I see absolutely no progress. A lot happier with the last program I was in. Seems like quick to take my payment with no outcome. Very disappointing. I have contacted with my concerns and nothing was done. No one helped. I have all my stuff going to collections and I getting horrible phone calls and letters. The reps were always helpful and I was impressed with how they got everything together. They figured everything out, like how much you would owe, and gave an estimated graduation date, what you could afford. They just tell you not to skip any payments if you can because they try to stick to it and if you miss a payment or decrease your amount, it could set your graduation date back. If you can’t make a payment, you just call and let them know, and they will move it to the next month. The more you pay, the faster it will go. But Freedom never pressured me.

When I made this agreement I was at work and was unaware of exactly how this worked. I know in time this is going to help me but in the meantime not paying on the accounts that I was on top of and was told not to pay on is causing me stress.

When I was signed up initially, I was not cautioned that my payment was going to go up. But it went up by $50 a month. When asked about this, I was given lame excuses. They should be more straightforward with their description and be accountable when they are held accountable.

The representative I spoke to was easy to understand, was straight forward, and clearly spoke when explaining how things work, and what to expect from the start. Overall currently, I am happy with my decision and am anxious to see improvement. At the moment it is still too early to know for certain how well things will go. See, I had called several other debt settlement companies and they all had a few creditors on my list that they didn’t work with. In my first month, I had roughly 300 pulled from my account and put into my dedicated account. They made 1 $15 dollar payment to one singular account but kept almost $240 just for their settlement fee. This was not explained me during my almost 2 hour initial call. I never would have signed up for the program if I knew that they were going to keep 25% OF MY MONEY! Every month it estimated that they were going to be keeping $200+ just for their fees! Do not use this company. It is a rip off! When I called to cancel I was spoken to like I was making a huge mistake by canceling. I am already living paycheck to paycheck and I am not going to give someone $200 or more a month to pay another company $15 a month.

I've been a little sick so I haven't been able to check my account but it looks like Debt Relief is getting more than my debts are, I thought the list would start getting smaller faster than it has so far, I sure hope things start getting caught up pretty quick.

Thank God I found Freedom Debt Relief (FDR) to knock down my debt. I chose FDR because it has the highest rating for debt consolidation. At first, I thought a debt consolidation company was a fraud. They only want my money. I contacted FDR and got the estimate, but I was too afraid to make a decision. Finally, after my debt was going nowhere and getting worse, I called and agreed to sign up FDR as my debt consolidation company to take care of my debt. I have been calling every week for about a month to get help logging into my client dashboard. When I go to log in it states that no account has been set up for this email, but then when I try to set it up again it says there is already a user with that email. I have a right to be able to log in to my dashboard. When I call they say that they are putting in a help desk ticket, but no one gets back with me or tries to answer the help desk tickets. This is getting ridiculous and I’m about ready to switch to another debt relief company that will let me log into my account.

We have settled with one of the creditors so far. I have asked for you to contact the other creditors, but it has not been done yet. They have heard from me and I have sent them information that has been provided for me but this has not stopped the calls.

You pride yourself on lowering the amount of the settlement but the fees that you charge make the discount minimal. Length of time, etc makes it difficult to be excited about the program. I don't know if this is worth it for me. My creditors keep calling me over and over again.

I've had a good experience with their reps. Whatever questions I had, I would just call them and they would help me out right away. Working with their reps was very easy. They told me it would take three to four years, but, I'm still not done. And it's been five years. I have six accounts brought to Freedom and I still have three more to go.

I called Freedom Debt Relief. At first, it was nerve-racking. But after I got done talking with their rep, it was exciting and I was ready to start. The program they set up for me was supposed to add around 22. But life happens so you have to change things around. They had me for 2025 and that should save me at a balance of 2 something. Ever since then, they settled a few things and I was able to get a few things done. I actually bought my first home this year because of Freedom so it's been a blessing.

I just had to Freedom Debt Relief what I still had in outstanding accounts. And then determined which accounts they could work with and couldn't, and which would be in the program and not. We went further with the enrollment process on how they protect us with the attorneys. And we got our own team of attorneys that work on it, and how the program would work. Updated on 12/28/2023: I am on the second of four write offs in less than one year. One complaint I have is with the monthly fees that are charged, thus decreasing my funds available for debt settlements. My initial contact person was very informative. Dashboard is difficult to navigate especially if I want to review all ongoing correspondence with the creditor.

I thank you for your knowledge in helping me when I needed it the most. I am still new and am thankful for the opportunities to get my debt under control. I am also thankful for the help and patience given to me to help me understand how this all works.

Ordinarily I would ask one of my children or grandchildren to read the directions and then tell me what or how to do something. With ADHD I can't read more than a couple sentences at a time. I already had a write off on one account. I am concerned with how I recently learned that if an account knows I am working with you before you negotiate they are likely to do that. I have larger account debts that have not been touched yet. I am fearful from the calls and emails saying I am close to collections. I was not expecting this, especially an account write off.
