I just started with Freedom Financial but so far, so good! My certified debt specialist never made me feel ashamed or embarrassed about all the debt that I'm in. So far so good! I can appreciate getting this debt off my back. The staff are very informative and patient with me and my many many questions. I was very hesitant to get started with the company. After being on the phone with the rep for about 2 hours, I was more comfortable and ready to get the process started.

We did this same program a few years back and didn't have this useless script for creditor calls. We were told at the time to switch our info with our creditors to FDRs address and phone. This worked great. Now, you expect us to field 20 - 30 calls a day while you do your behind the scenes thing. Please listen to your clients when we say they are RELENTLESS with phone calls. They sometimes call every 15 minutes if you don't answer, NEVER leave messages, and ignore everything you say in the "script". They want to know when you're going to pay them, and why not now - that's it. They don't notate anything you say, it's just recorded as "contact made - refused to pay" (a particular creditor told me exactly this). I now regret going with FDR since I wasn't aware the rules had changed. At least if I'd have gone with Bankruptcy, the phone calls would have stopped.

My assigned representative has been not communicating wih me and left me feeling lost in this whole process. I really dislike her service and wish for a new assigned representative. I have had good communication with customer service. They were very helpful when I needed to cancel a particular enrolled debt. I was promised that I have complete control of the account only to find out all of the actions in the system are blocked and I must contact an agent. This was not what was promised when first starting with Freedom credit.

I really don’t understand how this whole process is going to work because I got letters from my creditors saying that the ACH is it stopped, but they still tried the pool yesterday which I got a bank fee for which I don’t appreciate that. So I guess I’m gonna have to call my bank and put a stop payment on all my creditors that I have on contract.

It's been a good experience so far. I'm glad to have some help with resolving my debt accounts. I look forward to getting all of these debts settled and go on to be better at managing my debt and credit in the future.

I was very hesitant at first to do this program. I've never made any late or missed payments but it just didn't matter. I wasn't getting anywhere with the minimum payments and the high interest. FDR was able to answer all my questions and put my mind at ease. I'll be out of debt a ton sooner than if I was to just keep making my minimum payments. It's pretty nerve-racking at first to just stop paying all your bills and the phone calls start rolling in but if you follow their guidelines and do what they say it does work out. My debt collection calls slowed down so what after speaking with them.

I only gave 4 stars because I am frustrated, someone can't get back to me re- A loan offer. I have been contacted a couple of times. The first offer I just said no. I am getting very close to the end of this program. I do not wish to drag it on 10 more yrs. I want an interest rate, if I would be accepted, how long the loan would be, I get offers all the time. I do not wish to fill something all out, and then find the answers I'm looking for.

We were able to get out of our debt and everything went smoothly. The only reason for 3 stars is because I wished there was a little bit more communication with a person not just the website. I am so happy I’m debt free. Just follow their instructions and always keep in contact with them with all the questions you have. If you are very patient do what is told, able to deal with creditors who have probably already been blowing up your phone anyway eventually you will start to see the change. Much like everything else in life if you are patient your patience will be rewarded.

They set up a amount on when they would take payment out and my payment stayed the same for 4 years. All I needed to do is make sure money was in account. They did the rest. Best thing I ever did. Yeah it messes with credit in beginning but it goes back to normal. I bought a new car while on it with good interest too. Thank you Freedom for helping me.

You’ve really screwed up my life financially, socially and emotionally. I thought you were a sensible and real helper. Instead you took me for a ride and Let you do it for over 2 years. I have to say you make it lol great but you are just sucking the life out of poor people. I will find a way out. After two years of outrageous settlement fees you drop me to get a loan with a branch of your company that charged crooks interest. So I came in with $34000 and now I have a $24000 loans that when I am done to pay it will be close to $48000.

Discover Card made an agreement with us for two cards. The lawyers for Discover only sent signature paperwork for one of the two cards. We signed what was sent but didn't know we were missing a form. The Discover lawyers then made a court date regarding the non signed agreement. I repeatedly called Freedom Debt Relief asking questions and asking for help. If Freedom Debt had called Discover on my behalf, when I had requested, I wouldn't have missed a court date. Very disappointed in the handling of this card.

My experience has been good. There was a lack of communication in one instance and I kept getting phone calls but it was finally taken care of. Also I do feel that you are double dipping with charges for negotiation and then charging interest for the loan. Still feel relief that my credit will start to improve.

