I’ve been a lot more careful with budging to ensure I make monthly deposits. Made my first settlement within 2 months! It’s been helping a lot so that when I continue to deposit I’ll always be able to pay settlement costs. Should’ve done this much sooner. The program also allowed for flexibility for payments. Freedom Debt Relief helps me reduce the debt that I owe to afford the payment that I can pay my debt off with the income that I have. The person I was talking to was very professional and courteous. She answered my questions and explained to me how the program worked and how long it would take. Right now, I have a couple of debts that are about to be paid off and the program is working good for me. I would prescribe FDR to others.

Making the payments has been hard for the last few years after a car accident meant we needed a new car. This led to just making the bare minimum payments, which usually didn't do anything and was a struggle every month with all the other bills. I was scared about missing payments and ruining my credit, and also of being judged (like, scared that if I reached out to the credit card companies, they'd blame me for frivolous spending or sue me), but when my mom suggested I call Freedom Debt Relief (she's also enrolled in an FDR program) to see if they could help, I did.

This company is trustworthy and dependable. I have had little to no interaction with them yet my account are being taken care of as promised. All I am responsible for is making the agreed upon monthly payments without interruption. Companies are not harassing me at all. I am being sent to collect; however, FDR staff will handle the situation on their end as promised and this leaves me with NO stress, I love it!

The intake process is supportive and pleasant, addressing my emotional needs and stress by explaining the process and the legal documents that are signed during orientation.

Now that we have celebrate this bill be taken care of, when it is officially off the list and the start of the next? Is there anymore paperwork to be done by me to them. I want to scratch it off the list. I was curious why you did not start with the smaller bills to eliminate them first instead of last? I almost feel like I should pay the ones that are around six or seven hundred, but won’t. But curious why you don’t do those first or it is best to get the big ones first before they get so high, they won’t negotiate?

Just for older people who are not tech savvy. I wish there was a better way to get you info as we receive it from our people that we are trying to satisfy, I also wish we could work a little harder on the ones that are larger amounts to try to satisfy them sooner. I am very happy to start the program for reducing my debts with Freedom Debt Relief 6 months ago. 4 settlements have been already made, and my pay plan is amazing. My pay plan program dropped, and I have just 1 year to complete this program. The company is amazing with very friendly, compassionate & professional staff. The timing of my settlements is much longer than anticipated. Every time I check the dashboard my settlements are pushed back further. My credit score is impacted much more negatively than if I had negotiated this debt on my own.

I've have had great experience. I don't know what else to say except thank you for your help. I got in debt by trying to help me and my mom move and get things needed for that move so I also can't wait till I can get back on track helping with more bills instead of my mom paying for most.

I am grateful for the help in getting my bills paid off but I did not give it a 5 rating as I believe the fee that is charged is too high. I realize they have to negotiate harder with some than others but they charge a lot of a fee even for the smaller bills and on one of my bills I did end up paying off more than I originally owed on it with all the late fees and over credit fees they added on to my account.

Updated on 07/13/2024: In just about 6 months of time, they have already settled 3 of the 5 accounts I submitted have been settled completely or are in the process of being settled! My credit score is already turning around for the better. This has been an excellent experience for me and will be a big weight off my shoulders when it is all settled.

I was little nervous at first but the people at FDR were professional and polite, very knowledgeable and seemed eager to help me in this difficult time. Signing up was quick and easy. I felt so relieved when I did it. Major stress relief. Would recommend to anyone in this situation.

I can not say enough about FDR. Coming from a family of business owners I have to say FDR is on point. Everything they say they are! THEY ARE!!! As long as you maintain your end of the agreement they will handle everything else and let me tell you for what they do and what little they ask of you it's all worth it.

We sent them a settlement from a bill we had with Freedom debt and they ignored it. Could of saved or 500.00. Freedom debt sucks. What's the point of sending them the paperwork if they are going to ignore it.

Not satisfied with the $300 fee they charge and how long all this is taking to negotiate each debt, but over all it has been ok, just hate all the collection letters that I emailed, but have not heard from this company about any of them or if they even received them.

I want to pay debt off faster and was told I really can’t do that until I get all my debts in settlements, which is fine, however, I spoke with one lady that wasn’t helpful in explaining and the last lady I spoke with was incredible and very helpful. FDR provided me an easy and affordable way to help me remove my outstanding debt and get my credit scores back to where they were prior to my divorce. Communication from them was clear and proactive - I was informed of every step of the process with detail that wasn’t bogged down in jargon.

