Working with Freedom has been a great experience. They have helped lift a burden off my back. I would recommend them to everyone who wants to pay off their debt. The care and understanding they gave from the start has helped me so that I didn't have to file bankruptcy. It allowed me to clear my debt.

This company has been so helpful in our effort to reduce/eradicate our debt. Everyone has been kind and understanding about our situation and how we got to where we were. We are about 10 months away from being debt free. We could not be more please with Freedom Debt Relief.

So far, two major credit card debts have been negotiated. It was a great relief that I did not have to deal with the attorney representing one of the credit cards nor did I have to appear in court. Overall I was happy with my experience. Unfortunately I wished it would have been more financially helpful, but I guess with any services that help people pay off debt you can't expect too much. I'm speaking of the percentage rate and amount of time I would have had to pay off my debt. It just turns out to be forever, and I appreciated the help but also was fortunate to pay it off early. The unfortunate part is they are still charging my account even after pay off. This is why I gave 2 stars.

Freedom Debt Relief helped us to recover from when my wife was laid off and had a mental health issue. We had tried to sell our house, and couldn't, and we piled up a lot of debt. They worked with the creditors to arrange payments and time to get our debt under control.

I'm disappointed in the fact that I was told there would be a lawyer to represent me if I had to go to court. I get summoned to court and call them to let them know I need my lawyer only to find out I had to call within the first two days or my lawyer can't help. What good is the extra 12 dollars if the lawyer can't represent me in court? That means I'm still in trouble. No relief, still stressing! I'm starting to wonder how they are helping me if I'm getting summoned to court and can't use a lawyer.

Freedom has made it possible for me to not be broke every payday and to get my debts paid off quickly and easy. I feel such a great release of stress is off my shoulders. Freedom is helpful and resourceful.

I was deep in credit card debt, partially because of my own bad decisions, and partially due to circumstances beyond my control, so I finally decided to take hold of the situation and happened upon your company. While technically the issue was "solved," the amount I still have to repay until Feb 2019 is disappointing, and I also have to pay back $5000 in taxes. It's definitely bittersweet. I understand this is my own problem, and I came to you for help. However, I feel like not a lot was really done to reduce my payments. In fact, they're only slightly less than if I'd just done it all myself. I'm glad I learned my lesson with credit cards, because I never want to have to do this again. On a positive note, any time I've called or dealt with a representative, they've been amazingly nice and reassuring. They should all be commended. Having said that, I would never use the service again.

Ultimately, I'm very happy that I was able to work with Freedom Debt Relief. I learned a lot and just about everyone I spoke with there was kind and supportive. As for anything that needed improvement - some things were lost in translation a bit, such as any service fees I had to finish paying after the creditors had been paid, but I've already spoken to some folks about that and felt that I was heard. Regardless, I don't think I would have been able to get through the debt without FDR, so I'm very grateful.

Help in paying off a credit card debt. She was very helpful, returned calls promptly and reduced the stress for me. She explained clearly the options, the procedure, and the possibilities so that I could pick the best one for me.

I requested that the automatic draft date for my account be modified and it was not done. This has resulted in fees from my bank that I now have to try and get reversed. The agent that contacted me about the modification did not respond to my authorization to modify.

I am not able to comment until I receive the final accounting of cost of Freedoms for services rendered. I have asked several times to no avail. How can a client determine the positiveness of the service if the costs are not revealed. I have asked for a billing statement several times to no avail. Is there a problem to receive this information? There was no problem to receive 1099. So send a statement of cost to me and I will give an honest assessment of this program.

My experience with the Freedom Debt Relief Program is a genuinely life saving one. I did not understand credit cards nor did I trust the banking industry at all, and I thought things like this were scams because I was simply not educated on financial planning. But when I signed up with LendingClub, they forwarded me to the Freedom Debt Relief program, and one of their employees, Larry, contacted me, and explained to me my options and how I could get out of the situation that I am currently in. Worst thing we have done. Doing this not only ruined our credit but they turned around and had us do an extremely high interest loan that is costing more a month than what I was paying out. I wouldn't recommend this at all. Plus now we are receiving things in the mail that is going to cost us our taxes. All I can say is you should file to get it dismissed through court. Such a ripoff. We didn't save a dime. Our credit is more ruined than it would have been if we had just filed. So mad.

