FDR has reduced my credit card debts by thousands of dollars. They have the experience, reputation, process and tools to negotiate a lower balance on credit card debt. I have been enrolled since 2019 and I am very close to graduating from this program. I like the process and how Freedom Debt Relief did it. They were concerned and patient. They explained everything and worked with me and my debts - the ones that I should and could include. They told me about the percentage and terms and it sounded good. The only thing I had a concern about was the fee. I didn't know there was gonna be a fee.

I like the service and help to set up the program, only thing is I wish they will be able to cover accounts less than 500.00 and personal loans that has 12 months or less on payments, fees are reasonable and they are good working with lenders and creditors.

Everyone I have spoken to has been very friendly and knowledgeable, also they treated me with respect! They understood my situation, also explaining to me everything that this program will do to help me and also how to speak to creditors and what to say.

You guys charge more in Settlement fees. Anything else? Whatever money you didn’t save us on our credit cards. You charge it in settlement fees. If I knew how easy it is to get a settlement with a credit, and I would not use this program.

I called one day to get information about using FDR and the representative was excellent at explaining everything and answering all my questions. It went so good that I decided to go with them. They have released a lot of stress and I’m glad I went with them.

Would of liked a call to let me know how everything is going. No calls at all from you at all. I am very disappointed and wonder if this was worth it? The website does not say much other than it is being worked on.

My expectation was that my creditors would have be notified within a week after I signed up. And I also I thought that Freedom was more like a loan whereas I would be paying you for the loan (on which this was explained). So, what I am doing is paying Freedom to pay my bills once I give you enough monies to do so. And in the meantime I getting raw deal. I have to look for another home but can't cause messed up my credit score has been killed.

Very easy process to sign up. Definitely eased my stress of trying to remember what I had to pay and when. Stressed, over budget and struggling. FDR gives you're an opportunity to pay your bills off in less time by reducing the amount of interest you're paying. It's not like you're going to pay off your debt you are. It's just an option that's affordable. It makes life a lot easier.

I have only been with them a very short time but I have to say this. They are awesome people to work with so far. I am not that great with finances but they helped me to understand this process every step of the way. They have made it all very simple and easy to follow. Every payment I make each month I can add money when I have extra whenever I want to which helps speed the settlement dates. If I have questions or am just unsure I did the right thing customer service is extremely kind and helpful at ensuring I did it all just right. I am more than pleased with the help they provide. They have lifted a huge burden off my shoulders.

At First I was a little skeptical on the way we had to let things go in order to get out from under the high interest rates and how it hit the credit score, but I realize it was getting hit anyhow just go along with the experts they know what they are doing. FDR was worth every penny spent for fees to get the job done. It was not easy by no means but it became easy along the way.

I need something showing me results of my money going somewhere. I have been out of work for two years and my wife and I went through our savings paying bills and surviving making debt to pay debt. Very nice people and easy to work with. They will listen to your needs and help you anyway possible. Such a relief when we signed up with them. They handle everything and we just have to say yes or no.

Getting set up was very easy and they worked with me. We set up a payment plan was within my budget range and when I got laid off, we had to lower it for six months. Also, they handled one account that went to court for me. The only issue that I really had is they gave me a payoff date and it extended past that date. But other than that, I would recommend FDR.

Unfortunately this is my second time being a customer with Freedom but knowing that they helped my husband and I the first time we are so pleased with the way they help people. Very helpful and understanding and patient. The dashboard on website is easy to follow your progress in the program.

I do appreciate what has been done up to this point. Of course I do know it's up to the amount I put in. However, a payment is always taken and I can see the progress steadily being taken care of. I'm grateful for the consistency on my journey to be debt free.

I am very happy with this company so far, as far as reducing my debt but I noticed their fees after each settlement are steep and not having a system when their customers experience hardships a must! I feel that that needs to be revised because this day and time life happens! Also a reduction or adjustments in monthly fees near the end.

Updated on 11/22/2023: Easy to understand and approve settlements. Great customer service, and when lawyer was needed, got in contact right away to ensure everything was getting resolved in a timely manner. Could not be happier with this service, and the FDR Dashboard is easy to view the status/progress of past/current/upcoming settlements. Very happy and would recommend to friends/family. Only downfall with any Debt Consolidation company is that your score will drop significantly until you can rebuild. Better alternative than filing bankruptcy IMO.

