You will think that after advertising that they have experience and years in the business, Freedom Debt Relief will know how the creditors behave and do. Well... I don't think so because two of my accounts went to a Law Firm and they took me to court. The best Freedom did was to negotiate a stipulated judgment with the firm. I got 80% on my Discover plus Freedom's 20% = 100% of the debt, it means I didn't safe anything. The other account, they didn't settle an amount, actually the only negotiation was to get another stipulated judgment and I can pay monthly to the Law Firm 100% of the debt.

My experience with Freedom Debt Relief was truly amazing. Everybody that I worked with was honest and very helpful through my process. Before Freedom Debt I felt like I was in a dark hole with no light in sight.. But now I have that light in my sight and I will not go back to where I was again. Again I am truly grateful for all the help that I received from all that helped me through this process. I strongly recommend to my friends to contact Freedom Debt Relief if they are in the same situation that I was in.. You are Miracle Workers in my book...

When we joined the program in May my contact Steve seemed very genuine and concerned about my worries. I asked him MULTIPLE times if we can be sued for not paying the credit cards because this was a huge worry of mine. He assured me this cannot happen, that we are protected in Pa by the consumer act blah blah blah... Again he reassured me. He eased my nerves with stories of his wife and how she would be nervous as well... Two of my cards were settled. Then we come home from work and guess what? We are sued by Discover Card! I immediately call them and send my paperwork. The day before we receive this we ended up working out a settlement. It's supposed to be settled in March.

I originally contacted FDR 2 years ago. I spoke with a representative who explained the procedures to me and directed me to websites for more information. I entered into the agreement fully informed (I guess). I enrolled 6 credit cards with debt amounts ranging from $3000 to $14000. Relatively quickly the smallest 3 accounts were negotiated and settled with substantial savings. However, the 3 three largest accounts have become a problem. One account totaling more than $12000 was settled at face value! No negotiation? I had to appear in court twice over this account and ended up having to pay the full amount anyway. I can do bad all by myself. The largest account hasn't even been discussed yet. I am awaiting some kind of summons to be served on that one any day now.

I have been participating in this program since June and only one account has been settled. Am I suppose to be doing something to make this move faster? These companies are still calling me daily. What should I be doing?

Signed up 6 months ago and two of our accounts were already settled. The other ones are being worked on. We're happy with the program.

I have been with the program for about 5 months. I have had only one settlement and I provided the settlement and requested it be taken. I haven't seen any progress since.

I appreciate what you have done to help me consolidate my debt but it took longer than I expected to start making payments to my creditors.

I was wondering how I was going to pay my credit card debts because I was paying ONLY the minimum payment each month and getting nowhere fast. I searched the web and came across 'FDR'. I enrolled in the program about 8 months ago and "FDR" has successfully negotiated settlement terms with one of the creditors. The date of settlement was in October and settlement percentage was 70%. Am I happy? Yes, I am. Thanks "FDR."

My experience with Freedom Debt Relief as up to now has been good. I went into contract with them with 3 credit cards owing just under $30,000. They have negotiated one of my cards so far and got it cut down to half of what I owed. They are still working on the other 2. So far so good. I am pleased with them.

So far, Freedom Debt Relief has been a Godsend. I wish we would have done this a long time ago. It is very comforting know that we will have our debts paid off four years as opposed to "probably NEVER"!

I have been pleased with the experience so far. I loaded 3 accounts totaling $50k. My first account settled with a $10k savings.

I really thought other smaller accounts would have been settled by now. I even sent a settlement offer from an account that was sent to me personally. I haven't heard anything.

I would highly recommend FDR. I enrolled 6 cards 25 months ago. Made my payments on time. 5 have been settled and the last 1 is close. I will soon be debt free and it only took 2 years. I was told 3-5 years in initial consult. Thanks FDR!

I would highly recommend Freedom to anyone. We have only been with them for 4 mos. and they have already reduced our cards by two!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also whenever you are not feeling confident or have any concerns they are always there to talk to and give you assurance that all is on track. There just isn't words to tell how great they have and are being for us.

