My biggest criticism is the timing between what I was told vs. what actually occurred for negotiations to begin with creditors. I was told that I could expect to start to see negotiations within the first month and in fact, my first negotiation only occurred last week, more two months enrolled in the program. When I called in to ask about the status, the agent that answered didn't even know how long I'd been enrolled in the program.

I called last week and talked to a lady which I don’t know her name but she was very helpful for the advice I was asking for. I had to go back to my old phone and I needed help downloading my Dash Board and she went out of her way to help me get it set back up.

Thank you for such an easy process to get my debt under control. Great company and excellent customer service! FDR has helped me get back on track to bring debt free without having to worry about all the minimum payments. I’ve already had a great settlement in the first 3 months!

Was cautious and unsure of this program. I figured my financial situation couldn’t get worse so I leaped in with my eyes closed hoping for the best. After the initial enrollment, it was a little difficult to find the right number and time to reach someone about the next steps. So far the process is fairly easy. The client dashboard is very super friendly. The follow up has been very informational for how to navigate through the rest of the program.

So far they have done exactly what they have promised and we seem to be on the way to consolidating all of my debt. I hope to restore my credit back to what it was when this is all finished. Results are happening very quickly tho. They respond quickly to my questions and are very helpful.

I was not told it could take up to 120 days to contact just one creditor. I thought within 90 days all my creditors would at least be contacted. Some of these creditors won't even be contacted for a year. If I would have known this I probably would not have entered the program.

I am paying off my past due bills. That is my goal. I would of never been able to pay them without FDR. I would of filed bankruptcy. Thank you for helping with a plan. And someday I will be debt free. Future plan is to build a house. And now if will be possible after I am debt free.

So far it's great and they are really helpful. The program has help me make decent payments every two weeks that I can afford. I can not wait until they negotiate to clear my credit payments. I also like the fact that I can add more creditors to clear my credit.

The only problem was that the first time I applied, they told me four years and then the process went up to five years. They were deducting 474 from my Social Security which is a lot of money for me. But thank God I'm done and I can save that 500 month to go for a cruise with my sister-in-law next year. I'm so happy.

The reps were very honest and knew what they were talking about. We started the program right away after the phone call. I’m in the last year now and I’m happy. Freedom Debt Relief helped me out a lot because COVID knocked me for a loop, as far as work goes. I missed so much work and the credit card bills were too much to handle. So, I had to do something.

I'm not getting the right answers. It should not take months to get this done. I was told the second week of this month that I should see results around July the 20-21. Now I get an email telling me it may take months before my two credits make a deal. PI have also been told that I don't have enough money in the account. Somebody better get in touch with me. I've even tried to log on and It will not let me. One of my account has no interest, you guys are going to cause me to loss that. Not happy.

So far my experience has been great. Customer service is good. All individuals are very helpful. I am looking forward to being debt free. Only complaint is my dashboard is not working properly. I’ve talked to staff but it has yet to be fixed. I will reach out again to customer service for assistance. Thank you very much.

Updated on 12/13/2023: I am very satisfied with this program. We have already had 10 debts settled in less than a year and we could not be more excited! I recommend this to everyone that asks me if I know a good debt solution program. We have used one previous to this and they never contacted us and I honestly don't remember them even getting anything settled and we paid for them for over a year.

I was carefully walked through the process, which was super simple. I felt like I had no way of ever getting caught up until I contacted FDR. They help get me back on track at a much quicker pace at a much lower payment. I would highly recommend them to anyone who feels like they will never get ahead or even caught up.

The creditor calls are stressful, but you just have to trust the process. 20+ year old company with an A+ BBB rating is highly reassuring! Just waiting for some settlement offers now. It is taking time but I feel as though there's a lot of progress being made. It has really made a difference in my everyday life not being hounded by creditors. I know that I've made choices that I've been penalized for, but there's reason to keep beating me down. Thanks for your help.

It’s all a money game. Supposedly they try to work out a deal with these credit card companies. That will never happen because they have already given your debt to a law firm that harasses you with phone calls and letters every week. And Freedom Debt Relief knows that you don’t owe these law firms anything because they didn’t give you the credit card. But in the long run everyone gets a piece of the poor man’s money. They give you 5 years to pay off a small debt, you miss a payment and they make you start all over, a legit scam if you ask me.

We needed counseling and a debt solution, and Freedom Debt Relief (FDR) provided it promptly. Due to health reasons (lost my leg), we suddenly lost income as I was unemployed, and we went through our savings to pay our mortgage and maintain our household. We have been working with FDR since December 2022, and they are systematically knocking down overwhelming debt from credit cards and a personal loan we assumed for our son's high-interest student loan. FDR communicates what they are doing, keeps us in the loop with negotiations, and always asks for our agreement to settle for excellent lower balances than we originally owed. The mental stress is off us, and we no longer receive the collection calls.