I had barely made my first payment into the program and Freedom Debt Relief landed my first settlement. The process for accepting is very convenient - you can use the online portal or just do it from your phone. I'm very impressed and I know I've made the right decision!

FDR has had zero communications with my creditors and they are placing me into (charge offs) in 2 weeks. Not what I signed up for. FDR is taking my money at large sums every paycheck but not willing to even communicate with me on their contact with my creditors?

I just started with this company so I cannot give a bigger rating. But I have had a good experience with Eugene. The first agent never returned my call or email. I hope that what I was told will be a good thing after everything is settled.

Larry has been amazing and he checks in with me weekly to let me know how the progress is going. I know I can contact him anytime by text or email without having to spend time on the phone. It's been a wonderful experience so far.

Updated on 06/20/2023: They provided lots of information about what was expected to happen with my debts and where they were in the process. They were extremely responsive and courteous to my online inquiries and questions. They quickly got me my first settlement and closed the account to my satisfaction. Their customer dashboard was very easy to use and chock full of information about what was going to happen and how to deal with creditor calls,

It’s unclear whether credit card card debt unpaid which causes higher debt due to interest accumulated over time will be resolved as well as the debt accumulated when I applied. Is the higher debt forgiven or written off is unclear. I applied because I had already maxed out my three credit cards.

I was hesitant to contact FDR until I saw the ratings they’ve received. The representatives were helpful & down to earth. They took me thru each step ever so patiently, I truly know it was the right move with FDR & felt a huge relief afterwards. Looking forward to a continued journey to financial freedom.

I was pleased at how helpful they were and being able to quell my worries for now. The gentleman that I spoke with was very reassuring that I could do this. I am anxious to see if it all works on my favor.

I would like a little more clear timeline when I can expect you to start making contact with my creditors. City bank is calling 4 or 5 times a day plus a few written contacts. It doesn't need to be exact but just so I know when to expect it.

I have had excellent experience so far. I am looking forward to the positive results. I hope to be debt free within the next 24 months. I hope that I can become debt free over that period of time. The future will determine that.

All questions were answered in a timely manner. I have recommended your services to a few people and will continue to do so. I truly appreciate how well you all handled things and would not hesitate to tell anyone what a great program you have.

First settlement was GREAT, didn't get charged a lot of fees, BUT FROM there on SETTLEMENT FEES were TOO MUCH. If I knew I was going to pay that much I WOULD of looked for another company to help me, so MISTAKE I MADE WITH FREEDOM was not ASKING FOR a FEE SETTLEMENT PRICE beforehand as the company JACKS UP THE PRICE IN FEES, it makes you kind of wonder if they are OVERCHARGING YOU!

The whole process was very easy and they are very efficient. I would definitely recommend Freedom for your credit needs. I find them to be knowledgeable and supportive. Freedom Debt Relief has put my mind at ease. I give them 5 stars!

I am truly blessed I stumbled upon this program. I never saw the light at the end of the tunnel, and to be honest I still don't but knowing that I am getting the help required to pay off my debit is a true blessing and lesson all in one. The downside about this program is that it does take time to full get through negotiations, but I do understand completely. If I were to get into debit again, which I will not because this has taken a huge toll on my health and my family's, but if it were to happen again, I would most definitely go with FDR to help me out of it. Updated on 11/17/2023: I was scared at first. My credit dropped to 400 immediately and phone calls wouldn't stop. Definitely thought I did the wrong thing. It's not even a year into it and everything has come full circle. Credit is still getting better, calls have almost stopped. Y'all do exactly what you say and it works!!

I’m being blown up by credit card companies and they all say they haven’t heard from you.. I would have thought y’all would have communicated with all of them and shared with me that info to so all on same page.. But nothing.

I am so happy about Freedom Debt Relief, I have had some hardship and have fallen behind and can't pay my credit card bills on time. Freedom Debt Relief has given me the opportunity pay my creditors in one lump sum. I also love the bi-weekly payments which makes it affordable.

