Sometimes even Freedom Debt Relief is working on clients' behalf, they neglect the fact of the financial struggles the clients may be going through. Adjusting the clients' needs should be priority instead of the financial gain of the institution. What is said is sometimes FDR puts pressure.

You have to pay monthly fees and then another 20% settlement fee on top of the other fees. I was told for 2 months a debt was being worked on by the negotiations team and that debt never got settled and the interest fees just kept adding up.

We do charge a fee percentage for each enrolled debt and we do not collect a fee until after the settlement agreement is authorized by the client. I just started working with FDR. I had a phone call which was very helpful and they follow through with emails and texts to make sure you are up to date with everything. To be honest, I’m a little stressed having to talk to the debt collectors but, I know in time this is what I needed to do.

I work for a credit card company. Customers who call me to say they have too much debt and can not keep up anymore. I always give them your name and number. I would tell them how you helped me. I have passed your number to at least 20 customers. I appreciate everything you have done for me.

I was reluctant to buy in. Didn't have a lot of faith, but had to do something about my debt. Five years later, it worked out. It doesn't solve everything, but it really feels good to be done and moving on to my next phase.

Great Service. Gave me some additional knowledge of an old account I have that was given a judgement against me. The CSR helped me understand and handle what I need to do with the current creditor on that account. I have negotiated since this call and very satisfied.

I have to honestly say, what a relief in just less than 30 days I have not been stressed on how I’m going to pay the next 3 credit card bills and have spending money to get to and from work till the next pay period. I have just one bill to pay and that’s FREEDOM DEBT.

Elizabeth ** is amazing at her job. She answers all the questions. She is very knowledgeable and providing the best information on how to help with the death. I am very happy to be working with her. When we decided to look into debt solutions, we were very skeptical about the previous but FDR made it so easy for us. We had a few accounts that went to the card's attorney but FDR helped us out on the way and was able to find a solution. After the cards were paid off, the collection was also taken off our credit reports. I would definitely recommend FDR.

I was very surprised FDR was able to create a settlement with my Exxon gas card account so quickly and for 50% of the debt. Way to go team! I am confident that FDR will settle my Jovia loan with similar success. It's been less than a month since I paid my first draft so once again thanks Freedom Debt Relief.

Does a great job, friendly expert service, short hold time, gets on task quick.. Reduced my terrible debt down rapidly. I called FDR and let them know that I had received a “SUMMONS”. I was told to send the information to be included. I thought the issue would be handled with FDR. I then received information that I would have to do this myself. If that information was known by FDR why would I be asked to send the information. I had to pay someone to go and scan all paperwork which was an additional charge. Now I have to have someone take me to process these documents with the court which I hope is not too late to stop this garnishment. I’m not pleased with the delay on this matter because the company already knew it would not be handled which could have been told to me when I initially called FDR about this matter.

The best thing I did was sign up with Freedom Debt Relief. The money automatically deducted from my bank account. I considered it to be a savings I could not touch. I am so happy I did this, and I have chosen not to allow myself to get back into debt. Thank you, Freedom Debt Relief.

This program has really helped me manage debt and has changed the way I think about how and when I spend money. The program is well explained and managed. All I have to do is make sure to make my monthly payment and the folks at FDR do the rest. There is plenty of support and information on the website and there is always a friendly person on the phone to help. I am less than a year away from graduation from the program now and can look forward to saving for retirement!

Not sure this is right for me...I don't get old statements for old accounts and I tell you I don't have it and you keep asking for the old ones...and I hate putting my credit cards that were paid into past due...not happy.

They are extremely helpful, without them I would still be paying minimums getting nowhere. Being hit over and over with interest charges and never getting the balance down. But with Freedom Debt Relief they have already settled an account for half of what was the balance. So grateful to be able to actually be able pay the debts back.

I'll be glad I'll be out of paying monthly bills, soon. I was barely make ends meet with the amount of income I was receiving, and because of it I do not have a vehicle or Insurance to pay for. I highly recommend FDR. Your.

I have just completed my program and I am delighted to report that I am debt free. I can't believe how smoothly everything went. All promises made were kept exactly as outlined. I finished the program before it was forecasted. The support staff is excellent at handling all questions. I had six creditors and I believe I only had two interactions with them. Freedom Debt Relief handles all negotiations and resolutions. There is not one suggestion I can make to improve the program as they are the experts. I am a totally satisfied user. I wish other companies were as easy to work with.

