Was very glad FDR could get the amount owed reduced as much as they did. The loan rate that was arranged I felt was excessive at 23% apx when a real bank's loan rate is 4%. in Indiana. Your customer service was not very helpful with refund of over payment and return of an additional payment after pay off was received.

I liked the way that Freedom Debt Relief handled everything. Very professional, and helpful, I am amazed how well it went, and how much money they saved me, they are an awesome crew. I would recommend them to anyone that's have a problem with credit problem.

To be honest, I didn't see any changes yet and although I started payment but my debts went from bad to worst now since I am getting to Freedom but I am still calls from the credit/loan issuers. I changed the # but still they manage to come through but I don't answer. The late fees mount a lot and I don't actually understand how this Freedom Debt Relief really works because when I joined at first they explain to me that they will pay all my debts and I will repay to Freedom. But after I called later they tell me a different story which means that I have to pay them. If Freedom don't do anything change then I will call lawyers indeed.

I do not believe I could have paid this off on my own any quicker. I thank you for all your help. The payments made it possible for me to maintain my lifestyle and to keep up with other obligations that I needed to pay.

Joined FDR Oct 2014 with over $40,000 in credit card debt. FDR neg debt down almost 50% in repayment. One creditor I owed $20,000 and it - was neg down to $4000! Your credit will temp suffer but better than bankruptcy! Remember forgiven debt could be construed as income. Beware of IRS Form 1099-C... I am now credit card debt free!!

Your negotiating and settlements were awesome. I should of stuck to the $500.00 payments to the card people for the approximate $18,000 for about three years, and been done. Your loan to pay them off and pay $601 for five and a half years I'll be paying $40,000. That 24% interest is not nice. Shame on y'all. How can you sleep knowing you've that to me. How can you look yourself in the mirror in the morning and say we helped people?

It was Almost painless... now all my debt is gone. Took several years but it worked. Everyone was helpful. The only part I had a problem with was when the credit card company forced me to settle with them and would not allow Freedom to do the Settling.

I signed up for this program and they were able to get my debt reduced. However, they then sold me on the idea of financing my remaining debt with them. I found out later that they were doing this under another name and charging me 21% interest. My credit score dropped for over a year which I expected. I didn't expect to transfer my debt from my credit cards to go from 12% to 21%. They talk about how much money I saved. I didn't save anything when you consider the additional 9% interest, the hit to my credit, and the fact that my payments are still over $400 per month. Due to the credit drop, I am not able to refinance the amount that I owe with an unsecured loan. I could refinance my house and pay additional closing cost. Who wins. Awesome & pain & worry free. Setting this up was easy, I was worried & scared. They made the experience great, the money came out bi-weekly out of my paycheck & that was great, did not have to worry about it, have not even thought about getting any credit card debt, if Freedom did home improvement loans that would be awesome, my husband & I are looking into a home improvement loan, not refinance, we have a good VA loan with great rate, thanks for making my life stress free.

Very happy with the outcome except that the interest rate is so high, and we were not advised. We have been told we can refinance and get a lower rate after 6 months. If we had known it would be so high we would not have started the process. Come December we will know more.

They kept me paying on last card until they had the whole amount, then said settled for six out of nine thousand, and credit card wanted it in two payments. So they took out 1200 each time service charge. Not aware of this before. Feel taken advantage of!

It took 2 representatives for me to understand that when they say, "There is no prepayment penalty", they don't mean I have to pay the loan on my own, I can refinance with someone else and avoid high percentage rate.

I did get what I was promised, but it was at a premium rate. I had to negotiate with my creditors on most occasions, but most calls were initiated by FDR. I thought the tracking portion of the website was very helpful too. If the cost was a bit lower, it would have been worth it.