I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Non-Hormonal Breast Cancer June 2022 and have been undergoing 4 surgeries, chemotherapy & radiation therapy. So far so good! I can appreciate getting this debt off my back. The staff are very informative and patient with me and my many many questions. I was very hesitant to get started with the company. After being on the phone with the rep for about 2 hours, I was more comfortable and ready to get the process started.

Being that I just started the program, I need more time to say how I feel about the program. I really do not like this part because like I mentioned I just got started on this program. Asked me comments like this further into the program. Thank you.

We did this same program a few years back and didn't have this useless script for creditor calls. We were told at the time to switch our info with our creditors to FDRs address and phone. This worked great. Now, you expect us to field 20 - 30 calls a day while you do your behind the scenes thing. Please listen to your clients when we say they are RELENTLESS with phone calls. They sometimes call every 15 minutes if you don't answer, NEVER leave messages, and ignore everything you say in the "script". They want to know when you're going to pay them, and why not now - that's it. They don't notate anything you say, it's just recorded as "contact made - refused to pay" (a particular creditor told me exactly this). I now regret going with FDR since I wasn't aware the rules had changed. At least if I'd have gone with Bankruptcy, the phone calls would have stopped.

My assigned representative has been not communicating wih me and left me feeling lost in this whole process. I really dislike her service and wish for a new assigned representative. I have had good communication with customer service. They were very helpful when I needed to cancel a particular enrolled debt. I was promised that I have complete control of the account only to find out all of the actions in the system are blocked and I must contact an agent. This was not what was promised when first starting with Freedom credit.

I really don’t understand how this whole process is going to work because I got letters from my creditors saying that the ACH is it stopped, but they still tried the pool yesterday which I got a bank fee for which I don’t appreciate that. So I guess I’m gonna have to call my bank and put a stop payment on all my creditors that I have on contract.

It's been a good experience so far. I'm glad to have some help with resolving my debt accounts. I look forward to getting all of these debts settled and go on to be better at managing my debt and credit in the future.

I was very hesitant at first to do this program. I've never made any late or missed payments but it just didn't matter. I wasn't getting anywhere with the minimum payments and the high interest. FDR was able to answer all my questions and put my mind at ease. I'll be out of debt a ton sooner than if I was to just keep making my minimum payments. It's pretty nerve-racking at first to just stop paying all your bills and the phone calls start rolling in but if you follow their guidelines and do what they say it does work out. My debt collection calls slowed down so what after speaking with them.

I only gave 4 stars because I am frustrated, someone can't get back to me re- A loan offer. I have been contacted a couple of times. The first offer I just said no. I am getting very close to the end of this program. I do not wish to drag it on 10 more yrs. I want an interest rate, if I would be accepted, how long the loan would be, I get offers all the time. I do not wish to fill something all out, and then find the answers I'm looking for.

If you are very patient do what is told, able to deal with creditors who have probably already been blowing up your phone anyway eventually you will start to see the change. Much like everything else in life if you are patient your patience will be rewarded.

They set up a amount on when they would take payment out and my payment stayed the same for 4 years. All I needed to do is make sure money was in account. They did the rest. Best thing I ever did. Yeah it messes with credit in beginning but it goes back to normal. I bought a new car while on it with good interest too. Thank you Freedom for helping me.

You’ve really screwed up my life financially, socially and emotionally. I thought you were a sensible and real helper. Instead you took me for a ride and Let you do it for over 2 years. I have to say you make it lol great but you are just sucking the life out of poor people. I will find a way out. After two years of outrageous settlement fees you drop me to get a loan with a branch of your company that charged crooks interest. So I came in with $34000 and now I have a $24000 loans that when I am done to pay it will be close to $48000.

I am still in Freedom Debt. They keep in touch and I got out of work and they still help me to make lower payment. I’m thankful and would refer them for help with credit cards. What I owed has been lower to half of what it was.

Freedom Debt Relief has always been very congenial, helped us whenever we needed it. We don't have the credit card debt. And no interest is added every month. It was a five-year plan. At our age, we didn't know if we would make it through, but we did.