I am so happy I found FDR. I had so much debt I knew that I needed help to get out of it. All the staff at FDR were extremely helpful and totally on my side to get rid of my debt. Once I got my first settlement, I was surprised at how quickly my other debts got settled as well and it seemed to me they were settled ahead of schedule. These folks know what they're doing so if you need help getting out of debt, these people are the ones who can help you.

Started out with a debt relief program. The negotiations started within a 2 month span. They negotiated fairly. Yes there's a fee per settlement, a monthly dedicated deposit to pay the settlements, but the piece of mind of getting them resolved was well worth it. I then qualified for the consolidated plus loan and all debts were settled. Now I just continue to pay the affordable loan amount monthly to pay it off, no more collection calls and threats of legal actions. Thank you FDR and consolidated plus. I feel FDR could be more transparent in the fees and cost relating to debt resolution process. Most of what you SAVE during settlement is the additional fees and interest from not paying monthly payments to creditors, the fee FDR charges for settling with creditor and FDRs monthly fees. Still saving in the grand scheme of things. Also did not explain about a loan company coming in as last couple accounts are settling, so they give you a loan at simple interest to cover all the payments/settlements that are outstanding from all settled debt so you only have 1 creditor to pay and all other arrangements are settled in full at that point. Still appear to be saving in the long run but then they also get all the interest from the loan (I'm pretty sure they own the loan company also).

It took a little while but I've got 3 accounts down and 8 left to go. Everything was thoroughly explained to me prior to starting the program. At any time I can either increase the amount of money monthly or make a one time additional payment.

I trusted this company with all of my accounts, And they failed one of my accounts. They tell you to stop paying your Credit cards and to allow the interest to go up. This was the worst advice ever given. They failed to take care of one of my credit cards that had a balance of $4000. This credit card took me to court, and Freedom Debt didn't show up on the court date after I sent all the paperwork they needed. Now I’m paying $7100. My credit score is affected by this. I do not recommend this company. The worst decision I’ve ever made is trusting them. THEIR FEES ARE WAY TOO HIGH! You’re better off seeking a financial advisor who can help with your debt.

Freedom Debt Relief is doing exactly what they promised me they would do, before I joined their program. Out of work for 5-6 months due to needing emergency surgery, I knew realistically I wouldn’t be able to catch up with my payments to my creditors. Never before had I ever been late with a payment for these creditors. My credit rating plummeted. Freedom Debt Relief is helping me get my credit rating back up and All I have to do is keep making my deposits to FDR. Whenever I have questions they are prompt to return my call, chat or email. Should have worked on the larger amounts 1st instead let them go to litigation and the lawyers did nothing but ask for over half or more to payoff. The reason I was working my credit was because I didn't have the large payoff. Probably could have worked with CC company to get lowered on my own.

Not trying to bash the company but they make it sound so good and it's a lot they don't tell you. If I could go back and get out of this I would. I have been paying since April and nothing has been negotiated and my credit score keep going down. Maybe eventually I will see some results.

They have done a good job. However, I feel it has taken longer than they had projected. They do have a partner company, that wants you to take out a loan about halfway through to pay Freedom the rest of the way off. However, that would have raised our monthly payments considerably.

I am confused. When I reported my Target account had gone to a attorney the person on the phone told me it would be the next one they worked on yet I got sent a message that when I finish the 2 I am working on they were going to do 2 other ones and no mention of the target account and why that one is not next. So a little frustrating.

I am not satisfied because it is taking a long time to negotiate with my creditors and they call me every day and said they do not work with a debt relief company and won't listen when I tell them that I am working with a debt relief company and it is very frustrating.

They seem to be getting debts settled but not the main ones that are constantly calling that need to be settled. I have companies threatening me with lawsuits because of how far behind I am. They have not reached out to the main companies yet.

So far, FDR has settled most of my debts. My main complaint is that 2 of my creditors sued me. The 1st one agreed to a payment plan. The 2nd one went to court, and my attorney has kept me totally in the dark, never returning calls or emails. The last I spoke with him, he said there was a settlement, and he would get back to me with details. Now I get a letter saying that FDR couldn’t reach a settlement, and I will need to pay the full amount through monthly payments. I am left wondering exactly what it is that I have been paying for, regarding the “legal assistance”? In the meantime I accumulated plenty of funds to be able to pay off the last 2 creditors. I just received notices from FDR that they had settled those 2 with monthly payments over the next year. Why wouldn’t they just pay the settlement amount off?

