I can only say great things about this company. They treated me with respect and did everything they said they could do. Very helpful over the phone and notified me of every change that was taking place, kept me informed at all times. I highly suggest using them if you are in any debt problems. You will not be let down.

Although the experience and customer service was wonderful. I would only recommend that your customers are very clear on receiving the 1099C for settled debt. After accepting the settlement loan option to clear our debt faster we did incur a $8200 debt to the IRS, which @ $125/mo will take some time to pay off. I still would recommend a friend but would advise them to weigh their options. Stay with the program or enter into the C+ loan option depending on their money situation. Either way they may receive a 1099C but 1 or 2 a year vs 7 all at once could be a deal breaker. Thank you for your service.

I Prayed To GOD that he would answer my prayer and help me out of a difficult financial situation. He did just that. He sent me to Freedom Debt Relief. The Staff is friendly and can relate to the problem of serious debt. I was in my early 50's and starting to panic how could I pay off all this debt in hopes to retire. In less than 3 years They negotiated settlements and the money I gave them paid off all those bills that a was a slave to. I had a great experience with Freedom, the process was smooth, the personnel very knowledgeable and kind. Very happy with the experience although when I told them my last account had been paid and to stop my withdrawals, they did continue for a bit and I did not get all my money returned from the time I told them to stop, until the time they actually did stop.

The program help me reduce my debt and improve my credit score. The program should add a feature allowing a participant during the four (4) years to be able to suspend participation for up to 60 days if there is an emergency.

The debt relief process was very simple and did put my mind at ease. There was one company that I had to call and contact myself to settle the debt. The downfall of my experience was going in with an over 700 credit score, and once they recommended getting a loan to settle the debt faster, I was given an APR based on a 500 credit score and very dissatisfied that I would have paid less in actual debt but more in actual interest considering the average interest rate on most cards were 10-15%. I was in a loan at 29-32%. I feel you should run the credit before the process starts to get an interest rate for the loan, not afterwards. I felt trapped, and forced to take the bad interest rate to keep my credit score from dropping anymore. I'm thankful to be debt free, but disappointed with how I felt taken advantage off.

The only thing I disliked was the fact my credit score tanked. It has taken me awhile to raise it and it has been a pinch for a few months. Other than that, they fulfilled my obligations and I was debt free within several months.

Having never been in debt before (and not liking the helpless feeling about the situation) I have been relieved to have an organization that is so helpful and dependable. It has been difficult each month to make ends meet, but the PROCESS has been smooth. Even my request for one month of no payment was readily granted. Now I am hoping to pay off the entire remainder of the loan in October. After the expected funds are deposited to my bank account in October, I will contact FDR and make final payment!!!

In the beginning, everyone couldn't have been nicer and were very helpful. After paying for six months, I started calling many times for a month. I was finally told they were having trouble with one creditor and maybe I should call them. I did and almost halved balance. In less than an hour they faxed Freedom authorization Agreement. Reps were not as friendly after this point. They had me with an exorbitant interest rate.

I have little time in the program, but I am very happy to have made this decision. All the advice has been correct and I am seeing good results, everything is clear and precise. Great customer service. Very professional and friendly. Good tools and resources.

Overall I'm glad I took the steps to be debt free. However was promised that most accounts could be settled for 50% or lower when in fact it was more like 25% leaving me with a higher monthly payment than expected but my debt is my debt. I just wished they were a little more honest with what to expect.

I was told in June that a settlement was made with Barclays Bank. 900+ was paid on 30 June and the second/final payment 4 July. I checked the company dashboard which said it was paid but remained on the board. Concerned, I called and was reassured by a Gus that all was well. When my husband and I both got letters from Bank of America freezing his line of credit, they listed me owing Barclays. I called Freedom Debt Relief and was reassured all was taken care of. When I got a FINAL notice from Barclays I called and sent the info to Freedom.

Though I had to remind you that I had signed up for a 40 month program and you tried to convince me that I should continue to pay beyond the contracted period, which I refused to do, you did eventually resolve the issues. I would recommend your services to others, but would caution them to do the same.