The employees of Freedom Debt Relief are very helpful considerate customer ordinated you. Making things understandable. Sometimes I have to ask second time so to make a decision but they're always helpful no matter how long it takes. Discover Card made an agreement with us for two cards. The lawyers for Discover only sent signature paperwork for one of the two cards. We signed what was sent but didn't know we were missing a form. The Discover lawyers then made a court date regarding the non signed agreement. I repeatedly called Freedom Debt Relief asking questions and asking for help. If Freedom Debt had called Discover on my behalf, when I had requested, I wouldn't have missed a court date. Very disappointed in the handling of this card.

I'm not one who likes to review companies. I will however let you know that you are doing a great job with my debt management and I do appreciate it. I'm very grateful for your assistance with my situation and I'm working daily to get this paid off. Thank You.

The reps from Freedom Debt Relief are great. I call them and they're very helpful. They negotiate for me. They have settled one thing, and they're on the verge of settling two more. I had five altogether.

It was been great so far. Everyone has been nice and very helpful. I have been able to understand everyone I have spoken to and that means a lot to me. They have explained everything I have asked. Always there when I call. Never have to wait on hold very long.

I appreciate all the help in getting my debt under control. It is making my life easier to live. I don't have to worry about the calls and depression of the worries of making it thru this credit card debt, alone.

My experience has been good. There was a lack of communication in one instance and I kept getting phone calls but it was finally taken care of. Also I do feel that you are double dipping with charges for negotiation and then charging interest for the loan. Still feel relief that my credit will start to improve.

This company is amazing. They told me within 2-3yrs all my cards would be settled. When I tell you it’s been less than a year and most of my cards are settled and my credit score is going back up it really is. This has been an amazing experience. I truly appreciate the work and effort put forth to get my credit down.

You suppose to settle for less than the total amount, but you settled for the total amount owed, plus I have to pay you monthly fees, and settlement fees that you never negotiated. I don't need you for that. I'm really mad about this.

Your negotiation are slow... I have been in the program for a year and still getting NASTY calls... Several things have go to collections and you have not done anything to stop it. I think we may have to go with bankruptcy. There is no other hope....

Updated on 02/28/2023: This has changed my life and allowed me to get rid of all of my bill anxiety! With an affordable monthly deposit, FDR manages all of my bills! They do the negotiating with my creditors and ask me to authorize it. The phone calls and dunning letters have stopped! THANK YOU! FDR

This program cost 10k more than FDR ‘estimated’. If I ever had an issue the ‘on phone’ reps were always extremely nice but hardly effective in resolving the issue. If they said they would call back, it was a lie. I had 5 accounts with a 51k total balance owed. FDR told me they could settle for 41k, all inclusive of their fees. It ended up costing me over my 51k balance by the time I finished and I ‘graduated’ 11 months early. I ‘probably’ could have negotiated for less and been done sooner…. All in all I’m out of credit card debt, sooo….

Freedom Debt Relief has done an excellent job helping me with my debts. I was able to view everything that they were doing on my dashboard. They would send email for what is taking place with my account. Yes I would recommend you to contact Freedom Debt relief for help.

I called and changed my number. I get emails about things but never about my accounts.. I’ve been depositing money in.. and some I had to go out of the companies way to just start payments. I’ve tried and emailed the person in charge. Nothing.

If this is an option you choose, FDR is extremely clear, consistent and reliable for their program. It works exactly as intended and customer service is always informative as well as friendly. It’s a scary thing to be in debt but this program allows for a clean slate, just make sure you understand the program and FDR provides all the resources.

They are charging fees for debt you can get reduced on your own for free, basically you still end up paying mostly the same amount for the debt once FDR adds their fees into the equation. You can call the collectors yourself and they will reduce your balance for free without any fees.

I just want to start off and say that FDR changed my life. I was drowning in debt to the point that I couldn’t sleep. I was financially irresponsible when I was younger and I knew I had to do something about it. As I was scrolling on Instagram I came across FDR at first I was hesitant but boy did it change my life. They never minced words... they explained the process so I understood well and it went just as they explained. Your credit score will lower since you can't make payments in enrolled debt but it does bounce back. They were able to add debt I find after my program started. You can make extra payments to store up the process as well. I hope to never need their service again but I'm happy it was available when I needed it most.
