Nice people to deal with, very friendly and knowledge. They let you know how you're doing every step of the way. They help you whenever you call them, and explain to you about any questions you have. I'm very satisfied. They helped me get my debt faster than I thought. I'm happy with the service I got from everyone.

I was skeptical when I started this process, but FDR has made this process easy and they handle everything. I really like that they communicate through text messages and that I can accept a settlement offer via text. I am happy they are helping me get my debt under control.

Updated on 07/12/2025: My experience with freedom debt relief for the last year and a half has been quick and easy going. They were very fast in negotiating most of my debts. I’m done quicker because a third party loan company partnered with them has taken over funding my debts and I will now pay that loan company back instead so I can get my credit back up quicker.

I am very happy in the process of my loan details. The first week I had a lot of debtors calls. Since then All of my debtors has stopped Harassing me. I'm only in my program about 6 months. And I couldn't be more pleased how Freedom Debt has helped me.

Working with FDR has been reassuring in a way I didn't expect. At first I was concerned this was some sort of scam and I'd be worse off than before I started working with them. But early on in working with FDR I had two settlement offers. I was blown away by how quickly they came in. It's been taking longer on the later settlements but that's okay. Even when legal action was taken against me for one of my debts FDR and their contracted legal team came to the rescue and worked with me as fast as they could to put my mind at ease. My time with Freedom Debt Relief is coming to a close as I begin to work with a debt consolidation loan company, but if it wasn't for Freedom I'd never be at this stage where real progress to my debt has been made. Real changes to my credit have been reflected. My effort feels worth it.

No response & feel like you signed me & now I. Am not get anyone to make some of my debts are taking care of! Also I sent in statements & no one has gotten back with me. Can someone call me please to make sure this is taken care of ASAP!

The progress of handling my debts is going good and I really appreciate how things are going and keeps me updated on the monthly payments to the creditors. Thanks again for everything. Seem to be a a fair company to work with. Very upfront company. I recommend several people so far and I continue to look forward to them helping me get my debt in order and back on track so I hope I continue to get the upfront and fair service that I'm paying them for all their help. Been greatly appreciated. They get right to it if you have any concern doing the program.

I almost finished paying the balance for the original debt with one of my creditors. FDR waited too long to negotiate. I sent an additional payment on 2/08/24. Ironically, the next day on 2/09/24. The last payment of my original debt, FDR settled for nearly half the cost. After the next scheduled payment on 2/15/24, I would have owed only $189. On their website, they claim to have reduced my debt by $3,046, but actually that’s the money they took from me. Now, I have to record it as income on my taxes and FDR charged me so I wouldn’t receive the refund I should have received (original debt: $7,546; deposits toward enrolled debt: $7,357; settlement amount: $4,500; FDR settlement fees: $1,886.50). It would have been better if I never joined the program.

I have only made my first deposit and I feel better about my future. Everyone that I have spoke with has been so helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to have a fresh start! I called yesterday with a question and the gentleman I talked with was so nice and helpful.

After making my first deposit within two weeks one of my creditors agreed on a settlement. Couldn't believe it happened that fast. The excitement I felt about taking that first small step was unbelievable. I have already recommended Freedom to some of my friends who are also struggling with collections.

I’m not ready to start yet due to a medical condition that impacted my health. Trying to reach Customer Service to stop withdrawal of funds proven impossible. You can’t reach a live human, only an automated recording which keeps you in a loop. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY.

They explained everything in great detail about how their program works and what happens down the road. I can’t say enough about how happy I am and what a load it took off my shoulders. I was drowning in credit card debt because of medical issues which I relied on those credit cards to get by. Thank You!

Please be advised I have nothing but praise for this service. First time in years I have some money in saving accounts. Just started and first payment made. Wow feels like a ton of bricks have been lifted. This is First month my credit card's not paid on time. I feel real good. Thanks.

I would give them 5 stars except, I think the client should have more say in the order that accounts are negotiated. It is crazy to allow the computer system to decide the order putting the higher interest loans that increase quickly in balance to be last to be negotiated.

I couldn’t be happier with how quickly and easy this process to not only lessen by debt amount than I originally owed. I’m eager to get rid of the debtors but soon enough be debt free and not make the mistakes of those debts ever again. Can’t wait and I’m very thankful! So far so good. Need more time to let you know how going to work, in maybe six months I can be ready to say something and review this program and this way I can experience how it works properly and recommend to everybody else and another thing is the people are very friendly and helpful, they explained very clear every step you need to do.

