I am grateful for Freedom Debt Relief for helping me with my debt. I tried to get loans everywhere. I am relieved of a burden on my shoulder. I am glad no more phone calls. I was overwhelmed with bills. I will recommend Freedom Relief program to my family and friends.

Has been very helpful and great customer service. FDR keeps me up to date on my progress in getting debt free. And I know if I have any questions they are there to answer them for me and help me thru it and get the issue solved for me in a speedy manner.

I have had an amazing experience with FDR, they have resolved so much of my debt already and every single person I have spoken with has been so nice and polite! I am so grateful for all of the stress this FDR has taken off my shoulders!! I am very happy that I made the decision to work with them and start the process of putting my debt in the past!

I was skeptical at first but then I decided to trust them due to the fact they are on ConsumerAffairs and Trust Pilot. I gave them a chance. So far I have two creditors out the way. They are wonderful and helpful. I will be graduating a year sooner because of the fast turnaround.

I was not informed as to the impact this program would have on my credit score and the way in which creditors are dealt with, lastly I do not like being told that the money settled would turn into income for me!! I can't wait to be done with this program.

This company is very transparent with results and accommodating with my deposits and making great progress. Everyone that I have spoken to in customer service include the chat line have been very helpful. They have addressed my concerns in a timely manner as well as looking at all the documents that I have uploaded and provide me with feedback.

This program has been working for me. I’ve seen the effect on my credit rating and it had been what was shared with me. It has helped me better recover from the high inflation and increased interest rates. I’m getting my freedom back and they are helping me do it wisely.

The program that Freedom Debt Relief sold to me has been less than optimal. I find that the additional interest that was added to my credit card balances before Freedom negotiated a settlement, along with the fees Freedom Debt charges every month, added more to my debt than if I had called each creditor independently and tried to reach a settlement on my own. Another issue with the program is the harassment I received telling me a settlement was in jeopardy if I needed to reduce an account deposit due to higher than usual expenses (homeowner insurance premiums, income tax bill, etc.).

I was under the impression that we had to do this and I was quite upset because I wanted to keep my payment that I was told from the beginning. As long as my creditors are happy then so am I. Otherwise then, everything is just fine. I'm happy with my payment and everyone is getting paid.

Updated on 06/08/2024: The whole program was a lifesaver to me. I was surprised of how fast they were able to settle with my creditors and for how much they settled the accounts. They were also able to refer me for a loan with Achieve so that my debt could be paid off with 5 years or sooner if I made larger payments.

They negotiate my credit account down to half of what I owed. Pay them off as I build my funds in their account. It takes longer to get to the higher balances so they continue to be delinquent for approx 6-12 mos but hoping those are even lower to payoff by the time we reach settlement stage. That's the only downside.

I am somewhat satisfied with the progress but believe you could do a better negotiation with reduction and also believe you charge a little too much for what you have done so far. You should not be taking any payments from my account until all my debts are paid off with a significant reduction then and only then should you be paid for your services.

Freedom Debt Relief has been amazing and quick at handling my settlements. They are saving me so much money with the offers they are securing. I would absolutely recommend, and have recommended, FDR services to friends and family. The payment plan is easy to maintain, and overall I am feeling more at ease with handling my debts through FDR.

Updated on 07/29/2024: Finally getting a good start on getting out of debt. Makes it so much better letting someone help. It's been over a year now and I'm getting closer all the time. The hardest thing to do was to not buy anything that I don't need. Thanks for all your help. Couldn't have done it without your help. I would tell anyone that needs help to contact y'all.

I am glad that I found Freedom Debt Relief because the financial issue was terrible strain on my financial and mental well-being. It's great to work with a company that does exactly what they mean. Freedom debt relief has been available when I had questions. Especially, when the bill collectors started calling daily and mailing letters to me.

Things are going smoothly, a bit slow but funds are needed to speed up the process. Seems like everything is going well in a timely manner considering. I have gotten prompt responses when a crisis occurs with the creditors. Thanks. When files or documents are required I can download with ease.

Easy to communicate and resolve credit issues. Customer service is always there to help. My past experience with Freedom was excellent. I would definitely recommend to others. From beginning to end flawless. If you have too much debt and need help, this is the place to go bar none. I would never use anyone else. I've had a good experience so far, I did provide 4 stars as my graduation date keeps getting pushed back further and further than what I was initially told, despite the fact that I have removed a few accounts off the debt list and I increased my payment a little bit.

