Very helpful and I hope it all works out the way it was explained to me. Sounds like a great program for people that are going through some rough times and I hope that it can all work out for me and I can get along with the rest of my life and not to mention lower my mental state.

I am pleased with the the progress that has been made in getting my credit cleaned up. FDR has done and is doing what they say they would do. FDR is a respectable company. The Agents when I call are very courteous and know their job. I have a ways to go but I do see a positive light at the end of this Tunnel.

This company has been great. They help and do as much as they can to resolve issues. Life is stressful enough with piles up bills. FDR has helped take a lot of that stress away. Even when Covid happened and money was tight FDR was very reasonable and understanding. 100% recommend.

I had amazing advice and help. The representative I worked with was so down to earth, knowledgeable, and caring. This program is a lifesaver. I can enjoy my life again and not feel the load of my bills. I like that I can still pay my debt but in a reasonable way. I recommend this program to anyone who needs help getting out of debt.

To be honest I don't really know how much debt I started with but I've noticed a lot of my deposits are going towards settlement fees rather than the debt and the actual settlements. I've deposited more than $3500 but my debt payoff is only around $700.

This has been somewhat good. Yes they did negotiate mate debt, yes they did make payments as recorded. However, they charged far greater than I was originally told, or signed agreement stated. I find I have been charged fees every month that do not go down but keep increasing. This is not good. My scores took a major crash then have been slowly returning. But only after the reported debt has been removed or derogatory note from the creditor has been recorded. At that I have had to place a note on my reports explaining the debt.

It has been a load off my shoulders. I’m paying my debt, but not having to decide who gets paid which week & not writing out checks. It takes a lot of stress away. Having them deal with the creditors & taking care of everything. The money comes out of my account each month. It’s like gone away. Very Thankful for this service.

I was concerned about how to deal with collection calls, and I was encouraged in a positive way to how to deal with the calls. The person I spoke with was very helpful, and so far I have had a good experience dealing with your staff.

Everyone that I've ever spoken to was helpful, kind and made me feel good about clearing my situation and I truly felt positive about what was going on. That was definitely better than how I was making myself feel. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone in need. It was recommended to me and I'm very thankful.

FDR really helped me to solve my credit cards debt problem. At first, it didn't look very appealing and I even got annoyed that the process was too slow and lower-value debts were handled. Later, however, it turned out that this strategy made sense and now I am close (1 year) to the end of my repayments.

I have been with FDR for 3 years and only 1 more year to go. They have done everything that was discussed with me at the beginning of the program and I’m finally close to the end of paying off my debt which I had unfortunately allowed to be quite substantial. They communicate with you and update you on a regular basis. I don’t know what I would have done without them!

As hard as I tried to do this on my own, I was making no progress. I. Felt like I was walking backwards at times. I was very overwhelmed and frustrated. With their help I am done in November. It feels great to know I will be done.

I was told by FDR enrollment representatives that I needed to stop paying and build up for dedicated account. They would then negotiate settlements with smaller amounts because the dedicated account would have enough to pay those smaller amounts. Well they did the exact opposite. They settled my largest account so they could collect over $2K in settlement fees. I had a lawsuit brought against me. I sent in the forms, I uploaded the documents. They told me their law firm McCarthy Group would negotiate and handle those legal matters. Well Now my wages have been garnished because a $600 debt was not settled which they have known about for almost a year! My only saving grace was to consolidate these into a loan and pay them all off, which I have done. This company is a joke and a scam.

Very disturbing. All was going well, settled my first couple accounts, then hit a wall. I was taken to court and had a wage garnishment issued by 1 of the accounts, which Freedom would not resolve. Second issue, they were very quick to withdraw settlements fees on their own behalf, could have paid off other accounts much faster and had more money in my deposited account. Would not recommend dealing with them. Contact the accounts directly, they are more willing to work with you.

