So far so good. I’ve made my payments and my first account is now paid off. The people that I’ve dealt with at Freedom Debt Relief have been great, they’re courteous, polite understanding and really make it so I can understand what’s going on with my accounts and how to deal with the calls.

I’m so glad I joined the FDR, I was able to sleep better and it also lessened my anxiety. The dashboard was also a great help. I do wish I could have communicated more with customer service, I had to call them versus them calling and checking on me. Overall it works for me and yes I would tell someone about my experience.

When I call with questions half of the time the person who answers has an accent so thick I am unable to understand them. Very very frustrating. A person would think it would be advantages to a company to provide clear and concise help to customers. Mind you it is not every time but a good 50% of the time.

It started out great but a year later I am in more debt than I was with 7 years of payment. When I saw the advertisement it said they could help with lowering your debt without a loan and I thought that was great but now I am on a loan with more money to pay back although two of my debts were removed.

You pride yourself on lowering the amount of the settlement but the fees that you charge make the discount minimal. Length of time, etc makes it difficult to be excited about the program. I don't know if this is worth it for me. My creditors keep calling me over and over again.

I've had a good experience with their reps. Whatever questions I had, I would just call them and they would help me out right away. Working with their reps was very easy. They told me it would take three to four years, but, I'm still not done. And it's been five years. I have six accounts brought to Freedom and I still have three more to go.

So far I’m satisfied I believe it was explained to me in full. I really would like to see the new number for TJMax as I sent in the information like three or four times by adjusting that account my monthly payment will go down. Please correct it. Let me know.

There’s nothing been paid off yet so it’s hard to say if I’m pleased with the service or not. But if things turn out like I was told I’ll be very happy. I’m looking forward to having it taken care of and fixing my credit. Hope it gets done. I’m going to try to send extra to pay it ahead of time.

I called Freedom Debt Relief. At first, it was nerve-racking. But after I got done talking with their rep, it was exciting and I was ready to start. The program they set up for me was supposed to add around 22. But life happens so you have to change things around. They had me for 2025 and that should save me at a balance of 2 something. Ever since then, they settled a few things and I was able to get a few things done. I actually bought my first home this year because of Freedom so it's been a blessing.

I just had to Freedom Debt Relief what I still had in outstanding accounts. And then determined which accounts they could work with and couldn't, and which would be in the program and not. We went further with the enrollment process on how they protect us with the attorneys. And we got our own team of attorneys that work on it, and how the program would work. I speak back and forth with people either in chat or on the phone, and initially using my online dashboards for the system. I've graduated. They said it would take five years. But it ended up being something close to seven because they had one account that gave them some problems. Target has a card that comes right from your checking account. It wasn't a lot of money. That account just kept giving them a lot of crap about it. Until they finally just gave them an amount that they would try to settle it for. And they accepted that amount. Neither me nor my husband have any debt.

I was very reluctant to start my debt free journey with this company, but I took a chance, filled out my information and received a call right away. When I signed up for the program, I was told that my credit would be affected. I had no idea that it would be so drastic. Very user friendly. I was shocked at how fast Freedom got my first settlement, and checking my Dashboard they have another creditor targeted for negotiations. Updated on 12/28/2023: I am on the second of four write offs in less than one year. One complaint I have is with the monthly fees that are charged, thus decreasing my funds available for debt settlements. My initial contact person was very informative. Dashboard is difficult to navigate especially if I want to review all ongoing correspondence with the creditor.

I thank you for your knowledge in helping me when I needed it the most. I am still new and am thankful for the opportunities to get my debt under control. I am also thankful for the help and patience given to me to help me understand how this all works.

Ordinarily I would ask one of my children or grandchildren to read the directions and then tell me what or how to do something. With ADHD I can't read more than a couple sentences at a time. I already had a write off on one account. I am concerned with how I recently learned that if an account knows I am working with you before you negotiate they are likely to do that. I have larger account debts that have not been touched yet. I am fearful from the calls and emails saying I am close to collections. I was not expecting this, especially an account write off.

It hasn't really started. My first payment is coming due and I guess that's when it begins. The lady had a very mundane script to refund that was very canned. I felt she was doing her best with what was supplied.

FDR has greatly assisted me with resolving my debt. They made arrangements for half of my debt in only four months. I am well on my way to paying off all my debt. I have had to call a few times to ask for clarification on procedure. I was treat respectfully a majority of the time. You do have a few customer service reps that could be a little more outgoing. As for progress, it's coming along so I thank all of for that. This is all way more stressful than I thought.

This is definitely a great way to get out of debt without having to pay a lot of money to do so. The customer service is great and they are very communicative. I especially like the loan program to help your credit at the same time you are trying to pay down the debt.

My largest account has gone untouched and is about to charge off. Called customer service. They explained that they do not negotiate with the creditor until I have built it 20% of my debt. But how am I to build that up is my account is paying out the other smaller creditors first? This is how the company keeps you with them longer. My credit is taking a major hit based on the strategy.

I send a email last week saying I wanna cancel it but nobody got back to me. I wish somebody would get back to me so I can cancel it it. I WROTE saying this is the wrong time for me to wanna try to do seeing that I wanna buy a house.

I had joined FDR and started the program when part of the way through my wife passed. Everything changed and I had to minimize my efforts, along with Covid the process almost came to a stop! The Representative was very nice, everything was explained to me, and he answered all my questions. The application was easy to complete and submit. All the information was sent to me by email to review. The dashboard is very helpful and I am able to review all the information discussed. But most importantly, I am thankful for the help so I can get back on track with my finances.

