So far they have helped me get ahead in my debt very much. And sometimes when I have more bills than money they let me lower my monthly payments to them. Without their help, I don’t know where I would be right now. Not good I know that.

When I signed up for FDR they said 4 years. I have never missed a payment,did everything they said. BUT... when it was almost 4 yes time I noticed on my account it said I had a year extra. I called them and they said we'll it could be longer. My next time I looked said a year and half more. Should of ended in 10-2021 but now says 1/23/2023. I have so much money in my account with them that that could pay everything off today 3/2022 and pocket almost $1,800. I would never recommend them to anyone. When you call they won't give you a supervisor and tell you this is how the program works. Apparently there is extra small print that I can't find.

I called FDR and paid off balance they said I owed on February 4, 2022. Now, here it is the middle of March and I’m still receiving correspondence about money owed. I think 6 weeks is plenty of time to take care of this. Plus! You are still debiting my account for the monthly charges for FDR. I don’t owe you any more money, why would you take out the monthly charge?

I have been with the FDR program for over 3 years. I am delighted to say I have just graduated and debt free!! The key is to follow the rules. I did follow them and it was smooth sailing, I never missed a payment for one thing and read all information and just did as I was asked to do. Every couple of months FDR settled account after account and now 10 accounts later all my balances are at zero! I can’t say enough about the team at FDR!! Freedom wasted no time with getting me approved and jumping into the work to start settling accounts. By my first payment they settled 1 account. With a previous experience from another company who never settled after 7 payments this blow me away how fast the ball started moving. Freedom responded to questions even after getting me in a contract. The online dashboard is amazing. Started with debt of $36,000, ended up paying much more than that! I didn’t receive legal support on time so I’ve been served court papers!! You saved me $30 on my last settlement, you CHARGE ME MORE THAN $1,400 as SETTLEMENT FEE!!!! Unbelievable!

Your credit score takes a severe nosedive in the beginning. It does recover slowly, but does not return to the level it was prior to the start of the program. Consider very carefully. There might be better options available now. I do not endorse or condemn this program.

We even had one creditor sue us and we had signed up for the legal services, thank goodness. They represented us in Court successfully. We are so happy we signed up for that service too.

Good service. Understandable and fast response. Will work with you when no one else will. Stuck with forty thousand dollars of debt. Now I’m down two fifteen thousand dollars. They will negotiate half of what you owe to debt collectors which is amazing. As I tried to do it my self pay what I owe. And they all said no pay the interest to.

Initial agent talked very fast and was very pushy in signing me up. I was motivated to start paying down my debt however so I went with it. Was supposed to setup 2 payments to come out of my account each month with the first starting on the 25th of March. He however had the first payment come out for the full amount on the 25th of February. Which caused a negative balance on my account and an over draft fee. They are not willing to reimburse me for the fee, stating any fees due to insufficient funds is not their responsibility, even though they admitted to the mistake of setting up the withdrawal for the wrong date. Due to this, I am unsure at this time if I will continue to use them because I am wary of more mistakes like this that could cost me money.

Very professional and most helpful in their guidance while moving through the initial process. Very fast in bringing the program to fruition. From the initial contact with William **, the process was smooth and easy. The ease of understanding and being able to interact with the paperwork and doing most everything electronically made a world of difference.

I didn’t realize the toll of drowning in debt. The collection calls, not seeing any way out. Though not fast, feeling like feet are dragged a bit to optimize FDR’s fees, it still feels good to be getting it behind me.

I have been happy with FDR over the past year. I think each transaction fee could be a little less, but I realize they have to make money too. They have been helpful when I needed to adjust a withdrawal date.

As far as the progress with Freedom Debt in paying off my bills, they have been extremely helpful, not fast, but helpful, except for the lack of cooperation in changing due dates for paying my bills, they reluctantly cooperated with me in changing it, but let me emphasize the word, reluctantly. But in the end we are getting closer and almost there, a little more help in the personal relations would have helped but overall we did well.

Freedom debt relief helped me at a time when I had no idea what to do. I was in a tailspin. My husband had passed away and I became very irresponsible with my finances. He took care of our finances. Fees are too high making the time to complete too long. Instead of collecting fees at the end to make sure my accounts didn’t hit collections the program is set up poorly in my opinion. Little things that could have been paid were not.