FDR has provided me with a way out from under my debt. They are the only company that really understood that due to job loss - debt can creep up on you and make everyday life miserable. They are a great help and have assisted me every step of the way.

Freedom Debt Relief has made the entire process simple to understand and to follow. One of the aspects of this company that I love the most is the constant communication during the negotiations and settlement process. That not including the dashboard which one can open at any time to review which account is being negotiated and the order each account would be handle by FDR.

I have had to send in debt information several times. Some of my debt has still not been added and then they said was already added has a different account number. I'm close to getting another company to do the work. Wells Fargo account has not been added and the Capital One has a different account number.

This program has helped me immensely with my debt and helped me to get in control over my finances again. Everyone is super nice and helpful, I just wish for the occasional follow up. But overall, Excellent! I went from paying over $500 a month on minimum payments alone to an easier bi-weekly payment that has freed up a lot more of my paycheck.

My only issue I have is that I wish it could be done faster. I understand I can put more money into it, that's not what I'm talking about. Money aside, it feels as if it will take 3-4 years to complete the program. When I first signed up, I was told 2 years or less. So my complaint is towards the settlement time frames I feel should be quicker, mine took 1 year before my first settlement into the program. I think it should have started to see settlements after 6 months in.

Freedom Debt has been a great experience. When they call me to help me if I don’t understand or so helpful in anything I need. I will recommend friends and family with 100% yes. I’m so glad I did this with freedom debt. It’s made my life so stress free and worries.

The experience with FDR is great .. But I gotta have patience.. I realize it’s a process and I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. Also the good part about it you can a representative and ask questions or advice on what to say and do when creditors start calling and inquiring about payment. And you also can pay more on your plan. For the most part you can work out your financial situation in the process So far it been a good experience and the representative assured me that it was a great program to get if you have a financial hardship.

We each went to Freedom out of despair action. Nothing seemed to work until we found Freedom Debt Relief. It wasn't easy, but their programs held us to a schedule. Month after month the creditors dropped off as FDR's programs worked their 'magic'. Use their provided tools, check your 'Dashboard' often, keep up with what the program is doing and be patient. They'll work with you if something changes.

First settlement within 3 months in the program and with a balance of about $4200 on a small loan, they settled it for just over $1200. Saved me just under $3000. Excellent start and now just one more to go and that one should be ready to go within 6 months.

FDR is legit. They're not a scam. They were really nice. They gave me a lot of information. Regarding the payment plan, they asked me what would be doable for me to do and they worked with me there. They were very quick with working with the credit card companies. One card I owed almost 10,000 and they settled it for 6,000. They also have good customer support. If I ever needed any questions answered, they were there. Our credit report went down considerably when I started, but we knew that was gonna happen. Now, I've got less than a year to go. I have already recommended them to friends.

The settlement fee is high but getting the accounts settled has been fast on most of them. I was contacted about enrolling another debt that I couldn’t find on my credit report. I inquired as to where that info came from and didn’t get a clear answer. The customer service team has been fine to deal with.

Overall good experience so far. Was explained very well although payments changed a bit from start to first payment. I am not a happy camper so to speak... It Takes too long to reach out to the creditors and will leave you in a delinquency mode thus leading to debt collectors calling or mailing notices to you and will also leave you with a very bad credit score. You can't buy anything that requires a credit score check because your score is at the 400s literally!! I should have tried National Debt Relief instead.

I am not happy at all the way my account is handled. I was not told that changing my dates paying would affect an account, now to get it straight I need to deposit more money and they're not even sure what it will pay. I am just trying to get my accounts settled myself so I can get rid of this.

The customer service is awesome. I have only been in the program since March. The only complaint I have is it takes a while to settle with the credit companies. I don’t think I had a clear understanding on how long it takes to settle with them. Not sure if it takes the full 4 years or not.

I enrolled five credit cards into Freedom Debt Relief’s program and we’ll be done next year. I usually call and I never have the same person. I gotta explain to them what's happening. They have to go in there and look at the file, do some reading and call me back. In the beginning, FDR’s service was great. It's just this last one that we're working on. We had one account that had two payments left on it and FDR refused the last couple of payments. It pissed me off. They went behind our backs and sold the account to somebody else and didn't tell us what they were doing. The company was calling me, wanting me to pay them and I said we'll pay them through Freedom Debt. And they didn't wanna wait. Now, I'm paying the full amount that I owed FDR on this.

