So far the short time into the program I have settled 3 accounts. The big thing is the communications have been outstanding. This company really cares about its clients. I am so glad I went with this company. If you need help with your bills then this is the company to go with.

The service was excellent. Explanation's easy to understand and assistance readily available. The negotiations were done in a very timely manner and the results are as promised in the beginning of the program. It is certainly a better route to go than bankruptcy.

Just wish they would try to pay more bills off sooner than Freedom Debt Relief have. But please with the customer service and they will answer questions when I call and very nice. But just wish some of my bills would be paid off sooner than they are.

I wanted 4 credit cards and a loan to be consolidated and this company is not doing what is promised. Then the customer service rep wanted to argue with me to cancel my services. You don't tell a customer no.

I was happy with my experience. My only concern was the urgency to choose and that I wasn't told by Freedom Debt before the call. It seems a little disconnected since the funds currently in my account wasn't added. I understand the process is all estimates. When I signed up for the debt reduction program I was advised that all the credit card debt that I listed; they said they have a relationship with. That led me to believe all my credit card debt would be reduced. One of the CC company does not settle period. I quit making payments as part of the debt program and as a result I got sued and have to pay an extra 1200.00 in fees and attorney fees. How does this help the consumer? FDR could have advised me of this. The CC company was willing to work with me on their own. Freedom Debt Relief company need to make sure they can settle with CC companies before telling the consumer they can.

Living on a fixed income with having to depend on credit cards to supplement income. Able to pay each month in a timely manner but are concerned that this could change. It has taken away some stress, although still keep getting calls and threats from people we owe. We stay with a positive attitude as we move on to pay our debts. So far I am pleased. They have been great! Everyone was helpful and understanding. I do not want to let my mom down. My dad just died, my mom's air conditioning went out, her dog is diabetic, and Sunday night someone broke into her house while she was down at my home. The bank she used she had her mortgage with had added a life insurance on my dad, we spoke to the Branch manager and it should have paid it but he no longer works there. So they are looking into it. My dad was a decorated Vietnam Vet. We filed for his pension because one of the VA advocates said that heart failure was a direct link to Agent Orange. That was the first known cause of death, but pneumonia was also listed as the third cause in two weeks from his death. Yesterday someone broke into her house while she was here. Then her identity was stolen and $3000. Was taken out of her banking account. I also have a daughter that is in college.

I totally recommend Freedom Debt Relief. These people have saved my mother from credit card debt. For years I have been complaining about credit card companies being allowed to prey on people and keep them in relentless debt forever. These predatory lending practices have got to stop! Momma is on the way to paying off all of her credit cards in just 3 1/2 more years, instead of looking forward to debt for the rest of her life. They also advised me about my student loan, which is government subsidized and NOT predatory. It was a relief to know that my student loan terms are already the best that I can get. If you have to take out a student loan, get yourself a Stafford subsidized loan - They will let you defer payments whenever you need to and allow you TEN years to pay off your loan. Very disappointed with the program. I'm not benefiting from it and my credit now is very low. Is been 7 months that I joined the program and don't see any progress. My experience with FDR so far has been very positive. I have 3 out of 4 settlements with creditors within 6 months! The debt totaled $50K and settled to $30K. The customer services are very helpful and prompt response to any questions. I highly recommended.

We have been sending e-mails to Taylor ** and Robert at Debt Relief and no updates on what is going on. We sent information to both about JC Penney's want to settle and with a very attractive offer and I sent it to them and no answer. I am very concerned, we are trying to resolve our situation and lack of communication is not there. Did we go to the wrong company? My wife & I started in August 2016 with $40k of debt. We were paying our bills but was looking for a way to consolidate our multiple lines of credit and reduce our monthly credit card bill to free up our budget. One of the places we were talking to introduced us to Freedom. They explained the plan - all of which I was happy with. The monthly payment I was to pay was about 30% lower than what we were currently paying. We had consolidated our multiple lines of credit into 1 monthly payment. I was happy with that. I was told that the plan would take us about 4 years to complete. I was happy with that.
Apart from the obvious, creditor calls & my tanking credit score everything was going as planned. Then I was sued. I found out after the fact that Discover had no reservations to sue you. This screwed everything up. I must say that NLLG was easy to work with but what I wasn't told up front was if you get sued the settlement % is higher. Discover was the one card that I owed the most on and it was settled for 80.25%. After Freedom added their 21% fee onto the settlement I owed 101.25% of the loan. The settlement was split into payments that would last 18 months. I wasn't happy.
However soon after this (this is 6 months into the program) I received an offer from Consolidation Plus (Freedom's sister company) to consolidate the rest of my loans. Basically they settle the rest of your debts and they consolidate the sum of the settlements plus your fee into 1 payment. I was thrilled about the offer but the offer was awful. Basically it was putting me back to where I was at the start but paying more. Payments were going to be bi-monthly and each payment was going to be close to the one current monthly payment I was making. Fortunately I had another line of money open up and I was able to get out of the bad situation. In summary - the plan probably works for some but didn't end so well for me. Customer Service is great - their web portal was great - but the overall service didn't end up as advertised.