I'm not going to lie. I was very skeptical at first and scared to give it a shot. But everyone was so helpful and friendly and they really helped explain everything to me where I understood and was able to get it all taken care of. I even got to advance in my program and get it taken care of faster with their partner achieve. I am very grateful for their help!

I have requested numerous times to change my monthly payment. 271.00 is not affordable for me at the present time. To date no help. 125.00 would be within my budget. So unhappy with FDR. I am seriously looking into other alternatives to help me with my debt. At my age I really don't need credit. Just trying to do the right thing in my last years.

It was not explained very well about the way this program works. I was under the assumption this was a debt consolidation loan company, and this was "confirmed" upon my start-up call. It wasn't until after we were already enrolled and made multiple payments that the program was actually explained to us. This is not a loan. They use the money you pay in to "settle" your debts and then pay them as the money is available. We were also told if we needed to miss a payment, to give them a call, and we could miss one payment without repercussions. Not so.

I called Freedom Debt Relief because I needed help. Very Easy to do. The gentleman that he helped me was very professional. He understood what I was going through. He made sure that I know everything before we got off the phone. He didn’t make me feel bad, he keep telling that everybody has hard time. That’s why I’m here.

I don't think I can give a full 5 stars until I finish this process. So far though the person who set my account and program up was great! I'm not sure if I realized how the fees worked but my negotiations seem to be going well and my debt is decreasing card by card. I do like having only 2 payments a month. Going rogue on my bills was odd.

Pretty happy with the outcomes so far but the settlement fees are pretty high. I do appreciate the work you guys have done one of my cards are still good but learning about the process it seems like I could have done this my self and saved a few dollars in process.

I really got myself over my own head when I acquired too much debt. Thanks to Freedom Debt Relief, they have taken the headache away and I don't have to deal with it anymore. The only thing that would have made them perfect was if they had paid all my debts off for me all at once and I just paid them so much each month. I'm not happy that it went into collections. They were willing to settle but no communication as far as I know. The collection company has been calling constantly. Can someone contact them because I was told not to speak to them. Do y'all need the name and contact person. What else can I say. CareCredit is resolved and happy with that. Discover card I have no information on progress for this debt.

Excellent; They explain what they are doing to help me solve my debt problem and keep me informed at all times. They are very supportive by emails and on the phone. Everyone I have spoken with is kind, informative and wonderful. They don't mind that I call and ask questions.

They have been able to get FDR to get my credit under control. My credit score is starting to come back from the damage I caused it. I just wish we could get arrangements made on my current credit cards so they would stop calling me. I am very happy other wise I would refer the services to anyone.

The representative that set me up was very knowledgeable and informed me of how the program works. Being my first time ever using this program I hope to never have to did it again. I've been in the program 6 months and my credit score is already improving! My set up partner was fantastic in advice and accommodations. The dashboard is easy to use. Updated on 01/07/2025: I was extremely nervous and skeptical about starting this program, but at the time, it felt like we had no other options. Our debt had become overwhelming, and we were drowning financially. From the beginning, the team at FDR was very clear about how the program would impact our finances—and everything they told us turned out to be true. One of the biggest reliefs was moving to a single, lower monthly payment. We’re now in the final stretch of the program and expect to finish next year, in 2027. While our credit did take a major hit at first, we committed to the process, and it has steadily improved. Over the past year alone, my credit score has increased by 100 points.

This company is Great! All my debts were negotiated in a timely manner and each debt was reduced by 50% or more! I've been very pleased with Freedom Debt Relief. They have saved us from bankruptcy. And the incredible thing is during the process of them settling our debt, our score is going back up! I didn't expect that to occur until much later in the program. I think we are about 6 months in and our score continues to trend upward. By the time we are done we should have an excellent credit rating.

The service has me at ease with the customer service and the knowledge that is provided to me. My debts are paid for and I am the one who authorized any payoff of my debts. I get monthly statements which contains all my debts and the payoff of any. Thank you.

Byron was great to work with - since setting up the payment account, there have been some snafus where it says that it is suspended for non payment but the first payment isn’t due until January 12th and it is autopay. Otherwise, it’s been helpful. They give you all the tools to be successful and learn better money practices.