It took a long time, but I finally finish my program. I didn't always like it and definitely kicked myself every month for running up so much debt, but I stuck with it and now all my accounts are settled and my credit score is slowly improving. It is such a relief! Any time I had a problem, I could get them solved easily with a phone call. I ALWAYS reached people who were helpful and kind, which can be rare. If I had a single complaint, it would be to have the ability to do more with the website, so I didn't HAVE to call so often, but that isn't a deal breaker at all. I'm pleased to be in the position to finally start to see light at the end of the tunnel. I had seen the original estimate for graduation and was disappointed when date continued to move ahead. I contributed an extra $500 and change upon request as soon as I could, but it seemed that either I was too late or the terms or situation with the creditor being worked on changed. I could have applied more to my account if I only knew. I guess what I'm saying is a little more communication could have gone a long way, which would have put me more at ease when I was threatened by one creditor and received the paperwork for filed lawsuit for another creditor from the local Sherriff's deputy.

It sounded great when Johan connected with us but then they settled 1 account and charged us over 1,000 to do so... So then we cancelled all other debit with them and kept the one we owed... All grave and dandy until this last month when we changed our payment to what we owed them and they charged us 400 instead of 181 with and unauthorized payment and now they won't even fix it.. I tried to Called them to get it fixed and they transferred me 3 freaking times to get nowhere. Don't do this program. It will screw you over and you'll be more behind than making small payments to what you owe...

So far my experience with Freedom has been good. One account has been settled and payments complete. Another large account had been settled and payments started. Be aware of the settlement fees which are significant. I settled one account myself and avoided that fee. I also was supposed to hear from Victoria in the settlement department but did not. That was disappointing. You can only talk to phone representatives and not the settlement department but the phone reps have all seemed knowledgeable.

I was unemployed for a month and had to miss a payment. The CSR was very helpful and understanding. He reminded me that there was a possibility of creditors canceling the agreement. One did and it has recently been renegotiated.

Life facing possible three cancer diagnosis which turned out after six months of tests and waiting. No cancer but during that time I went a bit crazy buying birthday gifts for my 13 grandkids and 7 kids plus Xmas gifts. Wanting them all to have great memories of me. Communication drops. My settlement for Discover was not given any urgency, lack of communication, no solutions. Ended up getting served from a attorney. When I was going to begin your program Discover offered a 50% down to $4500. I told Freedom and they said, "No we can get it lower." So I signed and I end up paying and Settling myself at &8200. The best you guys said you could do was 10k plus. I was very discouraged after I got served. No one would help me. No return my calls. I had to take it off the program because you said you guys couldn't do anything at the end. You guys do a great job making promises in selling your program. They didn’t settle one of my debts, in fact it grew to a large amount while it was in their control. Then they forgot to tell me there was a stipulation agreement on my one settlement which requires me to pay back interest after I paid the current amount off.

Settlements took a bit longer than expected and many a couple of accounts would not settle for less than what was owed. I ended up pulling an account out of the program after four years because they would not negotiate with Freedom Debt Relief. I was very excited when the end was near however a technical glitch kept me in the program two month more than what was needed. Overall, I’m satisfied with the results and happy that my debts are FINALLY gone.

This is the second time I have used a Debt Relief Service. I was proud working with the first one and I am pretty much satisfied working with this one. I did have my doubts that they might not be trying to negotiate the lowest possible debt. The first debt was settled below 50% on them. The second was right at 50%. The third was below 50% again. My main complaint was every month I would get an email to use my Dashboard and every time I came into some extra change that would allow these debts to be settle earlier, I would use my Dashboard and let them know what I was acceptable to paying immediately and they would NEVER respond to me. That is my foremost complaint and knowing that the debt could have been settled 12 to 15 months earlier is my only complaint with your company and why I would be hesitant in recommending Freedom Debt Relief to any of my acquaintances.

I got through my set up call and was told that I would get a call on the 28th. I never got the call and waited the whole hour window. I went in and set up for another time on the 30th and again no call. I emailed the guy that I originally talked to and have gotten no response. Tomorrow my first payment is supposed to be made and I am very uncomfortable about the whole thing. Now all the bills that are in the program are late and I still have not gotten the call that was supposed to explain everything.

