They are doing good. It could be better by getting it done sooner but overall I'm satisfied with the process. I just wish that it was already done and my score was higher than when I started this program. I didn't know that it would take 6 years or longer to complete

I want to see how far I came since joining Freedom Debt Relief. Makes Me feel good that I have a Company besides me getting my bills paid and soon I will be debt free! I am on a budget and I am happy to know that your company is looking out for people like me.

The only thing I can see that might need "improvement" would be having the higher amounts worked with first and something a little more timely. Other than that, Freedom Debt Relief has been doing wonders for me. I'm about to recommend freedom debt relief to others so they can get their debt worked on as well.

I was told that the program would be resolved and begin rebuilding my credit in a much faster manner. I even paid one of the loans off because the program would not negotiate with them so I guess overall I am disappointed and would have just contacted the lenders myself if I could do it over again.

I'm a currant client who was deceived with regards to the "fees" Freedom Debt charges/was never explained this and mislead to where my payments were being applied. My payment is $396 monthly, to date I paid $6336 and $3433 has gone to freedom debt relief for "fees". I've paid MORE to freedom debt relief in fees than to my creditors. This "program" destroys your credit, and although it would appear the "fees" are listed in the contract (not explained or directly stated) at least not to me. As an example, I was contacted, told FDR saved me 50% on an enrolled debt ($7500 in savings) but never stated that out of that savings, I now am in debt and have to pay 25-30% of that savings as a "fee" to freedom debt relief. So after the fact, that "initial reduction in negotiated savings" is only 20-25%.
I am also, as an added enjoyment, being sued in small claims court right NOW by 2 other creditors (who were ALSO enrolled in this program with freedom debt relief) well over a year ago! FDR has done nothing for me but make matters worse. The creditors I've spoken to told me this "negotiated portion" could've been done by me without the 3rd party "fees". $3433 paid in fees, that could've gone to creditors. PLEASE read the contract thoroughly, UNDERSTAND the "fees" they charge BEFORE throwing away your hard earned money! Don't make my mistake and know upfront what your TRUE savings will be, what YOUR ADDITIONAL 'fees' after reduction will be to freedom debt relief, what this politely ignoring your creditors until they accept a reduction does to your credit and how you still can be SUED!
I 100% regret getting involved with "freedom" debt relief and the fees are nonrefundable. This is a deceitful scam that preys on the vulnerability of those trying to make a better financial future for themselves. Call your creditors, do the negotiations yourself, it's some work, but it will save you thousands of dollars. The creditors told me they'd rather get something than nothing (compared with chapter 7 or chapter 13 discussion) and rather work with the debtors than a 3rd party such as FDR. Sorry so long of a message, just trying to blatantly explain this 'process' so maybe this will better help some about to make the same long, drawn out mistake I did. Good luck and have a better day than I.

So far things have gone very smoothly. However, the numerous phone calls, text and emails are annoying for me, but I understand it is just something I have to put up with for the time being. The staff have always been so helpful and courteous when I have spoken with them concerning anything related to my accounts.

Charles was there for us and was absolutely professional. The setup was relatively easy and we were able to get all the loans or cards on the schedule. I would highly recommend FDR to anyone who needs to seek some relief from debt. Could have been better. Misleading information time to time, need to pay off the loan a lot quicker. Customer service was okay but I got quoted a few different quotes, and it's too many months to pay off.

I loved how patient Brandon was. He answered all my questions and helped me feel confident in my decision. I just started the program. But it is one way to get rid of high credit card debt. I did tell a friend and family member. It was easy to get signed up. They walk you through everything. There is a way to check your balance and they check with you before a settlement. Very professional.

I'm really enjoyed Freedom debt. They're really what they say they're. I love this company and I recommend them to anyone that needs help with their debt. It's easy-to-use. They let you know every step that they do seen you email and text if you need them to. You can reach them anytime. If they are not available they will call you back in 24 hours or less. You get a summary of all your bills. As soon as they negotiate with your bill collected they will email you right then for your go ahead. When a bill is paid out they will seen you the information right then. If you are not satisfied with them you just let them know that so that they can try their best to fix what you say is wrong. I truly love freedom debt. No bill collected calls.

Freedom Debt did everything that they said that they would do to help me with my debt. I sleep better knowing that they are real people and a real business. Freedom debt said that they would do xyz by a certain date and they did it. They are true to their word and they are very good people to work with.