FDR fees are outrageously high, I'm so disappointed with the process. In 1 year time free I have made over $5,000.00 in payments towards my designated account and only 1 account has been paid off, the rest has gone in fee and fees. Your fees are over 25% of the balances and to make matters worse I get 1099 for the total defiance balance of the settled amount. Anyone that asked my experience with FDR I have to be honest.

Freedom Debt Relief is so patient and very professional, they listened to my situation and treated me like a person, and once they explained in detail how this works, the pressure was lifted off of me even before we finished the phone call. I would really recommend this to anyone who has credit card debt, do this instead of filing bankruptcy or getting a high interest loan. You can’t go wrong.

This program was able to resolve my debts fairly and efficiently. Any time I contacted FDR, the staff were ALWAYS very helpful in guiding me through the program. Though I appreciate the system, the wait is too long. This caused my credit rating to go the lowest I’ve ever seen it. It’s going to be a hard recovery to 70 plus. If someone can remind us again it’s debt relief not credit repair. That is my only complaint.

This program is helping me get back on track of my debt. Well it’s taking time and I understand this is how it’s supposed to work. Very happy overall. First few month plenty of phone calls from creditors but slowly it has been getting better and my account are getting resolved.

With worked with me for over a year on helping me clear my debt and getting the debt taken care of. This has been a great company. Update: 03/05/2025: I was satisfied for the first two settlements. But the last one, I was not happy with. I ended up having to pay court costs, and had to settle for full amount plus the late and finance charges. That was not right!! I don’t feel that was a good settlement but I basically did not have any other choice!!

Best thing going for debt... Making life so much easier... Pay your monthly fees and they take care of the rest... It has been nothing but a great experience... The people are nice that you communicate with. They are very knowledgeable as well. All you have to do is call if you are having a issue with anything...

This company works very slow. I’m do research on other companies to see how fast they settle with creditors. I’m seriously considering going elsewhere. Their feedback is, "We are working on it." I would not recommend this company to any at this moment. All the money they charge and they can’t work faster on settlements.

I don't know what we would've done without Freedom Debt Relief on our side. It's been challenging for me as I'm a numbers gal, the overall score initially drops but then, you see it coming back up, rebounding. We did not see ourselves needing assistance to begin with, but if we wouldn't have made the decision and spoke with our advisor at length, I have no idea where we would be now....We are making progress that otherwise would not have been happening. We tried everything before, Freedom Debt Relief truly is working to give us our freedom back financially.

There are other services with better ratings and better service. This one has been ok so far and I may change my rating at some point but I'm not impressed by the way things are handled. I would recommend you do lots of research when looking at these kinds of services.

Freedom has helped me so much and continue to go forward to handle all my debt, I couldn’t be happier… Every time I call and speak someone they're so nice. Very knowledgeable and help me really really quick. This is why I recommend Freedom to all my friends and will keep doing so.

They do almost all the work! The only time you have to do anything is when a creditor tries to sue you. All you do is send a picture of the letter to Freedom and they do the rest. They are easy to communicate with and I work nights. Most of my communication is Via email or the website chat or loading a picture to my vault on the website for them to see.

Every step of the way has been explained to me with nothing but honest and quick answers. I would recommend Freedom Debt Relief to anyone that is a situation where they don’t feel they can get out of it by themselves. I tried other debt relief places and there was none as good.

Friendly people to work with, very helpful. Easy payment plan to follow to get debt paid down fast. Would recommend at least talking to someone about your options to help get your debt paid off and back on track. It can’t hurt give them a call and see if it’s right for you?

Right from the beginning they made me feel important. They were upfront about what to do today and moving forward. Everyone is concerned about how I am doing and what can they do to help me complete the program. I wish I had found them before I got in over my head. Without their help I don't know what I would have done. After the first phone call it was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders and a big relief that I had people to help and make it easy for me with the budget and answering my questions. They are great people that care about you and your problems. Give them a call.

I wish some could get resolved before it charges more on the account where I sent some to show. They say half off what it was to being with just like the last one. It was what it was at the beginning and ended up paying what it was when I signed up.

Great company to deal with. The customer service is excellent. They keep you very informed on any and all happenings. Also the website is very easy to navigate and use. They are also very quick to settle all your debts and let you know as soon as agreement is reached

It's great to have my accounts resolved for less than what it would have been. Don't get more than two cc people. Wish I could afford to pay more per month so it wouldn't take so long. I think FDR should be the ones to contact ALL banks you owe right away to let them know accounts are in program.

I gave the rating ai gave because Freedom has been on top of doing what they said they would to help me rid this financial cloud that has been over my head for some time now. Even when I at one point failed to respond to their inquiries they still pushed forward in handling my debt. I am very pleased with the service they have provided me.

