I asked to have a creditor contacted and I was told that they don't do that until it is time to settle that debt. I have two creditors that are "bugging" me and it would be great if I could get them off my back. Unfortunately, they are at the end of my settlement and I will have to deal with them and pray they don't decide to file a lawsuit.

Would highly recommend to get out of debt. Makes it easier to get paid off with monthly payments you can afford. They can get what you owe down a lot, which really helps. You can go to your dashboard and see everything that is being done. Simple and easy. You can add extra payments if you want to get it paid quicker.

Freedom allowed me to finance the repairs on my vehicle and pay it off interest free. So I was able to continue my normal life and not have to worry about the stress of paying for the repairs and bills. I would definitely reuse the service again if I need it.

So far very happy to be apart of this program that going to help me get my credit back in good standing. My goal with this program is to buy a house in the future so whatever it takes I'm willing to do to make this work for me.

I sent documents about upcoming court about court hearing and no response from you people. Then it went to court while I moved to Oklahoma. The creditor got settlement and now I’m paying garnishments out of my pay check. I did my part and they got settlement against me with no help or advisement from you.

They do what they said they would do. I love that I’m kept informed. It’s great to have someone working on your behalf! It’s such an amazing feeling when one by one acts gets resolved. To see them ask if it’s ok with you the negotiation amount. Know every step of the way the going on!

I’m very happy with the progress of my debt program. The staff is patient, understanding, and kind. Everything I was told would happen has happened as my team said it would. I was quite skeptical at first but I’m very happy that I made that call. I’m a very happy customer.

They've done an excellent job in terms of helping me get out of the heavy credit card debt I have. They notify me when the creditor agrees to settle the debt and it's about 3/4 of what I actually owe. My advisor is also helpful and has been great at answering my questions.

When I signed up I was assured I’d have a dedicated account manager. I tried contacting him after paperwork was signed because a debt was left off and I never heard from him again. I was also told 4 years to completion and it is going to take closer to 6. I constantly submit documents from creditors contacting me and I just get a response that it was received. Nothing has been done. More than one account has gone to collections with FDR doing nothing. I was led to believe they would be a go between for me.

Very friendly and helpful with my issues. Kristen ** was very helpful and went through how things would occur in the next few months. The monthly payments are set so that it won't be stressful for me. Walked me through each step of the process. I just need to get the number to give out when calls start coming in. I forgot to get this.

In the beginning I received great information, feedback and HELP! Now I get nothing. No help. Short answer. Denying any assistance. I keep getting court documents. I send them to the email. In the beginning they were handled, in the middle I was given my attorney's office information to give to creditors, and now I get a crappy response, "We aren’t lawyers!" Ummmm what’s happened??? At this point I cannot be done soon enough.

Great reliable service, fast easy process. We had gone with Global Debt Relief and they were being sued by an individual and caused the company to go stagnate as our debtors continued to write and or call and we had no answers for them! Freedom Debt Relief helped me to get out my debts of my eight credit cards for less than four years, I'm finished and graduated last August 2024. FDR staff and customer service that I talked to are all friendly, nice, respectful and did their good job to their clients. It has been a great experience and yes I have recommended family and friends...they have covered several debt for a big difference in amount and is still getting them done. I have been very satisfied with the outcome of the debt that has been cleared as of yet.... One was about 2000.00 for 700.00 that was the pay off... Great deal and people are very friendly.

The services are great though you have to pay for every credit card debt they settle for you. It should be a one time fee charged to you, since the goal is to help you get out of debt. The charges are based in the amount of the credit card debt. However it was a better alternative than bankruptcy for me.

Excellent customer service and very informative. They keep you updated to everything that is going on and let you know of any changes. The dashboard is very easy to operate and understand and no questions is never unanswered. They really help you in every step of the way. I’m glad I made this choice to go with Freedom Debt Relief.

I understand why you wait to contact companies to settle debts but the companies have every right to try to collect their money. When I called to stop auto debits for monthly payments, I told the companies that I was in a debt relief program. When I would call your office to relay the previous contact, I was told you would not be contacting the company for quite some time. When the companies would not hear from you verifying I was in the program then they restarted the debits taking money I could not afford, negating the whole intent of the program.

I have to say I was NOT to impressed with FDR. The wheels just seemed to be spinning, with nothing getting done. Then all of a sudden BAM I've got like 7-8 accounts settled. Trust them, and their system, and poof debt is gone. I still have like 2 1/2 years to go, but with that so will the 50,000 debt I had.

The folks that I worked with were very positive and explained every step in process to me. When I have called back with question, they were very professional and very positive. When I could not make my first payment and asked them to push it back a week, they were very positive and moved the date and explained what it not a problem moving to a temporary date.