It would be nice for a company to work with you since I’ve been out of work since January and do not have a lot of income. I called to change my date because I did not receive my check and was told it would be bad and I had to borrow money from a friend.

Not transparent about what you will be paying monthly. After stating that payments would be a certain amount - a year later I was told my payments would need to be tripled. You are better off putting your $ aside yourself and negotiating on your own. Then if you cannot afford it, they will try to push you into a high interest loan that may keep the payments the same - but now you double the length of time.

Freedom Debt Relief negotiated my accounts and offered me a loan through a sister company. I was told my qualification for the loan was based on my on-time monthly payment history. The loan amount will reflect the amounts negotiated with credit companies and will assist with paying off accounts sooner. It will also reduce the number of open accounts to one. My debt still isn’t resolved and improvements to credit score are in progress. However, I’m grateful for the work the team is putting in to negotiate my debt.

FDR has done a great job so far because my credit went down and starting to go back up already and by the time I’m done I’ll have good credit once again. FDR is also easy to talk to on the phone and easy to call. FDR will always be recognized by me.

Charge too much on your fees.. You said it would take three years and now almost 5.. So you are not honest and that is despicable.. And my credit is ruined and it was perfect when we started. And you did not acquire all the accounts to resolve so this is not going to benefit me or resolve the problem.

I’ve received one call already about my biggest charge card balance being late.. It is overdue, and the amount due is twice the payment. You mention that the more money we can keep in our account with you, the quicker the balances on everything will come down. If I had a lot more money to put in my account with your company, I would pay off my bills myself. This worries me. Not having enough in my account.

When I signed up for the FDR program through SimplePath Financial, I was under the impression from the agent, FDR would take a more proactive approach with my creditors prior to my making the first deposit. This has not happened. I get numerous emails from FDR on how to handle creditor calls, when FDR will get involved..etc. I am getting 8-15 calls per day. Per FDR guidelines some I answer. One creditor became very belligerent when trying to explain my situation. I am seriously thinking of opting out of the program.

The settlements are happening much faster than I thought. I’m really happy with the results. I would recommend this service to my friends. At first I was concerned that it would be to difficult to achieve my goals. Now I see how easy it is. I’m making a lot of progress towards my goal of debt relief.

The program overall is a good program and I am very happy with how well they have been able to settle the accounts and how much they have been able to reduce the total debt and what we actually end up paying into the settlements. However, I am incredibly frustrated as, especially more recently, I was given conflicting information from at least three different associates. The misinformation caused a lot of confusion and resulted in a lot of complicated issues that ended in us having to pay a lot more than expected and go through several different avenues to be able to complete what was supposed to be one deposit. I also had to call and speak to a more specialized and better trained associate to clear everything up, and was on the phone for more than an hour due to everything I needed to clarify.

The representative I spoke to helped me out a lot and made this process much easier that if I had done this on my own. Now I have a little more breathing space every month in order to buy groceries and pet food and maybe save a little bit of money instead of going into the negatives every month, and eating as much as I can from the food I can get from the employee dining room at work.

I had two debts and I was having issues because both of them would come in different times in the month. One would be at the 1st and the other one would be towards the end. I would always struggle with money from the one in the end to the beginning because I had a hard time saving money. I finally broke down and needed help. I was struggling.

We refinanced our home and the new mortgage company sent me checks to pay off credit cards, which they were doing some for us. I sent Freedom a check of almost $6,000 that I'm paying for that through my mortgage now. It was to pay off one credit card in full and they were to apply the remainder into the other two accounts they were working on. They received it on July 3rd and it went into that account July 3rd. But it does not show on my page at all that they have applied that to that credit card nor the remainder of that check to the other two credit cards. It shows that they have received it and they deposited it into that account, but they've not applied it to the debt. I have called them over and over. They have not been helpful at all. My balance was $1,931 to pay them off completely. I just sent them another check, certified mail, that I will get a signed receipt to pay them in full and I wouldn't want another thing to do with them. They won't get another penny from me and I've made sure of that with the bank. I will not recommend this company to anyone.

FDR has been very communicative and user friendly via website and text and email. Have made being in debt nearly stress free. Easy to upload documents and learn the process. I have never had to call bc of the easy text feature. I appreciate them working down my debt via negotiations.

Freedom Debt Relief is trustable. They have been helping me consolidate my debt. The fees are high, but it keeps me out of trouble. The customer service is good. They're very easy to get ahold of. Before COVID, it was Monday through Sunday, and after COVID, it's Monday through Friday, but that hasn't been a problem.

The program works good. I wish it was done faster, but it just takes a while. Freedom Debt Relief does a good job. They told me before, if I pay more than I have now, we would pay it off quicker. But they don't force me. They just gave me a heads up. They keep me informed, which is good. I recommend them big time.

The reps warned me right up front that I was gonna have to let my bills go on hold for a while and that it was gonna hurt my credit. My only concern is that I paid off all but one credit card and my credit report is still reflecting that these bills or still unpaid even though I paid them. I spoke to Freedom about it and they said I would have to contact the credit reporting agency and let them know what I was doing and who I was affiliated with, which is them, and let them know that I have proof. The only proof that I have is my dashboard that I get on to and it shows that I've made all the payments and that they're paid off. Freedom Debt Relief was easy to work with and their program was good. They're doing everything they said they would do. I've got to trust that they are because it shows that the bills are paid and I don't know any other way to check on it other than what they tell me.
