From the first payment, they messed up and then tried to double bill me and when I called in the 3 or 4 times about this nothing was resolved or fixed. All of this has over drafted my bank account so I just decided to just run the program and hope for the best but I don't have high hopes at all.

Freedom Debt Relief took on my CC debts, negotiated down, and paid each one according to the balance of my deposits each month as prescribed in the agreement. This service was the only way for me to achieve the payment of those debts!! People caught up in CC debt are largely incapable of paying off those debts on their own. The only other choice is bankruptcy. I am totally recommending Freedom Debt Relief as the best means if getting out of debt and re-establishing credit. Thank you Freedom Debt Relief!!

My husband doesn't think it is very good, I do because I'm seeing things getting paid even if it is older credits. I'm happy with the service. I see some of the older credits going away. My credit score has gone up a little.

I have tried to call and email my consult Cristal ** and have had no response. This is very frustrating. I left 2 voicemails and emailed her. My client dashboard does not reflect the last negotiation she made for me over 2 weeks ago. I have had to contact my accounts she is supposed to be working with to get my balance she had said she tried to negotiate with but asked me to contact them. This makes me question what she really is doing for me.

Can't afford to even pay your monthly fees that you have already charged me three times already and I haven't even started yet. Your company has tried to charge my account multiple times before the start date. I was pressured to even start and I told the guy I would probably have to push it off till later and there was no mention of a monthly fee. Why would I sign up early if there is a monthly fee?

When I began this program, I was told it would take 4 years to resolve 4 debts. As FDR resolved one at a time, the last debt was incurring interest (4 years' worth). Apparently FDR couldn’t find who the last debt was located, so after calling Finding this out, I took matters into my own hands. I found out where the last debt was and notified FDR. No action was taken for over 6 months! Keep in mind, I had over $8,000. In my dedicated account to settle the $11,200. Debt…little did I know, when they decided to settle this debt, they added on the 4.5 years of interest that had been accumulating. As of now, FDR says it will be 5 years until I’m done. This is due to their unprofessional lack of communication, and could have been avoided completely (as, I did their work for them in finding where my loan was). I feel like I’m now GIVING them money for NOT doing their job!!! This has been very frustrating, time consuming and broken promises!!!!

I say that because I wasn't completely prepared for what was about to happen to my already shaky credit score. I was making minimum payments, not even making a dent in any of my credit cards, kept going downhill from there. Getting loans to cover "a couple of cards" only to get behind on other ones. Got to the point of living paycheck to paycheck with no relief in sight. Finally, after not being able to get another loan, looked at Freedom Debt. They will go through all your accounts, add up all the debt that you have and give you a dollar amount that you will need to pay per month. You will stop paying all debt that you added to this program and wait for the fun part. Now you start getting all the missed payment notices, then come the annoying phones calls from creditors.

Be sure to read the fine print. Although they did negotiated the reductions, once their fees were added, it still cost the same as if I paid off the credit cards myself. In addition, it took an additional 12 months from the original graduation date to actually graduate. I don’t fault them for most of this as I signed up, but I would NOT do this again with FDR.

I started with a counselor, Melinda. She told me exactly what to expect. When I got anxious I could contact her for reassurance. I followed everything she suggested I do such as, convert my billing address and phone number to FDR. They were able to represent me with the bill collectors. I also stayed proactive with my dedicated account. I celebrated every time an account was paid off.

It wasn’t clearly presented to me. I only found out how really works when I was already signed up and she played the recording where everything was explained. I really don’t appreciate my credit cards calling every day to say I’m late on my payments.

Great big help to me and my family especially during these trying times. Hoping that we can get back in front of our lives sooner than later. School is here now and come summer. We'll be hopefully back on top of our budget so that my family can move on.

No report to 3 major credit that I paid my accounts, In my credit said that I still owing that accounts and I need to report because I want to buy a house and for that reason I can't. We will be easy if you do that everybody will apreciated.

While you are doing what you said you were going to do I do not agree with the services you are charging me compared to what you are paying out to resolve my credit issues. I feel like more should go towards my credit issues.

They are good at the work they do, and they are quick and they get your permission before they do anything I really like that. They are for their clients and they do the best they can to get rid of your debt as low and as quick as they can.