I have seen my credit score increase steadily since being on Freedom's program. It does take time, but I know that the bills will be paid off way before I would ever get them paid off. I would recommend Freedom Debt Relief to a friend or family member because of the great service and support they provide during the process of becoming debt free or in a better situation. I have done a consolidated loan before years ago and they are no longer allowed to operate in California. One of my creditors recommended me to call Freedom Debt. I had a hard time deciding to trust my debt to FDR, primarily because of the disturbing idea of consciously defaulting on my credit card payments. The first six months were difficult to weather, with creditors calling all the time and no settled debts. Then, on the seventh month, I received a text message from FDR asking me to approve a settlement. A week later the second settlement came in. Altogether FDR has saved me over $14,000 dollars and I should be out of debt in two years. I definitely recommend FDR as an effective way to eliminate debt.

Very poor follow-up and response to my concerns and emails. You recommended CONSOLIDATE Plus to me to help me out to get a loan, to facilitate and speed up negotiation and pay off the debt sooner while actually they tried to screw me big time and help themselves and you. Being charged $10 for every check payment you make. In summary, I wonder how much will I be saving when this whole thing is over with??!!

I got myself in a bad situation with credit cards and loans due to several medical issues. When I signed up I was told I could mail in a check. I wanted to mail in a large check and called to find out how and the customer service rep told me it was impossible. There was no way to send in a check. Also, that same rep was looking at my account. If they were sharp and on the ball, would have told me that my account was at zero and that I had a payment due in a week or two. I was never told or totally forgot that you take thousands of dollars in commissions first before making my payments and I did not know I was at zero. If I had known I could have made a deposit of the $200!

Overall I am satisfied. I am not happy with the length of time it takes to negotiate and the continued downslide of my credit. However, I was told about this when I enrolled. My payment is a little higher than I'm comfortable with and I am still unsure if this will all work in my favor. I did receive a folder with instructions. Started with FDR 8 months ago. I was in a situation where I needed help financially. I turned to FDR and I am glad I did. From day one the customer service reps are very informative. If there is a concern they can't handle you can ask to speak to a supervisor and are referred immediately without any further questioning like other companies. The first contact the representative was very thorough and made me feel at ease. They have worked with me every time I had a question. The dashboard is a good tool where you can follow your progress. FDR gives you updates via emails and explains your progress. They are with you all the time which is comfortable feeling. This professional company makes you feel important during your time of need and throughout the whole process.
I am grateful I called and choose FDR to represent me with my financial needs. If you don't believe me call me. I will let you know the confidence and relief they gave me during negotiations process. Again this negotiations take a while not because of FDR. It's due to the credit companies but FDR is there the whole time and you can call and get your peace of mind. I would recommend the other services they provide for additional protection and support. I didn't use them but I knew they had my back if the creditors had additional concerns. Thank you FDR. Can't wait til I am debt free through your program and make life more enjoyable for me. You didn't mislead me anytime during this process. And gave me more finances to enjoy doing things I couldn't do before.

To be truthful had a little issue at first which took several phone calls and several supervisor involvements. But finally the right person took over and advised me correctly. I love FDR!!! They are really there for you 100%!!! And the program is SO SO SO easy to use with all the tools they set you up with. All you have to do is go to the website they provide for you and all the payments made, money in your account and whatever is going on with your account, it's all there for you to see, super easy to use. One thing I would recommend that your Certified Debt Consultants do is make it absolutely clear that you will be taking a percentage for each of the settlements negotiated. I was told you would be taking a percentage, but it was not clear it would be each settlement resolved, and before anything was paid to the creditor.

My experience is not a good experience at all. What I do not like about the process is that Freedom Debt Relief paid a lot of money for the work that you are doing. I do understand you have to get paid, but why not get paid in installments like you are paying off our creditors. Reason being, you can only negotiate one creditor at a time. So in the meantime the other creditors are waiting to get information about payments and this means that we are also getting calls from the creditors saying they have not received a call nor have they received any information regarding Freedom working on my behalf. Freedom is getting paid a lot of money to negotiate on my behalf and I'm still getting calls and emails from creditors. I am very dissatisfied with that process.