At a time when I was in way over my head with credit cards debts, they were there to encourage me to take control of my financial situation and the service is very awesome! They keep in contact with you to help you thru and encourage you to keep going and even praise you when you have gotten a settlement! Overall, FDR did get our debt settled and all accounts paid off. However, the time frame and amount was a lot more than they told us it would be. We were told that our payment plan would take 3 years at a fixed monthly amount. About 10 months before we were supposed to be done with our payments, we were informed by FDR that our last creditor was finally settled and now we would have to pay for one more year. There was nothing that we could do at that time and were forced to pay about $7000 more than we were originally told. I learned that FDR had not settled with our last creditor until near the end of our plan at which time, they the creditor had added a bunch of late fees and interest, which FDR basically passed to us. I feel FDR did not do their job as promised, according to their contract. I would not recommend this process to anyone as I would contact the credit card companies and work out a payment plan on your own.

I felt all the pre-consultation and approval was fantastic. I was very pleased with how our rep worked with us and was able to help with getting us started. However, now that the process has begun, I feel there is not enough communication. I am still having a few credit companies calling (some at work) and have been trying to get this resolved. I am looking forward to ending our debt and working with you to do so.

I started with Freedom Debt Relief couple of months ago, and it has been very good so far. Two accounts are settled, and 7 more to go!

I've been a client for a couple of months now and one of my debts has been resolved! I'm quite happy about that! I'm hoping that more will start to be resolved! If there is a complaint, I wish there was more communication from Freedom Debt to let me know what is going on with present negotiations. Other than that, I'm quite happy with the service so far.

I feel it is a little soon for this review at this time, but out of 9 credit cards they have settled one in only 5 months. I have had numerous questions over that time and I have called them and they were very patient and kind with me on top of answering all the questions and making sure I understood their answers.

I have been with FDR for about 2 1/2 months and have not been able to get anything I requested done. I have been begging to speak with someone in charge for over a week. I have called and asked. When a regular associate calls, I have asked them to connect me to someone in charge with no luck. I have emailed them and asked but so far no one in charge has called me.

I'm pleased with the overall progress thus far. My greatest criticism is a failure to e-mail me when I send a fax and request an e-mail acknowledgement of receipt. Also, an occasional progress update would be greatly appreciated.

I enrolled in Freedom Debt Relief after constant calls from their sales department over a year ago who assured me this program would greatly reduce my debt. He also told me the creditors would stop calling after 6-8 months and that FDR would field the calls. I've been in the program over a year and paid my monthly amount on time. With the hidden FDR fee (23% in my case), and when I say hidden, I mean it's not information on your online profile, with the FDR fee I am only saving about $1,000 and continue to get harassing calls from debt collectors at WORK and now a lawsuit from AmEx. I suggest anyone out there who's considering this program to negotiate directly with your creditors, keep your credit score moving in a positive direction and don't fall for this easy money solution that Freedom Debt Relief promises.

I lost my job & tried several other outlets to get a job but unfortunately no luck. Everyone wanted $$$ and no income came out of that. In the meanwhile we lived on credit cards. Max one and move to the next one. My husband & I took every promotion that came our way. Since we both had excellent credit before the credit cards company realized that we no longer could pay off completely what we charged they kept sending them and we kept signing up for them. At one point one of the credit card companies cut us off at what we had spend up to that moment. Since everything else was already max out we were stuck. No ability to pay for groceries, bills or gas for the cars. We were broke.

So far everyone has been very helpful and friendly. You have already settled one account for me and I look forward to more good news on my other accounts.

Negotiations slower than originally discussed, 6 months 1 resolved. This was clearly misinformation but I received an accurate and detailed expectation now customer service spent a lot of time clearing up what was misrepresented initially. We are going to hang in there a few more months to see if we get any more movement. We only have one resolved in 6 months but now that I have clarity I would refer friends just advising them to have a clear understanding from the start. We received many different answers and advice but a wonderful lady put everything out there and gained our confidence.