Hi, Overall, I did save a lot of money. Fees take away some of that but, the creditors were off my back. Stick with the plan and keep on top of your credit score and dispute balances when you get settlements (and especially when you pay each off) and your credit score will rebound!

I wish I never signed up with Freedom Debt. My credit got worsen, and some of my cc was not settle to lower the amount but plus additional fee on top and late fee and lawyer fee court fee. I made mistake by joined the freedom debt relief.

This is my first time getting a consolidated loan with Freedom. When I first applied the rep explained everything very clear and was very patient with all of the questions that I had, at that point I was ready to commit in getting help.

I called 3 times today and no one called me, the call drop when I was connected to customer service, it dropped again, I was so disappointed, not in the dropped but the fact that no one called me back.

We were snowed under. Making minimum payments and worried every month. My daughter told me of her wonderful experience so we decided to give it a try. Although I am satisfied with my debt being resolved I do not like the way it's being prioritized. You did not realize items would just be left in charge off statuses making it appear like you just left my debt up for grabs! There are other things I am not happy about very much to type.

Not happy about our creditors calling all day and us having to talk to them and tell them we can’t pay! You are the ones that should be talking to them like Credit counselors do! This program takes too long and in the meantime my Credit is garbage for the next three years. We are going to have one of our vehicles paid off in March and now we won’t be able to buy a new vehicle with our bad credit rating!

I am happy to finally be doing something to get out of debt but it is a long, slow-moving process. I guess I thought FDR would negotiate with all of my creditors at once and then I would gradually pay them all off. But that has not been the case. It seems that FDR only negotiates with one or two of my creditors at a time and as a result, I am still receiving lots of phone calls, texts, and emails from my creditors, which is extremely annoying.

Communication was extremely poor when one of my debts went into litigation. If I had not been proactive in the process, I believe that it would not have ended the way it did. Documents were not sent to me in a timely manner from McCarthy Law. NLLG continued to get money even though they declined to take my case. I received no services from them but paid $12 a month regardless. Even when asked to drop them, they did not. Up until dealing with my litigation FDR did a good job.

When I joined Freedom Debt Relief it was scary because I had shoulder surgery and was having trouble paying my bills. After joining freedom debt relief the person helping me was there for me all the way through and when the creditors were calling and threatening me freedom debt relief assured me that I was also paying for lawyer protection so if the creditors tried to do anything I would be legally protected and reassured me everything will be okay. Updated on 07/14/2024: I'm extremely pleased with the service I have received since I signed up in 2022. They keep in touch with me monthly and so far I have not have any problems. I received several letters from a few of my creditors and it wasn't a problem to let Freedom Debt Relief know and they handled them immediately!

I got myself in a jam by accepting all preapproved credit cards. After a while I couldn’t keep up on the payments. My daughter suggested I phone Freedom Debt Relief. They are wonderful. We are chipping away at my debt.

I paid my first payment on time. I’m getting constant calls. They demand a payment. When do you guys intervene? I'm gonna change my debit card number so they cannot debit me, The only ones who will get the New debit card numbers will be you guys. Please help soon

I've been working with FDR for a little over a year now and the initial setup and settlements went very smoothly. Unfortunately, once I received a summons from one of my creditors, this is where my good experience ended. They claim to have a "legal network", but when I reached out to them, they were of absolutely zero help to me and I walked into the courtroom alone and completely unaware of what was in store. A judgment was placed by the court and I had to pay every single dollar of that particular debt. FDR "took it easy" on me and didn't charge me a settlement fee for this one though.

Professional staff, very good communication and excellent computer services. I was surprised at how in depth all of the pertinent information was followed through with. The program guide was also very informative and gave me a positive outlook for the future.

I think that everything went well except the last write off. It was up to me to handle everything to secure graduation. I know that I paid to have this done. I had to secure a credit report on both of us to reach graduation. I think it was more of an issue to continue depositing monthly deposits.

Did not particularly agree with the decision on the law sue. I put my trust in Freedom Debt Relief and they drop the ball. I was told a settlement was achieved but come to find out someone in your office drop the ball allowing for sue. No blame was placed on the company for their mistakes. It looked like I was guilty. Since my job transfer went sideways in June 2022. I was barely keeping up with minimums due each month. With the help of consolidation. My payments have been cut in half. Allowing some financial breathing room, which means I can squirrel away some money as well.