This is my first time consolidating. These groups of professionals are lifesavers, I struggle for 10 years trying to make all my payments on time and debt keep increasing. I felt lost, not moving forward at all. I talk about my experience to everyone I know. Thank you.

I think the program is great and everyone has been so nice and helpful, but the only thing that doesn’t get 5 stars is the fees that are charged. Monthly fees charged and your settlement fees are as much as the money they saved you. You aren’t really saving much unless you call your creditors yourself and try to negotiate your debt. I wish that they would try and settle as much debt as possible before they take their cut. Your program would fly by a lot faster.

Everyone has been very helpful. Whenever I send information from my creditors it is acknowledged in a timely manner. When I have a problem it is taken care of with consideration and empathy, I am happy with the way my credit has been handled. I am very pleased with Freedom Debt Relief

Thank you FDR for assisting me with my personal financial matters and helping me to pave my way into financial freedom. I would like to thank the agent I work with, David **. He's been helpful when we started the process and has been a wonderful point of contact to work with.

Because of the great and timely experience I have had with FDR I would definitely recommend them to a friend. Not only are they a understanding company that works with you on my aspects they also make you feel comfortable in your time of dealing with them and for those reasons I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

I came to Freedom Debt Relief with about $15k in debt and was completely overwhelmed by payments. With two consolidated payments per month, I am able to take back control of my finances and work towards long-term goals. FDR has not gotten good settlements, on average, as it pertains to the original enrolled debt. The settlements that FDR are negotiating for me, including the FDR fees, are well above 50% of the original enrolled debt. This is unacceptable and sad. Further, I have found that FDR is useless as it pertains to any creditor filing a lawsuit to recover the amount of the debt.

The service provided by FDR was phenomenal with amazing customer service and they were able to answer every question I had in a very detailed explanation so that there were not any questions unanswered or doubts to their capabilities. I would recommend to family and friends.

They have been very helpful and answered all my questions. They explain the who process. Also given me example of what to say when creditors call me that have been very helpful. The communication between me and the service representative.

So far, customer service has been top notch! All of my concerns were addressed in a timely manner. My representative, Joel, was very personable. A pleasure to work with. Any time I’ve had a question I would just text him and he would always respond. Anytime I want to see what’s going on with my accounts I can always count on Dashboard to be updated with all the current info. The cost for the program settlement to lawyer's was a unexpected amount to close my case. There was slow process for settlement. I got notice from NFCU in June 2022 it took FDR until March 2023 to take action. The lawyer was prejudicing, "you haven't pay yet. You probably won't have it within the next week."

The person I spoke with on setting up my debt relief plan stated that we would be done with the program and ready to buy a house in a very short time frame. 3 years later I am still working through the program and I am still a few years away from completion. We have made too much progress to quit now but I am blatantly lied to as far as how long this process would take.

Freedom Debt Relief has really good customer service. They stayed in contact with me during the whole thing. Whenever I had a problem, I could talk to them about and they would fix the problem. I would reach out to them mostly through email. The people working with me acted like they knew what they were doing. I'm already three years into the program and I still have two more. Freedom Debt Relief does the job. It helps get everything settled and I like their flexibility. They allow me to split my payment in half in a month, rather than doing it all in one payment. I'm getting my debts settled and I would be done now if it wasn't for COVID where I had to take some money out. But after that, I built it back up and it looks like I'll be done by the start of the year. It was easy making changes to the plan and I'm thinking about making another change now to spread my payments out a little bit.

They are helpful and make sure you understand every part. As you go through the process they help keep you on track. There's never a what do I need to do next. They handle everything after you get them what they need.

FDR has been easy to work with. They have a good staff. They explained everything relatively clearly in terms of what their service was and what my responsibilities would be. They also deliver what they promise. The program's definitely worked. I've been able to negotiate some debt that I've owed. I've been relentless and disciplined in making sure that I keep the account fully financed to slowly do it. It's just taken a little longer than I thought it would. But we're getting there and we're almost done. The only thing that I didn't like was when they said, "Don't pay any more partial payments. You gotta let it expire and then we'll go in and negotiate the settlement."

