It’s scary at first to trust someone else to handle the communication with other companies to settle your debt as well as watching your credit score go down. But it’s part of the process. They’ve been a company since 2002 and know what to do. I remember the first time being explained how the process works and not being sure at all. But it’s worth it.

It kind of heartwarming and pleasant satisfaction for me to see my very self smiling and excited over all the debt been resolved by FREEDOM DEBT RELIEF. I can not but thank the entire working team who deem it fit to and ensure they brought smile and put end of debt free. In fact you guys a freedom fighter. Thank you all and God bles you all.

To say being in a hardship is an understatement. Freedom Debt Relief has legitimately taken all the stress and panic off of my plate when it comes to negotiating with my creditors. The friendly administrators in the ease of use has made. Any question I've had for concern. Easy to get an answer for!

They explained things and helped me along the way. I was able to pay the debt off, where I was not able to do so on my own. I didn't have debt collectors hounding me anymore. I'm just about completely done this April with the debt that I gave them. It will be a relief.

Need to improve a call from customer service or email to feel more personal support. Try to improve this area, also I don't know when the case is closed with the credit card company when I need to start to pay, myself or from the money I provide to your company every month.

I had a good experience. After a prompt evaluation. I was quickly walked through the account set up, and they addressed my concerns, afterwards, whenever something new came up. I would recommend it to a friend. Also, I might add, the first settlement came up a few weeks soon after the account was setup; quite quickly as well. Good scores overall.

They took way too long to negotiate on my behlaf. I was able to get deals and begin to pay it off. When explained it was explained that they would settle at 50-60% less. They however only disclose thier fee after the fact and the savings seemd to be like 20%. I was able to negotiate and get better deals without having to pay their fee of 20 %. The.

Easy to see what they are doing with your accounts. Great customer service. I'm 3 months in and they already settled one debt for me. They are quick to get back to me. They explain everything to where I can understand step by step. They give you full details about what they are doing.

Freedom Debt Relief has been a lifesaver. After divorce and a cancer diagnosis I was drowning in debt with no end in sight. They explained everything and the process began. I would like to get more alerts on how the negotiations is going. I don't like to be left in the dark about negotiations and the longevity on the payout. I don’t understand why the first account settled will take 4 payments to reach settlement if the funds negotiated is in the account.

Help me get rid of a lot of loan. Will recommend to anybody that I see that having a hard time, hopefully my credit score should be going up too, thank God that I found Freedom Debt Relief to help me out of most of my bill and I trying to get back on track with all these tax and insurance increases it put me in the red.

Updated on 08/21/2024: I have been very very pleased in my relationship with the advisors on my account with Freedom Debt Relief. They are in constant contact with updates, affirmation of correspondence receipt and have been very successful in negotiating my debt reduction. I am extremely pleased with my progress since January of 2024 when I signed with Freedom Debt Relief.

I have some three party come out of my bank account saying they work with you all. No one from this company call or email you back and it take forever to get someone on the phone cause it all automatically gets robots press this button. Not a live person cause there no Button for them.

If I knew what I know now, I would’ve just settled with my bank. For the amount of money I’ve paid, this service is not what I expected. I feel like FDR drags out the process just to gain more money from your dedicated account. If you have fallen behind for medical reasons or job loss and need some assistance, please work with the creditors with whom you have an account with as they will most likely work something out better than FDR. I had one guy call me saying he was with FDR, but he was rude and sort of threatening to me. At this point, I’m unsure when they will stop taking money out of my account. I have enough to settle, but they drag their feet to gain more money. I promise and pray I never have to do this again. EVER. Very dissatisfied.

Great customer service, communication is/was very helpful. This company/staff was SO very helpful through this difficult time & I’m so glad that I used this company!! I am very thankful for Freedom Debt Relief program. They helped me get stated back towards some financial freedom. They've helped me to move quickly to their accelerated program, which will get me moved on and more quickly. Very informative and easily understood staff members. I like that they don't settle any debt account without my consent, which make me upfront on what's going on with my account. And without this program it would be years before I could get these debt accounts paid off.

The person I talked to was a great guy. I’m still not sold on the whole program but will go through with it for a timeframe to see if it is going to work. I’m hearing the fees are high which I wasn’t told much about them. I don’t see them anywhere on the website.