I have had a great experience with Freedom Debt, they have negotiated several of my accounts with high balances down to low balances within a timely manner. My credit score has increased due to these accounts being lowered. I appreciate their Customer Service Dept., always willing to help with questions or changes I may have regarding my account.

The only issue I have is I have not heard anything else from anyone about my accounts. I keep getting calls and emails of my accounts being past due and I just want to make sure that they are being taken care of and negotiated. Otherwise the two people I have talked to have been great. I am just ready to get these accounts taken care of.

I have been struggling with making payments to my 3 credit accounts due to my income being cut in half after recently becoming my mom's caregiver. I think notifying the credit card co. Would have helped instead of them calling saying they had not been notified from Freedom. After I told them you were my debt relief company. They kept calling me asking who I was with closing my accounts with on my credit cards. It took a while.

The entire process was so much easier than I imagined from day 1 to the last day of my program FDR were always there with answers to all my questions. The only downside is that the money they save you will count towards your income on your tax return for that year which in my case was a lot of money!! Having said that …. Thank You FDR you saved me from years of credit card debt!!!

They were fantastic on the first phone call. Spent almost 2 hours discussing things. Since then I have reached out more than once with radio silence back. I have questions regarding my accounts as well as updates on creditors. I would appreciate better communication even if it’s through email or text.

This question is without a shadow of a doubt "yes". This program has helped me tremendously in paying off debt. I was very hesitant to sign up for this program because of not really understanding what the process was. But after the initial enrollment person explained everything to me and the amount I would be saving, it was a no-brainer. He walked me through the process. I was mislead by this company. I was told they would not take out fees till creditors were paid. I was lied to. I made first payment October 3 2024 and still does not show up on dashboard. Communication is poor. They don’t answer their emails. It feels like a total scam.

It’s help a lot how to pay all my bills. Am so happy doing just one pay a month. I will tell my friends and family to go with Freedom so they could help if they need help to. It’s so helpful that and 2 or 3 years we could finish with all the bills.

No settlements have been reached or even sent to companies this is the worst service ever. I need more to be done for my account. I need to settlement should be reached already. I don’t know why I have to wait till February 2025 or I need some type of reimbursement because this is unacceptable.

My phone call with Patrick yesterday - provided me with the knowledge that I selected the right course to consolidate my debts. My initial phone call with David R. was so in depth taking it all in was too brief (but thorough) - Patrick explained and answered questions about the process.

So I was VERY hesitant at first going through Freedom because I always took pride in making my minimum payments at least. But life deals you blows and its many times unfair. Now I wish I had done it sooner! Living with a disability for over 2 years (fired from my high paying job soon after) put me further and further behind. I have been able to save money and use that money to also pay some of my debt off, in addition to what FDR has been able to do. I am happy with what's been going on with my credit. With every negotiation and payoff, it goes up. If you stick with it, FDR will help you also.

I am grateful that Freedom Debt Relief ended my debts for me. The only dissatisfaction is that even though my debts will all be paid off in a few months, that I have to make $215 payments even after final debt is paid off. The finance fees should be about $50 per month. After all I came to the company because of financial hardship.

I called FDR to drop out of the program because I had been told by my landlord that my November 2024 rent will be increasing by $200.00. Brandon was very understanding and considerate of my situation. He explained how staying with the program would be beneficial to me in the long run. Being in debt can be pretty overwhelming. With the aid of FDR, my debts have been cleared up, one at a time, through FDR’s negotiating for a settlement in my favor, in a timely manner. I am very pleased with the progress I have made with FDR at the helm.

We are not even sure you have a customer service representative. After two (2) years in your program we have sent fifteen (15) emails and at least that many phone calls, leaving messages and we have yet to talk to a representative. We have sent several government resources helping Veterans in depth, and your company refuses to use my Veterans Benefits. We sent several letters from banks attempting to close some accounts way less then your company is agreeing too. Over two years and we are still receiving collections notifications. WE ARE PISSED OFF and getting ready to speak to legal professionals on actions needed to take. All of this is unnecessary if y’all just answer some questions.

From my first interaction FDR has been great. When I didn't qualify for a loan, they had another option for me. They give you tools and don't call, text, etc. constantly. Updated on 01/15/2025: I've been working with them for about four months now, and the communication has been very good. The customer service is excellent, as they always answer all my questions promptly. I’ve already seen a significant difference in one of my accounts, with about 60 or 70% of the total debt being taken care of, and they're currently working on the second one.

I would see and hear commercials for services like these and always assumed they were a scam. Long story short, I got in to some impulse buying issues and it got out of control and I couldn't make the monthly payments. Enter the debt collectors. I saw another ad for FDR and thought "what the hell?" They negotiated with my creditors and reduced my debt by 45%. So, now I only have to make much more manageable monthly payments. This is real, folks!

