Excellent, friendly service and when you don't know something you can ask the same question repeatedly and they'll keep answering it to understand it. The dashboard option is incredible. You can get a hold of anybody you need to get a hold of about any subject you need questions.

Not honest! Never seemed to have an answer especially after I paid off the bal on my accounts myself. It took 5 mos. to declare my graduation. Your phone consultants are very limited in their training. Sorry but this would not be a company I would recommend.

We’re chipping away at my debt, we’ve resolved almost half so far and it’s been just about a year now. I know I have a couple of major ones that we will be addressing, and it may take another year or two more, but I’m okay with that. I know if I was going the way I was, making minimum payments, I’d never get out of debt. I’m very happy with my decision. I have money to spend on my necessities now, instead of using that money to pay credit cards, and having to use those same cards to then buy necessities, just resulting in a cycle. Excited to be done with all this, but it has been a good experience so far.

Freedom Debt Relief was good. It helped me a lot. I'm out of debt, so I got extra money now. The guy I worked with, Phil, was very good helping me out at first then I went on FDR's website to track my progress. When I had questions, I had to talk to a supervisor and it wasn't hard. I kept calling until I got one. A lot of the people there have to be more knowledgeable with customer service.

Updated on 11/04/2023: I started the program in 2022 and it was the best thing I’ve done. I got myself into a bind during Covid and just couldn’t seem to get ahead no matter how hard I tried or how much overtime I worked. It just never seemed to enough. Debt collectors were calling multiple times every single day. I heard the commercial on the radio and pulled into a parking lot and signed up that Saturday. Yes, my credit took a hit in the beginning, but my advisor said it would. I’ve gotten 3 bills paid in less than 2 years and I don’t think I could have done it on my own. I didn’t want to file bankruptcy and this allowed me to not do that option. It’s a thrill when I get a settlement offer because the plan works and I know I’m one step closer to being debt free.
Original Review: From day one I felt at ease with my choice. I had gotten in over my head with loans during the pandemic and even though I tried everything to pay them, I couldn’t get ahead. I contacted Freedom Debt on a Saturday and had help the same day. I was getting nervous because it seemed like it takes forever to get the first settlement. But I’ve got the ball rolling and I’m seeing improvement.

Relief. I have just started the process with FDR. In fact this is the first time I have ever used a credit repair company. FDR and I have just started the process and Now the hard part is beginning. Getting my Debt Reduced. FDR has described the process and all I have to do is put up with ANNOYING calls from my creditors. FDR is showing me the way to Debt Relief. So far so good. I was with Freedom Debt Relief before but I was in the process of moving and really needed money for the move so I closed my account, that was a dumb thing to do. I was doing so good I had reached the point where I was eligible to get a loan to pay off all my debt and the one thing I've wanted to do the most is fix my credit, so because of my decision I had to start all over again but that was totally my fault not theirs, they have been great

Freedom Debt has done what that said. First credit card settlement was supposed to happen in October 2022, but it happened in August 2022! They started in May of 2022! The dashboard is your key to keep up with everything! Love this!

The program was explained. However several times I have had other questions. I called Customer Service and they were able to ease my mind. I have had a few calls from creditors and have used the guidelines to handle this inquiries.

Updated on 11/19/2022: Hope all is settled by the end of year. They have negotiated settlements faster and easier than I could ever imagine. I have stopped getting all those calls telling me I must pay the full amount now or else they would take legal action. Freedom has stopped all those nasty calls.
Original Review: I am getting letters turning me over to a collection agency. I have told them I have turned all my debts over to Freedom Debt Relief. I have stopped answering all the phone calls but I still get blasted every day.

I became very deep in debt. Many phone calls from creditors. Saw a Freedom Debt Relief Ad on TV. I decided to call and see if they could help me. After discussing my problems, we came up with a solution. Came up with a payment plan that I could afford plus a time frame it would take. Phone call stopped and away we went on reducing my debt. Through this process I stopped using all credit cards and only used money on hand. What a shock it was at first but sort of got used to it. Paid my monthly payment and did not miss one payment or was late over the period of the contract. Freedom negotiated with each creditor and when a settlement was agreed including me we would check each creditor off.
Well, just finished my final settlement and now have graduated. No more debt and sort of nice to see my monthly payment back in my pocket. Great people to work with and would recommend Freedom Debt Relief to anyone who needs help. Remember, it’s not a walk in the park but well worth it in the end. Thank You Again Freedom Debt Relief. My debt was significantly dropped and Freedom has made it soo much easier to get my financials back on track. I'll be finished in 2024 with over $12,000 in debt. It's been two years. My debt was settled at either 40% to 50%!! LIFE SAVER!

I have mixed feelings about the program. I was promised certain percentage savings on my total enrolled debt based on the amount of enrolled debt. That is not how the alleged savings are calculated. After months of non payment under the instructions of FDR, many fees and lots of interest are added. When a settlement is made, the savings are calculated based on the new inflated amount, not the original enrolled debt. This is deceptive as the true savings is a much smaller percentage.
I also have received calls based on info from my credit report about enrolling additional debt. Sometimes the “new” debt is an old creditor that the account was turned over to. If you add it your program payment increases but they will not offset/reduce the program payment by removing the old debt. The biggest benefit is not having to deal with creditors directly. If one has time and patience, most debts can be settled on your own as evidenced by the many settlement letter offers I have received directly from creditors.