I was expecting to have a dedicated contact person with whom I can readily communicate with. I worked with a co many years back for this same issue and they were much more hands-on. The person who managed my case was always available to me. Seems FDR is too digital and not enough people orientated.

So far things are going really well. It’s a bit scary knowing that my credit score is going to take a hit for several months. But, it would have happened soon any way with how things were going. And probably for a lot longer. Now I have a payment that is easier to deal with and peace of mind.

Have been misled or misinformed about ut program. Was told settlement of account with a balance of 4400+. Now I am told balance is 5100. Was told balance to be settled was 4400+. Now seems to be 5100+ with 50% reduction and 3 payments of 800+, more than half of my Social Security which I can't do. Secondly now and was told that soon to be $1800 can't be used to make these payments...What is its purpose then????

I was so scared at first about doing this but now that I am almost a month in Freedom Debt has already made one settlement in progress. Very happy with customer service and product. It has been a great experience so far. Everyone I have spoken with is always kind and answers my questions. I like that I can add money when I want along with the scheduled monthly payment in order to pay off the debt faster. I like the set up of the online account which allows me to see the payments and how many payments are left.

It's a couple things added to my account I don't recall. When I questioned it the explanations don't add up to me no matter how the agent tried to make it make sense and the date of completion constantly changes and I don't like it and last but not least my payment keeps going up and I was told it was a set payment once I signed the contract but that was also false information.

I have been with FDR for 2 years. FDR has carefully has done their job and I only hear from them when a problem or approval of action. Recently, I received notice from a local count to resolve a debt. I called FDR, was assigned an anttorney with no added cost and matter resolved in 45 days..

Freedom Debt Relief made it easy and affordable for us to consolidate a lot of our debt at one time with decent monthly payments. The customer service is great at keeping us updated and in the loop on all transactions that are paid off. I recommend them if you are looking to get out of credit card debt for sure.

Freedom Debt Relief has been very Good about settling my debts and making all my payments for me. They also went to bat for me when I got a summons from one of my creditors. The law firm associated with freedom debt relief handled it very well settled my account so I didn't have to go to court.

This had seemed like the best option for me at the time. When I called and talked to someone, it sounded fantastic. The process is slow and not sure why. I feel for the money I am sending each month, there should be more settlements more quickly. Instead, it feels that they slow ball the process to rack up monthly account fees that are starting to feel like on purpose. I have increased my monthly deposit and it's still a slow process. The communication is not very good, especially when I am uploading documents. I do appreciate their assistance, but I think I would have been better off not paying my debts and negotiating on my own and saving my monthly fees for this service.

I have to stop working because of my health and with the bills piling up month to month, I call FDR and they consolidate everything I owe into one payment and within 5 years I'll be free and my credit score will be good. I want to thank everyone who working there to help me out during difficult times. The monthly payment is marginal and if I have extra money for a good deposit, my graduation be done sooner.

I expexcted Freedom to contact all of the creditors & inform them that I was working with Freedom Debt Relief - Instead Freedom debt relief only contacted the smaller debt first - due to the funds they stated they had to work with - for me that was an inconvenience - I expected Freedom debt relief to contact all of the debt - regardless - to let them know an negotiation will take place - that seems more of an professional way to me to inform the debtors - So far I am pleased with the other negotiations that have taken place - Thank you.

I’m feeling relieved that my debt is going away. Slowly though but it’s working. I’m actually seeing my score going up a point here and there. I know it’s early but it really has jumped a couple points. I still have new debt that’s fresh that I’m sure will drop it again.

I wasn’t sure when I first began this walk with Freedom Debt Relief that it would be right for me. From the first phone call a year ago to today, the support and communication I've received has been excellent. I would absolutely refer any of my friends and or family to Freedom Debt. I'm waiting to hear from Freedom Debt that my account is all taken care of. I been calling and talking to some Representatives to get information because every time I try to go to the port hole dashboard I have difficulty getting on there after resubmitting my password. I don't know but I prefer calling and talking to somebody in person to get more information on when my account will be done. The last person I spoke to they said I had to point that was before September and then they took another payment of $194 out on the 1st of September so I don't know where I'm at exactly right now. Just waiting and excited about being done with it but everybody I spoke to has been very cooperative and helpful.