We were not very happy with our experience with Freedom Financial. I felt like we weren't told all the contra indications this would have towards our credit scores. When we signed up for program we weren't behind on anything and thought we were going to better ourselves, but we in turn hurt our credit. Yes we did pay things off sooner than we would have but a loan would have been much simpler for us. Just felt the program was not explained well at all and customer service was terrible! We had many heated phone calls with different customer service reps and everyone told you a different story! I would not recommend this program to anyone. This was just not a profitable decision for us at all and totally regret ever choosing this program.

At first, I would say I was not very happy with your company. I was upset in the way that the settling process was handled. While I was told not to take calls from the credit card companies and leave the bills go unpaid, it in turn tacked on more late fees and finance charges causing my debt to be even greater. At times when I called to check on this, I was told that there was no offer made until the credit card company sent a letter of turning it over to the collection. I do not feel this is the way to handle this issue. Those in debt are already stressing over the amount they owe and shouldn't have more debt added to it, which in turn, causes more debt and even lower credit scores. This needs to be rethought.

They made it an easy process for debt relief and were helpful all the way through. I always received help when I called. Communication was superb. It was great to be able to let anyone calling know to speak with them so I didn't need to be hassled.

The process was easy and it relieved a lot of stress I was feeling. Very informative as each negotiated debt was approved and I could watch myself get closer to being debt free. I have always paid my debts, but owning our own business took on a whole new side of financing that we just could not keep up with and life got a little harder. The only downside was that there was no help or consultation provided to help you improve your credit scores. I was lied to from the start of the program about just about everything. I did everything I was told to do and all it did was get me several summons from creditors who were suing me because I stopped making payments like I was told. Then once I was in between a rock and a hard place I had no choice but to accept a very high rate loan to keep me from getting sued. Also I could end up paying more than my debt was in the first place in. I have made all my payments and will continue to do so unless I can find someone who will refinance the loan at a lower rate. This is not very likely because I can't even get a credit card because of my experience with Freedom. I was going to file a complaint with the BBB but knew it would not do any good anyway. So I will just keep paying my loan payment until I can be done with you forever. And no, I would not recommend Freedom to anyone.

When I started with FDR, I felt like they were sincerely trying to help me get out of debt affordably and keep my credit score in decent shape. When you see the ENORMOUS amount of interest they are charging you, you know the affordability aspect of their altruism is a crock. On top of that, they don't tell you that any amount written off by cc companies becomes INCOME for you and must be reported and have taxes paid on the amount. Then you see that your credit score has gone from fair to nonexistent because they won't start negotiating with your creditors until you are 8 or 9 months behind on your payment. They don't tell you this when they tell you, "Okay, you're a part of the program and we will take care of things from here.” There really are no "good guys" anymore.

When I began this process, I could see no light at the end of the tunnel. I was a slave to my debt and had no plan to resolve the enormous "normal" mounting expenses. FDR and Consol. Plus provided great resolutions and reasonable payments and timelines. My credit score is returning to the 750 mark after only a few years and so am nearly debt-free after nearly 29 years. Hooray!

We were able to reduce our debt and got lower payments. We did have to do some work with certain creditors. Some of the creditors would not work with a debt relief company so we had to call them ourselves. Overall we were generally satisfied with how it all played out.

Was very glad FDR could get the amount owed reduced as much as they did. The loan rate that was arranged I felt was excessive at 23% apx when a real bank's loan rate is 4%. in Indiana. Your customer service was not very helpful with refund of over payment and return of an additional payment after pay off was received.

To be honest, I didn't see any changes yet and although I started payment but my debts went from bad to worst now since I am getting to Freedom but I am still calls from the credit/loan issuers. I changed the # but still they manage to come through but I don't answer. The late fees mount a lot and I don't actually understand how this Freedom Debt Relief really works because when I joined at first they explain to me that they will pay all my debts and I will repay to Freedom. But after I called later they tell me a different story which means that I have to pay them. If Freedom don't do anything change then I will call lawyers indeed.

I do not believe I could have paid this off on my own any quicker. I thank you for all your help. The payments made it possible for me to maintain my lifestyle and to keep up with other obligations that I needed to pay.