The reps very quickly got everything together and came back with numbers, and they were very organized. The program worked very well and we’re just about paid off. Working with Freedom Debt Relief helped us get some of our stuff taken care of and back on track. They're a very easy company to work with and has very good service.

This process was hard for me to engage with at first because I am very conscientious about paying everything on time. I was careful about what I enrolled. Kept some of my oldest credit accounts intact to keep reporting positive and docs in. My scores were pretty low through the process but increased quickly at the end. I am back in the “good range” and saved so much in interest as well as principal in predatory loans.

About a year later I found out that the account I thought was paid in full because you stopped taking money out of my bank account was in fact not paid. You did not notify me when payment was stopped of any problems in getting money from my bank account. True my phone number changed but you failed to contact me by mail. I see no excuse for this. I am very disappointed in your handling of my account.

I am very pleased with how quick the settlement process is going. I am especially appreciative of the access to legal help when someone filed a claim. Not only did the lawyers jump right on it, they settled without having to go through a long drawn out battle. I highly recommend this company.

I hate this program, all they do is take your money and you end up paying way more money for your debt. They don’t help you with any of your problems. I would not recommend for them to anyone. It's if they don't care!!!

Updated on 01/24/2024: Ever since I started with Freedom Relief program about a year ago they had been getting me settlement plans and they have been very reasonable. The people of very nice, very kind and they don't talk down to you. They literally help you.. They send you email once a month to let us know where we're at when they make a settlement they email you and they also text you.

Very happy with the progress FDR has made on my debt. It went faster than I expected and the settlements made were very good. Everyone that I spoke with were very professional and knowledgeable, I was kept well informed of all settlements made.

I was excited to have help getting myself back out of the hole I ended up in. When everything was explained it was made to sound like I would be able to afford my bills and the payment and I am finding that I have a -300 budget while buying only the basics in food and borrowing money for gas until I can find a second job. I am added up my new budget and it was not in line with what was proposed even though I input all my details correctly. Feel like I am still very much stuck in a hole.

I was so glad when I found FDR and the man I spoke with provided me peace of mind and instant relief. I should have known better. What other people have said is true. I just got off the phone with a representative from "Leadership" (and I use that term loosely!). I thought a supervisor would be able to help me better, and boy was I wrong.! I told them that I couldn't afford my $724 last month and reduced it to $600. I continually receive messages telling me that my program is in jeopardy! What I heard told to me multiple times on the phone when I signed up is that FDR takes their fees LAST... which is total crap. I am told that I don't have enough money in my account because of my shortfall because FDR took THEIR MONEY!!! So far, they've taken more than I've made in settlement payments!

Good job. Nothing to complain. Every time they sent email to me I call them and they respond right away. I need them do more better because they take for me little bit longer. I believe now you guys go And draw me seven debt done already. I don’t need to pay anymore correct. Can you let me know. Thank you.

Graduation date, I was Told from the start that it would take a couple years two years. Well now I am three or four years into it and still have two years left to go it makes no sense to me. I’ve spent over $11,000 so far and I’m not even halfway there? My dept was only 25,000 to begin with? I only make 900 a month and I’m giving you 1/2 of it. Three more years would be Over 15,000 more which is more than my original debt.

I’ve been able to pay off my debts and get my credit score up, couldn’t be happier. Would recommend Freedom Debt Relief to anyone who is overwhelmed with credit card debt. They definitely fight to get your balance down and all you have to do is pay your monthly agreed payment. Thank you.

If you need to skip one month’s payment, be honest with yourself and with FDR. Make sure you speak with them at least 3 or Perhaps 5 days in advance before the due date, otherwise skipping a payment cannot be done. Unfortunately, I had to skip an occasional payment, and FORTUNATELY, FDR was always there for me.