Freedom Debt Relief was able to reduce my monthly Debt by 1/2. This allowed me some breathing room and stopped the phone calls. Updated on 08/12/2024: I'm impressed the way my debts are being negotiated with the creditors. In a short one year, FDR was able to resolve 2 debts down to 50% less than the actual balance. I'm hoping to resolve remaining debts within the next year. I recommended FDR to anyone whose debts are out of control to let the professionals handle it for you.

After I entered into the program it was taken care of without any issues or concerns. I was kept informed of the progress and felt totally confident that everything was being taken care. Also I never received any pressuring phone calls or letters from creditors. I am so thankful for them taking the worries off of me and helping me get through the process.

I did not realize the creditor would be reaching out to me with payment info. I don't know what else to say. Overall I am happy with the settlement. I am looking forward to when I can become debt-free. Other than what I have said I have nothing else to add.

Seems like there are a lot of hidden fees and they seem to stretch out the settlement process to maximize their banking fees for their parent company. They charge their commission fees based the total debt not what is settled for. They tell you upfront what you want to hear to get you to sign up then keep funneling your funds into a bank account they control.

They made this easy, was glad when I saw the negotiations and the savings. Already will have 3 paid off by March and more on the way. The negotiations they have made have truly been a great reduction in what I owed, I couldn't without them. So worth it. Great decision.

I continue to get phone calls, emails, and letters from my creditors. I am not happy with the negotiations to date, and I was under the impression that you would contact my creditors to let them know that I was working with you. You need to provide some kind of laid out plan that shows which creditor you are going to approach and for how much.

Everyone that I have dealt with treated me like a real person. When I called to request information, they all answered my questions succinctly and politely. They allowed me the time I needed for information. I was never pressured to decide to be a client. If a friend confides in me with similar financial hardships, I would gladly refer them to Freedom DR.

Yes I would recommend Freedom to a friend, this is my second time using Freedom. I fully trust Freedom Debt Relief to help me with my financial difficulties. I see adverse from other companies but I prefer Freedom over anyone else! I am comfortable using Freedom especially since I used them before. I was at the point where I was considering bankruptcy to get out from underneath debt that had been accumulated between medical bills and credit cards. I'm thankful I found this program because I was able to get out from under everything for less than what I was paying on 2 of my loans that were originally 40% of my total due monthly. I owed more than I was making in a month and had so many old medical bills in collections.

Marcus was amazing at signing me up, however, now that I am signed up... Nothing. No follow up, questions go unanswered. I have not seen as of yet an increase of my credit score. And the bills I really struggle with are not part of the program... So I am not 100% sure I would recommend.

All I have to do is go on the site to check how my debt is being handled. It's all right there. Very simple and easy to navigate through.

I would like to know where we’re at, at times. Otherwise this is a good way to trust in them and you’ll have no worries with things taken care of. Right now from what I can tell it’s going a little slow but it’s getting done. Worrying every day is not healthy besides that they can knock the price down for you considerably.

Make my first payment. I experience very nice people. Very educated. Know what they're doing. Friendly. I have had a pending payoff for a loan for at least 4 months now. I have had to step in to take care of the issue. I am not happy I had to intervene. Why help with an outstanding debt if you can not resolve it within a month?

I have been with Freedom Debt Relief now since July. I call at least once a month. They cannot seem to fix my problem. I cannot see my dashboard. I cannot interact with anything. Very, very frustrating experience so far. They can see all of my information, but I cannot. I cannot interact or do anything.

Updated on 7/27/2024: I am satisfied with the settlements, and updates to my account. However, I wish when I asked a question regarding my payments, I would get an answer. I asked how much of my deposit goes toward my bills, and she avoided the answer. I hate that. Can you give your customer service people more training regarding responding to answers?

I am not happy with the agreements you have made with my creditors. You ruined my credit with promises that were never fulfilled. I should have never went with Freedom. The fees that were paid to Freedom and the amounts you settled for, I would have been better off just paying my bills and not having my credit ruined. You also told me that when a credit was resolved it would be treated as if I paid off the loan. It turns out that was a lie because Lowe’s has it in my credit score that I settled for a lesser amount.

I wish it was easier in my circumstances to pay the amount that I was set up to pay but it’s not. It’s being very difficult to pay the 618 with the other debts that I have. But every time I call to reduce the amount they’re always very kind and considerate, I hope to get on track. I should say we my husband and I hope to get on track soon.