I was satisfied with FDR as I neared my three year point, and had two accounts finishing up at the beginning of 2014 with one left under negotiation, but they have been totally unresponsive to requests for status on this last account once I got to my three year anniversary. They don't answer emails, and a call gives you the equivalent of talking to the HP's lowest support people who sit and read off of screens. No information, no help, and empty promises. Up to the beginning of 2014, I would have recommended FDR, now I will not.

I signed up with this company back in July of last year. I told them I had a deal in place with Discover, but they wouldn't let me leave that account off. I ended up getting sued by Discover because I had to follow the guidelines set by the Freedom Financial. I was pissed beyond belief when I was sued by Discover. Also they didn't do crap about my other debts. I was sued two other times and had to deal with the creditors on my own, which ended me having to pay Freedom Financial's fees to pay on the judgments against me.

For me, Freedom Debit Relief has been a lifesaver. I had gotten myself in credit card trouble and didn't know what to do about it. I heard a commercial on the radio about FDR and I called the number. I felt a side of relief from the very first phone call. The staff was easy to talk to and non-judgmental. They were my hope and today, I now have my first agreement and will have paid off one of my credit cards by February. Thank you Freedom for helping me to become debt-free.

I signed up with FDR approx 13 months ago and was hopeful. The draft amount that I had to pay into the program was a strain on me but I was determined to stick it out. Things were going ok until I was served with a lawsuit from Citibank. I was scared and immediately turned to FDR for advice. I was told that there was Nothing they could do basically. I was told to answer the suit but I did owe the money so....I received a judgement shortly after. Then, last week I was sent a request for POA so they could set me up with discounted legal counsel in case Chase decided to sue me. Why didn't they do this when Citibank was suing me? I owe CB twice as much as Chase. They have settled a few of my accounts but I was never told that I will most likely receive a 1099 this year for the amount I "saved" which in reality was only the late fees and Finance charges on those accts. which I will have to pay taxes on. I have stopped the drafts from my checking account and plan to cancel my account with them. I only hope that I will receive the balance of my dedicated account and not have to fight them for it.

When I first signed up the updates that I got were every month and every question was answered clearly. Now I get absolutely no updates and it has been 7 months and not one settlement. Thinking of getting out and handling directly with creditor.

After nearly 6 months in the program, FDR excitedly calls me to accept a settlement, (the first of 7 credit cards) for 50% off my highest credit card. They tell me the settlement will reduce the amount I owe over $5000. So I'm thinking, "wow, ok sure, I accept." The problem is, what they don't tell you, and the extent that they go to hide it from you. They don't tell you the amount of their fee. For me this fee for this settlement was $2147. I never knew I was paying that amount in addition to the settlement amount because they didn't disclose it to me. Thus instead of a 50% settlement, it really was a 70% settlement. I only found out about a month later when the 2nd settlement came in again at 50% and I said, "that includes your fee right?" Oops! Exposed! They told me no, and that their fee is in addition to the settlement amount. I ask the amount, got my calculator only to realize it's not a 50% settlement, it's over 70%.

This financial mess we've gotten ourselves into has been daunting and overwhelming, and so when I came to you I felt shaky & like a total flake. But every contact I have had with FDR staff has been consistently positive -- your staff is professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and non-judgmental. That has made a world of difference. As overwhelmed as my husband & I have been, I finally felt a little bit of hope that we will actually get through this.

I am totally disappointed in the services I have received from Freedom Debt Relief. When I first spoke with Brett, he promised me my accounts would be negotiated and settled within 6-8 months. I am not going into my 10 month and I am still receiving phone calls and nasty letters from creditors and only two out of ten accounts have been settled. I also find out that I have to negotiate some of my own settlements. My account is paid on time every month. If I had known about the poor service before I had as much money invested as I did at 6 months I would have withdrawn from the program. They believe they have done a great job settling two of my accounts.

