payment plan.

I have not been happy with Freedom Debt Relief - even though debts have been settled - my credit is completely trashed, I have had multiple lawsuits and have to claim all of the money that was written off on taxes - so in the long wrong - it did not save me money - they completely lied when I signed up.

I am so relieved to turn my debt over to FDR, although I am not used to not making payments on my two credit cards turned into the program. Applied for consolidated loan, got denied, and offered FDR. 8 months into program after settling for an average of 52% of what I owe, offered a consolidated loan that offers paying off FDR, FDR (21%) fees, and their own interest rate (25.2%) combined meant I'd be paying 98% of my original debt. All for the price of destroying my credit score. They prey own debtors as much as credit card companies. Avoid at all costs. Been in the program for 50 months, aka 4 years 2 months.

It was great having someone negotiate my debt. All I had to do was keep the dedicated account funded every month. It was difficult at times since I didn't have a job for a year of the 6 years, but I made it happen. Very happy to had this done.

Our program is moving along and so far everything has been great! If I ever have to call, very few times, they are always pleasant and helpful. This program has taken a weight off us and helped with debt stress.

Seems to be working well so far. Would like to know what the effects of making an additional $200 per month would have. I have received suggestions on making an additional payment or to increase my monthly amount but have not been shown or explained any results of doing so.

The associate answered all of my questions and was very clear and friendly. The call came in on time and was finished in about 15 minutes. She went over the dashboard and where to find things and how to submit additional information and attach files.

After the settlements are made and you take out your part of the money, I really do not gain much, and on at least 1 settlement it cost me almost 1000$ more than the starting balance. It is getting the issues resolved, It really is not saving me any money in the long run, and my credit is really messed up the whole time. If I would have claimed bankruptcy My credit would be back by now, and my debt would be done. So we will see when it is done how we come out. But I would not do it this way again.

FDR helped me to achieve my goal to pay off my credit cards in due time which improved my credit scores and lessen my debt. FDR can be relied upon all the time and updates me with my account with them. Very reliable and convenient. If I would have known now as I am going through this at the beginning I would never have participated. The amounts being paid to debt considering the amount of balance is not satisfactory. Having a debt of less than 500.00 and saying it takes 2 years to pay off is upsetting and could be paid off with one payment considering the amount in balance.

All of the representatives are very helpful and very thorough explaining and going over any questions or concerns you may have. There is nothing they do not cover to explain how the program works. Every representative I have dealt with was very nice and willing to help.

Since I start this program everything is going very smooth, paying off all my credit cards with nice settlements, it takes a little bit of time but it worth, I’ll recommend this program to whoever have economic issues with credit cards. Thanks so much.

Excellent Program. I don't know what I would have done without them. They took all the stress from me so I could get my life back on track and get the bills paid. Everyone so nice. Being bounced between multiple company names at the beginning of the process should have been a red flag along with the urgency to sign everything that day. Sending all accounts into collections and eventually being charged off was not communicated.

The process was simple, quit paying my credit cards and enroll them all into Freedom Debt Reliefs program. I continued making all my deposits over the years and was able to watch my debts get knocked off one by one as they were negotiated. I just finished my last settlement and my credit is back to being good again. I would definitely recommend this and have recommended this program to people who are in a lot of debt and are only making minimum payments. I am in my mid 30's now with a good credit score and no credit card debt. All I owe is my house and my car.

This program was a God send. Not always fun to deal with this stuff but their team made it clear and simple. After 2 years I was able to pay off $25k in credit card debt and my credit is bouncing back and calls are stopping.

Well done job. However, it needs to put in effort to negotiate with a lower settlement rate. I prefer at most @ 50% settlement rate that I’m going to accept. Sometimes, I have to settle at 70% rate. Adding back 18% of enrollment rate for service fee, it’s not worth to join the program.

Updated on 07/22/2022: I can't say enough about this program. The people at this company were always pleasant when you called and were always so helpful and encouraging. As they predicted I graduated December 2021 so much faster than any other financial institution. I was so surprised to see how much money they saved me. When I was able to I increased my biweekly payment amount which also helped to pay my debt off earlier.

While the idea behind FDR is not bad, they sold me using high pressure sales tactics and completely false promises. I started with roughly 45,000-47,000 in total debt. I have made deposits of roughly 33,000 into the program so far and I still have outstanding debt of 14,000. I literally didn’t benefit at all from the program, even though I never missed a deposit in 3 years. The fees they charge to settle the debts outweighs any savings you may have on interest or the debt being “written off” by the creditor, all while completely ruining your credit. When I joined FDR I had never missed a payment on any account. My credit is now shattered and when I’m finished with the program (there is also no graduation date given) I will have paid the same amount as what I owed. Beware of companies like this. I regret my choice to work with FDR.

Everything is good. The reason why it Is not 5 stars is because one time there is a confusion about my enrolled credit and people from Freedom Debt Relief seem to have a different answers and it was very frustrating. Other than that, everything is great, everyone is nice, customer service very good. Thank you!

The one thing that stands out to me is that FDR does exactly what they say that they do in helping to eliminate debt for much less than what you originally owe. In many instances, at fifty percent less and even greater! They have been very supportive and transparent in everything they do. If you stick to the plan and use the client dashboard everything works well.

I appreciate FDR for their service in resolving nearly all my debts and soon to graduate. At the onset, l was overwhelmed with my debts, which led to frustration and cognitive deficit. I consulted a representative who assisted me in setting a road map to financial freedom.

I have an account I have been paying on for approximately 2 years. The balance was down from the 9,000 mark to around 4,000 mark. My dedicated account was short 7.50. I paid it on time but I was not told there was a clearing period before this was actually in my account. Therefore my account went null & void & was sent to NLL & then back to Freedom & is not being paid on now. It is showing I am back to the original 9,000 mark after paying 2 years on this account. When I deposit my 232.00 every two weeks there is not a waiting period. My money is taken right away but because I was 7.50 short my account is not being worked on now. I do not need legal action from this creditor over 7.50. I have been faithful with my payments. This account should be back on my active list & payments should be continued or reestablished.