Updated on 10/24/2024: The people at Freedom Debt Relief are really good. They're very professional and proficient. I like how Freedom keeps me well-informed on the app, and if I ever run into any issues, I can call them and they can work something out. One of my debt companies are in litigation, so they are providing me with an attorney to handle that.
Original Review: I’ve been enrolled in this program for a few months now. I have a debt collector suing me for a debt that is enrolled in this program. This program never reached out to the collector to negotiate at all. And when I sent the information for them to contact the debt collector, they only claimed someone else will contact me as a lawyer, which I’d have to pay for. So unprofessional. They didn’t even know which law firm would be assisting.

I have mixed feelings. I look forward to getting things paid off. Communication is poor. After we signed on getting responses was slow. Before we signed the person answered FAST. I was under the impression that it would take 2 years to finish. We told the rep that we wanted to refinance our home in 2 years. She said we would be completed. We are thinking of changing company.

I know I have access to my dashboard, but I can't take a look multiple times a day, every day. And the bi-weekly payments aren't easy for me at this time. I still end up paying 125 bi-weekly to get these debts down. If I had that I would just pay off my debts. It doesn't feel attainable anymore.

I have been with you before, and I should have stayed with you. I was paying over $300 a month with the other debt consolidation company. It took one phone call and five emails to get the other company to understand that I wanted them to close my account. They would not leave me alone because they wanted me to stay with them so bad. I could not afford them. FINALLY after many communications, they refunded my money. It was quite a fight to get them to understand that I didn't want to be with them anymore. I am SO glad I'm back with you! Thank you for taking me back! Last time, which was about two months ago, it cost me $100 less for your service. I think your price went up $100. I still like you guys a lot better!

After the day I signed up and paid Shawna never followed up with me and I have never been updated on ANYTHING! How am I supposed to pay 300$ and then NOTHING? I’m canceling and this was the worst decision I have EVER made! I never had a problem with paying my bills and my car payment is collateral on the loan. I completely stopped paying it and now I paid everything and want to cancel! I should be refunded because I literally paid for NOTHING!

I was satisfied with the way Freedom Debt Relief handled their business. The reason I needed them was to drop my debts. I had a lot in debt. Mostly, it was credit card. All the papers I needed to sign were no problem. All the documentation came in. The people that I talked to on the phone were gracious. Everything worked fine. They answered all my questions and told me exactly what to expect, and they didn't die.
Some of the cards were resolved. But some were not. And it took a very long time to resolve these other cards. So, in lieu of that, with the reverse mortgage that I was awarded, I pulled the high cards, the ones I owed the most on, which were Discover, and I solved them. I paid them off myself instead of going through the negotiation process. Because Freedom also told me that the Discover cards were one of the most difficult cards to negotiate. So, we agreed that I did the right thing there. They helped get me out of debt.

I have been with Freedom Debt for about 5 years. I debt was over the top and as a widow was definitely struggling. They literally took over my problem and gave me an amount to pay monthly which definitely was way less than my regular payments. Now this month of September is my final creditor to be paid off. I'm new to the program. So far I'm completely satisfied. I have multiple debts and after a couple weeks one of the bigger debts I had went to settlement saving me a lot of money and headaches and now I have to pay a lot less and the best thing is I don't have to worry about the interest which was mostly why my debts were rising even though I wasn't using them. I always paid more than the minimum, most of the time I paid double the amount but it kept getting higher than I could keep up with. Freedom Debt Relief is a better and much less expensive than I thought. Right now I feel like I'm on the right path with Freedom Debt Relief. If you don't think it's for you, it wouldn't hurt to call and talk to someone. They are upfront about everything and they don't pressure you. It's all up to you what you want to do. Freedom Debt Relief has already taken away the headaches because I feel really comfortable with them in my corner.

When FDR called me, the agent that I spoke to was beyond amazing. He answered every single question that I had and talked to me for about 2 hours. He went into great detail about every thing I wanted to learn about and every thing that I was concerned about. I pay Freedom Debt Relief monthly, but it's not like it's a loan company. I pay a higher monthly premium now because I couldn't pay sometimes during one month, so they added it on to my next monthly payment. I am over a three-year plan, and my credit score went really down, but now, it's starting to come back up slowly because they're starting to pay my creditors now. Overall, it's a good program. If anybody's really in debt, they should do it.