These last few months seem to be moving my life back to being able to live a better financial life. Although I know there is more I have to do. I hope in the months ahead Freedom Debt Relief will be as helpful and I'm confident they will be. I can't thank you enough.

I was very pleased with Freedom Debt Relief at first, then I found out that because of my location that I would be dealing with cni and in the beginning I was pleased and they settled one of my very old debts right away with a monthly payment. What I didn't realize was the 25% fee that was tagged on that used up my reserves. Now it is time for this bill to be paid off and it seems like they're scrambling and asking me questions that should have already had the next negotiation in line. I have been sending them to bills. I have been doing my part contacting them, calling them and it just seems like all they want is my money for my reserve acct. I wish I had 1 acct manager not anyone who answers. I am not feeling very good. I am not sure they have my interests 1st.

I am overall dissatisfied with the time it takes to resolve these debts. I understand why, because it was explained to me last month when I was asked for feedback then. The latency is not what was explained during the sales process. I was told within 3 months, not 8 months.

When I first started my account with Freedom Debt Relief I was very excited. I've been in the program for 34 months and they've been incredibly successful in negotiating amazing amounts on my 7 enrolled credit card accounts. Every person I spoke to was very helpful and very assuring every step of the way. I have one credit card in a settlement that is now paid off and one last credit card that FDR needs to finish negotiating.

Your customer service is very helpful and supportive. Everyone I have talk to has been professional and I have always felt they were trying to help.

They never return calls or emails. They will never give out extensions so you could just work with one person. When I terminated with Freedom, I was able to call the 3 accounts I had Freedom working on and settled them myself in less than 30 minutes and I didn't have to pay over $1,200 in fees to Freedom which is a rip off. When people call Freedom, they are in desperate situations and need help. Freedom is your best buddy willing to help when you make that initial call but good luck getting answers after that because they won't respond back. The fees I paid out to Freedom in 17 months could have taken care of a couple of my accounts. It really made mad when I was able to settle these accounts on my own. They sat with Freedom all this time and they never made an offer to me to settle them quicker. I was able to settle these accounts for a better rate than Freedom supposedly say they do.

I have been with Freedom for 3 months. I have 8 creditors who by the way call me every single day 2 or 3 times a day. I was told by Freedom 1 account was settled then things changed and now no accounts are settled. I am giving Freedom 3 more months to negotiate then I will decide what to do.

I was told the process would take about 3 months to settle with all clients. It has been almost 8 months and only 1 has settled. I get conflicting information from customer service every time I talk with someone. I am not allowed to talk with negotiators, even to ask questions. The explanation of how it actually works is way different from how I was told it would work when I signed up.

I rated my relationship with the company as a 4. My only reason for not rating FDR a 5 is I wasn't assigned a personal negotiator from day 1. It was frustrating for me to have to tell my story over and over again every time I called and got a different person to deal with. I faxed several documents to the generic fax number and the company didn't receive even though I had a confirmation sheet that said the faxes went through. I feel if I had 1 person to deal with and to send info to, it wouldn't have been frustrating. All the people I spoke with were professional in their dealings with me and took the time with me to explain where my account stood. Would I recommend FDR to family and friends? Absolutely and already have done so. Thank you FDR for assisting me get my life back.

This is the best thing I have ever done to help me out of my financial problem. They had negotiated with American Express and citi bank for more then 65% off my original bill. If you are tired of just making the minimum payment with no end in sight this is the place you should go to.

I was hesitant to go this route working on bringing down my debt and improving my credit score but after much research and great conversations and emails with my adviser, I knew it was the right choice. I am more than happy with the service and communication I have received and would recommend FDR to others.

One credit card resolved, 4 to go. The settled account was for 70% of the outstanding balance, which is better than 100%. Look forward to the other cards being settled at an amount less than what was owed when I enrolled in the FDR program.