I should have signed up with FDR a long time ago. I'm excited to see my largest account was settled first and I like the online dashboard so I can see the progress at a glance. I am almost at the end of my fourth year in this program. I was told it will take about 3 years to complete. Why am I still paying all this money for one last creditor? Working great so far. Have one account almost paid off as of now. Working on getting another account that should begin to being paid off soon. I have been getting some medical bills that are complicating matters right now. It's getting harder to keep my head above water.

I was pleased with the quickness of the company in negotiating my private student loans and credit card balances. This company was a great help financially to knock off a lot of school debt that I would otherwise been paying for years. I would say that their interest rates are extremely high if you use their financing loan to negotiate your settlements quicker. You are trying to make a change to better your life, and your credit does take a temporary hit in order to do so. I feel that they should not take advantage of that and give a break on interest rates, because inevitably because you are in this program, your credit score is going to be low.

I am happy that FDR is making progress, but it has really been tight with my other monthly expenses. My son has started work again to pay his half of the monthly bills. So things are looking brighter. September will be tight, and after that things will show steady improvement.

Very good customer service. Always available and easy to deal with. I have had no issues using them and I like that I have access to my account and can see status of each account. As well as see how much you paid in and also see projected completion.

Last 5 months in program was the worst experience possible. I received so many different payoff amounts that will never recommend your program. Also I was sued by a collector because you waited too long to settle. Worst experience possible.

I had a total of four credit cards that totaled over 20,000.00. I knew I was soon to be 65 years of age and would be paying on these the minimum for years after, if I did not get some help. After talking to the advisor on how much to put back each month, we agreed on a little less than $400.00 per month. In about three years, Freedom Debt Relief negotiated with three of the cards and they were quick to get my signature on the agreements and pay them completely with my savings account. One card wrote my balance off because of the time delay. Overall, I was very happy with their performance. I would recommend them to my friends.

Freedom debt services are professional and timely in negotiating debt on your behalf, the sole purpose for joining. I would recommend these services to any person who wants the peace of stopped phone calls, letters, etc. The contact by phone or email is timely with a response to any question. I have called others before Freedom and the services were not satisfying and when someone asks who I am using to help me and mention Freedom the reaction is respect because of their track record.

The only thing that bother me is that I keep getting calls from the debtors. A few of them have not worked with you yet and are not aware of what we are doing. I did as I was told, but I am still getting calls from Sam's Club and Walmart.

Feeling pretty good, just wish I would not be accumulating all these late fees, there should be a cap on how much these companies can keep charging you for fees, they are crooks. I very much look forward to my End date when I can become debt free, that will be a great feeling.

My Discover card is getting paid off sooner, now, my husband's credit card with Bank of America has been wrote off, so I will not have this debt. Freedom Debt will soon get a letter from Bank of America and they can take this card off. He passed away in May. I thank Freedom of helping with Discover!

Have only been with FDR for a few months. So far Happy with the experience we have had. Our team is very helpful and have answered all our questions satisfactory. All of our dashboard information is very helpful and keeps us updated as to what is going on.

When signing up, read the contract very carefully. Especially the part about the fees. Debt may be reduced by 50% , but after fees. Turns out it would be only reduced by 27 percent. Also they will not pay the debt payments until their fees are taken out. They negotiate the highest debt first. So be prepared to make your first 4 or 5 payments as their fees.

So far, since I started this with Freedom Debt Relief only one account has been negotiated out of my 8-accounts and seven more needs to be negotiated. I'm still receiving emails and especially a lot of calls from my debtors. They're trying to reach me to talk & work it out with them. I think the rate this is moving it looks like it will take longer to negotiate & settled my debt!

I have added a account weeks ago and I have not received any info on it since. I called and the man said that it will be approved no worries and told me to give it a couple days and I still have not heard or seen anything on it. I feel like I'm being juked for my money.

Y'all have made my life much less stressful by helping me lower my debt by basically 50%! I love the updates and customer service I have received when making phone calls. The online portal is really helpful so that I can visually see what is happening without needing to make a phone call.