My experience with FDR is terrible, I had a score of 710 before joining FDR. I entered the program because they told me I could reduce my debts by 50%. I do admit that I had several accounts, but they were all paying well before joining FDR. The methodology that FDR uses is not good, since in my case it results in a negotiation of 65% or no reduction, which then FDR charges fees that in the end are greater than the original debt. That can worsen the cost if I have to look for a lawyer, since FDR's lawyers are terrible and do not look out for the client's well-being.

I have nothing but a good experience with them and they have lived up to their promise and looks like they will finish with my debt that I have inherited when I took in family members back around Thanksgiving. Thanks to the incompetence of the current president and policy that they put in place, if stop all their spending, the economy could get back pre Biden time.

I feel very confident in my decision to begin this program and relief has been lifted from me.

It almost felt like a sales pitch initially with FDR's rep but I kind of warmed up to the agent and then I was more inclined to get on with the process. They were very clear-cut and dry in what the approach was, what their process was, what to do, and what not to do. He was 100% on point with everything that would happen and I was never disappointed because I knew exactly what to expect. They do a fantastic job. I was going through a financial difficulty where I couldn't make my payment and they went above and beyond to make sure that I could make my payments and everything was taken care of for me. The only thing is the price is kind of wishy-washy. I don't understand the pricing process but I do know that that was gonna cost me something. I understood the numbers but it's kind of up to the legal team what they charge. Other than that, FDR is an easy way to get back on track financially. It's a road map to freedom.

First I would like to say thank you for Freedom the solution. Let’s see what happens with my credit solution and if everything pans out the way it’s supposed to be I’ll be more than happy to recommend to a friend. I would like to see what happens with me first.

Very knowledgeable and helpful. Glad I talked to them for my financial needs. The payment is not outrageous and it's affordable. It will be deducted straight from my account and I won't even miss it coming out. I get messages to let me know how the process is going. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help.

The sales rep that I spoke with on the program was incredibly pushy. Not sure why as I'd clearly stated several times I was wanting to move forward. We agreed on payments twice a month and I chose my 2 dates. Later I realized she had set me up for biweekly payments and, for being on a fixed income, it was damn near overdrawing my account. Then, I was told what my goals were on each enrolled debt. I feel extremely mislead as I have 2 debts that are supposedly known for not negotiating well. This was told to me by multiple customer service reps. And still, I was quoted several thousand dollars less on the goal for this debt and the settlement didn't even come close. I have 50% of my debts in settlement, which is really nice and I won't discredit that. But with what I've seen up to this point, I almost feel like I could just do it myself and saved thousands of dollars in fees.

When I was signed up for this my understanding was I would pay you well over $200.00 per month and when you took on a card I would then be left with zero bal due, but it seems you bring the price down a bit then basically I'm back in same boat owing them, plus my credit score took a huge hit and I have paid you every month with sporadic results from you. I am very unhappy with how it has all gone, wish I had never put my faith in you.

Whatever they save you, they take 90% and put it right back on. That is for all their cost, filing, paperwork etc. They are only supposed to get 25 %, nothing more. They don't even itemize and call the company, if there is a deal to cut down a percentage, they let you try to figure it out.

In the beginning, I felt nervous I have never done anything like this before. Now I feel more at ease and secure that I am being taken care of. When I had a question or concern it was always answered. I was shown empathy and kindness. I can now breathe a little easier due to the existence of FDR.

Didn’t know it was gonna affect my credit so bad. I would have not done it if I knew that it did. I will not ever do this again even if I had to. I was making my payments with my credit good, all I wanted was one payment.

I was very skeptical of the program at the beginning. But it wasn't long before we got our first settlement. The debt they settled was our biggest expense, and they settled for over half. Despite a few setbacks, we would have had no chance of fully repaying this debt without help from Freedom Debt Relief. I am deeply grateful for their work and expertise.

I was paying them almost $500 per month to resolve my 6 accounts I had enrolled with them. I did this for about 3.5 years. They paid the bare minimum each month to the creditors so minimal progress was made. I realized with the $18,000+ I paid them over those years I could’ve just taken care of the debt myself. In the end I called each individual creditor myself and negotiated a settlement. I don’t find this program beneficial. Would not recommend. I regret enrolling and I hope someone sees this review and I can save them from the same mistake.

Since enrolling in the program my substantial debts have been reduced. The agents that I have dealt with have been extremely supportive and have quickly resolved any issues. I have been late with a couple of monthly payments but the program has been adjusted to suit. Since enrolling a few of my outstanding debts have been successfully discharged.

Credit was used to get by as the current economic climate left me short on monthly costs. Very grateful to have found FDR. The instructions are so clear and detailed. It was wonderful. Everything was easy. It was minimal effort on my part. Everything was fully disclosed.