Freedom Debt Relief will tell you anything you want to hear. The one thing they will never tell you is that the creditor can choose not to work with a 3rd party and take you personally to court even with being enrolled in the program. I was enrolled in the program for 10 months. They were able to quickly settle a debt with Bank of America and told me they were in open negotiations with American Express. I continued to pay into the program and one morning almost a year into it I receive notice American Express has filed a lawsuit against me. I call up to question this in a panic state - I am then told I need to bring my account balance up by depositing over $641 to start the settlement deal with American Express and stop the litigation. I deposited the money only to find out there was no deal. Finally someone I spoke with in advanced collections admitted "Amex doesn't want to work with us. There is nothing we can do." So now I am stuck with 100% of the Amex debt plus an additional 10 months of fees and interest.

I am very happy with FDR. Before I contacted FDR I felt that there was no way out, but now I feel relief to know there's help.

I had a letter from Freedom Debt Relief to consolidate my credit card debts. I was hesitant at first because I already had an experience with one agency and it didn't work. They put me in more debts. With FDR, I have a total satisfaction and peace of mind because I am no more paying multiple customers. FDR is one of the best agencies I will recommend anybody to in order to pay off their debts.

I am satisfied that I did not have to go to court, however, instead of decreasing my amount owing, it increased. The promise that the amount will be lowered, "practically cut in half" did not happen. On top of that, now I have to worry about paying your fee of $3000+? So all the sales talk about helping me lessen my burden did not happen. And the negotiator who dealt with the creditors made the negotiations without even letting me know what the offers were. She just took it into her hands to decide what offer to take. I thought we were in partnership when it came to the decisions with my account. ** I have until 2019 to pay off my debt which I could have negotiated on my own. But thanks anyway...

I am very pleased with the help and service provided by Freedom Debt Relief. Their taking over paying our debts down has been a great relief.

Let's start with the positives. FDR have settled 4 accounts for me and 1 account will be settled hopefully by the end of this month. (The last payment was processed recently according to the cftpay website which I was told by an FDR ACT agent that website was not accurate... Umm, ok.) I think they did a good job settling these 4 (going on 5) accounts in a span of almost 2 years. (I've been in this program since October of 2012.) I have 1 account left in the program that will be done in 13 months. I originally enrolled 8 accounts in this program but I had to remove 3 accounts and settled them on my own because, like what happened to most of us, the creditors were NEVER contacted by FDR - they kept calling me, and I was worried of getting sued again so I went ahead and worked on them on my own. So far, I have closed 2 accounts of the 3 that I removed from the FDR program and 1 account I am currently working on (and they only charge me a $10 fee each month on top of my monthly payment).

After being in the program for 7 months, I thought that more than one of my accounts would be settled by now. Otherwise the customer service is great at keeping me apprised of what is happening.

So far I have been very happy with the results I have had. Still have more to do and looking forward to the same results.

I enrolled in your program late in March. It's now almost six months later and only one account has been negotiated. I wrote to Customer Service twice in the last ten days and have only received the canned ack letter. I get at least four calls a day from Citibank - this should have stopped long ago. Also an occasional call from another creditor - namely Laura ** at Synchrony Bank. She even called at work after I was gone for the day! I thought that was illegal. Is there a way to get out of this?

Freedom Debt Relief has been a great help to me in getting my debt reduced and helping me to get out of debt. Without the negotiating power of FDR, I would still be behind in my monthly payments.

So far I have been very satisfied with the service I've received. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to have those bills all paid off.

I have not made a payment on 6 credit cards since 12/13 & you have only settled 2 accounts. 9 months & only 1/3 of the accounts settled, what the hold up. Gitty-up!!!!!

So far we are very pleased with Freedom Network. We followed the instructions and part of our debts has been settled as planned. We have received information as needed and everybody has been courteous and patient with us when we had questions.

I just like to say that the day that I start in this program, I was a little scare and concern but once everything was falling in place I was more than happy to be in this program. It did help me a lot and it took a lot pressure from us. I will recommend this program to anybody.