This company is amazing. They told me within 2-3yrs all my cards would be settled. When I tell you it’s been less than a year and most of my cards are settled and my credit score is going back up it really is. This has been an amazing experience. I truly appreciate the work and effort put forth to get my credit down.

You suppose to settle for less than the total amount, but you settled for the total amount owed, plus I have to pay you monthly fees, and settlement fees that you never negotiated. I don't need you for that. I'm really mad about this.

Your negotiation are slow... I have been in the program for a year and still getting NASTY calls... Several things have go to collections and you have not done anything to stop it. I think we may have to go with bankruptcy. There is no other hope....

Updated on 02/28/2023: This has changed my life and allowed me to get rid of all of my bill anxiety! With an affordable monthly deposit, FDR manages all of my bills! They do the negotiating with my creditors and ask me to authorize it. The phone calls and dunning letters have stopped! THANK YOU! FDR

This program cost 10k more than FDR ‘estimated’. If I ever had an issue the ‘on phone’ reps were always extremely nice but hardly effective in resolving the issue. If they said they would call back, it was a lie. I had 5 accounts with a 51k total balance owed. FDR told me they could settle for 41k, all inclusive of their fees. It ended up costing me over my 51k balance by the time I finished and I ‘graduated’ 11 months early. I ‘probably’ could have negotiated for less and been done sooner…. All in all I’m out of credit card debt, sooo….

I called and changed my number. I get emails about things but never about my accounts.. I’ve been depositing money in.. and some I had to go out of the companies way to just start payments. I’ve tried and emailed the person in charge. Nothing.

If this is an option you choose, FDR is extremely clear, consistent and reliable for their program. It works exactly as intended and customer service is always informative as well as friendly. It’s a scary thing to be in debt but this program allows for a clean slate, just make sure you understand the program and FDR provides all the resources.

They are charging fees for debt you can get reduced on your own for free, basically you still end up paying mostly the same amount for the debt once FDR adds their fees into the equation. You can call the collectors yourself and they will reduce your balance for free without any fees.

I am very pleased with my experience, definitely recommend for a peace of mind. And anyone dealing with debt could use some peace of mind. I just want to start off and say that FDR changed my life. I was drowning in debt to the point that I couldn’t sleep. I was financially irresponsible when I was younger and I knew I had to do something about it. As I was scrolling on Instagram I came across FDR at first I was hesitant but boy did it change my life. They genuinely took care of me and consolidated and took care of my accounts, no more calls! They did the work for me and lowered my monthly payment. 3 years later I saved 30,000 dollars and I'm finally done and debt free. You can be happy again you just have to get FDR to help you, I recommend 100%.

They never minced words... they explained the process so I understood well and it went just as they explained. Your credit score will lower since you can't make payments in enrolled debt but it does bounce back. They were able to add debt I find after my program started. You can make extra payments to store up the process as well. I hope to never need their service again but I'm happy it was available when I needed it most.

When I first started the program my representative told me it would be a few months and then all my debt would be cleared. Then I logged in to my account and my graduation was 5 years, but it was too late by that point. The settlements started off good. Then turned bad. The most recent one nothing was taken of.

I just want to say everything about the customer service and everything was it was nice even from the beginning when I started until until the end they're nice to work with. They help you if you have any questions and I'll recommend anyone to them because they take time and I thank them.

I've had good service with Freedom Debt Relief. They have an excellent program. I like them. They call every once in a while and tell me how it's going. I've not had to worry about the bills that I turned in to them. They're taking care of those.

Freedom Debt Relief got several different bills off of me. I signed up five years ago, and the process was very easy. I just finished with the program, and aside from when I first signed up, during my second approval and when I swapped over bank accounts, I never had any contact with nobody. It was just automatic payments coming out of my bank account. I log into my dashboard every two months to keep track of my progress, and I got everything stored in my email file to where I can go back and tell someone when everything was processed and when it progressed to the next thing. Overall, I recommend Freedom Debt Relief and I would recommend keeping in contact with somebody or somebody keep in contact with the person.

They give all the necessary suggestions and what it projects to your financial freedom. They let you know step by step what are your best choices and how to reach your goal. At the end is all about being debt free.