I was speaking to a coworker at my job about my haunting indebtedness and bigger than nightmare interest rates. My debt kept escalating as I tried to pay the monthly due payments. He recommended Freedom Debt Relief. I was nearing retirement age (early at 62). I had to get relief. On the first of each month, I used automatic pay from checking, to go ahead and deduct $492 and deducted that from my total checking balance. This does not work if you have less than enough to cover the balance. This helped tremendously paying with no worries.
It took 2 years to pay off over $20,000 debt but all interest was scraped off as part of the negotiation. I did not apply for credit, cut up all my credit cards, and focused on my payoff date. You set up an online account with FDR and you can check your goals and any updates to your account daily. It kept me encouraged as I just received my “Congrats” from FDR for having paid my debt off. Once an offer is made keep negotiating for lesser amount to pay off. They will let you know if that is feasible. I am debt free.

I'm still in process with Freedom Debt Relief and it's about a year to go, but they are amazing. The payments are based on how much is in the program that they calculate the biweekly payment, but I haven't been making a deposit for the past couple of weeks because of financial hardships. Three family members had COVID, I was out of work for a while, then I had to have major dental work. I had to postpone payments 'cause I had to pay the dentist 'cause I was in excruciating pain. I also had car trouble and I had to replace my transmission. I was told that I can go in and modify my payments then as soon as I'm back up on my feet, I can either give more or start to go back on. I like that that's an option.
Freedom Debt Relief understands that I'm in a financial hardship, and they're willing to help. However, if there was a less frequent withdrawal or deposit needed or the amount, that will be better. I'm barely starting to get back up on my feet. Still, the agents that I speak to and help me out are very good. They are very warm, welcoming, and understanding, and they give great explanations. I haven't had one problem with any of the agents. I feel at ease and taken care of, and I would tell friends they should give Freedom Debt Relief a try.

Once we got going everything has been great. I previously advised my discord with the initial phone call which was scheduled but did not occur, even when I called them. I spoke with one of the receptionists after my 4th attempt. She did apologize.

After my husband passed away without life insurance I was in debt alone. I made the decision to use Freedom Debt relief to help my pay my debts with the support of their team /lawyers support to prevent creditors from harassing me day and night. They were able come up with a monthly payment less than what I was paying out alone. I made sure the monthly withdrawal was always there. I liked the security of checking my account and dedicated accounts status anytime I wanted to. As well as the updated e mails when an account was graduated (meaning paid off). If it wasn't for FDR, I would still have large debt to pay off. I was planning on retiring by 2023, but COVID came and my job offered early retirement incentive for eligible employees and I accepted. It would have taken at least another 7 to 10 years for me to become debt free. Thanks to FDR, I have paid off a large amount of debt within less than 5 years! I have NO desire to go down that road again!

Well everything ran smooth with my first few accounts. But recently I had arrangements set and money paid in for the deposit on a negotiation. Another offer came in (that I accepted as told to) and now FDR is asking for an additional $1800 to pay on the account that I originally made arrangements for. I just don't have it and am about to be sued. All I'm asking is they pay the money so that I won't get sued and I can arrange to pay more on the smaller account that I accepted last.

Freedom Debt Relief was a great source of relief. When we got in program every extra nickel was going to debt and credit cards. Program allowed us some breathing room. I would suggest anyone who gets in send a little extra if possible you will be able to do it. In fact after we graduated we had a little money extra in our account and took short vacation.

I'm an older customer and looking to retire in a few years. When I realized it was going to take 28 years to pay off my debt I reached out to FDR. By talking to my FDR advisor, we developed a plan to resolve my debt in 2 years which certainly sounds better than 28.

I feel rather lost since I missed a call from 1 of the associates. It is very hard to get through to a live person when I try to call. I wish I knew that I was doing everything correctly. It is not a comfortable feeling. The process is scary and I just need some feedback.

One of the accounts that I have listed is my Elastic account that you have an incorrect dollar amount on. It should be 1859.99 not 18599. I have sent 2 emails with account screenshot and called your customer service department and still no action has been done to correct it. Please get this updated as my monthly payment is based on these accounts. And currently I am overpaying.

I wish they would settle all the cards from the beginning. All the calls is too much for me. It’s much easier to authorize them all at once than to keep going in and doing them. But I will say the people are very helpful and polite.