I joined Freedom Debt Relief after their "sales guy" sugar-coated their services and sold me on them. I was told that my creditors would stop calling me once I read the Freedom Debt Relief script to them and gave my creditors Freedom's number. That is not true. I get AT LEAST 20 calls a day. I've read the script to my creditors and told them to contact Freedom Debt Relief and my creditors don't care. They continue to call. When I contacted Freedom Debt Relief about this, they back tracked and said that they never say that my creditors will stop calling.

FDR is great company. Please keep paying all creditor for me that all want. Thanks FDR help.

We have been making payment for 6 Mo. now and only one settlement has been negotiated. I also made an extra partial payment. I am getting hounded by creditors. I had one try to settle with me but paying Freedom and them would not work for me. Please settle some more debts as you promised so I can rest at night.

We joined the program since January 2014 and we think that we received a lot of help in our Financial Dilemma! Lots of Creditors have been resolved, to our utmost satisfaction. Signed up for this service last October (2013). Have resolved 2 of the 5 outstanding debts about 1/3 of the total. With the exception of one phone call, the service has been very good. I would recommend them. Please note, they have no ability to help you if you are served with a Summons by your creditor. Having some knowledge to file response papers may be needed.

Freedom Debt Relief has helped me reduce my debts. However, one of the complaints I have is their website advertises monthly settlements for some of the more common creditors such as Wells Fargo, Chase, Citigroup and Bank of America. In the case of Bank of America, which is the creditor that I am dealing with, for the past 12 months they have examples of clients settling consistently for 33% of the amount owed. Yet they settled one of the 2 of my accounts for 50% with their fees totaling over 25% of what was owed. On top of this, they take their fees off the top before they actually pay the settlement. After being in the program for almost 3 years and paying above and over what was expected, I feel a little disappointed in the manner they've miscommunicated what the expectations were for settling accounts with BoA. After speaking with an attorney I've discovered that I could have negotiated the same settlement myself and made similar payments myself without having to incur such fees and had this issue resolved much quicker.

I started this program December 2012 with 4 accounts. Recently one was sent to court and I had to take the money from the dedicated account I had which was $895.00 to have a lawyer represent me for my case because I was being sued for the total amount. I spoke with Kevin and he advised me that if they do settle with me that my amount wouldn't change when my payments were due. So why did we get a phone call saying we have to pay an additional 125 a month? He told me that the contract would be null and void and we would get a refund if the suit was going to be lost. Well that was a LIE. If we started paying for the settlement for 4 accounts and the NEW settlement is actually LESSER than the first settlement amount, why do I have to pay more for?

The representatives have been professional, dedicated, and informative in handling my account. I would highly recommend them to people I know and are facing any kind of financial hardship.

Presently, you are doing a superb job in helping to resolve debt. Can't wait until they are all paid.

I am less than 1 year into the program at this point so I have a lot left to make a full assessment, but so far things have been really good. Every question I have had has been answered and I always get a response within 24 hours or less. They have resolved one of my debts so I can vouch that at the very least they have communicated as they stated they would with my creditors. Based on my experience to date, I am happy with the service and program.

The introduction was impressive, very sugar coated. They made you to believe that within six months your debts would have been settled. In the long run they became two mouthed, you couldn't get a straight answer. My time with them ended with going to court without any kind of representation, my case became public record as a delinquent. At the very end I paid the creditor out of my pocket. Although they did settle with the other creditor they kept monies that was promised to be returned because they never said what their fee was in the beginning no matter how many times you inquired. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FREEDOM DEBT RELIEF TO MY WORST ENEMY. If I knew that my situation would have been public knowledge I would have negotiated with the debtors myself and paid them off.

I have been with the program since November of 2013. I submitted 7 vendors to be paid. To date they have settled 5 of them and most of them were paid off by 40-50% of the outstanding balances. I admit it was a little stressful in the beginning but after a certain amount of months, it worked in my favor very well.

We have been a member of Freedom for 8 months. 2 of our accounts have been settled. The best is knowing that I have someone a phone call away that I can call and get advice. If I receive a letter, I have someone to fax it to who can tell me what to do with it. I had 8 accounts. Now I feel we are getting somewhere. It will take time but I know we are getting better each day.