I was skeptical, but the team helped me through every step and detail. I'm just new to this program. I can't really give you a full detail on what it's all about but in overall they were very patient with me as they were very instructive on how to do with the people that are going to be contacting me in the near future and let them know they're all going to get paid through them.

Helped me get my paying off debt in order and I'm grateful. Worked with me on existing debt that will be paid off as they negotiate a payoff. It's a great plan and I am pleased that I chose to do this. It takes the pressure off of me. Now I can rest easy and get my credit rating repaired.

The perk of using this service is as long as you continue to make your monthly deposits they will steadily over time negotiate settlements on your debts and you'll generally pay much less in those monthly deposits than you would in monthly payments to those debts. However, while waiting for your deposits to build up your creditors will continue to charge interest on your accounts, meaning by the time a settlement is negotiated even at 50% settlement you may be paying more in accumulated interest and their settlement fee than what you owed at the start of the program. That said, if you're already behind and drowning in debt, this is an option to survive.

I am very dissatisfied with the processing time to dissolve my debts because is taking way too long to settle my debts. I am very unhappy that is going to take me another more 5 years or even more to dissolve my problems! I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the time to take to resolve my problems and this should not be the case. I need it to be faster and more immediate! Not a good experience!

Everything we talked about in the beginning is going as planned. No complaints here. Credit is going back up and things are a lot better. I would recommend everyone to give it a shot. I have nothing at this time. This was only to take 48 months and I already have 2 1/2 years in and I got a notification that one of my debts is going to take 34 months to close. Well with that, it is going to take longer than 4 years.

Everything was good until you started pulling my payment out a week early with no notice. I find this very rude and am thinking about switching to a different company unless someone calls me and explains why. You have made me go into the negative in my bank account both times this has happened! I’m not made of money

Didn’t explain everything correctly, but I’m into it now so there’s not much I can do about it. They didn’t explain the part about. I had to wait three months to be late in order to start getting this debit correctly. Meanwhile, I keep getting all these calls in Texas. Really irritating.

They have helped restore some on my credit and it's seems to be working already. Still taking longer than I thought it would. There's still some that haven't even been touched yet. They should have been touched first. Now they're just more money and more money and it's just going to cost me more and take me longer to get it done.

Like the way each account is getting solved in a timely matter, and is always being informed about what has happened, and about what is about to happen next, and the time limit estimated. Freedom will not notify creditors that they are handling the credit and therefore the creditors keep on calling and calling. From what I’ve noticed is I’m paying more to freedom than I’m paying to my creditors. From what I’m paying it looks as I’m going to be paying more than what I initially owed.

I have been quite happy with Freedom Debt Relief. Every time I call, I get someone knowledgeable who is willing to do whatever needs to be done. My only issue is that the website doesn't seem to deal with Safari (Apple's web browser) very well. I wind up having to use Google Chrome and have to log in multiple times on Google Chrome. Other than that, I have no problems.

I wasn't told my credit would take hit it took and when in program I can't have any credit. I still have other cards that I couldn't add to the program. It's good when it works, save little, hurts your credit. I have few more cards, have wait to put on program, some can't, they need to work negotiating faster.

Things I was told on the initial call were inaccurate and I believe they just were trying to get my business/money. The debt they told me that would be resolved first and in 4 months, is still there after 7 months. Also, I was assured I could reach him by phone or email with any questions or issues. I tried to reach him both ways, multiple times, and haven't heard a peep from him. Also, they didn't explain how bad the calls from creditors would be. I receive calls from 8 am to 9:30 pm every day!

I thought signing up with you would be helpful for my current situation. But after I was all signed up, gave you my personal information, the woman says "So are you comfortable with telling your creditors about this?". HELL NO, I'm not comfortable. A perspective from a person going through this program. Switching to FDR feels a bit weird at first. Not paying your debt and letting it "go" feels awkward. But if you stick with the program, it will work out eventually. I was able to settle all my debts quick and easy. So far it has been one of the better decisions I have made.

I have sent back the same account several times. They keep sending the same negotiated amount after I specifically asked for a lower renegotiated amount. The account in question was turned into collections and should be able to be lowered. Also I would have liked to have seen the lower dollar accounts settled first.

Process seems to moving slower than I expected. I understood would take time to pay debt but the negotiating process slower than explained. Not sure the speed of the process is reflective of the fees charged to the customer. It has been nearly a year and only negotiated 4 accounts

You’re not working on my debt like you said you would. It’s few and far between when you finally do make a negotiation. I figured you’d work on them faster especially the bigger ones but you’re not. It doesn’t make any sense to me, but I guess it is what it is.