When I first approached Freedom DR I was desperate in that I could not meet the minimum payments on my $30K+ credit card debt. So I was having to make hard choices each month as to which creditor got its minimum paid. After that was done I barely got by with enough to pay my mortgage and other living expenses. Your initial information was very erroneous. I was led to believe that you would pay off my loans and I would pay you back monthly. Oh so wrong... I am happy to have had my situation resolved. I did notice a difference in the quality of FDR reps. as I called in -- wasn't happy with that. I also thought that FDR was not that active on a few of my accounts. I ended up contacting the creditor. Got the ball moving and FDR took their fees essentially getting money for nothing. Never did get my closing packet with the paperwork I was promised. Back to where I started. This may seem in contrast; but I am happy with FDR's assistance and have benefited greatly. I dug myself a hole and they DID help me out of that -- and GOD BLESS KAALENE **.

I know I would not have been able to pay off credit card balances without Freedom "but" I was misled about how my cards had to all go to credit bureau before anything would happen with my accounts. Judgments took me to court more than once & I was told, "If you pay more money we can have lawyers help you" & I had no extra money to give. When my judgments had 1 company threatening jail I did get a very high interest loan through them to pay off all my account balances.

When we were paying $850 per month through Debt Relief, we were ok, although it was a challenge. When the loan option became available, we were thankful for the opportunity. But now we're paying $1028 per month and it is worse than when we began with Freedom Debt Relief.

I would like to thank all the staff from Freedom. They resolved all my debts as quickly as possible and kept me informed with what they were doing. They were also kind and respectful when talking on the phone so once again thank you for all your help.

Didn't know what they were doing most of the time!!! One person said that something would be taken care of, and that never happened!!! Always wanted to add more fees!!! Would not recommend to anybody. POOR SERVICE AND EVERYONE HAD AN ANSWER even though they usually were wrong!!!

Overall experience was positive. Only at the end there was some confusion with the fees I owed, but it was fixed at the end. It was worth the trouble, they saved me a bundle of money and I learned a valuable lesson.

Freedom Financial was truly a blessing for my family. I was financially drained and was at the mercy of monthly, endless, credit card interest rates. I am proud to say that my credit score is above 700! It has been less than 2 years of re-establishing this 700 score!

They really have your back on all areas, but there's so much "fine print" that came up, so you have some work to do on your own. Ultimately saved money & mostly time in debt and helping your credit score.

While settling my largest debt, you were unable to negotiate with Discover, which sued me for the full amount. After paying taxes on the settled account and paying off Discover, I would have been better off settling the debt on my own. I was assured that Discover would work with you and it ended up adding $2,000+ in interest. You all were very unprofessional and misleading. I would never want anyone to have an experience with your company!

At first I was skeptical but once the monthly payment was established and my settlements with my creditors kept getting resolved quickly and to my complete satisfaction I was very happy. Once I got down to a reasonable amount left one of Freedom's partner companies came in and before offered me a loan to pay off my debt in full and I would pay them a monthly payment with very low interest and I believe it was 30 months and I was debt free. I would recommend Freedom Debt Relief to anyone. Take the leap. You can't do it alone.

I have to say Thank You to all Freedom Financial employee that has helped me. I was on a downward spiral. I had been laid off from my job that I made great money. When I got laid off we lived on credit cards just to get by power bill, groceries, thing you need to survive. I found another job but I was not making what I was. I went from make 35,000 a year to 23,000 a year. It's hard to pay bills and get ahead with such a drastic difference. They helped me through it and got me back on my feet and debt free. It was very hard for me to make this decision but I had to do something. Yes my credit score of 740 dropped but I'm rebuilding it. I also learned a valuable lesson. Don't always think you're going to have that good paying job because sometimes things happen. Thank you all!!!

I entered Freedom Debt Relief over 2 years ago after being a victim of tax fraud. I had been thinking about for several months prior to my tax fraud and that sealed the deal. Freedom was extremely helpful and supportive during this process. As someone who paid their bills each month on time it was difficult to stop paying but Freedom walked me through the process with scripted replies for bill collectors. I was lucky to have 3 accounts settled in the first 5 months. My timely payments made me eligible for Freedom's loan program and I was able to settle all my debt in the first year in program. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to clear their debt and rebuild their credit score.