I used Freedom Debt Relief for debt consolidation and everything was done online. They called to confirm everything was done correctly and it was all based off logging into the website once a week since. I'm very comfortable working with their reps and I haven't had any issues with the process. They're fast to respond, too. If I have any questions and I shoot them an email, I have a response within two to three hours. Their service is excellent and really easy to use. They have helped with everything I wanted the program to do and it should be done in the next six months. I've also referred people to them and I have two friends using them.

Working with my rep was good until eight months ago. An underwriter or subcompany of Freedom was harassing me trying to get me to come over to their side and saying that they could pay my debt off a lot sooner. They kept on for six months and then I called and told them they were harassing me. That was when they stopped. Other than that, Freedom has been outstanding. Working with them has been a challenge but it stopped the creditors from calling.

Didn't realize how much you take for service or for completing a settlement. More of that money should go towards settlements. If not what's the point. Just takes that much longer. We're already struggling to pay stuff off. Maybe could be something to look into for future reference.

It is embarrassing to be in debt. The debt agent was very understanding and non-judgmental. This made a difficult decision and conversation less stressful. They came up with a plan that could work with our budget and assisted in selecting which debt would we best to put in the plan.

Freedom Debt Relief helped me out of a bind. Without them, we would have lost our house. They were amazing. Everybody I worked with was super nice. They were very communicative. It was a simple process from beginning to end. They told me how the process works and what was gonna happen. They explained some would work with them, some wouldn't. They'd put those off till the end and they'd try to get them to work with them and keep working at them. They also work with you on payments. I got the two payments a month so I get paid off a little sooner. Plus, I couldn't afford $300 in one payment. We already took three years to get it all done. We worked it all out one at a time. The last one was a stick in the mud. They wouldn't work with us. But I was back on the way to being okay again so it all worked out the way it was supposed to.

So far my experience has been great! The live agents are always available to answer any questions I have and are always so kind. They’ve made this process super easy and I’m looking forward to finishing the program by the end of the year!

Updated on 03/23/2023: I had my first debt resolved paying less than 1/2 of what I owed. I didn't have to do anything, either!! I completely recommend this to anyone who has credit card debt and is having problems paying off any one of the cards they have. I was paying more than my minimum every month, but there was no way I could pay off even one of them. Freedom Debt Relief is making it possible for me to get back on the right track. Great job!

Someone may was supposed to call me on January 29th at 9:15 and although a Sunday I figured someone would call according to the email. No call. Not upset just (I’m thinking) automated emails. Cory was the representative I spoke with and set me up so not too satisfied with service.

I have been trying for almost a month to access my dashboard. I have spent countless HOURS on the phone and have been told seven different reasons why. And yet, no one fixes it and I’m told to call back later.

I have worked with two other debt relief companies in the past. Both companies I left before it was complete not because it was a financial hardship to stay on the program but because I had grown uneasy with both companies controlling my money. Neither company communicated often with me. When the the first one did they were standoffish and condescending. The more recent was very nice and personable, I just rarely heard from them. Now with FDR I have the best. I couldn't be happier. Friendly. Knowledgeable. Caring staff at FDR.

When I first contacted Freedom they were very helpful and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. Everything was sent in mail and electronically. Signing electronically is best. Don't have to wait for mail or go some place to sign.

I have not seen any progress because the information was not put in correctly on enrollment. I’m now a couple of months in and had even made an extra deposit that did not take either. But the was told I needed to make a deposit of $89.00. There is no way to schedule a deposit for the current day. It wants to put you 3-4 days out to schedule a deposit. When I called them they did not seem concerned and just input the correct information but would not allow me to make an immediate deposit. I’m starting to have some regrets but will give it a couple of more months to see if it improves.

Everything was great! I just feel the processing fee was a little high. Other than that I am happy to resolve my debt and move on with my life. I would recommend others to try this if your debt is out of control and need assistance. Very kind and friendly people that worked with me.

Negotiated all settlements for me, and took care of any legal issues that arose. Basically they were the person I needed in my corner to help get down a long hard road, I had over 50,000 in debt when I started and probably would of had to lose a lot without the help of FDR, They handled it all. I just had to make my deposits to my account on time and the program did the rest.

I am disappointed with the program. I haven’t had any feedback from the account and what was paid. I’m sorry this didn’t work out for me as I thought this would be beneficial to my situation. I would appreciate if you would reimburse the funds that was deposited via my account.