I recommend sticking with FDR. You'll be done sooner with lower payments. Unless you have thousands of extra dollars to pay in interest. Then I'd recommend going with Achieve they'll help you get into a longer payment plan with higher payments and a lot of interest. However your credit will improve faster. You'll also be improving your credit as you make payments.

FDR has been professional, and helpful, with debt control on my behalf, since my initial engagement with them. I have needed to make inquiries from time to time, and I have called and received helpful information. Further, when I submit new debt related documents to them via email, they promptly reply with confirmation of the receipt of such documents.

Updated on 04/08/2024: I submitted 2 credit cards for Freedom Debt Relief to negotiate. I wasn't ever behind in my payments, I was just tired of the payments. They have done a fantastic job of giving me a payment that was very reasonable for working with the clients. I have one already negotiated and the 2nd one in the works. Much quicker than I expected. I am glad to have the stress off my shoulders.

Very happy I choose to do this. They have done a great job. The only thing I wish they would do is take care of something that you requested. But I understand there is a process to everything. They are good at explaining all the steps to you and how the program works.

Freedom Debt Relief is helping me get controlled of my debt and it's not taking as long as I thought I would. And when additional debt comes up, I've easily added it as well. The mobile app is easy to navigate. And they make it simple and easy with text responses. I'm so appreciative that I found this program.

Freedom Debt Relief is helping me pay off my debt with a monthly payment. I wouldn’t ask for any other program. They saved me when I couldn’t save myself. I hope when I pay off my debt that I will understand the meaning of credit and what it is there for.

I started out with the low payment but I increased it so that I hopefully to get it done with. About 6 months later they decided that I was eligible for an accelerated loan which would have made the credit card payment paid off.. The loan puts me back to where I started paying it off in 4yrs.

I’m happy. Just thought settlement’s would be a little faster. I understand if I paid more in it would be faster but right now I just don’t have the extra money. I have a few accounts they are getting ready to turn me over to debt collection or charge them off.

Updated on 4/26/2024: Happy to know that one creditor has been resolved or paid off and five is under settlement, and four others are under negotiations, the savings are really amazing because some are settled more than 50% and some are 40%. It's really a great job for Freedom Debt Relief and I'm starting to generate my savings.

Great service. Just wish settlements didn't take as long and representatives speak to customers more on a monthly level vs. Being left in blue with just app and self. Otherwise good service, app easy to use and understand. Just need clarifications more how the fees amounts for settlement is figured would be nice too.

They lie to convince you to join the program. They should be honest and not promise but cannot be accomplished. My credit is so bad now… I’m so discouraged.. disappointed. At the beginning they called and called until I signed up. I had questions, I emailed them and as of today no reply.

Not getting to my creditors in due time. Taking forever. I'm sick of the calls and FDR not negotiating my settlements. Some of my creditors have not even been called. They need to do the work and negotiate so they will get off my back. I do my part and pay, they need to do their part and negotiate the deals and settlements. I didn't think I was going to make it through the first month, phone calls were really tough. But I did what my counselor advised and have since made strides in my debt. My credit rating tanked and have since went back up to 600. So I am pleased and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Ever helpful with my debt situation, and informing me as to how this agency has had experience with helping people in my situation, which I am grateful for. I thought it was too good to be true! Had more than $18k+ in debt. Because we just recently bought a house, had tons of renovations done. I thought we could keep up, but the interest was piling up. We couldn't get a refinance until renovations was done. I couldn't get a loan either to consolidate it. Till I found this page. I love the way FDR contacts and informs the customer about next steps. I feel supported throughout the process so far. I'm just scared of the creditors' calls when they start coming. Spoke with Linda 2/7/24.. I had papers delivered to my house from one of the creditors. She confirmed the papers I sent and answered my questions. She was very helpful, and let know to call back on Monday since they closed today. Just be sure if anything else is needed from me.

I had a good experience. After a prompt evaluation. I was quickly walked through the account set up, and they addressed my concerns, afterwards, whenever something new came up. I would recommend it to a friend. Also, I might add, the first settlement came up a few weeks soon after the account was setup; quite quickly as well. Good scores overall.

They took way too long to negotiate on my behlaf. I was able to get deals and begin to pay it off. When explained it was explained that they would settle at 50-60% less. They however only disclose thier fee after the fact and the savings seemd to be like 20%. I was able to negotiate and get better deals without having to pay their fee of 20 %. The.