I love the way I am kept up to date on the progress of my reconciliation. I am further along than I imagined I could be by now and I'm excited that I'll be debt free soon.

We called and was helped the day we called and have received calls every so often to see if any changes or concerns. Every person I spoke with was polite and helpful.

I signed up with this company in January and am now in August with one account paid off at 30%, another about to be paid off at 50% and another having just entered settlement. The only thing I have done is to scan and email any correspondence I receive from my creditors, sign anything they need me to sign, and make sure I have the monthly amount to be drawn from my account every month. Customer service is always helpful via phone and email. At first, I was receiving calls and emails as a courtesy check-in every two weeks. Now that I'm in settlement, they come at least once a month. I am very happy so far, and can't wait to see all of my debt gone!! I highly recommend this company, as long as you are financially able to grow your account to help settle that debt!

I had to stop the draft for a couple of months. I have called twice to have it restarted and was assured it would be. To date it has not.

I was extremely disappointed with Freedom Debt. I feel you were sitting back waiting for the creditors to seek legal action instead of being proactive in settling our debts. You only settled one. It was because a lawyer got involved and we only save 300 dollars of the total debt. We have since settled 2 on our own and were able to cut both debts in half.

I have had nothing but a positive experience with FDS. You have answered all of my questions and been very attentive to my account.

We have been able to resolve 2 of 6 accounts in our first year alone with an average of about 45% of the account balances as the settled amount. Service and attention along the way has been outstanding.

I had a huge debt (to me anyway) that I owed to a bank credit card. This was really the only credit card debt that I had but it was overwhelming. My biggest concern in my case is that they do not try to settle the accounts that have a higher balance. The longer you wait more fees added and finally it is going to be the customer responsibility to pay it all. Because FDR already got their fees taken out. FDR also need to be reminded time to time so that THEY will look into the account. My first settlement was not even looked at until I called them and mentioned about "how I have been waiting to hearing from them about a settlement". These are the major disappointments I have with FREEDOM DEBT RELIEF!!! I have been paying on time ever since I was enrolled.

So far after 6 months, my experience with Freedom debt Relief has been positive. They resolved one debt and waiting on a much larger account. They gave me the incentive to resolve another account on my own. The high interest rates made it impossible to catch up on credit cards so even though your credit rating goes down, it really helps to try to get rid of the debt and start over.. They are courteous, helpful and consumer friendly.. I recommend them highly!

Since joining Freedom Debt Relief I get e-mails keeping me updated on my status, phone calls just to check on me seeing if there is anything they can do or answer. The workers here are very courteous and take the time to explain to me what's going in and what can happen. They claimed to help me but have done nothing at all for seven months!! They are not settling ANYTHING! I am still getting threats of being sued and they made me commit to an unreasonable amount of money a month, so much that I may lose my home now. They will not give me information about my own account! Refuse to return calls and the biggest lie they tell you is that there is no fees unless they settle. That’s funny because I paid hundreds in fees and NO settlements yet!! Now I am trying to just get my money back and can't even do that!! Freedom Financial you owe me a couple thousand!

You were always ready to help. Did a great job. Got our life back somewhat.

So far I can see some progress. My questions are answered in a timely and caring way. Of course I will be glad when everything is finished but I have been diligently changing how I manage my money.

I was in the program for approx. 9 months. I was always calling to see where exactly my account was going. After I would call, things would happen. Paid off two accounts or made 2 offers I should say. My credit was fine before I got in the program, was never late. Just wanted to get in program that I could get rid off accounts in a timely manner. I guess I was in a program that was not for me. I have cancelled and my credit is ruined. I couldn't qualify for anything now. Every time I called I got someone new and always a different story about my account. I can't do anything now so I guess I need say no more but I would never recommend Freedom Relief.