For a year I was so depressed ain’t pay my credit card, and couldn’t sleep at night till I found Freedom. It all seems great. However, it is confusing at times. I understand that creditors will continue to call and harass/pressure me to make payments or to participate in a "plan" they have to get back on track. But the confusion I get is when I get an email from FDR stating they found other debts that can be added to my plan. These other debts are/ supposed to be already included. I submitted both my wife's and my credit report when I enrolled and was quoted a fixed monthly payment which was based and included on the debt listed on our credit report.

We are so please with the FDR program. It has taken a very awful situation and made life bearable again. They were compassionate and really cared about our situation. Life threw us a giant curve and we had no idea how to handle the problem. Thankfully we were able to find FDR on the internet. Liked the reviews and decided to call to see if they could help. Freedom Debt Relief has been a big help. The staff is very friendly and explained the process so I understood what was going to happen. If I have any questions they are there to answer. They have settled some of my debt and inform me every step of the way. I would highly recommend.

Did not fully understand what this program entitled in the beginning when I signed up. I was under the impression that it was a debt consolidation, but it hurt my credit and was not aware of the “program fees” when I originally signed up. I had to take the initiative to a call customer service more than a handful of times in order to have accounts closed and still received push back about closing them. Not until I requested to pull money out and negotiate close account on my own did Freedom Debt Relief take the necessary steps to close out accounts. I have moneys remaining from negotiation accounts being closed and still waiting for moneys to be given back to me. I will have to call customer service again to check status of remaining moneys.

I am slowly seeing my score go up little by little each month, I have been working with Freedom Debt Relief about a year now and they have helped me stay on schedule with my payments and settles with the debt collection agencies. I’m staying consistent with making my payments and just being patient.

Best move I ever made for debt resolution. I was financially stable until my husband had two strokes months apart and was unable to work. Things just spiraled from that point. Freedom Debt understood my situation and did not judge. They offered help and relieved my stress and sleepless nights. I would highly recommend them.

The program works quickly with settling debt, however just like with any debt relief program a large portion of your dedicated account goes to their processing fees vs paying off the debt. It takes several installments to actually pay off the debt. You have to put extra money into the account to help pay the debts back vs the money actually going straight to the creditors. So Freedom Debt Relief in the long run receives more of a percentage of money. Hence why it takes you almost 5 yrs to actually pay off the debt. I had a debt of 1400. It was settled for 56% but their processing fee was 750 that was taken from my dedicated account. Then I’m make monthly installments of 68 bucks to the company. Why is the settlement fee way more than the settlement amount. I understand this is a business and they have to make a profit but this is preying on people who just want to get their debts paid but can’t get a loan to pay it all off.

I'm so glad I chose FDR. So far the debts are dwindling down. I'm glad things are slowly getting better each and every day. I would recommend FDR to anyone that is having debt issues. I wish I could add more funds to the account but I'm working 2 jobs as it is now.

From time I was accepted by Freedom Debt there was always an employee who could answer all my questions. Any staff I communicated with were great. Professional and knowledgeable and patience to take me thru this financial mess I was in.. 5 years was long time but at very end of it, never missed a payment . My credit score has hit the mid 700s. The first person that I talked to was Linda. Linda referred me to Jeremiah ** and he helped me and walked me through the enrollment process and went over the contract and I signed on. He explained to me about the dashboard and wanted the documentation of some of debts. He was cordial and professional.

Super knowledgeable and helpful. The people I have talked with seemed genuinely concerned about my financial situation and explained how they would be able to help me save money and help alleviate my interest payments. Setting up my account was easy and I can see where my money is going. I would recommend anyone who has high usage of their credit cards to take advantage of this process to help you save money. You can see your dedicated account with your money in it.

Freedom Debt Relief has been informative and they negotiated lower payments, and are getting me out of debt. I can rest a little easier knowing my creditors are paid off, and I'm not going to get anymore calls from them. I would recommend them to anybody who needs to get out of debt.

They are upfront about their settlement fee... but then there's also the $10/mo maintenance fee plus $10 per settlement per month for 2-day mailing to send the credit companies their pay each month. It's annoying that they're nickel and diming you after already getting their huge settlement fees. With that being said, they do what they say they're going to. They settle your accounts at a (mostly) big discount and help you work towards eliminated your debt altogether. I just can't wait to get through these next 3 years.

Initially I was quoted at 4 years to graduate and now it's going to be over 5. At the end a law group was brought in to help and would never call me back and didn't listen to my concerns and my final acct was settled very unsatisfactory. I was so hoping to be done before 5 years.