Freedom is very good at keeping you posted on what's going on and they let you know any changes coming. The helped us get a payment that was as low as we could go and still be okay with our retirement because we didn't have anything but social security. Working with them has made it a lot easier for me by letting us make the payments monthly and have them take care of getting rid of the problem. Go for it.

They have the very helpful every time I have called them and keep me updated on all of my combined settlements. I have been very happy with the communication and pleasantry towards me. There have been months where I haven't been able to pay the full amount that I was dedicated to, and they worked with me to work out payments.

I've had a great experience with freedom debt relief. Justin ** is the expert I spoke with. He walked me through everything that was going to happen before we did so I would know and understand what I was doing and why. He was very thorough, educated on the subjects, and friendly. I have a phone number and an email if i have any questions or problems. Yes, I would recommend a friend because you are true to your word. Do not have to wait a long time. The more money we send the quicker you are in paying off our debts. We have to be patient because it do take time to review paperwork and check the creditors out.

Since I am only in the program for less than 30 days, I really can't judge yet. I must say that one issue that was not addressed is the fact that I would be getting phone calls from my creditors and I would have to explain why I am not paying but not mention FDR. I get anxiety every time the phone rings!!

The rep took a long time to explain to me what the program was and how my debt was gonna get paid off. They were endlessly patient. I was skeptical about it but whoever was on the phone was always glad to answer questions. The payment plan was fantastic because it cut down my monthly payments and whittled away at my debt. The correspondence is almost daily from Freedom Debt Relief. I'm sorry but it does get annoying. I get it. I understand it but it's been set up already the amount I'm supposed to have taken out of my banking automatically. And I will not be answering the phone when debt collectors call. That's my choice. As stated above in my title I have never come across a company that has made it so easy to help at a time when financial distress has hit. They were very helpful and went out of their way to make certain I understood everything that will be taking place. And again, at a time of financial distress, the emails sent almost every day has a way of soothing and taking away the stress.

Using the FDR Program was such a wonderful experience. The folks I spoke to were very attentive, kind and helpful. For a person like me that doesn’t like talking on the phone communication was made easy via text, email and although the occasional phone call it was informative and I was put at ease. The process of getting my credit lowered/paid off was a quick process and most of the 11 I had initially listed were taken care of within a year. My credit is making its way back up and because of this program and experience I will meet my personal goal of being free of credit card debt.

So far all has been well. Had an issue with my deposit date and was able to push it back with no problems. Once my payments and negotiation start I will really be able to tell how the program works. Overall good. I think there is a glitch with the website though. When you click on designated account it always give an error message

They say payments and dedicated account is entirely yours and there are little admin fees but then they refuse to take weekly payments even though the bi weekly payments are way harder to make. There is no leeway on adjusting payments even if I lower the enrolled debt. Also I have been with them over a year and seen little progress. Only 3 accounts settled with 1 completed. And even though I initially attempted to get a consolidation loan which of course I was denied for, 3 months after starting the program they came up with a loan option. But there was no guarantee it would lower payments and loan amt was for enrolled debt which if they settle the debt for less there was not an option to lower the fixed loan amt.

I have already told and sent info to my friends. Told them how great and friendly everyone is. They don't make you feel like an embarrassment at all. I highly recommend to anyone needing financial help. Setting up and doing the consultation I was actually laughing with the gentlemen. They treat you like you are a regular person.

The agent was professional, a good listener, explained things clearly and was patient and willing to help with my needs and gave time that I needed to start the program. Excellent service and Accounting. Always returns my calls at accurate with the debts. Also helpful in creditors calling me when I need advice in answering the calls. They have a setup where you know when you graduate and succeed with paying off the creditors. They will guide you to the graduation date even though you call twice a week. Best time to call them is Monday through Friday 8 AM through 6 PM.

I enrolled in a new debt and was told to not continuing making payments. After several months after the negotiation have not been done, receiving several notices that my credit rating has gone down due to no payment. It was close to a year before I had to remind your company that this debt needs to be negotiated and that's when it was done. I lost over 70 points of my credit rating because of the lapse of follow through.

Just thought fees were taken at the end, and there would be more settlements with each deposit. It seems fees are more than expected as well. So, I was surprised with fees being taken right away, at a high right, which could go to settlements first.

Slow rolled the payoff, check was sent twice for the full amount. Claim to not receive it. Finally 7 months later resolved it. Had a $9000 overage and got sent back $3800. It was strange we had gotten a HELOC to pay the balance, my bank would only send it by check and they sent it directly to FDR exactly where they told us. 30 days passed they claimed to never received it. So we cancelled and sent another check to a different address. 7 months later finally resolved with FDR taking half of the overage....

My debt is disappearing and I am always informed. They ask before they do anything. The dashboard is very informative and there are so many videos to watch to know what is happening.