I am very dissatisfied with this program and would not recommend it. In hind sight, we should have gone in a different direction and investigated more thoroughly before going ahead with Freedom. The endless phone calls from creditors even after we mailed a letter to each one with change of address and letters requesting that our accounts be closed. We fully understand that it is our own fault for getting into debt in the first place, but Freedom Debt Relief was the wrong program to choose. Our credit score is horrible and it will take years to reclaim a good score. The other thing is that it has affected the chances of my wife getting a job as companies do credit background checks. Thus, with the state of our financial status being in horrible condition, employers see that as a red flag and do not even offer an interview.

I am working on being debt free!!! So far, it has been easy... I have nothing but nice things to say about Financial Freedom. They have made this experience pretty much pain free :)) Then people from Financial seem to know the pain I was going through and has made my life much better. I want to thank them all!!! I still have a ways to go, but now I see the end of the tunnel.

I am happy that my debt is SLOWLY getting resolved. However, I have never had bad credit and this is hitting me very hard. I cannot trade in my vehicle, move to a new rental, or apply for a new job because I work in the banking industry. I guess I thought this process of settling the accounts and seeing my credit turn around would be going faster. I did not realize and was not told until the last conversation that I had with your company that it can take the entire term of the agreement to get these companies to settle. That pretty much puts my life on hold for over 3 years.

I am happy with Freedom in trying to help My Wife and I to resolve our outstanding DEBT. We have been with Freedoms's program for almost 9 months. As of now only 2 have been satisfied. As of now we can only have the amount designated to be withdrawn on the designated date due to financial hardship. We continue to receive letters from now 2d party Creditors and also calls to my work. I have faxed these letters to Freedom w/response to that they have received them. I will be doing this again as I just received another notice from a 2d party collection company. I also recite the saying and provide the number to Freedom. Where does it end. But all in all I am very satisfied.

They lie, cheat and steal from people in vulnerable situations! They have done nothing to help only make my situation worse!!!!!!!

Freedom Debt Relief has been GREAT in negotiating with my unsecured creditors to reduce my debts and pay them!! Due to loss of income I was unable to pay as they were scheduled so by obtaining the assistance of freedom debt relief, I am able to combine all debt and pay them all off in 4 yrs.! I contribute bi-monthly to an account set up for me so as Freedom Debt Relief can pay my creditors as $$ allows!! My husband and I started with this program about 1 year ago. We made our payments faithfully for about 6 months of 280.00 monthly. In this time we didn't get 1 card settled. We were however sued by Wells Fargo. They were able to negotiate a settlement so that we could pay the entire amount that we owe them. So we saved 0.00 but of course we got to pay the fees they charge for negotiating. I could have done that myself without getting sued and having a public record on my credit report. Plus I wouldn't have to pay myself a fee. Either way, what's done is done so we moved forward. They called finally and offered us Consolidation Plus. They said, "Your payment will be about the same as you are paying now," so we agreed. We signed all the proper documents and got the program started.

Good so far. A big relief.

I've been in the program one year. I enrolled with $46,500 in debt after going through divorce. Prior to enrolling I had never been late paying any bills. My wife and I adopted a child and it was very expensive. Split costs up on 4 different credit cards. Then I lost my job, and my wife divorced me soon after. I've paid FDR over $10,000 and have settled on one of my 4 accounts. If I had at least one more settlement it would be a 5 star review. The people at FDR are a pleasure to work with and always answer the phone with questions I have. Great customer service.

I had 4 credit card debts that was overwhelming. Two of the cards had exceptionally high interest rates. I called the creditor to see if it was possible to reduce the interest rates because I was struggling making payments large enough to reduce the principle on those two cards. I was told that if I could not make the payments then I should stop making payments. I turned to Freedom Financial and they were a very big relief. All I was asking the creditor for was a rate reduction. Freedom did better than that. Thank you.

What a relief! Knowing that your debt will be settled for half (in most cases) if not more than half! I am so happy I got off the debt cycle and got on the relief train! Know that you will get phone calls from creditors at the start but the program gives you guidance on what to do and how to handle this.