Keep in mind that our settlement fees are bigger savings than having to pay your creditors the full 100% of the debt owed + interest % + any additional fees they charge. Yes, your creditor may have presented a lower settlement amount, but that is just to pull you back in so they could hit you with having to pay the full balance. The program is providing the support described prior to my agreement to enroll. Three out of Four of my debts are being resolved with the last one pending. I wouldn't have been able to work with creditors to achieve an understanding or reduce the amount owed.

I am ok with the outcome with Freedom Debt Relief. I only wish that I could have finished paying through Freedom, and not having to take a loan out. One of my credit cards/ loans would not settle and wanted all the money upfront. I was a unable to make a deposit for $4000 so I had to take out the loan to avoid going to court for what was due. I wish I had known this could happen but am hoping it all works out!!

Never imagined needing to enroll myself into a debt relief program, however over the last couple of years, the debt became unmanageable and a huge stressor in my life. Right from the beginning FDR team was extremely helpful, and encouraging that I was doing the right thing. The program became manageable and I was even able to make a couple large one-time deposits when I had the extra money, to help move the program along faster. Thank you for all the support FDR!

Still getting calls from creditors wanted me to pay. I thought you were going to contact them and start taking care of that. I thought you were supposed to get a hold of the creditors and let them know that y'all are taking care of the accounts.

Settlements take longer than promised. I was told this would take less time and the only answers I get is pay more money into the plan. If I had more money I wouldn’t need to do this. That is my only complaint.

This has been a nerve-racking experience because I have had to switch checking accounts and reroute everything I've had to my new account. To this day, I have had past pending, normal, payments that were going to former primary checking account. Phew...but, things are on a roll. I have been in the program since April and debt is being resolved, one creditor at a time. I have 61k enrolled debt and they have been negotiating very hard for me. I'm very grateful.

Ok they did help but you have to watch out. It was settled but not as much as promised. Also the lower cards with lower interest rates settled 1st but the higher card with the extreme rate settled last. Well no good because the balance you owe after interest accumulated by not paying puts you deeper in debt. This program earns a percentage off the total debt so the higher debt you owe the more they make.. so I had to get after them to settle the highest interest rate card 1st. Ok I had saved and paid the other 2 cards balance in full but they dragged it out into payments aka keeping my credit score low. It got rock bottom because this program wants you to default on payments. Their excuse is to negotiate better. (NO. IT'S MORE OWED SO THEY GET MORE.) So I advise watch out.
The other thing was the payment figure I was to make was high. I'm on a retired income now. Some months my bills changed like doctors I saw then got billed etc. So since they didn't leave me extra for such I didn't buy food just so the doctor bills and other odd bills that popped in so Rayman noodles or nothing some weeks grrr. I had to go back to work to just survive. But now that this mess is over the scam etc I'm Done...

My experience with Freedom Debt Relief has been easy, manageable and they know how to eliminate these stressful debt situations. Freedom Debt Relief has settled all 12 of my credit cards in a timely manner. When I did encounter an issue with one of my creditors, Freedom Debt Relief was there every step of the way leading me to a successful ending to my problem. The client dashboard is easy to navigate and keeps track of all of your accounts and also lets you know when your possible settlement is estimated to take place. The website has videos with tips to help you along your journey to become Debt free.
Every person I've been in contact with has been friendly and reassuring whenever I had an issue. Mr. ** was very polite and not over pushy. He understands the art of a sale and was very helpful in allowing me time to think about if this was the way I wanted to go. I will say that if this was handled in another way, it probably would have deterred me from moving forward. To Mr. **'s upper management: I am an IT Director and Manager. This one is a keeper, in fact give this man a raise. I am not an easy person to convince of something like this. Changes to payment amounts are not easy to complete and require calling in every month to ensure the lowering of each month's amount rather than an online form or ability to call in and request a change. Otherwise settlements and service is good.

I was paying 413 per month. You added it to 710 without my approval. I contacted you by email. Next month you took 710 dollars. I called and ask why you said I should have called by phone. There are other issues but I went over letters.

I was happy with the first settlement but I thought the second Settlement could have been better. However, I realize that what I paid on the second account was not that much so the creditor may not have been willing to reduce the amount owed as much. That agreement has me paying $200 amount for another 12 months plus money that was directed to Green Sky. I can understand the issue but I am a bit disappointed at the length of time remaining to pay. Content with service overall. Thank you FDR.

They've done everything they've promised and they've been helpful. It's been a joy to work with them. There have been a few times where I didn't have the funds available and I had to have the payment delayed a week or so to make sure I had the money in the account. They worked with me on that.

I think the important part of this program is that Freedom Financial keeps me involved by being involved. Having active involvement with managing my program is absolutely important. How to handle creditors is very important, and Freedom Financial provide very good advice. Even though Freedom Financial is administering the program, I like the fact they have the customer do the work to stay on top of the debt resolution, in order to keep the program current so I may resolve this in a timely fashion.