They are in constant contact with updates, affirmation of correspondence receipt and have been very successful in negotiating my debt reduction. I am extremely pleased with my progress since January of 2024 when I signed with Freedom Debt Relief.

I have some three party come out of my bank account saying they work with you all. No one from this company call or email you back and it take forever to get someone on the phone cause it all automatically gets robots press this button. Not a live person cause there no Button for them.

If I knew what I know now, I would’ve just settled with my bank. For the amount of money I’ve paid, this service is not what I expected. I feel like FDR drags out the process just to gain more money from your dedicated account. If you have fallen behind for medical reasons or job loss and need some assistance, please work with the creditors with whom you have an account with as they will most likely work something out better than FDR. I had one guy call me saying he was with FDR, but he was rude and sort of threatening to me. At this point, I’m unsure when they will stop taking money out of my account. I have enough to settle, but they drag their feet to gain more money. I promise and pray I never have to do this again. EVER. Very dissatisfied.

I am very thankful for Freedom Debt Relief program. They helped me get stated back towards some financial freedom. They've helped me to move quickly to their accelerated program, which will get me moved on and more quickly. Very informative and easily understood staff members. I like that they don't settle any debt account without my consent, which make me upfront on what's going on with my account. And without this program it would be years before I could get these debt accounts paid off.

The person I talked to was a great guy. I’m still not sold on the whole program but will go through with it for a timeframe to see if it is going to work. I’m hearing the fees are high which I wasn’t told much about them. I don’t see them anywhere on the website.

I have talked with several customer service support persons and they all are professional and helpful. I definitely would recommend Freedom Debt Relief services to persons needing with their cumbersome debts.

It is apparent that I need to simply login to FREEDOM DEBT RELIEF, my account, I guess, and try to communicate this way, because when I try to make a phone call…. It just never works out. I think you need to hire people that know your company and policies a little bit better and can recommend good advice to those of us who are on the other side, stressfully, trying to come up with money for these payments when we have other difficult difficulties. Talking to these most of these individuals on the phone seems to be impossible.

I’m so glad that I found Freedom Debt Relief because I was so stressed about how I was going to continue to pay my credit card min payments that totaled about $1200 a month. I have with been with FDR for almost 3 years now and I don’t have to worry about anything dealing with my credit card accounts, the only things I have to do is make my payment, authorize settlements and stay connected to the client board to see how my account is progressing. It's been a rough time with credit score but best way to go. I am relieved that the settlements have been good ones. I am looking forward to the end of my program. This has been an easy process. And I would recommend to others. It's been quick and stress free.

I have just started the program. So eager to see how it goes. I did have to reach back out to the enrollment specialist, for another reason and I felt pushed off to customer service. I felt it was a question for her and when I replied back to her with the explanation, she never replied back. So prayerfully the program goes better.

I had a lot of credit card debt and I was struggling to meet all of the payments so consolidating the credit cards was a great way out for me. The rep explained the entire plan and what my options were and he was very professional along with patient. They also researched and view a great majority of the reviews and I was very impressed after reading them. The rating was very good also for Freedom Debt. Updated on 08/11/2024: I’m extremely happy with the service I’ve experienced with FDR. They are pleasant, resourceful and get the job done. I’ve watched my debt dwindle down with regular progress reports they send me. If you are swimming in debt, don’t lose sleep over it, pick up the phone and give them a call. It won’t cost you anything but a minute of your time…. It’s definitely worth it!

When reviewing my updates I noticed a name that I was not familiar with. I was told it was Student loan Corp and not the private loan lender's name. Conversation concluded it must be a federal student loan and knowing FDR doesn't represent those loans I asked for it to be removed. Consequently it was and as my misfortune, within approximately 30 days after the removal I get served. FDR had been negotiating already with the lender based on the lawyers notes. So I was out of luck, out of time and left in the without any recourse.

For MONTHS! I tried and tried to cover just the minimum payments on my cc bills. Nothing was changing & I was just getting deeper. THE DAY I CALLED FDR, was a life changing experience. The FDR staff/angel was the nicest person and helped me. I hung up the phone with him feeling confident and worry free. The best call and choice I ever made. Thank you FDR, FOR EVERYTHING!

FDR told me I could possibly be sued by one or more of my creditors. It happened. I contacted FDR immediately and I was told they would refer me to their attorneys and told not to worry. Within a few days a settlement was reached and problem solved. FDR has resolved all my issues. FDR’s customer service is Grand.

They are the best to deal with. Always on top of everything. When I need to add to my application another client they did so just as soon as I faxed them the correct information. My program is moving along great. What I like they are always encouraging me on ways to shorten my program and finish ahead on my scheduled end date.