FDR has taken the load off my mind with one payment a month. I don't have to deal with banks and bill collectors and hassle over settlements. I ran my debts up but am paying them off in an easy manner and hope I learned my lesson with using my credit cards.

Freedom Debt Relief has resolved all of my debt. When I had a problem I called and they connected me with the right group and they took care of everything. My last debt was a credit card and they tried to have me summoned through the court and I spoke with the legal team for Freedom Debt and they told me they would take care of it and for me not to worry. Now my last debt should be settled this month.

Glad they can negotiate when I cannot. That has been a blessing. The process seems slow at times but I know that things are working for my good. I will continue to work with them going forward to achieve results.

My experience with FDR was just ok. It was just ok because no one in customer service is on the same page. I’ve gotten a different answer to the same questions on different occasions. I’ve had my bank overdrawn numerous of times because the rep failed to update my due date due to my pay schedule being changed.

FDR has been awesome with getting settlement deals for my debt. They never candy-coated anything, made me aware that my credit score would dip in the beginning (boy did it ever), but over time, it has gotten back up close to where it was when I started (Even though I have around 3 years left to go!). While I commend FDR for the idea of their program the execution of said program definitely needs some work. It’s incredibly frustrating when they say one thing, and you sign a contract with them but then when it comes to them holding up their end they refuse to. I got the same robot response when I was going through an active lawsuit with one of my enrolled debts, yet in my contract it states they will provide legal aide. However, I had to go get my own lawyer to enforce the contract and get FDR to respond to the law suit. As if paying 10% per settlement and a monthly fee on top of your regular scheduled payments for your enrolled debts wasn’t enough.

I am very happy and more stress free since I acquired Freedom. I made a wise choice, feel safe and comfortable that Freedom has done all the footwork needed to settle my debt. Although bankruptcy was an option I needed to be responsible.

Things have been going ok. All of a sudden I received 2 summons in the mail to report to court as no payments had been made on 2 different cards for 12 months. One card was quickly resolved, the other still not settled. I have another court date in 1 month. I really didn't have any guidance in the matter. I would not suggest the program to others at this time.

When the initial representative went through the process he indicated his email listed his direct line. That is an untruth. My credit cards are current so I believe this may prolong my accounts being delinquent. I haven't been with the program long enough to give a fair rating & review. Representatives are friendly.

Issues setting up signing documents and dashboard, took numerous phone calls, call Ryan over, trying to fix the issue. Took about 2 to 3 days to finalize and up with hours on the phone. I finally figure out myself.

The rep who signed me up seemed to have different answers from the packet I received. I emailed him to clarify so that I could understand the process and not be blindsided by misinformation. Before signing up his communication was prompt and detailed oriented. He assured I can reach out to him for future questions and that he wasn’t “going anywhere.” I’ve sent 2 follow up emails and have heard nothing back.

I had scheduled my first check-up call for yesterday, and no one called me. I did get a call about 6 hours later, but when I answered it no one was there and it hung up. This is not off to a good start....

It’s been a good experience however, very complicated on getting Payoff letters from customer service when in need of one. Not many reps are willing to go the extra mile in information such as this, that should be an option all things considering. That being said, it also takes a very long time to complete this whole process from start to finish. They should also require creditors to send a paid settlement letter for our records in case the creditor happens to not remove item from your credit report as it happened in to me, it was a tedious process to have to do that myself -given the fact I hired Freedom to take care of issues like this. Other than that, I am almost done with the service provided and it was the best option to fixing my credit at the time of enrollment.

Very misleading, will not work with you at all when you enroll in the program. Wanting more money than agreed upon at enrollment time. Not happy with this company. Will never recommend to anyone ever. I will be glad when I have completed it.

There’s $495 in my dedicated account. While bill collectors continue to trash my credit. Some debts aren’t that much in total. I’m hoping that this will change quickly or we’ll unfortunately have to pull out. Their fees are pretty big too.