I would highly recommend the FDR program if you are committed to reducing or eliminating debt. It took some time but it all worked out well and I never had any issues in getting my questions answered. I stayed committed to my bi weekly payments and slowly my debt that I had signed up for was eliminated. It was a good lesson in teaching me about debt and how to manage it in the future.

I had asked about the pending lawsuit from American Express a number of times. Your representative assured me that they had been in contact with the company. AE denied any contract. Now there is a settlement for the original debt, using monthly payments from my account. There is over $5000 in the account. I asked about paying some of the debt with this money. I did not receive a reply. Now the lawyers are hounding me about signing a document. Is this part of the procedure? I don't know why you have been so inaccessible.

The only problem I had was very slow communication or no communication. When using website., other than that very easy to communicate on phone. Took care of any problems quickly. When I got sick and couldn't work till my disability kicked in they were very patient, when I was able to to making deposits to my account. This easy to start up again. I scored a 4 not 5 because nothing is perfect. Freedom Debt. Anyone should use them, I would in a heartbeat. Thank you.

Great company, I had to remove an account and they made it very easy, also made me feel better about my situation, I feel really bad about having to do this but the economy is so bad and things are so expensive. Good experience talking to people who took me step by step in getting my credit fixed. Was only one issue where I had to inform them of being charged twice by original provider and then by a collection agency charges. That got corrected and has been smooth ever since.

I would have provided the company with an excellent rating if not for two reasons. First, the company appears not to be connected. For example, I still get invitations for enrollment request and answer questions on what to do about collection agencies.

Nothing has happened, yet for me. I have made 2 payments so far. I need more payments made to get things rolling. I do have 2 cards that are a 0% interest rate. I don't know how that is going to work. You can't get any better than 0%.

When called them for the first time, the gentleman on the other end was nice from the get go. Since that first call I was hooked. Not only are the employees great, their instructions by posts are clearly understood. They check in regularly and notify me by e-mail when a settlement has been reached. I have written at least two emails concerning my monthly payment and that we are struggling to make it each month. I have heard nothing back. Well what I have to say about Freedom Debt Relief is that I'm very happy that I decided to go with this company. They have been a godsend to me. They're very easy to work with very fair and they resolved all my debt and no time at all so happy that I made the right choice by going with Freedom Debt Relief so if you're in debt and you can't find a way out I suggest you give them a try. I like the way they answer all my questions and give me a step by step on what will happen. It makes me feel safe. I also like how we schedule meetings each few weeks to discuss the progress. I wish I did this sooner because I have been struggling for a while.

It has been good so far. Not much has happened yet but talking with customer service and they have been great. Once my debt is working out then I feel like would be the time to give a more accurate rating.

I just got started with the process. So far so good. The staff are friendly, very helpful, knowledgeable. I look forward to getting started with settling my debts. I am feeling stressed, but I have been reassured. That everything will be ok. Just use to not paying on my credit cards. Very uncomfortable feeling when been them on time for so long. Just got in over my head due to poor money management.

Thanks to the folks at FDR I did not fall prey to creditors' attempts to keep me paying high interest rates while keeping my credit scores so low I would never be able to get better credit offers on cars, credit cards and houses. It’s definitely my time for a reset so I can retire in a decade or so with my dream property..

Several years ago, I was up to my neck in debt, and had no answers. I couldn't believe that things had gotten so bad that I was actually considering bankruptcy. I began to search the internet and found FDR and began to look at the reviews. My credit score was so bad, that my finance rate for purchasing a car was affected, my credit cards were maxed out, and it was impossible to get a loan. So after looking at Consumer Reports, and doing a deep dive into the reviews, I decided to try FDR. Truthfully, I had nothing to lose because the creditors were sending threatening letters, email and their attorneys were calling and threatening lawsuits.
This was one of the best decisions in my life! Today, I only owe on my student loan, and my credit score has gone up over 200 points. My borrowing power has increased tenfold, and I saved thousands with their negotiating and dedicated account strategy. I actually asked a customer service representative about part time employment because I want to help others the way the FDR assisted me.
I was nervous in the early going, and wondered if their strategies would work, and every time I spoke with a customer service representative, they calmed my nerves and assured me that I would be pleased with the final result. We were sinking in debt because of covid, my wife lost her job. I had several job changes that put us behind. We felt there was no way to catch up with all the fees that kept accumulating. FDR saved us, cut our balances down and put us on a path to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

So far everything is going great! I am ever so happy FDR gave me a chance, while everyone else was like no way! Others I contacted said, "We can't help you, you have too much debt to your income!" That's what I am trying to fix! Anyway FDR listened and helped me out, what a weight lifted off my shoulders! One monthly payment, and they do the rest! Everyone was very nice, kind and considerate. Overall my FDR experience has been positive. The only trying situation was with the federal credit union wherein they placed a lien on my house preventing me from refinancing it for a lower rate. The customer service personnel were very supportive and positive.

The program sounds good so far, and hopefully it will be. Wish that going through the program you had a choice of making 1st payment to a 1 or 2 month delay to help some people out of a harder spot and to give a cushion.