Credit score has gotten worse, not better in any way. Other than not being harassed by creditors, not sure the benefit of this program. Communication is very hands off once you have someone's money - customer service is awful - different answer depending on who you speak with - very rude people as well.

Everything was explained well and often! I am very detailed and ask a ton of questions, before I made my decision I had at least 5 separate calls with FDR and never felt pressured or received any kind a push to start before I was comfortable. Any and all questions are answered immediately! I am ALWAYS able to reach a live person and the entire customer experience is beyond anything I could have dreamed!

Very good so far. Everyone I have spoken with has been helpful. Emails provide me with the information I need and are extremely helpful. I like the email as how to handle creditor call, what to say and what not to say as sometimes I get frustrated with calls and say the wrong thing. I have done that with spam calls.

Updated on 02/29/2024: your way of strategic offers works great for your company but for me the waiting kills me. While we wait the debt or what I owe, keeps adding up. Of what I negotiated for with you now it's from $150 to $200 more. That means that at the time of your negotiation with the company I in the hole for waiting so much. Small debt should be resolved first in order to have less companies to work with at the end and this way saving more money.

This program has helped me resolve my credit issues in a timely manner, along with helping build back my credit. Very helpful staff and accessible when I needed them. The process to sign up is fairly easy. There's an associate who will help you every step of the way. This takes the stress out of having to do it alone. There's several options to choose from, so depending on what you can afford monthly you could be completely finished with the program in as little as 24 months. I recommend giving the program a try.

I’ve emailed my person, sent an email through my portal and no one ever gets back to me, I had to go to live chat to get help after 3 attempts to reach someone for help went unanswered. Not a good feeling being I just signed up. I’m not as confident as I was in the beginning.

It has been 9 months and still have revolving 3 accounts still need to be settle when I was told that within 6 months all the accounts should be settled and starting to rebuild my credit. It doesn’t seem to be any urgency to get all these accounts taken care of.

Very happy with the settlements and how they moving. The savings is incredible. I am confused about the fees collected monthly. Seems excessive so you really cannot build money to pay creditors. You literally need to make a one deposit periodically to build up funding. I myself do not have extra.

They don’t listen or even try to help with an issue. Two problems: 1. I’ve asked in several emails to change the address of my hospital bill. 2. I’ve begged to beg and pay this bill NOW. IT'S RIDICULOUS. It’s MY money. I am looking for another debt solution company.

It was showing my debt amount and the company who I owe 46000.00 to has charged it off so I will have to pay tax on it this year. There was no place to explain my situation and issue with my debt. Updated on 6/27/2024: Easy process. Down to 2 more accounts. Started with 6 last September and will be done by 2027 or sooner. Would refer friends for sure. Only thing I did not like was the pushy people that contacted us about a loan to complete program. They tried to talk over me and would not listen. Very pushy.

I told you I didn't want to pay the $331 dollar debt as I never bought anything. They charged me $75.00 to give me a credit card. I refused the card. That $75 ballooned to $331. They are thieves. I told you I don't want to settle old debt. You keep presenting me with 20 year old debt. I would get good jobs and then lose them. Get laid off. Lost 2 cars. I'm 72 years old on social security. NO OLD DEBT.

I still don’t understand why you are still charging $195 for each settlement after each settlement has been reached! It was explained to me that it was for each settlement. Also the website is hard to use. I cannot find what I am looking for most of the time so I go there a lot less often.

Updated on 08/13/2024: I received 2 letters stating legal action; I shared with account rep at FDR and Customer Service advised not to worry about stated when legal action occurs to call. I tried to contact many times. Rep's name is Bryant at **. I had left over 10 (probably more) voicemail messages and not a single call back. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED! Discover with over a 7K Balance!! Can I please get a call back?!?? My cell is ** or my direct line at work is **. Thank you!

I will first start out by saying that I am pleased with the progress and it was a little scary at first as my credit score dropped tremendously. With time and patience with Freedom the program is actually helping me pay off old debts. I have been with the program for a little over a year and I have paid off few debts and my credit score has increased and I am pleased with the progress. The only mishaps is if you don’t have your credit report in front of you when they send over approval for negotiations it’s hard to determined if the account belongs to you or not when the creditors hassle the account. Just think they need to be able to provide more details when it comes to that. But overall it is a great program!