FDR has been a blessing to us. We had a lot of debt- much of it old, and about halfway through the program now. We’ve paid off some huge debts with their assistance, and continue to move forward to the time when everything is paid off. Well worth it!

Net Credit stated I missed a payment therefore I owed full amount. FDR told me it was my responsibility to resolve the issue not FDR. I still don’t know if the issue is resolved. I contacted bank. They said I needed to handle the problem with information they provided me when I asked them not to use me as the middle man

FDR took away the burden of heavy debt that I was carrying. They have negotiated with my creditors and I just pay a flat monthly amount without the added interest and penalties I had been accruing. Thank you to the counselors and attorneys that are at my disposal.

I ended up paying several thousand dollars over the amount we agreed on. Half way through the program I sold my house and put a large deposit into my Freedom Debt Relief account. I paid off all my accounts and asked freedom debt relief close my account and refund the remaining balance in my account which was 5,700. Instead they made a double payment to 3 different accounts, creating 5,400 in overpayment. They then told me they could not recover the funds, that I had to try and call each creditor myself to recover their overpayment. I have not had any success in this. The company does not take responsibility for their mistakes and expects the customer to fix their mistakes.

When I called Freedom Debt Relief, they were really nice and took me through the steps. They told me one thing after another, and what was the process. So far, they have exceptional service. They have been very informative, educated in regards to my account, my debts, and what I have enrolled. So they have been very good customer service to us. Accessing the client portal has been very easy. I see every single dedicated account. It tells me how much I've been paying into, how many payments I have left, and how much the debt reduction has been. It's good enough information and what I need on my end.

No worries. The experience with Freedom Debt Relief is good for my busy life. Don’t have to worry about anything. Automatic payments and settlements they perform with my debt companies are great and have me peace of mind and rest assured it will get taken care of.

I would have liked to see more updates on what was going on with my accounts. Maybe more in detail and the progress. Not just one line that states "Negotiations" or "Pending". The number of times the company has meet with the vendors and what was discussed. Monthly updates would certainly be a plus.

They gave me hope again to get out of the debt I was in. Negotiated with creditors and left me out of it. Made a tremendous difference in my overall situation! Strongly recommend this program to anyone concerned about their financial situation and not sure what to do about it!

I have given explicit instructions REPEATEDLY to no avail. They continue to try and dig up ancient debt that I specifically chose not to enroll, and even though I have demanded they stop, at least 20 times, it continues. The alerts I turn off, still get them. Every time I deal with customer service it's basically, "Sorry about your luck." They don't care and won't do anything to rectify the situation. Terrible service. But now for the worst part... When I enrolled, they gave a specific amount and estimate it's already gone past that, and yet they want to continue. You would be far better served to just do this on your own without the fees. I have informed them that on 11/22 this ends whether my debt is settled or not. I would not recommend to anyone and will NEVER use this service again.

Would not recommend to anyone, EVER Did not save any money actually wound up paying more. Continued to take money even after they had enough to cover my bills and fees. Kept taking money even after ALL my debts were settled. Seem to be avoiding graduating me from the program so they can continue taking money. If they take any more money I'm probably going to sue them. They gave me a pay off twice... I paid it and then was told that essentially that's not a thing so I sent them all that money just to continue getting jerked around.

FDR Was Awesome they took care of all my Credit Card debt. In A very timely matter. FDR Is GREAT. I Can't tell you how nice the people you talk to you and give you information on your situation. And you can call them any time if you have a question about your account.

When I talked to Freedom Debt Relief, I felt more comfortable than other companies I talked to. They make you feel like they're going to help you out better than most places would. They explained everything, very quick and easy. I was on the phone an hour just going over everything, and they made sure all my debt was in there and asked me if I had anything else that didn't show up. I told them, no. They told me the program would be two years. They said, "Between trying to get them to settle and then finally getting to settle and build up your money, this is how long it'll take." The customer service is great.

This debt reduction service has been so easy to use. Communication is excellent. Updates come in monthly. The counselor we worked with was so courteous and really helped us understand the program. There are many stages that they go through to negotiate with the creditors and they inform you about what stage they are on.

Any question I had, the reps came up with the answer. The first couple of questions I asked were "How long it's gonna take?" and "What's the most they can do for me?" In the beginning, Freedom Debt Relief told me it would take around four years given my issues, but they need the whole payment. So it's taking little over than four.

