Since I have started the program back in 2022, the process has been super easy. A phone call to set up the program and a phone call I believe 60-90 days in. After that I make my payments and when they have settled with a creditor I get a text message to confirm and that’s that! A step closer to debt freedom and a better credit score.

I realize I have a lot of credit card details. I just wish I could afford to make larger deposits. With the current administration it is impossible to get ahead. Interest rates are off the charts. With any luck, my situation, and most of the United States, will get better after the upcoming election.

We are a former employer for a client of FDR. They continue calling us knowing full well this employee has not been working for us for 3 years. They continue to badger us, and when they call, and they are impatient and quite rude. This sort of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially when we are not the ones owing money. I understand your employees are trained to be forceful, but what does this attitude gain with a former employer? Also, why do they continue to contact us when they are aware this person no longer works for us? We will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau if this harassment continues.

Because ya’ll are very helpful and I could ask any questions and I get help right away without any problem. Payment are very reasonable. And ya’ll staff are always there to help me out when I call to ask any questions I get response right away. I don’t have to worry about anything anymore because I will get help right away

Everyone is very professional and helpful especially the gentleman that help me to get the program started. I was able to understand everything that was explained to me. I am not satisfied with this program (FDR). I did not know or understand that the fees were this much or I would have found another way to solve this problem. I went to tell someone about this program and in the middle of telling them I stopped because I did not like how they charged me these fees. The point of me getting help is to save me as much as you can and not charge me like that. If I come with an example $6,000 in debt and I do not pay on it per instructed & it goes up to $8,000. Then you settled for $4,500 & now you are charging me $1,500 in fees. Now tell me where that makes sense? The fee should be under $500 if that, because you are charging a fee per account I give you. All I can say is NEVER again.

Everyone has been so helpful and friendly. There was no judgement only help. I had everything explained in great detail. There was support and understanding on every call I have made. Every person has been very supportive. I feel that this was the best decision to avoid bankruptcy and the long term efforts of that.

I've had nothing but an amazing experience with Freedom Debt. If I have questions, they answer. However, when I tried to log in, it told me I couldn't remember my password. But I swear it was this.

Freedom Debt relief was able to consolidate all my bills into one, so I have one monthly bill and I pay every two weeks. And I'm halfway done. If there were 30 credit cards in there, I have three left. When they make a settlement, they email me and I go online right away then I approve it. Their website is great and the payment plan works 100% for me. Their service is worth it and it's great.

It's moving along slowly but thanks. Seem to be going good. The only scary part is not paying the bills. No one has tried to contact me regarding the past due payments. My interest is and when Freedom relief will notify them. When I spoke to the woman in the beginning I didn't get the feeling that I had to wait until I had a lot of money in my account. I thought that they would be notified right away and then they would work with you for getting payments. If I had known that in the beginning I think I would have kept the two smaller bills and paid them off myself and then just consolidated the three larger bills.

Taking too long and feel like charging too much, need to be upfront about the price that is charged for each debt that is reduced, by the time your charges are added the rate that is reduced is not what is showed. Also when started have to give account numbers, then when you call later you want number again because you say company cannot find.

My only complaint is that a loan servicing company reached out to me through FDR and got my hopes up to speed up the relief process, ‘fully understanding’ my credit situation to turn me down because of bad credit. I chose a debt relief process because I don’t have time to commit to this and this wasted my time.

I was hoping to receive settlement offers more quickly as I am struggling with my financial situation. I knew that my credit score was going to take a hit, but the sudden drop from 600+ to low 400 was very shocking and concerning for me. I have been with them for a little over 13 months now. Of course my credit crashed, as to be expected. I had 4 cards on file with them to get settled, they got one down on their own which took them about 4-5 months, mind you they never started working on the others or reaching out to the creditors to tell them that "Hey we're working on this on behalf of x". So after that was finally paid off they started to work on my other card, again one at a time. Another 4 months later I get another settlement with offer and accept that.

The expedited process really was as fast as they say. Representatives very supportive, and the dashboard always provides great updates. My only complaint is two $9.95 charges on March 7th. Why Two??? There is no explanation available. I watch my deposit dwindle before any bill is paid. I am looking for clear cut understanding of where my money is going. Fees are part of the process but $30. Worth of fees before anything is paid. Sad.

I thought you would have at least contact my creditors by now so they had some idea of what was taking place. I am getting several call per day and they have no idea and are trying to get payment from me. I was just in the hospital again and they took my phone away due to call and it increasingly my blood pressure. For the amount of fees you are charging I think you need to contact my creditors and explain you have taken over. I will not be recommending you to anyone else.

It's been good with FDR so far. I like it. I pay a fixed amount monthly which they have in my dedicated account then they pay my creditors. It's much lower. They call me if they have concerns or questions. They email me too. When I started with them, my settlement was in a fast pace maybe because I was with another company before that so my debt had already matured. When I transferred to FDR, it was easier for them to have the settlements already.

