Team has been incredibly helpful and didn’t make me feel bad for the situation I’m in. I appreciate all my questions being answered and being available for me. They followed up quickly and activated as soon as I said I was ready. The only thing I don’t understand is the delay in pulling my money and it was entered incorrectly the first time so it took even longer but other than that it’s been great. I trust they will help me get back in order.

I am so glad I went to Freedom to debt under control. I like the way they treat you and they really get things done. I have told everyone I know about Freedom. I am very happy with Freedom and will make sure that everyone knows how happy I am.

I had even with Freedom from five years. Initially, I was assigned a financial counselor that searched my credit history for unpaid or delinquent bills. The counselor then sets up a payment plan that I pay every pay day. Freedom gets a fee from every debt. Easy...EXCEPT when it come to old bills that have long been written off and no longer reported. By law that’s about seven years. For three years, I’ve paid $225 “every two weeks” and nothing paid off. Doing self audit, I was shock to see I was paying an old bill over 10 years old for $10k. I work two jobs so I couldn’t monitor it as closely I would like. I did get it straighten and dropped. But, I lost all that time and money. I recommend the service but don’t rely on counselors to do what’s in your best interest. Approve every bill and challenge those that are past time limitations. Know your state laws on credit reporting.

I started my Freedom debt relief in September of 2018. The reason was my interest was high. I am a 76 year old woman. I had family put me in a terrible place financially. I thought with Freedom I could be in a better place for my Golden Years. Hasn't even been bronze. I was told that things would be rough for about six months, then things would be paid and all would be well. Two years ago I had to shame myself and have my grandson sign a car loan for me - still hasn't been fixed.. I also had to give an additional check for 1500 about a year ago. I cannot wait to get this out of my life. By the way, I got a notice from Bank of America that they were forgiving one of my debts. I'm waiting for Freedom to give me a refund???? YA THINK???? Excellent service. Knowledgeable customer service folks and they do exactly what they promised. Just follow the instructions and you will come out a winner. They are always available for questions and encouragement. There are many similar companies out there but FDR is by far the best.

I was very grateful for this company's help. With that being said when you get down to the last 12 months they drag out your payments to the creditors even if they have collected enough money to pay them off. I just don't understand that. Here is an example: they are holding over 5000 of MY money and I have talked with them but they won't pay off the settlements. My grad date now is like July but by March 17 I will stop automatic draft from my acct for 354 every 2 weeks because they have collected full payment including their fees and I need my money seeing I have never missed a payment and will have fulfilled all obligations. I can't wait to stop auto draft on March 17 whether they like it or not

Six debts pay off with Freedom's help. They are very friendly, listens to me and I can call them any time of the day on any day. They always email me and tells me how far I’m on my debts, I am very happy to end my debt early. Thank you.

From the beginning, the representative, Shawqee (sp?), lied to me that he would be my personal contact throughout the program. Found out later that that was a total lie. I believe they knew I would get sued by Citibank of which Citibank had sold by debt to a company that does just that. The fees are too high, I have been charged 21% of debt enrolled amounts. I knew this in the beginning but they collect this as soon as they can and will collect the fees even if a settlement could be in jeopardy. They have not earned the fees in total because they still have the obligation to make future payments from my account with them. Not sure how this is even legal.

This is a great company to work with. They get right on and do everything possible to get you out of debt in a reasonable amount of time. They are an honest company and only have your best interest at heart.

Very happy with their professionalism so far. I love how there is no judgment and everyone is so positive and upbeat on the phone. Even my silliest questions have been answered. I hope their service continues this way and I look forward to working with them and recommending them to others that need help as well!!

I started this process with a simple phone call. Was worried at first not being approved. The rep was very caring and found the best solution for my case. Not even a full year later. I have found peace with my collection calls and on the path to a better mindset. Definitely worth the price to do the program. Don’t let your bills get to you. Have the team help you.

They lie to you about the number of payments you will have to make… I was scheduled to make 48 payments, now that has been increased! They keep telling you, "no, no your payments will not increase," but in the end they do.

So far I have been very happy with the progress on settling what I owe. In three years I should be released of what I owe the credit card companies. Payments have been easier and hopefully I will start building up a better credit score.

So far so good with the program. I like the ease of the program and the dashboard. I hate that my credit score plummeted but that was a given. I feel like I could have worked with the companies to save my credit but the ease of one automatic payment and negotiation was important.

The program keeps you informed on all your matters. If anyone is busy on a day to day basis and cannot sign into your account, no worries. They send emails and text messages. I am glad I sign up with this program. So far it has been working for me.

Always something going off the rails. Settlement went from 7k 10k to 13k to 15k by the time it was done with no guidance on court dates. Felt alone and blindsided. And when regularly asking for updates and acceptance letters, something was always off kilter and creating a problem which in turn escalated the demands and price of settlement. Needed up paying just as much as I would have on my own.

Takes a minute to get started but once they start goes smoothly. I would recommend this if you want to get some debt resolved. You will be happy with the work they do. I love how they structure the whole thing.

I have had two items go to court and instead of handing them out contacting the creditors, Freedom asked me for more money. It’s always about more money and I have noticed the high balance in my account and yet it seems to not be paying things off or settling things quickly. Most of my premium are fees paid to Freedom. I honestly wish I had never signed up for this program. It’s a scam.