I was pleased with the help I received from FDR. I don't think I could have paid my debt without the help I received from them. I would like to see more help offered in the area of once a person has completed the program. They are staying on track of remaining debt free.

First they destroy your credit - encouraging you "not to pay the credit cards monthly". They have you change your contact info so the banks can't buy you. Then they make you wait for 6 months while your credit tanks, the collections bills start piling up while they "negotiate" with the banks. Then, surprisingly you get a notice that one of the banks is taking you to court. You can Freedom Financial (or what-ever they call themselves, which seems to change from week to week) and they snicker and tell you that some banks are "aggressive in collecting debts" and that the best way to hold them off is to take a loan out from them (at a RIDICULOUSLY high rate) to pay off the more aggressive banks.

Freedom Debt Relief took care of everything! We are now debt free and able to pay off bills without all the interest building up and overwhelming us. I thought we were going to lose our farm when my husband lost his job and Freedom Debt Relief kept that from happening.

Although I completed my contract with Freedom it took more than a year to complete closer and every time I called I would get a Rep that would say they were going to expedite my issues to management... I wish the process would have been better.

Freedom Debt did assist with my Prosper Account however I just received a letter from Navy Federal for collection which I will be contacting someone today. I need to ensure that this account is looked into. Once this account is worked I will be pleased with Freedom Debt Relief.

Freedom deleted from my credit profile thing as that were not really as important as my debts and credit score. My credit score remain the same. The files 1099C were never looked at and instead put away as out of date. The employees never knowing what a 1099C tax form is. They were never trained in such matter. It was the primary reason for failure in clearing my credit.

To slowly watch the debts get erased was very nice to see, to watch the pie chart slowly change, each night checking in to see if it had change, even when our bank account was frozen by one of our creditors we paid with money order, it still went smoothly.

Was very relieved when Freedom said they could help me reduce my credit card payments. Very friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend Freedom to anyone suffering from credit card debt. My payment dropped by 500$ a month and my credit is good now.

Overall, I am happy with the experience. I do feel like they misrepresented the effect this would have on my credit report. When I signed up they said they would resolve the balances with the creditors within a few months which is completely untrue. It can take years. You have to endure a lot of late payments before they resolve your balance. Consequently, you need to be aggressive with FDR about resolving your credit amounts. Once I did that, things were great but if I didn't do that, it would have been worse.

I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who has been treading water and not able to get to shore even though you see land in front of you. Freedom Debt Relief helped us to finally breathe and work towards a better credit score. Thank you to all that worked with us. They were always kind and compassionate.

The advice caused us more harm than good. They resolved only one debt and we fired them and settled the rest ourselves. I would never recommend them to anyone. It caused us to destroy our credit rating and cost us extra money. They gave us varying answers depending on to whom we spoke.

For the amount we had we would have been better off not going through FF. The amount of upfront cost and the grief we went through was absolutely not worth it! We ended up with an extremely high interest loan to pay off the credit cards, and really saved very little in the long run, ruining our credit.

I was upset when I found out I had to pay all the savings back. That's not savings at all. The interest rate on the payback is ridiculous. Over 22%. I thought you got them to negotiate and that was it. I never knew I had to pay such a large sum of money back. The only thing I am pleased with is my credit is not ruined. Freedom Financial helped me to get out from over $40,000 in credit card debt where my options were Freedom Financial or bankruptcy. I went with Freedom and was able to pay down the credit card debt and not completely destroy my credit. Yes my credit took a hit, but not as much of one if I had filed bankruptcy. Yes, Freedom Debt Relief did good job in negotiating with the bankers and settling the outstanding dues but all the accounts were closed with a negative comments that are reflecting on my credit report as a serious delinquency. I am now having problems in getting a loan due to these negative comments on my credit report.

I was sued 3 times while going the process. Currently being sued for a bill that was settled. I was very dissatisfied with this company because they are not attorneys and can not offer any assistance in this area. After I completed the program they wouldn't provide the financial information to stop this last suit even when they said they would supply this information thrice. Also, but not least my wages were garnished. My advice would be to hire an attorney to handle this.