Excellent customer service. The portal is great and very easy to use. Extremely fast service in handling all credit related matters including a very fast settlement offer. Everything has been fine. Problems on my side. Everyone that I have had contact with has been very nice and knowledgeable of their positions. They as department have explained everything and have answered any questions that I have had. I would recommend them to anyone that needs this type of help to get their lives back on track.

Updated on 6/4/2024: So far and just 5 months in I am very pleased with the progress of settling accounts and I do have a large number of them. I have talked with several customer service support persons and they all are professional and helpful. I definitely would recommend Freedom Debt Relief services to persons needing with their cumbersome debts.

It is apparent that I need to simply login to FREEDOM DEBT RELIEF, my account, I guess, and try to communicate this way, because when I try to make a phone call…. It just never works out. I think you need to hire people that know your company and policies a little bit better and can recommend good advice to those of us who are on the other side, stressfully, trying to come up with money for these payments when we have other difficult difficulties. Talking to these most of these individuals on the phone seems to be impossible.

I’m so glad that I found Freedom Debt Relief because I was so stressed about how I was going to continue to pay my credit card min payments that totaled about $1200 a month. I have with been with FDR for almost 3 years now and I don’t have to worry about anything dealing with my credit card accounts, the only things I have to do is make my payment, authorize settlements and stay connected to the client board to see how my account is progressing. I have no idea what is going on but Capital One is getting paid and I'll be done ahead of schedule. What more could I ask for. Except maybe a little clarification of what's up with my account other than it's being paid. You think you could let me know what's up? Maybe.

This organization has been working on my behalf and has done an excellent job in helping me to resolve my problems with my credit issues. They have kept me updated on all steps taken on my behalf during the entire process. Monthly online visits with a counselor are available to advise or answer any questions you may have about your accounts. Would readily recommend them to others.

I was perplexed wondering what I was going to do. I found Freedom Debt Relief and contacted them. They have taken a big load off my shoulders and given me back my sanity. They are doing a great job saving me money. They keep me informed and updated and I really appreciate it.

It's been a rough time with credit score but best way to go. I am relieved that the settlements have been good ones. I am looking forward to the end of my program. This has been an easy process. And I would recommend to others. It's been quick and stress free.

I have just started the program. So eager to see how it goes. I did have to reach back out to the enrollment specialist, for another reason and I felt pushed off to customer service. I felt it was a question for her and when I replied back to her with the explanation, she never replied back. So prayerfully the program goes better.

I had a lot of credit card debt and I was struggling to meet all of the payments so consolidating the credit cards was a great way out for me. The rep explained the entire plan and what my options were and he was very professional along with patient. They also researched and view a great majority of the reviews and I was very impressed after reading them. The rating was very good also for Freedom Debt. I am anticipating and waiting until I graduate from the program.

Updated on 08/11/2024: I’m extremely happy with the service I’ve experienced with FDR. They are pleasant, resourceful and get the job done. I’ve watched my debt dwindle down with regular progress reports they send me. If you are swimming in debt, don’t lose sleep over it, pick up the phone and give them a call. It won’t cost you anything but a minute of your time…. It’s definitely worth it!

When reviewing my updates I noticed a name that I was not familiar with. I was told it was Student loan Corp and not the private loan lender's name. Conversation concluded it must be a federal student loan and knowing FDR doesn't represent those loans I asked for it to be removed. Consequently it was and as my misfortune, within approximately 30 days after the removal I get served. FDR had been negotiating already with the lender based on the lawyers notes. So I was out of luck, out of time and left in the without any recourse.

For MONTHS! I tried and tried to cover just the minimum payments on my cc bills. Nothing was changing & I was just getting deeper. THE DAY I CALLED FDR, was a life changing experience. The FDR staff/angel was the nicest person and helped me. I hung up the phone with him feeling confident and worry free. The best call and choice I ever made. Thank you FDR, FOR EVERYTHING!

FDR told me I could possibly be sued by one or more of my creditors. It happened. I contacted FDR immediately and I was told they would refer me to their attorneys and told not to worry. Within a few days a settlement was reached and problem solved. FDR has resolved all my issues. FDR’s customer service is Grand.