When I called Freedom Debt Relief's number, the guy that helped me in the beginning was very helpful. He explained everything to us, and he did good. What helps is Freedom would send a text out. It's a lot easier because they would send me a text and ask me questions and I could answer them through a text. They answer my text messages, or if I was out, I could call them and get answers.
The program has been helping us with paying our bills off. We got bogged down with the pandemic and we had to use our credit card because everything is expensive, and we couldn't afford our credit cards anymore. It gave us more freedom with our money to be able to buy groceries. It's much easier that way knowing that there's a light at the end of the tunnel instead of paying 20 bucks here and there and it would keep going up. Once it's paid off, it will be a lot of freedom.

With 3 of my 6 debts now addressed and in settlements, I have mixed feelings. The fees are a very big burden that was not discussed at all and seems to be stifling further progress. Still happy though with the actions taken. Law firm wasn't the easiest to work with though. I'm hopeful for an improved experience by the end!

They were able to take my high interest loans where other consolidation companies were not willing to accept them. For me, the first few weeks were stressful, but it had nothing to do with FDR. I have been more than happy with my experience with Freedom Debt Relief. I love that they are actively working to get my debt taken care of. It's nice to know I can add a new debt if needed. Does not report to text or answer phones nor answers emails. Starting to regret getting Freedom Debt Relief. I’ve tried to text, call, all I get is an automated message with no way to talk to a person.? They don’t respond to emails either. This is no way to do business. I’m tempted to find another debt relief service.

Consolidated all my credit card debt. They explained everything to me, answered all my questions, and have maintained contact. Keeping me updated with how everything is going. They have already had one card accept the terms and were able to pay off that bill. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I'm more than halfway through my 3 year term and it's been a breeze. Very little interaction, which I love. You make your monthly payments and they send you a E-Mail when they have relieved an debt. Easy as that. This has been a great experience for me so far. You can also pay a little more if you would like to have your debt go by faster.

I trusted this company to negotiate my credit card debt. I was told to stop making the payments so they could negotiate with the creditors even though I was not behind on any of my accounts but I did as they said. They removed 4 of my biggest accounts from the program, despite them being off the contract, without ever contacting me. It wasn’t until I started receiving collection notices from these accounts that were supposed to be taken care of but weren’t that I contacted this company and which is how I found out. Took weeks to get any information or paperwork from them. Needless to say, they left me worse off than I was before enrolling in their program! I wouldn’t recommend their services to my worst enemy!!!

Read your documents before signing up with Freedom. It's really important, I didn't and now I'm getting sued by one of my credit cards. It's better just to settle on your own and when I stopped paying a year ago some credit cards call me to tell me that they haven't heard from Freedom.

They are very understanding and kind when working through this difficult time in my life. As a man it was so hard to admit I needed help. Pride is hard to overcome when you need help and they were able to help me get back on track. If you are in a difficult spot with debt get help they offer. I have been with Freedom since mid-May 2024, and I am truly happy with their swift resolutions to my debt. When I started, I did not think I would make through the whole program, but so far it has been a great experience. It still early on in the process and hopefully it will remain on track, but we will just need to wait and see.

I have had nothing but great experiences with the customer service offered by anyone I've spoken to. So far the only not great experience is how long each debt takes and dealing with my creditors. I just don't know how my credit will ever recover from this which sticks me without being able to move or buy a new car.

I am very pleased. I have had a lot of things going on. I was forced to quit my job due to threats of physical abuse. My husband has had several surgeries due to an infection in his heart and the people I have dealt with have been very supportive and willing to help me any way they could which was wonderful. It took a big burden off my shoulders. They even lowered my payment to what we could afford so yes everyone I have talked have been great.

We have used Freedom Debt Service before when we were successful in paying off almost $60000 in various credit cards. Recalling details of the payment, FDR was able to reduce the total payment to the tune of 40 percent. FDR was also very flexible in accommodating the payment date change. Overall, good and prompt service was provided by FDR.

What a big relief to have FDR handle my debts for me! Would recommend them highly if you are overwhelmed with debts. Great customer service and my financial advisor James was great in getting me started to financial freedom! Should have done this a few years ago and not have to pay high interest every month with minimum payments and principal remains high. Happy I signed up with FDR!
