I recommend Freedom Debt Relief because they are very professional people and give me a break and breath for my debts and almost done to pay all my debts and be free again. My graduation is coming very soon and after that not more debts, no more phone calls and I ready to a new beginning.

All over experience is excellent. What's excellent is the negotiators were very good handling the credit cards to try to get the best outcome, as well as the law firm involved.... especially the difficult one, Discover. So now moving along, there are just 2 left, and debts will be completed in a year and a few months. Also... 90% of your people who answered the phones were very helpful, and knew what they were ".talking about".. Some were CLUELESS..So it probably would be a good idea to have some more training on that part. The only other thing is that dashboard.. You say check your dashboard, but it isn't correct many times. I understand things are "estimated" but it never seems to be accurate. In all, I am satisfied, and trust me lol, I'll NEVER deal with credit cards again! :)

I specifically asked about a scenario involving a debt collector taking me to court due to none payment BEFORE enrolling into the program. I was told that Freedom Debt Relief would use their legal resources to take care of it. And I was assured that most likely that wouldn't happen due to their relationships. Well it happened and now I am being told if they can't negotiate with the creditor that I would be advised to follow the creditor's legal directions. Which would most likely be a higher balance including any court fees.

FDR does well with negotiating settlements. I do feel they charge a lot for settlement fees (26%) when the point is to try and get you out of debt. While I understand the process I do feel the customer should have more say so in who they reach out next for settlement. But overall good to work with.

I have had only good experiences with Freedom Debt Relief. I had 2 customer service contacts and one representative actually went back to day 1 and worked everything forward to make sure what I was concerned about was actually resolved, just not yet posted. No one takes that kind of time and caring. But those touches are what sets in OK company apart from an excellent one. A friend recommended the company to me and I am forever grateful to her as I am just a few months away from "graduation."

When I enrolled with Freedom Debt Relief, the process was very smooth. I spoke to a gentleman and I explained what I was going through. He said they were tailor-made for my particular situation and that he would send me some information in the mail. So, he sent me some brochures in the regular postal mail and it seemed like something that really was tailor-made for my situation at the time. Also, everything that I had any doubts about, the person who tended to my case was more than willing to give me any answer to any questions that I had.

I do explain everything to you they're polite. And they answer all your questions. It's a lot easier with help from someone that knows how to do it. They make it so you don't stress about anything. They tell you what to say to your creditors.

Very slow getting settlements and it seems like all the money I’ve been paying is going to this company and they are prolonging getting me out of debt. I’ve used another company with same amount debt, it only took 2 years. I will not be using this company after 2024.

FDR has not lived up to what I was told when I enrolled.. I was made to believe debts I enrolled would be taken care of immediately.. These debts were current and not late or behind, I just recently learned within the last month that the debts had to default before anything could happen.. Had I known that, I would have never let them default.. So far only 1 of the debts have been settled.

They are very interesting in keeping in touch with you when it's time to pay off a creditor. They will inform you on how much money they have negotiated on with the creditors and how much money you have to pay them off and the next one they will be working on.

Seems like a very streamlined system especially made by professionals, for people who don't necessarily understand all the ins and outs of the financial banking system. I'll give off a second review after it's all settled. I believe they know what they're doing.

You only saved me $3000 but charged me $6000 so I saved no money at all. I could have settled myself and saved more. Attorney settled without even discussing with me. FDR customer service was no help. Attorney told me to ask for a reduction in fee, but FDR would not even consider.

FDR is great. So far they have done a lot of work for me. I'm just new but am very happy so far. Couldn't ask for a better company to handle my accounts and help me get out of debt and in a short amount of time. Very pleased.

We are so pleased that we have this Co. on our side; wish it had been years ago. They do exactly what they said they would and in 6 months we have come a long way. Only 1 issue w them and that’s we still (after 6 mos) don’t have a Dashboard (which you need to have to keep track of expenditures, dates, offers, etc.) All else is just as they promised and we’re glad we signed on!

Has been a god send. The stress has been taken off my shoulders. Had 11 bills to make a settlement with - so far 3 bills have either been settled/paid off. The staff is wonderful to deal with - very professional. I would highly recommend their service.

My debt was out of control and I had no idea what to do. This program has helped me reduce my debt and feel like it is a solvable problem. I have a plan and am paying monthly with an end date in sight. The resources they have provided in dealing with creditors have been very useful.

I'm a little dissatisfied with the experience because the prioritization of negotiations, I feel, are not the best for my situation and are prolonging my end date. There are smaller debts that I feel would have been easier to settle than some of the larger ones. I understand that some of the negotiations are based on length of time in order to get the "best" settlement, but the way my situation has been handled, I don't think it is offering me the quickest resolution. We should be allowed to prioritize debt settlement in our program and FDR works within those guidelines.