They are the best to deal with. Always on top of everything. When I need to add to my application another client they did so just as soon as I faxed them the correct information. My program is moving along great. What I like they are always encouraging me on ways to shorten my program and finish ahead on my scheduled end date. Great company to work with. Took care of my balances and contacting my creditors. Payments are very reasonable and automatically withdraw from my bank account. I was challenged trying to get someone to consolidate my debt. All responses were debt to income ratio too high. Freedom debt relief walked me through the process and got me started on a rate I could afford. I didn't enjoy all the creditors calling but has since stopped. I was then accepted to achieve loans to finish negotiations for all my debt accelerating my end of the program. I still have only one payment to make. This has been an answer to my debt problem. I tried getting in and it won’t let me!!!! I use a password and it says password not valid, so I try and use the “forgot password“ and it’s supposed to take me to my email.... and it doesn’t !!! Please respond!!! No one also doesn’t respond!!

I would recommend FDR if you're in serious debt, I have team member that is by my side all the time to answer questions. They started right away negotiating with my creditors and did a tremendous job with it. They saved me A LOT of money and credit score started to go in the right direction. It was good and mostly helpful when I call and talk directly to an actual person and they can talk directly back to me. I didn’t really save much money at all just made the payments. Any money saved is basically paid to FDR for managing your money. It worked out well for me.

I am a brand new client so I cannot really rate the program itself, but the customer service is top-tier. I felt supported and heard by the agents I've worked with so far and they have all been knowledgeable and very understanding about my trepidations. This is not something I wanted to do, but it is something I have to do, and everyone at FDR has been wonderful.

I have to let it be known that you may be better off negotiating for yourself versus working with this company-especially if you have an account in debt more than $5k. I had 3 accounts that I needed to fix when I signed up. The first 2 accounts were negotiated & settled with no issue. My final account was the largest debt. Long story short, the account was not truly negotiated. I say that because, when I enrolled the debt was $10k, by the time the account went to collections it increased to $11,679 and the company SUED ME. Literally served with a subpoena. I submitted the subpoena on the dashboard & contacted customer service. I was then told that since the debt is in litigation I would be in communication with McCarthy Law.

FDR has brought me such peace of mind as I navigate My hardship situation. They are totally professional And work hard for their clients. I would refer FDR to anyone who needs to be relieved of their worries and have a company work hard for them and give them peace. I appreciate it all.

This program has been working for me. I’ve seen the effect on my credit rating and it had been what was shared with me. It has helped me better recover from the high inflation and increased interest rates. I’m getting my freedom back and they are helping me do it wisely.

The program that Freedom Debt Relief sold to me has been less than optimal. I find that the additional interest that was added to my credit card balances before Freedom negotiated a settlement, along with the fees Freedom Debt charges every month, added more to my debt than if I had called each creditor independently and tried to reach a settlement on my own. Another issue with the program is the harassment I received telling me a settlement was in jeopardy if I needed to reduce an account deposit due to higher than usual expenses (homeowner insurance premiums, income tax bill, etc.).

I was under the impression that we had to do this and I was quite upset because I wanted to keep my payment that I was told from the beginning. As long as my creditors are happy then so am I. Otherwise then, everything is just fine. I'm happy with my payment and everyone is getting paid.

Updated on 06/08/2024: The whole program was a lifesaver to me. I was surprised of how fast they were able to settle with my creditors and for how much they settled the accounts. They were also able to refer me for a loan with Achieve so that my debt could be paid off with 5 years or sooner if I made larger payments.

They negotiate my credit account down to half of what I owed. Pay them off as I build my funds in their account. It takes longer to get to the higher balances so they continue to be delinquent for approx 6-12 mos but hoping those are even lower to payoff by the time we reach settlement stage. That's the only downside.

I am somewhat satisfied with the progress but believe you could do a better negotiation with reduction and also believe you charge a little too much for what you have done so far. You should not be taking any payments from my account until all my debts are paid off with a significant reduction then and only then should you be paid for your services.

Freedom Debt Relief has been amazing and quick at handling my settlements. They are saving me so much money with the offers they are securing. I would absolutely recommend, and have recommended, FDR services to friends and family. The payment plan is easy to maintain, and overall I am feeling more at ease with handling my debts through FDR.

Updated on 07/29/2024: Finally getting a good start on getting out of debt. Makes it so much better letting someone help. It's been over a year now and I'm getting closer all the time. The hardest thing to do was to not buy anything that I don't need. Thanks for all your help. Couldn't have done it without your help. I would tell anyone that needs help to contact y'all.

I am glad that I found Freedom Debt Relief because the financial issue was terrible strain on my financial and mental well-being. It's great to work with a company that does exactly what they mean. Freedom debt relief has been available when I had questions. Especially, when the bill collectors started calling daily and mailing letters to me.