Joined FDR Oct 2014 with over $40,000 in credit card debt. FDR neg debt down almost 50% in repayment. One creditor I owed $20,000 and it - was neg down to $4000! Your credit will temp suffer but better than bankruptcy! Remember forgiven debt could be construed as income. Beware of IRS Form 1099-C... I am now credit card debt free!!

Your negotiating and settlements were awesome. I should of stuck to the $500.00 payments to the card people for the approximate $18,000 for about three years, and been done. Your loan to pay them off and pay $601 for five and a half years I'll be paying $40,000. That 24% interest is not nice. Shame on y'all. How can you sleep knowing you've that to me. How can you look yourself in the mirror in the morning and say we helped people?

It was Almost painless... now all my debt is gone. Took several years but it worked. Everyone was helpful. The only part I had a problem with was when the credit card company forced me to settle with them and would not allow Freedom to do the Settling.

I signed up for this program and they were able to get my debt reduced. However, they then sold me on the idea of financing my remaining debt with them. I found out later that they were doing this under another name and charging me 21% interest. My credit score dropped for over a year which I expected. I didn't expect to transfer my debt from my credit cards to go from 12% to 21%. They talk about how much money I saved. I didn't save anything when you consider the additional 9% interest, the hit to my credit, and the fact that my payments are still over $400 per month. Due to the credit drop, I am not able to refinance the amount that I owe with an unsecured loan. I could refinance my house and pay additional closing cost. Who wins. Freedom Financial Wins every time.

Debt consolidation was recommended to me by my sister. I received all the information and answers to a list of questions I had before signing up. Initially this was a great experience because it got me out of danger immediately. However, I was promised that I would be able to refinance down the line but the refinance rates were more than what I was already paying. Consul plus a rip. However, I got out of the second loan because I upgraded my house and paid off this debt. Not a serious problem but I was not fully aware of things.

I don't remember the name of your "outstanding" cold call Rep that took her time and three separate days of answering my questions, before I agreed to enroll (please review of file). The (1 - star) is for the other members of your staff that wanted to cancel my contract and add $2000 to my account (3.5 yrs. into it) before they reviewed all the telephone recorded information available to them (again, please review my files). They treated me like I was wrong and they did not need to know the facts. Also when they did review the facts, they never apologized- they just said "We will correct it". Freedom Financial you saved my life. I now have a healthy saving account, planning to buy another home and most importantly I am credit smart now. Thank you!!!

Awesome & pain & worry free. Setting this up was easy, I was worried & scared. They made the experience great, the money came out bi-weekly out of my paycheck & that was great, did not have to worry about it, have not even thought about getting any credit card debt, if Freedom did home improvement loans that would be awesome, my husband & I are looking into a home improvement loan, not refinance, we have a good VA loan with great rate, thanks for making my life stress free.

Very happy with the outcome except that the interest rate is so high, and we were not advised. We have been told we can refinance and get a lower rate after 6 months. If we had known it would be so high we would not have started the process. Come December we will know more.

They kept me paying on last card until they had the whole amount, then said settled for six out of nine thousand, and credit card wanted it in two payments. So they took out 1200 each time service charge. Not aware of this before. Feel taken advantage of!

Overall it was a very beneficial experience. We got rid of all the numerous bills and now just have 1. It was never explained to us that the forgiven debt is taxable income and is taxed. You need to inform people of this. It created a huge problem for us.

There were two things that left me a bit unsatisfied. One was that one of my creditors filed a law suit against me and I had to deal with it on my own while on the program. The instructions from Freedom Relief were not clear for me. The other thing was when I was offered a loan to pay off the debt all at once. It took 2 representatives for me to understand that when they say, "There is no prepayment penalty", they don't mean I have to pay the loan on my own, I can refinance with someone else and avoid high percentage rate.

I did get what I was promised, but it was at a premium rate. I had to negotiate with my creditors on most occasions, but most calls were initiated by FDR. I thought the tracking portion of the website was very helpful too. If the cost was a bit lower, it would have been worth it.

When I first approached Freedom DR I was desperate in that I could not meet the minimum payments on my $30K+ credit card debt. Your initial information was very erroneous. I was led to believe that you would pay off my loans and I would pay you back monthly. Oh so wrong...