This program is one of the only reasons we were able to get out debt. They negotiated with all of our creditors effectively. They are always available and helpful. They settled our debts for much less. Their website is very easy to use and has all the information you might need available 24/7.

My husband was the primary "bill payer" in our home. I was retired, & receiving my Social Security. When he died. All of my accounts were settled near half of my balance of each card. Kudos to your efforts. However the last account lingered on and on for several months even after I submitted an offer for a third of the balance. After a couple phone calls, finally got transferred to the right person and he got it finalized. So I'm officially credit card debt free and I couldn't have done it alone. We are pleased at the progress of eliminating the $70K in debt we had. It has taken a couple of years (since 8/2018 to 1/2024), but we are working the program and it has helped. We are down to the last 2 debts and will be paid off by 1/2024. We've had no problems and our scores are going back up.

They lie to you in the beginning about lots of fees. I paid the whole amount. I ended up paying the whole debt and then fees to them as well. When you call customer service they just ignore you. Get them to tell you everything about fees.

The success of a company is in its customer support. They have a great team to help pay the debt faster and without garnish and court fees. I have more than two years in the program and my credit score has improved for paying my debts.

They already charge a lot of fees. Which is fine. They are doing a service. But I’m also being charged additional “2 day check fees” when it isn’t necessary. I have the settlement agreements for the 3 accounts and none of them say anything about that.. $10 a month for 3 accounts. They blame the bank.. It’s ridiculous. I will be charged minimum $650 and up to $2500 in fees for 2 day checks. When in my contract it states overnight checks are $0, standard is $3. I tried to have them stop this and they refuse or say it’s out of their hands. I asked for overnight which makes more sense and they say they can’t. It’s ** really. I’m not saying I don’t recommend. However I strongly suggest you pay attention. One of the contracts even states they can pay it online. They refuse. Why?

Freedom Debt Relief works very hard to help me dig out of the debt hole I was buried in due to family troubles. They never once made me feel bad about the situation I was in. They were able to settle my total unsecured debt amount for about half of what was owed.

I would definitely recommend Freedom Debt to help consolidate loans that have become too much to pay. I have been with them for 5 years and have made every single payment asked except 1 when my husband lost his job. I called and explained the situation to them and instead of making the agreed upon payment to the creditor and keeping the negotiated settlement alive, they instead took their fee which then did not leave enough for the scheduled payment to the creditor. That negotiated settlement fell through with only 2 payments to go. Later when it was re-negotiated, the payoff was then substantially more seeing as how they had already received more than 1/2 of the previously negotiated amount. Nothing further happened until January of this year.

Your fees are way too high. You even charged me twice for 2 accounts. When I was unable to make payments during early pandemic. 600.00 for a 1800.00 debt you charged me for the 2nd time. I will not be recommending anyone use your service.

I was lead to believe that the debt would be settled in 3 years and that I would save 30-50%. However, it's been 3 years, we still haven't settled all the debt and the true savings is probably 10% because they consider it a50% savings based on all the added fees from non payment not from the original debt. I ruined my credit, have collections still on there and it will be at least 2 more years before it is resolved. Meaning it took 5 years which means I spent over 14,000 on approx 13000 in original debt enrolled. Don't see how that is a savings and where it benefited me at all. I would never use this type of service ever again and I definitely would not recommend anyone I know use it.

They give support and tools to help you. Ways to stop using credit cards. To build a spending budget. There is one on one training with how to use their app. Where to go if you have questions. And a personal guide like Eric. He is always there to help me.

Slow to resolve debts and not getting very good settlement amounts for as long as this is going on. Seems Freedom Debt Relief is satisfied with collecting the monthly service charge with the settlement payments. When a Finance co hasn't been paid in over 1 year, they would probably go for 40-50 cents on the dollar but freedom is settling at 60-70 cents on the dollar.

I think you all should find a way to report your client's progress to the credit bureau to help us build our credit back. I was enrolled for years and all my accounts you settled are still showing up as unpaid.

They’ve always been pretty flexible. The program seems like it takes forever, but I just have to try to put more money in there. It's working, but it's just a long process. The only thing that concerns me is that even though I settle accounts, my credit still stays the same and I don't get it. They've never told me, “Call this person and he'll answer those questions.” They just say, “No, we're unable to give that kind of information like that.” They don't send me to anybody. I have to do the research.