Never worry over it, check every few months. So was pleased with how things was handled. Do never really look, just knew had the payment and making sure had money to cover the payment and let the wonderful people handle it for me. So I knew this would be all taking care of and nothing to worry about, so was glad went this way to help me climb out from under the mistake that I build up. And now know not get there again. So thank you for the hard work that all do to help out other in their need of time.

I’m on my third settlement in six months. So far, so good. My only “complaints” would be settling the debts over a longer period than 3 months, so more debts settlements can happen simultaneously. Also the FDR fee should be divided among the 3 months the settlement is taking place. Again, just so more debt settlements can occur. Otherwise, nothing but positive things to say. The experience with chats and actual operators have been great. Thank You!!!

For a process that's relatively complex, FDR comes out on top by breaking things down into easy steps and always reminding you what's next, so you don't get lost. If they negotiate good settlements, they can save you a lot of money and help you out of that financial hold you've been forced to live in.

We used Freedom Debt Relief before and then we dropped them because they weren't really helping us. They were splitting the monthly payments in three ways and only giving us a certain amount of payment on our accounts and it didn't seem like it was doing any good. A few years later, we started using them again and it's the same thing. They make payments to different companies. It helps but it's a slow process. Also, I wish they would allow the consumer to go in and change their deposit amount online instead of having to hold and talk to one person and talk to another person. It's very time-consuming. They could just put that online and the person could agree with that and it'd be done. But no, it takes me 20 minutes every time I have to call them just to get the right person to change the deposit amount.

I think this program is great, it has helped me with some of my debt and I have only been enrolled since November. If you have any questions, they will answer them in a timely manner. I am glad this program has relieved some of the stress in my life.

I was worried about my debt. After I was setup I felt much better. My debt got out of control. I tried to get out of it myself, but it just kept getting more and more difficult. I wasn’t sleeping and worried all the time. Now I have a better outlook.

Have not had much to judge on yet. Just starting the process. Haven't had anything to base any recommendation on. One thing that has bothered me is that I cannot get anyone to tell me what the commission is that I will have to pay your organization for the services rendered.

I think your payments should be pulled out right away as soon as the date comes around not wait two or three days and I also think soon as you join up with FDR you should automatically be calling the consumers so they stop the phone calls. It’s very annoying when you’re at work and you getting phone calls from all these creditors.

So far so good. There's not much I can rate right now. I'm just getting started. And I'm still trying to understand how it all works. But they have been really nice to me and very helpful. And it was very easy to get started. I just made one phone call and they did the rest.

I liked the people I talked to at FDR and their program better. I got a divorce and I was in a lot of debt, and I needed to take care of it, so I decided to consolidate everything. The rep listened to everything I said and understood, and we went through the steps that we would do and how we would get me out of debt. She was not judgmental and very willing to help. I lost my job so I asked if we could lower my payment, and they said, “Absolutely.” It was no problem. It didn't take anything away from the timeline. They were very willing to work with me in any way. It was great customer service. I never talked to somebody who wasn't kind, knowledgeable and understanding.

Lowers what you pay back to creditors but the fees monthly and in each settlement are so high I’m not sure it’s worth it!! I have 3 more unresolved and they’re nowhere near completing them so the balance has almost doubled since signing up for this service. If you can get it done by yourself I’d stay away from here.

Everything was fine with the customer service but sometimes, the language barrier is an issue. And when I asked to speak to someone else, I was hung up on. Plus, I'm hard of hearing. So both made it very difficult. But it might have only happened once or twice. Freedom Debt Relief took care of my debt and I had the legal service. I was served at my home with a subpoena and luckily, I had chosen that service. I called Freedom and they took care of it. I recommend it for people who are in debt. I struggled for several years with that payment but it kept people from calling me, which was the biggest thing.

I had emailed right after setting up this & I wanted it canceled. So I did put in the request to do so through email and I was not granted when I’m low on funds at the moment and I wasn’t ready to start the process fully.

Very good service. Friendly employees. Not at all impressed with the sister company that tries to get you a loan to pay off quicker. I sent them my information 4 times to the address they told me to and still getting calls to send it again. I am 70 years old and had had knee replacement surgery yet I still went to my bank 4 times and had to pay 3 of those to get copies of bank work and they still kept asking for more. Not at all happy with the sister company

Seems you're at a used car lot with a high pressure salesman, they want you to make split second decisions. If I can get mine resolved I wouldn't recommend them. All of these companies are the same, not one different from the other so just find one that you like.