I have recommended Freedom to a couple friends that are struggling and it them peace of mind that they can see the light at the end of the tunnel and getting their debt under control. Knowing that one of the stressors in life are finances, especially after the pandemic set backs, - I have learned to get my spending under control and the need to "want" is no longer important than the things I may "need". Updated on 5/20/2023: All is great.. one more creditor to finalize then it will be wonderful! All personnel has been helpful, knowledgeable and I couldn’t ask for more. I will certainly write a closing statement when it comes that all creditors have been settled.. There is one I’m concerned about saying I did a loan and not credit card debt.. I have Never made a consolation loan ever.

The program is a prayer answered. The staff are wonderful and very helpful and explained in great detail how the program works. This plan is helpful to those who have got themselves in a pickle and need a little help getting back on track. This program does that.

You were supposed to take my first payment out three days ago that it hasn’t happened. In order for you to assist me and my debts you have to have something to negotiate with. If you’re not taking money out of my account to build up a negotiating firm then we’re getting nowhere.

The emails are repetitive. The first paragraph may be different but the rest of the info contained in them is repetitive either from previous emails or what I have received in the mail. When I called about this, I was told that they HAD to send these out per federal regs.

No one helped me with my client dashboard. I kept getting the runaround so I do not even know what I am paying for or when the contract ends. One customer service representative said they sent my problem to it and it never got fixed but yet y'all quick to take out the money.

Freedom Debt Relief negotiated with the collectors and was able to bring down our debt. I just had to pay two payments a month. I would call them and ask them when something is gonna be done and they would let me know. We were having issues with one of the accounts. They settled it at first then they decided not to. But Freedom Debt Relief is working with them to get it fixed. I'm very happy with the service. So far they've done well for me and we're almost done with them. Working with Freedom Debt Relief has relieved the finances for me so I can do other stuff and don't have to worry about these stressors with paying the bills.

I'm starting to think that this whole experience with FDR is a hoax. They're taking my money on a monthly basis but I can't see it because the client dashboard has been down for maintenance for months. Just ridiculous. I don't understand why it takes months and months for the client dashboard to be maintained. This should have been done at a time when clients didn't need to get on it. I am so done with this company.

Great customer service...very professional and polite... They will explain your plan schedule and let you know how your progress is going. They also have patience explaining you how the plan will work and how long could it take for you to resolve your debt situation.

Freedom has a great team and very knowledgeable. Any questions I have they can answer them. They are there to help you resolve your issues. I feel comfortable talking to them. They make easy to understand the process, also the app let you check your status and they send you emails to keep you updated.

The customer service rep was very kind and helpful. She provided all the information, and explained it to me. The only issue I had, was trying to understand what she was saying. I have a hard time understanding people from other countries.

They help you to bring your creditors up to date..in a timely manner. They also keep in touch with you when they are ready to close a deal with your creditors.. You also will have a client dashboard to see your account.

So far my experience has been good. I am gaining trust in the process, even when it makes me nervous about the letters and calls I receive from the debt collectors. I have taken all of the learning information and have put that information into my daily life.

FDR was very encouraging. I told them what I've been going through and they said they could help me. They said that it's generally a four-year program and I would be just done with it all. It sounded good to me and then, I increased what they had said my payments could be. From the very first one, I went online and increased it by more than $200 so I'm gonna be done the end of this month. I called them and they said that they needed another $10 and it would be completely done.

Service is okay. Definitely helping with my debt. No complaints there. The portal has issues with uploading documents. I get a message saying success, but they say they don’t get them. Also if you call customer service close to closing time. It seems they just pick up and hang up. Usually a baby crying in the background.

The process of signing up was easy. I wish though I did not have to go thru all the calls from debtors. Being disabled, it is a challenge for me to deal with them… Some calling many times a day. Would be nice to have this taken care of by you. Disabilities cause a person to react and perform/differently. Coping skills are different…

I am very satisfied with this program and the service provided. Staff I have talked to are very patient and explained how this process works and who my credit will eventually build back. They have already established a contract with one of the creditors and reduced the amount by half and this one will be paid off in approximately three months.

When I had any questions was easy to get someone to respond and explain or answer any questions that I have.

Very friendly and efficient. Listened to my needs and did not pressure me. Great job explaining the program and how it works as well as the final outcome with my credit report. Provided reassurance that even though the credit report would take a hit initially, that in the end it would be better than where I started.

Getting clear from debt is never easy, I've tried several times with several different services... This one seems to stick. I've had issues with my bank at times, and these folks are willing to not just give up at the first sign of issues. One Step at a time, and one problem at a time solved then we move to the next. I'm happy with the results so far. I would like to see the settlements move a little faster but I know it takes having the funds available also and takes time. I would have thought that the smaller accounts would have been negotiated by now.

This program is ridiculously long and drawn out to get results...ugh. 3 years for a handful of accounts. Not even the biggest debts are included. I know of two or three other programs with half the length. Please save your time and money!