So far it’s going good. I was so stressed about the payments. Going through a lot right now. Glad there is help out there. Being single and doing everything on your own is hard but there is light at the end of the tunnel, so grateful FDR is a choice and a chance for better times.

I am very pleased with the experience with FDR and so glad I did not choose BK. After the initial month, I reassessed my budget and increased my bi-weekly payments to speed up the process. After 2 months, I assessed again and increased the amount to complete the program faster. Not even a year in and I have paid off 1 account and have 5 others in structured settlement status.

It's been a very good experience with Freedom. We did all my work over the phone and I only had to call their rep a couple of times to ask him if everything’s going okay. Also, the monthly payment was very affordable and they did everything they were supposed to do. I never got one call from a creditor in 64 months. I got one more payment and then a half a payment and I'll be done with them.

Freedom helped me resolve four accounts in a short amount of time. I'm very pleased so far. I have a couple more accounts to get resolved. Then my credit will increase. I'm so happy for their help. It was very easy to apply for help. I was guided in every step.

Freendom Debt Relief's customer service is consistently wonderful, thorough, and transparent. They share lots of information to set you up for success, and their website is easy-to-use with tons of helpful information there as well. I feel reassured and informed every time I've call or chat with a FDR customer service rep! My only criticism is that I feel it should have been made more clear to me that I needed to switch bank accounts if I had any debt with a bank I previously used. Maybe that should be obvious, but it just didn't cross my mind. Overall though, I've had a great experience with FDR.

When I enrolled in the program I didn't know the settlement amounts to clients would be half of what you owe. I thought I would be finished in 4 years instead of 6 years maybe. At this point I'm not satisfied with the program not what was explained about the program.

Yes I would absolutely recommend FDR to a friend because you reduced my debt to approximately half and when I took out an ACHIEVE loan you quickly resolved almost all of my debt and let me know you are working on the remaining few creditors. It was easy to authorize a settlement when they were ready to settle with FDR and when I had questions customer service department was very helpful. When I had questions about the ACHIEVE loan they would very fast and very helpful explaining how it works.

Put in for initial debt and now most of original debt is not listed. Now when I add what was originally there is now being added and my payments are now larger. Why would this not be monitored and managed properly? There needs to be more upfront honest.

My experience with FDR has been great. They bent over backward for me, to help me out and I really appreciate it. I had a few problems that were interfering with the amount that I had to pay that was due and they let me change it till I got my finances back right again. I had to move a couple of times and put some payments behind and they did that for me. They didn't say, "If you can't pay, you lose your place and we can't help you." They were very lenient with me.

Was told that they would start working immediately on my behalf once my payment was received only To find out that was not true. They don’t start negotiating till you build. Up money in your account. Felt like they told me what I wanted to hear so they could get their money and I am left to deal with the creditors.

I called and simply wanted to cancel the service but the representative kept talking me into staying in the program. I was told I could cancel at any time and receive my money back. So I guess I’m in it now. I would say the representative was nice at all times.

I have submitted 2 call backs within the past two weeks and no one has called, I did submit appointments. I wanted to discuss the lenders calling me and requesting payment. I'm informing them that I'm in a hardship situation and that I will get back to them as soon as possible.

I wanted to add a credit card but my request was not Answered. My Sam's Club store card needs to be added to my account. This method of communication sucks. How many times do I have to do the same thing. It should be fixed. I have reviewed and cannot find any problem

I am still in the early stage of the process, so I do not have much to base an assessment on. However, I do feel that I received good advise and a good plan. I feel less anxiety about my debt, knowing we are working toward resolution, however long it takes. The company communicates with me frequently, and they are helpful when I call with questions. FDR managed to consolidate my 5k debt to $600 this is an honest review and I am very impressed! I have an entire debt program and was in debt 15-20 K so this was a giant improvement on my one card. I will shout it from the rooftops of my great experience!

Updated on 01/06/2025: Do not by any means use this place. They've done NOTHING in 4 years except one of my 3 bills for $ 240. ONE. Had to go to court alone. Represent myself. The court officer even said I got taken. I am reeling over it. Bottomed out my credit so badly I can never recover. Take 300 a month from me automatically. I can't pay anything else. I'm now retired and suffering. They are ABSENTEE except for the girl who reads these complaints contacts you right away to find out why with ZERO resolve. Their fake attorneys just went ahead and gave the suing company whatever they wanted and did NOT negotiate anything. 4 years I want them out of my life like immediately. But they've made it impossible except for my death to occur. Have reported to federal consumer protection, ftc and bbb. Nothing except "you've been sidewalled". Do not use them. Spare yourself. Go to the company and negotiate on your own they will help. Not FDR!!!