I was lied to. Wish I never signed up. They promised me an end date and extended it to 5.5 years instead of 4. Paid almost close to what i owed. The fees are outrageous and embarrassing how they took full advantage of me and my debt. They stole from my kid and myself with their settlement fees actually. I can’t. I wouldn’t recommend this program at all to anyone.

Happy to have Freedom Debt Relief to solve my debt. Been doing it on my own but wasn’t solving nothing because of my interest was too high and FDR was able to help me with that to have in control with my debt. I just want thanks FDR for time and help. Thank you Freedom Debt Relief!

I was very hesitant at first, but you definitely need to trust the process. It has been amazing watching my debt be negotiated down to such lower amounts. As long as you make your deposits and keep up with requests for info or to approve settlements you won’t have any issues. Each time I had a question or concern all I had to do was call. You get a human that knows what they’re talking about and are always so helpful. Hopefully I never have to do this again, but if I do I know I can trust FDR to get it right.

Updated on 01/23/2024: Called Freedom debt and they set us up with a plan and we are on the road to recovery. It was only a hand full of years compared if we just did it on our own it would have taken over 30 years to pay it all off. Freedom debt put us back into being able to live and not be loaded down with many bills every month. I recommend Freedom to anyone looking to get out of debt and be able to have peace of mind and live. I give Freedom ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

I like that most of the time when calling I get good help. And sometimes I get a consult that just wants to be snappy. I'm not good on computers. So I need help when I call in. I don't like having to hang up and call back.

Updated on 08/07/2024: Freedom Debt Relief reduced my debt by negotiating with my debt collectors, and upped my credit score by paying my debt with my own money. At first I didn’t really understand how that worked, but now that I’m passed that stage, I totally understand. It was way more simple than I expected. The process was scary at first, but your employees really eased my stress with information given. Nearly $18,000 was reduced from my $64,000 debt. Thank you so much. You have taken my stress off from my family.

While I think that the company as a whole has a good mission and is definitely helpful for people trying to rebuild there are many problems I've had since joining, all related to communication. Basically, there is never any response to emailed support requests at all. In my first experience where I wanted to make a simple change to how my deposits went in I sent multiple contact emails through their site, tried to call in 4 times and was on hold for over 10 minutes each time and never got an answer, their 'live chat' option also never gave me an agent to talk with. To get any kind of response I had to resort to going through Facebook messenger for their page there which should never be the only method of communication.

Updated on 03/22/2023: Little nervous but first settlement went great. Saved me 50% of the original amount owed. Easy to work with and so thankful for the help. We had been at the end of the rope until we found FDR and got started. Again thank you so much!

I am please so far with the results of the program after a rocky start. The initial contact person omitted a major debt that was supposed to be included. I had to take money from my retirement account to pay AMEX in full to prevent legal action!

One of the most unorganized companies I’ve ever worked with and one of the biggest scams I’ve dealt with and it’s ridiculous how only so much of the money is used and then 90% of money just sits in my account whenever all it seems like is my money was just being taken from me but needing me to keep sending more and more money.

Pretty much right from the beginning I was lied to. Then on Nov 3, I called in was to close out, was told, "No more fees, would be charged and no more withdrawals made from my bank account," both of those were a lie. I was told it would take up the 30 days to close out, that was a lie, it took over 2 months. I was told numerous times "you'll have an answer tomorrow", I'd call tomorrow and be told "Oh no you'll have an answer in a couple days". The amount of time wasted and stress caused by this joke of a company is absolutely mind-numbing to me. I absolutely should have read and listened to the reviews online. Never again will I even think of using this company.

I am very thankful for Freedom team and everyone to help me on the bad time to work out to building my credit back up. I recommend to everyone please don't be scared, try it. The team will help all the answer all the questions. Pick your phone and call.

Since I been on the program my score been going up and my credit paid, all the creditors are being meet by them. I been in peace without them calling me. My credit is improving higher and less money to pay.

Am so happy I found this program. Slowly but surely I have settled about 60% of my debt. I know that soon I will be debt free with this program. I thank all the employees for always being helpful and mindful.

They have talked to the creditors and they discounted my bills and on the way to a better life without debt. They reduced my payment to next to nothing and now all I have to pay the balances off and then can apply for credit again and then live what you make and buy one thing at a time.

I pay $650 every month. Is it worth? I have hard time to pay bills. I am with Freedom Debt Relief almost 2 years. I was told that I will pay off next two years. No way. It’s Not worth. I feel like nightmares!! Not really help.

Comforting to know they always are up to date with my information. Customer service is incredible. They take time to answer my questions making sure I understand the plan of action. If I need anything further they lead me to direct resources.

When logged into my dashboard I can't determine my program end date. Also, one of my settlements has been completed (12 out of 12 payments) but the dashboard shows it as still open. Also, as settlements are satisfied and my monthly payment remains the same I have more money to pay down open settlements which would speed up my program completion date. Something I would expect your customer service people could very easily calculate, yet when I call to speak live, they are invariably unable to accommodate me. Can ANYONE help me!