The customer service is very good. It is always easy to contact "Freedom". The agents are quick to act and knowledgeable. I have no complaints about the service after I joined. I do feel as though I was not given the best advice on how to set up my program and would have done things differently if I had not been told that I had the option to keep a certain card out of the program. I don't know if things would have been good or not for me, But done is done and I am pleased with the customer service that I have received after that and am happy with the progress that "freedom" has done.

Since Day one after speaking to a customer rep. I have had a peace of mind, everything was explained to me in detail in regards to debt consolidation. Debt consolidation is a decision I'm glad I have made and hope to see the changes in my decision.

They do not return calls after emailed concerning questions about bill collections. I am on disability and need guidance. I was finally able to figure things out. Was not aware my credit score so much. Very informative when signed up but then you are on your own.

I finally threw in the towel and called Freedom Financial. It was a flashy card sitting on my desk which for some reason I didn't throw out. It was the right time, and the right company and the process of signing up was friendly, supportive, and gave me relief. So far I am very happy with the process. It's easy and fast with credit relief. Has helped us start to get our credit where it needed to be to be able to enjoy life again. And they are great to explain how everything will go when you first get started with them. They tell you which way would be the best to get the fastest results.

I think that everyone has been kind especially Tessy **, but I'm still are receiving phone calls and or letters that are scary to say the least and see no movement in my account as far as contact to the creditors. I knew that it would take a while but I think more communication would be better as I'm clueless. Also I've sent mail that I received to Tessy and have seen no response and I was hoping to get advice on how to handle these situations. I actually would have ranked lower but can't because of how nice everyone has been.

Freedom Debt Relief have been great to work with. They explained their program. I understood our credit would decline from being just below excellent to poor. But I know that we can rebuild. They have excellent tools to increase your knowledge on how to budget and staying out of debt that we got ourselves in. Our creditors just keep increasing our credit lines even though we were only making minimum payments. Freedom has responded to all questions promptly.

After agreeing to settle my debts by means of a high interest loan, 25.99% we still had one debt to resolve. I resolved the debt myself as I did with all creditors without the help of Freedom Debt Relief. I was told that if I settled for less that the loan would be adjusted but instead FDR kept over $3,000.00 for their fee. They are worthless in my professional opinion.

I'm pleased with what Freedom has done to help me consolidate my debt. It's a relief knowing that I only have one payment and someone else is dealing with the negotiations. I just wish the settlement process with my card holders was a little quicker.

Overall I'm satisfied but thought that changing my address and phone number to the ones directed to by Freedom would stop collection calls. I still get so many that I am blocking them permanently. Freedom has already negotiated effectively with my largest creditor.

Everyone that I have talked with during this process makes me feel valued and they seem confident that they can assist me with my debt resolution when several other companies refused to help, even one that I had already secured a loan with and had been a customer for over four years.

Updated on 08/20/2020: Freedom got me out of $42,000 debt. I'm on my last one right now. So, I should be out this year or early next year. The program gave me a lot more freedom where I can begin again, live the way I want to, retire the way I want to, and be able to use my money towards that. I was really nervous about going through the process with Freedom. I was going, “Oh, my gosh, I hope it's the right thing.” But after that, I felt fine. I felt really at ease. I would tell others to call and talk to a representative from Freedom.

Great company, the first step is the person that will call you back. I had a lady that I could not ask for a better person. She never rushed me. Told me all the right things and she was very pleasant and went over all the program. Then I called customer service. When you call and ask questions they never rush you. They are pleasant, kind and very helpful. I would recommend this company.

They concentrate on one card at a time and follow it to the end. Which is good, but that takes time and leaves the others waiting. They don't talk to them or offer anything to them and they then bug the hell out of you. It seems they could do better in that regard.

They have been very helpful and honest with everything they have said or done. The company explained what would happen to my credit the first 6 months because they cannot fix anything that was not delinquent yet. All my debts needed to be in delinquent status before a creditor will talk with them about negotiations. My first credit card was paid off within 3-4 months.

So far I have had great experience with Freedom Debt Relief. They need to respond when people fax in things and let them know that they received the fax. At first they would respond with an email that they received your fax. Can some respond and let me know when you received my fax. Thanks. One grateful customer.