Easy to communicate and resolve credit issues. Customer service is always there to help. My past experience with Freedom was excellent. I would definitely recommend to others. From beginning to end flawless. If you have too much debt and need help, this is the place to go bar none. I would never use anyone else. I've had a good experience so far, I did provide 4 stars as my graduation date keeps getting pushed back further and further than what I was initially told, despite the fact that I have removed a few accounts off the debt list and I increased my payment a little bit.

I'm not going to lie. I was very skeptical at first and scared to give it a shot. But everyone was so helpful and friendly and they really helped explain everything to me where I understood and was able to get it all taken care of. I even got to advance in my program and get it taken care of faster with their partner achieve. I am very grateful for their help!

I have requested numerous times to change my monthly payment. 271.00 is not affordable for me at the present time. To date no help. 125.00 would be within my budget. So unhappy with FDR. I am seriously looking into other alternatives to help me with my debt. At my age I really don't need credit. Just trying to do the right thing in my last years.

It was not explained very well about the way this program works. I was under the assumption this was a debt consolidation loan company, and this was "confirmed" upon my start-up call. It wasn't until after we were already enrolled and made multiple payments that the program was actually explained to us. This is not a loan. They use the money you pay in to "settle" your debts and then pay them as the money is available. We were also told if we needed to miss a payment, to give them a call, and we could miss one payment without repercussions. Not so.

I called Freedom Debt Relief because I needed help. Very Easy to do. The gentleman that he helped me was very professional. He understood what I was going through. He made sure that I know everything before we got off the phone. He didn’t make me feel bad, he keep telling that everybody has hard time. That’s why I’m here.

I don't think I can give a full 5 stars until I finish this process. So far though the person who set my account and program up was great! I'm not sure if I realized how the fees worked but my negotiations seem to be going well and my debt is decreasing card by card. I do like having only 2 payments a month. Going rogue on my bills was odd.

Pretty happy with the outcomes so far but the settlement fees are pretty high. I do appreciate the work you guys have done one of my cards are still good but learning about the process it seems like I could have done this my self and saved a few dollars in process.

I'm not happy that it went into collections. They were willing to settle but no communication as far as I know. The collection company has been calling constantly. Can someone contact them because I was told not to speak to them. Do y'all need the name and contact person. What else can I say. CareCredit is resolved and happy with that. Discover card I have no information on progress for this debt.

Excellent; They explain what they are doing to help me solve my debt problem and keep me informed at all times. They are very supportive by emails and on the phone. Everyone I have spoken with is kind, informative and wonderful. They don't mind that I call and ask questions.

They have been able to get FDR to get my credit under control. My credit score is starting to come back from the damage I caused it. I just wish we could get arrangements made on my current credit cards so they would stop calling me. I am very happy other wise I would refer the services to anyone.

Our debt had become overwhelming, and we were drowning financially. From the beginning, the team at FDR was very clear about how the program would impact our finances—and everything they told us turned out to be true. One of the biggest reliefs was moving to a single, lower monthly payment. We’re now in the final stretch of the program and expect to finish next year, in 2027. While our credit did take a major hit at first, we committed to the process, and it has steadily improved. Over the past year alone, my credit score has increased by 100 points.

This company is Great! All my debts were negotiated in a timely manner and each debt was reduced by 50% or more! I've been very pleased with Freedom Debt Relief. They have saved us from bankruptcy. And the incredible thing is during the process of them settling our debt, our score is going back up! Byron was great to work with - since setting up the payment account, there have been some snafus where it says that it is suspended for non payment but the first payment isn’t due until January 12th and it is autopay. Otherwise, it’s been helpful. They give you all the tools to be successful and learn better money practices.

Freedom Debt Relief was able to reduce my monthly Debt by 1/2. This allowed me some breathing room and stopped the phone calls. Updated on 08/12/2024: I'm impressed the way my debts are being negotiated with the creditors. In a short one year, FDR was able to resolve 2 debts down to 50% less than the actual balance. I'm hoping to resolve remaining debts within the next year. I recommended FDR to anyone whose debts are out of control to let the professionals handle it for you.

After I entered into the program it was taken care of without any issues or concerns. I was kept informed of the progress and felt totally confident that everything was being taken care. Also I never received any pressuring phone calls or letters from creditors. I am so thankful for them taking the worries off of me and helping me get through the process.
